I am diving in and learning more about my Scottish roots and have fallen in love all over again with the different folktales, particularly the selkie stories. It inspired me to doodle some little seals/selkies. Conveniently we also get to see lots of seals here near the coast in the PNW for a bit of reference.
It would be so freeing to be able to fly/glide through the water like they do. They go from being weird awkward little creatures, to graceful sea puppies! I guess I haven't found the place I go from being a weird little creature, to a graceful being, but I am sure it is out there, so the search continues. Until then, maybe I can dream I'm a selkie. :)

I'm so looking forward to this spring and summer! I'll be scheduling outdoor shoot tours (as usual my tour fee is included in my model fee) as early as May 1! Now is the time to start thinking about all the awesome shots we're going to take in the beautiful locations I have to offer. Trust me: it's worth the trip 😉 🏞️🐚🌲🐿️🥾📸 . @mac_photo_nw . #greenbikini #redhair #riverside #oregonphototours #joeydarke #coastalphotography #locationshoots #pnwlove #pnwmodel #pnwphotography (at Oregon) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp0g0gcv_6l/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Snow Cabin, I did this over the orchids. I wasn’t happy with them so they became a cabin.
