Onto the actual plot- a cop and a priest walk into a bar basically. (i’m not even joking) so they both do that and they flirt things are said and done woahh (they kiss holy shit :0) They end up sleeping togheter but before that janette was like ‘heyy i’m aro-spec let me explain what that means and how i don’t do romantic relationships” and Adele is like “uh huh. definetly listening” she isn’t. she does not care at all. So basically they have a friends with benefits relationship but then Janette is like “WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVE A HUSBAND” since adele is not polyamorous and did not tell Josh about it.

They split up, and don’t talk for a while until Adele’s son, Ryan, ends up being involved in a cult ritual that ends up with him getting his arm chopped off. Adele knows who did it (janette who did not agree to that ritual) and ended up getting revenge. In the form of arson. She was mostly commiting arson because she was just annoyed at Janette and a little bit for her son she isn’t a good mum. So Janette gets burnt alive and then ends up getting resurrected by weird blue spirits called Sprites that curse her with if she cuts her skin, little blue flowers and foliage burst from her skin trying to push their way out which is dangerous! So she has to stay out of town- in the woods- because everyone thinks she’s dead and she’s just planning her way to kill adele.

The Chosen One's BFF is in the plot bunny stage. It's the standard hero's journey storyline but told from the POV of their best friend. They have to stand by and watch the chosen one be turned into a weapon and a sacrifice. All they can do is make sure the CO is fed and rested and soothed from screaming nightmares--and sometimes they're not even allowed that as the CO is whisked away, forced to trek and train and ration.

It's about the terror they feel every step of the journey, knowing the end, knowing there's nothing they can do to change how the story plays out, and staying by their side anyway. If their friend has to die to save the world, they aren't going to let them die alone.

Until the day the Wise Wizard steals away the CO to complete the journey alone because he thinks the friend is holding them back. They're clinging to comforts of yesterday rather than pushing ahead onto what needs to be done for the good of the world.

And so the friend races off to find them. It's not difficult to follow their trail--their path of destruction. Smoldering towns filled with the corpses of monsters and demons, awed and afraid townsfolk. And well... it's important that they find their friend, but they can't just ignore these people that are hurting.

So they help. They bandage the wounded, they cook for the homeless and hungry, they repair walls and fences and doors, they tend the damaged fields. And they talk. They tell stories about their friend, humanize them to these people who have only seen the raw power that hurt nearly as much as it helped. And they explain the horrible sacrifice they're going to make to save all of these people they weren't allowed to meet.

It's like this that the friend collects an adventuring party of their own--but rather than the wisest and strongest and fiercest, the people that join are the people who care too much to look away. They're people. Just people.

Rene and Alois have a TON of different verses and whatnot and crow (solemn-vow, who owns alois) and i have only sorta settled on a 'main' canon for them

but the idea is that rene got spyheaded by a previous medic and kept in the fridge, and alois found him and saved him after a few months of working and experimenting. rene ends up with a big scar around his neck and a lingering crush on the silly medic who is actually very nice, unlike a lot of other medics. and alois ends up with lingering Mystery Feelings about the spy friend he made but is now avoiding him bc of commitment issues

they do eventually reconnect when rene is convinced by the friends on his team to stop moping and just go talk to alois, and they get very close (as friends at first) and then it takes them quite awhile to actually get around to admitting feelings (rene is bad at communicating and alois is clueless, but they're both very good at pining like idiots).

and after that they're inseparable

oh and also, rene's always BLU team, but Alois's team kinda varies depending if crow and i are feeling more same faction or more crossfaction.

If you don't mind me— i have MULTIPLE of them, and would love to share about the multiple brainrots i have about them. heck i even made a whole very self-indulgent casual modern college au for them because i terribly need to shove all these characters in a single room and see what happens

So first of all, my main and favorite duo (the one which started the whole college au mess)— my two favorite characters from two games i like, leo tsukinaga and lyney! :]

Next one i am very insane about is the fontaine twins and 2wink because??? I am not the only one to see the multiple parallels between them right??? Especially lyney and hinata??? Both pairs of twins have such a similar past too— grew up on the streets by themselves (fontaine twins because parents died, 2wink because they ran away) and had to perform to earn money to survive

Then there's once again lyney, but with kokichi (danganronpa) this time— it's less i want them to interact, and more like holy fuck why the fuck are they WAY TOO SIMILAR??? they even have the same japanese va....

It all started september 1st 2023, when i was rambling about lyney to my friend who knows nothing about genshin (but was into dr with me), and she pointed their similarity out

I've had a rly nice time getting to know myself this year (❁´◡`❁)

i had been on hormones already for like 5months but didn't get to explore myself any further bc the relationship i was in didn't rly leave any room for it 😓

Milo x AJ are so sweet to me omg. Like weve talked about it before but theyre definitely gaming buddies who lug consoles and games to each others house for a weekend of gaming, movies, and AJ forcing Milo to eat decently🤣 She would see how he eats and be like "damn this man needs more vegetables" and cook him a decent meal with some fresh veggies from her garden. I can definitely see Milo falling for someone who makes him feel cared for that he can also have fun with and bond with. The two of them having a connection to spirits, Milo definitely likes having someone around who doesnt think hes crazy and that immediately makes him feel fuzzy inside. Like over the many weekend excursions he slowly starts to fall for her. Plus, AJ is totally his type. I can see Kari x AJ as romantically involved but I definitely see them more as incredibly good friends, sisters almost. Like when I picture these two together, my first thought is the two of them walking through a shopping district. ⋆｡ﾟ☁︎｡⋆｡ ﾟ☾ ﾟ｡⋆ oikawa was rather an unorthodox choice, considering how your personalities, at first glance, might clash. he wouldn't admit it, but oikawa was genuinely scared when he met you for the first time, your consistent rbf and height being plausible factors why. still, he was drawn to how you constantly helped everyone around you, and to his intrigue, he actually found some similarities between the both of you! the both of you get into teasing matches with no clear winner. though he did not get into a relationship with you immediately (read: oikawa was way too stubborn and in denial), he wouldn't trade it for the world. as a partner, oikawa might seem like the type who would flaunt you simply in public, but he praises you a lot in private too. though he has a lot of female fans, rest assured oikawa only has his eyes for you. he's also your biggest defender and would get into arguments with others just to make sure you're alright. he can be pretty straight with you too, so if he sees that you aren't taking care of yourself, he'd be the one to take matters in his own hands and find a way to get you to stop overworking. as ironic as that may be considering he overworks as well, but you also get him to stop constantly overworking so it's a balance! oikawa never forgets to get you your favorite snack - even if it's late after practice.
