Read a Book Mentioned in Another Book: #TalesOfBeedleTheBard by @officialjkrowling (the Harry Potter series was alluded to in a book I read a week or two ago) 6. Today's July 13th tasks for #jcfjuly and the @deweysreadathon #deweyjuly #reversereadathon countdown photo challenge go quite nicely together. 😊😍❤ . . . . For #deweyjuly, the task is to share my #ReadingBuddy. My reading buddy is in around 95% of my photos (possibly more?), so that wasn't much of a challenge. BUT. . . I got him to look at me for today's photo! Well, he's looking my way, at least. 😉🤣😍❤ . . . . And today's July 13th #jcfjuly task is to share #contempvsfantasy. You'd think that I would be firmly in the Fantasy camp, if you know me at all. But my most favorite books include three contemporary romances and two books of fantasy-romance novellas. 😄❤ . . . . Granted, the H in Absolutely, Positively by Jayne Ann Krentz is a psychic - very reluctant, but psychic - so it was never a pure contemporary. 😊 . . . . Pictured I have books by four of my top five favorite authors. Three are contemporary books, five are fantasy books. I do love some contemporaries, but I think I'm pretty firmly on Fantasy's side in a debate with Contemporary stories. ❤ . . . . After all, I can't even begin to guess the number of Fantasy authors I have in my personal collection or that I've read. On Contemporary's side, in recent years I think I've purchased maybe seven authors' books? Less than 10, I'm pretty certain. In fact, I can only think of seven names.
