lily be the kind of vampire to awkwardly flirt her way into acquiring your blood type and barty be the kind of shithead to laugh and mock her for it while she actively has her fangs inside him
lily as a vampire is a wonderful concept because i have trouble imagining her out of the sunshine. i think she still looks as lively & red-blooded & sunkissed as the farmers daughter she was before getting turned and it’s very dangerous.
vampire!regulus is my favorite though… that man is allergic to three different blood types and will despondently sigh after sucking someone dry because now he has a rash. he got turned in 1446 after his monastery gave shelter to a dark & mysterious stranger (he was the ambiguously homosexual spare son sacked off to go illuminate manuscripts) and he specifically was bitten because he was the only monk bitchy enough to verbally be like “hey maybe we should not give shelter to this guy his vibes are fucking terrible”. only thing he ever enjoyed in his undead life was living to see high collars & male corsets come into fashion and he’s still sopping around moping about how short-lived it was like a century later

Adam outfit layers:
Zero: Nude (fig leaf for censorship). He’s tall and has a lot of body hair. Was really fit when he was human, but has gone to seed after a millennia of wealth and power. Large gold wings. He usually lets them hang by his sides because Comfy. Halo. Generally scruffy looking.
One: undergarments. A linen shift to absorb sweat and protect the skin. Socks held up with ribbons. Leather gloves and shoes.
Two: Kirdle. A wool support garment to smooth out the lines of the outer layers. Close fitting buttoned sleeves.
Three: robe. Wool vestments with a punk rock twist to them.
Four: outer garments. An embroidered wool doublet. His Exorcist mask - the face plate lights up and is semipermeable because Angel Magic . He only takes it off when he’s sleeping.
My man is Bundled, hope it’s not too hot in heaven, otherwise he’s gonna be sweating like crazy.

Random thoughts for the day, which came to me not just because of Fire Emblem but also my own comics-
This is probably not surprising to anyone who's followed me for a while but, I really don't like the aesthetic of classic high fantasy. I'm talking like knights and elves and wizards....it's alright and I've definitely enjoyed stuff like Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age ect. but the actual settings are pretty forgettable (unless you're specifically talking about the WEIRD areas like Morrowind or the daedric realms).
I think this is because I grew up on games like Tales and Final Fantasy. These games take the tropes of high fantasy but they tend to mix in elements of lost technology, or aesthetic elements that are somewhat alien. If you've ever played Tales I'm talking about things like the dungeons within the planet in Tales of the Abyss with the floating music themed platforms, or the entire realm of Spira in FFX which is so colorful with the oddly shaped buildings, or even the way FFVII mixes things like magic and spirits with highly advanced cities.
I just think it's so much more fun when designers are able to expand their influences out past medieval Europe gray/brown colored familiar sameness. That's why I made it a point to reference Asian cultures in my own comic (and for my future project ideas I want to do stuff like turn of the century American fantasy, or Mediterranean inspired fantasy and things like that).
I think this is also why I like Awakening and Fates (and Kozaki designs in general) more than other FE settings even though the world's themselves aren't that fleshed out. They're just more interesting to look at.
Tldr: I think it's important for designers to take inspiration from reality when creating a fantasy world, but I also think it's way more effective when the push the boundaries past just making things look "realistic". I want to see more fantasy realms that are inspired by things that aren't medieval Europe, as I've said many times before. Let it be alien. Let it be anachronistic.

So I saw the D&D movie this week and I loved it as:
a child of the 80s who has watched The Princess Bride and Monty Python & the Holy Grail a lot
someone who played D&D on Saturday nights in college (yes, my friends and I were very cool, thank you)
a professional medievalism-enjoyer
Film tropes! D&D tropes! Visual and aural acknowledgement of the fact that D&D was created and is played by people who have read LOTR a lot! Also some subversion of tropes! Just... A+ work all around. Also I love knowing when the bard rolled a nat1.
But anyway what I was going to say was: how did you all (by which I mean largely @letmetellyouaboutmyfeels) convince me that the bard/paladin thing was at least canon-adjacent? How did you get there? I am... both bewildered and deeply impressed.

This is the other version of DA user Colinidas's character Priscilla/Queenie and is much closer to his vision.  Here she's more obviously a queen with her crown and robes and I may draw her as a human queen if I feel inspired.  In the meantime, check out his summary for his story Queenie of the lamp to know what these characters are about: https://www.deviantart.com/colinidas/art/Don-Bluth-s-Queenie-Of-The-Lamp-1032080511
Both of these characters belong to Deviantart user Colinidas.
As always, comments and critiques are welcome.
