i posted my reaction to the new stray kids comeback trailer on twitter the other day.

after some quick googling i found that

1010235 brings up a kpop song called passionate love.

but it apparently is a korean version of the 143 and means to “love dearly”

and the 9090 is an angel number meaning universal love.

there might be more to that one and i’m still searching.

so take that as you will for now.

So i just noticed the tattoos and some Maniac parallels

Hyunjin’s neck tattoo originally looked like “love” to me, but what I thought was a v looks more like a capital N spelling “ONe” or “aloNe”. I just can’t see it that well. He also has one on his forearm that is a rose wrapped around to also make a face. Really pretty but idk what the symbolism could mean other than roses look pretty but have thorns.

Not to mention his parallels to his Maniac self eating the apple with the weird green spots on it and having green eyes like others pointed out.

Now Changbin’s says “FREE HUG” like his sign did in the Maniac trailer.

There’s Seungmin with cameras again, Minho with messing up cans again, Chris with bashing a skateboard again but that’s not from Maniac, Jeongin still..on the street/missing(?)

So…the Maniacs are free?

Stray Kids Give Me Your TMI Theory!

I was just re-watching the GMYTMI MV today, when I noticed something! I love making my own SKZ theories along with my friends, so I thought, why not post some of my theories here! So here we go!

In Give Me Your TMI, Stray Kids become Kingsmen to finish the mission of finding the TMI of the person they want to get close with. At first, it appears as if all the members are Kingsmen, but if you watch carefully, you will realise that out of the 8 members, only 7 are Kingsmen initially!

Felix is not a Kingsman initially! He is just someone who came to clean the place up. He doesn't really know what the shop is truly used for... He only believes it is a boutique for men, and that the people who own and run it are very cool.

While cleaning, he comes across a pair of glasses, similar to the ones that run the 'boutique', and decides to try them on.

What he doesn't realise is, that they are actually the special vr glasses that the Kingsmen use. He suddenly sees all this new information around him through the glasses.... information that he was originally not supposed to have.

When the Kingsmen find this out, Leeknow interviews Felix, trying to see if Felix can be trusted with the information. The interview also includes several tests to see if Felix knows weaponry and if he is able to identify it correctly.

Felix is able to find out the purpose of the interview, and passes Leeknow's tests.

And so, Leeknow accepts him into the Kingsman fold and gives him some more details about the mission they have.

Once Felix gets basic training, he is allowed to accompany Leeknow and Bang Chan to the mission, who focus on disturbing the facility base from outside.

However, it is clear that he is not fully acquainted with all the weapons the Kingsmen used, as he is clearly unaware that what he thought was an innocent chocolate, was infact a bomb.

This is why we see everyone being comfortable at the meeting table, looking at each other, holding conversations, but Felix is the only one who is looking down at his glass awkwardly. He is just very new to the job of being a Kingsman. New, but a Kingsman in the end.

Thus we see, that the plot of the Give Me Your TMI MV not only revolves around the 8 members going on a mission to find the TMI, but also around Felix finding his place among the Kingsmen. A story of how he joined the elite.

(My friend also reminds me: This story also feels very similar to the Oddinary Trailer, which is about Felix joining the ranks of the Oddinary members)

Maniac - Stray Kids

I'm back with one more MV analysis and this time we'll talk about Maniac. I highly recommend the reading of my latest analysis, where I talk about Venom. But, if you don't want to read it, no problem! I'll do my best to cover every topic here and give a good explanation

Just like last post, I will also put some unanswered questions in the end. And just like last post, I'm also tired lmao. Not proofread but I'll try my best.

With that being said, let's go!

The Quartet

In my last post I said I.N, Seungmin and Lee Know were up to something. I.N was a bad guy, Seungmin was somewhat a bad influence to Felix and Lee Know knew about the two realities (oddinary one and normal one). Now, may I add another gentleman to the group of suspicious guys: Changbin

Besides the scenes where they were together having fun and some others where they were together, Changbin alone deserves to be highlighted in this MV and that's why:

Clones

Yes, I.N is somehow related to clones because there is a scene where he is with a lot of clones. And everyone talks about that scene. That's important for the plot, of course. But for some reason I have never seen someone talk about Changbin's clones?

Here it is. Whatever ability I.N has or accident he suffered, Changbin has or went through the same. Now, I know everyone in the skzverse is suspicious and should not be trusted (besides han because apparently he didn't do anything wrong, but that's sus as well), but I am most skeptical about some people and now, Changbin is part of that crew.

Also, I don't know if that relates or perhaps I'm reading too deep, but Changbin's necklace is a heart. And with maxident, we know that hearts are not exactly a good thing

Back to our beloved quartet, we have

Lee Know

It seems like a joke, but Lee Know does know everything that's going on, or at least I believe so. And my theory is once again comproved in this MV

You know how I.N was cloning himself when he was alone? If you pay attention to the window, you'll see Lee Know looking at him. And later he says the following

There is no way of being sure if the lyrics match to the scene, as the SKZverse is built from the MVs and not the songs. But, if this line do match with what's going on in the mv, then we have a good theory here

Jeongin is an imposter. He pretends to be a friend and an ally to stray kids, but in reality he is a somewhat villain. But his eyes can't fool LK. Minho knows I.N's true intentions

Jeongin eyes

You know how I.N's appearance is normal throughout almost the whole MV? Let's focus on a certain frame

When Lee Know mentions Jeongin's eyes, maybe he was being a little too literal. Maybe he can really see the real intention through his eyes. As we know because of Case 143, hearts are not a good thing. And if Jeongin has a heart in his left eye, that might symbolyze something bad

Felix

Now let's talk about the coolest thing here.

I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what was that in Felix's hand, but once I discovered it made so much sense!

Basically, that's a greek eye. Which is used to keep the evil away and protect the one who is using it. Felix is the only one wearing this jewelry, meaning he probably is the only one who needs protection. At least for now

So we are skeptical of I.N and Changbin mostly, because they are related to clones and hearts.

Seungmin and Lee Know play an important role, I believe both know something the others don't

Felix is once again in a bad situation where he needs to run away and protect himself from the danger

Questions

What is Seungmin doing with Hyunjin here?

Is Felix trying to run away from the oddinary reality?

Why was Changbin the only one walking backwards?

Why was Han left out from the first two choruses (he didn't dance with the others)?

Why was Hyunjin's skin reacting to the atmosphere in the begging, like he is attracted to whatever was going on?

as promised, today I'm posting some of the theories related to skz lore

another achtung, this is my opinion and just assumptions based on information from different sources :з

and sorry for the mistakes <3

At the moment this is the last part of my thoughts about the new trailer. Well, at least those that I was able to put together into something unified and understandable. This time, finally, let's talk about the lore of the skz, about their "personalities" and what I suppose all this could mean for the continuation of the story.

So, we have already discussed what is shown in individual scenes and talked about references to albums. And, again, despite the fact that I have determined each of them as specific album, I cannot deny references to their other clips and comebacks. I also noted them in the first post with theories. But what does this mean for the history of the skz? There have been suggestions that this is a restart of their universe. I saw an interesting theory that this comeback is for fixing of past mistakes. And you know, these theories are INCREDIBLY interesting. Anyways I really think that this is still not a restart, but a continuation of the story.

So, what is the essence of the story, and what exactly are we continuing. Probably, you all have different knowledge of the lore of the band, as, in fact, I do, because for the most part these are all theories that have not been officially confirmed. Of course, we have all sorts of trailers like exclusive jype videos (well, like a prequel, etc.) and making film videos, thanks to which, thank God, we can find out at least some details. (As an example, a movie club drama, if there weren't making film, we wouldn't know that Seungmin and Jeongin had a fight, and Han was the cause of the accident with Lee Know, but we got distracted), but still most of the story remains for self-understending.

Crawling through YouTube, tumbler and tweeter, I came across a theory about time substitution (I didn't remember the word to describe it, if there is someone who can let me know, I will be glad ~). The theory was that the events shown in Maxident occur before the events shown in Oddinary. At the end of the Maxident, we see a kind of crime scene in which there are references to the scenes of the boys in the trailer. However, only to six. Who do you think is missing? Exactly, Felix and Jeongin.

To begin with, there are few arguments in favor of the fact that these two eras took place in the same universe.

Changbin's hand, in Oddinary he was the one who held a sign with the inscription "Free Hugs".

Of course, EVERYONE was talking about Hyunjin's apple (and if not, then yes).

Minho plays with a car toy and knocks down tin cans, the same he hits with a golf stick in Oddinary, almost blowing off the head of Lix.

Seungmin takes pictures with a bear in Maxident, in Oddinary he is a photographer, hands Felix a cake with his child's photo (children love soft toys and ride bicycles).

In the trailer itself there are spoilers to the Maxident: the time on the electronic clock is 14:03, on the mechanical 10:07 (the release date of the case).

But if we return to the theory that these events occur after, then this is not a spoiler, but a flashback or a hint. Something happened in Maxident that caused the skz to be replaced by their "evil" copies or personalities. (Honestly, there are so many different opinions about clones, but let's be honest, the only escaped clone we've seen is Jeongin. Yes, there were others in the Astronaut, but they remained in that world and did not even react to Hyunjin who came to them. In addition, I am more inclined to believe that these were not clones at all, but still their personalities from another world. And the only clone is, again, Iennie, who appeared back in the era of I am not music in the trailer). Let's return to the substitution for "evil" personalities. Do you remember "Felix never bad"? He is the only one who was not affected by what happened in Maxident (and even if we do not know what is this, it could be some kind of consequences of the battle with the Sound Monster from Noeasy. By the way, who was this monster? What if Lix from another universe, because the force with which "our" Felix repelled the attack is extremely similar to the attack itself... That could explain, why it didn't work on him). A little adjustment, the only one of the "real" skz. The second, whose traces are not at the crime scene, is Jeongin, the presumable culprit of what happened to the boys.

In Oddinary's trailers, we see Felix walking around looking for his friends.

He holds the lock in his hands all the time and constantly opens and closes it. It seems to me that the lock symbolizes their's era of that time. Before that, they had "Cle" = keys, finished it and got into a new world, they opened all the locks, each with their own key (there was also a long way, loss of keys, etc. but in the end, probably, they were all found and found their locks). And this gesture of opening and closing is a kind of sign that Felix no longer knows in which world he should look for friends. In the present, they are missing, and perhaps he is talking about going back and looking for them there. But, fortunately or unfortunately, he finds Oddinary, in which he meets the "evil" entities of his friends. Here we return again to the importance of color theory in lore. In Thunderous, we were shown that evil is red, and good (aka skz) is blue. And if you look, you will notice that Felix in Oddinary is represented in blue tones, while the rest of the guys are in red, which indicates their evil nature now. And, again, everyone except Jeongin. He is in the trailer in blue tones, the scene turns red when he enters the "territory" of Seungmin. It turns out that he did not change his character, he is "himself". Or rather, his probably evil copy initially. The others have lost their memories of their real selves, but not Jeongin, because he is already an "evil double", so his colors are different from the others.

At the end of the trailer, Hyunjin pushes Felix and he joins the "evil" personalities, becoming the same. In the new trailer for "5 star", he is the most inadequate, crazy Joker, "conductor", because he directs the group in the right direction (is it really right? quite possibly).

At the end of Oddinary's trailer, the lock, which I assume is a way of moving through the worlds, breaks, which entails the destruction of the boundary between the worlds. Therefore, in the new trailer, all past comebacks are represented by references, so the personalities of romantics and villains are mixed, which is why it is so chaotic and ambiguous. The worlds that were previously beyond a clear boundary are now mixed up, mixing the personalities of the boys. At the end of the 5-star trailer, they walk along the side of the building, buildings located perpendicular to the screen are visible in the distance. Either this is a new world formed because of everything that happened, or it is a "chaos" born because of the erased boundary between the former "lower" and "upper" worlds. And, perhaps, they will in some sense encounter their other personalities.

Thus, in a sense, they now really have the opportunity to "fix" those mistakes that they made on the way. Perhaps this is what Felix wanted, if it really happens in the end? And maybe they'll finally find the real I.N and bring him back to the family? BANG CHAN YOU'VE LOST YOUR BABY HELLO!

Sometimes when I read skzverse Twitter theories I feel like an absolute bitch at how flabbergasted I get at some Stays ideas. Like I strongly believe that the original skz verse began in Hellevator and ended with the highlight reel + some of the mvs in go live like back door and all in (and maybe scars or easy. I don't think albums as a whole post gods menu linked back to the storyline though) Besides that their has been a side universe with the mixtape tracks and the View. And yes oddinary, no easy, and maxident have their own themes but I dont consider them as whole sequential storylines like the one we saw across skz's mini albums after their debut.

Also chan has on at least 2 occasions when asked about the skzverse stated that "we use to have a storyline now we just do what we want". Or something along those lines. I'll try to find the videos. I think itd be useful also to point out that different people may define storyline differently thus leading to arguments about if skz has one or not.

Stray kids is back and so is leila with my theory on the meaning of maxident because I've seen so many stays finding definitions on urban dictionary and using them because if there's one thing you should know it's to not trust urban dictionary.

Anyway, onto the subject. So first things first maxident isn't actually a word, or at least it isn't recognised as one, much like oddinary. The main difference between oddinary and maxident is the fact that oddinary at least sounded like the word "ordinary" whilst implementing the word "odd" making it an antithesis or an oxymoron depending on who you ask.

Maxident is different in the sense that it could have multiple interpretations. The first one I thought of was taking it straight to the point and separating it into maxi-dent. "Maxi-" is a prefix meaning the most, (e.g. maximum, maximise...) and in this interpretation it would be linked with the word "dent" which can be described as a permanent thing left after a big impact. In this way, maxident would mean the biggest possible impact left on something which could be a metaphor for how much they have impacted their fans and listeners around the world, but also the industry and the course of kpop altogether.

The other theory I have doesn't seem as probably but it would more of a phonetic play on word with the "axident" which does sound like "accident". With the fact "m" is often associated with one's self (e.g. my, me...) it could be referencing someone's own accident. This would make sense with the whole crimescene at the end as a lot of criminals to claim that their crimes were in fact an accident, and in a considerable amount of cases it is partly because of that.

This would also lead into the somewhat agreed on theory that oddinary and maxident are linked (at least their trailers) and my theory is that maxident is a prequel to oddinary. This idea stems from the thing saying that each of the members represented a deadly sin (except felix) and that after that "crime" they were in fact sent to hell or something of the kind and became such a thing. This is further supported by the fact that only felix and jeongin's items couldn't be seen around the crime scene and as we know, felix was not representing anything and as for jeongin I'm not sure but this is why it's only a theory.

Also both my theories about the name can actually be linked, afterall, it could be talking about the impact left after a mistake done by someone and I think that's pretty neat. But in the meantime we'll just have to wait.

Also if maxident is in fact also a play on word then it would make noeasy, oddinary and maxident a trilogy, reminiscent of the I am and clé trilogy which if it is the case, I find pretty neat.

But yeah this was all over the place but I hoped I was clear in what I was trying to say :)

I'm here after writing a physical list of songs to reccomend!!😼 I'll start with my n.1 group, Stray Kids!! :D I started listening to them a bit over a year and a half ago but by now my life is consumed by them... 🙃

Here's my (long) list of slay songs! (Do note most of the songs I'm reccomending are very energetic because I'm more drawn to energetic songs, they have lots of songs that are calmer etc, so if you like different kinds of songs you're definitely going to be able to find loads!!)

-Thunderous (the title track, INCREDIBLE music video‼️)

-Wolfgang (the furry song of the group just like Cat & Dog is for txt👍 their kingdom performance for this is incredible)

-Cheese (song for the haters, it's about cheese though?? Love the wordplay, they're really good at creative lyrics)

-DOMINO (ayy domino😎, we never got the mv for this😔💔)

-Silent Cry (I really love this one, super pretty and cool sounding!!)

-SSick (I'm saur ssick, another banger, I love the instrumental of this lots)

-Red Lights (duet between Hyunjin and Bang Chan, the n.1 sexy song of the group)

ODDINARY:

-Charmer (SUPER banger, the instrumental is crazy good!)

-Venom (I personally think this one is underrated, they once perfirmed this with like a giant spider??? idek anymore)

-Lonely St. (just another great ass song imo💞)

-Muddy water (half the group is in this one and there's another song with the rest, I just happen to like the style of this one better, very different to most of their songs imo)

Maxident:

-Super Board (one of my absolute favorite skz songs of all time, nyoom!! cool music video👍)

-Chill (a sadder song?? on my reccomendation list?? Han Jisung loml writes the best sad songs argue with the wall)

-Taste (another sexy song, oh my god this one is crazy😵)

-Don't stop (a cute almost anime opening sounding duet with the 2 youngest, CUTE!!)

-Case 143 (silly title love song, I reccomend watching all the mvs you can find tbh, they're always really good!!)

In Life:

-Back Door (underappreciated!!!😠 slept on, why didn't people love this more, incredible choreography too!! deserves so much more)

-The Tortoise and the Hare (ages ago people had theories 3racha (the producers of the group) were drunk while making this, I think people just weren't used to songs that were 'different', honestly SUPER cool)

5-star:

-Super Bowl (cooking up a storm peace of cake‼️ this one's in english, first skz album i ever ordered btw)

-ITEM (Banger!!!!! Big Reccomend!! Cool choreography)

-Get Lit (the english translation of the korean title is "let's die" don't let that fool you though, this is a super cool song, my favorite on the album)

-Youtiful (song in english, it's about how beatiful stay (their fandom) is to them, my lovely skz😭)

Rockstar:

-Lalalala (title track of their newest album, super banger, just feel the rock!!)

-Megaverse (welcome to the stray kids hot megaverse, once again... really Really good!!)

-Comflex (my favorite from this album, you can really tell i like more energetic "quick" songs by looking at all my favorites, huh? 😅)

Other:

-God's Menu (pretty much everyone knows this one, the one that blew them up, still incredible after all these years)

-Circus (a song about the circus, goofy and silly but still super good? Love this one💞)

-Christmas EveL (christmas song? similar to Circus, goofy but unnecessarily good... Feliz Navidad Feliz Navidad, I can feel the evil coming but Felix never bad😎)

So I had a dream....

So we know that SKZ lore is based of parallel worlds, but what if the different SKZs we see here a different SKZ.

Some terms to be used

-Alternative universes: A new alternate universe is made every time there is a choice (Like if I ask you to pick a ball. An alternate universe is made for the result of each choice)

So we know Han was the first one to travel to an alternate universe(In Hellevator, he didn't want to leave his childhood and so used the Hellevator to travel to a alternate universe where SKZ doesn't grow up.

What he didn't know was he could just teleport that easily. Only Felix could do that (We can see different cases where he teleports into different universes seamlessly) In his attempt to escape his universe, he caused universes to clash into each other(When universes clash, the SKZ from a universe fall into another and either fight or work together). That's why in most MVs, there are two different SKZs, fighting each other.

Although there are many SKZs, The 4 I'll be taking about are:

-Fugitives

-School boy

-Hero

-Villain

Fugitives are the ones who escaped District 9 and on their way to find their home

Heros are the SKZ that are trying to saves the collapsing Universes from monster And/or villain SKZ

Villains are the SKZ that want revenge for the politician (Y'know that guy in Miroh and Side Effects). They fall into universes and overthrow their leader (Or rather the universe's 'District 9') This came be seen in god's menu, thunderous, back door, etc. (Random people were walking around plainly, lacking individuality. Just like SKZ before they escaped. This is what they mean by 'Straykids world domination' that's their plan.

But there are a few times Hero SKZ and Villain SKZ worked together , like in circus.

But in ODDinary, the SKZ of that universe were missing except Felix who went to look for them. They were replaced by Villain SKZ.

In Maxident, The Heros are fighting against Pipi(love monster) who was working with evil SKZ, to make Maxident SKZ lovey-dovey zombies that will stop Hero SKZ on their Behalf.

But in 5-star, There are some parallels between Maxident, so I think 5-star is what there were before Pipi. (So says aa stay theorologist on YouTube)

EIGHT TYPES OF LOVE ACCORDING TO ANCIENT GREEK

Ancient Greek society recognized that there are many kinds of love. There are eight different words for love in Greek, in fact, and defining each allows us to fully interpret the context of the love we feel for others.

Agape - Felix

Eros - Jisung

Philia - Seungmin

Philautia - Chan

Agape - Unconditional Love

First, we have agape love. This is an altruistic, selfless, unconditional love. The Greeks thought it was quite radical, perhaps because so few people seem capable of feeling it long-term.

Eros - Romanic Love

Eros is named after the Greek god of love and fertility. Therefore, it is usually associated with romantic, passionate, and physical love. It is an expression of sexual passion and desire.

The Greeks were actually quite fearful of this love, strangely enough. They thought that because human beings have an instinctual impulse to procreate, that this love was so powerful and it would result in a loss of control.

Philia - Affectionate Love

The Greeks defined this kind of love as “affectionate love” In other words, it is the kind of love that you feel for your friends.

Ironically, the ancient Greeks thought this kind of love was better than eros (sexual love), because it represented love between people who considered themselves equals.

While a lot of people associate the word “love” with romance, Plato always argued that physical attraction wasn’t necessary for love. Hence, why there are many different types of love. This type, in particular, is often referred to as “platonic” love – love without sexual acts.

Philautia - Self-love

Philautia is self-love. In our modern day society, most people associate self-love with being narcissistic, selfish, or stuck on themselves. However, this is not what the ancient Greeks meant by self-love.

Self-love is not negative or unhealthy in any way. In fact, it’s necessary to be able to give and receive love from other people. We cannot give to others what we don’t have. And if we don’t love ourselves, how can we truly love others?

Another way to look at self-love is by thinking about it as self-compassion. Just as you might show affection and love to another person, you must also show that same affection and love to yourself.

Storge - Familiar Love

Storge can be defined as “familiar love”. Although that’s a strange term, let me explain what it really means.

This type of love looks and feels a lot like philia – affectionate love felt between friends. However, this love is more like a parent-child love.

Just like philia, there is not physical or sexual attraction. But there is a strong bond, kinship, and familiarity between people.

Pragma - Enduring Love

The ancient Greeks define pragma as “enduring love”. In other words, it’s almost the opposite of eros (sexual love). Eros tends to burn out quickly because of its passion and intensity. However, pragma is a love that has matured and developed over a long period of time.

The kind of old married couples who have been together since their teenage years and still hold hands, well, that’s a great example of pragma. Unfortunately, this kind of love is somewhat rare to find – especially in society today. These days, people seem to think the grass is always greener on the other side. And therefore, they don’t have the patience or desire to watch love grow over time.

This type of love doesn’t require a lot of effort in a relationship. Both people are good at making compromises, and each of them puts in equal efforts to make the other person happy.

Ludus - Playful Love

Ludus is known as the “playful love”. However, a better way to describe it is the feeling of infatuation in the early days of romance. If you’ve been in love before, you know what I’m talking about.

It’s the butterflies in your stomach, the giddiness you feel when you see your love walk through the door, and the feeling of never wanting to be without them.

Studies show that when people are experiencing this type of love, their brain is acting much like it does if it was on cocaine. In other words, your brain is lit up and active just like someone who is literally high on a drug. It makes you feel alive and excited about life.

Mania - Obsessive Love

Mania is not necessarily a good type of love, because it is obsessive. It’s the type of love that can lead someone into madness, jealousy, or even anger. That is because the balance between eros (sexual) and ludus (playful) is terribly off.

Many people who experience this type of love suffer from low self-esteem. They fear losing the object of their love, and this fear compels them to say or do some “crazy” things in order to keep them.

If not kept under control, mania can be very destructive in some cases.
