Jennifer’s husband was deployed shortly after they bought this house. She spent her time alone thrifting and decorating the interior (she didn’t paint the exterior until he was home, when she couldn’t decide on a color and he jokingly suggested rainbow). I wonder if she knows that it’s also on a shaming site. I was surprised, b/c I don’t feel that it deserves shame.
Tumblr media
Now, they do updates as they can afford them, but I think that Jennifer did a great job on her own. I mean, it’s just an ordinary raised ranch and she really gave it pizazz.
Tumblr media
Colorful entrance. I love it.

I don’t think that the yellow is quite right for that shade of pink, but it may be the way it’s photographed.

The rainbow living room is delightful.
Tumblr media
This house just glows.

Love the touches of neon.

Love the paint on the dining room table.

Making the most of a plain, builder’s grade bath.

Love the corner fireplace she placed in the main bd.
Tumblr media
There’s so much love put into this home.

What a great home office and art space.

This shows how you can buy an ordinary raised ranch and make into something special.

From a distance, this may look like an ordinary stone façade on a raised ranch home. But, upon closer look, you can see the details of the stone work, such as butterflies, birds, flowers & hearts. The 4bd. 1ba. home in Larksville, Pennsylvania already sold for $222,900.
Tumblr media
Let’s first go down to the ground level family room.
Tumblr media
The decorative stone continues inside with curving pony walls, arched bricks and pillars. The interior walls also have stone designs.
Tumblr media
The family room fireplace feature wall in the family room.
Tumblr media
The rest of the home is disappointingly plain. The living room is the same mundane style you’d see in any raised ranch.
Tumblr media
The kitchen is terribly dated and depressing.
Tumblr media
The bedrooms are boring.
Tumblr media
And, so is this dated bath.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
However, this shower room on the ground floor also has the stonework pizazz.
Tumblr media
There’s also a large area with 2 different style stone walls.
Tumblr media
Look at this- they got a small shelving unit to fit under that arch to make a desk. Note the stone art in the wall.
Tumblr media
The ceilings down here are done in a copper-y color that gives off a warm vibe to complement the stone.
Tumblr media
In the back is the typical deck off the kitchen.
Tumblr media
The yard is standard, but what strikes me as a little odd is the shed. I’ve never seen one facing backward.
