The Biker and Sentai ship sounds adorable. They’d race. Sentai Genji would have a green motorcycle and biker reaper would have an orange motorcycle.

Been wanting to draw them on bikes! I don't have much experience designing one so I took inspiration from BMW and added design traits from the game's skins. Reaper originally got a chopper bike but I realized he wouldn't be able to race with it (unless Genji gets a chopper as well XD)

Random au idea I had while looking at sentai genji stuff and listening to the power rangers samurai opening theme on repeat (don't judge me)

!This is decently long, and is probably written quite jumbled as it's ADHD random word vomit nonsense so heads up!

Also this would probably have more overlapping elements with power rangers samurai as that's the one I grew up with and the one I watched. Probably along with other elements from like million other places I could not pinpoint if I tried.

(This both could work as a TV show concept and all of them are just actors playing roles in the story, or just that is just the universe they are actually the characters)

So the first group obviously being OverWatch but minus Genji ,Hanzo and kiriko from it.

Then the second group being the the sentai/power rangers.

And the third being the shimada clan/nighlok Oni things

In this the shimada Clan are the like the nighloks(but they would be way more heavily influenced by oni in their appearance and work a similar way as demons), and are the evil group Tring to take over the world, with the rangers being the only ones able to stop them. The rangers would contain genji, kiriko and some of the other members of the yokai (kirikos gang [?] from in canon). Genji obviously originally being from the shimada clan disapproved of their ways and ran away and eventually ended up joining the rangers. He also runs away because the rest of the clan ,except for Sojiro, very strongly dislike Genji and even want him dead as they don't see him as one of their own because he was born to a human mother unlike Hanzo who would have been born to another mother who was a nighloks. he has a mostly human appearance he can keep up when he's not wearing his mask as to blend in with the other humans. One point of conflict could be that only kiriko and her mother (her mother would be the Sensei training the rangers and not apart of the shimada clan) know of genji's origins and try to help him keep his identity a secret from the world and the other rangers.

Sojiro would be still alive in this, as he's the big bad guy with Hanzo being at his side being his number two and successor.

Each of the rangers would have some sort of spiritual magic which is channeled through their weapon that each represents a different yokai, with genji's being a dragon and kiriko being the kitsune. Haven't decided on the others yet as this whole thing is a work in progress I literally just thought of.

Genji would probably be going under a fake name so that the clan wouldn't recognize if someone from the ranger were to say his name in battle, and in general just not get linked to the shimada clan. And the clan wouldn't realize it was him for a really long time because anytime they saw him he would be in full ranger gear (sentai skin) and also because ✨plot convenience ✨. He also ends up living with kirko and her mother as they unofficially adopted him into their family.

This whole thing would carry out very similar to a plot of a normal power rangers episode with each of the fights going as they normally would, just a little more angsty with the fact every so often genji's nighlok/Oni side would try and take over him leading to him either temporarily turning on the other rangers or lashing out in general before he's able to collect himself and gain control over himself again.

Additional details, the yokai spirits that are given to each ranger, when not in combat can beat summoned and act as companions or mentors to give them guidance or in general be there for them.

NOW HOW THE REST OF OVERWATCH IS INVOLVED!

Following a lead they were given about talon they end up going to Japan. And unfortunately encountering one of the nighlok attacks, attempting to fight them off but as they don't have the magical weapons it's not really doing much. This is when the rangers would come in and save the members of OverWatch, and together they stopped the bad guy and save the Day.

After the fight the rangers would then take the members of OverWatch back to their base so that they can be fixed up and recuperate and be filled in on what just happened.

All the while talon were in fact in Japan, and we're trying to create an alliance with the shimada clan which inevitably does not go well but talon is led on to believe that they do have this alliance until later down the line when the shimada clan would betray them as to try and gain more power.

While all this is happening Hanzo is growing increasingly and more increasingly uneasy with the actions of the shamatic clan. And is essentially just waiting for an opportunity for him to escape or find a way out in general.

And because I can, definitely gency stuff, with them going back and forth to save each other during combat, and outside of combat having some wholesome fluff moments and eventually and inevitably developing feelings. All the while Genji is feeling conflicted inside because he has not told Angela that he is in fact half nighlok/Oni so as much as he would love to get closer to her and pursue his feelings he is also very hesitant. Leading to quite a lot of miscommunication and potential angsty moments.

Also possibly side ships such as Pharah X kiriko, and eventually once Hanzo leaves the shimada clan and ends up with the rangers but not fully working with them just yet, some yeehan stuff.

This is a very jumbled and not very well thought out because I came up with this idea in like 30 minutes and because ADHD my brain is buzzing with the concept and as I have said multiple times before I am no writer XD

╰┈➤ I feel like Luffy is so simple enough to play the icon of Overwatch. Luffy was so baffled to see that she was able to teleport and immediately fell in love with the kit. Considering Tracer is also a flanking character, he'd be in the middle of the enemy team causing havoc. Will NOT touch support

Luffy: WOAH SHE CAN TELEPORT???? THATS SO COOL

RORONOA ZORO - Genji

╰┈➤ This is such an obvious choice, there's no need to explain. He rocks the Sentai skin on Genji or just his regular no-skin outfit just for the green. He's the only hero he has with gold weapons and the highest ranked. He insta-locks this man whenever he's playing.

Sanji: Do you play anyone else Mosshead???

Zoro: Just shut up and heal me if you want to win, cook

Other Choices: Doomfist as Tank

VINSMOKE SANJI - Cole Cassidy

╰┈➤ I feel like Sanji connects with Cassidy's charm and smoking habits so he plays him often. He knows Cassidy is the lover boy of the Overwatch community and everyone obsesses over him so he took that as an opportunity to main him. Sanji's second-best class is support but only really pays attention to Nami's health. Won't heal anyone else (especially Zoro) unless they're shouting at him.

Zoro: SWIRLY BROWS, CAN YOU HEAL ME? IM AT 20 IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT

Sanji: WELL MAYBE IF YOU STOPPED JUMPING SO MUCH ID HEAL YOU. LET ME HEAL MY SWEET NAMI FIRST

GOD USOPP - Widowmaker

╰┈➤ This choice is so obvious. Widow is a sniping character, and so is Usopp. He is a menace to Widow and doesn't even know it. He likes how Widow isn't meant to be on the actual battlefield but more on the sidelines picking off the enemy teams. He screams like a bitch when someone flanks behind him though.

Usopp: Okay, I killed their supports we should be good- *A Tracer comes up from behind* LUFFYYYYYYYY THERES SOMEONE ON MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Luffy: Oh sorry Im in spawn :p

NAMI - Kiriko

╰┈➤ Nami definitely loves Kiriko for her more angsty personality that no one likes. She'd rather help in the backlines than deal with fighting up front, but she puts the kunais to WORK. Sanji is always on her tail and targets anyone who tries to or manages to kill her.

Nami: Dang it, I died. Try to hold out a little longer guys-

Sanji: WHO DID IT NAMI????? ILL KILL THEM FOR YOU MY SWEET

TONY TONY CHOPPER - Mercy

╰┈➤ Chopper will mainly play any support but Mercy is his top choice. He tries to revive anyone he can even in the tightest of situations. He is the best healer you can get, but he can also be a great tank. But our lil baby gets stressed...

Zoro: Chopper, can you damage boost me?

Chopper: YEAH IN A SEC-

╰┈➤ There is no possible way Nico doesn't play Moira. I feel like she's more DPS Moira than anything but still upholds good support for her team.

FRANKY - Reinhardt

╰┈➤ Franky is 100% the crew's Tank main. He knows every tank playstyle from top to the very bottom but his favorite is of course the loudest one there. Franky is the most reliable tank you can get. He insta-locks Rein and adores him to the very end.

Sanji: I think you should switch, Franky they have a few counters-

Franky: Ill still kick their asses, I dont care Im playing Reinhardt

SOUL KING BROOK - Junkrat

╰┈➤ Brook finds ruining people's day by playing the most annoying character on the roster the funniest thing ever. He laughs when Junkrat laughs manically. It's such a fitting choice for his personality

PORTGAS D. ACE - Solider: 76

╰┈➤ He is such a straightforward person enough to play Solider but be dope good at it. Ace would be the type of person to get ahead of themselves and over-extend though.

👁️👄👁️ Sentai AU where either:

Genji is a secret superhero, Sentai, who fights crime to protect his older brother and keep Hanamura safe for him.

Hanzo is also a superhero, Cyberninja, who fights alongside Genji. Both are later drafted by a secret organization.

For the first one, it's the classic trope where Hanzo is Genji's weakness so baddies who know this or figure it out will attempt to kidnap or hurt Hanzo to get to him. Hanzo doesn't know Genji is Sentai so he's very perplexed as to why he's is so overprotective of him. It all comes together when Hanzo's captured and Genji is forced to reveal himself or his helmet becomes damaged, so he has to remove it. Hanzo's had a sneaking suspicion about his dual life, gathering various clues that linked Genji with Sentai, but this just confirmed the truth. As for the second, Hanzo had just reunited with Genji, who is a cyborg now, and later discovers he's a also superhero who had been rescued by the secret organization, Overwatch, after their fatal fight. Genji suggests Hanzo become a superhero, as well, to help redeem himself.

Hanzo is reluctant, at first, feeling as if he isn't hero material. However, Genji encourages him and soon Hanzo dons his Cyberninja persona, and the two work in beautiful harmony to take down crime in the city they decided to start anew together in. Later, Overwatch drafts them both, seeing how well they work as a team with near perfect success. Genji is excited to work with them, again, but Hanzo is apprehensive, especially when Ow discovers who he really is, and is met with cold disapproval. Genji refuses to join without Hanzo, though, and tells Ow as much. He demands they accept them both or they're going back to do what they're best at: fighting as a duo. Ow reluctantly accepts Hanzo, but keeps him under sharp surveillance. Genji is P.O'd when he finds out. Hanzo believes he deserves the treatment, but Genji's having none of that. He threatens to leave with him if Hanzo isn't treated with the same respect and goes on a tirade about how much Hanzo is trying to atone for his past, how much hope he has for him, and that he forgave him. Ow has literally no choice but to start treating Hanzo as a trustworthy member lest they want to lose two of the best superheroes they have in their arsenal. Soon, a few of the others realize that Hanzo is actually pretty cool and nice and make it an effort to hang out with him. Hanzo feels happier and more loved since his reunion with Genji. His little brother can't be more proud of him for giving the superhero life a chance & making new friends. Hanzo even developed a little crush on the local gunslinging vigilante, who may or may not like him back! 👀 You bet Genji mercilessly teases Hanzo about that, but he then goes straight into wingman mode! Anything to make sure his Anija remains happy and loved as he rightfully deserves. 🥺

Returning after almost 2 years of hiatus, i bring you... the latest update to The Sentai and the Cultist :3

Pairing: Genji/Zenyatta (some minor ships only vaguely mentioned which are Lucio/Hana, Fareeha/Angela, Reinhardt/Ana and Reinhardt/Mondatta, with a starting dash of a Hanzo/McCree)

Previously on: The Sentai and the Cultist=

As Moira leaves the headquarters of the sentai rangers to return home, flanked by her two subordinates, Zenyatta is hacked by Sombra and abducted right outside the headquarters.During the 'transfer' to places unknown, Zenyatta awakens and loses control of his Discord, forcing Reaper to feel the brunt of it and Sombra to come and sap his energy, causing Zenyatta's battery to fail.

Disraught by his disappearance, Mondatta goes undercover thanks to Reinhardt's help and takes up the mantle of hero 'Pyrite', and joins the sentai as they seek help to find Zenyatta. An old friend of Winston offers them a connection to the omnic hacker Lynx Seventeen, who manages to find a trail that leads Genji, Angela, Hanzo, Jesse, Ana and Pyrite to Numbani, where thanks to Lucio's contact Efi and Orisa, manage to sneak into a laboratory to find, if not Zenyatta, at least a hint of where he could be...

Meanwhile -Zenyatta makes a disquieting discovery about the doctor who is in charge of the laboratory he's been brought to, finding himself facing, of all people, Moira...
