just a question cause im a singlet, what are modifiers, subsys and layers?

Modifiers are things like "Fictive", "Introject", "Brainmade", "Fragment" or anything else that describes a specific alter Subsystems are parts of the system that are separate in some way from the rest of the system, often times its used for whenever an alter has a ton of their own splits off themself

Layers are different groupings of alters within systems, especially whenever that person has an excess of them!

I finally have a fursona! this cuddly amalgamonster was made by blending the top four results of a tumblr poll (of a shortlist of suggestions from my followers as to what creature I would be) -important to note this creature has Gonzo Eyes. yeah.

as a persona I actually think it resembles me better than anything I've ever come up with myself! I love them! thanks to everyone who contributed ideas I had a lovely time drawing this and I may well do more with them in the future!

these are the things that inspired the outfit! I wear a lot of teal and pink, especially the coat on the right, and I wear ribbons in most of my shoes so that's why my antlers have ribbons on them! I have also never worn matching socks since I left school, hence the spats. I am glad you all enjoy this wiggly creature I had a great time here :D

I have an OC who has a special interest in seals and I struggle with researching due to neurodivergency, what are some random seals facts and lingo?

The pinniped family (true seals, eared seals and walruses) is named so because of their fins (pinnipoda - fin-footed)

Seals' hind flippers aren't a tail, but rather feet. Their tail is a little stub inbetween

Male elephant seals are called bulls, and female elephant seals are called cows

A possible last common ancestor of pinnipeds, Enaliarctos, was closely related to mustelids and bears

Baikal seals and Caspian seals are some of the smallest seal species
