This year was perhaps the most unusual for Severus. It wasn’t nearly as intolerable this year with the students and one professor in particular, Professor Y/N, had made her way into being one of his closest friends. After two years of a friendship, Y/N surged to the top of the list of close friends and Severus didn’t even realize it until he realized he was making time to visit with her and accepting weekend hang outs and meet ups with her. Severus would be lying if he said he hadn’t developed some form of feelings for Y/N a few weeks after he realized how close they had gotten. During the time of their friendship, Y/N had been there for him the most and didn’t hesitate to admit her own struggles, sympathizing with his struggles to an extent. Severus was surprised at first; this professor, who’s only worked at Hogwarts for the last three years, managed to make her way into his heart and get him to open up about things in his life he never thought he’d share with anyone else. Now he had a new type of problem; he’s developed romantic feelings for her and is now sick of denying it.
Professor Y/N rapt their knuckles on Severus’s office door, waiting until they heard a muffled “enter” to step inside. “Hello Sev! Got some paperwork for you, sadly.” Severus sighed heavily and leaned back in his chair. “What kind this time?” Y/N flipped through the stack and groaned. “Midterm exam paperwork for the Ministry. Merlin, I really don’t want to do this shit…” Severus huffed out a laugh, nodding along. “I second your sentiments. Why’s the Ministry assigning so much paperwork? A lot of this could easily be condensed into two to four pages. They must be some kind of sadists, I swear.” Y/N broke into laughter, doubling over and gripping the edge of Severus’s desk. “H-How do you manage to do that?” Severus smirked a bit but tilted his head a bit.
“How do I do what?” Y/N caught her breath for a moment before continuing. “How do you manage to say something funny while looking absolutely disgusted at the same time? You are so effortlessly funny, I envy you.” Severus laughed a bit is disbelief. “Me? Funny? You’re the one telling jokes here.” Y/N shook her head and grinned. “I’m serious! But anyways, since midterms aren’t up yet, how about we get a drink at the pub? It’s been a while since we had a chance to get a bite to eat together.” Severus was a bit taken aback but nodded along. “I suppose I could use a break from all the papers. Let’s say for around six or seven tonight?” Y/N nodded with a smile. “Sounds like a plan! I’ll catch you tonight, for now I gotta get back to my own office… Got a student coming for detention. See you later, Sev!” And with that, Y/N left Severus sat at his desk in a slight daze.
One part of him is convinced he should just get it over with and confess his feelings, but another part has him convinced she would never feel the same, so why waste his breath? Either way, he’s already agreed to it. With his fate for that night sealed, Severus continued to work on papers in between classes and retiring early to his room to get ready to meet up with Y/N. Several outfits later, Severus settled on a nice pair of black slacks with a white button up. Debating on whether to bring a jacket or anything, Severus decided to throw on a black sweater and knocked at Y/N’s chamber door. A few seconds later, Y/N opened the door with a grin. “Sev! Right on time. Ready to go?”
Severus nodded and extended his arm to them, to which she looped her arm with his, and made their way towards to pub. “Well, it’s the weekend and Minerva is on duty tonight, so we could probably get a few drinks while we’re out.” Severus hummed, nodding along. “Why not? It’s…what, Saturday?” Y/N made an affirmative hum and whispered a happy little “thank you” when Severus held the door open for her. Finding a fairly private booth, they both slip in and catch up for a while. “…and then, as per usual for these dunderheads, Longbottom managed to melt his godforsaken desk again. I swear, I turn around for a moment and all hell breaks loose. I’m tempted to put bloody monitoring charms in place if they keep it up.” With a small laugh, Y/N patted his hand gently. “Well, if it does come to that, at least it’ll be easier to catch the little snots being reckless. Plus, if it happens again, I’ll bring you a bottle of fire whiskey for you! We can drink and try to forget anything from the week.” Severus sent Y/N a half-hearted frown, lightly scolding her. “Drinking isn’t the answer to everything, you know? Though…I will admit, it would be nice to have a drink mow and then when we aren’t too swamped with impertinent children.”
A few stories later, the food and drinks arrived and they ate in relative silence, occasionally pausing when a good story or interesting topic came to mind. By the time dinner was finished, they were both maybe two or three drinks in and the conversation went from light-hearted to a more flirty undertone. “Y’know Sev, I still don’t get why you’re single.” Severus rolled his eyes a bit, the alcohol warming his cheeks a bit. Just the alcohol, of course. Nothing else. “Well, I suppose not many enjoy my company quite like you. You may be one of the few who can stand to willingly hang around me. Though, I could say the same for you. I don’t get why you’re single either.” Y/N blushed and shook her head. “Oh please, I’m sure not many care for my presence really. Or it could be I have a very specific type?”
Severus hummed and rested his cheek against his hand that was propped on the table. “Type? Please, do tell.” Y/N rolled her eyes and grinned a bit. “Oh, fine I’ll tell you. Just don’t laugh, please?” Taking a deep breath, Y/N continued. “Well, I suppose I do enjoy a bit of a taller man. I have this pattern of liking and dating men with longer hair, darker features too. Dark eyes, dark hair, oftentimes dark clothing as well.” Severus wasn’t daft to not pick up how much the descriptions related to him, but he played innocent until he could truthfully say that there was a chance for him. “Oh? Sounds like someone I know…Please, do continue.” Y/N was definitely much redder in the face from either embarrassment or slowly revealing her true type, he didn’t know. “W-Well…who I’m thinking of does have a particular interest in the dark arts and potions…” Severus felt that was enough of a clue and leaned forward a bit to get her attention. “Y/N…I have a feeling you may be referring to me, yes?” Y/N nodded, not fully trusting her voice. “Well, then. I’d say you’re in luck. I…I happen to have fairly strong feelings for you. Romantic feelings, that is. How about tomorrow we meet up in my chambers to talk more about this, if you’re willing?”
The next day, Severus still couldn’t believe he had been able to just…confess as he did. By the time he was up in the morning, he started pacing his room and thinking over every little detail from the night before. What if Y/N comes by to say she changed her mind? What if she realized that Severus isn’t good enough for her? With his mind swimming with questions, he was just present enough to hear a knock at his door and he froze momentarily. Gathering whatever courage he had left, he opened the door and invited Y/N in. “I’m glad you made it. Please, get comfortable. I’ll bring us some tea and potentially hangover potions?” With a sheepish nod from Y/N, Severus retrieved the potions and conjured the tea to the area where they both were sitting. Luckily, Y/N was the first to speak up. “So…did you really mean it? That you had feelings for me?” Severus hesitated for a moment, but still nodded silently, looking at his lap.
“I do, yes. I understand if you don’t-” Severus was cut off by Y/N carefully putting her hands on his cheeks and gently making him look at her. “If I don’t what? Cause if you’re about to say ‘if I don’t feel the same’ you are sorely mistaken. I’m positive you picked up the hints, I wanted you to. I just…I wanted to make sure that we are on the same page.” Severus cracked a grin and placed a hand over one of hers that was still cupping his cheek and held it, removing her hand and placing a feather-light kiss to the top of her hand. “We are. How should…How do you suppose we go about this? I know I’m not the easiest to get along with, but…” Y/N smiled kindly and scooted closer to him on the couch. “We’ll figure it out, I’m sure. I’m sure you know I can be stubborn and a few arguments or misunderstandings isn’t going to deter me, you know that. How do you think I weaseled my way into being your friend when I started working here?” Severus grinned and nodded. “Fair enough, you were particularly stubborn no matter how much I complained and was distant.” Y/N laughed and nudged him with her shoulder, settling against him when he started chuckling along with her. “I hope you know how glad I am you said something first. I was close to pulling you into a closet and snog you till you got the point.” At that Severus, laughed hard enough to shake the both of them. “Well, luckily you can snog me anytime now. I- well, I mean, if you wanted to, of course.” Y/N grinned and carefully turned him to face her once more, this time leaning in to press a gentle, loving kiss to his lips. Severus was shocked for a moment, but recovered just as quickly and stole another kiss. For once, he was extremely glad to have someone break his walls down and worm their way in.

Seeing Things
Part One: Visiting Hagrid
I decided since I have a 15 minute gap between classes today, that I’ll visit Hagrid. I haven’t been able to pop in to say hello since the start of term.
I tell my friends, Draco, Blaise, Pansy and Goyle where I’ll be and that I’ll meet them in potions before the bell. They tell me to pass on their greetings to Hagrid as well. I promised to do so.
As I make my way down the path, I notice Hagrid outside, working with his pumpkins. His patch has grown significantly since last term. It always amazes me how large his pumpkins get. One stands taller than me if you can believe that.
“Y/n!”
He shouts when he sees me walking up to the gate.
“Hi ya Hagrid. How are you?”
I ask. I consider him a father figure.
“Good. I see yeh got some extra time between classes?”
He questions.
“Yup. I wanted to come say hi since I haven’t gotten an opportunity until now.”
I continue. Trying to make the most of it before having to leave again.
“I’m honored. Professor Dumbledore told me yer pretty busy this year. With quidditch coming up and tons of homework.”
Says Hagrid.
“That’s right. Even though we’re only a month into this term, I’m already pretty exhausted.”
I say.
The clouds above us are moving in quickly. The sky went from bright blue to almost black within minutes. A rumble of thunder cracks loudly over the two of us. Hagrid shoots a look into the sky.
“Yer better get back y/n. The storm that’s brewin’ looks awfully mean.”
Points out Hagrid.
He pulls off his dragon hide gloves and grabs his tools before joining me up to his cabin door. We jump slightly at another crack of thunder.
“I’ll see you around Hagrid!”
I say after making sure he’s inside.
“Better hurry y/n. I’ll see yer later!”
He shouts over the wind. That’s now picking up.
He shuts his cabin door and I take off towards the castle. I’ve taken no more than seven steps when the rain started. It’s so thick I can barely see a foot in front of me. I can’t see the lights on the castle walls either. I become disoriented quickly.
After what feels like hours, I finally see the front steps. I’ve pulled my robe over my front tightly, in hopes my school books aren’t totally ruined. My hood flew off back down the path and there’s no point in putting it back up. My face and hair are soaked.
As I pass one of the last pine trees that sits close to the stone building, out of the corner of my eye, I see a figure. I shake my head, telling myself it’s nothing.
“Y/n”
I stop in my tracks. Turning in the direction my name was called. I realize it came from the figure I was so sure wasn’t there.
“What the hell?”
I whisper to myself, confused as to why someone would be out here. The voice wasn’t Hagrid, but someone more familiar. Someone I speak to everyday..it can’t be.
“Y/n.”
Says the figure again. This time taking steps to close the gap between myself and them. They come to a stop about 6 inches away from me. I look up, wanting to be sure I’m not hallucinating.
“Professor Snape?”
I question.
The corner of his lips turn up into what seems to be a smile. He doesn’t say another word. He stands there for another second before apparating. Leaving me alone yet again.
At this, I’m a bit spooked. I bolt inside the building. Heading directly to my potions class. Unaware of how late I am at this point.
Inside I can hear my fellow classmates turning pages and scribbling on their parchment.
I grip the knob, turning is hesitantly. Pushing the door open.
“Y/l/n. Are you aware your class started ten minutes ago? What was the hold up? And why are you wet?”
He asks, one of his eyebrows going up.
I stand there somewhat stunned. Not processing everything too well.
“Never mind that. Just take your seat.”
Speaks Professor Snape. He pulls out his wand and performs an instant dry spell. My robe, my hair, my skin, shoes and socks are dry. Feeling like they just came out from being hung in the sun.
I hurry to my seat. All of my friends look at me worriedly. Wondering what took me that long. They know I’m never one to be late.
“Y/n. What happened? You look like you’ve seen a ghost?”
Questions Draco in a whisper.
“Has Professor Snape left at all before I came in?”
I ask back in a whisper. Opening my book to chapter 7.
“No. He was in here when all of us arrived. Been in here since. Why?”
Replies Draco.
“Because I saw him. Two minutes ago. Outside, I spoke to him.”
I answer back. Remembering him calling my name clear as day. Just the way he spoke to me when I entered.
“How- is that possible?”
Draco questions.
“I don’t know…”
I answer my friend. I try to engulf myself in to todays reading assignment.
***
I perk my head up ever so slightly when I hear y/n and Mr. Malfoy whispering. Wondering if they’ll admit to their friend why they were late. Y/n isn’t one to be late. Without good excuse that is.
“Has Professor Snape left at all, before I came in?”
Y/n asks her friend.
My curiosity peaked. I decide to start a round to see if any of my students need help, hoping to get a better listen to y/n’s conversation. Luckily for me, Mr. Potter caught my attention, asking me about something in the chapter. Lucky for me, he sits right in front of y/n.
“No. He was in here when all of us arrived. Been in here since. Why?”
Asks Mr. Malfoy.
“Because I saw him. Two minutes ago. Outside, I spoke to him.”
Replies y/n.
My heart stops. How is that possible? I haven’t been outside at all today. I never step foot outside unless I have too. Which isn’t common.
I must ask them about it…

Snape X Professor Reader
"Would you like to have a drink with me, Ms. Yln?"
It took me a second to process that he was talking to me.
"Oh! Yes I would love to!"I said with a smile.
-
After the feast and sorting students to there designated common rooms, I rushed towards the dungeons in excitement.
I've been to Professor Snapes personal chambers before, this time it just felt a little different.
Was this considered a date?
-
I knocked on the door, trying to not be suspicious with my glowing smile.
"Welcome, Yn. Now what do you prefer? Wine or whiskey?"
"Fire whiskey." I blurted, watching as Severus smiled at me.
-
A couple shots later, I felt very dizzy and ready to blurt my feelings out to Severus.
I can't though.
Not tonight anyways.
I'm not ready.

LOVE SONG
It was a long and a tiring day. The noisy banter and chit chat at his workplace never seemed to stop. Infact he could still hear the annoying ringing in his ears that was caused due to high chirped noises of his hormonal raged students. He was feared and known for his harsh biting words, but it is getting more and more difficult to deal with kids these days. Although they do not act up in his class, he sometimes questions his occupational choices. Grumbling, he fights the lock of his door with the key and it opens with a defeated creak. And as soon as he steps in, the dim lights guide his way, the warmth of the fire place seeping in his chilled bones, aroma of chicken pie filled his lungs and a soft hum coming from his kitchen. He quietly closes the door and hangs his black coat, takes off his shoes and makes his way to the kitchen, with his bag in his hands, where he sees the love of his life humming a melody he played over the radio two days ago and pouring her self a glass of wine. He smiles to himself and leans against the frame as he watches her shake her hips to the tune, her short silk dress leaving no room for imagination as he ravishes her behind with his dark eyes. She gives off a happy sigh when her chicken pie is ready and turns around to gather the plates when she sees him. And with sparkle in her deep brown eyes, she squeals and throws herself at him, wrapping her arms around his neck and softly pecking his amused lips over and over until he gave into fully commiting his lips to hers and wrapped his arms around her waist while feeling her warm skin seep into his body as he holds her close kisses her senseless. "I missed you" was all she said. And those three words was all it took for him to drop his bag and swoop her up in his arms and drown her in a passionate kiss while crossing the kitchen in quick big strides, she wraps her legs around his firm torso and plays with his soft silky hair as he nips her lower lip softly. She could feel her self getting aroused with just his kisses and the feel of him against her body. He smirked when he felt her shiver, for he knew how sensitive she is. He softly squeezes her butt cheek and runs his right hand up her silk covered lower back and she moans lustily in his mouth and arches slightly. No doubt her voice will always be music to his ears, for he always enjoys hearing her humming, or singing and even gracing him with her beautiful voice whenever he ask her to sing him to sleep when nightmares of his past evade his peace of mind. But when it comes to love making, Her moans of pleasure are one of his most favourite sounds. He still remembers their very first makeout session on his couch, how it started with an innocent massage session when she complained about a kink in her shoulder. And being a gentleman he was, he offered to have a look at it, and she moaned the minute his fingers smoothen away those painful knots. He freezes when he heard her moan and looks at her through the mirror with awe. She blushes and feeling embarrassed she utters "I'm sor-" when his fingers dug into her shoulders again, and she moans, her eyes shut as pleasure consorts on her face. He gazes at her through the mirror except, this time lust clouding his dark eyes, as he inches slowly closer to her, his eyes not leaving hers and she was paralysed in anticipation on what he was going to do to her. She swallowed as she hears his deep baritone voice whispers in her ears "sensitive...I love it" and kisses her neck, she throws her head back, eyes shut and moans. From that day onwards, he made sure to know every kinds and types of sounds she makes. And he would repeatedly encourage her to call out his name during their lovemaking sessions. He sometimes wonders if his only reason for sex is just to hear her mewl, purr, gasp and moan in his ears while he touches, kisses and loves every inch and depths of her exquisitely soft body. He would prolong, or even delay his own orgasm just to please her and hear her moans and her cries of bliss reverberate in their
bedroom. He kisses trail down from her lips and she giggles when it reaches her neck. And pushes her self to look at him "the chicken pie.." He smirks and drops her on the big low couch, his dark eyes lustily trailing up her beautiful legs and now exposed stomach as her silk dress hitched up while he carried her to the living room. She looks at him looking down at her, her arms, thrown to to her sides, her long brown hair spread around her as her soft pink lips parted and slightly swollen, her eyes dewy and clouded with lust as a soft blush spreads from her cheeks, to her neck and the swell of her breast. The soft glow of the fireplace illuminated her beautiful features as his eyes drank in her sight. He could see her nipples taut against the thin fabric, begging to be touched, caressed and sucked on, his eyes raked down to the black lace panties she was wearing. He brushes his knuckles over her cloth covered mons and she gasp softly and bites her lips. He kneels between her legs and her chest heaves rapidly. He looks at her in the eye and says "the pie can wait". And ravishes her, making sure to embed himself deep in her, so that she won't miss him anytime soon, while she drowns her self in ecstacy, her soft mewls singing in his ears, as both of them come together, composing their very own love song, the chorus being
"Severus" .........

Pansy’s Plot // Draco Malfoy
Request: hi there!! I just wanted to say i absolutely adore your writing, and was wondering if you could write something where the reader and draco are dating but pansy is jealous so she lies and makes draco think you cheated on him but in actual fact you didnt and it’s just super angsty and then fluffy. The prompts i chose were 94, 85, 55, 14, 1 and 34 of course i don’t mind at all if you don’t want to use them or leave a few out :)
A/N: Hello! Sorry this took so long to get written, but I wanted to make sure it was good so I took my time. Also, my arthritis was making writing a very painful process, with that being said, I likely won’t post anything else this week until the weekend because I need to rest my hand. But I hope you enjoy this and to the person who requested, I hope it’s everything you wanted! Side note, I did change some of the prompts to fit the story and I didn’t use 55.
Summary: Pansy tricks Draco into believing his girlfriend (Y/N) cheated on him with Blaise. Angst and fluff follow.
Warning(s): Swearing, physical beating up/hitting, non-consensual kissing/touching
Word Count: 4.6k
Prompts (list): 1, 14, 34, 85, 99
Y/N trudged into the Great Hall, looking miserable. She’d just had the worst potions class of her life. Snape had been teaching them how to make a memory potion, but she had mistakenly added the powdered sage before the stewed mandrake, causing the brew to bubble violently and splatter her Slytherin robes with putrid yellow liquid. It didn’t help that along with having unflattering stains, she now smelled like rotten roses.
As she dragged herself to the Slytherin table, she felt stares on the back of her head. She rolled her eyes and positioned her chin over her shoulder, instantly zeroing in on the Ravenclaw boy who was pointing his thumb at her and laughing with his mates. With a discreet flick of her fir wood wand, Y/N sent the boy’s noodles flying onto his face with a loud splat. She smirked to herself while tucking her wand back into her pocket. She continued walking and took her place at the table next to her boyfriend.
“Hello, Draco,” she said sweetly as she plopped down onto the bench. Her boyfriend looked up from his meal.
“Bloody hell, Y/N. Where have you been? And what happened to you?” he asked, his face scrunching up in disgust. It took everything in his willpower not to slide away from his potion covered girlfriend.
“Sorry, I’m a bit late. I fucked up in potions. Don’t worry, though, I’ll get cleaned up after I have my lunch. Besides, I hardly see you anymore with O.W.Ls coming up. I didn’t want to skip out on you,” she explained, shifting her gaze from the food in front of her to Draco's distasteful looking face.
“What, Malfoy? You don’t like the smell of a failed memory potion?” she questioned while playfully leaning closer to him. Draco couldn’t take it anymore; he scrambled to scoot away from her. This made Y/N begin to giggle. She pushed her head behind her ear and batted her eyelids mockingly.
“Why won’t you give me a kiss, love?” she asked with pouty lips, her hands making grabbing motions at the blonde boy. He opened his mouth to speak but was promptly interrupted by a snooty voice from across the table.
“Perhaps it’s because you smell worse than a dirty house-elf, Y/N,” sneered Pansy Parkinson, a dark-haired Slytherin girl who was particularly nasty. Draco watched as Y/N’s back straightened, and her angry eyes flickered to the hard-faced girl. He knew this look well, considering she’d given it to him quite a few times throughout their two-year relationship. If it had been anyone else receiving Y/N’s glare, he might’ve felt a bit scared for them. But this was Pansy, and not many were fond of her.
“I don’t remember asking for your opinion, Parkinson. But please, by all means, let’s hear your thoughts. Frankly, I didn’t think you had any up in that empty head of yours,” Y/N retorted, her voice calm and collected. Pansy’s face went redder than a tomato. She angrily stood up from her seat, leaving her untouched sandwich sitting on the table as she stormed out of the hall, her hair swishing behind her.
Y/N scoffed. “What a wanker. Honestly, hasn’t she got anything better to do?” she questioned, voicing her irritation. Draco slid close to his girlfriend and gently put his hands on her shoulders, rubbing them firmly. He felt the tension begin to leave her muscles.
“Don’t let her get to you, love. It’s only Parkinson. Since when did you get so worked up over what she says?” Draco asked.
Y/N remained silent. Truth be told, Pansy had been tormenting her for nearly a month now. Her usual snide remarks had never caused much of a ruse within Y/N before, but that was until she’d started attacking her and Draco’s relationship. Whenever Y/N would say goodnight to Draco and head up to the girls’ dormitory, she would be greeted by Pansy sitting next to her snotty friends. They’d sit on their beds and snicker when Y/N walked in. They’d always say things like, “You know, Draco only likes you because you’re easy,” or “He pities you, Y/N.” Not to mention all the times they'd called her a slag. At first, she was able to ignore it. But after numerous weeks of hearing such degrading and hurtful words, she’d begun to believe them.
Telling Draco wasn’t an option. Y/N was ashamed; she didn’t want Draco to be disappointed in her for letting Pansy get to her. The look on his face if she told him would be too much to stomach.
“Y/N? What’s wrong, babydoll?” Draco asked. His girlfriend’s silence was concerning him. Y/N turned to him and forced a smile onto her lips. “Nothing,” she assured him, “I’m fine.”
Draco looked skeptical but dismissed his worry and leaned in for a quick kiss. Y/N kissed him back, but after a few moments, she pulled away. “I’d better go get cleaned up before Transfiguration. McGonagall wouldn’t be pleased if I came in like this,” she laughed while gesturing to her soiled uniform. Draco smiled and nodded.
“I’ll see you in the common room after dinner, yeah?” he asked as Y/N stood up from the table and pushed her hair out of her face. She willed herself to look up and shake her head, yes. Her boyfriend still looked apprehensive. “See you then,” she choked out as she spun on her foot and made haste to leave the Great Hall.
--------
Later in the school day, Y/N was leaving her last class, Herbology, and was walking through the mysteriously empty corridors, the thought of a relaxing bath filling her head, when she ran smack into someone. She nearly toppled over from the impact, but the person she’d bumped into quickly seized her arm and pulled her close to their chest. Y/N instantly felt uncomfortable and pushed herself off of the tall figure. Upon looking up, she saw that Blaise Zabini had been the one to save her ass from hitting the floor. She’d never been one to forgo manners as many other Slytherins did, so she nodded her head and said, “Thanks, Zabini.”
He smirked down at her, his white teeth showing. “No problem, sweetheart,” he purred. A cold shudder ran down Y/N’s spine. She didn’t like this situation one bit; however, when she tried to distance herself and Blaise, he grabbed her upper arm and tugged her towards him. She found herself once again pressed up against the boy’s chest.
“Where you going, babydoll?” he asked. Bile rose up from Y/N’s stomach. When Draco called her babydoll, it was cute, but when the word fell from Blaise’s lips, she felt thoroughly sick. She wiggled her arm, trying desperately to remove it from his grasp. But it was to no avail. His fingers were wrapped around her bicep so firmly she could practically feel the bruises beginning to form.
Y/N continued to struggle against him. “Let go of me, you prat,” she grunted. Blaise didn't heed her words; instead, he stared at something behind her. Y/N looked over her shoulder, but before she had the chance to register who was there, Blaise took her chin in his fingers and forced his lips onto hers. Y/N squealed in shock and tried to use her free arm to push Blaise off. She felt fear overtake her entire body as she fought hard to get out of his clutches. But the boy was too powerful. Luckily for Y/N, she remembered what her father had always told her to do if a male ever tried to violate her. Hit him where it hurts. Without a moment's hesitation, she lifted her foot and rammed her knee into Blaise’s crotch with as much force as she could muster.
He grunted painfully and instantly let go of her, his hands flying to protect his private parts from any further harm. “Fucking bitch!” he yelled. Y/N backed away from him in fear. She was about to run away when she remembered that he had been staring behind her. Y/N turned around to see Pansy holding a camera in one hand and fresh pictures in the other. Her heart raced when she put two and two together. She’d been set up, and she was angry. Y/N whipped out her wand and pointed it at Pansy's head. Wordlessly, she sent the camera and pictures flying from her grasp and into her own. This didn’t please the Slytherin, who took out her own wand and angrily shouted, “Flipendo!” Before Y/N could react, she was sent flying backward, letting the camera and pictures fall from her hands.
When she fell, her head hit the floor hard enough that it bounced. She stayed still as pain pulsed through her entire skull. As she was recovering from the intense blow, Pansy strutted over to her. She laughed as she stood over her and glared down. “Look at you—what a pathetic excuse for a Slytherin. Can’t even properly defend yourself,” she sneered. Y/N, fueled by anger, jumped to her feet and shouted the first spell that came to mind without thinking. “Incarcerous!” Ropes shot from the tip of her wand and wrapped around Pansy’s chest and arms, rendering her defenseless and immobile. Adrenaline was still rushing in her bloodstream when a deep voice called out to her.
“Miss Y/L/N,” it bellowed. Y/N’s heart sank; she recognized that voice to be Severus Snape’s. Sighing, she tucked her wand into her robe and glanced to her left to see the greasy-haired professor. His robe was flowing behind him as he walked rapidly towards her. “Detention,” he declared. Y/N knew better than to argue; the last time she tried, she’d only earned herself another week of writing lines in Snape’s office. After nodding to her potions professor, she turned to go but then spotted the camera. It was in Blaise’s hands. He simply smirked at her and sauntered away.
No, no, no, Y/N thought as her heart sank. She felt as though she was rooted to the stone floor. It was obvious what Pansy and Blaise were planning to do with those photos. They had thought this out; they were going to show them to Draco. After she realized the shit she was in, Y/N knew there was only one thing she could do at this point. Get to Draco before they did.
She bent her knees and took off sprinting through the hallway, determination pumping through her body. But she was stopped short by the sound of her name coming from Snape. Reluctantly and defeatedly, she willed her feet to slow down. “Where do you think you’re going, young lady?” Snape called out to her. Y/N spun around slowly, a grimace plastered to her face. “My dorm,” she said uncertainly; her statement sounded more like a question.
Snape raised an eyebrow. “You’ll be coming with me to my office to serve your detention.” Y/N grumbled to herself angrily. She still couldn’t understand why Snape was never as nice to her as he was towards the rest of the Slytherin house. Y/N watched as Snape freed Pansy from her restraints. She got to her feet and thanked her head of house before strolling down the corridor, making sure to leer at Y/N when she passed. The urge to sock her in the jaw was strong, but Y/N refrained and followed after Snape, hoping to get detention over with as soon as possible.
--------
Draco was fiddling with a stray thread on his sweater when Pansy sat down next to him. He gave her a look. Pansy had a devilish smirk on her face. “Hello, Draco,” she cooed. The blonde shifted his weight so that he was farther away from Pansy. “What do you want?” he questioned. “I’m waiting for Y/N.”
Pansy’s head fell back as she let out a shrill laugh. “You won’t give a damn about her once you see this,” she declared cheerfully. Draco looked at her quizzically. “See what?” he hesitantly asked. Pansy wiggled her eyebrows and reached into her pocket. Slowly, she pulled out two pictures and passed one to Draco. His eyes studied her face before they downshifted to the photo in his lap. Draco’s confusion only grew when he saw what the picture was showing. Y/N and Blaise were pressed up against one another. Her hand was touching his chest, and he was caressing her cheek.
“What the fuck is this, Parkinson?” Draco spat violently. Pansy said nothing; she only handed him the second photo. Draco snatched it from her; his breathing stopped when he looked at it. It was a photo of them kissing. Blaise and Y/N had kissed. Draco felt betrayed, deceived, hoodwinked, you name it, he felt it. Questions began to flood his brain. How could she do this? How long had she been seeing Blaise? Was he not good enough for her? Had he done something to upset her? Panic began to rise within Draco.
“She’s been cheating on you for quite some time, Draco. I was going to tell you sooner, but I knew you wouldn’t believe me without proof,” Pansy said sweetly. She tentatively put her hand on Draco’s shoulder and began to rub up and down soothingly. He barely registered her touch as his world began to crumble. His heart was totally and utterly broken. He couldn’t think he couldn’t breathe. Nothing made sense to him at that moment.
“This must be so hard for you, Draco. I’m so sorry. But look on the bright side, now you can get rid of her. You have proof that she cheated. There’s no way she can deny what she did,” Pansy said a little too excitedly. But Draco paid her no mind; his eyes still hadn’t moved from the photographs in his palms.
“Where is she?” he asked through gritted teeth. Pansy sighed dejectedly. “Well, she attacked me in the hallway, but Snape caught her. I suspect she’s still in detention, but—” Pansy was cut off by Draco springing to his feet, the photos in his tight grip. “Where are you going?” she asked him; he was at the door. Without looking back, he said, “To find her.”
“Draco! Wait!” Pansy exclaimed, but Draco was already gone.
Snape’s office wasn’t far; it was in the dungeons along with the Slytherin common room and potions classroom. Draco’s heart was racing as he stormed through the hallways. He had no plan of action; he just knew he had to find her. Millions of possibilities ran through his head, but he didn't stop to ponder any of them. He rounded a corner and felt his breath catch in his throat. There she was. She looked distraught. When her eyes found Draco, she walked towards him immediately. Draco didn’t move from his spot. He let her come to him. When she reached him, she stared at him intently. A few moments of heavy silence passed before she decided to test the waters. “Draco?” she asked hesitantly.
“How long?” he retorted.
“How long? What do you mean?”
“Don’t play fucking dumb, Y/N. How long have you and Blaise been together, huh?”
Y/N’s face paled. “Draco, it is not what it looks like. Whatever Pansy told you isn’t true.”
Draco laughed. “She didn’t tell me. She showed me,” he replied in a strangely calm voice. Y/N felt tears spring to her eyes as Draco harshly shoved the photographs into her hands. She reluctantly looked down at the images of her and Blaise. She knew it looked terrible, but she was determined to make Draco believe her.
“What do you have to say for yourself? I mean, seriously, was I not good enough for you? Is that it?” Draco asked. Hurt was audible in his voice.
Y/N felt her heart shatter. “Draco, don’t talk like that, of course, you’re good enough for me. You’re more than enough. Please, you have to trust me, you have to believe me. I would never cheat on you; they set me up.” Y/N pleaded. Her eyes were wide with fear.
Draco scoffed and shook his head in disbelief. “Don’t lie to me, don’t make up stories. You cheated, and you didn’t care about the repercussions. Did you ever care? Was I just a game, just a toy for you?” He asked, his voice cracking.
“Of course I cared about you, Draco, I still do. I never fucking stopped caring about you... About us. Draco, I love you, please believe me, please let me explain,” she begged. But Draco wasn’t having it. He took a step backward; she took one forward. Draco clenched his fists. “Get away from me. We’re done.”
Y/N began to panic. “No, no, Draco, listen to me. Please don’t leave, please—”
“Shut up. Shut the fuck up! I don’t give a damn what you have to say. I don’t want to hear from you again, I don’t want to look at you. Do you understand me? Stay the fuck away from me,” Draco commanded. He continued backing up. This time, Y/N stayed put. Tears fell from her cheeks as she watched her lover leave. She felt her legs begin to tremble. She couldn't believe this was happening. It had only been a few hours ago that she had given him a good morning kiss. How had they ended up in this situation so fast? Her legs continued to shake, and eventually, she collapsed onto the cold floor. Sobs racked her body.
-----------
A few weeks later, Draco was sitting in his usual spot in the Great Hall. In Y/N’s place, however, sat Pansy. She was leaning on her hand and gazing at Draco mindlessly. Truth be told, it made Draco a bit uncomfortable. But he did his best to ignore her as he finished up his supper. The past week had been extremely hard for him. He’d hardly gotten any sleep due to the fact all he could think about was Y/N. The look on her face when he’d ended things was burned into his mind. She’d looked so heartbroken, almost as if she was the one who was hurting. Draco knew better than that; he knew he was the one who’d been deceived. He was the one who’d been cheated on, for crying out loud. If anyone was hurting, it was him.
Every time he saw an orange, her favorite fruit, he’d feel his heart clench. Whenever he’d pass the astronomy tower, he’d be reminded of all their time spent up there. The worst, however, was seeing her in the hallways. It hurt beyond belief to see her with Blaise. It just so happened that every time Draco saw them, Blaise's arm was around her waist. It made him sick to his stomach.
“You feeling alright, Dray?” Pansy inquired, pulling Draco out of his thoughts. He nodded and continued to pick at his shepherd's pie. “You don’t look, alright,” Pansy pushed further. Draco slammed his fist onto the table, making some fellow Slytherins irritated. He ignored them and glared at the girl next to him. “I found out a week ago that my girlfriend of two years has been cheating on me. Sorry, I’m not my usual fucking self,” he snapped. Pansy looked disturbed by his angry outburst and decided to remain silent for the rest of their meal.
Draco remained quiet as well; he didn’t like talking anymore. Hell, he didn’t like doing anything anymore. He felt so empty without her. She gave his life joy. Bullying first years and Harry Potter wasn’t the most fulfilling activity, neither was burying himself in his studies. But when Y/N was present, he was happy; he was important. Without her, he felt worthless.
Just then, Draco noticed the couple themselves walking towards the doors of the Great Hall. Blaise’s hand was wrapped around Y/N's arm. She looked a bit disgruntled. When the pair passed Draco and Pansy, Y/N made eye contact with the blonde boy. Her eyes seemed sad, pleading almost. This intrigued Draco more than he cared to admit. He watched them leave, waited a few seconds, then stood up from his seat.
“Draco, where are you going? You haven’t finished your dinner,” Pansy whined. He chose to ignore her and follow after his former lover instead.
When he walked through the doors, he headed for the stairs to the dungeons. He knew Y/N would always go straight to the common room after dinner; he could only hope that was still true. Draco could hear his heartbeat in his ears as he raced down the stone steps. He wasn’t quite sure what had possessed him to follow after the girl who cheated on him, but there he was running after her.
When he got to the bottom of the staircase, he became acutely aware of the lack of people in the Hogwarts basement. Usually, Slytherins would be lurking around every corner, but not tonight. It was too quiet for Draco's liking. He willed himself to calm down. Once he did, he heard the sound of hushed voices coming from his right. He quietly hastened down the dark corridor until he came to the end of it. “Leave me alone,” a familiar voice said. Draco knew it was Y/N, he felt his heart jump upon hearing her, but He stayed hidden behind a wall and urged himself to open his ears to the conversation around the corner.
“You and Parkinson have already ruined my relationship. Can’t you just leave me be now? I thought you were just helping her get those photos; why are you still bothering me?” Y/N asked. She sounded exasperated.
“Pansy did pay me well for those pictures, but I’m afraid I’ve taken a liking to you, sweetheart. You’re just too pretty to pass up.”
After a few beats, Y/N replied with a quiet, “Don’t touch me.” Anger began to boil within Draco, but he didn’t let his presence be known just yet. He wanted to continue eavesdropping on their conversation.
“What’s wrong, babydoll? Don’t like me?” Blaise asked tauntingly. Draco clenched his fists in an attempt to control his anger. But he knew it was only a matter of time before he lost his temper.
“Well, no shit Zabini. You fucking assaulted me and—” Y/N was cut off by a loud slap. This set Draco off; he launched himself off the wall and rounded the corner, wand out, and raised. Y/N and Blaise were shocked to see him here, but Blaise quickly masked his surprise and put his hands behind his back.
“Ah, Malfoy. Fancy seeing you here,” he said. Draco stormed up to him and pressed the tip of his wand to Blaise’s throat. He withdrew his hands slowly while staring at the wand, fear in his eyes. “Hey man, what the fuck are you doing?” he asked in a wavery voice.
“Did you hit her?” Draco asked. His voice was dark, his pupils were tiny as he glared at Blaise. The tall boy didn’t reply. Draco pressed his wand further into his neck. “Look at her, Zabini. Her cheek is burning red; I know you see it. So let me ask you again, did you fucking hit her? And don’t lie to me, you piece of shit.” Draco seethed. Y/N watched the exchange between the boys with terror on her face. She felt anything but safe.
Blaise gulped. “She was acting like a bitch,” he shrugged. Draco didn’t hesitate. “Petrificus Totalus!” Blaise fell backward onto the floor with a loud thud; he was now frozen. Draco stood over him, steaming as he tucked his wand into his pocket and reeled back his fist. “Draco, no!” Y/N yelled. But Draco was blind with rage. He rammed his fist into Blaise’s cheek. Y/N cried out for him to stop, but he hit him again and again. Blaise didn't make a peep as he was forced to endure Draco's brutal punches. Y/N looked on with tears streaming down her face. She didn’t try to stop him for fear he would turn on her.
Once Draco was satisfied with the pulp he had beat Balise into, he released him from his invisible bonds. The boy scrambled to his feet and ran off to the Slytherin common room, not wanting to test Draco’s patience any further. Draco watched him go as he examined the blood on his knuckles. At last, he and Y/N were alone. The blonde boy turned to Y/N. His stomach dropped when he saw her tear stricken face. Her eyes were filled with fear as she peered up at him from her spot on the floor. Draco hesitantly crouched down.
“Y/N… it’s okay. I’m not gonna hurt you,” he said softly. Y/N began to cry even more. Draco felt his stomach churn with regret, and he opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted by Y/N.
“I didn’t cheat o-on you. Parkinson pu-put Zabini up to it. I didn’t kiss him willingly,” she stuttered, her body still rocking with sobs. Draco felt like a complete arsehole. He should've just let her explain that night. If he would've only heard her out, they could've avoided all of this.
 Draco gently reached out his hand and waited until Y/N placed hers on top of it. He intertwined his fingers with hers. The warmth from her touch was a stark contrast to the icy feeling of his. He pulled her hand close and softly kissed it. “I believe you, love. I’m sorry I didn’t before, but I do now. Please forgive me.”
Y/N rubbed her nose and gradually opened her arms. Draco pulled her into a much-needed hug. He pressed his face into her shoulder and relished in the feeling of her arms around his. Even though it had only been a week, it had felt much longer. So to finally be back in each other’s embrace was like a breath of fresh air.
When they pulled away, Draco caressed her face and, with his thumb, began to wipe the tears from her soft cheeks. He noticed the fading red mark from Blaise’s slap, and he felt his fury begin to return. But Y/N saw this right away. She put her own hands on Draco’s face, forcing him to look her in the eyes. “I’m okay, just a little spooked is all,” she assured him. Draco saw right through her just like she’d seen through him. He knew she was terrified.
“You don’t have to put on a brave face for me, love. You’ve been hurt in so many ways, and I am so sorry. But I’m here now, and I promise you, nobody is going to lay another hand on you, okay? I’ve got you if you'll have me,” Draco said. Y/N smiled and pressed her forehead to his. They remained that way for a few moments before Draco pulled her into his lap. He stroked her hair comfortingly and began to rock her back and forth, calming her remaining tears.
After a few minutes of this, Y/N turned around in Draco’s grasp. She smiled and reached up to push his hair out of his face. Usually, it would be clean-cut and uniform, but that night’s events had turned it into a messy mop. She chuckled to herself, causing Draco to look at her quizzically. “What?” he asked. Y/N tilted her head and pursed her lips. “You’re just too cute, is all.”
Draco felt blush rush to his cheeks; he buried his face in Y/N’s shoulder yet again. She simply hummed contentedly and pressed a kiss to his head. “I missed you,” she mumbled. Draco lifted his head and placed a tender kiss on her lips. “I missed you too, my lovely.”
“Please don’t break up with me again. I was so sad,” Y/N said with pouty lips. Oh, how Draco had missed those. He leaned in for another kiss. “Don’t worry, I was really lonely without you. You’re stuck with me for the foreseeable future,” Draco declared. Y/N giggled. “Good,” she replied.
And suddenly...everything was okay again.

PART 12
Draco didn’t realize you never returned those words until he saw you flinch when he said it.
The two of you were outside in the meadows, watching the leaves grow on the branches of the trees. It’s been a good week for Draco. He only woke up in the middle of the night three times this week and he fell asleep only an hour after waking. He didn’t tell you that, though. He’s been trying to stay away from you during those hours of the night, afraid that you were going to grow tired of him, or worse already growing tired of him. He would often just lay in bed, eyes closed, counting backwards from 100 while holding his finger that housed the ring you gave him. It worked, although sometimes he had to repeat his counts.
But he began to miss you beside him. He was always cold at night and you were always so warm when you cuddled into his side. Whenever you were next to him, he found no use for the blanket on the corner of the bed. You were enough. You were more than enough.
Because he’s been trying to be more independent, he hasn’t seen you as much as he’d like, so the nights that were reserved for you, him, and the meadow, were his favorite nights. You were laying on his chest, a smile playing on your lips as he talked about the few fun memories he remembered from his childhood. He talked about Dobby and how he missed the elf the past holiday season. He playfully cursed Harry for freeing the elf but you knew he was just kidding by the way he was smiling fondly as he spoke.
“I saw him at Diagon Alley when I picked up your presents.” He mentioned, remembering the cheery elf who skipped towards him when he recognized Draco. “He seemed happier.”
“I’m sure he is.”
Draco mumbled in agreement, kissing your forehead. He saw you close your eyes, love pouring from his stare as he watched you slowly drift to sleep. Your breathing slowed a bit, heart rate steadying. He placed his lips by the shell of your ear, “I love you.”
I love you, three words that made you feel sick to your stomach. You pretended to be asleep so you didn’t have to say anything back.
He gulped when he saw you flinch. It was for a brief second, he almost didn’t catch it, but he did. Your face twisted into a grimace when he said those three words. You stiffened in his arms, breath pausing. Draco could feel his heart chipping in his chest. He may have not known what love is, what love is supposed to look like, but he knew someone wouldn’t respond that way to another person’s declaration of love if they felt the same way. He tried to steady himself, keeping in mind that you were still laying on his chest and if he were to move, you’d stir awake and you’d be faced with an awkward and uncomfortable conversation. He wasn’t ready to have that conversation yet.
Did you not love him? He began to think back, remembering the first time he told you he loved you. It was the night he told you about his dark mark. He remembered saying it so softly, almost inaudible, and you didn’t respond. You just kissed his skin until he stopped crying. Maybe you just didn’t hear him the first time.
Then he thought about when he passed by you to get to his seat in Potions. He slowed his stride when he reached your seat, tapping three times on the wooden desk to get your attention. You looked up at him, blush evident on your cheeks when you saw the ring sitting proudly on his finger. He mouthed, “I love you,” before turning away. He didn’t hear you say it back but the yellow light from his ring seemed to be enough then.
He thought about the time you two sat with Myrtle, telling her about your relationship. You both needed to tell someone, the stress of keeping everything a secret becoming too much for the two of you. You decided that Myrtle was your best bet. Myrtle teased that the two of you were in love and Draco confirmed the sentiment with a confident, “I do love her.” You, on the other hand, just kissed his lips. Maybe you knew that he would lose his train of thought once you kissed him.
Draco realized then that after all those times that he told you he loved you, you never once said it back. Not wanting to expose you to another one of his breakdowns, he shook you awake, getting up before you could fully comprehend what was going on. “It’s getting late.”
“Huh?” You rubbed your eyes, looking at the sky. It couldn’t have been later than midnight. You and Draco often stayed out there until dawn. You turned to him to ask what was happening but he already disappeared from his spot. He was halfway to the passageway already. Shocked, you jogged to catch up to him. You reached for his elbow, flinching when he pulled away. “What’s wrong?”
“Just need some rest.”
You frowned, unable to hide the hurt on your face, “Oh, okay.”
The rest of the way back to the garden was silent. He held out his wand for light to guide you both through the passageway, a few, hesitant, looks over his shoulder to make sure you were alright behind him. You wrapped your arms around yourself, trying to radiate more body heat. Draco usually gave you his sweater to wear on the way back.
Once you reached the door, he pushed it open, lowering his wand. He got out first and offered his hand for you to take. You placed your hand in his palm, allowing him to guide you out. You stood in front of him, silent, as he looked between your face and his shoes. He rubbed the back of his neck with his hand, “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Draco, stop.” You gripped his upper arm, pulling him back. “What happened?”
“Nothing.”
“Dra-”
“Ms. Y/LN,” A voice boomed from across the garden. As they emerged from the dark, it became evident who it was. Snape. Fuck, you thought. “Mr. Malfoy. May I ask what’s going on here? Where are the two of you coming from?”
You froze, realizing that the secret passageway was now exposed. You looked at Draco, mind racing. “I- We- uh..”
“It’s my fault, professor.” Draco spoke up, walking closer to Snape. “I dragged her out here. I invited her.”
Snape looked at him unconvinced, but nodded anyway, “Very well. Twenty points from Slytherin and fifteen points from Hufflepuff. Mr. Malfoy return to your dormitory now. Ms. Y/L/N, a word.”
“Okay, professor.” You replied, lowering your head in shame.
Draco looked at you one last time, offering a sad smile, before starting to walk towards the boys’ dormitories. Snape stopped him before he passed him. He leaned close to Draco, seriousness in his voice, “Mr. Malfoy I sure hope you’re not forgetting your mission. I would hate to think that you’ve allowed a girl to distract you.”
Draco clenched his jaw, harshly pulling away from Snape. He hastily wiped a tear from his face as he marched to the dormitories, leaving you and Snape in the garden. Snape motioned for you to follow him, and you did, albeit reluctantly. You stopped in front of the room where he kept all the ingredients for various potions. You’ve seen it, once or twice, when you helped the twins with a few pranks.
Snape called for you to enter the room, shutting the door behind you. It was bigger than you imagined. In the middle sat a chair, surrounded by jars of random things. He ordered you to sit, nearly shoving you into the seat with how impatient he was.
“Professor, wha-”
Before you could even ask a question, Snape raised his wand and uttered a spell. His words were too fast for you to realize what was going on. It wasn’t until you felt a sting in your head that you realized what he was doing. He was in your head.
You tried to fight him at first but he was far too powerful for you to counter. He easily slipped past any walls you tried to build up and he scoured your head, looking and searching for something, but you weren’t quite sure what. Like a movie, flashes of your life began to pass behind your eyelids. Your parents, the muggle world, your father leaving, your mother leaving, Mr. Diggory telling you that they’re both gone the minute he found out, all of it came flooding in. You struggled against the chair, not realizing he bound you to it. You thrashed around, discomfort filling your head.
And then he stopped searching. He let one memory play and you whimpered as you watched it unfold. It was Cedric. Young Cedric. It was the night after you found out your parents died. He snuck out of his room and sat across from you in the living room, handing you tissues as you sobbed into the pillow. His father was asleep in the room upstairs but Cedric couldn’t sleep because he heard your cries echoing throughout the house.
His hands were so small against your back. He was rubbing your back up and down, trying to soothe you as you cried. You leaned against him and he awkwardly put his arm around you, not knowing what to do as he’s never been this close to a girl before. But then he felt you collapse under him, in utter despair as you questioned where you’d be living and if you would still have connections with the Wizard World now that your only relatives were Muggles, and he knew exactly what he needed to do.
He nudged you and placed his hand out with his pinky outstretched. You linked your pinky with his, wiping your nose with your unoccupied hand. He smiled, “I promise to be your best friend forever.”
“I promise too.”
The pain came back. You yelled as Snape began to dig deeper. It was like your memories were sorted into files and he was just taking his pick, wanting to see what is in your head. He stopped at a memory from when you were 13 years old. It was the summertime and Mr. Diggory was out buying some food for dinner. You and Cedric were alone in the house talking about the past year at Hogwarts. You knew exactly what this day was.
This was the day you had your first kiss.
You couldn’t remember exactly how it even happened, or how the conversation started, but you somehow mentioned that you’ve never kissed anyone. Cedric snorted in laughter, clutching his stomach as you glared at him. He continued to make fun of you for a few more minutes before abruptly stopping. A sheepish smile crept on his face as he rubbed the back of his neck with his hand, “I can kiss you if you want.”
Your eyes widened a bit, unsure of what to say next. You gulped and nodded, hesitantly, leaning in. He did the same, letting a breathy chuckle slip past his lips. The kiss lasted only for a minuscule of a second because Mr. Diggory burst through the front door, making the two of you jump far away from each other. The rest of the day, you sported a permanent blush on your cheeks.
The last one was the most painful one. It seemed like Snape was torturing you, twisting your mind into shapes as he plucked out this one memory: Your conversation with Fred. You listened as the words rang in your ears, “I can see myself falling in love with him but I don’t want to.”
Once those words left your lips, you were pulled back to reality with a sharp gasp. Snape had a devilish smile on his face, watching you plead him silently. He still had his wand out when he spoke again, “Your biggest desire is still Cedric Diggory.”
“Why are you doing this?” You questioned, tears pricking your eyes. “What is the reason?”
He ignored your questions, letting a laugh escape his lips. “Draco Malfoy is hopelessly in love with you and you’re in love with Cedric Diggory.”
“Stop.” You whispered, pulling against the restraints.
“Unrequited love is a difficult love, Y/N Y/L/N.” He said. For a moment his exterior changed. A brief look of hurt was seen on his features as he said those words. “It’s the worst. I think I owe it to Mr. Malfoy to tell him that you don’t feel the same.”
“You don’t know how I feel.” You spat. “Don’t you dare talk to Draco.”
“Oh, but I must.” He brought his wand up again. “He does have to complete something after all and it seems you’ve been distracting him.”
Scowling, you asked, “What are you talking about?”
“Miss Y/L/N, love is a dangerous thing.” Snape stated. Then with a flick of his wand, he chanted, “Obliviate.”

Please some snape x wife reader. When another girl start flirt with him infront of his wife and she’s is like: hello I am right here you dumb bitch. Thank you so much. I love your blog ❤️
//aaaa thank you!! <3 This one's a little shorter, but I hope you enjoy it! there's like one or two suggestive comments in there but nothing too bad!//
What started as a normal grocery run turned out to be a frustrating day out for you. A woman in the grocery store apparently found herself unable to keep to herself and decided to continuously “bump” into both you and Severus as you tried to just grab the needed food and run back home for a quiet evening. At first you tried to keep you wits about you, trying to block out the woman’s incessant talking and desperately trying to ignore the flirtatious undertones in her voice. With a huff, you continued to pick out food until you heard the woman say, “Well, though you’re not much of a talker…How about when you finish up with your sister, I can keep you company for the night?” You snapped your head towards her and got in-between the woman and Severus.
“I will have you know, ma’am, that this fine man right here happens to be my husband! Now, seeing as you’ve been continuously following us through this store and delaying our day together, it would be best for you to either make your way back to your own spouse before I start something you really don’t want to finish.” The woman stuttered out pathetic excuses, clearly not expecting to be both humiliated and called out in the middle of the produce aisles.  You sneered at the woman, a habit you must’ve picked up from Severus over the years, and glared her down. “You really thought I didn’t notice that little gold wedding band on your finger? You must be some kind of wife if you keep running around town trying to take other women’s husbands. Now kindly piss off and let us be in peace!” With a huff, you took Severus’s hand in your own and went to the next aisle over, silently fuming while Severus observed you with a glint in his eyes.
Seeing as no one was around, Severus quickly waved necessary items into the trolly and pulled you in for an embrace. Whispering in your ear, he said, “Love, let’s just pay for what we have and get home, yeah? I can have Albus send us a care package this month. I think we’ve had enough of an adventure today.” You hesitated a second before nodding in agreement, face flushing when you felt Severus place his hand on the small of your back to both guide you and comfort you, at least you suspected as much.
The journey home was fairly quiet, but not uncomfortably so. Severus kept his hand intertwined with you, grocery bags discreetly shrunk down and stored safely in your purse. The closer you got to home, the more you felt embarrassed at your outburst in the grocery store. ‘I must’ve seemed pretty childish…but I thought she deserved it…Maybe I let jealousy cloud my mind a bit too much…’ Severus hid a fond smile and whispered loud enough for you to hear, “Well, you are right. She did deserve what you gave to her. Foolish woman clearly must be blind or a moron to do what she was doing.” You whipped around and pouted. “Sev!” Severus smiled and leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to your cheek. “Sorry, love. Don’t get down on yourself. If anything, you caught my attention with that little show.” The way he said that sounded more flirtatious in your humble opinion. “You’ll be the death of me, Severus, I swear.” And you pulled him down into a kiss. “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to show my appreciation for you much more thoroughly when get home.” Yup, he’s definitely going to be the death of you.

Smut-Tember Day 1- Reunited sex with Severus Snape
Pairing: Severus Snape x reader
Warnings: smut, reference to injury (nagini bite), mentions of scarring, snape lives AU
Gif creds to owner
Tumblr media
“Severus?” You barrelled into the private room to the side of the hospital wing, eyes wide. “Is he…” you turned to madam Pomfrey as you saw the empty bed, your mind instantly jumping to the worst conclusion.
“Am I what?”
You let out a shuddering breath as Severus returned from the en suite bathroom, a glass of water in hand. His voice was hoarse (no surprises there, given the scarring around his throat) and through his treatment and trial he had gotten skinnier, more scrawny and haggard but… he was your Severus and he was back.
“Poppy, am I free to go home to my wife, or do you need to pour more potions down my poor throat?” He asked the mediwitch, a good-natured glint in his eye.
Poppy rolled her eyes and swatted his arm gently, warning him not to strain himself, though her words fell on deaf ears as she watched you retreat, severus’s arm wrapping around your waist, holding your firmly to his side.
***
“Fuck,”
The curse tumbled from your lips without a second thought as Severus backed you up against the bedroom door. His long fingers worked their way up your blouse, until it fell to the floor, while you were extremely grateful for his choice to wear a loose T-shirt rather than his usual buttoned frock coat. As his chest was revealed to you, you bit back a gasp; although you were used to the silvery scars on his abdomen, nothing could have prepared you for the full extent of nagini’s bite. Though the initial would had scabbed and scarred over, his sallow skin was bruised, his veins showing black from where the venom had seeped. “Poppy says it will take months to heal completely,” he murmured as you’d fingertips ghosted over the spider’s web of veins that spanned across his shoulder and chest.
“My… beautiful, brave husband,” you whispered, looking up at his dark eyes and blinking away tears as you lowered your head to ghost kisses over his chest. “So strong,” you said. “I love you, Severus,”
Severus gave a small sigh of relief. “I love you too, YN. I kept going only for you,”
You were both crying, your tears mingling as you kissed. Your heated fever from before had dissipated into slower, gentler passion, yet it burned hotter than ever. You helped each other out of the remainder of your clothes, stopping to kiss and caress each newly revealed bit of skin, re-familiarising yourselves with your bodies.
As Severus lay back among the pillows, you moved to straddle him, gently lowering your weight onto him, and he whined at the feeling of your wetness on his shaft after so long, his hips bucking subconsciously, wanting to be inside you, for your bodies to be joined once more.
“YN, please,” he groaned, his fingers scrabbling to hold onto your hips. “I-I won’t last long,”
“It’s fine, sev,” you whispered, guiding him into you. As you slowly slid down onto him, you let out a long moan, mirrored by Severus. Gasping, you began to rock your hips slowly, not wanting to go full throttle just now; it had been so long, and you wanted to feel truly connected with your husband for the first time in almost a year.
Admiring your heaving breasts, Severus took hold of your hands, intertwining your fingers before kissing your knuckles gently, and you allowed yourself to fall forward, knowing he would catch you. You buried your head into his neck (the ‘good’ side), kissing his throbbing pulse over and over as your hips rocked and circled along his length, aided by his slow thrusts. Severus moaned, burying his face into your hair and kissed the top of your head, his arms wrapping around you and holding you impossibly closer to his body, rubbing soothing circles as your breathing grew louder and more laboured, and he felt your knees gripping his hips, your heat gripping his length.
He could not warn you that he was about to come, his breath catching in his throat as his toes curled and he spurted his release into your waiting channel. You whimpered into his neck, and with a few more wriggles of your hips (and his thumb pressing against your clit) you too were tumbling off the edge of pleasure, fresh tears streaming down both of your faces as you called out your love for one another.
Gently, you dismounted, snuggling into Severus’s side as he cast the cleaning and contraceptive charms with a well practiced flick of his wand.
“I’ve missed you,” you whispered, reaching to squeeze his hand.
“I’ve missed you too,” he replied, swiping away your tears with his knuckle, despite the tears glinting on his own cheeks. “I’m never leaving you again, my love,”

This is for @snapesangel 🙂 I’ve made it fairly open ended so it’s up to you the relationship between yn and Sev. Could be friend / parent / boyfriend etc. Hope it’s ok 🖤
Snape x Reader Comfort
Severus has noticed your change in mood the past few days. Unlike those people that constantly whine about how unfair their lives are, you tend to bottle up your emotions and keep it all inside. But Severus notices how you have been subdued, the sparkle has gone from your eyes, and though he’s not much of a smiler himself, he misses your warm smile and sarcastic jokes.
At first he gives you a bit of space. Sometimes you just need a bit of time to sort things through on your own. And he knew you wouldn’t want to make a big fuss or cause a scene. But after two long days of watching the sadness in your eyes he just couldn’t stand it anymore.
After dinner one evening he demands you come to his quarters. Indicating to the plush chesterfield sofa he busies himself throwing various herbs into a teapot. The sofa looks austere but is surprisingly comfortable and you can’t help curling up in the corner.
Severus joins you, bringing a steaming teapot and two mugs. He sits down next to you and pours you a mug of tea. You breathe in the aroma of rosehip, lavender, and clove and immediately begin to relax a little.
“[y/n]” Severus’ deep voice intones. “I can see that you have not been quite yourself - no don’t tell me you’re fine.” He tells you firmly. “I always know when you are lying.” He adds, his mouth turning up ever so slightly on one side.
“I…” You sigh. You don’t want to be a bother but all of the sadness and anger are just churning up inside and if you don’t let it out soon you might just explode. How is it that Severus always knows exactly what you need?
“I don’t know where to start.” Is all you can manage to say. Already you can feel the tears pricking at the back of your eyes and you don’t want to embarrass yourself by bursting into floods of tears.
“Tell me what cretin has caused you this pain and I will gladly gut them for you.” Severus growls with only a touch of humour, but it makes you smile anyway. Unfortunately the smile causes a few of those tears you have been holding back to spill down your cheeks.
“[y/n]” Severus says again, almost whispering. You look down feeling ashamed but you feel a finger gently brush the wetness from your cheek. You try to take a deep breath so you can explain what has been going on, but the air catches in your throat. Your chest shudders and more tears are threatening now.
The mug is removed from your hands and suddenly you feel yourself enveloped by two long arms. Severus pulls you close and you do not resist. Your face lands in the crook of his shoulder, the soft black fabric soaking up your tears. You feel rather than see yourself being wrapped up in his long robes and you smell cloves and cinnamon with every shaking breath.
“It’s alright.” He tells you. You can feel the reverberations of his voice through his chest. “You can let it out now.”
Almost as if responding to his orders you begin to sob, no longer able to hold it in. Severus gently strokes the back of your head as all of the hurt and anger and confusion fall out of you.
“Breathe.” He intones, and you match your breathing to the slow and steady rise and fall of his chest. Eventually you feel able to sit up and he releases his grasp, but his hands remain on your arms as if to support you.
“Now are you going to tell me who I need to murder or shall I just start throwing random curses until I chance upon the correct target?” He smirks.
You let out a shaky laugh and take a deep breath. He hands you back the tea and you take a comforting sip and then begin to tell Severus all about it…

Chapter 4.
Tumblr media
Chapter 5:
After the drama that was Hae Sung giving you a basket of chocolates. The rest of the day was quite boring, the end of the day came. You were happy to be finished with school for the day, now was book club time and you were excited about it.
As you left the class, Hyun Ji linked arms with you. She was excited about the book club meeting. You smiled when Cho Rong and Song Si Woo joined the two of you. You all walked together to the classroom where you held book club meetings. With Hyun Ji turning around to throw insults at Si Woo and him throwing just as many good insults back at her. You and Cho Rong just smiled at these two.
Once you got to the classroom. You opened the door and let everyone, who had been waiting outside in. Letting everyone settle in, you and Cho Rong started to set up the computer to show the compulsory book club powerpoint presentation. As you were waiting for the computer to switch on, you saw Seo Jun enter.
Confused you turned to Cho Rong; he just shrugged his shoulders but before you could question. He turned to focus on the computer and ignored you poking him. Sighing, you went to the table where Seo Jun was sitting with Hyun Ji and Si Woo. The table where you and Cho Rong would also sit.
Seo Jun smirked when he saw you walking towards him, that slightly confused look on your face was hilarious. He really wanted to laugh out loud but, knew that would ruin his bad boy image in front of Hyun Ji and Si Woo. He almost felt embarrassed about laughing in front of these people who didn’t know him all that well, Hyun Ji was his classmate and Si Woo was someone that Cho Rong would consider a close friend, therefore by association Si Woo was a close friend to Seo Jun.
You got close to his seat and looked him up and down then looked at him. Silently you tried to figure out, what Han Seo Jun was doing at your book club meeting. In the last few days that you’d been getting to know Seo Jun. He had never expressed any sort of interest in joining the book club. Hell, this was the guy, who didn’t even know where the school library was.
“Not to be rude, but what are you doing here Seo Jun?” you ask, not looking at him because just as you finished asking him the question. Cho Rong was calling you over to start the speech for the meeting to begin. You waved a hand at Cho Rong, no way you were starting this meeting before finding out what Seo Jun was doing here.
“Well, Cho Rong was worried that Lee Hae Sung would cause trouble, so I’m here and Cho Rong promised to get me food after this” Seo Jun told you calmly. Really, Cho Rong couldn’t have told you, rather than you asking Seo Jun and making a fool of yourself, you could feel the redness on your cheeks and your ears. Ugh, would this cycle of you being embarrassing in front of Han Seo Jun ever end?
You walked to the front of the class and started the presentation. An hour and a half later, the meeting was coming to an end. You smiled as people left. Hyun Ji and Si Woo were helping you and Cho Rong to clean up. Halfway through the meeting, you noticed that Seo Jun had fallen asleep.
This guy’s ability to fall asleep was fascinating, even when the Chocolate basket drama was happening early today, he was asleep. And now, here he was sleeping in the middle of a loud argument between Hyun Ji and Si Woo over Severus Snape. These two were literally shouting over his head as they cleaned. None of their noise was waking him up. It was hilarious to you and Cho Rong.
Hyun Ji and Si Woo left quickly after cleaning. With Hyun Ji dragging Si Woo away. You smiled as they left. They acted like enemies, yet you were well aware of Hyun Ji’s feelings but neither of knew how Si Woo felt about her. You thought with the way he acted that, Si Woo had feelings for Hyun Ji too but, then other times Si Woo was quick to deny any sort of feelings for Hyun Ji. Then again you were here for these two being a bickering couple trope.
Looking around at the now clean room, you went to Seo Jun and crouched by him. At his level, you flicked his hair lightly. This guy had the softest hair you’d ever touched, you wanted to touch his hair again but that was when you saw that Seo Jun’s eyes were open. You looked at Seo Jun in shock and retracted your hand immediately.
“Oh, your awake, good meetings over, time to go home Seo Jun,” you said awkwardly as you fidgeted with your hands and went to get your bag, without another look at Seo Jun or Cho Rong. You left the classroom, unfortunately, you weren’t quick enough. Before you had even left the building, Seo Jun and Cho Rong had joined you, talking loudly about something.
As you were walking you saw Hae Sung waiting at the doors of the school. You sighed and stopped at seeing him. Cho Rong and Seo Jun also stopped, you turned to them and told them to carry on walking. You needed to talk to Hae Sung, at least about the chocolate basket you did. When you would be ready to talk about your friendship, you didn’t know.
Hae Sung walked to you, went to touch your arm. You moved away from him, the last thing you wanted was him dragging you somewhere again. Hae Sung looked upset but put his hands up in an I’m surrendering look, you just stared blankly at him.
“Thanks for talking to me, I’m sorry about the chocolate basket, thought that would help in forgiving me,” Hae Sung said to you. Just hearing that made you angry. This guy really thought bribing you would work. How could he claim to be your best friend and think that with what he said, a chocolate basket would make it better?
“You don’t even truly realise what you’ve done wrong. A chocolate basket was most definitely not going to make me forgive you, Lee Hae Sung, for a guy who is supposed to be my best friend, you should know how I feel about bribing to gain forgiveness” you said trying not to raise your voice. You knew Seo Jun and Cho Rong were probably trying to listen to this conversation, you didn’t want them to hear just how much this was affecting you.
“Well, it worked for Gong Jae Yi, so I thought it would work for me too and if you’d read the note instead of ripping it up, then YN you would’ve forgiven me by now,” Hae Sung said with a smug smile on his face, he knew exactly what your reaction that name would be.
You couldn’t believe what you were hearing. You knew the reaction Hae Sung, wanted from you and you weren’t going to give it to him.
“Okay, first off how dare you bring up Gong Jae Yi into this. He was my ex and nothing he ever said was the same as what you said to me the other day, it would never work for you simply because you don’t even really understand what you did wrong. You thought that chocolate basket and whatever flowery language you used in that note would make me forgive you” You shouted at Hae Sung. You didn’t want to bring this up but he really did not understand.
“You don’t even really feel sorry do you, Lee Hae Sung, because if you did, then a stupid chocolate basket would not have been your solution, you would have waited for me to reach out to you, actually apologise for what you said to me but how could Lee Hae Sung apologise to his best friend. It's not like I’m the one who is always apologising for the tantrums you throw in your class like I had to do today.” You got closer to Hae Sung and poked his chest with your finger.
“I am the one who cleans up the messes you create. Yet the great Lee Hae Sung can’t even say sorry sincerely to his best friend after he hurt her feelings. Oh no, he has to bring up her ex-boyfriend, someone who she loved dearly but sometimes love just isn’t enough, it wasn’t in our case and quite frankly Gong Jae Yi is twice the guy you will ever be.” You screamed at Hae Sung, your voice was most definitely gone after all the screaming you had done. It was worth it though, the look on Hae Sung’s face was magnificent. If you weren’t so angry you would’ve laughed in his face.
You walked away from Hae Sung, at this point you did not care and after this screaming match, you honestly didn’t know if you would ever forgive Hae Sung any time soon. If anything, this confrontation cemented the idea of blocking Hae Sung’s number and blocking him on all social media. You needed a clean break from him, and then maybe after some time you could talk and clear the air.
Seo Jun and Cho Rong stood shocked. They hadn’t moved away or even tried to hide. They wanted Hae Sung to be able to see them, to show him that you had people in your corner. If Hae Sung tried anything, Seo Jun was excited to be able to punch Hae Sung. It had been too long, since Seo Jun had punched someone who angered him, as much as Lee Hae Sung did.
The things that had been revealed in this conversation. Almost made Seo Jun comment, that they should have popcorn to watch this unfold. Finding out that you had an ex-boyfriend, was shocking. When you shouted that at Hae Sung, Seo Jun looked at Cho Rong who just nodded his head. Mouth open at what was happening in front of him.
Neither of them knew what to do. As you walked away, the two boys ran to join up with you. Glaring at Hae Sung as they passed by him.
You felt Seo Jun, and Cho Rong come and walk next to you. You gave them both a small smile. You appreciated that they had stayed, their silent support was more than enough to scream at Hae Sung. Now however you weren’t angry but sad. Hae Sung was your best friend up till this conversation. You’d still thought of him as your best friend, but now you didn’t know if you could even call him a friend.
Seo Jun wanted to make a joke or say something. There was tension in the air, after that conversation. He didn’t like it, you shouldn’t be upset over someone like Lee Hae Sung. He didn’t deserve you caring for him in such a way that your arguments hurt you so much. Seo Jun just wanted to wrap a blanket around you and tell you everything will be okay.
However, before either Seo Jun or Cho Rong could say anything, you dropped your bag. Took off running, towards a man and hugged him, the man in question hugged you and spun you around before putting you down.
“JOOON OPPA, I’ve missed you so much” You cried happily when Joon Oppa put you down, you hugged Mi Soo Unnie as well but still stood next to Joon Oppa. Your sister smiled at you before looking at Joon Oppa.
“What did I tell you at the airport Joon, my yeo dongsaeng misses you more than anything,” Mi Soo said laughing when you tried to hit her, but she hid behind Joon Oppa.
“Yah Unnie, why are you exposing me in front of Joon Oppa like this” you pouted at your sister who laughed and ruffled your hair affectionately.
“I think you exposed yourself YN, with the way you ran and hugged me just now,” Joon Oppa told you, ruffling your hair just like your sister did, You frowned at both of them, before trying to fix your hair.
“Well sorry for missing you Joon Oppa, it feels like it’s been years since I last saw you and I didn’t know you’d be here to pick me up” you complained to both of them. They just smiled at you before shaking their heads. You had talked with Joon Oppa, last night before you went to bed and you knew he was coming back today.
“My fiancé, coming with me to pick you up is my surprise to you, little sister,” Mi Soo said smiling at you, waiting for your reaction to what she had just said.
You nodded your head and then realised what it was your sister said. You looked between Joon Oppa and Mi Soo Unnie in shock, mouth open, eyes wide. Did Mi Soo Unnie really just call Joon Oppa, her fiancé or did you mishear? They both laugh at your shocked face and nod simultaneously. Mi Soo Unnie holds out her hand to show you her engagement ring.
As you are admiring her engagement ring. Your bag drops down next to you, startled you turn to see Cho Rong panting and Seo Jun looking at you annoyed. You smile sheepishly at them and pick up your bag.
“Uh sorry about that guys, I just got excited about seeing Joon Oppa, oh and this is Mi Soo Unnie and Joon Oppa is her fiancé.” You tell Seo Jun and Cho Rong. Pointing at the boys you introduce them to Mi Soo Unnie and Joon Oppa.
“Well since you’re here with YN, we can give you boys a ride home too” Joon Oppa offers Cho Rong and Seo Jun who both shake their heads to decline. You roll your eyes at their attempt to decline.
“Stop trying to get out of this guys, just come along. It doesn’t matter how far away you live. I’ll never hear the end of it from either of these two if you both don’t let us drop you both home” You tell them confidently.
They look at you, at each other then the couple smiling at them before hesitantly nodding your head. You smile widely and drag both Seo Jun and Cho Rong to Joon Oppa’s car, open the doors and practically push the two boys into the car before they can change their mind. Before Mi Soo Unnie gets to the car, you sit in the passenger seat and do your seat belt up as well.
“Aish, this girl really does love you more than anything in the world doesn’t she Joon,” Mi Soo Unnie says when she sees you sitting in the front seat of the car and smiles at the boys behind, who smile and wave awkwardly at her. With Seo Jun patting the space next to him with a shrug of his shoulders.
Joon Oppa just laughs then gets into the car, asks Seo Jun and Cho Rong to tell him their address so he can drop them off first. The car ride is full of you laughing and joking with your Unnie and Oppa. Seo Jun sees a side of you, he doesn’t see in school.
This free and happy version of YN is something he wants to see more of. Silently he vows to himself that, he will try to make you smile and laugh as you are here, you truly look joyful in this car ride with your Unnie and Oppa. A stark contrast from the way you are awkward and shy in school.

Out in a blaze of Glory.
Sirius Black x Reader
Small amount of angst which turns to beautiful fluff.
WARNINGS: panic attack, hinting of past child abuse.
(I do not own these characters and do not support the person who does)
Tumblr media
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I was younger I had no control… I was a constant blaze of misfortune. One blaze in particular got me where I am today, an orphan, murderer at 11 and living with my betrothed, Regulus Black.
~ years later ~
“Watch it will you” yn shouts as her regular frustration if the form of 4 boys ran down the the isles in the great hall, overly excited from what ever mischief they had just been part of.
“Oh lighten up ln it’s Saturday we can afford to have a little fun aight that right boys” James calls out to his friends and simply receives a chorus of ‘mhm’s’ as they towered food onto their plates.
“Like you wait for Saturday to be a disturbance” she mumbled a reply, looking for the familiar grey eyes she so often longs for, completely ignoring James and his explanation of what grand joke they had just played.
Sirius finally looks up at her, while the others are engrossed in their own conversation, mouthing a hello and a small smile than turns back to join Remus in his discussion.
It served yn right she always knew it would be a one time thing, she kicks herself for thinking it would be any different. Making herself sick for putting herself above the others just because of their history. With a quick wipe of her eyes with the back of her hand she lets herself know ‘it was just another conquest leave it at that’ and got up to go about her day.
How stupid she was why would he care any different about her, so what if they had been around each other since they could remember that didn’t make it special.
(All I remember from before Grimmauld Place is static, it’s all a blur. I knew my magic was getting out of hand, the fire that came through as a result was getting bigger and harder to control. My parent they tried their best to control it but it never worked)
“Hey, hello, y/n you there!” Someone call out bringing yn out of her thoughts. Regulus was standing their in front of her just outside the castle and towards an outdoor courtyard, she had been so distracted she hadn’t noticed where she was heading.
“Oh sorry Reg I was just… I don’t know what got over me” yn shrugged as she tried to come up with a reason for her spacing out.
“Alright there ln, don’t want you getting light headed on me, I need you to win the snowball fight remember?”
“Oh you mean your shameless excuse to flirt with… who is these days some bloke in Ravenclaw?”
Regulus starts to direct her back through the castle towards the quidditch pitch with a giant smirk on his face “what else is a fiancé good for”.
(Then one day it was all over. It was gone. All of it. My house. My parents. Everything. I was just left numb, unsure what to do. I was sitting in the snow covered in bruises and scratches, my clothes not even in one piece let alone keeping me warm. Do I call the police? Will I get in trouble? Because of what I did? Because of my magic? Why won’t it just go away! That’s when Orion Black appeared.)
Another day, another breakfast disrupted. This time it was just just James and Sirius causing the noise, Remus and Peter were already sitting, eating.
“You didn’t?” Remus asked more as a warning looking at both the boys in a way that would give any teacher a run for their money.
“Of course we did, why wouldn’t we? You were the very one who told us how to do it my dearest Moony!” Sirius practically sang at his friend with the biggest grin on his face.
It took all of yn self control to not smile along with him, enjoying the little time she gets to be around when he is truly happy. She was just about to ask them what they had done when a huge roar of laughter came from the table.
Standing at the entrance of the great hall was a very sparkly, red and gold Severus Snape. He had such a sullen look and hair practically dripping from the glitter and paint.
“No way you got the showers to change then!” Peter sprung up from his seat trying to get a better look.
“Naturally” Sirius responded flicking his hair back while James flicks his imaginary luscious locks back, “Obviously.”
(Since I was already promised to Regulus the Blacks took me in. All the time Mr and Mrs Black were talking to me about how my life was to be from here on, I was so focused on what my mother had told me about being with Regulus and what my father had shown me what to do with my future husband. I was so terrified if I did something, anything, wrong then they would kick me out. It was Sirius one year my senior who helped put my mind at ease, kindly and responsibly treating me like I belonged there and was wanted there.)
“Hey yn, do you have a minute?” Sirius asks as we walk out towards our next class.
“I guess until we get to potions I’m all ears” not really paying attention, more focused on her breathing and heart rate, keeping them steady and getting frustrated when they wouldn’t get the memo.
“I just figured we should talk about the other night”
“What’s there to talk about Sirius, it happened not much we can do about it now, it doesn’t have to be a big thing it was just a kiss” yn states unsure if she is trying to tell Sirius or convince herself.
“Uh, yeah I guess… it’s just… I don’t know I thought maybe… I don’t know yeah your right. Forget it, yeah?”
“Mhm… that’s what I said…” she breathes out unsure when they got so close, she practically sees her breath touch his face.
“I just wasn’t sure so I thought I would ask” his cocky attitude was coming back she could tell from his smirk, and how he somehow got even closer without her noticing him move , yn was beginning to get light headed.
Just as their lips were about to reach, she kicked herself and turned her face.
“I should really get going now.”
(A few months later my letter came, for Hogwarts! To finally go and get to be free from the fear and burden of my magic, but rather learn how to actually use it. Reg was just as excited, more so to get out and meet more people, to start being able to be something other than the second son of tue noble house of Black. Once we had separated to our own houses it didn’t take long for the murmuring to start. They didn’t think I heard but I did, I was never going to be more than a blaze, an orphan, a murderer and challenge for the many fan girls of the boys of the family black.)
Potions was never yn best class. She could never keep her concentration on the measurements, getting lost in almost every other thing. The smells of the all the bubbling potions, most at different stages of completion. The bright personality and wardrobe of her professor. Or the general chit chat of her partner. Her partner who happened to be off sick for the rest of the week, so Slughorn had quickly provided her with a substitute in the form of the one an only Sirius Black. Oh yes concentrations was simply out of the question for this particular class.
The class was easy enough, a potion for curing hives and spots. But all she could focus on was the light buzzing coming from every part of the class room. Many an evil eye was focused on her and her partner also.
‘We must have been spotted! Someone must have seen or heard us.’ Was the only thought going through her head.
“You ok? You’ve been on that last step for a while now,” Sirius pokes at her trying to get her attention.
“Hmm sorry yes the roots need to be cut then…” she couldn’t remember the next part and the sentence she had just read seemed to have run of the page.
“…strewed,” Sirius filled in. He took a second to have a look at what could possibly be distracting you. A lot of heads turned down quickly flicking their pages, not confident enough to face him.
“Hey, don’t listen to them, they don’t know what they are on about,” he gently whispers to you, putting his hand on yn’s thigh.
Yn suddenly jumps at this staring directly at the front of the classroom, unsure what had just happened to make her act so.
“Everything alright Miss ln?” Slughorn gently asked her, as a disruption coming from her was very unusual. When she didn’t answer he tried again.
“Do you wished to be excused?”
“Yes sir, thank you sir” yn finally found her voice, lowing herself to not get in the way of her professor as she rushed out of the room.
It was only a short stride to the nearest toilets but once she got there she felt as if she had just run the whole distance of the castle. She could catch her breath. It was all to much and yet she couldn’t work out why. The voices kept flooding her head and no amount of shaking her head could get them to go away.
“You know she killed her parents right?”
“Why would they want her?”
“She must be using them, how else would she be here!”
“If I was her I would just kill myself, be better for the rest of us.”
“Who does she think she is, cheating of Regulus like that! I could be so much better for him!”
“And with Sirius too, she must be such a slut.”
“JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!” yn screamed at herself wanting it to just stop, just for a second at least while she caught her breath. She turned to look at her reflection, tears running down her face and hair a mess from when she had been grabbing at it, and she just couldn’t get herself to control her breathing.
“Woah ok thought I would just come and check on you,” Comes a joking voice from the entrance of the bathroom. There stood Sirius with his usually charming self but this time with a hint of concern.
All yn could do was look at him, not even having the energy to tell him to shove off. She was so sure there was simply not enough air getting to her.
“Hey, hey, hey it’s ok. What’s going on?” Sirius now says being able to fully see how much of a state yn was in.
“I can’t breathe, I can’t get the voices to go away, I can’t, I just can’t” her voice was getting weaker with every word. She was tired and unable to keep herself up, slumping down against the wall.
“Ok,” Sirius starts, holding on to her hands but still keeping a measurable distance. “Watch me, ready big breath, fill your lungs, ok now push it out.” She tried her best to follow what he was saying getting little breathes coming.
“Good, good try another one, you can do it! I’m right here to help,”He continued. Eventually yn was able to get her breathing to control back to being normal and still focusing on her deep breathing.
“Are you alright now?” he asked her, yn nodded still to shaken to use her words.
“Can I hug you?” She quickly shakes her head. She’s not sure what had set the whole thing off but was willing to gamble her recovery with starting that up again.
“Ok that’s alright, I want to help, whatever you need”
“Thank you… Sirius… but you don’t have too, I’ve taken too much of your time already.” She tells him with a shaky voice.
“It’s was just too much, the whispering, the class, you so close” she started to explain.
“You don’t have to explain yourself too me yn,” Sirius suggested noticing the grimace on her face as she spoke.
“Thank you”
(The first night I spent at Grimmauld Place, had been very quiet. It’s like we were all too afraid to speak to each other. But I went and found Regulus.
“Hi,” I whispered to him sheepishly.
“Hello ln” was his reply and then he simply went back to reading his book, not giving her any attention.
“When do we go to bed here?” I had asked him.
“No set time. 10 is probably best though.” It was simple, short answers. But glancing at the clock that read half past 9 I thought I had ought to get ready and left the room without another word.)
“Thank you,” yn said again beginning to feel the tears roll down her face again, but not as fiercely as before.
“It’s no problem,” he reach over to wipe her tears away, only doing so when he saw that she did not flinch away from him.
“You know I kinda… kinda care about you and all, I mean just like I do all my friends.. but you especially… so yeah just wanted to help you,” Sirius rambles as heat rises in his face not able to quite look her in the eyes.
“Hmm, I guess I care about you as well,” yn giggles slightly finding herself more herself after seeing a humbled Sirius Black before her.
“But… um… kinda more than friends do I guess,” she continues, taking every last bit of energy and bravery she has left to look at him straight on.
Sirius simply smiles at the floor in front of him, giant grin from ear to ear. A small whisper of a voice comes from him.
“Can I come closer to you?” He asks again.
“Yes” yn whispers just as softly back, just as he begins to move forward only centre meters from each other, knees almost touching.
“Closer,” she whispers again.
“How about here?” He asks now kneeling in front of her, causing him to learn over her slightly while gently holding her face.
“Mhm, you can go even closer if you wish,” yn barely speaks the voice ever so gently reaching his ears as he finally lowers his face to reach her own and gives her the most gentle of kissing, still worrying about hurting her. As she meets him in the middle, reciprocating his movements, they become more passionate and heated.
They unfortunately need to seperate for air eventually. They look at each other as if they are the very air they need to breathe. Sirius leans in to give her a kiss on her forehead, then her nose and back down to her lips, quickly coming back up.
“We should head back, Slughorn will begin to wonder where we are or what we are doing”
“We can’t have that now can we,” she smiles back at him.
AN:// this is the first thing I have ever written. It just based around the fics I so enjoy to read.
(Student y/n x snape) she is snapes fav student and they have friend like bond yns family forces her to marry and snape gives advice. Don't feel yourself presured just an idea
This literally took me way too long to get to and you probably won't see this anon but I love you thank you for your request.
Y/N had always been an attentive and obedient student in class, earning the favor of one Professor Snape.
During her younger years, he watched over her like a father, always making sure she never got herself into trouble.
That proved harder to accomplish as she got older and boys began to complicate things.
As any good father figure, Severus had always secretly wished her well when it came to her personal life, he always hoped she would find someone who would appreciate her and take care of her and be present for her.
During her seventh year, their bond became less familial and more friendly and Severus went out of his way to treat her like an equal in class.
When she graduated, he didn't expect to see her again, but he hoped she would be well off.
Over the summer that year, Severus received a letter from Y/N saying her parents were forcing her to marry one of their friend's sons, a union that would secure she would be financially well off but never happy.
Severus hated inviting people to his home, but he did so for her.
When she arrived he offered her tea and a warm blanket, opening all the curtains and windows to let sun in.
He even offered to brew her a calming draught.
Y/N cried on his sofa for what felt like hours and he very patiently listened and watched until he deemed it his turn to speak.
"Perhaps there is a way out of this. There is nothing legally binding you to obey your parents, if it's money you need I will help."
Severus didn't have much. He had grown up in poverty and a teacher's salary barely covered his own living expenses, but he would help her no matter what it cost.
"And perhaps if you need a place to stay, I can help you search for a new home."
When Y/N told him she didn't even have a dime to her name, his heart broke.
"Then perhaps you could stay here with me, just until you get on your feet and away from your current situation."
