Dogs, dogs and more dogs- 141
Tumblr media
This is based on a request:
Hi! Can I request if tf141 with Fem! Reade who has a lot more than 4 of German shepherds. The men’s ask her why she has a lot til she answered “Because… they’re my family. They’re all I have left.” She explain She found them in the forest when she was younger and the dogs were puppies. Her family died from car accident. The men’s were so sad hearing her explanation and hug her.
F!Reader, fluff?, Platonic!Relationship
From the minute the men of the task force met you, you had at least one dog around you. Buddy, Ghoul, Beelz, and Cane. They had become the only thing in this world that saved you from what could've been your demise. The men never understood why you were so attached to those dogs. Always petting them, babying them and at times they'd sleep in your bed.
You had become a dog handler for the military, always been deployed with your dog. A year into your service, your first dog ever, Rocky, had passed away, he defended your comrades from an enemy soldier. Took you two months to even decided to work with another dog. And one faithful night, there they were, 4 month old puppies, cold, scared and alone.
Buddy was the first one to accomplish his training, he was specifically trained to detect explosives. He and Soap got along very well, soap helped you at time to keep Buddy in check, always hiding an explosive so he can find it. His name was given after you accidentally kept calling him that name. It was cute and simple, but he was fierce and a devil on the field.
Ghoul, was your second to accomplish his training. He was fast, always willing to jump to anything you told him to. He was trained to search and rescue. The soldiers on base loved him, because on the field he was scary, but once back at base, he was the sweetest and calmest of your dogs. It was funny yet it made sense when the dog got attached to Ghost. One time Ghoul took his dog bed to the front of Ghost's quarters and office door. Now if Ghost is somewhere and you haven't seen Ghoul, just look for Ghost and he'll be there too.
Beelz was your favourite, she was so soft to the touch and so amazing on the field. Her speciality was patrolling and attacking. Something a poor rookie found out one day. She was attached to you, mainly because her brothers were so tough to play with and you gave her spa days. On base if a soldier who had a sneaked out and was coming back to base late at night, they wouldn't fear the actual guards at gate, but they feared Beelz. She would growl and make a mental note to tell on the soldier to either you or Price.
Cane was the beast of them all. He was a smart dog, so the military training him in detection of explosives and search and rescue. He was the serious of them all. Had a whole grumpy personality, silent, sleepy when off duty and the most hard working one of them all. At times you thought he was the dog version of Ghost and Gaz. But he never got along with them, just you. If Belz wasn't around and it was you in your room alone, Cane would be there, letting himself get pampered. But that was only with you. At times, Gaz or Ghost, deepening who won that argument, would run around base with Cane.
One afternoon when the dogs had the day off, you had found yourself in the common room, surrounded by them all. You were all watching a motorsports event. Buddy resting his head on your stomach, Beelz by your side, Ghoul on your other side and Cane by your feet. The men of the task force walked in, saw the image of your dogs and you. The second Ghoul picked up the scent of the lieutenant, he got up and walked to him.
Soap took Ghoul's seat, "Hi, bonnie" he rests his head on your shoulder, taking the remote from you and turning the volume up. You hummed a hello.
Price sat on the other end, "I never asked," he spoke up, making Soap and you turn to him, "why have all these dogs?" he wasn't asking to be rude but out of genuine curiosity. You sighed, looking from Buddy to him, "They are my family," Soap nudges your side with his elbow, "apart from you all, of course." you looked back to the screen. "what'd you mean?" Gaz sat on the other sofa. "A few years ago, I found them in a box, left on the side of the road, my parents and sibling were killed in a car accident, I was going back to their house after the funeral when a puppy by the name of Cane made me stop."
The image was still here.
Cane was the protector of his siblings. He figured if the cars passed slower because of the deers that maybe they'd stop for him on the road. So he stood there until some car would stop. You had just say your final goodbye at the funeral, feeling numb and sick. You saw a figure standing on the road, small but it wasn't moving, your car stopped, got off the car and met Cane. He went to you, he barked and bit the sleeve of your arm, guiding you to the other three pups. In a dirty and dented box three puppies laid there, trying to keep the girl warm. You looked at Cane and then at his siblings, "Don't worry," you picked the box up, put it in the back seat and then picked Cane up. He sat on the passenger seat.
You sigh as you retell the story, "then it was us five and now it's us and you guys." you look up, Soap snuggling to your side, wiping his own tears away. Gaz sitting closer now, a small smile on him, Beelz had found way to him. Price gave you a nod, understanding what they meant to you now. Ghost , Ghoul and Cane all staring at you, funny enough, Ghost was making his adorable puppy eyes. You smile at the image forming in front of you, your own family. It wasn't just the girl and her German shepherds, it was the girl and her favourite beings in this world. The dogs and your men, what more could there ever be.
A/N: this was requested a while back, so apologies if it was barely made.

are you up for doing more of those lore tidbits... I would love to see some for beach polycule, lightningtail, moo, rustbee, bristleheart, sagespeckle, patchback, broccoli, and ravenshade!!!!!
-🦝
sure! i love doing the lore tidbits tbh, i think i should do them more often
-Sandsnap sometimes misses Cricketclan, but he doesn't regret his decision to leave. He was found there as a kit and taken in, but throughout his kithood and apprenticeship he never really felt at home. He had friends, but nobody he was especially close with, so when he started his new life in Fallenclan he was almost always very chipper, just because he was so glad to feel like he fit in. Some of the other apprentices would rib on him for making them look bad next to him.
-Juniperfoot and Myrtleclaw first met when Myrtleclaw joined the clan with his injured tail. Juniper also had an injured tail at the time, so they were both in the medicine den together. They weren't allowed to go out training or hunting until the wounds had closed, so they spent a few days talking to mostly just each other, realizing how much they had in common and how well they got along. Juniper spent a lot of their conversations talking about Sandsnap (Sandpaw, at the time) so Myrtle was very excited to meet him. The three became a trio almost immediately.
-Lightningtail is very close with her kids, but was closest to Lionsong. She had nightmares for months after he died. It took her a long time to come out of her shell again, but when she did, she became fast friends with Mothspots and Crowflame, and remains so to this day.
-Moo is a shameless flirt, but he does it entirely as a joke. As soon as someone takes it seriously or starts flirting back, he gets flustered. The cat that does it the most is Skyfrost.
-Rustbee has had dreams from Starclan since he was a kit. Mostly warnings--Starclan knew that the Archclan camp was going to burn down, and that he would die if he stayed. He mostly ignored them until the last minute, which ended up saving his life. He doesn't have the dreams very often any more, and when he does, he usually dismisses them as his imagination.
-Bristleheart has a lot of ambition, but not for himself--instead, he has it for his daughters, Quailcall and Nightgleam. He loves them both dearly, but often urges Nightgleam to try for the position of deputy, which she isn't interested in but pretends to be for her father's sake.
-Sagespeckle doesn't believe in Starclan. The only other cats he's told are Bristleheart (who doesn't care either way) and Antbite, who promised not to say anything, since he knows word would get to the other clans and Sagespeckle could lose his position as medicine cat.
-Patchback was kicked out of Antlerclan for attacking a clanmate.
-Broccoli, having grown up with twolegs, can speak dog. During the battle when the hounds flooded the camp, he was out on patrol. He can't help but wonder if there was something he could have done.
-Ravenshade is extremely protective of his mother and littermate, especially since Gyoza died. There are very few lengths he wouldn't go to in order to keep them safe and happy, but sometimes he's blinded by this loyalty, and will do things they don't want him to for (what he perceives is) their own good.

You can already see how well-knit this Circle is before they even hit the break, but you can tell their bonds go so much deeper by the end of the first episode.
Presumably Nathaniel Trapp's the newest official inductee to Candela, right? Allison saved him a couple months back. But he also served in the war with Sean Finnerty and Marion Collodi.
Sean and Marion seem to have known each other prior to the war, possibly childhood friends.
Beatrix Monroe is a widow. She's been with Candela the longest, and presumably her husband's death led her to the organization.
Sean enlisted illegally around age 16 or 17 to serve in the war.
All the members experienced eldritch weirdness over the course of the war.
Dr. Jinnah "Jean" Basar began as a field medic and her father may also have been a doctor.
At least two of Sean's brothers died during the war but he did not know until later. He was part of the NOMAD Ghost Patrol unit and is haunted by the work he did. He hadn't seen Marion in over a year around this time.
Bea visited VA hospitals - volunteer work seems likely but there might be more. Details of husband are scant.
Marion and Sean were part of Echo Company during the war. Marion's abilities as a medium activated to save Sean's life.
In the Red Lamp district, Bea and Jean examined a woman under anaesthesia whose body had been affected in an unnatural manner.
Auntie Bea made a promise to Sean's mother that she would protect him. Unclear if pre- or post-war.
Nathaniel investigated his family's transit line because of his job, not because of family responsibility. He might be estranged from his family because 1) blames himself for the death of his older brother who was the golden child and the heir and 2) he didn't fill his late brother's shoes by assuming an heir role. It remains to be seen whether this was a decision he made early on or if his experience in the war determined this.
Jean has been doing work for both Candela and EONS, though it seems that the EONS work may not have been fully of her own will, given their propensity for hostages (evident at both the start and end of the episode).
Marisha mentions a joke returning "a decade later" when the peeing and squid dogs thing comes up. That passage of time is similarly backed up when Brennan talks about Sean's age.
Marion admires Dr. Jean Basar. She shares (to some extent) an ability to sense the supernatural, but not in the same manner.

I've gotta know, where does Heathertail fall into the rewrite? She's one of my favorite side characters, I find it so funny she was friends with Lionblaze and then went to date his messed up half brother. She feels like an 'I can fix him' kind of girl and I love that for her. Also, obviously, the drama she could have had about Darktail and Onestar, which could have been very interesting family drama. And, speaking of that, Whitetail isn't Onestat's apprentice anymore, right? If she's even still Heathertail's mother.
Tumblr media
[ID: Halfbody sketch of Heathertail from Warrior Cats. She has a long face, purple eyes, and one long whisker. She's a pale ginger with sandy ears, muzzle, and legs with brown stripes. She's glaring at something off-screen.]
Heather has a VERY expanded role in this rewrite. I'm VERY normal about kids with complicated relationships to their dads.
FIRST THINGS FIRST;
She's a bit of a rebel, but not completely disloyal either. She marches to the beat of her own drum, but stays in-tune with the band, y'know?
If she feels like she's got a good reason for doing something you can't stop her.
Heathertail's Clanmew name is Wishswash-- "Bell Heather Tail".
Contrast to Heatherstar's Clanmew name, Ssinbshai-- "Common Heather Tail"
Onestar's new reduxed parentage is Cloudrunner x Larksplash.
He was named Onekit because he is the only survivor of his birth. His siblings were stillborn and his mother died in the process. It's a hard word to translate; "Ul-arra" means One, but also a whole fraction, and loneliness.
I like the idea that Heathertail looks ginger in some lights, especially as she grows older and her pelt brightens. Like Firestar, or Brushblaze is flashing through her, somehow. A haunting for Onestar.
Onestar's apprentice was Runningbrook, who traumatically dies young in TNP.
Whitetail was not Onestar's apprentice nor was she even his mate; Heathertail was the result of an Honor Siring.
Whitetail wanted kittens and decided to ask the leader of the Clan. Onestar requested co-parenting.
There was no Galekit, Heathertail was from a single-kit litter.
(because im saving galekit for someone else's litter)
Heatherpaw in Po3
Since Bonefall Po3 is episodic and worldbuilding-focused, Heatherpaw is able to feature in a bunch of individual conflicts
She is meeting HOLLY in the tunnels this time around, not Lion
They catch feelings for each other, but Heather isn't as ready to ride as Holly is.
Pressure from her father as tensions between Thunder and Wind grow, Holly's growing investment in their relationship, and eventually the kittens getting lost following her, Heather breaks it off and stops seeing Holly.
When Sedge reveals the secret tunnels to Onestar, Heather was EXTREMELY uncomfortable that One immediately started planning to use it to attack ThunderClan
he was one of Breezepaw's friends who joined him on his dog-patrol, and feels bad he got in the most trouble when they were all part of the bad idea
She starts to develop a growing resentment for her father. He's unfair, he wants conflict when there doesn't need to be any, it's upsetting.
She does NOT join the Dark Forest though. She IS approached, but knows right away that this is bad news
Breezepelt's growing radicalization along with her old friends is concerning, but she doesn't know what to do without snitching
Yeah this is bad, but IMAGINE telling dad about this and seeing him do something drastic. She doesn't trust either side.
Onestar's not always the worst but she also doesn't feel like he reliably makes good choices.
Unlike canon, she is not a Breezepelt Stan after OotS. She doesn't trust him, for good reason. However, she is more sympathetic to his conspirators. Especially Sunstrike, who was so badly wounded in the battle that exiling her could have been a death sentence.
Heathertail in AVoS
She is a main character in AVoS this time around.
Her narrative use is to be the inside voice of WindClan. She's there to see how Onestar grows increasingly paranoid, and to point out his cruelty as he refuses to aid ShadowClan, and how this eventually leads to Darktail assuming control of it.
This is important because The Kin starts as a small problem. The point here is that the fall of ShadowClan could have been avoided if pigheaded Clan isolationism hadn't gotten in the way.
This directly leads to the Law of the Lake at the end of this arc-- that all Clans have a responsibility to preserve the others.
But, back to the story
The first members of WindClan who join the Kin are Known Halfclans and Dark Forest trainees. Cats who feel ostracized. Breezepelt is the very first, Sedgewhisker probably joins next.
(Adding a bit of depth to Sedge by saying that Gorsetail fumbled her secret and spilled the beans about Beechfur)
That causes the treatment of the deputy Harespring, the elder Sunstrike, and her mate Furzepelt to get worse, though they keep trying to prove their loyalty at first.
ONESTAR is not the one who makes his confession. Darktail pushes him and pushes him, trying to goad him into admitting it, finally revealing his pedigree after a point I haven't worked out yet.
And it's at this point he recruits Heathertail directly.
Heathertail joins The Kin, wanting to know more, and to hear out the other side of her father's legacy
Unfortunately, this was a trap. Darktail wants to hurt Onestar and the minute he feels Heathertail 'betrays' him in some way, she's in the same boat
She rekindles her friendship with Breezepelt in the meanwhile
Dark keeps Heather around for a while until some minor infraction pops up, and he uses this to execute her and a bunch of others (probably talking to cats outside of The Kin, maybe even Onestar himself and Darktail says this is spying)
And this becomes the moment where Breezepelt makes his dramatic turn.
"Execution? But, you said... you said you only wanted to show her the truth, not hurt her??"
"This is our truth. Breezepelt, you understand it better than anyone-- you want to bring the same pain to your own father as I'm about to do to my treacherous blood-kin."
Breeze has a moment here, realizing that he DOESN'T want to be Darktail and Heathertail doesn't deserve this
He has more to work through but right now those are the two major things
Heathertail escapes with several others including Breezepelt, back to WindClan.
After this, she's a huge proponent for SkyClan's inclusion at the lake. She is probably a major reason why the Law of the Lake is passed, cutting through general fear and xenophobia to remind everyone that The Kin never would have gotten as big as it did if the Clans had not allowed ShadowClan to falter.
The Clans need some good peppering of characters who make reasonable, diplomatic arbiters who are good at public speaking. That's how I'm seeing Heather.

Have you played Clangen and if so what do you think :)
I love Clangen! I have a personal clan that I’ve played for a long time now that is approaching 22 years old in game! I’m very attached to some of the little guys there.
With the new update, I’ve been wanting to try a new one. I’ve considered a side blog, but I don’t know lol
It’s a fun game though! Here are some of my favorite babies and a bit about them from my personal playthrough, FernClan.
Tumblr media
This is Lionpoppy! She's a warrior turned medicine cat. She was the quiet and polite one of her siblings, rather average by nature and not standing out. She fell in love with the rather popular, outgoing, and handsome Clearspring though. They talked about having a family, but unfortunately Clearspring drowned saving his apprentice Coniferpaw from the flood. Lionpoppy was devastated.
However, she had always been blessed and comforted by the stars. Her clan needed her during these difficult times, and she became a medicine cat. A few moons later, Clearspring visited her in a dream, whispering of the hollows on he outskirts of their territory. When Lionpoppy went there upon waking up, she found three abandoned kits - Sunnykit, Primrosekit, and Ospreykit. She believed this was a blessing from Clearspring, and these kits were the family they never got to have together.
She died recently from greencough and I was sad. Her kits all grew up though! Primerosethroat was very cold and aggressive, and sadly he died rather young to a pack of rogues. Sunnystreak was captured by twolegs as a young warrior, but returned later alongside her two kits Curlkit and Cloverkit (Curlkit became Curlspot, who trained under Lionpoppy :) ). Ospreyshade is a sassy spitfire who is still going strong today.
Tumblr media
Squirrelclaw was a bloodthirsty little guy growing up and was the secret lovechild of the medicine cat Deerbracken and warrior Shortmouse. They had 5 kits! Squirrelclaw was always getting into fights and got pretty scarred up growing up. He's definitely the patrol guy, but is very soft towards his mate Brownnut. He had a hard time when his mother Shortmouse abandoned him and his siblings as apprentices to be a kittypet.
Him and Brownnut also had 5 kits. Runs in the family. He's the father of Lionpoppy actually! His son Mottledflood is a weirdo elder still, and his daughter Burdockgoose murdered the mediator because she thought she was being far too nice to the other clans. She's in the Dark Forest now. Squirrelclaw lost his eye from a dog mauling.
Tumblr media
Beaverkite my beloved. He was Clearspring's dad. Beaverkite was an orphaned kit FernClan took in, always working hard to prove himself and earn his place. His heart always belonged to Archheart, but he was in a love triangle with Pondleap, a former loner and mother of Brownnut. He didn't do anything amazing, but he just had some of the best interactions and relationships. He's also probably the plainest cat I've ever had appearance wise.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Putting these two together. Creekstripe is very strict and always following rules, kinda standoffish. Bluepond is ditzy, curious, always wandering off. Bluepond disappears for days at a time and Creekstripe has just learned to sigh and not worry. They're complete opposites but love each other very much. Bluepond was captured by twolegs as an apprentice due to her curious nature, and Creekpaw was captured shortly after, so I imagined he left to go and save her. And they both returned too! Creekstripe lost his eye from a rabbit scratching it - nothing crazy cool.
They've had... a lot of kits. Nine in total. Five are still alive. They both retired together, but Creekstripe was murdered by Gustbrook, and Bluepond died of old age not too long after.
Tumblr media
Lowclaw was my first evil Dark Forest cat. She was a fierce and strong cat who wanted to be the perfect warrior and have the "perfect life". She wished to be leader, have a mate at her side, kits, and do everything she was ever taught from a young age. She takes this to the absolute limit though as she discards anyone in her way without care.
The one cat she was romantically interested in, Fringeswipe, was in love with another cat. So she got rid of the other cat. Problem solved! She wanted to be leader someday, but wasn't deputy... So she got rid of the deputy. Problem solved! Oh shoot Lowclaw can't have children. Guess she'll go murder a loner and steal hers. Problem solved! Cicadastar has only one life left. Guess we better get rid of that!
Unfortunately for Lowclaw, she was struck down by the leader, unable to complete that last checkmark for the "perfect life".

Who’s the two cats in your banner? the art is so pretty !
those are some of my older warrior ocs, goldenstar (yellow) and her husband lichenshadow!
Tumblr media
it was a commission from deviantArt user dearmary from about 3 years ago! i care about these two a lot but their story got kinda stagnant and i didn't really like how it was turning out, but i conveniently created the mojave clans just at that moment so i haven't really done anything with them in a while, nor do i have any real drive to.
i told their story mainly through youtube so >here's a playlist< with all of her +her supporting cast. their clans live below the peak of mt st helens, an active volcano near where i live in WA state which famously erupted in the 80s, collapsing in on itself. and when i say erupted, i'm serious. look. the whole damn mountain esploded.
Tumblr media
their initial setting before even getting to goldenstar and her buddies is honestly one of my favorites that ive done, and it's really long so i'm gonna put it under a readmore. but the basics of the actual plot is that there are two cats destined to destroy each other or save each other (and their respective clans). these cats are morningglow of cedarclan and duskfang of willowclan. they are lovers, but duskfang dreams of power and revenge for being ostracized by her clan and it scares morningglow so she leaves her. morningglow was born weak with birth defects, and she takes a mate, a shut-in named Stormpelt. she gets pregnant and sadly her heart gives out and she dies. the prophecy passes on to Stormpelt, but like i stated he's a shut in, especially after the death of morningglow. he's a grumpy senior warrior, should have retired at this point but he refuses, and his leader gives him one last apprentice; a little timid lady named goldenpaw. just before she becomes a warrior, stormpelt is called away to guide the medicine cat apprentice on his apprentice quest, and goldenpaw sneakily follows them. she's found after a day, and then joins the party. near the end of the journey, she is almost killed by a dog that leaves her scarred, but stormpelt jumps in assisted by his brother's spirit and fends it off. he dies from bloodloss. the prophecy passes on to goldenpaw. bloodied, half blinded, she steels herself and helps guide russetpaw, the med cat apprentice, on the remainder of his quest. they return successful. she is closed off, cold, hard and miserable, and a lot of the story is about her learning to love again and open up. eventually she becomes deputy, starts havign an affair with a willowclan warrior, and then her leader beetlestar is killed suddenly and tragically in a rockslide, and she becomes leader very young.
and circling back, here's the setting!!! i genuinely really like the setting but like i said, it's really long. anywayyyyy
-in the 70s there are just two well established clans, willowclan and cedarclan. they're located in the forest on the mountain, which is no where near the peak (mt st helens is a glacial mountain and active volcano so its too cold and dangerous) and anyway other than the occasional flash flood in the spring and sometimes bears or cougars wandering through, the 2 clans are just fine. they get along for the most part because they both have tons of territory, they meet monthly for gatherings like normal, everything is cool.
-in the winter of '79 something happens to the clans. not physically, but every cat in both clans suddenly get dizzy with vertigo randomly, and everyone has a feeling of unease. Starclan doesn't offer much help (they are watchers like in TPB) but tell the medicine cats to send out a patrol towards the south, and are told to keep walking south until greenleaf. 2 cats from each clan are taught basic herb skills, and then set out. -(This feeling of unease is the way that animals can "sense" natural disasters) -may 18, 1980. mt st helens blows its complete top, sending a column of ash 15 miles straight into the air. an eathquake caused the whole north side of the mountain to collapse, causing the largest landside in recorded history and sending a mix of pyroclastic ash and lava down the mountainside towards the lake where the clans resided. no one survived. in the following days, the smoke and ash from the initial blast and residual explosions spread east into 11 states and 2 Providences.
Tumblr media
-however, the 4 clan cats on their journey were far enough away that they were safe, but they could see the effects of the blast from their current place in oregon, until the sky became too dark
-they made the decision to turn back, and a few months later returned to a wasteland of ash that was completely uninhabitable. the cities nearby were disgusting with ashy mud, and those who survived the heavy ash clouds now had permanent breathing issues among other health problems. the 4 clan cats kept to the furthest reaches of the twolegplace as they could, and stayed in a group for about a year living as loners. eventually, a cedarclan cat (goldenfang) and a willowclan cat (duskfoot) had a litter of kittens together and the group had to decide if they were gonna stay as clan cats or separate and try to go their own way
-the mountain was uninhabitable for the first year or so at least, but come next spring life began again. there was a lot of human attempts at clearing away ash in small areas to plant new trees and stuff, but eventually plants grew again, trees rose and animals returned. goldenfang and duskfoot had stayed together with their 4 kids, but the two other clan cats had left to become kittypets. after 2.5 years living alone with their little family, they decided it was time to make the trek up the mountain to see what remained of their old home.
-(this is where the fantasy begins because it took like 15 years for shit to actually start being fixed enough to sustain an ecosystem lol) the clan cats found that their home was still recognizable, but destroyed. the beautiful lake that they lived around has turned to a sludgy, ashy marsh with very little clear glacial water flowing from the mountain. there were some areas of the territory that had lost all trees and vegetation entirely, but some still had enough cover for protection. surprisingly, prey was easy enough to find, and they were able to hunt birds and mice and stay healthy. the adults who had a little herb knowledge were able to "farm" the few herbs that remained, and after the summer rainfalls, a majority of the ash had started to wash away and the forest came alive again.
-for the first time since leaving the for the journey 3 years ago, the 4 clan cats felt safe. in their dreams they were visited by a few scattered starclan members, who gave them advice and tips. the adults sent 2 of their kids back down the mountain to gather up some non-clan cats who may have been interested in new promising territory and communal living. they returned with a surprising amount of cats, about 10-15 or so, and goldenfang and duskfoot began teaching the warrior way again.
-about a year later, the two former clan cats who had left to become pets returned as well, and each had a few friends in tow.
-about 5 years after the initial blast, duskfoot and goldenfang got a shared vision: they needed to climb the mountain alone and find a way to share tongues with starclan. they left the clan in the paws of the two other original party members, and left together. for several months they searched until a shooting star lit up the way to a small tunnel. they entered and climbed a long tunnel for a full day and night, and when they emerged, they were in a large cavern up to their knees with water that was filled with stars.
-this cavern was named the Star cavern, and the tunnel to it was named the star stairs. the few starclan cats that remained spoke to the couple, and gave them 9 lives each, and told them it was time to return to their original clans. this was upsetting to both cuz they were mates, but they decided it was for the best, and that they would be too focused on rebuilding anyway to bother with clan v clan issues. they promised to love each other again in starclan, but for the time being would split up. returning to their group, they took 2 kids each (WILLINGLY, this is not a moth flight scenario), and split up the pack.
-eventually, another gang of cats would pass through and join them on the mountainside under the name MapleClan. the leader of the group was eager to join their community and starclan and the established clans welcomed them. then, after some inner turmoil , cats who had issues with the initial re-seperation of willow and cedarclan split off and became Birchclan. each of the 4 kids eventually became an established medicine cat, taught by starclan in their dreams (and they evened out so there was 1 in each clan) and then clan life was relatively back to normal.
-goldenstar and duskstar passed on and became the unofficial leaders of starclan, but upon arriving realized that their problems weren't over: the initial blast permakilled hundreds of ghosts, and many double died due to being forgotten, but the "surviving" cats were blasted away by the power of the explosion and didnt know how to come home. so for the past 30 years, its been tradition for the medicine cat apprentice to go on a journey accompanied by 1 warrior to go out and find a ghost and lead it home. this is the journey Russetpaw and Stormpelt embark on, and that goldenpaw invites herself along which ends up leading to her trauma and storm's death.

Sneak peek
I'm working on my next hackearney fic, and while I still have several months of writing ahead of me, I can share a short sneak peek with you. No beta, but very mysterious. ;)
Laura comes to North Kill for a grad school research project. Travis is a supernatural entity (kinda?) that pretends to be a sheriff when he encounters people in the woods. The actual sheriff is in on it; here, Laura comes to see him after a brush with a very human danger.
...Laura kinda hoped she was gonna need an appointment or something—to turn tail and come back later. But the receptionist nods at her after saying Laura’s name into a dated office phone’s receiver and stands up to show her the way, as if getting lost between unoccupied desks was a real possibility. It says Sheriff H. Hunnem right there on the frosted glass door.
She knows instantly this isn’t him. While technically she could be looking for a deputy, her gut has been telling Laura she needs the sheriff, and she’s been… bracing, almost, for coming face to face with him. Why, Laura cannot say—not that it matters at the moment.
Sheriff Hunnem is a stocky, older man—probably well into his seventies—with light eyes and drooping gray mustache tinged yellow from nicotine. And he is not the cop who saved her.
“Miss Kearney,” he grouches, rustling through a stack of paper next to his elbow. Finding a dog-eared sheet, the sheriff squints at it. “You left a message about setting up cameras in Hackett Woods, that right? Thought one of my deputies would’ve gotten back to you about that by now.”
“He did, yes.” Feeling like an intruder now that she realized her mistake, Laura perches on a bare wooden chair in front of Sheriff Hunnem’s desk. “That’s not why I’m here, sir.”
“Oh?” Folding the sheet of paper, he places it to the side and directs her a questioning look. “Well then, how may I help you, Miss Kearney?”
“It’s about the man who died. In the, uh, red truck?” Laura shifts uncomfortably under the sheriff’s weary gaze. “There was an article in the North Kill Gazette….”
“That’d be Andrew Mayfield,” he nods. “Nasty fella—over and done with, thankfully, but if you have something to report—”
“I believe—” Breath catches in Laura’s throat, and she has to curl her fingers into fists to mask the sudden tremor. “I believe he intended to attack me yesterday, on Route 919. But he didn’t because there was a, an officer on, I guess, on patrol?” She inhales sharply through her mouth. “I just— I wanted to….”
Leaning forward, Sheriff Hunnem presses a button on his desk phone. “Rosie, bring Miss Kearney some water, will ya? Got a bit of a situation here.”
A minute later the receptionist appears with a full plastic cup and too sympathetic look of someone aching for fresh gossip. Laura thanks her with barely any voice coming out. She drinks the offered water in small, controlled sips, wildly embarrassed at how over the top a reaction she had, considering that nothing happened to her. As far as she’s aware.
Once it’s just the two of them and Laura has calmed down, the sheriff speaks again. “Miss Kearney… I won’t press you for details right now. However, what I can tell you is that none of my guys came across that Mayfield bastard yesterday. So, either your guardian angel wears a uniform, or that officer of yours simply happened to pass through the county. 919 connects two major highways. We get a lot of strangers here,” he sighs, “good and bad.”
“Guess I met both,” Laura mutters, and Sheriff Hunnem chuckles dryly.
“Guess so.”
She goes to push her chair back but stops. “Sir, if somebody was passing through, they couldn’t be on foot, right?”
“...Excuse me?”
“I… don’t think I saw a police car,” Laura admits. She wasn’t sure of it until the words formed on her tongue, sour. Now that they’re out, she can see it clearly in her mind’s eye: no car where there should’ve been one.
Christ, she must be going through some sort of a mental break.
To his credit, although visibly alarmed, Sheriff Hunnem doesn’t outright call her a crazy woman. “Look, miss,” he says after clearing his throat, “it’s a tough thing to deal with, a close call like the one you had, but I recommend you don’t dwell on it.” He opens his palms in a pacifying gesture. “You are alive and well—at the end of the day, that’s all that matters.”
Recognizing the end of the conversation for what it is, Laura nods in agreement and stands up, feeling numbness spread through her following her earlier outburst. Get it together, jeez.
“Thank you for your time, sir.” She manages a tense smile, ready to flee, but before Laura can open the door to the main office area, the sheriff calls her name again.
“About that project of yours, with the cameras and all. Make sure you’re out of the woods by nightfall.” He looks her in the eye, and a shadow of an elm tree outside the room’s only window cuts through the space as the sun blinks from behind patchy clouds. “We’ve got way more predators who feel at home in the dark.”

Here are some random Marvel hc's I've thought up:
One time on a mission, Vision ended up in the water, and while he was fine, Peter, Wanda, Pietro, and Tony still threw rice at him
Peter has crashed into the windows of the tower mulitple times
Nat is a secret softy. She loves stuffed animals and her favorite color is pink. The only person who knew this died from unexplained circumstances
Clint once got trapped in the vents for 2 days after Tony needed to do maintenance on them and didn't know Clint was in them (he did know but did it anyways)
Steve is a great chef but can't bake to save his life, yet Bucky can bake amazingly but once burnt water trying to make boxed Mac and cheese
Thor once ate so many pop tarts that he got sick, threw up, and then proceeded to eat more pop tarts
Bruce was once so tired he lost his glasses, which were resting on top of his head. He has also used his phones flashlight to look for his phone
Clint and Bucky got banned from the local fair after they won all the prizes in the shooting games
Tony and Bruce once tried to take over the world in the lab after they had been awake for 72 hours
Peter once snuck in a puppy he found on patrol and it took all of them bar Nat 4 days to figure it out. Tony tried to tell Peter he couldn't keep it but Peter whipped out the puppy dog eyes. Her name is Sadie and she's best friends with Bucky's cat Alpine.
If you ask, Rhodey will tell you embarrassing stories about Tony in college, but you have to give him something in return (ex: cookies)
Clint once replaced all the coffee in the tower with decaf. Tony cried. Steve was confused but still drank it. Bruce doesn't drink coffee so it didn't affect him. Nat just rolled her eyes. And Thor doesn't need coffee.
It took Tony months to get them to hand him things, and when the first time it happened (Steve handed him a pen), everyone froze, before continuing like nothing happened.
One summer Tony contacted Harley and flew him out to New York and didn't tell Peter, who was also staying the summer, so Peter walked in, saw a cute southern guy, turned redder than his suit and walked out without saying a word.
Peter has accidentally revealed his identity to everyone by walking on the ceiling when he thought he was alone or getting startled so much he jumped up to the ceiling.
Peter is allergic to peppermint as a side effect to the spider bite, which he found out at Christmas time when he went to eat a candy cane and threw up.
Sam once waited for an hour watching Steve go for a run before he sped up, passed him on the left yelling "ON YOUR LEFT" causing Steve to laugh so hard he fell
When Sam gets super upset, his New Orleans accent comes out and the only person who can understand him is Nat, and she won't translate
Despite what everyone thinks, Steve has the worst potty mouth of them all. Bucky one told a story about how one day when he came down to the boat docks he was swewring so much the sailors were blushing. He also comes up with the most creative swear words.

I haven’t read the books in a hot minute, would you tell me the clif notes of what’s happened sense River? Even if it’s super short
I’ll go by POV rather than recount the entire book
Overall important events: the warrior code is changed so it allows cats to move clans, but they have to take a test to prove their loyalty to their new clan. Also leaders can now be voted out of power if 3/4 of their clan, the medicine cats, the other leaders, and StarClan all agree (in that order).
Flamepaw: Fails his warrior assessment twice, hates being named Flamepaw because he isn’t ginger so he feels it’s a blatant attempt to name him after Firestar. His relationship with his mother Sparkpelt is a bit estranged, and Flamepaw blames her for leaving him when she went into exile. At the end of the book he finally passes his warrior assessment and Bramblestar names him Flameheart. Flameheart interrupts his ceremony and asks for a different name that reflects him, and not Firestar. Bramblestar named him Nightheart.
Edit: Also Bramblestar is quite distant and unfocused throughout the book.
Sunbeam: Her best friend is Lightleap and she wants to be mates with Blazefire. Lightleap causes Sunbeam and Blazefire to get into separate accidents. Blazefire lets Sunbeam know he’s not interested in her romantically but would still like to be friends. Sunbeam’s brother, Spireclaw, is in love with Fringewhisker from SkyClan, so using the new code changes, Fringewhisker moves to ShadowClan. At one point Sunbeam hears a commotion near the RiverClan border and Lightleap comes limping from that direction, but claims nothing of note happened. Sunbeam’s mother, Berryheart, is certainly not happy about this, and starts rallying other cats to share her view that clanswapping shouldn’t be this easy and clanswappers can’t be trusted.
Frostpaw: oh boy Frostpaw, saving the best until last here. Frostpaw is Mothwing’s apprentice because since kithood, her mother Curlfeather has told her that her dreams are special. She had a dream about a storm, the storm happened. She also had a dream about her father Jayclaw disappearing, a short time later Jayclaw died (we don’t know how). Anyway while Reedwhisker is on patrol, Mistystar has a heart attack and dies at a clan meeting. The patrol comes back, they claim to have lost track of Reedwhisker. They launch a manhunt for Reedwhisker, and go to the other clans asking if they have seen him, no one has. Frostpaw at this point is left as the only StarClan connecting cat in the clan. Frostpaw sees a vague vision of a cat with green eyes telling her to bury Mistystar’s body, and finds a star shaped leaf in her nest. Frostpaw is left trying to communicate with StarClan. RiverClan go on pretending that nothings wrong at the gathering and Mistystar is just sick and so is Reedwhisker. Frostpaw has a dream where a cat she presumed to be Leopardstar tells her to go towards the twolegplace to find Reedwhisker. She goes with a patrol, Splashtail, who was on the patrol Reedwhisker went missing on, tries to turn the patrol back. Eventually they come across a gorge and find Reedwhisker’s body at the bottom. Frostpaw sees scratches on Reedwhisker’s body, but Curlfeather dismisses them when Frostpaw tries to point them out. Frostpaw goes to the Moonpool with Splashtail to try and ask StarClan who the leader should be. She sees nothing at the pool but on the path on the way back she finds a curled feather and takes it as a sign her mother Curlfeather has been chosen to be the next leader. She sleeps on it on Mothwing’s advice and dreams of lots of curled feathers, and believes this confirms her omen. Curlfeather and Frostpaw start going to the Moonpool when dogs come and attack, Frostpaw manages to get up a tree to safety but Curlfeather screams “Trust no cat” as she gets mauled to death by the dogs.
And I believe that’s basically the main points of the book? If anyone thinks I’ve missed anything significant out or misremembered anything please let me know.

Chaeryeong x Fem reader | Outbreak Au
Tumblr media
pairing-lee chaeryoung x fem reader story word count-1381 proof read?-idk bro lmao
my little Last of Us inspired chae x fem reader idea that I finally got au of my head onto paper...or screen. I feel like this is a little corny and wndewhelming/rushed towards the end but I think it turned out okay.
i want to do a couple more chaeryoung x reader in this universe I really like this idea lol. anyways, onto the story!
Life wasn't easy after outbreak day. People died. A lot of people. They were either killed by the infected or became infected themselves. It was chaos, but people came to terms with the way the world was now. People banded together to form thriving communities; they came together to survive.
A few communities worked much like small towns from the old days-there were generators for power, houses were fixed up so occupants could live within them,  greenhouses homed crops, there were playgrounds and even stables for horses. You found yourself in one of these communities at the age of 14, being saved from an infected while a team from said community was out on patrol.
You had lost your older sister and mom. You barricaded yourself in a house after your sister told you to run-so you did. You were exhausted by the time the patrol team came, face soaked in tears and clothes caked in  blood from the infected and dirt; your body was drenched in sweat as you struggled to hold the bedroom door closed against the monster. Just as you were giving up, ready to accept your fate, the sound of a rifle being fired rang through the air.
They took you back to their group, a flourishing community they called Serenity. There were kids running around, and people walking about, chatting about their day. There were a bunch of houses of all shapes and sizes-there was even a bar and a bookstore (though, it operated more like a library since there was no real use for money anymore) And at this very bookstore is where you met Chaeryeong.
By the time two weeks had passed, you had adjusted very well to life in Serenity. You missed your mom and sister dearly, but you knew that the chances of seeing them alive ever again was slim-you just had to hope they would pop up in Serenity one day.  Everyone knew that Y/n was the girl who holed herself up in the bookstore on the f/c beanbag in a corner.
Well, at least you thought everyone knew.
One particular day, you went to go pick up the book you left on hold called "The Friskative Dog." Looking forward to finishing it today, you strolled over to your sacred beanbag, but you froze when you saw a red-haired girl around your age nestled comfortably within it. She was reading a book of her own.
You were conflicted. You didn't know what to say. You didnt want to be mean and make her get up, but you didn't want to share it either. You clutched your book at your side,  a pit growing in your stomach as nervousness washed over you. You were about to just leave and come back another day when she spoke to you.
"Oh, did you want to sit here?" she asked sweetly, her dark eyes looking up at you. You shook your head frantically, feeling your book slip from your sweaty hands.
"N-no, I'll just go sit somewhere else!" And scurried away without another word.
It was the same thing for the next couple of days, she would be sitting in your beanbag, and you would just leave. It went on like that until she stopped you from leaving.
She invited you to sit with her in that spot, pulling up another bean bag and giving you yours back.
And that's how you became acquainted and eventually, friends.
It was on a patrol where she confessed her feelings for you. Once people in the community turned 18, they had the option to become scouts. You and Chae joined the more experienced scouts on supervised patrols, and eventually they began to trust you guys to head out by yourselves. On one particular summer patrol, you and her were tasked with clearing out a couple of buildings that were about a half an hour horse ride away from Serenity. Some infected snuck up on her, knocking her over. You shot it in its head just in the nick of time, and with a round face splattered in inhuman blood, she looks up at you and blurts out: “Oh my god I love you.”
And here we are in the present day, the two of you sharing a horse  (whom you named Sucrose) as she silently trekked on a path through a lush woodland. You held the reins as Chae leaned against you back, arms wrapped loosely around your waist.
“Y/n~ It’s hot out here,” She whined as she wiped her sweaty face on your t-shirt.
“I know. Whining about it isn’t gonna cool you down, though.” She groaned, unfastening the canteen on her waist, throwing her head back to take a hearty sip. She then screwed the cap back on and pulled a map of the local from her pocket. “Let’s see…”
“Do you think we’re getting closer to that flower farm?” You asked her as she squinted at the paper in her hands.
“Maybe? According to Daniel’s map we should be on the right path…We did walk past that tipped over statue half an hour ago.”
The two of you were on a well deserved vacation from Serenity, Daniel (an older guy who’s a self proclaimed adventurer who's apparently been all over) having given you a couple maps and suggested you visit a large field of wildflowers for your guy’s trip, giving you guys a couple marked up maps to help guide you a little. Sucrose snorted, and you patted her silky brown coat.
“Uh oh.” You pulled back, causing the horse to stop as you came upon a crossroad.  “Here, turn this way.” Chaeryoung, slightly taller than you, placed her wrists atop of yours and guided the reins to the right.
“I can drive the horse myself,” you say, feeling your body warm up at her touch.
“Drive?” She chuckled as Sucrose trotted down the dirt path that veered right. Moments later, your mount emerged from the woods, stepping out into a rainbow colored field of flowers.
“Woah…” You both said in unison as you led Sucrose through the field. Butterflies fluttered around each other here and there, and a few birds rose from the ground your horse walked on.
“This is so pretty,” She said as gripped your shoulder to bend down and run her hand through the tall grass and flowers.
“Look, we can set up at that little house over there,” you said, pointing at a beat up abandoned cottage a short distance away.
After securing the perimeter, your and your girlfriend settle down comfortably in the cottage.
“This place seems like its out of a fairy tale,” she says as she sits criss-cross (applesauce) on the patio outside across from you, opening up a sandwich you guys packed for the trip while you drank some water. Sucrose grazed on some flowers a short distance away.
“I know, glad we listened to Daniel…for once.” You both chuckled as you ate and drank. She took some time to admire you. You were leaned back on your arm as you drank. Your shirt hugged your body thanks to the sweat from being outside in the heat for a few hours. Her eyes lingered on your lips, wrapped around the canteen of water as you drank. When you threw your head back up, catching her gaze, you smirked.
“See something you like?” Her eyes roamed your body bashfully before she tucked a few strands of red hair behind her ear.
“Maybe I do.” She crawled up to you, as you were still leaning back on your arm until both her arms straddled you. She pushed forward, turning her head towards the side as she pressed her warm lips onto yours. Slowly, she eased you onto your back, prompting you to run your fingers through her red hair.
“Mm,” you breathed as she eased your head onto the patio, using her hand as a cushion. Her other hand cupping your cheek and brushing her thumb over the side of your face.
“Chae~”
“Hm?” She pulled back, catching her breath and resting her forehead onto yours.
“I love you, a lot.” She smiles, kissing you once more. Looking you in the eyes, she says:
“I love you to the ends of the earth.”

im insane about my op/wc au
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Otterstar (Luffy) - leader of SeaClan, a Clan he formed with a few Clan cats he knew and a bunch of rogues and loners who were living on what is now SeaClan's territory, which includes a half-rocky, half-sandy beachside that was once frequented by Twolegs, but has been closed off to them for quite a while. His den is a driftwood fort on said beach. The other Clan leaders often chastize Otterstar for "acting like an overgrown kit", but he doesn't seem to mind.
Tumblr media
Mossyslash (Zoro) - Deputy of SeaClan. Used to be a rogue. Goatkick started a rumor going around the Clan that the green streaks in his fur are moss because he sleeps so much.
Shellpaw - Mossyslash's apprentice. She idolizes him.
Tumblr media
Snowyleopard (Law) - SeaClan's medicine cat. Has a suspiciously large store of catnip.
Deerpaw (Chopper) - Snowyleopard's apprentice. Was originally Longwren (Kureha)'s apprentice when she was medicine cat of ThunderClan before she joined SeaClan as an elder, but since Deerpaw hadn't finished his training, he became Snowyleopard's apprentice. He was the runt of his litter and was kicked out by his siblings, so he was adopted by a loner named Yarrow (Hiriluk) who knew Longwren. After Yarrow was killed by a RiverClan patrol, Longwren took Deerpaw in.
Tumblr media
Burningdusk (Ace) - Otterstar's adoptive brother along with Lizardflame. His mother died while kitting, and Bearheart (Dadan) ended up suckling him in ThunderClan along with Otterkit. (Lizardflame was already apprentice age when he was taken in.)
Gullpaw - Burningdusk's apprentice. He saved her from a wolf attack when she was a kit.
Tumblr media
Lizardflame (Sabo) - Otterstar and Burningdusk's adoptive brother. A pedigreed Russian Blue who used to be a show cat named Tipton's Wuthering Heights Baby. He hated being a show cat, and after a fireplace accident that burned the left side of his face and left him blind in that eye, he was due to be euthanized. Luckily, he made an escape and joined ThunderClan, where he was mentored by Blazeflight (Dragon).
Tumblr media
Orangestalk (Nami) - A former rogue known for stealing fresh-kill and herbs from other clans to feed her sister and mother. Her mother unfortunately was killed in a dog attack.
Wavepaw - Orangestalk's apprentice.
Tumblr media
Goatkick (Sanji) - Always seen chewing a twig. Frenemies with Mossyslash. Figured out how to cook fresh-kill over a fire.
Crabpaw - Goatkick's apprentice.
Tumblr media
Deepshadow (Robin) - A she-cat who is very knowledgeable in the ways of Twolegs and other cat and non-cat races. Seems to have special ties to StarClan, despite not being a medicine cat.
Camaspaw - Deepshadow's apprentice.
Tumblr media
Russetflight (Shanks) - Otterstar's previous mentor. Lost his leg defending Otterpaw from a dog attack. Seems to have some unfinished business with Sealnose, and both of them have connections to the late Rogue King, Gold.
Goosepaw - Russetflight's apprentice.
Tumblr media
Slugrun (Usopp) - A small brown tabby that is one of Otterstar's closest friends.
Tumblr media
Hardclaw (Franky) - A strong and somewhat odd warrior with mutual feelings towards Deepshadow.
Woodpaw - Hardclaw's apprentice.
Tumblr media
Fishleap (Jinbe) - A former kittypet (and later RiverClan cat) senior warrior who's sort of a father figure to most of the apprentices.
Codpaw - Fishleap's apprentice, who Fishleap doesn't seem to show any bit of favoritism towards compared to the other apprentices.
Tumblr media
Duckwood (Vivi) - A former kittypet who used to belong to a rich family. She is very close with Orangestalk.
Anemonepaw - Duckwood's apprentice.
Tumblr media
Sealnose (Buggy) - Very sensitive about his nose. Seems to have unfinished business with Russetflight.
Tumblr media
Crushjaw (Bonney) - A former rogue who is close friends with Otterstar.
Edit: if you saw russetflight with four legs no you didnt

Because I fee like I need to share this with people: here are some bits and pieces from my Gallavich story. Read below the Cut!!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! I'd love to answer :)
--
Mickey stands there, staring at the stone for a bit. “She got hitched when she was 19. Popped out a kid. Had a full fucking family by the time she was thirty. Died before she hit forty. Fuck,” Mickey curses. “Almost outlived Ma.” He scrubs his face, rubbing his finger on his eyebrow. “Think I might want to give it a go, Man.”
Ian perks up. “Give what a go?”
“Kids.”
Ian’s elated. “Really?” He jumps up, ready to kiss Mickey. Mickey accepts the kiss, but nothing else.
“Save jumping me for Terry’s grave.”
--
“Unc Call!” Freddie screams with delight, Lip going to rub a finger in his ear.
“Thanks Bud. Think I’m deaf now.” He chuckles and places the toddler on the ground, letting him run into Carl’s legs. While Mickey might be one of the favorite uncles, Carl was a close second for Freddie. Something about Carl always having the best snacks, and the whole police man thing. And the boy also seemed to inherit the Gallagher need for chaos.
“Hey Fred,” Carl greets, bending down to high five the toddler.
“Unc Cal!!” He screeches over and over, chatting away to the police officer about the latest episode of Paw Patrol. Carl listens, nodding after every few words.
--
It’s not until they’re alone that Franny opens up a bit more. “That was one of the bestest days ever! Thank you,” She says, beaming at both her uncles. “Uncle Mickey, can we play Westside Liquor Store robbery?”
Ian laughs. “What’s that, Fran?”
“It’s like regular liquor store robbery only the bottles is expensive an’ an’ bougie. Uncle Mickey and me is the robbers!”
“Can I play?” Ian asks, already expecting an answer. The game was usually reserved for Mickey and Franny.
“Ummm.” Franny taps her finger to her chin. “Okay. We can shoot you.” Mickey snorts, loudly. “But only pretend shoot ‘cause Uncle Mickey will be really sad if you really really get shot.”
--
“Fuck off Phillip,” Mickey says, meeting Lip’s eyes in the mirror.
”Leave my husband alone, Lip.” Ian meets eyes with his brother. “Some people give a shit.”
Lip snorts. “Believe me, I was there for your hair straightening phase.”
Tami takes interest in the conversation. “Ian used to straighten his hair?”
“Until like, junior year or something. He started stealing Fiona’s straightner when he was in middle school.”
--
Based off something my brother thought at his baby shower:
“What’s that thing that baby’s sleep in.”
“A crib?”
“No, that other thing. For little babies. Oh! A bayonet.”
Lip starts laughing. “You mean bassinet.”
“I thought that was a dog.”
“You’re thinking of basset hound.” Lip is still laughing at his kid brother. “Don’t think Ian will let the baby have a bayonet. The thing for guns,” Lip explains to those who are confused.
--
“I like him,” Franny announces. “I know you’re married to Uncle Ian, Uncle Mickey, but if not, I think you and Mister Trevor would look really nice together.”
Mickey snorts.
“What about me?” Ian fakes a pout.
“If you and Uncle Mickey weren’t married, then I think you’d be married to Uncle Lip.”

🌼DaisyClan Bio: Lakespark🌼
Tumblr media
Like many of the Clan founders, Lakespark was born not in the forest, but in the stifling streets of the Big Twolegplace. Lake and her two brothers, River and Puddle, started their lives as loners, living in a cardboard box under a bridge. Their mother, Patches, quickly realised she could not take care of her family alone in this unforgiving place. So she gathered up her kits and took them deeper into the Twolegplace, where a group of cats called the Colony was said to live.
The area of the city that the Colony called home was the more industrial part of town, with heavy machinery patrolling the streets and smog blocking out the sun. But the Colony made the best of their situation. They made their camp in an area known as the Junkyard, hunting the rats and mice that were lured there by the smell of twoleg rubbish. The Colony welcomed Patches and her kits, and over the next few moons, Lake, River and Puddle began to flourish in their new home.
Lake grew up to be a fierce fighter, defending the Colony’s home from all manner of trespassers: rogues, dogs, and even twolegs. The cats’ leader admired Lake’s bravery and resolve. The Colony knew she would probably be chosen to guide them once the old leader passed.
But before that time came, Lake started a family. She fell in love with a shy but sweet former kittypet named Henry, and soon they were expecting kits. Sadly, though, only one of the four kits survived their first week. Lake and Henry took the loss hard, but they vowed to be the best parents they could for their remaining kit, a little black she-cat named Shadow, who would grow up to be the group’s healer.
Time went on, and the Colony’s leader grew weaker and weaker. With his dying breath, he proclaimed that Lake would succeed him. Although this didn’t come as a surprise, the Colony celebrated their new leader, and Lake proudly took up the mantle.
As leader of the Colony, Lake helped her cats thrive. She waged war on a group of rogues that had lived on the edge of their territory for moons, eventually driving them out. She sent regular patrols throughout the twolegplace, looking for lone cats who needed the support of the Colony to survive, just as her mother had. But the most notable thing Lake did as leader was introduce a naming system. All cats would be granted a second name when they came of age, to honour their skills or an important part of their life. Lake took the name Lakespark, to honour her ferocity and loyalty to the Colony.
Years went by, and this golden era continued for some time. But it could not last, and when the Long Cold came, everything started to fall apart. Lakespark was an old cat by this time, but she had lost none of her spunk. For a time, she held the Colony together even as cats began to die. But when some members started leaving the Colony in search of a safer life, even Lakespark began to lose hope, especially when Henry decided to leave too. The most painful blow was struck when her daughter Shadowspots died. Lakespark felt as though she could never be happy again.
A tiny bit of hope returned to her the day after her daughter’s death, when Woodpelt, Shadowspots’s apprentice, announced that she had been given a message from their ancestors. Lakespark wasn’t sure that going on a dangerous journey through unfamiliar territory was the answer to their problems, but she was out of options. Lakespark stepped down, and let the cat the message had spoken of take over: Daisyrunner.
The trek to their new home was long and treacherous, and Lakespark lost many more friends along the way. But as lives were lost, one new life was born, a tiny orange tom named Wood, after the healer who saved him. Lakespark realised that this one name didn’t represent everything that this kit meant to the broken Colony. She decided that a cat’s name should grow with them. “A kit is small and innocent, but full of hope. As they grow, their paws will guide them to their destiny.” Lakespark proclaimed. And so Wood began his life as Woodkit. One day, he would become Woodpaw, and then, when the leader decided the time was right, he would earn his second name.
After many moons of travelling, the Colony finally found their new home, and became DasiyClan, with Daisystar as their leader. Lakespark gave the young leader all the guidance she could, helping them find their way. But Lakespark’s time in the Clan’s new home was short. One night, a snake slipped into her den and bit her. But, strangely, as Lakespark felt the venom coursing through her body, she didn’t feel scared. She had done her duty to the Colony, and now, as the first DaisyClan cat to join StarClan, she could watch over them forever more.
>>>
I'm going to start posting a detailed biography of every cat who dies . . . so here's a bit more about DaisyClan's oldest founder, Lakespark!
If you want to see more of my work, I also have an alt account where I post non-clangen art and a YouTube channel.
Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful day!

If Fire and Swift make their own clans, and if Tiger gets to stay in Starclan as founder of Tigerclan, would Fire and Swift be allowed in Starclan as 'founders' of Fireclan/Lionclan and Swiftclan/Leopardclan? What if Fire is father of Hawk, Moth, and Tadpole/Frog? Since he left and joined Bloodclan at one point. Also, say the dogs still got loose and still killed Swift, how would Fire, Bramble, Twany, Golden and Tiger deal with it? Would Tiger watch his kids more, especially since the Fire happened shortly before Swift's death, and that had caused him to nearly lose both Bramble and Fireheart? Ashkit and Firekit being good friends would be a great mirror to Whitestorm and Tigerclawstar's friendship, too. Who would Tiger mentor Firepaw too after Bluestar's death? With Swiftpaw and Tigerclawstar dead, would Firestar have an easier time of desolving Tigerclan back into 3?
Would Swift and Fire get into StarClan?
I'm ruling that the Founder Exception kicks in when your Clan is stable and will last a while. So Tigerstar gets into StarClan this time because TigerClan was inherited by Firestar.
Ergo, if SwiftClan/LeopardClan and FireClan/LionClan survive, Fire and Swift will get into StarClan no matter what they do in life.
That said I think this is still only applicable to Swift, Fire's defined as a character by making ruthless choices for the greater good, and snatching mercy and compassion from the jaws of his violent circumstances. I can't see him going to the Dark Forest.
The Dogs & A Premature Death of Swift
If the dogs kill Swift in this timeline, it wouldn't be related at all to a Tiger scheme. He has no need to do it; his coup succeeds and he becomes leader of ThunderClan.
(Swift WOULD be a warrior by this point, though, Tiger wouldn't delay his ceremony.)
I think it's more likely that Tigerstar learns of the dogs, finds it bizarre that they're loose in the woods, but constructs a patrol to deal with them. It could be the case that Swift is overeager to prove himself and gets mauled to death because he refuses to run. (Though I think it's likely that Fire would be there to save his ass)
SO ANYWAY the real meat of this question is how the family would react to the premature death of Swift, right?
I think it'd be too much for little Bramble. Too much death and pressure at a young age; he wouldn't want to engage with combat or the expectations of being Tigerstar's son. I think he would want to become a medicine cat after this, but get forced into being Fire's apprentice.
It would work out timeline-wise that Bramble goes with his older brother into BloodClan.
For Tawny, I think it would be shocking to Fire to hear her say, "He shouldn't have been dumb, it's his fault!" Sounds EXACTLY like their father. Fire would know that Swift only died to impress Tigerstar, and he'd suddenly worry Tawny will meet a similar fate.
Or worse. She really will be the next Tigerstar.
Goldenflower and Fire are predictably mortified. They're very similar people. I don't know how much it would really CHANGE though, since they're already pretty horrified by this point.
Tigerstar reacts a lot like Tawny, but it comes from a place of pride. He can't let it be his fault because Tigerstar never blames himself, so he just blames Swift for his own death. He gave him an opportunity and Swift blundered it one last time.
The Fire
I think the purpose of the fire in this AU would be another moment where Fire himself feels conflicted about Tigerstar. Tigerstar and him would charge back in together to save everyone, and I think they'd be able to save both Bramblekit AND Patchpelt. Tiger loses a life to do it.
It's another of those moments where Fire can't see him as completely bad, respecting his power and bravery.
After this, with the territory devastated, ThunderClan would be forced to start taking land from other Clans as it recovered. Fire would see it as a necessary evil with this renewed sense of respect for his dad... but still feel wrong about the whole thing.
Firepaw's Mentorship
I think it makes sense Tigerstar would mentor his own kid, yeah. It's kind of a taboo for fathers to mentor their own children, but when he's leader he makes the rules.
"Only the finest for my son." Firepaw clearly traumatized next to him
On that note, Tigerstar's first deputy would be Whitestorm.

did that clangen thing that all the kids are talking about lol. I got pretty far, enough for five leaders to happen and for me to get emotionally distraught when my save got corrupted. Anyways! Let me tell you about the story of NewfloodClan, an unfortunately named settlement of cats and their antics.
Cloverstar: The original leader of NewfloodClan, she was named leader when she was an older warrior and was overall pretty good. She had a mate named Birchscar and two babies; Petalstrike and Stagear (both white cats). Sadly she passed away of old age shortly after his kits became ‘paws, leaving her inexperienced deputy, Grassleaf, in her place.
Grass-star: Perhaps the shortest lived leader, Grass-star was thrust into leadership when she wasn’t prepared and this was very evident... She would go on to die during a patrol after trying to lead a dog away from the clan.
Petalstar: THE KING OF CATS. The best leader NewfloodClan ever had frfr. Son of Cloverstar, father of 15, winner of many scars. He’s like Ramses II if he were a cat. He and his beloved wife Cherrypatch tended to their clanmates for many, many seasons and led NewfloodClan into prosperity. While Petalstar initially chose his own son, Doeacorn for his deputy, after the tom’s untimely death he would choose Clawheart, who would later be known as....
Clawstar: An agreeable fellow. He wasn’t the most interesting leader but he was alright. He was appointed later in his life so his reign wasn’t super long or exciting. He did have a funny on-off relationship with a cat named Snipstrike tho. Clawstar went through like. 3 deputies I think? One was Birdflood, a granddaughter of Petalstar who was killed by dogs, the next was Buzzardpetal, who sadly died of greencough, and the last was Skyfall.
Skystar: Unlike the other leaders, Skystar and his brother (forgot his name so now it’s Embercloud) were brought in as kits by a loner who sadly died a moon later.. The two would become skilled warriors respected by the clan, and eventually Skyfall would become the deputy and then, the leader. That being said, he was a little bit of an evil dude? Or at least let evil happen cause his mate, Rubblefang, was a massive jerk who was constantly starting rumors and being cruel to other cats ghjk.
Sadly after this I lost the entire save so they’re all gone now... However I do remember some of the most notable cats, who I may post later.
