What a cute lil picrew! I made a stuffed doll gal, I imagine she's very sweet and loves to bring joy to the kids who play with her. She's probably been owned by multiple different kids over the years, and she's seen some wear and tear, but she still takes pride in being a good doll, and she doesn't blame the children for accidentally damaging her. I had a ton of fun making her!

Just started created a new character for a Star Wars 5e campaign that my friend is running, so everyone please say hello to Mhorra Hurrina, a level 1 Mon Calamari scholar and grad student who ran afoul of the Hutts while on a research trip for her thesis advisor.

Her backstory:

Mhorra comes from a large but poor family in the artic regions of Mon Cala; a backwater mining town next to a volcanic vent with very little to offer except jobs mining the minerals used in building Mon Cala's fleet of spaceships. Mhorra was the last-born and smallest of her parents' (Ritiff and Aikvant Hurrina) eight children, and was not expected to survive to adulthood (child mortality in Mon Calamari being quite high). However, she did survive to adulthood, mostly due to her wits and her facility with learning. She earned a full-ride scholarship to study at the University of Coruscant from the royal family of Mon Calamari in an essay contest, and thereby found her way out of the small mining town where she grew up.

Life in Coruscant was very different from what Mhorra was used to, but she adapted with remarkable speed. Small and non-threatening, but also lively and witty, she collected a group of friends, and found that this was a place where she could more than survive based on her wits; here she could thrive. She was fascinated by the politics of the empire, and by the many different movements to make the world a better place that seemed to be going on at once in Coruscant. When she graduated with a dual degree in xenoanthropology and philosophy, she immediately applied for a doctoral program at Coruscant University, with Ber'a Len, a reknowned scholar on practices slavery throughout the galaxy and the ethics thereof, as her advisor. Len sent Mhorra to Tatooine to study the Jawa, specifically to study their practice of "scavenging" sentient droids to round out the literature on slavery and droids.

Unfortunately the Hutts took an interest in Mhorra as soon as she arrived on planet. They knew that she was Len's student, assumed that she was on Tatooine to study their practices of slavery (slander!), and didn't take kindly to the idea. They do not believe that she was on Tatooine to study Jawas, because who would study Jawas when they could study Hutts.
