nope, but in the times where they're both fine with skin contact, ty would be the one to initiate it most of the time. it would usually be simple touches like holding ashlyn's hand or grazing his knuckle on her arm or face. he also ruffles her hair when he can get away with it!

7. Who's clumsier?

ashlyn, but only when her thought's are pretty loud and she's too distracted to pay attention to where she's walking. thankfully, ty's there to stop her from walking straight to a post.

8. Who is a morning person? Who is a night owl?

ty rises with the sun while ashlyn rises with the moon! this is literally how their morning starts lmao

(i may have spent more than five mins making this meme)

17. Who is more competitive?

both are insanely competitive! they will compete at just about anything they think the other would suck at (but it's all in good fun, plus the winner gets to tell the loser what to do afterwards)

19. What do they fight about most often? (Alternative: what was their biggest fight?)

Alternative: their biggest fight was when ashlyn couldn't stop feeling guilty for what had happened to tyler, so whenever they're in a dangerous situation, she'd take unnecessary risks in order to save him. tyler caller her out for being too reckless, and the argument only intensifies when ashlyn tries to justify her actions.

the argument goes on for a while until ty's managed to for her hand and she finally admits why she's so reckless and desperate to put her own life in danger-- and it's solely cause she didn't want to see him hurt ever again. and ty isn't necessarily comforted by her answer, bc he isn't used to being the one on the receiving end of someone else's sacrifice, but at least he knows now why she did what she did.

in the end, they'll talk it out and find a way to resolve the issue together.

20. Who randomly brings home a stray puppy/kitten to adopt?

ashlyn, but only to nurse the stray back to full health, and then she and tyler will take it to a shelter for adoption.

but it's all good until ashlyn gets too attached to a stray puppy they found one afternoon.......

'acts of service' is practically hanging above both of their heads asfkhaflash

actions have always spoken louder for them when it comes to professing their affection! a home cooked meal left in ashlyn's fridge when she's too tired to make anything herself, or tyler waking up to find the dishes he still left at the sink already washed and put away.

they will always take each other's load if they can, because it may be heavy, but they are worth it.

24. Sleeping/cuddling positions? (Big spoon, little spoon, etc.)?

ashlyn is little spoon, but it takes a lot of grumbling on her part to finally accept such a role.

39. Do they get along with the other's family? If not, how do they deal with the other's family?

ash and tay are besties through and through, and mariana is very fond of her!

ty is practically the golden boy(friend) in ash's house. he's responsible, no nonesesne when it comes to dating her, and he is always so helpful around the house, and would always visit with a flower for emma and a polite greeting to mike.

They really like her strong imagery, plot twists, and her stories are pretty gore-heavy but the narration is quite compelling (seriously, she goes so in depth on random macabre shit like different types of murders, ways to cover up said murders, poisons and upkeep on daggers and all this dark shit etc etc that a popular comment she’ll get is ‘hey not to be rude but whats your search history like because how do you KNOW all this??’)

Meanwhile Enid mainly writes fanfics of her fav kpop bands and other OTPs that are often AUs or canon divergent heavy, sometimes she’ll pop off with the most hilarious fanfic that is pure CRACK

That being said, Enid’s works have some pretty damn good dialogue I just know it in my bones that she’s a character driven type of writer

Her emotional introspection is also? Surprisingly good?? Like damn when the feels hit they HIT, Enid is definitely the type to write the fluffest fluff, the angstiest angst, and the most cathartic hurt/comfort you’ll ever read if you make the conscious decision to look past her occasional grammatical errors and other typos

Wednesday’s original works, on the other hand, definitely aren't as much of a heartthrob, they’re probably more plot driven with less space for overly descriptive emotional scenes (both writing styles are valid as hell, mind you)

One day Enid discovers Wednesday’s secret ao3 and lives to tell the tale because deep down Miss Addams is a GAY GAY HOMOSEXUAL GAY

In exchange for keeping hush hush, Wednesday has to become Enid’s full-time beta reader for every. Single. Fic.

Wednesday HATES such drivel but agrees to such terms in order to keep her secret safe, much to Thing’s teasing delight over how soft she is for her fellow writer (“For producing such literary muck, she does not even deserve the privilege to tarnish such a title.” “I know what you are, Wednesday.” “What kind of threat is that?”)

I mean that being said, Wednesday gets low key invested in the sapphic otp fanfics Enid seems to have a penchant for writing when the fic isn’t kpop centered, her interest stems from uh nooooo reassooonnn noshutupThingthisdoesntmeananything-

When Enid brings up branching out to writing about OCs like Wednesday does-

Wednesday hates fandom terms like ‘OCs’ btw

So yeah!! Enid branches out and starts writing silly little oneshots about various OCs, and if Wednesday notes that all of the stories revolve around gay characters, and if Thing notices how invested Wednesday gets in these silly little sapphics to point where he keeps commenting on it….

Andddd that’s the story of how Enid came back to the dorm with Thing being locked up in the drawer while Wednesday is burying her face in her pillow in what looks like a half-hearted attempt of suffocating herself

Anyways Wednesday’s repressed ass starts to ‘vent’ in her fanfics, if people start noticing DaysEnd incorporating more romance into their works no they don't stfu

It gets to the point where she ‘confesses’ to Enid by having Viper confesses to this new bubbly character that was recently introduced (“These feelings you have plagued me with, you make me sick,” said Viper, “And for my sake, I hope there is no cure.”)

Enid, with a lot I mean a metric fuckton of persuasion from Thing, eventually picks up on this and confesses back

Cue Wednesday beta reading Enid’s latest wattpad work and noticing how it’s about two polar opposite roomates who somehow make it work, and when the cheery one says to the gloomy one, “I also hope there’s no cure for the way I feel about you” it suddenly all clicks for Wednesday

Head Canon

She goes on early morning walks, it’s normally when the junkyard is the most quiet and she can see the sun just as it’s about to rise. She never did get to go outside much when she was with Macavity nonetheless during daytime so just getting to pace around the outdoors really brings her peace and joy.

Unpopular opinion

I think they can go a little further with her? Like more paranoid and unhinged. Like I think it would be interesting if some of the jellicles doubted when she screams “Macavity” since it’s been false alarms for most of the night. I think it’ll make Macavity’s eventual reveal and the toll it takes on Demeter more impactful.

A wish

probably just to live the rest of her life in peace, she’s been through so much already that living a “boring” life would be a privilege in and of itself

Macavity successfully capturing herself or Jemima is probably her nightmare scenario. But I think the worst thing that could happen to her did happen to her already when Macavity tried to kidnap her and ended up hurting the community and cats she loves most.

This took much longer than expected. I should have expected it though because I always write too much. Thank you so much for the ask, @dottie-wan-kenobi! I enjoyed getting the chance to ponder and flail about fandom!

U - 5 favorite characters from 5 different fandoms

Persona 5: Goro Akechi. My poor little meow meow. His duality fascinates me: who he presents himself to be vs. who he really is, who he wanted to be as a child vs. who he has become now. His slow realization that he’s merely the puppet of more powerful forces in the game (Shido, Yaldabaoth (though he doesn’t quite know this), and Maruki) is heartbreaking, as are the choices that he makes to break free from that control.

Yuri on Ice: Yuuri Katsuki. He is so important to me. He’s so wrapped up in his head, striving for acknowledgement, for success, for Victor, that he doesn’t see his own talent or how bright of a light that he is. His blossoming over the course of the show is lovely. I desperately wish for a season two of the show (or the long delayed movie) because I want to see more of Yuuri’s journey to discover life and love.

Bungou Stray Dogs: Nakahara Chuuya. I am in aesthetic lust with his design. There’s just something about it that calls to me. The red hair, the jaunty hat, the even jauntier grin, the choker and the coat. He’s a pintsized powerhouse and so achingly human (despite his less than human origins). His dynamic with Dazai is fascinating, and I wish we got to see more of him in the anime & manga.

Final Fantasy XV: Prompto Argentum. See above re: Nakahara Chuuya being so achingly human despite his origins. See above re: Yuuri Katsuki and his anxiety and lack of belief in himself. See above re: Goro Akechi and the power of Robbie Daymond as a voice actor. He’s an anxious ball of sunshine just trying to keep up with royalty, and I love how he helps Noctis to feel human, despite the literal weight of the world on his shoulders.

Game of Thrones: Sansa Stark. Sansa for queen. I found her story the most compelling in the show (it’s been too long since I’ve read the books for me to comment on them). She has such a hard, relentless reality check. The little songbird is nearly crushed by the cruelty of the world, but she finds a way to survive in the figurative lion’s den, without any physical or mystical prowess. She should have been Queen of all Westeros at the end, not just Queen of the North.

V - 3 OTPs from 3 different fandoms

Persona 5: Goro Akechi x Akira Kurusu (Ren Amamiya). Because, to paraphrase Hegel, advancement cannot occur without both thesis and antithesis. Because they are two sides of the same coin. Because in other circumstances they could have been great rivals, maybe even friends. Because Akira is the one person that Goro refuses to lose to. Because Akira held on to the glove. Because Goro being alive & his real, angry, jaded self is Akira’s greatest wish.

i've still only watched 2 episodes of the live action ATLA show btw... ngl it's not like. the worst thing ever, at least not so far, but i'm also just not that engaged by it and currently the only reason i'm interested in continuing is because i've seen zutara stans all over my dash freaking out over a scarf and i need to understand why.

I will do a rundown of all the planets with their associated houses (per element) and I'll include the minor houses I usually give, if I feel like they're strong enough. And because the Houses have a loose association with the elements, I'll also list those out, too. Then we'll pick it apart and explore bits and pieces!

Now I always prioritize the inner planets. Jupiter and Saturn are more moderate, or intermediary planets. Not as personal as the inner planets, but not quite as generational as the outer planets. Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are farther from the sun, and considered generational because they represent more of our generation and how society and the world changes and impacts how each generation grows up. So less personal. Still important in their own ways, but not areas I look at without reason.

But let's sort of tally up what the outer planets look like between the signs and houses.

5 points for Gryffindor, 3 points for Ravenclaw, 1 point for Slytherin, 1 point for Hufflepuff.

From here (for reasons) I'm going to work a bit backwards through the outermost inner planet up to our topmost luminary.

Mars: planet of aggression, action, and drive. In Capricorn, the cardinal (forward moving) earth sign (stability, security.) Capricorn is the Goat (or: the GOAT) and is ruled by Saturn. Capricorn is all about ambition, success, responsibility, etc. So they are driven (Mars) by ambition, and a need to succeed. They are driven (Mars) by the need for security and stability (earth.) And they take action in very Capricorn ways. Very putting in the work (earth), very practical, very determined. Very letter of the law, in a way, ruled as it is by Saturn. Very about doing things right, and also just getting them done. Capricorn wants RESULTS. Hufflepuff for how hard it works. In Mars the more Slytherin nature pops out, too. I just wanna say, that I called it back in 2020, Bryke leaving wasn't just Netflix wanting Zutara to be canon. they butchered it in such a way that I am in shock. I finished last night. it's like they're trying to remake the show with what they remembered not actually the source material. As much as I want Zutara to be in LA I do not want them to butcher it. ALL IN ALL: I hate it thanks. someone described it as a trainwreck i can't look away from and that's true. I am watching solely to be a hater. (to the material never to the actors. I have to admit that they are wholesome and are trying their best. It's never the actor's fault.)

as much as I want to like it because of some additions the taking away is too great to ignore. the fact that most of the character arcs are gone, and they compress 24 20-minute episodes into 8 feels like a cop-out. the main character isn't even the main character anymore. with the time we spend on Zukos ship, this is the Zuko show, not the Aang show. Did you spend five years developing a show on Netflix and this is what it yields? wow.

Though Never felt bad about this, Staurn in 8th house I just have a lot to learn I think, but IC Capricorn, Chiron in 3rd (I was always put in an assistance room in school, and I remember the Educational assistant fought he principal to put me back into a normal class but instead the school enforced that I had a learning disability when in reality I just never did work or learned because I slept or listen to music at school to take a break from my problems at home) Neptune in 4th (alot of my family has abandoned me) Lilith in 5th house....this one I dont hate at all I love it all the way. But look at this lilith in 5th house, venus in virgo 29° in 12th house, moon in 12th, Saturn in 8th house.....no wonder I cannot commit to a relationship and sabotage it once it starts, I have a hard time expressing myself with all of these, but I still think chiron in 3rd fucked me up too much, I had nothing, not even an Education.....

Answer: I think it sorta plays into the whole destiny thing, but honestly, you could change if you want to....i mean idk...I find it hard to change myself yet I reinvent myself every few years so idk man....

Answer: To a point yes, but I'm still learning so maybe that's not true, I think if you're strong enough you can make anything work....

36. How seriously do you take Astrology?

Answer: Seriously, it's a religion and I realize that, but, I'm not so set in STONE about everything....I'll definitely check astro shit of those around me....and keep an eye, not judge, but just to see if their lives actually check out to their chart and most really do.

Answer: Yes, and even though in my core part of my soul I truly believe in it, I still always question everything about it, it's healthy to always stay a bit skeptical Especially about what you yourself believe in.

Answer: No not at all, that's just apart of life, you don't need to brace yourself every time there is a tornado warning....at least where I live...we get warnings but none of us actually brace ourselves unless we know it's COMING COMING.

Answer: Yes, I wouldnt say Astrology is the motivation behind all my career and relationship motives, but it's funny to keep an eye on it for that...just to see you know?

Answer: doesn't matter, only matters if I believe in it, why fight or look down on someone if they believe someone, it's just a religion, something to give us hope I guess.

Answer: Yes, a HUGE part, I think it's just because I'm always searching for some kinda answer to something....

Answer: Ha! Good thing my dominant is my sign sun so uh.....
