How did Elesa get a Blitzle as a starter if she's from Sinnoh? (hang on this is ironic she could've learned about warden ingo in school back there)

Blitzle Elesa backstory under cut!

Blitzle was gifted to Elesa so she has an “easier time” integrating into Nimbasa by her well meaning dad. This is not the greatest move, since the two feel they are more obligated to stick together then, you know, actually choose each other. Blitzle’s meant to be a utility mon— he helps charge elesa’s hearing aid batteries and basically serves as an emotional support when things get rough. He’s… not the biggest fan. (I like to imagine Blitzle was originally part of a battle track, but his IVs aren’t the greatest so they shuffled him out. He’s a bit bitter about that.)

Inciting incident where they actually start taking the proper steps to becoming partners is when Elesa takes a tumble down a hill and Blitzle twists his foreleg going after her. (Local child eats shit! More at 11.)

They’re just kids, and they’re still learning.

(When Elesa decides to challenge the gyms, Blitzle’s so excited he accidentally trips their house’s circuits.)

LOL I am adoring these asks.

I take a lot of inspo from actual horse behaviors when I think about how Dream emotes. But I will add my own twist because he isn’t entirely horse or humanoid. He’s a third centaur thing.

I think Dream has much more control over his tail. As such it’s not as big of an emotional tell. But because Dream has more control he can intentionally swing it around and whap Hob in the face with it 😏.

He "flags" his tail pretty high when I draw him, and I do that partially because of the breeds he’s based on, partially because it looks cool (I'll admit it), and also because Dream is a tightly wound guy 😂

When Dream gets relaxed I drop his tail a bit and I’d imagine if he ever felt comfy enough to wear his emotions on his sleeve, he would probably tuck his tail between his legs when he was afraid or sad. He could also swish it back and forth when he's frustrated/agitated/impatient.

I have had PLENTY of thoughts about jean in the royal au ahhhhh and yes naturally most of them are angst but also. I do regularly smile to myself about jean becoming a fine metalworker and making incredible delicate jewelry and sending a few pieces as thanks/friendship/courting to Renee, take your pick the reasons (she loves them, they go on all her outfits right beside Allison’s ribbons in her hair) because of these tags that I still think about occasionally

And then the day prince/king Jeremy Knox is suddenly struck with the realization that he HAS seen this man before, despite Jean’s protests, going like “!!! Jean? Jean Moreau?? You can’t be, you’re - you’re taller!!” Because he was so used to seeing a younger, more terrified, less healthy Jean from across halls and grand dining tables at various summits between all the neighboring kingdoms. Little Evermore attendant Jean Moreau and decently-practiced Trojan blacksmith Jean Moreau are VASTLY DIFFERENT BEASTS
