i have so many passionate feelings about zhongli’s wrists and arms and i feel if i don’t say anything ill shrivel up and die anyway

Anyway here are my own personal thoughts cause its not good to keep your feelings bottled up you risk dying

anyway i love the gold i love the black, i love the gold veins and i love the black geo hands encrusted with gold cracks, i love the transition from gold to black

i always imaged a transition from human zhongli to his dragon adepti form. Like he starts off with gold veins then his hands turn gold then the rest of his arms turn black. Since the now exuvia has dark scales and a golden mane, as he transformed the black would turn into scales all over his body like across his torso, before the rest of his draconian appendages pop out, his tails his horns, but his head and feet are the last to change and then poof you have dragon morax.

Zhongli's gold has always been one of my favorite parts about him specifically his arms, like i love sleeveless outfits so when he showed up kind of swooned. I always kind of imaged that Zhongli's current vessels are forged from geo itself so if you were to cut him open all his black and gold elemental exterior would kind of drip out.

anyway personal favorite is the huge geo hands that surround him in the liyue cutscenes. I love the imagery of his "own" hands encasing him and holding him up before the world.

zhongli's pretty conservative except his archon statue displayed all over the nation for some reason but dont get me started on his body. i never felt that the gold was only on his arms i fully believe that is all over his torso like listen to me listen to me look at the exuvia look at zhongli now look back at the evuvia i want you to go through the aforementioned transformation steps i just mentioned and then walk with me, his entire chest can be gold and black and shit that is what i believe and that is the truth because i am never wrong and zhongli whispered it into my ear after we spent a passionate night together anway

when it comes to his wrists i believe his just controls how much it glows and how much power he displays. I have said this before sometimes his hands are black sometimes theyre gold and we've seen zhongli's wrists before and sometimes theyre pale and sometimes they go all the way up his foream so i really think he just fucks with it. Like Morax Mode he is loaded up with geo elemantal energy he's black and gold all over but in a casual setting only traces of gold remain

anyway i just wanted to talk about it and i felt letting myself fester with this deep and fervent lust and longing was only going to make me unwell LIKE CAN YOU IMAGINE THE BLACK TURNING TO SCALES WHEN HE GETS SERIOUS THINK ABOUT IT THATS SO COOL

but zhongli wants to be a little pampered princess consultant so one can only imagine what the rest of his body looks like all we see are his silly feeties and his hands and wrist i feel like a victorian man seeing a woman's ankle like kya kee scandal this is a man in the most prudish outfit ever like he got that shit on permanently which in reality only begs the question of why his archon statue is like that when zhongli himself is always fully fucking covered why were you half naked his nipples are out and everything?

tldr: i think zhongli's whole body glows black and gold like everything glows only his extremities like his head and feet are spared but hes a natural shapeshifter so he probably does whatever i just really live glowing appendages

“Zhongli!” you called for your boyfriend. You watched him grab a book as he walked out from his study

 “I’m coming, darling.” He replied softly, placing a hand on your back as you walked out the front door. Today, you decided to have Zhongli go out with you. And what better time to go out than a nice day of spring?

It was beautiful, and just past Liyue Harbor, if you follow the path, was an amazing spot to sit under a tree with a nice light there. It looked beautiful, and gave an amazing view of Liyue Harbor around sunset.

Speaking of sunset, what better time was there to go than sunset? When the fireflies start to come out one by one, the air gets just the right amount of humid and comfortable. It was just about 18:09 / 6:09pm when you got to the area. You noticed Zhongli stopped for a minute, looking to his side.

“Zhongli? What is it?” you asked, setting the basket you’d brought with you on the ground for a minute.

“Nothing,” he began. “Just admiring the lights is all.” he assured.

You hummed, “Beautiful, aren’t they?” you watched him nod. Walking to him, you put a hand on his shoulder, “This beautiful city is what you created.” He looked at you with a slight smile, eyes softening at your statement.

“Let’s sit and watch the sunset.” he suggested after giving a slight kiss on your forehead. Humming, you agreed, and sat with him under the tree, every once in a while climbing onto it out of fun.

You picked a sweet flower you found beside you, quietly tucking it into his hair. “There,” you said in a triumphant tone, walking to grab another on the other side of the trail. “Now we’re matching.”

You watched him chuckle a little, having another cherry. “I must be but so blessed to match with someone as interesting as you.” 

Eventually, the night came and there were barely any lights to be seen at Liyue, the only light were the scarce fireflies and the street lights following the path to Liyue Harbor. Very few people were awake. Which meant, it was about time you and Zhongli packed up and went home.

Though, knowing Zhongli, he always had to have his moment.

As you picked up the basket, Zhongli’s coat around your shoulders, you turned to see if he was ready to go.

And what do you see?

Him on one knee, smiling quietly. “Zhongli?” you questioned him, watching as he brought out a beautiful ring.

“May I have your hand in marriage, darling?” he asked sweetly.

Nodding, you say yes, allowing him to take your hand, sliding the ring on your ring finger. Standing, he takes you into his arms and hugs you. “Thank you, darling.”

A Brother| Chapter 1

It was 12’ noon at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor in Liyue. Hu tao, the owner of the Wangsheng Parlor, was doing her dutys. Checking for service, polishing the coffins, ect. Zhongli, Hu Tao’s employee, walks through the door.

“Miss Hu Tao, the supplies have been ordered” Zhongli says in a smooth and calm tone.

Zhongli was a tall man that stood at about 6’2, dark brown hair fading to a ember color. He had Ember eyes the color of Geo. He was in his late 20s

“Thanks Mr. Zhongli!” Hu Tao said preppy as always.

Hu Tao was a young girl, she was about 5’6. she had long brown hair that faded to red in low pig tails. She had Orange Red eyes. She was in her early 20s.

“Uh, is Miss Hu Tao here?” A man asked.

“Thats me! Do you have a new client?” Hu Tao asked eyes sparkling.

“Uhm..No you have a letter..” The postman said nervously.

“Aww, thats good to I guess” Hu Tao grabbed the letter out of the postmans hand. The Postman bolted out the door.

Hu tao became quiet as she read the letter. Her mouth open agape.

“Miss, Hu tao..is everything ok?” Zhongli asked worried for his boss.

“He’s coming home…” Hu Tao said her voice a gentle whisper.

“What was that?” Zhongli asked raising an eyebrow.

“He’s Coming Home!!! Can you believe that!!! After 5 years of him going around Tyvet hes coming to Liyue!!!” Hu Tao beamed jumping around the office.

“It sounds like wonderful news, but who exactly?” Zhongli asked, crossing his arms.

“My older brother, Y/n!” Hu tao beamed as she showed Zhongli the letter.

“Dear Hu Tao,

Apologies for the late letter, ive been busy these past few weeks. But I decided im finally coming home. By the time you get this ill be already on mu way home.”

Zhongli read the letter carefully.

“That must be exciting” Zhongli voice was gentle but it was hinted with some curiosity.

Hu tao nodded happily.

“Oooo! I should make him his favorite dish! Mushroom pizza!” Hu tao gushed.

“That sounds nice, but we still have work to do” Zhongli sighed.

“Hehe oh right” Hu tao chuckled nervously.

It was now 4’ noon, Hu tao went out to pass out flyers, which was a weird way to spread the palor but it works.

Zhongli was at the desk, checking schedules, writing notes, ect. Foot steps were heard and stopped in front of Zhongli.

Zhongli’s head trailed up and a unfamiliar but similar man looked at Zhongli.

The man stood around 5’8, he had brown fading to red hair, he had similar flowerly red orange eyes. He had clear eye bags and his eyes were dull.

“Hello, welcome to Wangshen Funeral Palor” Zhongli said with a smile.

“Wheres Hu tao?” The male asked almost in a demanding tone.

Zhongli’s eye brow furrowed.

“She is out right now, but I can help you” Zhongli said keeping up the calm tone.

“No, I’ll just wait for to be back.” The male mumbled standing of to the side.

Zhongli was about to say something on how she was out, again.

“Y/n!?” Hu Tao was standing in the door way with a huge smile.

“There you are” The Male now known as Y/n stood up properly.

Hu tao ran and jumped into the males arms.

“Its sooo good to see you again!” Hu Tao laughed.

Zhongli watched with confusion, the same man who seemed so dull just a minute ago now, seemingly full of life.

“Oo! Right Y/n! This is Zhongli, my employee!” Hu Tao let go of the male and turned to Zhongli.

“Hu tao getting help, thats something i’d never expect from Miss. ‘im going to do everything myself’” Y/n chuckled his voice soft when talking about his sister.

“Hey! Give me a break I was 6!” Hu Tao huffed playfuly.

“It wonderful to meet you Mr. Y/n” Zhongli said in a well matter tone despite their first meeting.

“Just Call me Y/n, I don’t do that fancy Mr and Misses talk” Y/n scratched the back of his neck.

“Hey Zhongli can you close up? I want to take my brother to dinner before taking him to the inn, though he could just stay with me” Hu Tao huffed.

“Hu, as your brother i’m going to say this in the nicest way possible, your sleep walking makes it very hard to sleep cause you would just stare at me” Y/n stiffled a laugh remembering waking up to hu tao in his face as a kid.

“I’m not that bad! anymore” Hu tao mumbled the last bit.

Zhongli had to admit it was quite the show to watch the siblings banter.

“I’ll close up you go enjoy your dinner.” Zhongli said with a slight bow.

“Thank you! Come on Y/n theres this great place..” Hu tao and Y/n slowly faded as they left.

Zhongli began straighting up for the night.

It was now 9’10 at night Hu Tao was walking with Y/n to the Wangshu Inn.

“Theres an adeptus staying at the Wangshu Inn, Xiao maybe you’ll meet him!” Hu tao burst with excitement.

“Mm, I doubt it, I heard Adetus can be pretty private, unless he thinks I’m a threat then maybe” Y/n look to the side.

“You? A threat? Pffft- People would be crazy to think you would do harm” Hu Tao started to laugh.

‘Its best she doesnt know then’ Y/n thought as they got to the Inn.

“Room under Y/n” Y/n spoke to the lady at the desk.

The lady nods “here your key, room is up the stairs and to the right”.

“Thank you” Y/n slightly bowed his head and turned to hug his sister. “I’ll be over once I get up” Y/n smiled.

“Okay! I’ll probably be at the palor but I wont be free till 2 so go look around Liyue! Theres so much to see!” Hu Tao smiled brightly.

Y/n chuckled and nodded before waving goodbye and heading to his room. Y/n shut the door before letting out a deep breath he didn’t know he was holding in. Y/n looked at this hand, a faint red mark layed in his palm. He closed it.

Y/n saw the bathroom and thought a nice warm show would clear his head.

By the time he got out it was around 10’. Had he been in there that long? Y/n thought still lingered so he walked out of his room quietly. He headed up the second pair of stairs to the deck.

He got to the rail and stared for a bit, thoughts that lingered slowly left as Y/n got comfort from the outside air. That was intill he felt a pair of eyes staring at him from the roof. Y/n turned around and looked up to fine, no one. Y/n turned back and gazed over the field, it felt so familiar but so different.

It was late so with one last deep breath Y/n wondered back to his room feeling the same stare on his back once more. Once his head hit the pillow he fell asleep.

“Y/n?” A young girl called out. “Whats going on?” The girl asked as she watched the flames of there old town dance. Y/n just stood watching there whole life burning.

it was newly december, and zhongli couldn’t help but end up being in love with the simple things of life. he’s the type of person that will have the sweetest ideas, things that some would cringe at. not that he’d ever care, but he just found the idea so sweet, and he loved the fact that he could experience such sweet things with the one person he loves. he never cared much about the extravagant gifts, and spending a good thousand or so on something you’re probably only going to wear once or twice, and keep away to ensure it doesn’t get messy. he’d rather make memories than buy them, and it was the most amazing thing you could ever think of. not to say he wouldn’t, but he loved the idea of doing things with you physically rather than giving. and hearing him talk about it? it was amazing. the man who once used to be so closed up and composed turned into a mushy marshmallow with only the best of intentions.

going out and seeing the trees now bare, some still hanging onto few leaves for dear life. the way the cool air feels against your skin, sending shivers throughout your body as you quickly reached for his hand for some form of warmth as you approached a coffee shop nearby. he absolutely adored the idea of taking you out for a date around sun down, then going out to see a movie and going home to rest. once waking up, you go into the kitchen to see him cooking breakfast. “good morning, my love.” he’d say, pulling a white pristine plate from the cabinet above a counter top. “hungry any?”

thats something he’d want to do with you. in his eyes, it was amazing. and honestly, it was beautiful in your point of view.
