You heard a knock on your apartment door, not exactly expecting anyone. You had a day off, and you planned on vegging out on the couch all day long. So, you begrudgingly got up from your spot before you could really grow roots, and went to answer the door.

You pulled it open, smiling a bit when you saw who was waiting for you on the other side.

“Spencer!”

The man smiled back at you, giving you a shy little wave as if he wasn’t a dear friend. You welcomed him in, though he kind of lingered by the door.

“What brings you here today?” you asked.

“Just wanted to say hi.”

“Yeah?”

He nodded. “And… well, I brought this.”

He handed over a little box of chocolates, kind of shoving it in your hands. You laughed a little, raising a brow at him.

“Wow. Thanks, Spencer… Uh, what is this for, exactly?”

He shrugged a little. “I like you?”

You raised a brow at him for a moment.

“We’ve been friends forever, Spence,” you rolled your eyes playfully. “Don’t be ridiculous.”

He smiled softly. “That’s… That’s even more time to fall for you, then.”

You looked at him for a moment, then shook your head a little. You looked at the little box of chocolates again, hiding a smile.

“You’ll have to try harder to convince me. I think you’re just being silly,” you said at last.

You started walking into your living room, instructing him to follow you.

He chuckled a little, speaking under his breath. “I’ll happily keep trying until you believe me.”

Guardian Doll (part 1)

So no one commented on that post I made regarding if I should post this or not...but I did it anyway. I decided to post it just to see if there are people who would be interested on this story and want me to continue. I am already writing a second part, I'm still working on where the plot will go, but y'all are free to join me on this journey.

So please comment if you like this and/or want me to continue writing/posting this story! Comments really do help fuel my motivation so maybe I will write it but if enough want to see it, I will post it as well.

Cecilia was exhausted. 

Physically, emotionally, you name it. Seventh grade was hell and school just drained the life out of her, sucked her soul dry, and she still had to walk home. 

Great. 

At least she would be alone on her walk. Where she didn’t need to deal with her classmates purposefully bumping into her, laughing at her. It would be a nice break from her parents being up her ass about her homework and being their own and only “perfect” child. 

Yeah, a break from all of that would be nice. 

Take what you want, take what you can, take what you please, don’t give a damn. 

The song played in Cecilia’s headphones, humming the lyrics under her breath as she strolled through the cemetery. It was a shortcut, a bit of a faster yet much more peaceful way to get home. She enjoyed the sense of serenity, the trees looming over her head and gentle breeze of wind surrounding her. 

But just then, something odd caught her attention. 

Ask for forgiveness, never permission. 

There was a doll sitting on the grass, alone. It wasn’t by a particular gravesite, it just sat there in the middle of the small field. 

Cecilia moved closer, crouching down in front of the doll and tilted her head to the side. It was a rather tall doll, probably would’ve been up to her knee had it been standing. It had blonde hair with black roots, wearing a white dress and black leather jacket with black heeled boots, painted black lips and dark eyeliner around its piercing green eyes. 

Overall, it was a fascinating style for a doll and something that Cecilia herself wouldn’t mind trying out sometime. 

Yeah, as if. Her parents would kill her if she walked around dressed like a doll. 

“How long have you been here, pretty girl?” Cecilia wondered out loud. It must have been some time, there were leaves on the doll’s dress, which she silently plucked away. After a moment of staring, she picked the doll up, smoothing back the soft blonde hair that almost felt real, and stood up. 

Take what you want, take what you can, take what you please, don’t give a damn. 

Cecilia walked further into the field near where she found the doll, wondering if this was a child’s toy that had been forgotten or it was placed on the grave of a deceased child and somehow been misplaced or moved. But judging by the names and birth and death date, there were no children tombstones. For some reason, only one tombstone that was closest to where she found the doll caught her attention but it belonged to an adult man. 

Charles Lee Ray. 

Well, whoever that was, Cecilia was sure that he wouldn’t have a doll by his grave, especially if he had been dead for about thirty years. 

To her, it seemed like the doll had no home. 

This was a very nice doll. If Cecilia sold her, she could probably get a lot of money for it. 

Or…

“How would you feel if I took you home, hm? I’ll make sure you’re nice and comfy.” She spoke to the doll with a little smile. 

Then, the sun shone and Cecilia noticed a gold necklace on the doll with a word written on it. 

“Tiff…” she read out loud, smiling more, “is that your name? Tiff?” 

Of course, the doll didn’t respond but she felt like she knew the answer. 

Finally, Cecilia readjusted her grip on the doll, Tiff, and she started walking home. She always liked dolls and it would be nice to finally get a new one after years. 

Besides, what could go wrong?

It’s in the blood and this is tradition.

New Year With You is up and I just love it 🥰 idkw but it feels bittersweet somehow. Maybe I’m just really sentimental but I love these kind of drabbles. The ones where you get to see more of the characters after the initial happy ending. Especially if it is a story you’ve come to love and be really attached with. I personally feel unfulfilled (and sometimes even betrayed) whenever i read a story with alot of pining and/or drama and then it just ends abruptly after they finally confess and/or be together. Like, after all the angst and torture, I really want to see what happens after, even just a little. Especially if it’s like a really long series. Of course, I understand and respect the author’s choice and decision when they do this but I can’t help it, i live for domestic fluffy scenes 🥺 Okay, I’m rambling, sorry 😅

Going back to the drabble, I just want to say again how much i love Grandma Jeon. She’s such a refreshing character. I felt MC when she said she’ll miss her, cause same girl 🤧 I really hope to see more of her if you ever want to write more drabbles in the future. If not, that’s okay too. And I also love how they spent New Years at Jk’s together 🥺 cause I’m not really a fun of clubs, with it being humid and crammed and all, just not my scene. I’m a homebody so a party with just your close friends, with food and booze, now that’s a party I’ll love 😍 I love the chaotic mess with their get ups, and the body shots 🥴 and do I sense a little TaeJin? 👀 and I also agree with Tae lol 😂 And Hobi wanting to create an outfit and matching accessories for our main couple 🥹 and the group pics to remember their first New Years together 🥺 Idk if you have plans on writing more drabbles of them in the future but I just wanna tell you how I really really loved this drabble, to see more of these characters that I’ve come to love. Thank you for this, you wrote amazingly as always 💜

Hello! Oh, I totally understand that! I originally didn’t have drabbles planned but I couldn’t fit the phone call into part one and then I had the idea for NYE. I’d love to have another for Valentine’s Day but since I’m looking for jobs idk if I’ll be able to get it out in time 😅 and I wanted to write something for spring break but idk lol

If I do write spring break grandmother Jeon will be back with Luna and Grandmother Park 👀

I’ve never actually spent NYE at a club but I imagine it’s packed. The roads in my hometown get shut down even earlier around the clubbing area and they stay closed until morning so I imagine it gets packed more than a regular weekend. I feel like I’d enjoy being with friends more in my own home lol

Tae and Jin lol I love them. Tae was flirty with Jin bc Jin is always flirty with everyone 😂 Hoseok wants to create them the best matching outfit. Maybe during the summer he’ll have time to make something special for them.

[ 11:11 ] bakugou's nervous the first time you hold him. he's not typically one to overthink - people who do it tend to piss him off - but there are many, many thoughts running through his mind as your arms embrace him.

he's not used to being touched by people. he doesn't know how to respond to someone holding his hand, let alone you holding him so tenderly like he's all you see. for the first time, bakugou's scared to say something to you.

his mother (echoing his father's sentiment in a much louder voice, of course) had told him not to touch anyone at a young age. he immediately understood why; his quirk was activated from his sweat, and said quirk was powerful and dangerous. bakugou was too young, too weak to control his quirk and stop an accident from happening.

he feels weaker now than he did then, even with rows of accomplishments which ceaselessly claim the opposite. he should not be weak now, so why was he trembling? why was it, in your loving arms and your comforting touch, he was more scared than ever?

you tell him he's tense, and he cannot formulate a coherent reply. the words are blocked in his throat. he's scared, he wants to say. he could never want to hurt you on accident, if his quirk activates. you must be psychic when you say it'll be alright. you must be psychic when you say that you trust him, and letting go won't be dangerous. you reason, wouldn't it be more dangerous to hang onto the worries of an accident? wouldn't it create more sweat? he breaks when you finally say you love him no matter what, silent tears slipping down his cheeks as you hold him, because he's never been held quite like this before.

James was always needy. That was no surprise to anyone in your circle. Especially when it came to you.

Of course, you usually loved to indulge him! He was so sweet and soft when it came to you, and always wanted to be by your side. But… some days you needed to actually get work done without a needy boyfriend trying to be on you.

You sat in the boys’s dorm, trying to help Sirius study for the potions exam on Friday. He was usually pretty good in that class, but a bout of migraines had caused him to miss a couple classes that week.

“Okay, so… no,” you shake your head while quizzing him, showing him the book. “It’s crushed moonstone and then four stirs counterclockwise.”

Sirius groaned, about to open his mouth when James’s arms snaked around your shoulders, pressing several kisses to your cheek.

“James… Cut it out,” you sighed, pushing him away. “I’m trying to help Sirius.”

“I’m gonna fail this test,” Sirius grumbled, his face in his hands.

You pulled his hands away from his face.

“No, you won’t,” you state.

James meanwhile sat pouting next to you. He didn’t like being pushed away.

“Can’t I just hold you? I won’t bother you,” James said, reaching for your hand.

You sighed. “Jamie. Pads needs help. I can’t do that when you’re trying to be all over me.”

“Please?”

You shook your head. “Fine. But you can’t distract me.”

He smiled, wrapping his arms tightly around your waist with his chin on your shoulder. You continued with trying to help Sirius, and to your merit, he was improving a little. But it was getting increasingly hard to focus on the task at hand with James constantly moving and snuggling you like a needy child.

Your breaking point came when he started trying to kiss your neck while you were going over the properties of pearl dust.

“James,” you snap softly. “I’m trying to help. Stop it.”

“…but I love you,” he pouted, shrinking in on himself a little.

Sirius sighed, looking at his friend with a roll of his eyes. He glanced back at you.

“Go on and take care of the big baby. My brain is fried anyway, I need a nap,” Sirius said, dropping down face first on his bed.

James looked a little offended. “I’m not a baby.”

You huffed a breath. “You’re my baby. Let’s go cuddle, you massive dork.”

He smiled brightly, taking your hand and practically dragging you to his bed.

Open Heart Drabble - Bryce & Keiki

I hope you like this little valentine. Happiest of Valentine’s Day @peonierose! I hope it is filled with love and friendship as I hope every other day is as well.

You have no idea how happy seeing a familia pairing for this Valentine’s Day event made me! I have never celebrated Valentine’s Day in the traditional/commercial sense. It always seemed so strange to me that people reserve these gestures of love for a single, expected day. What’s the point? I think you should do the grand gestures on the same days you do the little ones. And do them for ALL the people you love. So for you to ask for these two had me so very happy.

Warnings& A/N: No warnings. I’ve never written Keiki before so hope I captured her. I put more notes at the end of the drabble so as not to spoil things too much but felt I needed to explain where this idea came from. Otherwise it seems like it comes out of left field. Also I saw that your Open Heart OC is named Luna and I couldn’t get it out of my heart that Bryce calls her Bella Luna (but that’s incidental to this story).

“Hurry up, loser.”

“This isn’t something you can rush.”

“Rush what? You are trying on clothes.”

“You can’t rush perfection,” he smirked as he threw the dressing room door open and strutted out in bell bottoms, platform shoes, a paisley top - the pale yellow of which clashed with the darker yellow of the pants - and gold aviators.

A few older ladies passing by scowling at the him as he turned in front of the mirror smoothing out invisible wrinkles and then to Keiki who howled with laughter.

“This is the perfection you were talking about? You look perfectly stupid, that’s for sure.”

“Hey, you picked it out.”

“Exactly.”

“Okay, your turn,” he said throwing clothes in her arms and shoving her towards the dressing room.

A few minutes later she stepped out of the dressing room frowning at him.

“This is the frumpiest thing I’ve ever worn.”

“Perfect for my baby sis,” Bryce winked.

“It’s a hundred years old,” she spun looking at the dress the ankle length dress with long sleeves and high collar. “And flats? Really?”

“Brown flats,” he pointed out.

She stuck her tongue out at him.

“Hey, I stuck to the theme,” he protested with a playful pout on his lips.

“The 1870s is not the same as the 70s.”

“Guess I should go search for the bonnet to go with it then, huh?”

“Don’t you dare!” she laughed.

He threw his arm around her shoulders pulling her into into a hug. “We look great. Best year yet, if I do say so myself.”

Keiki smiled at him in the mirror before holding her phone up and snapping a picture of the two of them.

“Yeah, we will definitely turn heads.”

“And break some hearts.”

“Not dressed like this I won’t.”

“That was the idea,” he chuckled.

So back in high school there was a group of us that refused to celebrate Valentine’s Day (even if we were dating someone at the time) just to spite the popular group that always made a big deal of dressing up, and buying jewelry, and going to fancy restaurants with their significant other. It started as a joke but quickly became our favorite thing. We would make a reservation for the group room at the same restaurant as the coupes.

But we went to the local thrift store and picked out an outfit for a friend to wear at dinner. We had a different theme each year that we all had to stick to. If you didn’t like your outfit the only way out of it was to get majority vote that it didn’t fit the theme. It never happened because there was no chance the rest of us would let ya out of wearing it 😂

The more ridiculous or outrageous the outfit, the better. We’d strut our stuff walking passed all the tables of couples on Valentine’s Day and I like to imagine Bryce and Keiki having this tradition and MC being in full support of it.
