Just a fun LawXNami thing I wrote that at first was sexy...but then turned hilarious.
This is slightly sexy in the beginning, so I'll put the story below.
The first thing she noticed when she stirred awake was that she was not in her own bed on the Sunny. The second thing that she noticed was that someone had their arms wrapped around her and their hot breath on her neck and it wasn’t Robin…because Robin didn’t have facial hair.
Then the question surfaced in her mind, ‘How on earth did I get here?’
She thought back to last night…she’d been drinking…they had all been having a big party…and then she’d been talking to Tora-o…he’d been speaking with her and they walked farther and farther away from the party.
‘Oh God…is this who….?’ She looked down and her breath hitched as she noticed the familiar fingers tattooed with the words DEATH. She turned her body around and met the sleepy golden eyes of the Captain of the Heart Pirates as he moved her long orange hair out of her face. “Good morning Nami-ya.”
“Where are we?”
“I found us a room at an inn.”
“Y-You could have just taken me back to the Tang! Or even the Sunny!”
“If it’s the price you’re worried about I paid for it. Also it’s nice to have such a big bed, you always say mine is too small and we never do it in your room since you share it with Nico-ya.”
Though technically Robin knew about their relationship and would have given the horny couple their space Nami just felt guilty about the idea of having sex in the same bed where she and Robin would sleep.
Nami moaned quietly and sat up to survey the room, “….Well it’s not a honeymoon suite but it’s nice.”
“I’ll keep that in mind.” Law said as he nuzzled the top of her head while a hand slid down to her thigh to caress it.
“I could use some breakfast.” Nami said quietly as she leaned into Law’s chest, “Do they offer room service here?”
Law felt a smirk creep up on his face but before he could reply to the Cat Theif both of them stiffened as they heard a loud “NAAAAAMMMIIII!!!” from outside the door followed by the door being swung wide open due to the Captain of the Strawhat Pirates. Nami turned a morbid shade of white while Law pulled the sheet over her chest so that Luffy wouldn’t get an eyeful.
Luffy smiled, “There you are Nami!”
“L-Luffy?!” Nami asked in a horrified tone.
“Geez Nami, if you and Tora-o were going to have a sleepover you should’ve just told me!”
‘He has no idea.’ Both Law and Nami reasoned.
Then they heard footsteps “Did you find them?” a voice called out.
“Yeah they’re here!” Luffy said pointing into the room.
Now Law turned white, ‘Oh shit…’
“In here?” Penguin asked as he and Shachi stood in the doorway and then both men stared at their Captain with shocked faces before both came to their senses.
“Oh…oh no…” Penguin said turning bright red and lowered his hat further down his face.
“W-We’re really sorry Captain. We’ll leave…just don’t kill us.” Shachi said waving his hands before he and Penguin faced Luffy, “Hey Strawhat, why don’t we wait outside for a bit?”
“Huh? Why?”
“Just do it! We’ll buy you meat if you do!” Both men said pushing him out the door before shutting it.
Law and Nami just stared at the door in silence before Nami buried her face in the sheet, “Oh my God!”
The dark haired man groaned at the situation in irritation knowing that the mood between the two had been completely ruined.
--
Law walked in silence in front of his men after he and Nami had parted ways at the inn, departing with their respected crew members. He could feel the tension behind him as Penguin and Shachi debated on how to best communicate with their captain.
Penguin cleared his throat, “Um…we won’t tell anyone what we saw, won’t we Shachi?”
Shachi nodded his head, “Of course! Not a word!”
Law turned around and looked at his men, his lips turned upward, “I know you won’t. Because Nami-ya says you both owe her 100,000 each by the end of the week for looking at her without permission. And if you don’t pay her on time you’ll be charged a late fee.”

Justice and Freedom 15 (Snippet)
Justice and Freedom: Marco had not heard a lot about Rear-Admiral 'Straw Hat' Luffy, not until he crash-lands on his ship. slash.
“Who put you up to this?” Marco asks, because no way their newest rookie just happened to bring Marco dinner because he realized the first mate skipped meals today.
“No one.” The answer comes too quickly. Ace is not necessarily a bad liar, Marco’s seen a lot worse, but the blonde had been looking for a sign and Ace’s eyes are shifty as he replies.
Marco looks down at the plate, picking up the fork and taking a bite. He hadn’t noticed before from how immersed he’d been before and the omelette is delicious. Bacon, tomato and cheese… A light goes on in Marco’s.
“So, how’s Luffy doing?”
“Wait, how did you know?”
“He’s called a couple of times before, in a very timely manner.” Marco had entertained that it was Ace who fed information to Luffy about the going-on’s of the Moby, but as far as he can tell, the younger is still oblivious to Marco’s complicated relationship with his brother.
“Luffy just knows things sometimes, I’m not sure how to explain it. It doesn’t happen with just anyone, especially not at this distance, I was actually really surprised when he called.” He seems to pay that particular fact more consideration as he explains it to the first division commander. “Marco is there something up with you two?”
“What makes you say that?” Marco questions cautiously.
“Luffy called across the sea to pester me into making you a sandwich at almost midnight.”
“Ah, it’s uh, complicated?” From all the conversations Marco’s exhausted brain wants to have -which is none- finally coming clean to Ace about his persistent attraction to his brother is not even on the list.
“What do you mean complicated?”
“According to him, he likes me.”
“That’s it? Luffy likes tons of people.”
“It's more... a hormone-driven type of liking.”
“I doubt it,” the freckled man scoffs in amusement, “Luffy doesn’t even know what sex is.” Okay, so, Luffy does look very innocent but Ace cannot really think his older brother is completely impervious to his biological instincts, can he?
(Besides, Marco has it in good authority that Luffy is not only very much aware of what sex is, but that he’s rather extraordinary at it too.)
“I beg to differ,” Marco lets it slip, quickly trying to conceal his outburst as a cough but it’s too late, the damage done. Ace’s steely gaze falls on him, the light of understanding shining from within them.
“Marco, please tell me you didn’t fuck my brother.” Marco has the decency to look away, and then, because Luffy should suffer just as much as he, even if it’s delayed, he goes:
“He started it.”

A MihawkPerona Story - Chapter 1: revelations
“Do they know we’re coming?” she asked into the silence and finally turned to look at the swordsman. Just like her, he had been looking up, but now focused on her small frame wrapped in the blanket. A smile played on his lips, yet it was tense.
“No,” he answered after a moment and sighed.
Perona asks Mihawk if he wants to be her captain. His answer changes her world-view.

Drabble I wrote where Bepo learns about Nami’s past and realizes how similar she is to his captain. No pairings really, just feels. All the feels.
“What’s this a map of?” Bepo asked as he looked at a piece of parchment that seemed much older than the others that were on the desk.
“Oh, that’s Cocoyashi. It’s where I grew up.” Nami said with a soft smile on her face, “My sister Nojiko still lives there.”
“You have a sister?”
“Well…we’re not biologically related but we were raised by the same woman. Actually there’s a picture of us right there.” Nami said pointing to the small frame on the desk. Bepo gently picked it up and looked at the two smiling girls standing on either side of a woman with magenta hair with blue-grey eyes who grinned at the camera holding a cigarette in her fingers.
Bepo was silent as he heard Nami talk about the woman in the picture, she had been a marine who had taken her and the other girl in when Nami was just a baby and left the Marines to raise them. Sadly, the woman in the picture wasn’t alive as she’d been shot by a terrible person and the mink felt his heart drop to his stomach.
Marine…shot…dying out of love…
‘Impossible.’ Bepo thought as he looked at the picture, dark eyes shining with unshed tears. Once upon a time he’d heard a similar story from his own Captain. His Captain who had been taken in by Doflamingo’s brother, a marine in disguise who had risked his life to save Law….at a terrible cost.
“Ah…sorry…I didn’t mean to make you feel bad!” Nami said as she noticed the tears gathering in Bepo’s eyes and then found herself being pulled into the large polar bear’s arms in a bone-crushing embrace. “It’s okay Bepo. I’m okay now…my village is fine. No one is suffering anymore.”
---
Bepo was unusually quiet when he came back to the Polar Tang. He’d spent the entire morning and afternoon with Nami, to gain some helpful tips on how to perfect his own maps.
“Oh there you are Bepo.” A voice said and Bepo glanced over to see his Captain leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. The polar bear’s mind drifted back to Nami’s story and how it had matched up with Law’s. His Captain had always been a difficult person when it came to talking about his terrible past but now he knew that there was someone who could understand and it filled the mink with hope for the Surgeon of Death.
“C-Captain…” Bepo’s black eyes welled up with tears and he grabbed Law in his large arms, “Oh Captain!”
“Hey! Bepo! What the hell?!” Law squirmed trying to get out of the mink’s hug, “Let go!”
“Oh Captain!  You don’t have to suffer alone anymore! I’m so relieved!” Bepo sobbed.
“Bepo! Put me down!”

Possible MaLu Time Travel Fic
One of the usual suspects that regularly feeds my irresponsible behavior of writing fan fiction instead of being productive has pitched me an idea for a Time Travel MaLu fic. Here’s a piece of a previous fic I’d given up on that might make a comeback for a time travel twist.
-------------
Luffy sees his siblings carry Ace in a stretcher towards the Moby Dick and whines a little as his life gets entirely too complicated. He’s not sure how to play this, there’s no way Ace won’t recognize him and tell the Whitebeard Pirates that their Lu is actually a marine. Little brothers from hell.
-------------
Ace has been kept hostage on the Moby Dick for over 30 days now.
Marco threw him off the boat! As Namur carries him up on deck –grudgingly, mind you– and Ace collapses on his hands panting and shaking, he glares at the wood beneath his fingers. Fuckin stupid chicken…!
“Thanks.” He chokes out to the fishman, because he might be his enemy, but Ace could’ve drowned. He’s a violent pirate, but he’s also a very polite, violent pirate. The fishman does nothing but grumble and be on his way. Leaving Ace to his coughing and failure.
“Ready to give it up for the day, Ace?” Ace feels something positive when he recognizes Thatch’s voice, not because he’s getting attached! He isn’t. It’s just Thatch happens to be one of the more tolerable of his captors, particularly because he’s in charge of the food and he’s always there to listen about Ace complain about the woes of his situation.
“…Maybe.” Ace certainly has not given up on taking Pop’s heads, but the Phoenix, a man Ace had originally dubbed as laid-back and cool-headed, seems to be in an ever worsening mood. The empty cold of seawater still hasn’t left him and Ace thinks he’s rather done with provoking the already incensed first mate. He turns to Thatch. “Something crawled up Marco’s ass and died today.”
The other man explodes into laughter, hand reaching for the railing to hold himself up.
“Oh god, don’t let him hear you say that.”
“Is he always so… so…” Ace stutters, getting to his feet and looking at the pompadour man. “I don’t even know, man.”
“Don’t hurt yourself there, I know what you mean.” The man says, still laughing. “Not really, you’re not too off, though. Marco has been in a pissy mood.”
“Because I’m trying to kill P–Whitebeard?” Ace knows Thatch catches the slip, smirking widely. “Shut up!” Ace says angrily, feeling the warmth in his face. “Everyone calls him that, it’s just habit! It doesn’t mean anything!” It doesn’t.
“Whatever you say.” Thatch’s voice is humoring him, but his eyes tell Ace everything he needs to know. Thatch changes the topic though, mercifully so. “Nah, I mean, I don’t think it’s helping his mood improve, mind you, but Marco always gets irritable when his boyfriend’s not around.”
“His boyfriend?” Ace would’ve never thought Marco the Phoenix could ever participate in something as mundane as being in a relationship.
“Oh, that’s right you haven’t met him. He actually left around the time you arrived, he had some personal business to take care of.” Thatch says, leaning against the railing, propped by his elbows. “Odd, though, now that I think about it. Lu’s never taken so much time off before.”
“Lu?” Ace asks, almost tasting the name. “Didn’t think Marco was the romantic type, pinning after a man.”
“He’s not really, like, rookies take awhile to notice them, if I’m honest. Lu’s a sunshine, but he’s a little dense sometimes, not the type of guy that screams romantic partner. Marco’s head over heels for him though, and the kid does help him out tons around the ship. I don’t think he expected him to be gone this long. He always keeps Marco from stressing out too much, which is very healthy for the rest of us. I think you’d have gotten along great. He’s actually a bottomless pit too…”
“I did think you’d taken it in stride just how much food I can eat.” Ace has pondered why he’s eating habits, which he knew were slightly peculiar but not unfounded, had not earned more disbelief.
“Yeah, well, I’m not sure how the kitchen’s going to survive when I have 2 black holes to fill at the same time.”
“Don’t talk like I’m sticking around!”
“Yes, yes.” The older man dismisses. “C’mon, you should get changed.”

Luffy’s Mystery Bird Sequel - A Place of Rest (Sneak Peek)
Luffy’s Mystery Bird is completed, and Bella Scullw over at FFnet left me such lovely reviews that I’ve been prompted into a writing a OneShot of what happens right after the end. This includes huge spoilers, so be sure to read the original work first.
“You’ve been sailing with him.” Izo deduces, and okay, he still doesn't like it, but Ace’s little brother... well, Pops orders had been to protect him at all cost. Some unhappiness bleeds through anyways because Marco sighs tiredly, rubbing his eyes and masking his face from view.
“I didn’t join his crew, Izou.”
“Right, you just travel with them on their ship and go on adventures with them and probably fight for them.”
“I love him.” Marco voices out. It comes out slowly, almost like a secret, like a resignation -like he means it. Izou’s never seen Marco in love, but it’s impossible to not recognize it once he sees it. “Luffy is the most brilliant, happiest, most ridiculous person I’ve ever met and I still think it’s unreal and I'm half sure Ace would try to set me on fire but I love him.”

Unnamed MaLu Snippet 1
No plans of writing this as of right now, but I really like this scene, leaves me with so many questions.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Marco knows his crew would have different reactions to him bringing a Younko on board, but when Ace punches Luffy in the face, he still thinks it’s a little extreme. Luffy doesn’t move, face twisted to one side, his straw hat unmoved. Marco’s stunned. Enough so that Ace has the chance to tackle the other pirate and punch him again and again and –okay, that’s enough.
  “Ace!”
Marco grabs his arms from behind, surprised when Ace bursts into flames. As he pulls him back, Ace is writhing and yelling. Luffy lies silently on the ground, flat on his back from the assault.
The lapels of his red shirt are singed from where Ace grabbed him.
“Let me go! Marco, let me go!” The other man keeps screaming and Marco has never seen Ace like this before. “What the fuck is he doing on this ship?!”
“Ace. Straw Hat is a Younko, what exactly are you playing at?” Marco’s sure Luffy isn’t the type to go to war over being offended, but Ace –as second division commander– has a responsibility to know better. Besides all that though, Marco’s just worried. Ace is absolutely furious and while he’s known for having quiet a temper, it certainly isn’t like this. “If I let you go; can you control yourself?”
“Self-control isn’t really Ace’s thing, shishishishi.” Luffy says, swiftly rising to his feet, dusting off his straw hat. Ace shakes in Marco’s grip, and from the back of his head Marco can tell the younger man is glaring. “He’s always been a meany. Not cute at all.”
“What. The fuck. Are you doing on this ship?” Ace’s voice is dangerous enough that Marco knows better than to let go of his grip, not that he needs to check on Luffy anyways. The other man is clearly unfazed.
“Well, Marco invited me.” Ace breaks out of his hold to swivel around and zero in on the first mate.
  “Why is he here?”
“Ace, what is happening?” He looked over his shoulder at Luffy. “And you didn’t tell me you had history with Ace.” Luffy answers first.
“It didn’t really come up.” The other man says, shrugging.
“He’s a fuckin traitor.” Luffy’s gaze narrows on him, but doesn’t disavow the notion. Ace’s gaze is wide and hurt, and Marco, who had seen him in failure and in sickness and in grief has never been privy to so much emotion from his fellow commander. What had Luffy done? And, in the long run, what was Marco supposed to do about it? “You do know he used to be a marine, right?”
“I do, yoi.” Marco hopes that’s all there is to that.
“Do you know why he’s not a marine anymore?” Marco figured it was probably because Luffy has clearly never been meant for that kind of life, how could he? He was so full of life and wonder and dreams, sometimes Marco felt no even the sea could hold him. Something in Luffy’s eyes change at the question and Marco knows immediately the answer’s not going to be that simple.
  “Ace…” Luffy starts.
“It’s because he killed another officer!” Ace explodes. “Our– his own fucking grandfather! So I want to know, what is that piece of shit doing on this ship?!” He meets eyes with Luffy trying to send out the message that this is not the time–
“Marco and I are going out!”
–to tell Ace they were fucking, and fuck, why did Marco even bother?
  Ace bursts into flames.

A Man Worth Dying For (Snippet)
Full work
Fix him, he says. Law chuckles darkly.
"Roronoa-ya…" The surgeon hates how weak his voice sounds, terrified beyond belief because of the sudden horror that overloads his existence, too much torment trying to cram itself inside his person. "I'm afraid that if we move Luffy-ya too much, brain matter is going to fall out of his skull."
Luffy might never forgive him, but this is bigger than either of them.
Law loves him.
He wishes he had told him sooner, wishes he would've had impossibly more chances to kiss him, to keep knowing sides to him no one else is privy to. Law loves his kindness and his strength and every single stupid antic of his that never fails to annoys him and amuse him. Law feels like the last couple of months have brought with them more laughter than he's experienced in years. He loves to think that with people like Luffy around, Cora-san's views of the world live on.
D will surely bring another storm.
Law is unsure about all the prophecies and the void century and ancient weapons, despite how he's discussed the topic with Nico-ya at length, but if such a thing exists, Luffy is smack in the middle of it. Doflamingo called Ds the enemies of the gods, and Law doesn't think he meant the abstract figure of worship. Times are changing, Luffy is a vital part of this era, if not the guiding light of it, and Law believes in him more than he has ever believed in anyone or anything.
Law is going to save Luffy because maybe Law can do some good in the world too.
(And because he cannot live in a world without him, as selfish as it is).

The House of the Lost 8 (Snippet)
The House of the Lost: Marco the Phoenix doesn’t often ponder about his own mortality, but 6 months into the hellhole that has been his captivity, he’s understanding suicide in ways he never wanted to.
or
Giant children aren't the only experiment in progress Luffy and the crew find in Punk Hazard.
Despite his bony appendages and his size, Brook works seamlessly in the kitchen. "I saw my crew get slaughtered."
"That's one way to begin a conversation," he comments bitterly, "a bunch of mine are dead too," Marco regrets the words as soon as they're out of his mouth. (He's feeling defensive, it feels a little like Izou's voice in his head.) He wasn't going to jump, he wasn't. (And if he was, it's certainly not Brook's or anyone else's business.) The swordsman hums lightly, unbothered by Marco's crass accusation as he puts a steaming cup of tea in Marco's reach.
He sits down across from him, oddly graceful for his long, thin limbs as he settles his cane to rest against the mint-colored table dresser. He gives Marco a look, a why do you want to be difficult? There's only one man who Marco has ever tolerated that look from, and he's long dead. It only makes him angrier.
"I wished for death once too," the musician confides, "I wished for death a long time because of what happened that day."
At Marco's silence, Brook assumes he'll be heard.

Snippet of Chapter 34 - Luffy & Ace
I just saw on twitter a video of Ace’s released and it filled me with such grief, it reminded me of this scene from Who Were Meant To Be. If you don’t know WWW, it’s my baby, an alternate universe described as a world where Ace's skyrocketing to the Pirate Summit at 17 has consequences for the little brother he left behind. It’s completed and has a other five works relating to it, including a completed spin-off and one shot, and a prequel and epilogue collection in progress.
The next passge contains HUGE SPOILERS for it, so I recommend checking out the link first if you haven’t read it <3
"Whitebeard is looking forward to meeting you. All of the crew is, really." Damn it; this is not what Ace needs to say.
"I never thought I'd meet Whitebeard," Luffy responds, willing to go along with the chosen topic of conversation. "At least, not outside of a fight shishishishi." Silence engulfs them, and for the first time, his brother is apparently okay with waiting.
"Luffy, I'm s-" Luffy throws his blanket up in the air.
"Yosh, it's time for food." He's sitting up slowly, and pain creases his brow, but Ace can see he's determined.
"Where the hell do you think you're going, you idiot?" Ace says, trying to push Luffy back without accidentally pushing on a wound. Luffy evades him but stays still. He looks up at Ace, pouting.
"I'm hungry!" He whines, and Ace can believe it on principle, Luffy is always hungry, but he's also as subtle as a rock.
"Your food can wait for a minute." He tries to placate him, but it's for naught.
"No, it can't!" Luffy yells. "I'm hungry now, Sanj-!" Ace presses his hand to Luffy's mouth because the last thing he needs is his fan club to show up right now. Ace knows they're worried, and he knows it's selfish, but he needs some minutes alone with his little brother.
"Now, look here, Luffy, I'm s- what the fuck! Are you five?!" Spit is slowly coating his palm, and the little shit takes advantage of the confusion to bite him.
"I want foooood!" The younger man demands. "I haven't had a proper meal in more than a week!" Ace does feel a little bad at that. Luffy had been incarcerated for a week before ever reaching the battle, and he's been out for days.
"And you'll get it, but, fuck, Luffy. Luffy, I'm trying to apologize, for fuck's sake, stop biting me!"
"I don't wanna hear it."
"Tough, you're gonna."
"Ace is being stupid." His brother, the former marine Vice-Admiral, the center figure of the Paramount War, and self-proclaimed future King of Pirates pouts. Ace wants to laugh; he does, but he's just remembered how young his little brother is, making him feel more defeated than ever.
"Luffy, can you just..." He starts eyes on the ceiling to reign in tears. He feels so tired. "Can you just listen... please?" His brother's eyes lose some of the amusement, and he can tell Luffy's going to hear him. "I should've known, the second I saw you with a white coat in Alabasta, that something wasn't right. Wait, please, I need... I need to say this. You've always been like that Luffy, never listening to anyone, always doing whatever you wanted... I am your big brother, and I thought that if you were a marine, it was because you wanted to be one, it had to be because... nothing could ever put you down. Not for long, not for what mattered." Silence is the only thing that greets him, and that's okay because Ace isn't done.
"I've always struggled with the question... of whether I should've been born. The son of a man despised by the world, doomed to be treated as a criminal no matter what I did. I never related it to you because you were always so cheerful and careless. I didn't realize that the only difference between us was how we thought about ourselves regarding our parents. When Nami told me what you'd done, I didn't believe her, though now I think it's more that I didn't want to believe her, though now I think it's more that I didn't want to believe her. It was easy. It was easy because it made so much sense." A bitter bark of a laugh escapes him.
"You've always been there when it counts, never letting me drift too far into the dark... You've..." always been the strongest out of us; Ace cannot shape his mouth around the words and so much for not crying."Oi, Ace..." Luffy's voice is worried for him even now."I entered Marineford, and at first I thought to myself: I'll die here if I have to, anything as long as you came home, free. It was so selfish. Here you've been enslaving away for me to get a life, and there I was, ready to throw it away, first opportunity. I told Marco I was Gol D. Roger's son, and more people know now than ever, and I couldn- can't even care about it. It seems so small compared to everything else. And, that still goes back to you. Every good thing in my life, before I met Pops, goes back to you.”
"Ace, I don't want your apology. That's not... That's not why I did it."
"I know. The apology's for me." Ace chuckles wryly, his voice is small, shaky, but he can't possibly stop now. "For you, I have a promise. I've always been a bit blasé about it all, you know? Just, not looking for... for it to end, but certainly not very against going out on a blaze of glory, but... this life I'm living, it's not really just mine anymore, is it? It wouldn't exist without you -or, or Gramps and, I want you to know it's in good hands." Ace meets Luffy's eyes, wide open in complete surprise. "I'm going to take care of it, I promise, so that nothing you've ever done for me is wasted."
For a minute, Luffy just sits there, stunned, then lowers his head, and his raven locks aren't quite enough to cover his tearful eyes. His smile is soft.

Review for “disaster in the making (we’re not sorry for it)”
by guiltylights  @guilty-lights
4k words, completed one-shot.
Summary
“The colour of your hair paired with your coat is a hideous eyesore,” she informs him. “Get out of my sight.”
There’s a pause, and then Doflamingo is laughing uproariously, falling backwards for a moment before neatly leaping away from where Hancock sits frowning imperiously on Salome. Hancock watches, unimpressed, as Doflamingo throws his head back while laughing, the sound as hideous as the cackle of a crow. He cuts himself off as swiftly as he starts; his Adam’s apple bobs as he swallows.
“As spoiled as always, princess,” he coos.
Fleet Admiral Sakazuki unwillingly calls a meeting with the Warlords; only Doflamingo and Hancock show up. Law crashes the scene.
Review
It’s such a unique premise for a fic, for one, which is what first attracted me to it. The characters are super IC and very well fleshed-out for such a one-shot. It has a nice pacing and length, keeping you intrigued but leaving you satisfied.
What sets it apart from the rest is definitely the writer’s amazing descriptions, they are brief but they paint incredibly vivid pictures which truly made the experience of ready the fic really enjoyable.
If you’re in the mood to read something different but don’t want to jump into a whole-lenght story this will leave you thinking and entertain you throughly.
I leave you a snippet of one its highlights:
Hancock levels a glare at Doflamingo that could cut stone, yet Doflamingo does nothing but smirk back unrepentantly. His ludicrous pink-feathered coat is pulled loosely around his shoulders, the hem of his loud patterned pants raising up to showcase his bare ankles as he crosses his legs. He props his head up on a hand with long, spidery fingers, and Hancock can’t read his expression past his sunglasses, curved and sharp like the wingtips of a predator bird. There’s only the twist of his grin, white and edged like a scimitar and twice as deadly, and Hancock hates him on principle.
Like goddamn, look at the writing, it’s fucking beautiful, the dialogue and the actual action are fantastic but this paragraph stole my heart as odd as it may sound.
regards,
Dee

House of the Lost 6 - Sneak Peek
House of the Lost:  Giant children aren't the only experiment in progress Luffy and the crew find in Punk Hazard.
MaLu. Slash.
“I… I think I had a panic attack.” He says it out loud because Marco can hardly believe it’s real. He starts sitting up, finally bringing a tanned face into view. Ussop’s expression is lined with worry but his posture is open and kind. He doesn’t push Marco, and doesn’t speak beyond his assurances of safety. Later, he’d appreciate his quiet support and patience, letting Marco put himself back together slowly and unprompted. Right then, there’s little he can focus on other than trying to take even breaths.
Luffy is still snoring away when they make their way to Marco’s room, but he blinks awake when they enter. He frowns but doesn’t ask. Marco climbs back in bed as Ussop leaves in search of Chopper. The younger man turns to Marco, careful to not crowd him and stretches one hand to rest on Marco’s stomach. There, soft circles brand itselves into his skin, and Marco cries. He’s terrified, Marco cannot dare feel like that again.
He doesn’t leave the room for days.

Justice & Freedom 16: Hawk Eyes (Update)
Justice and Freedom: Marco had not heard a lot about Rear-Admiral 'Straw Hat' Luffy, not until he crash-lands on his ship. slash.
"Mihawk, but… do you have to fight this man?" Shanks questions, mood somber.
"This confrontation has been years in the making," he answers gravely. It started in a plaza, in the epicenter of marine activity. Mihawk will never forget the first time he and Roronoa Zoro crossed blades.
"How can you be so sure you'll lose?"
"I trained him."
"Noting in this conversation is making sense." Red Hair informs him, seemingly done with asking inane questions.
"It doesn't have to," Mihawk doesn't shrug, but the sentiment is implied. "I want you to swear to me that you'll hand Perona your vivre card," it's one of the few things Mihawk's leaving her, along with the insurmountable responsibility of raising their child. Mihawk ignores the twitch in his heart, his bed was made long ago, he'd warned her. "She has Roronoa's, but I want to be sure that if he or his rambunctious captain makes a mistake, she will have who to turn to," his tone gains a heaviness uncharacteristic of his persona. It's probably unnecessary when it comes to Shanks, but Mihawk's perhaps more upset than he'd thought. "I saved your life. Make sure you save hers."
"Man, I can't believe you waited 30 years to collect on saving my kid ass from drowning. Talk about waiting for the right moment," Shanks says, tone loose, but his eyes holding promise in them. They burn as fiercely as when Mihawk picked up the runaway from his shipwreck three decades ago. "You shouldn't give up so easily."
"I have not," he assures.
You're both being stupid. Throwing away your lives for some useless, dumbass tittle. This is not cute at all!
Mihawk cannot afford it. He feels sorry for Roronoa, Mihawk hasn't felt this desire to not lose in a very long time.
