About Tifa's 'Censorship' in Final Fantasy VII Remake & Rebirth...

So, recently, I found out that in Final Fantasy VII Remake & Rebirth, Square 'censored' Tifa by putting a black shirt under her crop top.

And lots of FFVII fans are mad about it. Here are some of those comments...

The Nibelheim Incident, the part where they 'censored' her, took place 5 years before the start of VII. At the start of VII, according to the Remake Material Ultimania, she is 20 years old. This means that, during the Nibelheim Incident/The Tragedy of Five Years Ago, Tifa's age is: 20 - 5 = 15 years old. 15 ≠ 18. This is also mentioned in her character profile from the Crisis Core Ultimania. Nobody wants her to be a teenager in that scene. She IS a teen. It's in the math. And it's in the canon timeline.

Your 'fan service waifu' was 15 years old at that point in the game. A high schooler. A CHILD. A MINOR.

While she is a fictional character, the fact that all of you are so DESPERATE to see a 15-year-old's cleavage and are boycotting the game over a black undershirt is really telling of how y'all are in real life.

They're not censoring adult Tifa. They didn't put her in a beekeeping suit at Costa Del Sol in Rebirth, did they? No, they put her in a bikini. Simp over adult Tifa. Not teenage Tifa.

Just came across one video on tiktok...the person posts video of her daughter trying some different foods for the first time. And comments there are disturbing. But what is more disturbing than that is the number of people who saved that video.

I remember one research that said that pedophiles who don't have access to childp*rn usually use videos of minors that their parents posted online.

Hello again~! (TW for religious elements and inappropriate behaviors by content creators)

I’m doing better since my last rant. I’ll prob be deleting it, mostly because I write for fun not views. I mainly just want this blog to be a place where I share my writing and interests with others.

Why have I been quiet? My current interest is not PG, and I want the “mereeples” stuff to remain PG. Why? I apparently wrote stuff younger fandom fans like and I want to promote a safe atmosphere for them. I’m not trying to say that I’ll be all little kid friendly here, I’m still gonna slip “fuck” into something by accident or because it’s a good adjective to the sentence.

But ever since 2024 started, a lot of the content creators I used to follow as a teen ended up being predators (not saying all of them, but it’s a little unnerving how many). And with everything that just came out with Nickelodeon, I guess I’m just upset and concerned.

I don’t mention this much, mostly because I don’t want to upset anyone with religious trauma. I follow the Christian faith, have all my life. One of the aspects that I’ve recently started focusing on the most is from this one verse:

“Anyone who causes these little ones to stumble, it would be better to have a millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” - Matt 18:6 (NIV)

I interpret it as this: I don’t want to be someone who introduces things to younger generations that they don’t need to know right now. I’m not saying to shelter them, I’m just saying to remember the boundaries between adult and minor.

Also remember to ask ages! You don’t even have to be specific, just say if you’re over 18 or not. I was an idiot when I first started posting on the internet. I just assumed other people I was talking to were older than I thought. It’s why I have the little blip in my pinned page about being uncomfy with minors now. That, and I also believe someone lied about their age to me once… just don’t do that either. Luckily I got advice from someone in a server I’m in about how to avoid something that could lead to trouble. I don’t really talk about inappropriate things that much to begin with, but it’s better to be safe than sorry, Y’know?

That’s going to be my spiel/vent for the day. Prob won’t mention biblical stuff again, only because I don’t want to offend anyone. Bad apples ruined the bunch, if you know what I mean.

1.) Anime NYC is meant to be an ALL AGE convention. Meaning minors will be present in and for her to wear basically nothing and doing these acts in front of minors and people that didn’t consent to seeing that is disgusting 💀 Anime NYC even have this rule listed on their website!

2.) In order to sell products/ services in the convention, you have to be a official vendor ( some conventions will make you sign paper work, call you, etc) but she came in with a cardboard sign and was taking business away from other vendors who sometimes make their living off of conventions.

3.) There’s a reason why conventions have a +18 after party, panels, etc. So that minors are not expose to this type of mess. If can’t wait for the +18 after party, panel, after hours, etc. You don’t need to go period. I really do hope they ban her from going to other conventions because it’s lack of respect for others, health concerns ( guy sucking her toes and her spitting in a guys mouth💀), and indecent exposure to minors‼️

If you or your friends went to Anime NYC. The best options would be to report her to Anime NYC. Block her from social media, and if you see her in public, don’t interact with her. I’m simply sharing this post to spread awareness and hopefully encourage to prevent future stunts such as this at other conventions. And to all my peeps who do art business, cosplay, etc. DONT 👏 FALL👏 FOR 👏 NEGATIVE👏 CLOUT👏 it may seem easy to get clout when you do something just for attention but it’s gonna damage you in the long run.

see the thing about Astarion to me is I don't actually think he has a clue who he actually is beneath all of the everything he's got going on. he's got impulses, he's got drive, a will to live, he's got desires and amusements and cravings, but an actual selfhood?? no. there's a blue error screen where the person of him should be, the person -- whoever that was, I'm personally of the mind he likely wasn't good then either, but we'll see where the story takes us -- before Cazador. the man in front of us today is this mishmash of interior delight at freedom and sunlight but also capable of true unapologetic cruelty and willingness to be ugly in a multitude of ways. so he follows the impulse. he follows what intrigues and amuses, and nothing will take that freedom from him again. and he reflects back onto others the violence that was done unto him. a lack of power kept him down? now he wants to accumulate power, so it can never be turned on him again. but he also misses the sun while he's underground. he's mean and desperate and ruthless and it's interesting because he's unapologetic about it, he's unflinching about it. he's vindictive and mean and desperately floundering around throwing stuff at a wall to see what sticks in terms of personhood because who is he now. 200 years of horrific servitude and now he's just out and about and he's in the mud.

and he can be horrible. and yet when you take the routes of prying open the faaairly shallow veneer he has of smug and snark and snappiness, he'll give you pieces of the raw and the desperate -- "I want to know what the world sees when it looks at me. what you see." is a line you only get if you're earnest with him. any other path in the dialogue will have him continue the shallow persona you've come to know. and in all of that I think nothing is "this is real, this is an act," set in stone because I just don't think he even knows, I don't think he has a CLUE what's his and what's the protective measures and what's the real delight and what's the cruel mockery of his surroundings and what he's willing to give vs what he needs to hide vs what he lets slip out on accident. the inconsistencies in his own ideas and what he says and what he does. I think most everything about him is in a weird place of deeply uncertain. is it a lie? is it a glimmer of truth? for me, I like to interpret him in this weird menagerie of half-truths and shallow lies and omissions, because we've only known him a short while and maybe also he doesn't even know the answer yet. who is he? fuck if HE knows. anyways. smash.

Little things about Marcille make me so so so sick. Reading a book with the first character that's anything like you at all in even a somewhat respectable way and falling in love. She doesn't know anything about the food her mother grew up eating. She is subtly different from her peers and has never been sure where she fits in.
