Dass es wirklich funktioniert, jemandem gesittet auf die Fresse zu hauen?”  Skinnys eine Augenbraue wandert nach oben und da ist dieses Funkeln in seinen blassen Augen. Und da liegt so viel mehr in diesem Blick.  Cotta meint, ein gespieltes Misstrauen zu erkennen, das Skinny -vielleicht sogar unwillkürlich- aufgelegt hat, um sich vor einer etwaigen Enttäuschung zu wappnen.  Da ist auch diese implizierte Frage, die er nicht gestellt hat, aber Cotta hat sie trotzdem herausgehört: Denkst du, dass es bei mir funktioniert? Aber da ist auch dieser beißende Unterton der Provokation in seiner Stimme, die die Neugier, vielleicht schon Begierde, in Skinny widerspiegelt, mit der er dann doch um jeden Preis herausfinden will, ob Cotta es kann. Ihm gesittet auf die Fresse zu hauen. Oder ihn außerdem ein bisschen hinzuhalten, ihn betteln zu lassen und so zu verwöhnen, wie es noch nie jemand mit ihm getan hat, wie Cotta sich schmunzelnd erlaubt, in seinen Gedanken hinzuzufügen.

Justus dressing slutty for Skinny

Als Justus ankam, stand Skinny am Fenster und rauchte. Blondierte Strähnen hingen ihm ins Gesicht. Sofort wollte Justus sie ihm aus der Stirn streichen, die grauen Pfützen darunter betrachten. Aber da blickte Skinny auch schon auf, fuhr sich mit einer beiläufigen Bewegung in die Haare und brachte die Strähnen zurück an ihren Platz. Fast hätte Justus einen Schmollmund gemacht. "Na, sieh mal einer an..." Skinny drückte die selbstgedrehte Kippe in dem Aschenbecher auf dem Fensterbrett aus.  "Da hat wohl jemand wieder Sehnsucht nach mir gehabt, hm?" Augenscheinlich amüsiert von dieser Tatsache, hob er eine Augenbraue und kam in gemächlichen Schritten auf Justus zu. Er beäugte ihn lächelnd und Justus wurde ganz warm davon. "Hübsch siehst du aus.", kommentierte er und Justus wurde noch wärmer. In dem Outfit, in dem er hier gerade vor Skinny stand, würde er sich normalerweise nicht mal vors Haus trauen. Er steckte nämlich in einem viel zu  kurzen Röckchen, das Skinny ihm besorgt hatte und obenrum trug er nichts als ein fadenscheiniges kurzes, weißes Top. Aber netterweise hatte ihn Peter in seinem MG gefahren, der wie Bob über sie beide Bescheid wusste, seit das zwischen ihm und Skinny wohl sowas wie eine Beziehung war. 

needy desperate Just x Cotta

dazu gibt es bisher nur die grobe Idee, dass Justus eines schönen Nachmittags in Cottas Büro kommt und augenblicklich vergisst, was er dort überhaupt wollte, als er den Inspector sieht. Cotta steht nämlich nicht in einem seiner normalen Arbeitsanzüge, sondern einem richtig schicken, eleganten am Fenster (hab da die Vorstellung, dass er gerade von einem Begräbnis kommt). aber seine grau melierten Harre sehen ein wenig wirr aus. und dann ist da noch die Brille in seiner großen, starken Hand, die er immer dann abnimmt, um nachzudenken. Cotta steht also gerade ein bisschen unter Strom und Justus ist schon seit einer Weile ein bisschen desperate für ihn und dann kommt eines zum anderen...

RESUMO: dionne teve que lutar muito para chegar no topo. quando criança, descobriu a sua paixão por atuar através do teatro na escola, mas quase desistiu depois de dezenas de testes recusados e “nãos” recebidos. foi só quando a atriz da alice sofreu um acidente que dionne foi chamada pela disney para interpretar a versão jovem da personagem icônica o que, consequentemente, garantiu à ela um empurrãozinho para que também acabasse sendo escalada como annabell chase em peter johnson. apesar da franquia ter sido de grande sucesso e a blanchar passar a ser reconhecida pelo seu talento na atuação, ganhando alguns prêmios e aclamação dos fãs, dionne ainda não era chamada para muitos papéis — e não foi até o final de peter johnson que a sua carreira deu um giro de trezentos e sessenta graus. dionne recebeu a proposta de fazer uma audição para uma personagem misteriosa de um filme misterioso. ela não sabia que estava sendo cotada para interpretar a MJ, o interesse romântico do novo homem-aranha da marvel. depois disso, as propostas não paravam de vir, e dionne pôde escolher o seu próximo papel, optando por dar vida à zara jones em hearttack paralelamente ao seu trabalho com a marvel. a fachada de dionne é ser a cool girl misteriosa, mais fechada, na dela, o tipo de pessoa que não deixa nada abalá-la. recentemente, porém, alguns rumores vêm tentando tirá-la do topo. ao que tudo indica, dionne está traindo o seu namorado com o seu co-star de homem-aranha... e, bom, os fãs da franquia alimentam isso, shippando os dois!

"Lorre appeared as a trigger-happy thug in UFA’s Schuss im Morgengrauen (A Shot at Dawn, 1932), based on The Woman and the Emerald by Harry Jenkins, a bullet-ridden crime drama centered around a jewel heist. Convinced he could do nothing with the 'underwritten' role, the actor suggested making his character a frustrated sex maniac.

"'He played it like that,' remembered Rudolf Katscher, who coauthored the screenplay. 'He followed every young female character from behind, with his hand and fingers outstretched to pinch her bottom. So when he started that gag, the audience knew what was coming and roared with laughter. In fact, he never got to "grips" with any unsuspecting bottom!'

I know this film is out there. I know Lorre really only had a small part in it. I want it anyway and its continual elusiveness is irksome. I think I see mentions of it on sites all in Spanish or Swedish or German, an actual film to view versus just a description or a photo, O wondrous moment! --but then, alas, I get a malware alert if I were to proceed.

Buster Keaton (The General, The Navigator, Sherlock Jr.)—For me Buster’s hotness comes not just from his physical beauty but in the constant surprise and contradictions of the man, he’s simultaneously delicate/rough, feminine/masculine, confident/vulnerable, 5foot5 pretty face with an unexpectedly deep voice, at first glance you think oh he’s a cute little thing and then he takes his top off and it’s Superman abs underneath. He was intensely shy in social situations but had no hesitation in jumping off the top of a building. He famously never smiled on screen* but he exudes warmth and joy and laughter. He created some of the most beautiful, intelligent movies ever made but refused to acknowledge his own genius and talent as an artist, instead maintaining that all he wanted to do was make people laugh. If he was here in reality competing in this poll he would give it 100% but he would not be at all bothered if he didn’t win. And that’s why he’s the hottest vintage man. A vote for Buster is a vote for all that is good and decent in the world 💕 (*he did smile on camera occasionally despite his own assertions to the contrary 😄)

Amalgam Bugatti 57SC Atlantic (1938) "The Lord Rotschild" Amalgam Bugatti 57SC Atlantic (1938) "The Lord Rotschild" im Großmaßmaßstab 1:8. Fahrgestellnummer 57374 Der Type 57SC Atlantic, eines der kultigsten Bugatti-Autos aus der ursprünglichen Bugatti-Ära, zeichnete sich durch fließende Coupé-Linien und eine ausgeprägte Rückennaht aus, die vom vorderen bis zum hinteren Ende des Fahrzeugs verläuft. Das Aérolithe-Konzept von 1935, auf dem der 57SC basierte, verwendete Elektron-Verbundwerkstoff für seine Karosserieteile. Dies bedeutete, dass die Ingenieure die Platten außen miteinander vernieten mussten, da die Legierung zwar ein langlebiges und leichtes Material, aber bei hohen Temperaturen extrem entflammbar war. Die Produktionsserie der 57SC Atlantics verfügte über eine schlichte Aluminiumkarosserie, die Rückennähte wurden jedoch aus Stilgründen beibehalten. Der Name Atlantic wurde zu Ehren von Jean Bugattis Pilotenfreund Jean Mermoz benannt, der nie von einer Flugreise in den Südatlantik zurückkehrte. Das „S“ stand für „Surbaissé“ („Abgesenkt“), was an sich schon ein großes Unterfangen war, und das „C“ für „Compresseur“, einen Kompressor, den Bugatti als Reaktion auf die Nachfrage der Kunden nach mehr PS einführte. Unter der ikonischen langen Motorhaube verbarg sich ein 3,3-Liter-Reihenachtzylinder mit 197 PS, der dem Coupé eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von über 125 Meilen pro Stunde ermöglichte. Es wurden nur vier Exemplare des Typs 57SC hergestellt, von denen drei an Kunden verkauft wurden. Das erste Auto wurde an den britischen Bankier Victor Rothschild verkauft, ein zweites an den Pariser Geschäftsmann Jacques Holzschuh und ein drittes Auto an R.B. Pope of Britain. Das verbleibende Auto wurde von Jean Bugatti selbst benutzt, es gibt jedoch keine Aufzeichnungen über das Auto nach 1938. Sein Verbleib bleibt ein Rätsel. Tragischerweise war Holzschuhs Atlantic in einen tödlichen Unfall verwickelt, bei dem das Auto völlig zerstört wurde. Jahrzehnte später wurde das Auto einer sorgfältigen Restaurierung unterzogen, der Motor war jedoch nicht mehr zu retten. Diese perfekte Nachbildung des Bugatti 57SC Atlantic im Maßstab 1:8 ist dem Chassis 57374 nachempfunden, wie es ursprünglich 1936 an Victor Rothschild, 3. Baron Rothschild, geliefert wurde. Die in Grau-Metallic-Blau lackierte Nr. 57374 wurde ohne das „C“ gebaut. Spezifikation und es wird angenommen, dass es mit verschiedenen Komponenten des Aérolithe-Prototyps ausgestattet worden war, bevor das Auto nach Molsheim zurückgebracht wurde, um die „C“-Spezifikation einzubauen, was Lord Rothschilds Wunsch war. Dieser Arzt brachte den 57SC in die USA und verkaufte ihn an den Bugatti-Enthusiasten Mike Oliver, der ihn unter anderem umlackierte, um den Atlantic an die US-Vorschriften anzupassen Dunkelrot. Das Auto kehrte 1953 nach Molshiem zurück, um den Kompressor nachrüsten zu lassen. Das Auto wechselte 1971 für insgesamt 59.000 US-Dollar an den Sammler Peter Williamson, der das Auto die nächsten 32 Jahre lang aktiv nutzte. Er brachte es in seinen ursprünglichen Zustand zurück und stellte es 2003 beim Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance aus, wo es den „Best of Show“-Award gewann. Nr. 57374 blieb bis 2010 im Besitz der Familie Williamson, als es für nicht weniger als 30 Millionen US-Dollar an den Sammler Peter Mullin verkauft wurde, der es jetzt in seiner Sammlung französischer Meisterwerke im Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, Kalifornien, ausstellt.
