You almost tried to resist. In any case, you had everything you wanted, except for a couple of spiritually necessary things for a person.

But over time, his vigilance, to his surprise, weakened, he did not feel the comfort with you that he feels at a meeting of equally successful friends. It was something warm, something unfamiliar. Your touches and caresses were not something repugnant to him. On the contrary, he...liked it?

Things got even more confusing after he came to your house, sweaty and sticky from stress. He was talking nonsense, you didn't understand him. He was talking this crazy nonsense, and his situation looked so desperate. Sweat and tears were rolling down his face, and his speech had long ceased to resemble anything adequate.

A smile touched your lips, Patrick was so alive right now. You didn't say much. And there was nothing to say, you didn't understand what was going on.

You almost hug him slowly, stroking his back and head. A carrecatural scene of silence ensued. He didn't leave your side this evening without explaining anything. Maybe everything will clear up later, but for now you just could finally feel the person who was considered your boyfriend. And he could finally feel you.

Through the mirror, his eyes looked darker. His skin was lighter almost as if he was drained of life.

“I didn’t feel any pain.”

“You said you were hungry so I brought you food,” you didn’t quite know what to say. Roman was making you feel uncomfortable with how detached he seemed to be right now.

“I do feel hungry. It’s like an insatiable thirst that can’t be quenched.”

You narrowed your brows not understanding what he was saying.

“There’s water in the kitchen...and juice. I can bring you anything you’d like.” You rubbed your hands together feeling nervous. Roman straightened his posture and looked at you sharply in the mirror.

“I can hear your heart racing. It’s only making your blood flow more soundly,” he closed his eyes and hummed in appreciation. What he was saying wasn’t making sense but you knew he wasn’t well.

He needed to be seen and you doubt he’d want it to be from a doctor. Roman opened his eyes and they fluttered a few times before his eyes grew wide in alert. His pupils were dilated then his breathing became harsh.

“You need to leave.”

“I’m not going to leave you like this.” You took a step forward but stopped when he looked at you sharply. His eyes were almost completely black now.

“You need to go before I do something bad. There’s only so much control I have over myself right now.”

You huffed out a humorless laugh thinking perhaps this was all some sort of joke he’d been playing with you. It was a sick joke that you so wanted to believe. You walked straight to him and rubbed his arms trying to soothe him but he held you firmly away looking at you intensely.

i adore the tone of this ask i'm obsessed and you inspired me so i wrote 2 drabbles the first is not serious at all and also kinda gory and the second is genuine nsfw so ... enjoy.

Tonight is the night. It has to be.

You've been dating Patrick Bateman for three years now, you moved in with him last year but there still isn't a ring on your finger: tonight, he's taking you to Dorsia.
