I got around to making my ‘Bad Egg’ a little friend to play with the other night. 

I wanted to make his/her/they’re appearance as similar as possible to the other one instead of labouring over the inside of the mouth like I said I might in the last post, so I decided to just do a closed jaw version. 

Basically I just copied the outline of the teeth as closely as possible, however I wasn’t really happy just stopping there. It felt like a cop out and would just result in a less interesting version of the original. Because of this I decided to dig through the back of the jaw and expose a hole behind the eggs molars. I’m delighted I put in the extra effort because now the eggs are not only almost identical, but they are about the same weight. 

Twins!

I made a mould of my hand from alginate and filled it with plaster. Some air pockets in the alginate and lumps in the plaster gave the fingers a bit of a decaying look and I think it would be cool to bury it in the ground as if nature has reclaimed it .
