oc spotlight 22 — landa vel

landa vel, known as the jedi killer, is a kiffar assassin. before 19 BBY, she lost her right arm in a battle against a jedi. she ultimately won the fight and stole his double-bladed lightsaber. she modified one emitter—while one emitted a still blade like other lightsabers, the other end could be cracked against a surface to become a lightwhip.

in 19-18 BBY, she began pursuing a nightsister jedi master named taryn zaberi. she teamed up with the sixth sister on the hunt.

so ya basically cadaver is an idol for the afterlife! he hosts performances where he sings and dances and he loves entertaining the dead ^^ thats all

i did kind of have an idea in my head where he somehow travels to the world of the living and tries to find a place there or something and he falls in love with somebody i guess. yknow that whole storyline trope lol. but i never developed it

The Quinn girlies are gonna looovvee Mama Mav! 🥵🤭

The Lynch family settled in deep Queens. It was a small family - two parents, one child, no one of any real consequence, and just so happened to distribute a certain high class brand of cigars. They did what everyone did to keep their business (and family) afloat in desperate times - make a deal with devils. They paid their dues twice over, but never quite got out from beneath that thumb of debt and so the cycle was passed onto their daughter.

On the day Mavis Lynch buried both her parents a debt collector came to their funeral to tell her of the remaining balance owed. A cruel display of power and authority that Mavis didn't like. So, she did what any sensible person would. She buried him six feet deep with his stupid contract shoved down his throat. She knew the game and played it even better, marrying an old rich man not even a full year after her parebts died, and taking his fortune and powerful gang with her after he died a short six months later. Mavis took control without a single issue, mostly because men can't complain when they're dead.

Under her control the once nefarious gang, known for running practically every casino in town, branched out. They offered protection to the less desirables of the city - prostitutes, strippers, ex cons - and they hand their hands in practically anything. Illegal weapons, drugs, alcohol, money laundering, you get the idea. In less than two years Mavis Lynch became the boss of the biggest black market. In less than two years Mavis Lynch became The Widow Mav.

"You know what I always say," Mav said with a grin. "Kill 'em quick and bury 'em quicker."

the city of cybershock is a capitalistic dystopia ruled by those in power at the expense of the less fortunate. it's a terrible place to live in.. which is why penelope is the way that she is.

penelope (also known as "peppy") is an upbeat teenage punk rebel with a love for pastel and pink and cutesy things; but don't let her adorable exterior fool you! those blue laces are no joke!

peppy is an outspoken anarchist who loves nothing more than to spread love and laughter and kindness throughout the world.. by vandalizing the city! using her paint bombs, she paints the walls of the dull grey buildings in pretty pastel hues, all calling out the capitalistic tyrants of her miserable city.

and if any of the robot cops show up, not to worry! the paint she uses is very special; too much of it on technology can completely disable it!

she's an advocate for love and looking out for one another, but kindness doesn't mean silence. peppy's love should not be taken for granted, and you don't want to get on her list of enemies.

fenvu teiviti is a mirialan mercenary. at 19, she joined a mercenary crew named skeleton key that had members like constantine. when he recruited a corellian pilot, rix, they became rivals due to their clashing personalities.

after constantine's disappearance in 21 BBY, she stuck with skeleton key until the rise of the empire. the group disbanded, believing it unlikely that they could continue operating under the empire's watchful eye.

constantine redirected her to his former pirate crew, the karjj pirates. she joined them as their swordmaster. by 2 BBY, the karjj pirates became rivals of the kada pirates.

with a design inspired by kidou and shadow the hedgehog, he's really one of my all-time favorite designs ive ever made as well as one of my top favorite ocs ever!!!

he hasnt made MUCH of an appearance in villain + school yet, but we're getting there!!! so i cant say MUCH about him just yet but i'll say as much as i feel i can without spoiling anything lol

basically he's a kid who comes from a family of supervillains, so they expected him to be a villain just like them and sent him off to villain school to become a supervillain when he grew up. however, he secretly wants to be a superhero instead, and he aims to gain enough credits in order to transfer to a hero school eventually! he has the power to control wind and he's very mysterious and acts as a lone wolf..

at least until he makes friends with proton and switch! they help him open up and be his true self to where he finally is open about wanting to be a hero when he grows up.

how will his family react? how will the rest of the students treat him? will he become the hero he's always dreamed of being??? you gotta wait for me to finish the comic to find out LOL

apollo is a grumpy solar flower with a snippy attitude and prickly words to match. they lash out at others defensively first and reason second. as a result, they're very good at standing their ground, but not.. very good at communicating with people they even slightly dislike.

they're silly!! their self-preserving demeanor stems from being poked fun at for being a stationary robot, but they're slowly learning to be a bit more open now that they're surrounded by nicer people.

their dream is to explore the world. and their best friend is literally a robot that can float, who is willing to help them explore everywhere and achieve their dream!! this sharp flower LOVES seeing sights

Color - Off White: Lilium never forgot the way he looked at her in that dress. One of the few times after everything, she felt truly beautiful. His lips only solidified it.

Flower - Red Carnation: Lilium kept twirling the flower between her fingers. Ominis let her know the meaning for the flower was an aching heart, like yearning. She knew she felt that way, she could only hope he reciprocated.

Animal - Hippogriff: Highwing was always there with her. The creature knew how much she hated flying on brooms. They would fly together almost every night, and even after all the chaos, Highwing still found her again.

Scent - Lavender and Pine: It was one of the few things that was clean in her memories from before. How much she adored the scent of lavender, and how on her travels, she adores the fresh scent of Pine.

The Lantern Keeper

No performance goes without the lights illuminating the stage: or, in this case, the flames!

The keeper ensures there is neither too much or too little light present so the viewers may experience the atmosphere of the troupe tent in the best intended ways. The little fire lumaflies dance around the keeper, follow the instructions, rest and charge at the lanters and cast the fire and light at the command. The keeper is never without them or at least a single lantern.
