Also I have to confess when Eichi does the the "I've heard usually people do this and this" or anything in that vein as a statement it's so real to me
#speaking as someone who learned most of their way of existing from tv and movies ans audio books and audio dramas.#I wasn't confined to a hospital bed I was just very enamored with movies and TV shows and audio dramas#and never really interested in interacting with other kids#and I'm an only child#and my social life began around this winter when people started celebrating their birthdays and inviting me and hanging out and inviting me#before that I never did anything with my friend acquaintances#We're too close to be acquaintances but i don't like labeling people as friends it puts an obligation on the relationship#there's one of them i genuinely consider a friend but we mostly talk about our interests and that's where it stops#she's the only one I talk with outside of the shared WhatsApp chat and ever since her number one friend found another number one friend#We've started talking more because what else am I supposed to do#it's nice. I'm a tea drinker now.#somewhat#in movies they always have bigger friend groups but i cant manage that many relationships at once#so it's better if I reserve the term friend for people who I actually talk to outside of certain contexts#but yeah it's so interesting when life imitates art#teenagers are supposed to get drunk right recently I accidentally got drunk enough to deliver the finishing blow to an already weak glass#never doing that again imagine the things I could've revealed about myself#but it's a fascinating experience because now I can look at that in fiction and understand!!#and I've been told I'm a bit cartoonish in the way I carry myself#which is a little funny to me because I as a person am pretty apathetic to a Lot of things#few things that make me happy a lot of things that annoy me and the rest is jusg kind of in the soup#but it's fine rhats just what being normal is like i guess#i should sleep it's lateeeeee and I need to get up early tomorrow.#regrettably#enjoy the tags while you still can because those things will be going down with this post in a few hours when I'm awake again and#less uncomfortable with sharing any kind of personal information

Highly considering doing a Seven Deadly Sins rewrite myself bc man there's so much missed potential and honestly a lot of things that don't make sense or haven't been gone over enough-
My biggest gripe being the Goddess race, we barely know anything about them, the archangels were said to be oh-so-strong but 3 of them died not to long after being introduced- And my biggest gripe is that the author definitely pulled that "Bloody Ellie" thing out of his ass during the fight with Demon King Zeldris.
Like man, even the Demon race feels so lacklustre..
Oh! And don't get me started on Chaos!! Especially since its literally the entity that gets put into Arthur who's the main antagonist and villain of the sequel series!!!
Like, I'm pretty sure we don't know about chaos until it's actually revealed,,
Like in my mind, if I was to add/redo things- One of the things I'd do is make the Supreme Deity into a religious figure, being praised as the "Benevolent Goddess" among humans, setting up basically a religion- And maybe this could stem into the magic, such as human believing that the magic they hold was a blessing of the Supreme Deity.
And maybe also set up a clearer hierarchy system among the Goddess and Demon race.
I just want the Goddess race and Supreme Deity herself to play a bigger role cause man I don't really like how she was defeated within like the final 20 minutes of that one film.
Because I think it'd be so interesting to have humans actively worshiping the Goddess race, specifically dedicated to the Supreme Deity and the archangels.
Also, I'd have Chaos introduced a lot earlier- who knows, maybe I could throw in like a group that are worshippers of Chaos.
Tbh I'm just spit balling but it's mostly bc I'm so frustrated at simply how bad the author is at writing- Cause I feel like a lot of the time, he throws in ideas just because he thinks it's cool and doesn't elaborate and explore said ideas.
As I mentioned earlier, the whole "Bloody Ellie" thing ( a character who was established a pacifist in the Gloxinia + Drole flashbacks thing) as well the thing with Helbram where he talked about how fairies were captured and had their wings torn out (I believe we never hear anything about it again after Helbram tells us it), honestly many things.
Also, I just thought of another thing I'd change- Instead of having Derieri, Tarmiel and Sariel die useless deaths, I feel like we could've had Ludociel fight Esta/Mael when the Mael reveal happened bc I feel that would've been so much more impactful-
Because imagine, Ludociel finally fights the person who he thought "killed" his brother and before he goes for the finishing blow, the spell corrodes away and Ludociel is left with the shock and horror that he nearly killed his own brother.
And one more thing or else I'll be ranting forever, have Meliodas' and Elizabeth's relationship questioned and have them actually have to go through challenges
Have people question as to whether or not it was their relationship that trigger started the holy war, have other characters question the way he acts towards current Elizabeth, have Elizabeth have questions herself and wonder if the war was worth it- Let them have arguments!!
I think the only one they technically had was when Elizabeth wanted to rejoin the adventure at the start of season 2 if my memory serves me right.
But yeah.
It's just those little tweaks and add-ins that really begin to flesh it out to its potential, imo.
Anyway, rant over before I continue ranting up to 30k+ words more.

His favorite Girl <3
Tumblr media
Prologue
It's 8 am exactly when I open the door to English class. "You're late", the teacher scoffs and I throw my hands up in surrender. There's no way I'm getting detention again for defending myself. 'Just roll your eyes and let him have this one' I tell myself as I basically run to my chair to sit, placing my books on the desk. I sling my backpack on the back of the seat and get a quick glimpse over my shoulder of Stu Macher. He's wearing a yellow knitted sweater with visible tears around the collar, with a white shirt underneath. His left hand is decorated with silver rings while his right is completely bare. He's dwindling with his pencil in his left while his right gently taps his knee. His cargo pants are a darker shade of olive and his black boots were definitely meant to be a statement piece, as he taps his right foot on the ground repetitively. He's loudly listening to Slipknot in his headphones while he gently bumps his head to the base mouthing a few words, I watch him discreetly, smirking as I witness his dimples make a few appearances effortlessly. I turn away quickly before our eyes meet but I let my ears listen to what he is, "Killers are quite". It's one of my favorite songs off their album "Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat" and I can't help but smirk to myself. As the teacher begins the class, I open my notebook to doodle in the meantime, scribbling some Mrs.Macher(s) here and there before beginning to copy the notes on the chalkboard. I rest my elbow on the desk and hold my head up with my hand sighing. Ugh, I could've swore he went over this last week. I turn subtly to get a glimpse of Stu again. I hate that his seats behind me. Whenever I need a little break from boredom in class, staring at his features was always entertaining. Those piercing blue eyes, dimples that would penetrate his cheeks, a smile so big you couldn't help but not smile too. His 6'4 lanky frame, he towered over everyone he approached, those long fingers he'd sometimes decorate with rings. The back of them were so veiny, and whenever I'd catch a glimpse of him pulling his sleeves back, I could see the veins trail up his arm perfectly. He always almost hid his frame but you could tell he was toned underneath the sweaters and baggy shirts. I began to fantasize about what underneath his shirt would reveal and it was hard to not get lost in the fantasy of Stu Machers possibly but most likely 8 inch penis. How girthy it'd be, would it be veiny? Would there be a curve? How well would he know how to use it? Where did he learn how to use it? At this point, I'm getting ahead of myself, but it's hard not to. I feel my face beginning to heat up as I bite my lip, imagining all the different things he'd do to me. Missionary? Doggy? Ugh, just imagining straddling him as he aggressively just pou-wait... is he staring back at me? Wait, am I starring at him? Have I been this whole time? Fuck fuck FUCK! I quickly avert my eyes as I feel my face burst with heat. I know he can see how red my cheeks are from his seat which makes them burn even more. I cover my face, acting as if I'm just resting my head in the palm of my hand again. I didn't look behind me for the rest of the class, but I swear I could feel someone burning holes into the back of my head.
////////////////////////
The bell finally rings, and I quickly close my notebook and gather all my textbooks and school supplies. My face is most likely still bloodshot red from the trauma of Stu Macher finally catching me staring him down like a creep for god knows how long. Stu Macher was completely out of my league. I'm 4'11, with a warm olive skin tone and freckles that decorate my entire face. My eyebrows are bushy and never tamed, my hair is rarely washed therefore it's always in an updo. My glasses are way too big for my face and my dad would never let me dress like Tatum, so unfortunately, I'm stuck with wearing my older sisters hand me downs which entailed to overalls, long skirts, sweats, mom jeans, baggy sweaters, oversized hoodies and loose shirts. Anything possible that could hide my already small but chunky frame. I tuck a loose strand of hair behind my ear as I stand up, slugging my backpack over my shoulder, exiting the class. I'm completely avoiding anything in his direction in fear he's already looking at me in disgust. But to my disbelief, a hand appears on my right shoulder as I reach the doorway. It almost startles me, and I jump slightly. "Woah, a little jumpy there huh?" He teases me as he looks down at me and it makes me completely flustered. "It's me Stu, you know me, right?" His face forms a grin and I blush profusely as I quickly nod, pursing my lips together and looking away from his gaze. He turns to face me and begins to walk backwards besides me "You're y/n right? A few buddies of mine let me know you're the Woodsboro hookup for all and every homework assignment possible. " He says, scanning me up and down, never looking behind him to see if any traffic is headed his way. Every student that passes him makes a note to barely graze him. His grin is spread from ear to ear and I look down as I barely mumble, "What do you need help with?"
"Small voice for a small girl huh?" He quickly lifts his brows and winks at me before continuing, "I need your help with algebra..." he says as he playfully face palms himself and sticks his tongue out, "Of course right?" He says as he laughs at himself. He faces forward and begins to walk besides me normally. "And...maybe English but I'll have to get back to you with that one." He points at me while crinkling his face with uncertainty, then stands in front of me, completely blocking my path and I almost collide into him, but he grabs my shoulders before I can and looks down at me, with the biggest puppy dog eyes I've ever seen. His sharp blue eyes penetrate my dark green ones and I almost feel helpless. "You got me, right y/n?" He says, tilting his head a little to the right. My eyes are darting every which way to avoid his, I stick to looking down and I gently nod. He burst into excitement and makes a "cha-ching" motion with his hands, before quickly bending down to bear hug me. The only thing I can do is stand there in complete and utter shock from the amount of physical contact we've had in the last 4 minutes, and probably the most I'll ever have with him for the rest of the school year. I already know my face is blood shot red because as he's walking away he says, "Thanks, I'll see you at your locker after lunch, okay! And take off that sweater man, you look real real hot." He burst into laughter before he takes off running down the hallway. Everyone steps out of his way as he laughs manically, cutting the corner sharply. I'm still stuck in the place he left me at, I'd probably stand there all day if people hadn't started bumping into me to get to their classes. "Get out of the way, sheesh" I hear someone mutter as they brush past me, and it completely snaps me out of his trance. I push my glasses farther up my nose before tucking the loose strands of hair behind my ear, blinking rapidly as I join the crowd of students in the hallway treading dreadfully to their next destinations. Holy shit, what the fuck just happened? I can't believe Stu Macher just spoke to me, not even, h-he touched me, h-he hugged me. Jesus...and all you did y/n is stand there awkwardly? I wasn't even laughing at his jokes, I didn't even hug him back! Urgh! I mentally face palm myself as I reach my locker. I headbutt my locker gently as I look down at the floor, shaking my head. How much of a loser could I be right now? He tried to make me laugh at least 3 times and I just sat there like a Dimwit looking down. How could I not hug him? How could- I lose my train of thought as I begin to smell something. It's a musk that comes over me, it's a hint of marijuana with something else. Almost earthy, very vetiver. I look down at my shirt before grabbing the collar to lift to my nose. I inhale deeply and close my eyes as I let his smell wash over me, as I let it take me somewhere calming, and it does. I let go of my collar before opening my eyes, fixating it on my locker combination, completely relaxed. Well, at least I have another chance to fix it. I'm seeing him after school today, aren't I? I can't screw it up this time. . I have to talk to him, I have to try and tell him how I've always felt. God, I mean why do I have to be such a pussy? There's literally nothing that's stop- my thoughts come to a screeching halt as I watch Tatum Riley walk past me in the hallway. Her hair flows in the wind as her hips sway from left to right gracefully, her black chunky sandals drawing everyones attention to her and I know she loves it too, attention whore. She's walking around the hallways in the shortest plaid skirt she could find and a fitted long sleeve turtleneck. Popping her gum in a frenzy and my insides cringe. What does Stu even see in her? I roll my eyes as I grab a few textbooks from my locker and close it. Fuck Tatum Riley, it's my turn to be Stu Machers "Favorite Girl."

a/n: I only technically lied about the release date. Yes, I said Saturday but I also said the 18th which is today for me still, so it’s fine! I hope I made the wait worth it for anyone interested and for everyone else, voila
Relationships aren't meant to have secrets. Felix technically has several but he keeps them under wraps. The most damning one... one that he would never reveal except under the direst of circumstances. The other ones are far less destructive but are arguably more embarrassing.
You live in blissful ignorance of all of these, at least for now. Until Felix decides he should tell you something, considering how often he thinks about them. So one day you walk into your shared bedroom with Felix he's wearing a short, blue skirt. Your face is neither positive nor negative and Felix spins, skirt flaring, staring downwards still.
"And what's the occasion here, darling?" You question.
Felix makes a confused noise in his throat and looks up to you just a little more.
"Why have I received such a beautiful gift today? You look amazing, Fe."
Felix leans forward to kiss your nose and giggles when your hands roam under the skirt and squeeze his cheeks.
"I've wanted to wear a skirt in the bedroom for a while, but wasn't really sure how you'd react."
"Awwww baby, never be worried about anything like this. I might be confused but I love you so I'll never react badly."
Your comforting words are genuine and Felix wonders how far they truly reach. Would you say the same if he wanted to have a threesome with one of his closest friends? Or said he had a crush on, was practically halfway in love with, said friend? It's not what tonight is about and the thoughts fade when your lips connect.
You're so, so gentle with him and Felix sinks into you. Felix's wandering hands spur your own and suddenly it's like you're horny teenagers again that can't get enough of each other. Your hand slips back under the skirt and the easy access is fun, especially if he plans to wear nothing under it like he is now. Easy access to start jerking him off, and you happily do so, keeping your mouth pressed against his.
Even with the anxiety Felix must have been imagining a number of situations with how hard he is in your hand. A sigh leaves his mouth as he rests his head on your shoulder. With one bite in your neck and only one sentence all of the power in the situation flows back to him.
"I want you to sit on my face and then ride me, doll."
Any stress you may have had is gone after that.
Similar situations happen several more times over the next few months. Felix either has a skirt on and is obviously wearing nothing under it. Or he changes into a skirt with nothing under it when it’s clear you’re going farther tonight. Each time you’re caught a little off guard by how truly pretty he is. Lee Felix is sunshine, rainbows, and starlight of course but it’s like the skirt gives him a little extra confidence to shine brighter for you.
So one hurdle down, only two more to go, great. Felix has never been so glad to have incognito mode with the number of phrases he googles related to 'how to bring up wanting a threesome with your significant other.'
It's honestly not that useful, as the so-called advice was generic things he could've gotten from anyone. 'Trust them and they'll trust you' or 'do it with someone you both trust' like thanks he knows all of this already.
Your next take-out dinner and movie night brings some strange behaviour from Felix. He's quiet where normally he'd be commenting on these extraordinarily stupid characters. When one of them completely ignores the obvious thing and Felix doesn't react in the slightest you know he's not paying attention at all.
He certainly pays attention when you stop the movie and straddle his lap. Your hands cup his face and your forehead rests on his while your eyes meet.
"What's on your mind, Pixie? Don't try to avoid it either, I know."
Your gentle compassion almost makes Felix want to spill everything. It all bubbles up to the tip of his tongue but then he thinks of the possible disgust or heartbreak and pushes most of it back down.
"You know how you said I don't have to be uncomfortable bringing up anything about... bedroom life?"
You giggle at the euphemism and how adorably shy Felix gets about it when not in the act. Regardless, a hum of assent vibrates your throat.
"I've been thinking about having a threesome." He blurts then squeezes his eyes shut, not allowing your reaction to reach his eyes.
The small boop your finger leaves on his nose leads him to open his eyes. Nothing about your expression is negative and you look at him as fondly as ever.
"Do you-"
"Chan."
A bright, fond laugh bubbles over your lips.
"Sorry love, you just answered so quickly. Sure, we both trust him. We can talk to him about it and... arrange a day."
Arrange sounds more formal than you intend but that's what it is. With the weight off of his mind, Felix is able to make fun of the new characters not seeing the plot right in front of them.
Chan knows this is a bad idea, he even cares that it's a bad idea, and yet he agrees. Backing out at any time is always an option, neither of you will be mad. It doesn't matter because he won't. Even if it hurts he will take the one chance he may ever get to screw around with both of his crushes.
There was no pretense of a normal hangout. You texted Chan that you wanted to talk about something. When you all sit down Felix ends up doing the talking about it since it was his idea in the first place. You both want to have a threesome with him.
It takes all of Chan's willpower not to coo at the blush that spreads across Felix’s face and ears. Also, a significant amount of brainpower to agree with the right amount of excitement. Not too little that you think he's unsure or doesn't want it wholeheartedly. But not too much that you are suspicious about any underlying feelings or motives he could have.
Really, you're just thinking about your boyfriend and how cute he is. Not anything against Chan but you love Felix with every cell in your body and it pours out of you often. He can see it from a mile away and doesn’t mind because he’d love to be doing the same thing. Looking at Felix with all the fondness in the world that lets each side know that everything’s going to be ok. But alas, a threesome will have to do for now. Or forever, honestly.
Then the fun part of it comes: interests. What does Chan have that he likes to do, and would like to do with you. Vice versa, what are you comfortable with and want to do with a sudden, if trusted, third-person present.
"I'm wearing a skirt," Felix says.
You smile at how easily he's able to say it, a stark contrast to before. You know that it will give the same confidence on the day of all of this as well. Surprise flits over Chan’s face but he just nods and doesn’t say anything more.
"I want to dominate both of you." Chan brings it up first, any type of power play and dynamics.
You and Felix look at each other then back at him and both nod excitedly. Chan already has strong leadership qualities, especially around all of the boys so really this makes sense. It will be very attractive for him to be giving you full orders and expecting them to be followed. Even thinking about it makes your brain work overtime and you have to physically shake yourself out of it.
"Felix and I… we'll just see how it works out. But we’ll both listen to you, for sure. Sound good?"
You have to check with Chan if he's going to be in charge of both of you. A quick look between both of you and then he nods.
A moment goes by and you look at Felix with a smirk on your face. He frantically shakes his head before you turn back to a visibly confused Chan.
"Felix over here has a strength kink. Wants someone to manhandle him a bit." You drawl and Felix doesn't even mock tackle you.
"Yeah, well you have a size kink! Wanting someone to look down at you and hands fitting around your limbs."
Felix sticks his tongue out at you as you feel your cheeks heat up to the temperature of the sun. Perhaps Chan fits you better than first anticipated. Strength and size in one, not to mention some other interests he slots right into.
"Any kinks you both have and aren't about to expose to me?"
You and Felix easily speak in unison.
"Praise and hands."
The moment you say that Chan reaches his hands out and lays them vertically so you can see the incredibly veiny backs. Imagining those fingers in any of your wet holes has you readjusting your legs and you can hear Felix do the same next to you.
Felix clears his throat in an obvious attempt to quickly move along from that.
"Anything you have in mind, Channie?"
The nickname is affectionate and if you didn't know better you'd think the tips of Chan's ears are flushed under his curls.
"Praise for me is good, no matter who’s giving or receiving it. I like nicknames or pet names, titles as well."
When it becomes clear Chan isn't elaborating you both lean forward in a clear gesture for him to continue.
"Ok. Baby, bunny, angel, beautiful. For myself? I dunno, choose some. Particular titles especially."
You all have flushed cheeks as this is becoming a reality, hearing Chan say these things out loud. Hopefully, you'll both be saying some of them as well. One title sticks in your mind and you’ll just have to test whether he’s into that or not.
"Safewords." You state and both men nod. "We use the colour system generally. Green, yellow, red.”
"Sure," Chan easily agrees. It only slightly surprises you that he knows, and has probably used that exact safeword system before.
You lean forward to rest your cheek on your palm.
"I mean... I think that's everything? We can have a phone call or hangout if there's anything else."
Okay but... when? When are we gonna do this?" Felix points out.
It had gotten lost in actually arranging but the goal of this was actually enacting it all so that fact was a bit important.
"Like 2 weeks from now?" Chan says.
You consider it, a fair amount of time to go but not too far either. Enough time to mentally prepare but not to freak out fully and leave the country. You look at Chan then Felix who voices his agreement.
"Alright then, Saturday in 2 weeks. Come over for dinner, Chan. We can ease into it that way."
You stand and Felix follows. Heading to the door you both give Chan a hug, Felix longer and tighter than yours as usual.
You step out and turn around to face Chan again.
"See you later, daddy." You wink.
Felix purposefully makes his voice lower and repeats the playful words. It's obvious he tries to hide it but Chan shivers at Felix's voice. You only knew to look because he has the same effect on you.
The two weeks pass entirely as normal. A couple hangouts with various groups of the guys and knowledge of the future threesome doesn't invade your mind. The day before you thought Felix would be visibly stressed already but he seems entirely fine.
He seems fine to you, but Felix is good at hiding his emotions if need be. And he is freaking the fuck out. There came some point where it really settled in that this was a plan, it was happening, and it was going to be tomorrow. From that point on it had hardly left his head. Hiding his feelings while fucking around with the man? Is that even possible for a Lee Felix? It doesn’t really matter because it’s already happening, so really something is going to happen and he is determined not to ruin it.
To calm himself down there’s a number of things he can do, yet he chooses the one that wouldn’t make sense to most people. Calling his best friend, the slight hyperactive squirrel man, Han Jisung. Jisung is adept at the two things that can bring Felix out of almost any type of nervous state, whether with genuine comfort, or with chaotic distraction.
Yet when he calls, Jisung seems to know something is different.
“Soooooo, what is up my dude? How have you been?” Jisung sings.
“Ah, just a bit nervous for no reason and I know you’re not doing anything.”
Jisung is silent for a couple moments longer than the normal, puzzling.
“You sure it’s nothing? You’ve been…. extra. The past week, especially.”
Felix goes over the last times they’ve hung out together, especially as a group of 9. There’s nothing out of the ordinary that he thinks Jisung may count as ‘extra’, whatever that even means.
“Extra what, Ji? What are you even talking about?” Felix laughs, assuming Jisung will too and they can just move on.
“You’ve been staring at Chan like way more than usual, dude. I thought it was ridiculous before, but now… he’s either denser than a brick or ignores it.”
Felix’s mouth drops open and he’s silent for nearly half a minute. Other people have noticed how often he stares at Chan? Jisung noticed how much he stares at Chan? This is an entire disaster. And if Chan ignores his stares, then what does that mean. Actually, no, if he goes too far down that route then he’s going to chicken out of all of your plans and he wouldn’t dare ruin it.
“Are you the only one who noticed?” Felix asks hesitantly, mouthing please in hopes that if someone else has noticed as well, that it’ll just go away.
“No… Jeongin and Seungmin are wayyyyy too observant for that, the little demons. Minho, too. I haven’t heard from the others but if I’ve noticed then…” Jisung trails off. He’s not the least observant in the group. That title goes to Felix and Chan themselves. But he and everyone else would put him low on the list, so if he knows then almost everyone else probably does too. Well, shit.
“I’ll only tell you if you promise with your whole heart not to tell anyone else.”
Felix’s heart is pounding and it thrums loudly in his ears. Is he really about to tell someone else about this? Jisung, no less.
“I’m concerned but yeah, of course. Unless it’s a crime.”
Felix forces out a laugh, and he knows Jisung can tell but neither of them comment on it.
“So… maybe I have a bit of crush on Chan. It’s fine, it’ll go away eventually and I can just move on, but for now. I have crush feelings.”
Jisung is silent and Felix has to check if he hung up at some point.
“So you stare at your ‘just crush’ like he put the moon up himself? Not believing that or a second. But I understand now, so whatever. You gonna tell them or…?”
Felix lets out a real laugh this time, then scoffs like Jisung’s proposed robbing a bank tomorrow.
“And have them break up with me? No thanks, I’ll just live with it.”
This time its Jisung scoffing so hard his throat will be sore.
“You’re an idiot. If they love you, and we both know they do, then it’ll be fine. Be honest about your feelings, it’ll only make you stronger.”
Felix considers it, turning the idea over in his mind. Inevitably, his mind turns to your possible reactions. His dreams come first, the ones where you somehow like Chan as well and Chan likes you both. Or the ones where you’re ok with it. Or any of the ones where Chan even likes him back. But of course, the more likely reality. Where you’re uncomfortable or disgusted. Or want to… nope.
“I’ll think about it. Thanks Ji.”
“Sure man, anytime. Popcorns going so I’m gonna dip. Good luck.”
Felix is left in the silence of the bedroom to ponder. They both know he won’t do it but the wonderful fantasies make it seem possible. Some wonderful fantasies can come true, somehow.
The stress explodes in the morning. Felix is out of bed when you wake up and when you exit the apartment is practically sparkling. From top to bottom, you’d believe this house had never been lived in if your pictures and souvenirs weren’t everywhere. There's also a wonderful cookie smell coming from the kitchen, and it draws you in. Whenever Felix bakes it floods through your apartment and makes it seem like a home. Cheesy, yes, but it’s really what he does to you.
Felix's back is to you when you come in the kitchen and you wrap your arms around his stomach. He lets out a small squeak of surprise before giggling, face lighting up at you being awake finally.
"You do know Chan's been here before right? You didn't have to do this."
Felix sighs and turns to face you, leaving a kiss on your forehead.
"I know I didn't have to. I'm just nervous and all this kept my mind off of it for a bit."
You coo at your adorable boyfriend and peck his pink, pouting lips.
"No matter what happens he's just Chan. You're still you, I'm still me. It'll be ok, Fe."
The sigh Felix lets out has a different meaning to you both. You assume it's clearing his mind and re-centreing himself. Really it’s thoughts of how, at the end of the day Chan is never just Chan for him, but this is reality and not his ideal world. He doesn’t get to have two attractive partners to come home to every day. The timer goes off behind him and the reminder makes the smell of cookies flood your nose and mind again.
"Join me on the couch when you're done, baby. I'm gonna work on some stuff for a bit."
The reminder of cookies existing every timer goes off is delightful, and really the only reason timers should exist ever. Most of the way through the batter, Felix dances into the living room and feeds you one, delightful as always. He’s beautiful like this. The lingering stress showing on his face from the morning is entirely gone. The blinds are finally open for a reason and sunlight reflects off your sunshine.
The day passes easily once it begins and Felix is done practically vibrating out of his skin. In the early afternoon, he even falls asleep with his head in your lap for a while. Looking at him is like looking at a sleeping kitten, curled up and peaceful.
It gets later, a bit darker and you pull up the recipe on your laptop. The kitchen barely fits 2 people but you and Felix work well enough together that there are few problems. It’s nice to just… coexist with someone else so peacefully and naturally. The door rings and you and Felix glance at each other, for just a bit too long before he patters away.
They both pop their heads around the corner and Chan joins you both, squishing the kitchen space even more. He gives you both soft kisses on your foreheads, smiling and greeting you quietly. As soon as he does you and Felix look at each other and nod, kissing his cheeks at the same time. His cheeks flare bright red and his eyes widen but he quickly recovers. Expression settling and laughing, even if his ears and cheeks don’t stop burning for quite a while. Then you notice the box, probably a dessert that you won't be getting to tonight. Or… you will get to dessert technically, it just won’t be any of the typical sugar.
It proceeds normally, you may even forget what your plans are for a minute. But as plates start getting emptier Felix is the first to tense up. Chan follows soon after but you manage to stay the calmest, at least on the outside.
Chan puts his hand on your knee first and you stand. Suddenly, Felix's grasp comes from your other side and tugs you towards him. He looks so… innocent that you just can't help but tangle your fingers together. At the same time, he tilts his head up towards you, waiting for a kiss. Your hands tangle in his hair and press your lips against his.
You both turn to Chan after and he's sitting up, completely straight and still. You round the table and he puts his hand on your hip. It doesn't escape your notice about how much of you it covers and you resist looking down to see it.
"Can we kiss you?" You ask, breath fanning across his lips.
He should say no. Say no, say no, saynosaynosay-
"Yes." He says with false ease.
You lean in and he lets you lead it, simply resting his hands on you. Felix comes up behind you and rests his head on your shoulder, watching.
Chan briefly bites your bottom lip but you pull away before too much happens in the kitchen. Before you can move Felix switches places with you and throws his weight against Chan. It's like he was prepared and his hands go around Felix's back. You take a good long look at them before playing with Felix's hair and taking your own turn to watch them.
"We should go to your bedroom." Chan pants out, eyes blown wide when he opens them.
"You heard him, baby boy. Follow him."
You giggle when Felix whines at the pet name.
"You're our baby boy tonight, aren't you?" You tease.
Chan feels something flare inside of him when you use such possessive words, especially "our" anything. In any other situation, he knows it would be "your" and it kills him. He wants so much more, but he cannot either of you entirely in the way he wants so much. It's not a controlling type, simply a statement. Felix is yours as you are his, and neither of you are Chan's.
The moment you reach the room the door is closed and you are pinned onto it. You watch Felix disappear to change but Chan makes sure your attention is back to him quickly. He kisses you again, but harder this time.
Felix feels like this is a dream. Maybe he's finally achieved lucid dreaming. Because he's standing in the bathroom changing his skirt and about to have a threesome with his significant other and best friend/crush. That can't be real. So he's ready to wake up and tell you about the totally wild dream he had. But not the feelings, because those are still very real.
He never wakes up. Instead, he pulls the skirt on and walks out to see you pinned against the door and Chan nipping at your neck.
When Felix appears your attention is immediately split between them. It goes back to Chan pretty quickly when he starts whispering in your ear.
"I certainly know what I want to do. First, I'll watch the 2 pretty kittens in front of me for a while. A pretty picture being painted right in front of me. I'll keep the rest to myself for now. Go kiss your pretty boyfriend and give me a show, alright sweetheart?"
He backs away slowly and you go to Felix, whispering in his ear as well.
"He's going to watch and wants a good show from us first. So let's give him one, huh?"
Felix throws his arms over your shoulders and nods. Before you can tug him in he looks at Chan who nods as well before pulling out your desk chair.
Your kiss with Felix is already heated and messy, the extra thoughts of an audience and pleasing that audience in mind. It moves faster than you normally would when in the bedroom. Though the tension of the whole day, and especially of the dinner may be enough to make up for that.
Your hands roam furiously around each other and each time your lips break apart you each let out a gasp before diving back in. Felix starts walking you towards the bed with slow steps and flips it around so you fall onto his lap. Before he can do anything you fall to the ground on your knees.
When you flip up his skirt and see nothing underneath you can hear Chan groan from his spot. Immediately you sink your mouth down, gagging just slightly as he hits the back of your mouth. Taking a second to breathe, you look up at Felix who already has his eyes closed. When you stop his eyes flutter back open and his hands go to your hair, resting there with no intention of pulling. You bob your head slowly, not taking him all the way in every time. A couple times you try to glance at Chan in the corner but he’s moved farther than what you can see. So, your attention is focused on Felix who’s very entertaining and responsive on his own.
It starts as low moans that tell you he’s feeling good but you’re already looking for the high whines that you know he gives out. You hollow your cheeks and swirl your tongue in that way you know he likes, and the low groans turn into higher moans. They’re quieter than normal and you can tell he’s holding back, which is understandable, but you want him to let go.
Your head gradually bobs faster and faster, with Felix’s moans getting higher and more frequent. With one particularly deep dip, he hits your throat and a loud whine breaks free. You do it again and again, letting Felix lose control. His hands twist in your hair, still not enough to cause any pain to you, but his hips stay still to let you set the pace. You know Felix is close and you both want it and are both ready to receive it, even so early in the night.
“No, no, little one. He’s not cumming yet.” Chan suddenly speaks, tone firm.
Felix whines and you make a disappointed noise and slow down, not giving him enough of anything anymore.
Felix pushes you off of him with a shuddering breath and a poorly concealed whine. After a moment of confusion, you switch places with him. He’s on his knees and starts peeling off your pants, with the noises of Chan shifting in the background. With every inch of skin that is revealed under your pants, he makes sure to kiss it, all the way down to your ankles. He pulls down your underwear after, with less reverence and more impatience this time.
Before he can dive in, as he so clearly wishes to, Chan clears his throat across the room.
“Felix.” Said man perks up and turns towards Chan, eager to please. “Turn them towards me and let me have a look, won’t you baby?”
You obediently don’t move and let Felix turn your body, spreading your legs as well. Even without looking down, you know that you’re soaked already. Chan’s groan confirms it and you shift impatiently. Felix waits though, until Chan nods, before turning you back and getting his mouth on you.
All things considered, he’s gentle but the build-up and tension makes each bit of pleasure like a shot of electricity through your body. He licks eagerly, tasting you and making you twitch. Your hands go his hair less nicely than his did before. You tug at the strands, which only makes him moan into you which makes your hips buck into his mouth. Each small sound from Chan makes you want to see and feel him but you wait, indulging in Felix as is.
Felix knows exactly how you want it and with every minute that passes your whines get louder and with each flick of his tongue your brain gets fuzzier. Chan is taking a relatively hands-off approach for now but even with his seemingly infinite patience, he must want more. It’s hard to focus on that when Felix is eagerly slurping at your wetness and making you want to ride his face. You test the waters by rolling your hips once, twice, three times. When neither man stops you, you roll them incessantly.
With no prior experience, Chan somehow seems to know exactly when to stop you from getting too close.
“Felix, stop.”
Felix eagerly obeys, and you whine loudly in disappointment. One look from Chan cuts you off and you resolve to not protest again when he finally walks over. He stands above both of you but looks down with fondness and not scorn.
“How should we do this, pretty pets?”
You don’t even look at Felix before boldly speaking to him, knowing it was mostly a rhetorical question.
“Fuck me! Please?” Your sudden boldness is tempered by the way that Chan looks at you and you dip your head down.
Felix visibly brightens once his fuzzy brain puzzles out that he’ll probably get to be back in your mouth. He’s the first one onto the bed and you follow, Chan coming up behind you. Your kiss with Felix is interrupted by Chan tugging your shirt over your head and shoulders. He pulls it off and you turn around to pull his own clothes off, bringing Felix over as well.
Chan laughs when you both eagerly tug at his own clothes, trying to pull everything off at once.
“Slow down little ones. You’ll get it all soon.”
You and Felix stop and stare when his shirt comes off and you are suddenly very aware of him. It isn’t that Chan hides how muscular he is, just that you didn’t pay too much attention to it before. Now, you’re certainly paying a lot of attention. It’s broken when Chan goes to Felix’s shirt and you’re as excited as usual to reveal what’s underneath.
Just the sight of them alone nearly has you drooling and your hands run over their bodies at the same time, hardly believing they’re both in front of you. There’s hardly a chance to admire them as they both want to see you as well and pull your shirt up, one hand on either side.
Chan’s hands get on you and dip lower, lower and all the way down to between your thighs. You shiver and watch his face, waiting for his next move. Felix’s hands go up, to your nipples. His warm hands on you makes you shiver but still, you watch Chan who just is not moving. It makes you want to whine and beg but you know, almost for sure, that he’d disapprove. So you wait. The light touches on your nipples makes you whimper and moan occasionally and Chan watches you.
With a slowness that makes you want to scream, he pushes one finger inside. Even the barest feeling of being full makes you shudder and sigh in relief. After a few thrusts of his fingers where he meets no resistance, he pushes a second one in. You make a high noise in your throat and lean back against Felix’s chest, who takes the easy opportunity to kiss along your neck and shoulder.
The sensitivity of being so close from Felix’s mouth is still there and it has you moaning louder than you normally would. One of your hands reaches out and grabs Chan’s hand that is laying on his thigh. He doesn’t stop you so you bring it to your mouth and suck on two of his fingers. Felix lifts his head and groans at the sight, Chan’s pretty hands in your beautiful mouth.
Both men seem to thoroughly enjoy just playing with and teasing you, and it feels so good that you honestly don’t want them to stop. But you’re also craving so much more. With reluctance, you pull Chan’s fingers out of your mouth and whine at him.
“Daddy, please!”
He raises an eyebrow at your insistent tone and pushes another finger into you. It makes your head fall back onto Felix’s shoulder but also increases the need of being filled by Chan right now.
“No~ need you to fill me up, please.”
He slams his fingers into you, hard and deep and it makes you gasp.
“Do these fingers not fill you enough? They just aren’t good enough for you.”
Felix behind you huffs then laughs, clearly caught between finding Chan’s teasing amusing or exasperating on your behalf.
“Don’t make me say it! You know what I want.”
Felix finally starts sucking marks on your shoulder and it makes you sigh happily, a good distraction for just a moment before Chan speaks again.
“I wanna hear you say it, sweetheart. I want to hear you beg.”
Chan’s tone makes even Felix gasp, his mouth disconnecting from you and a sudden, hot breath caressing your sensitive skin. You shiver from the many sensations on your body and the sudden addition of his clear order.
“Want… want your dick, please. Daddy, fuck me!”
After you’re done speaking Chan puts his fingers back in your mouth, letting you suck on them contentedly. If you’re going to get what you want you have to leave what you have and Chan pulls all of his fingers out of you at once. You know better than to whine so you hold it back, but your eyes screw shut in displeasure.
“All fours, doll. Come on now.” Chan coaxes, and Felix also sighs when he has to disconnect from you. Chan takes that time to get a condom, and when he turns he just admires you and Felix on the bed. A perfect picture, but one that he’s also involved in tonight.
You get on your hands and knees then just wait for them to touch you again. Felix knows he’s still a bit sensitive and waits for Chan to start. Chan with infinite patience that is now absolutely killing you. His hands are feeling you up, down your ass and thighs and back up again. When he notices how obviously impatient you both are he finally lines himself up with your entrance and pushes in.
It makes you sigh. The opening of your mouth prompts you to look up at Felix who smiles down at you. You push your neck out, wanting him in your mouth and he pets your head. His fingers lift your chin and make you look up at him again.
“Be good for us, baby. Make us feel good.”
You eagerly nod and he finally moves closer. Once the tip of his dick is in your mouth, you start swirling your tongue around it. The moment he thrusts in you open your mouth wider and let him use it. It doesn’t take Chan and Felix long, as close and in sync as they are, to set a rhythm where when one of them pushes in the other pulls out. Chan’s thrusts push you towards Felix so much that his cock is nearly always in your mouth fully.
At some point, you can feel the drool starting to drip down your chin and Felix coos while he wipes it away.
“So messy, baby! Drooling all down my cock.”
All you can do is hum in agreement and hope he hears it. Being absolutely ruined with him in your mouth is always a fun experience and having Chan behind you improves it quite a lot. Speaking of Chan. His hand has come around and two of his fingers are feverishly rubbing your clit. It makes the long-awaited pressure build-up and he groans when you clench around him.
“Such pretty pets in front of me. Wet holes dripping down our dicks and making everybody messy. You just can’t hold it in, can you little one? That’s ok, we know you’re enjoying it.”
Chan’s voice is raspy when he speaks and it bolsters your confidence to know how good he’s feeling, too. It’s not as if you can say or do much about it. Especially not when you can feel an orgasm building and he thrusts so hard to make you dizzy.
Felix broke back into high whines a minute or two ago. When he speaks, it’s strained and he can barely get more than a few words out at a time if he can think them at all.
“Gonna cum. I want you to- to swallow it. Holy fucking shit, your mouth is so good, honey.”
You open your eyes, when did they even close, to look up at Felix. Attempting to get across how good he feels and how badly you want it. His chest rises and falls with quick, harsh breaths. Chan is so good behind you, rubbing your clit in small circles and long length filling you up better than you dared to hope. Your own peak is building but can barely focus on that for now, no matter how badly you want to.
Felix hits your throat once then twice more and with a small cry and jerk of his hips he cums. His whole body quivers and trembles as his seed shoots down your throat. You cough on it for a moment but swallow it down. The convulsion of your mouth projects a high-pitched whine from his own.
The moment Felix leans back, and your mouth is still left open, Chan drives into you roughly. A noise of surprise that you barely recognize comes from you before you start moaning, feeling your own high so presently. With Felix no longer in front of you, Chan holds your hips and pulls you back, slapping against your skin even louder every time he thrusts in. The continued stimulation on your clit is almost overwhelming in its intensity.
Felix can see the grunts and groans leaving Chan’s mouth but can’t hear them due to your own keening moans. To everyone’s surprise, Chan cums before you do but doesn’t dare stop or slow down his pace, even when it overstimulates him. The movements of his hips are less fluid but it doesn’t make you feel any less pleasure. With each thrust, he had learned to hit nearly any spot you needed him to.
He’s left panting but is rewarded when you let out a gasp and something that sounded like ‘gonna cum’. Your whole body shivers when it washes over you and even still Chan thrusts which makes shake that much more intense. Eventually, he stops when it becomes far less pleasurable for himself, he has a limit, but still rubs circles on your clit. A distraction shows in the way of Felix who climbs onto his lap. The relief and pleasure are still coursing through you and you flop to your side, curling your legs up and inwards. You watch them kiss through blurry eyes and how Felix submits to him so readily.
“Lixie~ one more? Inside?” You pout.
Chan coos and runs a thumb over your puffed-out bottom lip. It’s always a bit of extra fun when you let Felix cum inside. It’s a bit messy which neither of you really wants to deal with afterwards. Tonight’s special so why not add an extra little bit of a reward for him?
Felix turns to you and gasps. When you don’t laugh it off, he moves in front of you.
“Can you ride me? If you’re not too tired, I mean, of course.”
The way he nearly spits out the words, like they just can’t come out fast enough is adorable. You prop yourself up on your hands and look at Chan over his shoulder, with wide eyes just barely seen by him.
“Go ahead, pets. I’ll join the show again in a bit.”
You giggle and nearly tackle Felix down by his shoulders. His hands go to your hips out of instinct but you sit on one of his thighs first. Sitting on his thigh, you nearly want to grind and ride on it, looking at Chan’s thighs makes you fully pout again. Those are some good thick ones that you’d love to sit on. Felix chuckles when sees what you’re staring at but tugs you forward by the hips to try and get you moving.
You make a noise of recognition and easily sit down fully on his dick. The familiar fullness makes you let out a small mewl.
“Does he feel good, kitty?”
“Mmh, yes. Really good, daddy.” Your voice is breathy, different from the fully voiced moans from when Chan was railing you before.
“Ride him then, doll.”
The order that you were actually waiting for comes and you bounce, slowly. Chan is intending to let you go at your own pace but when a fair amount of time passes, with a fair few whiny moans from Felix, he tsks.
“You can do better than that. Faster, harder. Make him feel good.”
You place both palms flat on Felix's chest and spread your fingers wide. Your thighs flex as you ride him and the slide makes you gasp. After you’ve set a steady pace for yourself you take your hand to your clit, starting a bit slowly but going quicker as the stimulation doesn’t quite satisfy you as you need it to. Felix watches you, enraptured. You try to look back whenever your eyes are open but it’s overwhelming and they swiftly screw shut again.
Felix is back to his low groans that you can nearly feel and it’s nearly unbearably unattractive. Chan thinks the same if the small noises he, unintentionally, lets out are any indication. He tries to mumble praises to you but more often it’s Chan who takes the lead.
“Such pretty little babies, putting on a good show. Only for daddy to see.” “You both look so cute and small. I’d be able to ruin you both so easily.”
His words and encouragement make you clench and Felix jerks his hips up into you more than once as well. It’s good and you want to keep going but soon your thighs are a bit sore and tired and you begin to slow down again, whining in disappointment.
“Looks like kitty can’t quite keep up anymore. Why don’t you do it instead, Lix?”
The familiar nickname used in such a different context makes Felix suck in a sharp breath and his eyes widen. He’d really like to get used to that but as it is he holds your hips and starts pumping. Felix just manages to hit different spots inside of you when he does it himself and he has you moaning loudly within a minute.
When you look back over at Chan he’s jerking himself off in time with Felix’s movements. He’s not sitting close enough for either of you to reach but his eyes flick all over both of you, taking it all in. Looking down at Felix, his eyes are completely closed but his mouth is open to let you hear his low moans. They get a bit louder and you can tell he’s getting close so you turn on the begging.
“Lixie, baby. Cum inside me, please. Want you to make it all messy and I wanna see it drip out.”
Felix grunts and starts cursing under his breath. In less than two minutes he spills inside you and the warm spurts of cum fill you up more. Your breath is heavy as you get closer again yourself. Chan finally joins you again, fingers replacing yours. Felix still jerks his hips into you as much as he can, but he’s too sensitive for too much of it. Still, Chan’s hand just works and you roll your hips into his hand to feel more. He barely has to do anything honestly. Still jerking himself off with the other hand you can tell he’s holding back by how tight his voice is.
“Use Lix and my hand to get yourself off, kitten. I’ll do it with you, too.”
Your mouth falls open and a long, loud moan comes out. Your second orgasm feels like an overflow of the senses, so much so that you barely even notice Chan spilling over yours and Felix’s legs. You come down with a shiver and your legs and fingers are left with the most shakiness.
“Up, sweetheart. We wanna see it drip.”
Felix’s voice is low and rough but not stern. You nod and slip off of him, laying down and letting them both see. It’s nothing you can see yourself but from both of their low noises, it’s very appreciated.
You’re all left panting, sweaty, and shaky. You stay on your back and throw your legs on top of Felix’s. Chan stands and shuffles off to find towels for you all first. It makes you recognize that you need water and you grumble and sigh before standing. Felix hears you and jumps up to get you on his back. Just as you get onto Felix’s back, Chan returns.
“Why don’t we dry ourselves off first, okay cuties?”
You both sit back on the bed and look up at Chan with wide eyes. He continues to take care of you both as best he can and it makes you even sleepier, eyes drooping occasionally. Felix keeps you awake with small jabs and pokes. Everything you all need is done and Chan has agreed to stay for the night. All the buses have stopped, Ubers seem sketchy, and any other arguments he may have are shot down. As well as the argument for him just sleeping on the couch. Felix wiggles himself in the middle and shoots a firm ‘cuddle me’ at Chan before snuggling happily down and going to sleep.
You and Chan share small glances of bewilderment before settling in as well. It’s hesitant but you can feel how Chan eventually moves in, centimetres at a time, to do something that could be considered as cuddling Felix, if you really want to stretch it. The bed is full but instead of feeling crowded you feel comforted, knowing two of your favourite people are the ones there with you.
Chan wakes first but doesn't move in a way that would indicate he's in anything but deep sleep. Once he's sure neither of you are awake he sits up and gazes at both peaceful, sleeping faces in front of him. You're both beautiful in the throes of passion but there is something about the peaceful light of day that pangs his heart differently.
Surreptitiously, under the blankets you and Felix hold hands but lay with eyes closed as you feel Chan looking, observing. He takes a heavy breath in that makes you want to sit up and ask, comfort him, but something about the stillness in the air stops you.
"Fuck," he curses lowly, but in a different way than the last night. "You're both so beautiful, I wish every morning could be like this."
You stay quiet, even if thoughts race through your mind, but sensitive Felix gasps, no matter how hard he tries to muffle it. Chan leans back against the wall to create as much distance as possible.
Felix sits up slowly and you follow a moment after. Chan lets out some nervous, forced chuckles. The confidence of yesterday has melted away, leaving the usual, shyer Chan sitting here instead.
"Channie?" He shudders. "What did you mean by that?"
He stutters and fumbles, trying not to lie but also keep feelings intact. Eventually, he just stops and freezes everything for a moment. Then before you can even think, he tries to leap off the large bed towards the door. Felix is fast and grabs one wrist while you rush to stand and grab the other to push him back down.
There is no fight, only an acceptance to sit back down.
"Channie, please." Felix chokes out the words and when you look at him he's on the verge of tears.
Why is unknown, but it's clear this is going to be a difficult conversation.
Chan sighs and runs a hand through his hair, flipping his head to look at both of you.
"I never thought this was going to happen, any of this. Last night, everything this morning. But whatever happens, don't let my words affect your relationship."
He looks at both of you separately to receive an agreement.
"I really like you both, romantically. Maybe even love but I've tried to avoid the thoughts. For obvious reasons."
In the silence of anticipation, Felix's tears had dried on his eyes but now they sit, teetering on the edge of his eyelids.
"Lix. Are you ok? You look like you're about to burst." You speak gently to Felix because he looks like a terrified little animal.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I was never going to tell you."
Your confusion only grows at his vague words and you can't see Chan from the way he's turned his head.
"I understand if you wanna break up with me. I'd probably want to if the roles were reversed."
A gentle hand on his knee prompts Felix to raise his head and look at you.
"It's ok, love. I'm sure we can work this out. Just tell me the whole story first."
"Chan and I have been best friends for so long, years before I thought about dating anyone. He's seen all my highs and lows. Then you came and changed that a lot and we started dating. But still, somewhere along the way I... I developed feelings for him."
Felix curls himself so small it seems impossible and leans away from both you and Chan. You sit in stunned shock and try to make sense of everything that just happened. When your eyes focus again Chan's eyes are flicking between you and Felix. Felix.
You mentally curse and lunge towards him, embracing him in a tight hug.
"Can you look at me, my love?" You coax gently.
He sobs harder at the loving, familiar pet name coming from your mouth but obliges. Somehow still the prettiest man you may have ever seen, but that's not important.
"It's ok." You say simply.
Felix looks at you in confusion, sobs still wracking his body periodically even as he tries to hold them back.
"Your feelings for Chan, they're ok."
You can hear the small, confused noise Chan makes from his spot behind you but mostly you hear the loud whimper of Felix in front of you.
"What? Are you joking? How are you ok with knowing your boyfriend has a crush on someone else. His best friend, as well. One of the people you're both closest to. And you're ok with that?"
The points Felix is making aren't completely out there. But there's something that flares up in your chest, something amazing, when Chan and Felix interact so tenderly. Their normal banter is what you expect but when it's quieter or later they get softer and so do you when looking at them.
"I am. I like that you two have an incredible dynamic completely separate with me. Of course, I love talking to you both as well. I can't explain it, but it's there. So yes, it's ok."
Felix launches himself onto your lap and buries his face in your chest. You focus on him, nuzzling your nose in his hair and rubbing his back. To the point where you almost get lost in your own world completely. Of course, almost is the key word.
Chan watches in envy as you both drift off into a comfortable affection and closeness. There was just a whole confession but he can’t help but feel like he doesn’t fit perfectly, not yet anyways. He wants to hold you like that, or Felix, or both. Maybe later, not today. Today he needs to go home and let you have a day to yourselves.
Chan is off the bed before you can even speak and you and Felix look at him, puzzled.
"Haha, um, I just don't to y'know intrude on your morning routine or anything. You don't need to get up I'll just go, yeah. We can talk more another time."
Your deadpan look to Chan somehow increases as he says 'intrude' and you're sure Felix has pulled out his sad kitty look.
"Chan. Bang Chan. Christopher Bang. Sit down." You order.
Felix laughs when he follows your order, almost dazedly, and sits back down to fiddle with his hands.
"Can I kiss you? For real this time." You ask, Felix moves off your lap in anticipation.
Chan looks up at you with his jaw hanging down. He nods then closes his mouth and clears his throat.
"Yes. Please."
You're half on his lap with your arms around his neck before he pulls you in. After a dizzying minute or so you pull away.
Felix would be mad you got to kiss Chan with feelings first if it wasn't so damn attractive. When neither of you moves he whines and does grabby hands in that general direction.
You move out of the way and watch as Chan goes to Felix without hesitation. Chan is wider and could probably cover Felix up entirely from the right angle. They're so soft. Chan's hands are barely touching Felix's waist and Felix's hands are moving up Chan's arms and shoulders. They’re beautiful. Absolutely stunning. When they pull away from each other your hands go to rest on each of their shoulders’ and you level Chan with a stern look.
“Just listen until I’m done. No interrupting. Just listen.”
He has the presence of mind to just look slightly sheepish and nod.
“Me and Felix have been dating for a while but that will make you no less of a valued or important member of this relationship. If we’re going to do this then we all need to communicate our feelings to each other. So, Chan. If we ever, ever, make you feel left out in any way, you need to tell one of us. That goes for all of us in any situation.”
You sit back but Felix catches you and pulls you into his side. Chan follows his lead and moves in front of you, putting his long arms to use and hugging both of you. You all sit in peace and adoration for a bit before stomachs begin to grumble a bit. Chan is the first to disentangle himself and the look of disbelief that crosses his face all over again is almost comical.
"You're... This is ok?"
You giggle at his still present disbelief. Hesitantly, you reach one hand towards him and he grabs it and moves toward you. While still making eye contact he gingerly presses his lips to the top of Felix's head.
"It's real, Channie. I promise." You giggle then whisper.
Chan pulls his hand back and looks at both of his palms in shock. You give him a few moments then he reaches his arms back around both of you as best he can and buries his face in Felix's shoulder.
"Thank you." He mumbles.
"Three's a party, not a crowd for us.” You reply, leaning on Felix as well.
Felix is the glue that binds you two together, and the one that got you here in the first place. For not the first time and not the last, you're happy to have met him.

Misthios VII
Pairing (Mother Miranda x Spartan!Reader)
Rating (M)
Word Count (4.6k)
Warning (probably language right now)
You and Miranda are finally moving on to having that long chat that's separated you both for centuries.
The Queen's eyes fluttered open, finally waking with the morning rays of the sun peaking over the mountain. Her balcony doors were wide open to let the cool night breeze into her personal chambers while the two fireplaces burned well into the night. It was a combination of warm and cool that her majesty enjoyed greatly as it helped her with sleep.
Of course, sharing her bed with you also aided with her troubles with sleep for the past few months since your arrival to the region. Wonderful in all the ways she could never have imagined; a warrior and a lover, the two things that made her life easier—and the lives of her enemies that much worse.
It had been well past dinner time when you returned to the castle along with the squadron of soldiers you'd gone with including a Captain of the military who was leading the raid. Part of your armor had been slashed and torn, stained with blood and whatever else you encountered outside of the castle walls.
But when Miranda stood in the doorway of her private bath watching as you stripped of your amour—she witnessed no open wounds for her to tend to or fret over, but blood stained your skin anyway. Even though she knew that she should have the moment she noticed: Miranda never questioned why you'd always have a new scar every other day or why your shirts had the evidence of a stab wound taking place right above your hip, including a blood stain, but all you could do was smile when asked about it.
“ Is everything alright, your majesty?”
Miranda blinked, her mind coming back to reality now finding herself sitting up in her bed currently being blinded by the morning sun. The Queen sighed heavily, looking down at your sleeping form—as always you were on your back with one arm tucked beneath one of the pillows behind your head and the other was being used as Miranda's pillow for most of the night. As always.
Like herself, you were bare as the day you were born...your entire torso shamelessly revealed for her roaming insatiable eyes...and she smirked when a particularly cool breeze swept through the room. She watched the goosebumps rise under your exposed skin, including your nipples making Miranda hum softly.
“ Y-your majesty?”
Miranda, suddenly remembering just what, or rather who, had bothered her before and looked towards the girl, pleased when she saw that her eyes were on the floor.
“ Everything is more than alright, girl, however you may leave... I'll be out shortly.”
A hand curling around her waist brought Miranda's gaze from the closing double doors where the meek girl disappeared through and back to you. Your eyes were still closed but you were starting to wake up, stretching like a feline and again Miranda's eyes were drawn to your chest.
“ Carved by the Gods,” she mumbled, the tips of her nails tracing your firm abdomen with no particular pattern, simply enjoying the light marks she was leaving behind around your belly button, knowing how much you enjoyed when she did that as well.
You saw the thoughtful look on Miranda's face when you opened your eyes but you couldn't stop the giant yawn from escaping, “Morning,”
Miranda smiled down at you, enjoying the way the sun made your skin glow but you weren't fooled by that smile—you were used to Miranda's smiles and this was one of her worries. The sort of smile where she wanted to reassure you while scolding you at the same time. You pulled away slightly, and sat up a bit so you could give her your full attention. When the monarch remained silent, simply staring at you, all you could do was raise an eyebrow...waiting.
Miranda scoffed at the action, shaking her head, “It's ironic isn't it, how we the others tales...but we do not truly know each other, do we?”
You shrugged, smirking at her—refusing to hint at the nerves beginning to crawl up your spine, “Pretty sure we know each other inside and out, your highness.”
Miranda gave you a look, clearly unimpressed, “Yes, beneath that charm and nonchalance...is something quite fascinating, isn't there? And...it seems that your truth only comes to light during battle.”
“ Pardon?” you sat up a little more now, eyebrows furrowed—unsure where Miranda was going with this but you no doubt that it probably wasn't going to be good for you. Especially since you're naked and vulnerable but not defenseless.
“ Captain Ake came to me last night after I left you to your bath, he seemed quite concerned with something...and quite frankly, I'm curious myself.” Miranda's hand had stopped tracing patterns on your stomach, but her hand still lingered...and the moment her index finger traced over the raised skin right next to your belly button, the brand new one, you knew you fucked up.
“ About what?” You mumbled not daring to look down at her hand, and her eyes burned into yours—playing dumb would only get you so far—probably the dungeons if you were lucky. You knew exactly what Ake was concerned with though you weren't sure if he actually saw you take a sword through your gut as it was so dark and everything happened within a blink or two.
“ What I am going to say next may sound crazy, however, Captain Ake is one of my most loyal subject in this castle, and quite sane...he claims to have witnessed you being impaled,” Miranda exhaled slowly, “By the enemy...and somehow managed to walk away from it, unharmed. Would you mind telling me what happened, my dear?”
You stared at her for a second, “And...you believed him? Could I have really been stabbed by a sword and do what I did last night? Do you know how insane you sound?”
“ Watch your tongue! You're still addressing your Queen, warrior.”
“ I'm sorry, but you seriously don't believe that shit do you?”
“ I've been noticing a few things myself, (Y/n)...and I would really like some answers myself.”
“ Right. I'll take that as my signal to leave, your majesty. Thanks for letting me sleep here last night.”
Miranda's eyes narrowed slightly, reaching out to grab your wrist to prevent you from running from her, “(Y/n), do not run from me...I'm only trying to understand! You can trust me, this I promise you, I'm not going to hurt you.”
You wanted to believe her, but you had to learn the hard way that trust was nothing but a word—a word that can be broken over and over. You were too stupid to learn in the past but you weren't about to do the same thing now. Pushing the covers aside you threw some mundane excuse over your shoulder but before you could actually get to the edge of the bed, you were pulled back and pushed back into your previous position. It didn't actually hurt but it wasn't gentle either but you were pretty sure that it was Miranda that moved you, but you hadn't actually felt or seen her move a muscle.
“ W...how? Miranda?!”
Miranda smiled shyly at your bewildered expression—a very rare expression from the Queen but like yourself, she was feeling quite vulnerable, “You're not alone, (Y/n)...and neither am I.”
“ Neither....are you?” Miranda chuckled at your expression and your inability to put two and two together. When you tried to sit back up, Miranda's shy smile morphed into something more amused and predatory because you realized that you couldn't move—and Miranda still hadn't moved an inch.
“ Ah, now do I have your full attention?”
The closer you got to Miranda's home the more treacherous the path became and you'd lost sight of the woman flying low above the trees ten minutes ago—or what you thought to be ten minutes, you weren't sure. Your eyes were glued to the ground, keeping a firm but relaxed grip on the reign of your stallion, Bruce, whispering gently to him. Alcina called him a gentle giant and she wasn't exaggerating. The path was narrow and very unkempt but you wouldn't expect Miranda to make things easy, especially access to her private home.
There was a point that you weren't even sure you and Bruce were actually going to make it across but there was no way you could've turned the massive horse around either, forward was the only way and you weren't ashamed to admit that your heart was pounding hard enough to crack bones. The moment you cleared the trees, Miranda's home finally came into view—and you were not disappointed. It was a simple two story cabin practically etched into the mountain and you wanted to know how the hell she managed to get this place on the sliver of rock.
You'd brought Bruce to a stop just as Miranda appeared and landed gracefully on her porch even with her heels on (you caught a glimpse of them earlier when she started flying). From her porch alone, Miranda had a perfect view of everything . The village, the manor sitting on the waterfall, the factory and of course the castle. There was a light blanket of fog obscuring most of the view, but it was still breathtaking all the same.
You dismounted Bruce easily, gently guiding him to the post next to Miranda's porch. You fed him a few sugar cubes, gingerly untangling part of his dark mane and pulling free a few twigs and leaves.
“Further up the path I have there's a stable for him, we can take him later.”
You turned to look at Miranda, finding her standing in the door looking at you, her expression unreadable and you were too tired to try and decipher it. You double checked the post before steeling your nerves and joining her on her porch, it was roomier than it actually looked and you spotted a hammock on the other corner—not the usual netted sort, it looked like a quilt and quite comfortable too.
You followed Miranda inside, shutting out the cold—the interior of Miranda's home had you stock still at the front door with your hand still on the door knob. The space was open, having the living room and the eating area open with no barrier, and you could easily see the kitchen from where you stood. It was...cozy and warm.
“Surprised?” Miranda's voice brought your eyes to where she was, now half way up the stairs behind the kitchen wall, she wore a soft smile, the front of her robes already opened (you didn't even realize the fucking thing even had a zipper), revealing the slacks and blouse she wore underneath, “Did you expect me to live in a cave?”
“I expected you to at least have a TV.”
Miranda smirked but it didn't reach her eyes, “Are you going to stand there bitching about the lack of media corruption or do you want that shower?”
Your hand finally relaxed off of the door knob, the light throbbing resulting in just how hard you were holding the poor thing. You kicked off your boots at the door—they were covered in mud, snow and probably horse shit at some point, they were filthy. And the last thing you wanted to do was dirty up Miranda's wood floors.
She waited until you were on the stairs to continue up herself while slipping her robe from her shoulders and casually throwing it over her arm as if it were just a towel. “There are only three rooms on this floor. My own, the guest room and the bathroom.”
You raised an eyebrow, “One bathroom?”
“I don't exactly keep guests, dear.”
“So then why the extra bedroom?” you were being a shit, you knew it, but you couldn't help it—Miranda made it easy for you to tease her sometimes (all the time). You wanted to be more bothered over how easy it was for you to fall back into old habits with this woman.
“The longer you stand there being an idiot, the colder your water gets.”
You raised your hands slightly, moving past her towards the door she pointed to, flipping on the light—it was roomier than you expected it to be, dark and a bit modern but Miranda somehow still managed to keep it grand and medieval. The floor was made of stone, there was a grand shower with a curved glass door and next to it was a bear claw of a tub, melded into the floor like it was a hot spring. Across the floor was a single sink and a mirror, and next to it a door where you assumed you'd find the towels and toiletries. Just past the tub, was the toilet though there was a half wall there to offer some privacy and you spotted your backpack sitting on top of it neatly and that finally gave you pause.
“Figured you didn't want to walk around naked or wearing any of my clothes.”
You hadn't even noticed that you had actually walked into the bathroom, admiring it's simple yet beautiful décor or that Miranda followed you in until the shower sprung to life next to you.
She smiled at you apologetically, not having meant to startle you—but seeing you so easily bothered helped put her at ease. Miranda was good at hiding it, but she was quite nervous. Having you so near and so far from her at the same time in the comfort of her own home, her sanctuary—none of the other Lord's knew where she lived, they probably thought she lived in a cave or a nest or something. You were Miranda's first house guest since she arrived in this village.
She closed the shower door, watching you open your backpack—checking through it, and she couldn't stop the small smile from forming after you smirked, realizing that you were still without your weapons. But you didn't make a comment on it, instead beginning to pull out the things that you needed—until you realized that she was still in the room as well.
You raised an eyebrow at Miranda, and her smile only grew but the blonde simply shrugged her wings and tucked her wings tighter to her back as she exited the room, “I'll be downstairs when you're finished...”
“Miranda—”
She paused and you froze, fuck, why did you do that? You hadn't meant to call out to her, but your mouth was faster than your brain sometimes and now she was looking at you expectantly and all you could do was stare at her like a jackass. There was so much, too much, that you wanted to say but where could you even start? Why were you getting this courage in the fucking bathroom of all places?
“Downstairs.” She reminded you gently when the silence stretched too long—you had panicked and she saw that, and instead of jumping on you like the predator you knew that she was fully capable of being—she left you alone to your thoughts and the hot water steaming the room, calling your name. It was a welcome distraction even if it wouldn't be a forever one.
“Being immortal really is overrated.”
Miranda didn't go downstairs immediately, instead making a beeline for her bedroom and closed the door behind her but left it ajar enough for her to still hear you in the bathroom. Miranda carefully hung up her 'Mother Miranda' robe and began stripping out of the clothes she's been wearing for the past two days along with her rings; finally taking off the crown of Mother and just becoming Miranda with every stitch of clothing she removed from her flawless skin.
Standing naked in front of her full-length mirror, Miranda whispered a delicate but very familiar spell she's known since she was a small child and she winced quietly as her wings folded back into her body for the next six or seven hours. The spell wasn't forever but Miranda often used it when she was home to avoid breaking her things as she often did if she let her wings remain as they were, they often got restless if she stayed home and still too long so she just opted for putting them away to save herself the trouble. And money.
When the last two smaller ones on her lower back finally retreated into her skin, Miranda rolled her shoulders to pop out the kinks. She got dressed in a pair of washed out pants and a v-neck shirt, and at the last minute Miranda threw on her dark wool cardigan before heading back downstairs but not before pausing outside of the bathroom door. She heard you humming over the shower and though she didn't recognize the song, it still made her smile.
Suddenly feeling like a creeper, Miranda moved away from the door and went downstairs to start on the coffee she was craving earlier. She got her fireplace going but that all took less than ten minutes and now she found herself back in her kitchen, pulling ingredients from her refrigerator to give her something to do besides fret.
“ You shouldn't be so comfortable with your champion, in public.” Fritjof complained for the thousandth time in her ear—he was one of her primary advisors, having been employed by her late husband, the former King. He was always a bit of an annoyance, but he often proved himself useful and unwittingly saved his own life time to time from Miranda's ire.
“ I was only congratulating her on another victorious raid on a neighboring kingdom that thought it wise to steal from us, or have you forgotten that little fact, Fritjof?”
He frowned, not liking her tone but he quickly corrected his features knowing that they were still in the halls on their way to the Queen's study, but there were still eyes on them, “I...yes, but it sends the wrong message when you send a blood wolf to handle this kingdoms affairs instead of your loyal officers! You make us all look weak!”
Miranda stopped walking, and whirled around on Fritjof, her coat wrapping around her leather clad legs as she did so, and the frail man jumped back a step, knowing that he overstepped a line severely, “A-apologies—”
“ You will apologize with your tongue!” Miranda hissed, “Though I'm sure (Y/n) would rather have your head for all the times you've questioned her loyalty to this kingdom! We're coming up on eight years, Fritjof, and (Y/n) has helped this kingdom prosper more than you ever could've in your twenty years with my late husband.” Miranda sneered dangerously, edging closer to him and the terrified man could only back up into the table, knocking over a vase but Miranda paid it no mind, “One more word about this and I will have you removed. Permanently.”
Fritjof swallowed harshly, beads of sweat forming at his hairline and rolling down his face, and Miranda's sneer deepened in disgust, “Please, your highness, I'm only looking out for the future of the kingdom! It—it needs an heir and a King! The other kingdoms will never recognize your power without either—” his words were cut off when Miranda struck him down, a single line of blood staining a portrait on the wall behind him. Miranda struck faster than he could react and Fritjof cried out in pain, alerting the guards who came running but stopped when they saw their Sovereign standing over the slimy advisor holding part of his face, blood starting to seep through his fingers.
“ For every brilliant woman, there's always a stupid man thing to be found.” Miranda stepped over his pathetic body and continued on her way, rolling her shoulders back when her back began to twinge in response to her high and irritated emotions, and she needed release. “Get him out of my sight and find my champion; send her to me when you do.”
“ Yes, my Queen.” They both replied, one of them roughly hauling Fritjof to his feet and pushing him forward, but not before the man could cast one last glance at Miranda's retreating back until he was shoved forward. “Move!”
The cabin was filled with the aroma of sweet bread and coffee and your stomach was growling something vicious halfway down the stairs after you put your back in the guest room. Miranda had her back to you and you took the moment to stop at the bottom of the stairs to just observe her. The very first thing you noticed was that her wings were gone and she was more relaxed—it probably had a lot to do with her being in her own home, and it was starting to make more sense why she wanted to be in the comfort of her own home for this conversation. Though her argument for privacy was valid as well.
Your eyes flickered around the open space, spotting something tucked in the corner of the living room and scoffed without meaning to and alerting Miranda of your presence, if she wasn't already. She turned from her task of fixing you both something to eat to watch you walk across the room to where the object of your interest lay with a carefully crafted expression.
“Didn't take you for owning a rifle.”
“It's ten years old, I believe.” Miranda hummed quietly, dusting off her hands before taking down a couple of plates from the cabinet above the stove. You looked at her when she didn't elaborate, really curious now.
“It's in pretty good condition, really beautiful...where did you get it?” you checked the clip and saw that there were exactly ten rounds in there. When Miranda didn't answer you immediately, you found her watching you.
“It's not mine.” Miranda set the plates at the small eating table that could easily seat two other people, “I took it from a witch hunter as he was so kind to come all this way to visit. He tried to kill me in my sleep like a coward. He intrudes upon my home and couldn't be bothered to give me an honorable death. The audacity of men certainly hasn't changed over the years.”
Her tone was not lost on you and you knew that the witch hunter was long dead. You traced the steel design grip, impressed at the detail—and distracted.
“Oh, so now you hate men?” Ah... and once again your mouth was faster than your brain could process, and just like that her eyes were on your back—you felt it.
“I've always hated men, (Y/n). I...” she sighed harshly, her eyes turning into a glare, “Stop doing that, you don't have the entire story so if you're done being an ass and running from this conversation—I would really like to clear the air between us so we can move on from this.”
“You mean your truth that you want me to hear so badly?” You chuckled though it lacked any amusement. You set the rifle down, finally giving her your full attention then sighed heavily—a sudden exhaustion falling over you, “Would it really matter at this point, Miranda? It happened centuries ago...we both moved on, why do you want to drudge this back up?”
“Why don't you?” Miranda moved around the table, the coffee and snack forgotten in the moment, but she didn't try to approach you, “I'm not the only one who was in the wrong, (Y/n).”
“Do you think I cared about your status when I found out the woman I loved married a man behind my back and didn't even fucking tell me! I had to find out in the middle of that stupid ball you wanted to throw so bad after we invaded those rebellion villages. I gave you everything and you betrayed me . I crossed lines for you, Miranda. I thought that would warrant enough decency to be honest with me. I-”
You stopped, your face was hot and you exhaled heavily—doing your best not to sniffle, you hated that you were the type to fucking cry when your emotions bubbled to the surface too fast. Especially when the topic is something you've buried long deep in the dark corners of your mind with no hope for daylight again. You just never thought you'd bump into your past like this. And it's been years since you've had to deal with anything on a personal level after your last child passed away fifty years ago at the tender age of eighty-six.
Miranda saw the emotions playing across your face with a frown but otherwise her own emotions were carefully hidden, she was always better at that than you were, and inched closer, “(Y/n)...”
“We've both obviously lived with this hurt and came out fine,” you cut her off, not looking at her but instead at your bare toes with your hands back in your pockets, “What's closure gonna do besides bring up old hurt?”
“No, that's not it at all, I just...” Miranda coughed lightly and cleared her throat,—your question was valid as she's asked herself this many times before, asking herself why she didn't just let you go in the forest—she could've let you go and saved you both from this reopened wound. But she didn't because she couldn't and Miranda wouldn't apologize for it. Because she's always been a selfish woman, and one of her most selfish needs—even when she first laid eyes on you—she knew that you were hers. That never changed, time could never take that away from her.
“This life is long and lonely, (Y/n)...and I've made many mistakes, most I will never have a chance to atone for...and when I saw you,” Miranda looked into your eyes and bit her bottom lip, you weren't even looking at her anymore, “I've lost so much in this life, and I refused to lose you a second time. The first time I was...I was corrupted with greed and power, but I was stupid and it cost me everything too, (Y/n).”
You looked up, surprised by her words, “He took your kingdom from you, didn't he?”
“ You!” Miranda moved closer, though you hardly noticed because you were focused on her eyes that were duller than they were down in the village but just as clear, bright and brimming with tears, “He took you from me. He took us away from each other, (Y/n). I'm not innocent in it either, I...I could've done something about it, but I didn't and it was the biggest mistake I could've made in my entire existence. And I think about it more than I care to admit, I think about you...wondering what sort of life we could've shared together had I made better choices. I'm...I'm sorry, (Y/n).”
Miranda was close enough to touch you now, and this time she didn't hesitate nor did you pull away when both of her hands cupped your cheeks, making you shiver. “Miranda...”
Miranda's hands tightened on your face, obviously thinking you were about to argue again but you were tired of arguing with her, over this...before she could speak, you took Miranda by surprise and pulled her into a tight embrace, both of your arms around her waist and you caught her when her entire body sagged in your arms. You had no idea what was going to happen after this, but that little piece of you that longed for the closure you never got...began to grow.
“I'll stay.”

sometimes i wonder what if gwyn know she is azriel's mate but she's scared he would think of her as damaged goods after what she has gone through especially considering the fact he was just here right after she was sexually assaulted. as a sa survivor myself i was afraid to start a relationship bc back in the days i thought nobody would ever want me in this way because i'm broken and nobody would ever love me for me, but only out of pity. so what if gwyn in this state of mind right now?
TW: brief mention of SA
Hello anon🤍
First of all, I am sorry you went through such a horrific experience and let me remind you that you are worthy of love and what you had went through does not define who you are nor does it taint you, you had no choice in it. And I can understand the insecurities that would stem from it, and I hope those insecurities do not haunt you anymore. You are not broken, you are not a subject of pity, you are who you are and the right person will love all of you, scars or no scars but I hope you find love in yourself and that you are worth it, worthy of all the happiness and love that exists in this world like every human being on this earth. I'm sorry I got carried away but this isn't only a message to you but to all SA survivors out there and I hope I have chosen the right words to send my message.
And about Gwyn and the Mating Bond. It could be a possible scenario since Gwyn does have a low sense of self-worth because of what she went through and her grief of not being able to save her sister. I'll analyze a bit some parts of the book to try and make sense of what I mean.
Reading this part for the first time made me burst into tears and I feel like my tears are about to fall again reading it now. But you can see how Gwyn feels unworthy of the stone, imagine if she applied the same logic to her mate.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I like the idea of the female detecting the Mating Bond first because we only had that once in Sarah's books (TOG). It would be likely that Az's mate would detect it before he does since he is too focused on Mor and Elain and his pain and self-loath blinds him from seeing that Bond much like how Rowan was unable to recognize the Bond between him and Aelin because of his grief.
I think it was very peculiar of Gwyn to keep glancing at Azriel and until now I can't make up a concrete interpretation of this scene because if you'd assume she was uncomfortable around him but then you realize it's not the case because she asks him to give her dagger-handling lessons and spent Solstice night alone with him for a short moment while when Nesta left her with Cassian and Rhys she went to the water station because she felt uncomfortable. She feels safe and comfortable around Azriel.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then Gwyn describes how Azriel slaughters them all within moments. Adds that he did not hesitate. It's still a theory but it's also possible to apply this to mate behavior even if he doesn't realize it because usually Azriel keeps one enemy alive for interrogation. There was no need to add that he didn't hesitate she could've stopped it at he slaughtered them all and that was the end of it but maybe she wanted to put some emphasis on that? Maybe?
I'll add in another scene where it also hints at Helion being the mate of Lady Autumn. Mates instinctively become very aggressive and act first before they think.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The shadows reactions are a big hint because we have never seen them act this way with anyone. She even smiles at them. Azriel scares everyone because his presence is intimidating, yet you have Gwyn who smiles at his shadows and banters with him.
Tumblr media
So I agree with you anon, I think Gwyn is currently at this state of mind and if she knew Azriel was her mate she wouldn't reveal it but keep it for herself because she thinks she is unworthy of him which is also the exact same issue with Azriel.
Tumblr media
I think their love story would be a beautiful one. Especially with how both feel unworthy of the people they love and all the good things in life but they may find healing together. They'll understand one another because there are many parallels between them.
I just hope Sarah handles this delicately. For me, it's not about them being endgame. Their journeys as their own characters and as a couple matters to me. Their healing matters to me. Especially with so many SA survivors in this fandom who relate to Gwyn, I want her to do her justice for them and I hope she will.
I hope my message and my answer were good enough anon🤍 take care!

I got you, V.
Those words ricocheted off the walls of her mind, steadily growing louder with each passing second.
Told you that was a bad idea, but you just don't fuckin' listen.
Even when V was drifting somewhere between life and death, she could still hear the voice of the asshole rocker boy that lived in her.
The glitching was worse than it had ever been, making her feel as if her head was going to explode. She wasn't ready to die, but it seemed to be a foregone conclusion. It didn't matter how deep they went into finding a way to stop it, they were still so far away from a solution.
Come on, V, fight it.
Her eyes fluttered open sometime later. The smell of cigarettes and a dingy motel room filled her nostrils.
"Wha- fuck… Johnny?" She said, willing herself to sit up.
"Stay down, V. Need to take it easy." He appeared next to her, crouching next to the bed.
"What... where-" the room was blurred, objects barely formed as she tried to focus.
The only thing she could see clearly was Johnny. A hint of concern etched across his face, but she assumed it was just her vision.
"Brought you to a safe place. Those fucks won't find us here." Johnny said, answering a question she felt like she asked hours ago.
"Where... is here?" She struggled to return to full consciousness, head buzzing and vision distorting.
"Motel outside of the city. Stayed here a long time ago," he answered.
"This a they don't care if you vomit on the carpet kinda place?"
"Can't smell the aroma of vomit's past?" He asked with a little smirk.
V tried to laugh but she was hit with a shit storm of nausea and couldn't hold it back. She leaned over the edge of the bed and emptied the contents of her stomach at Johnny's feet.
"Barely missed me." He moved back.
V rolled back on the bed, feeling slightly better, "did you- how did you get me here?"
"Had to take your body over for a while. Only choice I had to keep you alive," he explained, stepping around her vomit to sit on the edge of the bed.
"Surprised I'm still alive after what you did the first time you were in control," she smirked and propped herself up against the headboard.
"Wasn't about to leave you in a pool of your own fluids." He kept his gaze on her.
V felt like she'd been hit by a truck, "thanks. I don't know what I'd do without you riding shotgun." She smiled slightly, trying to ignore the buzzing in her head.
"Guess there are some benefits to sharing the same body." He pulled a cigarette out and lit it.
There was something oddly comforting about it. Like a certain amount of stability had returned just from seeing him smoke. Normalcy in the midst of chaos.
"You ever wish you'd gotten stuck with someone else?" V asked.
"Someone with a dick maybe." He passed the cigarette to V.
"I can only imagine the chaos you'd cause if you had full access to someone's dick." She took the cigarette from his fingers.
Normally she wasn't one for smoking, but it was becoming a habit after a black out.
"You have terrible taste in sex partners," he chided.
"Still won't let the whole River thing go, huh?" V grinned and passed the cigarette back as she blew out a stream of smoke.
"A cop, V. You made me fuck a cop."
"Oh, then I can only assume you came too? Does that mean... you enjoyed it?" She grinned.
"Fuck you." Johnny shook his head and plucked the cigarette from her fingers.
"Had to feel good since you're feeling everything same as me. River is a God with his tongue." V pulled her knees up to her chest and watched Johnny take a long drag of the cigarette.
"Can we at least talk about future fucking? I should have a say," he said after a long silence.
"Okay, who did you have in mind?" V was curious if this was something he'd put actual thought into.
"Anyone with tits and a pussy." He said.
"That narrows it down a bit. I'm all for fucking chicks, but can we be a little more... selective?"
"Selective? The fuck does that mean?" Johnny furrowed his brow.
"No back alley hookers for one." V explained.
"Joytoys need attention too, V."
"Wait, so you'll bitch about flirting with Judy, but you're okay with back alley hookers?" She asked.
"Don't get me started on Judy," he warned, passing her the cigarette.
"Sound a little jealous there, Silverhand."
"Never been jealous before, ain't about to start." He shook his head.
V grinned and scooted closer, placing her hand on his shoulder, "don't deny it, you get all grumpy when Judy's around."
"Don't get grumpy either." He shrugged her hand off his shoulder.
V burst out laughing, even though it hurt to do so. "When are you not grumpy?"
"All the time, just said it," he replied without hesitation.
"Liar," V said, feeling his side for another cigarette.
"Told ya smoking is bad. No more," he grumbled, pushing her hand away.
"Seriously? Your first words when you crawled out of my psyche were where are my smokes." V reached for him again.
"No more. Need to keep your health up, what's left of it." He grabbed her wrist.
"Johnny, how do you feel when you're denied smokes?" She inquired.
"Doesn't matter what I feel, this is about you." He pulled another cigarette out and lit it.
"I'm literally getting taken over by you. Give me a goddamn cigarette." She reached for the one between his lips, but he caught her arms.
"Don't make me tie you up." He was able to hold her arms back with little effort.
If V hadn't been curious about him tying her up, she would've been concerned about her lack of strength.
"You wouldn't. Plus, you need me mobile so we can destroy shit."
"Not tonight, I don't. Told you to rest," he warned again.
"I'm not tired. At least let me sit up and smoke with you," V pushed, scooting closer to him.
"You're being more annoying than usual. Upset I used your body without permission?"
"Used my body would be an understatement. You took my body for a joyride." V tried for the cigarette again, this time winning the fight.
She knew it was only because he allowed her too though.
"Got you back in one piece, didn't I?" He asked.
"Barely. I'll need a week soaking in a tub and another week to sleep." She put the cigarette up to her lips.
"Gonna have to accept sleeping on a bed stained with bodily fluids and a shower that might not work."
"You couldn't bring me to a resort?" V joked.
"I brought you here for a reason, V," he admitted without so much as a glance in her direction.
V sat up a little more, "what reason is that? Getting tetanus?"
"Can you stand?" He turned towards her.
"Yeah, wh-"
"Come over here." He stood without explanation.
V slid off the bed and stood up slowly, letting her legs adjust for a moment before straightening up. She shuffled towards the kitchen, trying to avoid the large stains on the floor.
"Open up that cabinet and lift up the bottom board." He leaned against the wall while she carefully crouched to open it up.
"What am I lookin' for?" She asked, searching for a good spot to lift up the board.
She popped the board out and sat it to the side. She reached in and grabbed two metal dog tags on a chain.
"Are these-"
"Mine." He answered.
V sat back against the wall, turning the tags in her hands, "they've been here all this time?"
"Had to pry that board up myself," he said, stepping in front of her.
"Johnny... I- why are you giving me these?" V felt the significance of the moment right away. Johnny wouldn't do something like that if it was meaningless to him.
"Never found anyone worthy of having them, not one, until I met you, V." Johnny struggled to look up at her.
"Johnny-"
"You had to accept me coming into your life with no warning. Probably know me better than anyone ever has." He watched as she put them around her neck.
"Really didn't have much of a choice, but I'll be honest, I like having you around," V replied, letting the tags rest between her cleavage.
"Of all the people I could've ended up stuck in, I'm glad it was you."
The softest grin played on his lips and V realized it was the first time she'd seen him genuinely smile. No hint of anger, spite, or sarcasm at all.
She could've come back with a snarky comment like their usual banter but reconsidered. She couldn't ruin the surprisingly soft side he just revealed.
"I uh... thanks, Johnny. Means a lot." She stepped closer and kissed his cheek.
Johnny tensed and V froze, both of them realizing they'd never actually been this close to one another, even though they were connected. V placed her hand on his cheek and turned towards him, hesitating before pressing her lips to his softly.
V noticed his hesitation immediately and began to pull away, but he grabbed her hips and brought her back.
"You don't have to... I- I probably shouldn't have... "
He silenced her with a soft kiss that quickly turned harsh. He grabbed the back of her neck and pulled her in closer, his lips moving perfectly against hers. When he finally released her she was in a daze, feeling like the breath had been taken from her lungs.
"Johnny, I-"
"Been curious about that." He said.
"Yeah? Why'd you wait so long?" She teased as she tried to regain her composure.
"Didn't think you wanted it. Why'd you waste your time on the cop?"
"Just can't let that go, can ya?" She laughed and leaned in for a hug.
"Never will. Still annoys me." He pulled her in and held her pressed against his chest.
"I wouldn't have fucked him had I known you wanted this." V was enjoying the softness of his touch as he ran his hands down her sides to her hips.
"Guess we need to communicate better," he said.
"And here I thought our problem was too much communication." She kissed his neck without thinking and paused, unsure if he was ready for more.
Johnny let out a soft sigh, "you need to rest."
"I'm not tired. Especially not now." V said, not moving away from him.
"Not really sure of this is a good idea." Johnny said.
"Since when do you worry about that?" V pressed her lips to his neck again.
"Since I started to like havin' you around," he admitted, but he made no move to stop you.
"Isn't that a good reason to keep going?" She pulled back, searching his expression for an answer.
"Relationships with me tend to break down once the fucking starts."
"It's not like you can leave though." V shrugged.
"Might not work out like you think." He  stood still and let her continue to kiss along his jaw.
"It might work out better than you think." V placed her hand on his chest.
"Stop and think it over before you keep doin' that, V." He let out a low grunt as she continued to kiss closer to his lips.
"Already thought about it, Johnny," she whispered, breath hot against his skin.
His hand was around her throat in an instant as he shifted their positions, pressing her back against the wall.
"Ain't no going back after. Sure you want this?" Johnny's lips were close, but just out of reach for her.
"Yes, Johnny. Tell me you don't?" She was already panting for him.
"Pretty sure you know the answer to that, V," he said softly.
"Then take what you want," she whispered, eyes darting between his eyes and lips.
"Exactly what I've always done and it usually doesn't end well."
"But not with me." V was struggling to keep from begging.
"V-"
"Please, Johnny?" She asked softly, hoping he'd give in to what they both wanted.
He pulled her into a harsh kiss, making her moan at the sudden contact.
His hands moved down her sides to grab the hem of her tanktop and pull it over her head. The sound of his dog tags clinging as they fell back to her chest was like music to his ears.
Johnny returned his lips to hers as if he was dying for another taste. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him flush against her. His hands moved down to her pants, working at the button and her belt until he could push her pants down to her knees.
He had to concentrate on being gentle with her after what happened. That wasn't his usual style, but for her, he was willing to change things up. He was finally understanding why it could be satisfying to put someone else's needs above his own. V more than deserved that, especially after he was dropped unceremoniously into her psyche.
"Damn shoes." She sighed as she worked to get them off.
"No rush, V." Johnny said as he trailed his lips down her neck.
She finally got them off and shuffled out of her pants. She pulled him close and kissed him again, needing to feel his lips against her once more.
"We're going slow. Can't have you feeling worse." He slowly walked her towards the bed and gently laid her down.
"You don't have to treat me like glass, Johnny. Not gonna break that easy."
"No doubts that you're tough, V. But you need to take it easy." He crawled on the bed and peeled her panties off, settling between her thighs.
"Just relax," he said as he lowered his head and slid his tongue up her cunt.
V inhaled sharply at the feeling of his tongue flicking over her clit.
"Fuck, Johnny." She squirmed.
"Still, V." He ordered and ducked his head back down to focus on eating her out.
She gripped the sheets beneath her and tried to stay still, but it was proving to be a lot harder than she thought.
The only sounds in the room were her shallow breaths and the faint sound of Johnny's tongue lapping at her clit.
The bed creaked beneath her the harder he pressed her into the mattress.
"Johnny..." V panted for him the closer she got to coming.
"Let go for me, V." Johnny said.
She held on as long as she could, not ready for it to end.
"Don't be stubborn, V," he said, breath warm against her skin.
"You're the stubborn one, Johnny, remember?" She moaned as she squirmed beneath him.
Johnny grinned and dove back in, moving his tongue faster and easing two fingers into her. V bucked and writhed  until she couldn't hold on any longer.
"Fuck... don't stop- right there." She moaned loudly as she came.

She Loves Me Not- Chapter 1-An Owl House Fanfic.
Tumblr media
Willow had had just about enough.
When she first realized Amity's obvious crush on Luz it had been somewhat funny. Seeing her serious and studious childhood friend being turned into a red-faced stammering mess by the human girl couldnt help but cause her to snicker. But after nearly three weeks of seeing Amity practically swoon as soon as Luz so much as gazed in her general direction and her friend still being almost painfully oblivious to her affections, Willow decided something needed to change.
She knew that if she just told Luz about Amity's crush, the witch would personally sic her largest abomination on her. So she would have to help Luz figure it out on her own. Which would be difficult as it seemed like Luz was especially dense when it came to Amity's feelings about her.
Case in point, when Amity leapt up from their lunch table with her face the color of blood and Luz's only response was "huh, guess something didn't agree with her." Willow was tempted to bang her head against the table.
Thankfully, she found the perfect moment while the two of them where walking down the hall and Luz had started talking about a new piece of Azura fanfiction she'd read.
"So then Azura pushes Hecate out of the way and takes the blow from the burning heckhound! Horrified by whats happened to her friend, Hecate is filled with rage and power and defeats the monster with one powerful blast of magic!" Luz swept her arm in excitement, just narrowly missing hitting Willows forehead. She chuckled nervously after noticing. "Sorry. Anyway, Hecate runs to Azura's side and cradles her in her arms. Hecate asks "why would you do that?" And Azura says "I couldn't lose you." Oh, it was just so romantic!"
Willow raised a brow at Luz's word choice. "Romantic?"
"Yeah. I mean, the author isn't really a Heczula shipper but the way they interact in the story just gives such a really strong romantic vibe. I tried telling the same thing to Amity but she said she didn't really see it."
Resisiting the urge to smile at the irony, Willow carefully asked. "So, Amity isn't really into romance?"
"Oh no, she's actually a HUGE Heczula fan. In fact she even showed me some really great fan art she'd done. I actually asked her about working together to make our own special Heczula piece. Marry our skills so to speak."
She could just imagine Amity's response to that. Still keeping her expression as neutral as possible, Willow pressed on.
"Speaking of Amity and romance, has she talked to her crush yet?"
Luz frowned. "No. And I don't know why. I mean, I get that she was afraid of being rejected but its Amity. She's smart, talented, cute. No way someone would reject her."
Okay, Luz calling Amity "cute" wasn't a bad sign. "Maybe its because she's already got a relationship with this person. You know, like a friendship shes scared of messing up."
Luz immediately struck a hand out in front of Willow and they both came to a stop. The human girl gasped like a banshee, practically sucking in air.
"Of course! She's developed feelings for a friend and now fears her romantic attraction will end up damaging their friendship if she reveals it! Its such a common romance trope, how could've I have missed that?!" She gave another loud gasp. "Ogmigosh. I know who Amity's crush is!"
Willow couldn't help but smirk. About time.
"Its you Willow! Amity has a crush on you!"
Willows left eye started to twitch and she internally groaned at her friend once again drawing the wrong conclusion.
Mustering up as much effort as possible, she calmly asked. "What makes you think that?"
"Well it all fits. You two were close childhood friends before suddenly being separated. You've started rebuilding your relationship which probably caused her to realize that her feelings for you went beyond friendship and because things only just started getting better between you she's scared of admitting her feelings because she doesn't want to lose you again!" Luz declared, looking extremely pleased with herself.
Okay, that actually made since. "Yeah. But you know Luz...that could also apply to you too."
Luz's pride turned to confusion. "What?"
"Well, you two only recently became friends after not liking each other and she might not want to mess up your friendship since its so new." Willow said slowly, hoping it would finally sink in to her.
Luz stared at her for a moment before bursting into laughter.
After a round of giggles, she wiped a tear from her eye. "Thats ridiculous. Amity couldn't have a crush on me!"
At this point Willow couldn't swallow the annoyance when she replied. "And why not?!"
She expected to hear "we're just friends " or "we danced at Grom" as Luz's defense but what she said next completely shocked her.
"Amity would never be interested someone like me."
Both the statement and the paradoxical chuckle Luz gave while saying it zapped away whatever anger Willow had at her obliviousness and replaced it with intense confusion.
"What are you talking about? Why wouldn't Amity be interested in you?"
"Because Amity is, well, Amity and I'm me." The way Luz said it, t as if it should be completely obvious, caused Willow to get a twisted feeling in her stomach. Before she could say anything Luz pressed on.
"I mean, Amity's a skilled witch, Hexsides top student, she's planning on being part of the emperors coven one day! Plus she's rich, popular, she makes great fanart. And me? I'm...barely able to do magic. And I can't even do it the right way like you guys thanks to my stupid human organs. I'm not even a real witch. I mean, if Amity had a crush on me, you really think she'd be afraid of me rejecting her?"
Willow just stared at her in stunned silence. She was waiting for Luz to yell "kidding" or say that this was just a joke and she'd known about Amity's crush the whole time. But the bittersweet smile on Luz's face told her that she was completely serious.
She couldn't believe it. Luz, quite possibly the nicest person she knew, the one who tried to help her with a school project at the risk of being violently dissected, the one who'd managed to get past Amity's walls and become her friend, honestly thought that Amity didn't consider her good enough to have a crush on.
"Luz, I'm sure Amity doesn't think that way." Willow argued. "You two are friends now! You have that book club thing you do together! She doesn't think of you as less than her! In fact, I bet if you asked she'd definitely say she would be interested in you!"
Hopefully that would kill two birds with one stone.
"I can't do that Willow. Like you said, things are good between me and Amity. The last thing I want is to scare her off because she thinks I got feelings for her." Luz looked to the side and muttered. "I don't want to end up losing another friend because I pushed too much."
Her voice was so low Willow almost didn't hear her. She couldn't help but notice her use of word in particular. "Another?"
Luz winced, clearly not having wanted Willow to hear her but seeing the look her friend was giving, she began to explain.
"Back at my human school I would sometimes manage to meet people who had some of the same interests I did, like Azura or Anime. We'd talk about it, meet up, it was almost like we were friends."
Luz sighed
"But eventually, I'd do something. Somthing too weird or too much. Maybe even something that ccidentally ended up getting us in trouble. And then...they didn't want to be friends anymore."
The whole time Luz spoke her voice cracked, and Willow noticed a twinkle in the corner of her eye. The defeated expression on Luz's face seemed almost alien compared to her usual beaming face.
"Luz.....".
Upon seeing the sympathetic look on her friends face, Luz cleared her throat, plastered a smile on her face and tried to unnoticingly wipe the corner of her eye.
"But, anyway, thats my point. Amity and I are at a good place and I don't need to go asking her questions that might make her uncomfortable just to make myself feel better."
Noticing that she hadn't managed to ease her friend, Luz added. "Hey, come on, relax. Its not like I don't think anyone could like me But Amity? Trust me, I think she's be a bit out of my league. Now come on, we should get to class."
"You go ahead. I'll catch up."
As she watched Luz walk away, their entire conversation replayed in her mind. She couldn't believe her friend honestly thought that way about herself. She truly thought she wasn't good enough for Amity to like.
Willow knew one thing, still felt like she had before. She'd had enough. She wasn't going to let Luz keep thinking like that about herself. She was going to do something about it.
And she knew just what that something was.

Rewriting The CW's Kung Fu, Part 9: Reflections and Moving Forward
Tumblr media
And we have reached the end of our Kung Fu journey. If you haven't seen where we began, here's a handy guide to the previous posts:
Part 1: The Characters
Part 2: The Pilot
Part 3: The Mythology
Part 4: The Story Map
Part 5: Act I
Part 6: Act II
Part 7: Act III
Part 8: The Finale
Before I start with the lessons I learned and my other reflections, I want to thank @flailingbloo for all of her help and support in this endeavor. Without her to talk to and commiserate with, I would probably have gotten stuck in Act II forever and everything I've written would've been riddled with spelling errors and grammatical mistakes. So my eternal gratitude to flailingbloo. And now, we begin:
Tumblr media
Lessons.
Going into this writing exercise, I already knew it was going to be hard. Writing stories is time-consuming, it's nerve-wracking, and it takes a lot of research...and patience. Writing, especially for television, is also not a solitary task. I mean, sure, the writing itself needs to be done alone--but everything that comes before, during, and after the writing needs input from so many people.
Although I have a lot (and I mean A LOT) of complaints about how The CW's Kung Fu was handled and written, I do have a lot of respect for the work that the writers put into their scripts. And I do appreciate all that they have done to have a show like this produced.
Doing this rewrite, I learned that it's really important to make the main character likeable. Like, every episode I broke down, I had to ask myself: is Nicky likeable here? Is she someone who viewers would want to root for? Like, for me she is, but only people who read what I wrote can say for sure. My perspective is now a bit skewered because I have bias.
Second, story maps are very helpful. There were times, especially during Part 6 (where I wrote breakdowns for Episodes 6 to 9) where I kept getting road-blocked by where I want the story to go. So I went back to the story map over and over again, to remind myself--where does the story itself need to go? How do I help the characters get to the point where they're ready for what needs to happen? (This is also where flailingbloo helped the most for me. Like, she really reminded me why I was doing this rewrite in the first place. Because I care about Nicky and the show. I wouldn't have funneled so much of my time and effort into this if I didn't.)
Another thing I learned, or rather re-learned, is the art of letting go. I created the character of Stanley to recur throughout the series as a reminder of who Nicky was and who she is becoming. And then I finished writing the first act without even mentioning him. By the second act, I was ready to use him finally--but, after multiple false starts, I realized Stanley was one of the reasons why I was having a hard time pushing Nicky's story forward. Because I kept trying to go back to the past. So I decided in the writing of the second act to shelve Stanley completely, only to find him popping up in the second to last episode in a, at least I hope, more organic way.
The last thing I learned in this exercise was that, whenever a new character needs to come in, I have to look at my existing characters first to see if any one of them can fulfill the role I needed for the story. Like, creating new villains for Nicky was fun, sure--but, at the same time, I realized that there were already existing villains that could recur. Like the Triad, who played villains in two more episodes after the pilot; and Henry's martial arts class at the community center became the source of two existing storylines from the actual show.
Tumblr media
Reflections.
Do I think what my rewrite is better than the show? To me, yes. But, again, I am very biased. That said, I am proud of how I utilized the characters that the show created and didn't really give much importance to. Dennis, when he was introduced, felt like a rich character that could provide a very different point-of-view from the Shen siblings--but he was mostly relegated to being eye-candy. And I thought I gave him more meat by making him more involved in Althea's sexual harassment storyline, while also involving him in Nicky's stories.
That said, I also realize that I wasn't able to play up Nicky and Evan's past relationship as I was writing the episodic breakdowns. I was able to give them a lot of opportunities to explore their chemistry together, as I did with Nicky and Henry, but I kind of dropped the ball as a writer on guiding those planted moments into something more significant. Granted, I only wrote breakdowns and not actual scripts. Maybe I could've explored the romance angle more with a little sprinkle of direction and dialogue.
As I went deeper into the rewrite, I do see how easy it is to fall in love with characters as you write them. It's very easy to trap yourself into wanting villains to be more well-rounded. I keep having to remind myself that I don't have to redeem everyone. Just Nicky. Which became harder and harder as I went further and further into the story.
Another thing that became difficult as I went on? Keeping the mythology from just bursting open. That's how Henry, as I wrote him, evolved into becoming the son of a guardian--just so there's a reason for him to be so invested in Nicky's quest, while also having someone who can explain things to our main character. I'm actually really proud of that evolution.
All that said, I also have to recognize that I rewrote the show with the benefit of hindsight and the lack of budget constraints. In the real show, there's a group of writers who each have their own ideas of what the show should be. (This is where a head writer--not a show runner--would come in handy, so they could reel in the story to what needs to be told.) With more writers comes more chances for inconsistencies to happen. (And this is where a script supervisor, or a writing assistant, could come in handy.) And then there's production notes and budget. Not to mention, you know, the whole pandemic that's still happening. I didn't have to think about those things while doing this rewrite.
So, again, I want to give the writers kudos to actually producing scripts. I hope they haven't lost their minds--or their will to write--just because there are people like me who nitpick at everything. That's what people who love things do. We nitpick because we care.
Tumblr media
Moving forward.
I do plan to stick with the real show for Season 2. I hope it's planned better. I hope they get researchers (plural!) and a writing assistant to help in the writing room. I hope the writers would sit down with the cast to discuss and develop the characters more. And I really hope they hire a better fight choreographer and fight director for the second season. (Like, rehire the people who choreographed and filmed the flashback scene in... Episode 11? The one with Nicky's maternal grandmother and Pei-Ling's own mother?)
I hope that the Nicky-Henry relationship gets explored realistically, and if a potential new love interest is ordered, they get introduced in a way that isn't antagonistic. Make them more well-rounded characters too, please. Make us want to root for their success. And while I think Nicky doesn't have an iota of chemistry with Evan, I do like Evan himself as a character. So I hope they get him more involved in future storylines--as an outsider looking in, sure, but also as an honorary member of the Shen family.
With regards to the Shen family, I do hope that we get to explore their relationships and dreams more before the show drops the reveal about Mei-Xue's daughter. I want Althea to have a cohesive storyline that doesn't pause for no reason. I want Ryan to explore being Asian AND gay as a first-generation Asian-American. And give the Shen siblings some recurring friends. They don't have to be semi-regulars (unless there's a story that can be explored) but let's not keep the Shens in a bubble. It was weird in the first season. Especially for Althea whose friends only showed up for her bachelorette party and never again. Not even when she was panicking about wedding preparations, which, considering how rich Dennis's parents were? They wouldn't let Althea be in charge of anything. They would hire a Chinese wedding coordinator. And an expensive and hard-to-book one at that. They donated an entire hospital wing, for crying out loud.
I want Jin to have an actual character, and not just be the supportive dad who loves his kids very much (admittedly my own rewrite also made this same mistake). And I want Mei-Li to be consistent as a character. Like, no more surprise twists about being the descendant of a legendary warrior without proper foreshadowing and plot-planting please.
Dennis shouldn't just be eye-candy. The same applies to Kerwin. Sure, I get that shirtless men are a must in a CW series, but please give their characters some meat too. Dennis's nerd-side was never showcased in the show, and Kerwin had that poor little rich boy background that didn't get explored either. Because the show was too busy keeping him and Zhi-Lan tearing each others' clothes off--when they're not tearing other people down.
Also, don't drop the ball on the tease that Bian-Ge is now everywhere. If I understood correctly, Bian-Ge is Kung Fu's version of Qi. If yes, then I hope they treat it respectfully as a force of nature--and not just the source of magic. The flowers from Bian-Ge itself can be magical, sure, I have no problem with a fictional flower being a McGuffin.
Finally, I hope the show also explores other Asian communities and cultures. Like, Kung Fu is great--but imagine if Nicky had to face someone who is versed in Silat Melayu? Or someone who uses Arnis? Someone who practices Kalaripayattu or Lathi Khela? Or Kuntao? Imagine Nicky having to use Wing Chun against someone who uses Karate or Krav-Maga? Asia is a big continent and there are so many different types of martial arts found from the Middle East to Southeast Asia. Kung-Fu is an umbrella term, so it'll be great to see the different styles found under it.
... This went long again. Sorry about that. Funny thing is, when I started this whole rewriting plan? I thought it would take three posts, tops. And look at us now. Nine posts deep, and it seems I still haven't run out of things to say. So I'm cutting myself off before I completely wear out my welcome.
But if you've read all my Kung Fu posts, please do reach out. Let's discuss the show and what it can do to produce a better second season.

Note
Whoo. That pilot was--a lot to unpack. Parts of it were definitely 😬 *cringe* but I also find myself grateful that the network recognized its potential and liked the heart of it enough to bring on a new creative team.
Like, reading all the slides with Cleo I realized what I'd been missing in Zarah-this pilot really stressed the loving relationships of the murdered man's family and actually let Cleo react to his death while our Zarah told Layton a grand total of ONCE that Sean Wise was 'someone she loved' but then never mentioned/mourned him (or her other partners who just? disappeared?? They were led away in handcuffs, were they ever released? Were they drawered? Did they blame Zarah and therefore just never return to the home they'd shared? What side did they take in the rebellion? Like, what happened to these people?!) again. And from that moment on her character seemed so untethered--so unattached to the rest of what was taking place because she had no emotional center. This great, traumatic event that should have been both her character motivation and kept her tethered to the action/investigation was just kinda--swept to the side. Like, if we had gotten a Zarah who was more like Cleo, who pestered Layton, regardless of their thorny past, for updates on the investigation and had to be the rock for her mourning family and who stood solidly with Miss Audrey in righteous anger for the blue-eyed firstie who did this horrible thing--I would've enjoyed her so much more! And Ugh! Jinju and Till being supportive and cute From The Start(!) was 😍. Just--the fact that the focus on healthy love and affection happened to be centered on a polyamorous family and a lesbian couple was great.
But there were other things in the Pilot that seemed so-tonally different and just questionable. Like maayyybe making Layton a chronole 'stoner' was an indicator that parts of his character were drawn not just from the hero Curtis in the movie but also Namgoog, the security specialist. And mayyybe they weren't trying to be completely blind to the fact that their black protagonist deserves as much heart and conviction as his white counterpart in the movie, but. Yikes. Making him addicted to chronole and so...morose/spaced out all the time robs him of that drive and conviction that would make me believe any of the Tailies would rally behind him. Our Layton is a go-getter, a man of action and this guy in the pilot was...not. So...props to Graeme for making our Layton so much better!
But also--WHY would they choose to stress to us that Osweiller is a footballer JUST to freeze his foot off? In both the show and film the limb removal scenes really hammered home how cruel the HUMANS on the train chose to be to each other. And the freezing of the cattle car itself should've been enough to remind us the world outside is treacherous and inhospitable--they didn't have to try so hard to show us that any act of kindness or altruism on the train is futile. Like after seeing THAT, what the hell could possibly help move Till in the direction of choosing compassion and justice for the Tail?!
But I digress-I think the areas I'm most grateful for change were in regards to our season 1 powerhouses, Layton and Melanie. And some of it was so subtle but made SUCH a difference, like pilot Melanie's quirk was tapping her acrylic nails against her teeth--a sign that 1) she's perfectly happy reaping the benefits of 1st class life and 2) she's always thinking/conniving/SCHEMING. But OUR Melanie has a habit of rubbing her neck when she's stressed--as if THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD/HUMANITY IS ON HER SHOULDERS. Pilot Melanie is also uppity and shows up early to catch people off-guard. Our Melanie is quiet and studious when we first meet her-gauging the situation, letting Layton and others reveal their hand first-and she shows up late/after the main players are already gathered BECAUSE SHE HAS TO BE EVERYWHERE. But honestly I think the change I am absolutely most grateful for (aside from pretty much everything, lol. Like, I canNOT IMAGINE Alison Wright as Lilah instead of Ruth. And letting Miles actively seek the engineer apprenticeship to help the rebellion instead of having Layton(?) who is neither this child's father nor his active mentor (literally all they do is wrangle rats together in the pilot) make that choice for him WITHOUT his actual mother's consent was clearly a stroke of genius. As was just...not focusing so much on cow 18. Like. We get it. They're like animals crammed together in a cattle car. There is no reason to make so many Holocaust references in the first five pages of the script. There are other, far less jarring ways to convey human suffering and misery on this fictional show about a manmade Armageddon. -_-) is the ommission of the shady magistrate as part of the leadership/inner circle/cult.
Having him and that other guy making the decisions/embodying the ACTION of those decisions moving forward if this pilot had been their opener would've really detracted from the heft of Melanie's secret--like in the finished product, we have Melanie behind the curtain, an engineer by trade who clung to this cruel/unfair system all for the sake of keeping the train, the thing she built and the hope it represents, ALIVE and moving. It was a choice that didn't feel like a choice. A necessity. And yet she was changed by it. The mask of Wilford is harsh and she has to become harsh. She wears all these hats and leans on others when she has to (like Ben, Jinju, etc) or when a situation is truly dire, but there is no room for doubt that it is HER decision at the end of the day. She's the one who saves the train over and over when mechanics fail. And she's the one who decides to commute LJ's sentence. The Wilford mask/veil has allowed her the freedom to make these absolute decisions without oversight-so SHE alone bears the brunt of the consequences. There's no one else to blame, which made for some of the most delicious drama on the show when that secret was brought to light. How Melanie related to individuals (like Ruth, Layton, etc.) and how she related to the passengers as a whole was suddenly, VIOLENTLY, upended and allowed for really tense character moments.
And we wouldn't have gotten that if they had kept the shady magistrate stepping in to try to strong arm Jinju and others into doing the cult's will.
Like, maybe it could've panned out in a satisfying way but I will never forget how excited I was when we got the "I have the train" exchange in the first episode that revealed it was a WOMAN at the helm. A smart, cunning, hard to read but delightful to watch woman who'd been hiding in plain sight, in a uniform that screams 'subservient' and 'service' but had been popping up continually in places and spaces that seemed better suited to the men running the investigation and security/murder squad-this woman is shown to be in charge of it. ALL of it. The good (the beautiful aquarium, life in perfect balance, etc.) AND the bad (the Tail and it's horrors). THAT moment was really the one where I thought "I'm hooked. I wanna see where this goes." And so I'm so glad they cut the magistrate - and cult, honestly - out.
Anyway, sorry for the ramble! Thanks for sharing that pilot stuff! It has given me much to think about! :)
Breaking this down into parts again here we go!
1. Yes!! Exactly!! Cleo was given so much depth and room to grieve and have that actually be part of her storyline unlike Zarah. So I did really like that.
2. They made Layton SO much better good god. Like. Thankfully they improved his character.
3. I don't honestly know?? Like maybe to show what it does to humans?? No idea.
4. Y e a h exactly. We all love an unhinged woman but pilot Melanie was...yikes. Like...she genuinely seemed so happy to be in 1st class and have this power to be Wilford's chosen hospitality worker and scare people. And Alison Wright as Lilah would be so cute though, I wanna see it akdjsksi
5. YEAH THE MAGISTRATE GUY IS JUST REALLY NOT IT. He is not who we want he's just?? Seemingly one of the second in commands in Melanie's cult, which is odd but oh well.

I watch from afar, seeing Billy step out from the gate of the public pool. Every teen girl and elder woman watching hsi movements as he steps towards his tall seat post.
Even the female lifeguard checking him put as well, as Billy passed shirtless in his red life guard shorts.
I sigh, rolling my eyes at my foolishness, as I petal on my black bike slowly once more from the street. Billy passes a corner of the pool, the sunlight showcasing his smooth tan. He pauses before the seat, glancing around with a smirk as the wind blew softly, making his hair sway behind him.
He glances farther behind him, seeing me pass by with a frown, as I ignore his look and disappear down the street.
-
I sit at Pete's silently, reading to To Kill A Mockingbird. A few other customers conversing to others around the large red, blue, and white diner interior. The door opens, the bell ringing above it to alert the staff of another customer.
A weight shifts on the other both seat across of mine, my eyes glancing over the too edge of my book. My green eyes connecting to Billy's bright blue ones, matching his blue denim jacket.
He keeps the stare, leaning forward onto the table to move closer. His eyes glancing down to my food, and looking back for assurance. I give a slight nod and continue reading as Billy eats the rest of my burger and fries.
Billy kicks his fingers slowly, staring at me with a certain look. My eyes stay captivated, wanting to know what he intends to do.
"Why did you ignore me?" He speaks finally, pulling my book down from my face. Noticing my red lips, from nervous biting, and the white wrap around my left forearm.
His eyes shoot to it as his hands lift my arm to check it.
"What happened?" He asks, and I stay silent, keeping my eyes away.
"Anwser me." He pushes with a deeper voice.
"I got into a fight." I reply softly, connecting our eyes.
"With who?" He continues, letting my arm go but still holding my hand.
"No one special." I respond, and he frowns deeper, pulling away. He softly glares at me, leaning away in his side of the booth as I shift uncomfortably.
I move to stand, getting ready to pay for my food and leave. Billy stands, following me, quickly paying and pulling me outside. The sky darkening to a violet and pink shade as the sun began to set.
"Tell me now." Billy orders and I pull away quickly.
"Why is it important?" I retort and he sighs stepping away towards his car. He turns after a few minutes and steps back up to me in the parking lot.
"Because you got hurt, and I'll hurt the person who hurt you." Billy replies, grabbing my left hand to gesture to my wrap.
"It was some girl from a county over, she was at the pool today." I say, and Billy makes a confused expression.
"Why did you fight?"
"Becuase we did."
"That's not the answer."
"Well, its the one I'm giving you."
"Then, you can call me when you get the chance to give me one." Billy replies, shocking me as he goes to his car and leaves the diner quickly. I stare at the empty street darkness claiming the sky now as I grab my bike and walk towards my house farther in Hawkins.
--
I stand in my bathing suit, staring at myself in the mirror, debating on leaving with it on in public. My blue one piece swim suit, revealing a decent amount of skin. The back open till just at my hips, the sides just covering my breasts, and the design was a plaid of red, blue, and a cyan colour.
I sigh, nodding to myself as I pull on a pair of black short shorts that hug my lower body, and I grab Billy's light blue dress t-shirt. The shirts sleeves quickly being rolled up to the edge of my upper arm before my shoulder, as the the bottom of it hangs as far as the short shorts at the tops of my thighs.
I tie the edge of his shirt together, making it hang now at my waist, still showcasing the front of my suit that showed. I climbed down the stairs of my hosue, and grabbing the keys to my car.
-
I step through the gate of the public pool, many people staring at me, men and women. My dark glasses the same as Billy's, my bright red hair in a high pony tail that makes my curly hair look larger.
I step around the pool searching for Billy as I passed the mothers, the children and the. finally teens. I decide to give up after a few minutes of searching, heading back to the gate as I see Billy pulling into the parking lot outside the pool gates.
I step out towards him, his body scanning my car confused as I step out to great him. He ignores my steps slowly turning to face me.
"No thanks." He says as he moves to pass me, my heart sinking for a second and raising in another after thinking through what he meant. That he stays faithful, ignoring others and what they want from him.
"Not even for me?" I joke out, meaning against my car. Billy pausing to face me as he stood a few feet away. He takes off his glasses after a minute, scanning me.
"Leona?" He says, and I give him a nod and pull my glasses off. His eyes darken as he steps closer to me.
"Plese tell me that you wore that for me?" He asks, his voice husky.
"Mhm." I reply, untying his shirt to pull it off to show my bathing suit.
"Naughty. But, you still need to tell me." Billy breaks the moment with a smirk, staring at my body.
"I fought a girl after I told her to back off and stop sexualizing you as you are already taken. She knew it, and taunted me, her friends adding in till she made up a lie about sleeping with you. I stopped thinking after that part." I finish, and cross my arms, looking away as the glances to my left arm. A light bruise of a hand print showing on my tan skin.
"You did it for me?" Billy asks rhetorically, pulling me close to him.
"Yep, and I don't regret it. They should know by now who you are with." I say, holding his hips so I could keep him close.
"You could've told me."
"I know. But, I- I don't like the way they look at you." I finish and Billy smiles this time.
"I am hot," I glare at him. "but you are mine too. I don't like the way those morons oogle at you, especially right now." Billy covers me in his shirt again and pulls me close.
"Tell me next time, and I'll announce it to everyone, babe." Billy says, and leans to kiss me.
"I think I beat you to it, boyfriend." I reply and giggle a little before locking our lips. The blooming love and want growing with each movement of our lips, our Hope's as well.

Put Your Head On My Shoulder
Chapter 2: Maybe You And I Will Fall In Love
When I woke up, my first thought was of Gerard, the hippie I met last night. Immediately, I felt regret. I know I shouldn't be thinking of someone else when I'm perfectly happy in my current relationship, especially a man. I can't help myself though. What I felt in that one conversation was almost everything I was missing in my daily interactions with other people. He seemed genuinely interested, and no one has been that interested in me since Jamia and Bennie.
Gerard was the main thing running around in my mind while I did my usual morning routine. The thing was though was that it didn't bother me one bit. I was perfectly happy thinking of him all morning. The smallest things that reminded me of him, like my pomade, made me smile. There was something about Gerard that put me at ease. I knew that I needed to see him today, even if it's only for a minute or less. I even dressed nicer than I usually do. The main reason is because of the dance Jamia and I are going to later this evening. The other reason is because of Gerard. I want to look nice for him, and I'm hoping that he will dress as nicely as I imagined last night. My mind can only wonder.
I headed down the street in the same direction as Gerard went last night. Anxiously, I looked down both sides of the street as if he could pop out at any moment now. I don't know why I was so anxious. Gerard could just see me as a friend after all, and I would be the fool rushing into this. I walked into town, but still no sign of Gerard. Where would a New Jersey hippie go at 10 am?
That's when I came upon a roadside flower shop. Gerard was slightly leaning over a section of pansies with a judgemental look on his face. At this moment, I could've sworn my heart went off on a highspeed chase then. I smiled softly to myself and with a skip in my step, I approached him. "The fact that I find the likes of you by a flower shop," I smirked.
Gerard looked up now. I could tell he was a little surprised by the greeting. Now he smiled at me. "What can I say? Flowers are beautiful specimens!" He chirped, plucking a flower out to inspect it. "Like this one! Pretty little petals, hm?" He held it out to me now. The pansy he picked had dark violet petals with a bold black center. I smiled. "Pretty."
Gerard smiled softly at my response, which set my heart on another chase. Now he tucked the pansy back with the rest. "What flowers would work for uh...what're those things called? Corsages?" He sniffed as he swept his gaze over the variety of flower breeds presented in front of him.
"Why do you need a corsage?" I asked, genuinely curious. This provoked Gerard to look at me with a serious look in his hazel eyes.
"Isn't there a dance tonight?"
Now I stared at Gerard. How did he know about the dance? Did I say something about it last night? "There is--"
"Aha! Do you think you could take me to the dance? I dropped out of high school before I could attend those silly things," Gerard interrupted. He bit his lip and tucked some of his long hair behind his ears. "Y'see, I never had anyone to go with, but now that I've...met you, I thought you'd take me."
I looked at Gerard blankly. Oh, he's not going to like the news I'm going to tell him. "I'm already going with someone, Gerard." His face told me everything he was feeling. That was enough to make me feel terrible. "But if you'd like to catch up after the dance, we can."
Gerard shook his head. "It's fine," He muttered. "You can spend the night with them."
"It's not 'fine,'" I protested. I took a step closer to him and spoke in a quieter tone before anyone could catch on to our conversation. "I would like to take you to the dance, but I don't think they'd let you in. The school, I mean."
Gerard waved me off. "Yeah, yeah, I know that. As I said, it's fine." He let out a sigh now and took a step back. "Look, I'm gonna go. See ya around, Frankie."
I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs and stop Gerard from walking further away from me, but he was already a half-block away. My heart sunk. There is nothing else I could do. I wasn't sure if I'd see him again. Was this the end? This can't be...
--
At seven sharp, I was at Jamia's front door as I had promised her. Behind my back was a bouquet of flowers that I picked out at the flower shop earlier in the day. I also bought a corsage, or two. I was still hopeful to see Gerard tonight, and I hope that I could make it up to him by giving him the corsage he wanted. I waited for about a half minute until the door finally opened to reveal Jamia. The sight of her in the dress she wore nearly took my breath away. The dress hugged her slim torso and at the waistline, it flared out slightly. It was made of the prettiest pastel pinks. The skirt of the dress donned a lacey pattern. The dress wasn't the only thing making Jamia stunning, it was also her makeup. It was as if the best artist in the world did her makeup. It appeared natural and minimal, and she was wearing a lipstick shade that complimented her dress.
"Well, say something!" Jamia giggled softly. She performed a little twirl for me, and I smiled. "You look amazing, Jamia," I whispered. I held a hand out to her now, and once she took my hand I revealed the flowers I held behind my back. Jamia let out a slight gasp. "Oh, Frankie, they're stunning!" She placed a delicate kiss on my cheek before gently taking the flowers. She handled them with such great care I almost believed she thought that she'd break them.
The rest of the night went as I imagined. Jamia and I met up with our cliques and our friends alike at the dance, and we both had the night of our lives dancing on the open floor in the school gymnasium. The live band that played for the dance was absolutely amazing. They played all of the greatest and popular songs that matched the mood of the evening. Everything from the dance to the food made our special night spectacular, but all night I couldn't stop thinking of Gerard. I was constantly wondering if he was alright, and where I might find him tonight...
--
As the night grew older, the students slowly began to leave the dance. My group also lowered in numbers. Soon, it was about me and Jamia's time to leave, so I hooked arms with her and lead her outside to the parking lot. However, when we neared my car, I could see someone off in the grass dancing alone. From where I was, I could barely hear music from the gymnasium so I don't know what that person was dancing to.
During the whole drive to Jamia's home, my mind slowly made the connection that the person swaying alone to no music was most likely Gerard. Was he waiting for me? Did he still want to see me tonight? These questions encouraged my heart to beat fast from excitement. I know it isn't wise to hope so much but I couldn't help myself because just the thought that Gerard could be into me in some way excited me. So shortly after I had kissed Jamia goodnight and watched her walk inside, I sped back to the school as fast as I could. It seems as if luck was on my side tonight because the lonely person was still there. Smiling, I exited my vehicle and approached the dancing figure.
As I guessed, it was Gerard. Before I approached him, he was caught up in his own little world. His own beautiful world. His expression was one of pure carelessness and freedom. He had the softest smile and his eyes were closed in a pleasant way. His movements were intricate and calculated, yet delicate and slow. He wasn't wearing any pants this time. Instead, it was a simple patched skirt. Who knows where he found that old thing. The odd thing about it, though, was that he pulled the raggedy look off well.
"Gerard?"
My words shattered the undisturbed silence. Gerard whirled around to face me, his face full of shock.
"Frank!" He exclaimed, his eyes wide in horror. "You-- You're-- I--"
I could tell he was embarrassed to be caught. I gave him a calm smile. "Relax, you're fine," I said. "You looked beautiful."
Gerard gaped at me for a few seconds before blushing madly. He smiled bashfully now and dipped his head. I took this opportunity to step closer and take his hand. "What do you wanna do tonight? Take me anywhere. I'm all yours." His hazel eyes traveled up to meet mine, and I swear I've never seen them so bright. I went to lean in, but...Gerard seemed to have other ideas. He gripped onto my hand tighter and suddenly began to drag me towards the direction of the football field. Somehow the lights still stayed on, even this late at night. Maybe there were other couples here for obvious reasons.
Gerard let my hand go now and sprinted to the middle of the field. He stretched his arms out to the dark sky and let out a deep breath. "Although I've never been a big sports guy, I do miss the games, the atmosphere," He said. He seemed to be speaking more to himself. After a moment, he turned to face me. "Sucks we don't have any music."
I nodded. Too bad I wasn't much of a musician myself. I took a few steps closer to Gerard. "You really wanna dance, huh?" Well, where could we dance? The school parking lot? No, we'd be caught and that wouldn't be pleasant.
Gerard sighed. "Hm, well, maybe we can just...imagine the music." Now he was the one to take my hand. I observed how he thought through how we would dance. His lips were slightly puckered and his eyes glanced over me about ten times. When he had analyzed everything, he finally took my other hand and closed the remaining space between us. His eyes met mine. "Do you know that song by Paul Anka? It was kinda popular back in my high school days."
"Tch, you make that sound like ages ago, Gerard," I smiled. "Of course I know that song. Put Your Head On My Shoulder, right?" To that, Gerard smiled rather coyly. He didn't say anything in response though. He simply began to hum the familiar tune and soon we were slowly swaying along to it. The two of us were completely absorbed into the dancing, we didn't care to look for anyone watching. To us, we were the only ones on Earth. We were the last remaining people dancing slowly on a football field under bright lights.
As the end of the song neared, we had stopped dancing. I wanted to attempt a kiss again, but I wasn't sure how Gerard would feel about that, and honestly, I wasn't sure how I would feel about it either. Any such homosexual acts are considered taboos... So I ignored the urge for now.
"C'mon, let's go for a stroll," Gerard said suddenly. He let my hands go and began to walk down the football field. He had a cute little skip in his skip, and my heart did not fail to flutter at his actions.
