I'd like to talk about Narile. She's a Dunmer OC from my story and is Lydia's wife.

67--The worst injury she has ever gotten was a beating from her own family. :( Narile ran from her family because they wouldn't accept her for who she was. Her family has a certain political standing in Morrowind and tried to marry her off to a "nice" man. She refused and they "insisted. Shortly after that, she ran away in the night until she got to Windhelm.

78--Well, based on the last question...yes. She would have chosen to be born into a different family who accepted her for who she was. She was absolutely devastated by the whole ordeal. (She had never thought that they would have resulted to violence.)

She has a sad past, but she has a very happy present.

How do Lydia and Narile spend their free time when Lydia isn't housecarl-ing and Narile isn't cooking?

I'd like to think they spend quiet evenings in Hjerim together talking about this and that or doing a project together. Maybe Lydia is polishing her swords and Narile is sewing something.

I could also see Narile trying to teach Lydia to sew and it going poorly, but they have a good time regardless.
