Ngl, I'm a bit disappointed by the decision to make Soldier Boy a fraud instead of the war veteran. Sure, it fits in The Boys' "all superheroes are fake" paradigm, but, at the same time, this character was more interesting and layered as an actual forgotten hero and patriot who is also a horrible person stuck in the past and corrupted by fame. The conflict between these two parts, combined with all kinds of trauma, made him more real.

It certainly doesn't help that before and after this reveal, Soldier Boy shows himself as a really competent and coolheaded... well, soldier, even when high and in distress. I mean, come on, this guy escaped from the lab in Moscow naked and on the next day, he already was in NY, hunting for his ex. Right in this episode, he found and ambushed Mindstorm and Hughie after they teleported. This shit is impressive. His only idiotic moment was aiming a launcher at an ammunition depot 40 years ago, but it still looked more like him messing with Mallory. The show suddenly telling us (in episode 7 out of 8) that he's just a poser doesn't just make his past a lie but implies viewers shouldn't have believed in things they actually saw.

Please note that I'm not talking about Soldier Boy being a good guy. The show wasn't subtle about him being a dick (even though they could've been more straightforward about his crimes from the start). I'm talking about the disconnect between what The Boys tells us about this character and what it shows.

The choice to make Soldier Boy a fake robs the character of any depth and turns him into Homelander Lite. Which probably is a point, but also extremely boring. It also makes the overall story cheaper if the only type of villains in it (aside from Giancarlo Esposito) is an overpowered asshole that buys his own hype.

#this entire character is so confusing it makes my head hurt #when they were hyping him for s3 i expected smth like watchmen's comedian #than mallory's first fb came and i was like ok he's the moron from the comics #but in the pt2 he was the only one to actually kick some ass #in episodes 5-6 he was tragic and traumatised and stuck in the past #and now in ep7 he's fake but not really but also yes #pls show make up your mind #if you want to make him morally grey or a sympathetic villain it's ok just commit to it #the boys #the boys spoilers #soldier boy #writing

Summary: After the events of the Seven Tower, you present Grace Mallory a new secret project you're working on already to develop a cure to Compound V. The only problem? You need Soldier Boy for that.

GEN MASTERLIST! — SERIES MASTERLIST!

Part I: For The Common Good

Two months.

Two months ago Grace Mallory decided to put the former greatest supe into sleep. Somehow, you managed to get in her head, explaining your new project to her and finding a new use for Soldier Boy, who had enough rest for 40 years.

You knew what happened at the Seven Tower, how Soldier Boy and Butcher's team ended up there to finally kill Homelander. Grace tried doing some shit against Vought before, but she never managed to win. It wasn't different this time. What was better then, that to develop a cure for supes like you, who didn't ask for it? People who never used their powers in public, nor seeked fame and money.

As a doctor in Chemistry, you were developing a cure for Compound V with a secret team. Suitable for you, you were in the same CIA tower Colonel Mallory decided to encapsulate Soldier Boy to, initially, spend the rest of his days in. You had luck Grace gave green light to the project, even though your team was already working on it without her approval anyway. But it was so much better if she found out properly.

Making your way to the super secured wing where Soldier Boy was held out of his sleep, you gripped the folder in your hands. You were scanned thoroughly before going inside a cold space, where two different crystal windows and metal doors separated the place. The armed guard guided you to the first room to check first through the window. You sighed, seeing a man sitting down, hands cuffed to a harsh steel table, gaze lost. It was him.

"The keys," you requested the guard by your side.

"Doctor-"

"I said, keys. He doesn't need to be cuffed."

He complied to your order, clearly annoyed but with a straight face and you walked to the closed door.

"If something happens, I can take care of myself. Don't let anyone inside understand?" you said.

He gave a nod. With that, he let you inside the room, the doors closing behind your back.

The prisoner observed you carefully as soon as you entered. His gaze was tired, but he seemed ready to attack, and it was completely hard to ignore his rough stare on you as you made your way to your seat in front of him. Soldier Boy observed you, placing the folder on the surface, and you held his gaze, not flinching for a second. Until you decided to talk first.

"I am glad you're awake. My name is Y/N, I am a doctor at the facility. Just wanna know how you're doing today," you spoke in a calm and soft way, so he could see you were not a threat.

He saw you roaming through the pages of the file, which he recognized as a copy of his file, and you took a pen from your lab coat to make some anotations.

"Not a smart move to let a fucking doctor here," he said with a deep voice, lips forming a straight line. "What do you want?"

"I want to help you."

"Cut the bullshit."

"I want to talk. If you let me, I will uncuff you so we can have a chat, like civilized people. Just don't try to escape, you won't go too far."

He raised an eyebrow as you reached his wrists and carefully, you set him free from the metal grip.

"I know what happened with Butcher and his boys," you said, confident that he would not try anything else. "About Homelander and your relationship with him."

"What the fuck do you know?" Soldier Boy tensed visibly hearing the name of the bastard. Still, he remained on his seat. "Want some info? You can lick Grace's pussy for that."

"She is, actually, the one who approved me to be here right now," you answered, brushing off his vocabulary. You used to deal with assholes like him all the time.

He scoffed. "Why?"

"Ben," you called his real name softly. "You've been sleeping for four decades. You deserve a second chance, I am offering you that. In some sort of way."

"I'm not going to be part of that freakshow-"

"This has nothing to do with Vought," you cut his words, his tone rising and you knew perfectly why. "You just need to be here in the facility, awake, in a dignified place we will give you so you can learn everything you missed. We can give you therapy, a comfy room, anything you want that's legal, of course..."

His jaw clenched, feeling you would ask for something more. "In exchange of what?"

"I know it's hard, unfortunately you won't be able to get out, but you don't deserve to sleep forever again," you sighed. "I will pay you visits and follow your improvements because you're human, after all. That's all I ask from you," you gave him a smile for the first time.

For a few moments, he said nothing, as if making up his mind about it. "Alright, anything but coming back to that shit hole. I need reefer though."

"Lucky you, that's legal now. We can certainly make it happen."

He looked around the room as you let him go inside first. Not the fanciest, not the shittiest. It had the basics: a bed, a sofa, a TV, a closet, a bookshelf with different books, magazines and newspapers he wasn't sure would read any time, a separate door for a bathroom, enough privacy, and no windows though. It wasn't really a cell, but he did look and felt somehow like a hostage. Just a little less if he could say.

"This is what we have for now, I am all ears if you request something else to have in here," you began as he paced around and tested the bed, sitting down on the mattress.

Ben still wasn't convinced on why you offered this to him. Sceptic, he gave a good look at you, roaming his eyes at your standing figure in a fucking lab coat. Christ, he hated those. Too pretty for a doctor, but too dumb to be locked with a supe like him. He was so tired that he didn't try and hit on you like he normally would with any walking pussy that appeared in plain sight. He was too exhausted to even give a shit.

"Lemme think about it, doctor."

"Of course, take your time," you replied as he walked toward the bookshelf, scanning through the titles there were. He recognized only half of them.

"So, I will be imprisoned here instead of a fucking eggshell," Ben said, turning around to meet you. "Charming," he smirked, dragging the words out of his mouth. "Doing charity."

He watched your face drop as you shook your head. "It's not like that-"

"Then why keep me awake?" Ben insisted as he gave steps to get close to you. "I can't die, it's much easier to force my sleep in a capsule your boss made specially for me."

He stopped mere inches in front of you, your eyes never turned away from him. He thought you were fucking brave just by keeping his dark gaze.

"Ben, I told you I will be watching your progress. You can grow from all of this with our help-"

"What kind of doctor are you?"

"A psychiatrist. That's why I'm here."

Ben scoffed with a grin showing on his lips. He didn't believe in that kind of shit, but oh, well. What was he gonna do about it? He was tired of sleeping, Mallory captured him, and you were here, giving him a shelter for no cost, but his freedom. In his mind, that was temporary of course. With time, a plan would come. Right now, he just needed to keep up with the fucked up things of the modern world.

"I guess you would come and babysit me then," he said, going back to take a sit on the bed.

"Wouldn't use 'babysit you' but I will come to see you, that's for sure."

He nodded. Silence was his answer, so you continued.

"Just general rules. Our people will bring you three meals a day, if you're missing something that you need then just push the button by the door, there will be guards outside to assist you on that. Also, there are clothes your size on the closet and personal products so you can change and take a shower," he stayed silent again, just taking in your words. "If you don't need anything then I leave you to get comfortable," you said, about to leave.

"Wait. I do need something," he hesitated for a moment, but he continued anyway. "Don't use those lab coats when you come in."

Your eyes widened, he quickly realised you already knew why he was requesting that when you started to take off the coat, revealing your formal attire. You wrapped the coat on your arm and cleaned your throat.

"I totally understand, I will keep that in mind when I come tomorrow. And I will ask for your reefer too."

You flashed a final polite smile and left him to get settled. Ben breathed out. Fuck, he really needed a shower.

“FUCK OFF,” you hissed at your long-time best friend, steve harrington, watching as the nonchalant smile across his face flickered.

you were fuming. at steve harrington, at his stupid hair and his stupid face. it was halloween, the two of you were at a party, and you had arrived with robin, who had blown you off as soon as she had caught sight of vickie standing in the corner with a red solo cup in her hand.

you were dressed as sloane peterson, from ferris bueller’s day off; robin was dressed as… well, you weren’t quite sure, and it was too late to ask anyway. steve, of course, had gone as maverick from top gun – you weren’t the least bit surprised when he had shown up at your door earlier that night with the iconic aviator glasses on, and the jacket. god, you had to admit he did look heavenly with the glasses and jacket. his obsession with maverick stemmed from when the entire gang had seen it in theaters on a friday afternoon. after all the vecna business, you were in a dire need of a well-deserved break.

top gun had become a life-changing moment for you and steve; the two of you walked out of the theater as two completely different people. or, at least, that’s what you liked to think. in all honesty, nothing had changed apart from your newfound obsession with iceman (val kilmer), and steve’s raging obsession with tom cruise.

steve had protested going to a party for halloween, citing the fact he was “too mature now” to participate in the activities of highschoolers. you had snorted and dragged him with you; after all, one party couldn’t hurt, could it? you weren’t even sure who threw the party – it was the least of your concerns – but after not seeing anyone from hawkins high, you concluded it was probably a college kid who stuck around. you just wanted to have some fun, and the pounding music in the background fit the sweaty atmosphere.

you glared at steve as he stretched a hand out to you from the midst of other people sloppily dancing to the blaring music, acting as if he didn’t do anything wrong. he yanked his hand back, confusion painting his features, “what’d i do this time?”

the question angered you further, how could he not know what he did? his nonchalant demeanor painted the entire incident as a minor inconvenience. “figure it out.”

you couldn’t tell what he was thinking, the aviators successfully shielded his eyes and you guessed it was apprehension that appeared on his face. you turned away from him, directing your attention toward the table behind you, carrying the giant punch bowl, and began to pour some out in an empty solo cup.

behind you, corey hart’s voice suddenly halted in the middle of “sunglasses at night” – you whirled around to find the source, only to see steve standing with a microphone (how he found it, you weren’t sure) and a hand pointing at you. you stared at him in disbelief. there was no way.

“you never close your eyes anymore, when i kiss your lips,” he sang, slightly off-beat, dragging the syllables of “lips” out. taking a sip of your drink, you hid your amusement and the slight turning up of the corner of your lips, you watched him take a few steps toward you until you were within a foot of each other, and he began to snap his fingers as robin sang the next verse. the last you knew, she was talking to vickie, so how she ended up playing wingwoman for steve was a mystery. “and there’s no tenderness like before in your fingertiiips.”

you snorted when steve continued, leaning toward you, his aviator glasses sliding slightly down his nose – enough for you to make eye contact. you tried to avert your gaze as heat rose to your cheeks, shaking your head as onlookers began to crowd around steve and robin.

“you’re trying hard not to show it,” steve paused briefly, breaking the eye contact previously held between the two of you, glancing around at the crowd formed around you, made up of your old highschool friends and acquaintances.

after the momentary silence, in which you could all hear the crickets chirping outside into the late night, the entire crowd of sweaty party-goers joined steve, “but baby, baby i know it.”

god, you were already feeling the start of a migraine as everyone began screaming their hearts out, “YOU’VE LOST THAT LOVIN’ FEELIN’.”

against your personal desire, and self control, you let out a small laugh at steve’s childish antics, “sit down,” quoting charlie from the movie. he bowed to the crowd before joining you.

“you’re an attention whore, you know that?” you aimed the rhetorical question at him, as he leaned against the table, suffocatingly close to you – you could feel the heat of his shoulder when it brushed against yours, as he reached behind you. you kept your gaze trained on the people in front of you finishing the rendition of “you’ve lost that lovin’ feelin’”, ignoring steve’s eyes on you.

“all attention is good attention,” he laughed. you smiled, shoving him, ignoring the tingling feeling rising in the pit of your stomach from the brief contact. you put your cup down behind you.

“you’ll have girls linin’ up just for you to serenade them now,” you teased him, avoiding the feelings arising within you at the thought of steve with someone that wasn’t you. you had been in love with him since the end of your junior year (his senior year) even though he was with nancy at the time, and it had broken your heart to see them together. “you’re back in business, steve.”

steve merely smiled, uncharacteristically taking a long sip of his drink, putting the cup down, and avoiding your stare as silence settled like an uninvited guest. “but did it work on you though?”

your eyes widened and you met steve’s gaze head on, he had taken the aviator glasses off and tucked them in his jacket and the intent look behind his eyes drew you in. you understood what he was trying to say, and you began to nervously play with the long silver earrings you had put on to better resemble sloane from ferris bueller's day off.

in that moment, your previous anger had dissipated as quickly as it came as you looked at steve harrington, your best friend your entire life, the boy you had liked since your junior year, who had been there for you through thick and thin. a soft “yes” left you as you leaned forward, grabbed the collar of his jacket, and pulled him into a kiss.

you pulled away from him, smiling as you attempt to be stern, “don’t think i haven’t forgotten about you stealing my candy, by the way.”

“that’s what you’re upset about?” steve stared at you in disbelief.

you laughed at his facial expression, “you can find a way to make it up to me y’know?”

he grabbed your hand, and “don’t you forget about me” began to drown out all other noise and the two of you made your exit from the party.

but thats a silly idea sooo not only do i have to cope with the end of the show, i have to (actually) cope with tech's death for realsies!!

anyway, it's been so much fun being in this fandom. i'm not going anywhere, im still gonna write for them and draw them

this show has really been everything to me tho. like genuinely. ive never been so excited for wednesdays, and i actually havent had a hyperfixation quite like this either. im definitely going to still think about this show in my late 60's (maybe even later if my memory doesnt go)

and everyone in this fandom is so incredibly supportive of each other and i love that so much like aaabdksjdjfjfj

i think us fans truly make the experience better for each other :)

Here we go! Another great episode with some good stuff to talk about so let's get into it!

Soundtrack is incredible as always. Loving the slightly western tones. It's kinda giving TLOU meets RDR2.

I love that they're addressing the fact that Echo being gone means they need to reevaluate how they split up the team on missions.

They've worked with a squad of 4 before, but when one of them is a child that makes things a little trickier.

Omega misses Echo. ☹️

"Omega's a child. She shouldn't be living a dangerous life". *proceeds to make Omega extract highly explosive substances*.

Anyway, back to the almost drowning.

I actually really love the use of Hunter's senses this episode.

I thought they were gonna find an alternate route, not have Wrecker and Hunter also go down the waterfall. 😭

WITH EXPLOSIVES MIND YOU!

Awww. Tech talking about his emotions!

I love that he's explaining to her that he processes emotions differently. It's not that he doesn't care, it's just that he works through them in a different way.

Crosshair mention as well! 😭

That fact that Tech says he has to respect both of their decisions!

Tech may not agree with Crosshair's choice to stay with the Empire, but he understands that it's his brother's decision. It reminds me of "Understanding you does mean that I agree with you".

Tech cares about both of his brothers and yes, he misses them, but he manages his feelings in his own way. 🥲

I'm worried about the Tech hate that's probably gonna come outta this episode though. Some people already don't enjoy his bluntness and I worry they're gonna come after him for being a "dick".

He just processes emotions differently!!! He's not a bad person!!!

Aw, no Tech and Omega hug. ☹️

AHHHHH WE GOTTA WAIT NOW 😭

First time we've had a two parter this season where we've actually had to wait for part 2.

Overall, I really liked this episode! I know there's going to be people jumping on it saying "it's just filler" and "it isn't progressing the plot". Emotional development is development! Let them all talk about their feelings!!!

They're clearly all struggling a bit with Echo leaving. Everyone is tense and bickering with each other, and while I know the guys are talking about how they need to accept it and move on, they're clearly all thrown off by the whole situation. I'm also happy that they're addressing the fact that Echo not being there requires them to rethink how they split up the squad. Three adults and a kid is a hard group to divide up.

Omega constantly trying to call Echo for help breaks my heart. She misses him, we miss him, his brothers miss him. There's gonna be a lot of missing him until he comes back. ☹️ I do wonder how often they actually keep in touch with him, though. Is Omega chatting to him when she can normally, or is it just because they're stuck and need his help this time?

I'm also really glad to see more Tech development! Yeah, he screwed up with Omega earlier on in the episode, but he worked through it. He's not really used to this type of thing but he's trying. And he acknowledges that they're a family. 😭

Also, I didn't mention this in the bullet points because I only just remembered this but Omega using Tech's words at the end! About how they can find a solution like they always do!!! I love seeing the little bits of influence that all of the guys have on her.

But, yeah! Long thoughts post today. Didn't expect to say quite this much but I'm missing Echo and I'm a stickler for emotional moments so I really enjoyed this episode.

Now we just have to wait a week! 😭

-But in all seriousness i feel like this whole thing in ep 7 was such a parallel to s1 but also a very necessary bit of conflict in their journey together that was bound to happen. THey want different things and neither is wrong or right for that. Stede did react poorly tho but like he just had sex w the love of his life, his first man, and Ed the very next day is like "aight i'm out". I'd be pissed too. After killing someone which we know is a big trigger for him historically.

But Ed also had a valid reaction. He's wanted to retire for a while and stede knows this but it hasn't seemed to have sunk in quite yet. He fears that Stede only sees Blackbeard and...its fair of him to have that impression tbh. These are two messy, traumatized dudes who have never had a real relationship and there's gonna be bumps. I hope we get s3 so we can better explore that like Djenks wants.

Finally finished HSMTMTS ⭐

besties im so sorry but i am so tired of wlw storylines that include cheating (it was emotional cheating to me even if they only almost kissed). i liked how the big red/ashlyn break up went (supportive bi exes, yes pls!) but i just wish it happened sooner :<

sebi cheating???? i have no words like,, out of all the characters in this show—sebi?????????? tho im glad it worked out between him and carlos bc i love them

Rina is obv amazing and their build up is SO beautiful. I came in knowing that they were going to be a thing eventually but I did think that it was just because of Olivia's departure. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that their romantic timeline started as early as season 1

i didnt care abt the adults lmao im sorry also didnt care abt the kids in s3

i had already watched the ricky "im in love" song scene before watching the episode and i loved it but when i watched the episode i was in ABSOLUTE adoration over how the moment breaks the chaotic vibe in the episode and it just made me feel so much relief and comfort on top of the feels. the song's just so good what—

s4's original songs were noticeably a step above the rest of the seasons' orig songs sorry not sorry

think my fav character is probably gina. i feel like i was surprised by her ever since the 1st season bc of the intimidating persona treatment but to have her be so vulnerable by the end of s1 just bc she's confessing to her crush that she likes him got me pikachu shocked face. i just wasnt expecting it and it was so nice to see. and then she got so cheesed every time she was w ricky by s4 like awwwwwwwww u go girl, embrace ur softness, i love that for u

i absolutely deserved to watch that storyline between big red and the not-french guy >:c

i kinda feel like ej had more potential to be given storylines that focused on him finding his place in the world and figuring out what he wanted to do w his life. it was touched upon a lil bit but i def think there couldve been more

i wish maddox and jet came in earlier in the series i loved both of them

ashlyn as belle was THE perfect casting

i was kinda hoping airport boy would come back lol

didnt like jojo siwa's performance lol im sorry. completely took me out of the immersive experience and the chemistry was zerozerozero

nini and ricky's break up was written so beautifully. a lot of adult dramas dont even feature break ups that mature. it was so well done and there needs to be more of that in every type of drama

s3 trailer & bts & teasers

*spoilers?*

This season is I think 10 episodes. From some pics that Ludwika posted during post-production it's visible in the script that there at least is an episode 310. Also, if we're looking patterns from previous season's trailers then the clips from the s3 trailer most probably are from episodes 1-5, and maybe some short ones from later episodes. Anyways, here's me predicting a timeline!

Ep. 1: Dinner + office I'm guessing the breakfast at Ana's is gonna be the opening scene, just like in s2. Then she goes to the office and chats with Mariana, who looks terrified half the time in this trailer… hmm. In that office scene when she tells Ana about Ferrán she just looks so stressed, which she probably is lmao I can't really blame her. Anyways, I can also see the part from the teaser where Ana makes dinner for them (while Mariana is with Ferrán :SS) also happens in the first maybe 1-3 episodes.

Ep. 1-2?: JC spying He plants the mics and Ana finds them, then JC finds them broken. This might also happen in the first episodes, maybe even in the first one. Also is Mariana sleeping at Ana's place? Ana has the same outfit on in the trailer when she finds the mics and then in another pic where they're eating, and Mariana is in pyjamas. They're really really doing the fake dating?? And is JC still in the house? From the pic it looks like there's a plate where he usually sits, so... I guess... :S

Ep. 3: Chocolates ...is the name of this ep!

Ep. 4: It's happening???! According to the IG story scripts the ladies’ trip happens in episode 4. Now what happens so they end up there, Idk. Where are they going and why, Idk either. What's known is that they're driving somewhere, Ana and Mariana are chatting as usual, talking about who the best driver is (ofc Ana claims she’s the better one). Then Ana mentions that she's tired so Mariana drives instead. Here, it seems like Mariana's about to crash the car into a cow (not a bull) which is what Ana is referring to in the teaser, or a train as written in the script... I think they leave their car and maybe hitchhike to another town? There's this cast member who is referred to as "mecanico" and is seen in the truck with Ana and Mariana. He's not driving Ana's car. So they probably decide to stay the night and hang around the town. It looks like there's a band playing, so I hope they're gonna hang around and just have a nice time! Just them. They also seem a little tipsy in the teaser... So maybe they'll have some drinks and then the teaser part comes where they're chatting and having a moment. I guess after this part is when the kissing from the trailer comes. Now is it actually happening, is it a dream or something else, Idk. It looks real tho... I think the lighting kind of makes it look "dreamy" lol but, the clothes are the same plus them being tipsy... it could be fr. I guess this is one of those too good to be true moments but, it's not impossible! I'm having high hope for this episode. It feels like it'll be a really good one.

Ep. 5-6?: Yo estoy enamorada de Ferrán I think Mariana telling Ana that she never broke up with Ferrán happens after the ep. 4 kissing which is why Ana also looks SO hopeful, and then so confused and let down. Also because the kissing is in ep. 4, they're most probably keeping Ferrán for more than 4 episodes.

Ep. 5-6?: Ana + Elena Ana seeing Elena and the other lady happens in the middle. This show has a pretty fast pace so I wouldn't be surprised if Ana's exploring only lasts for one/two episodes, while maybe Mariana in the same episodes can't get it to work with Ferrán and comes to her own conclusions. Is she gonna see Ana with the other woman? Is she gonna get jealous? (pls)

Ep. 7-8? Reconciliation? I wonder if this is the reconciliation moment after everything goes down with Ana's date and Ferrán. And are Ana and Mariana going to stop seeing each other for a while like in s2? In any case, in the trailer (andthe gif) it looks like Mariana's saying "Ana", and looks surprised and happy, maybe relieved? and the peep Ana’s jacket on the armchair, it looks like the jacket in the photo. Is this Elena's place? I don’t think it is… but there have been a couple of times Ludwika has been filming at Elena's house so I hope they have scenes together and actually become friendly, or even friends :D.

Ep. 9-10: The End Rodrigo has his graduation at some point, maybe that could also be at the end, together with the celebration at Ana's and then lastly Tere having her baby, which ties it all from 101 to 310 together.

Ep. 1-7?: Ferrán Matías Novoa (Ferrán) also posted some scripts. My guess is he'll be in the first half of the season at least if not more. The scene where Mariana is talking to Lucía and Tere maybe is from episodes 5-7? There is this script that he posted but I can't see the episode number... it looks like 307, but I'm not sure. Mariana and Ferrán are preparing to sleep but they are having a discussion about the girls. She's saying "What were you thinking?!" "One: If Ana finds out, she'll kill me. Two: You didn't tell me, and three: I left [the girls] with you so you could bond with them, if not, I prefer leaving them with my mom or my grandma". Then Ferrán says that he's sorry and he didn't want to disturb her in the middle of her meeting and so he had no other choice basically. Mariana says that it's fine but that it can't happen again. What did he do lol?? If there are 10 episodes, then maybe their break up could happen in ep. 7.

(Also Ferrán always buying things for Mariana or Regina and trying to make her stay is just so... just stop lmao. Like their whole relationship started with him buying her a new bike, then toys for Regina without asking, and in s3 it looks like he bought a crib and then in the teaser clip a fkn iMac for Mariana, like we get it.)

Ep. ?: Ana tucking Mariana in At the end of the trailer Ana is in this houndstooth patterned dress, while Mariana is sleeping in her bed. I don't know where or what event Ana could've been to... If it would be work related then Mariana would've joined too since they're still working together (or are they?). Is Mariana actually staying at her house? I don't think permanently but for sure from time to time. Where would this bit fit? There could be so many different scenarios xd

Ep. ?: Ana + JC The Ana + JC meditation trip is very loose in the timeline, I have no idea where this would fit either... maybe in the middle somewhere, after they "split up" again. Also in the script, at the top it looks like Ana is talking to her mom about her dad, and how she doesn't want to see him again. I think he comes to her house, then she visits him at some point. I think her dad has been so absent he barely knows how many children she even has (shown in the script). There's another one where JC and Ro are at a golf course with JC's dad, so apparently the grandpas are joining this season. I think JC's and Victor's dad is in the hospital in the finale as well.

So yeah I'm imagining something like this... Then again, I thought that Ana and Mariana weren't gonna mention whatever happened in the first season maybe until 202 or 203, but it literally happened after like 10 minutes lmao, so yeah I'm probably way off. But anyways it's fun to speculate :D

going back through some old notes on my phone and found my unfiltered original reactions to volumes 1 & 2 of stranger things 4… (spoilers below the break)

VOL 1

- HOLY FUCK EPISODE SEVEN

- did NOT see that reveal coming

- The ends of eps 4 and 7 are fucking amazing

- NANCY!!! Not sure how she’ll fare, not looking good obvs, (and I did originally think she’d die, but I hope not ofc) but I love the callback to the pool and Barb

- This is Dustin’s season lol

- Joyce Hop and Murray better fucking get out of that prison- their reunion was heartbreaking, but I also was like RUN don’t do another bob

- About Vecna/001/Creel son… so his powers/the killings weren’t related to the upside down until El imprisoned him there… so the upside down existed already but El opened the gate to put 001 through and that was the beginning of the contact with our world?… also how did Brenner try to replicate 001? Heard some disturbing theories about sperm donation but that’s super fucked up so I’m not sure how but I hope they explain? Also how did he get his powers in the first place? Finally what amazing casting

- Never thought I’d be rooting for Steve and Nancy lol but I guess maturity happens

- Erica is the fucking best

- The 001 reveal was fantastic. Jaw on the floor.

- Why does 001 care for 011 more than the others? Seen theories that she’s his kid but???

- Relationship between 001 and the mind flayer?

- MAX omg that scene was AMAZING on all levels and her ACTING

- Also why was Brenner using 001 as a guard?? Doesn’t make sense?
