davey who finds all of jacks drawings- not just of him, but of everybody in jacks life. candid pictures of crutchie, race, albert, katherine- literally everybody jack knows. but as davey's snooping (because he just cannot resist) he finds a picture of a middle-aged man, drawn with considerably less refined penmanship than the others. it's labeled as 'pops' in fading pencil.

jack's father. ... oh.

davey slips it back between the two landscapes it was nestled in, but makes sure to make the corner visible- so jack might see it and consider drawing it again.

he also makes sure to snap a mental picture of the drawing labeled 'davey gazes into the distance <3' before he places the papers back into their tube and back under jack's scruffy pillow.

Honey With A Note Of Song

an absinthe wash (the green fairy, for your roots)

2 oz. rye (your liquor of choice, strong and spicy)

1/4 oz. pine and rosemary honey syrup (you cannot go home again)

1 barspoon of saline solution (for your first divine smite, where you found your breath once more)

1-2 dashes of peychauds bitters (because this is a play on a sazerac)

a grapefruit twist (a touch of the bitterness age has brought you)

serve in a glass reminiscent of a chalice

the fact that doctors can just Recommend Weight Loss with no instructions beyond ‘eat healthier/less’ is actually insane to me, i lost weight on purpose ONCE and it took me like 6 years to recover a semi-normal relationship with food and hunger

#uhh #disordered eating cw #just in case #mumbling #like jfc i know i’m not the first to say it and my experience is relatively SO tame #but it STILL fucked with my head for YEARS #and most people don’t go nearly that long between weight loss attempts at all for basically their whole lives!!!!!#and we’re so blasé about it like yeah just eat less to lose weight #and so few people talk about the really weird shit that phase of my life taught me even though they seem like pretty universal things #like when you lose weight deliberately by denying yourself food you get COLD #you get cold and you get in your head and you get sad it’s like being less alive #the times i’ve lost weight/recomped on accident (by doing smth that makes me move more‚ getting better sleep etc)#it’s been WARM #burn hotter move freer feel happier #and also the way hunger feels when you’ve been denying yourself food for an extended time is NOT the same as baseline hunger #it’s actually kind of wild that we use the same word to describe both feelings like that shit is NOT the same #that shit is not ‘being really hungry’ it’s a fuckin. blood curse or some shit you feel straight up unhinged #and i should disclaim here i am not talking large amounts of weight #i’ve fluctuated over i think a 20lb range max since reaching close to my adult height and that’s a guesstimate #but even in my relatively unremarkable little experiences here the way deliberate weight loss fucked with my brain is absurd to me #i’m fine now have been for years but seriously thinking back on it the fact that this is routine medical advice. unreal

According to uncovered scripts, Pallomine seems to be an infrequent visitor to Home. Something akin to a special guest character, not much is known so far.

In the show, it seems Pallomine was introduced to cover more sensitive topics such as getting hurt or a fear of thunderstorms. It is also of note that they are often depicted having a sweet tooth.

#partially as a thought of like. how small we are in comparison to the world and how little of it I'll get to experience #just by default.#and then also... how disability is so limiting that like. there are thing's I know I'll just never be able to do #I can't ice skate I can't rock climb I can't do martial arts #I can't carve or tinker or sculpt #and then also there's like. the financial aspect.#you have to just cope with the fact that their are people who have the resources and the means #to go fucking scuba diving in the great barrier reef or get a professional violin teacher or make a slide in their house #or w/e #just. the complete lack of both Impact and Breadth that my life represents.#I've done nothing in both senses of the word. nothing for myself to gain experience and nothing that leaves a mark for others #it's so overwhelming. the amount of realities you'll never live..

#idk how many people actually go to protests and marches and vigils on this site #but i think tonights was the first time ive ever felt kind of dissapointed by one #not because of the vigil itself #i guess i was just hoping a vigil in front of the local israeli conculate for ALL martyrs would've drawn more than like 50 -75 people #yes it was below freezing yes it was windy #but were all people who live in a cold city #and can dress warm for it #and know how to tough it out #and even if we werent its such a tiny discomfort for such a short amount of time to act like its a reason to not go to something #idk i guess i thought more people were deeply enough affected by Refaat and Hind and Aaron and every other martyr we know by name #and the thousands and thousands and thousands we dont #to show up and stand in the cold for a little while #to feel like we can honour them in some way #to hear Refaat's words read allowed (which has hurt consistently but is so important to feel)#idk where im going with it i think i just need to get it all out #its been a very weird day

When Four, stuck in his minish form, is dropped into the middle of the Yiga clan's base, he fears the worst. He would have never expected to be named a messenger of Ganon by the clan's leader. But there he was, forced to play the part of Master Banana until his brothers found him. He hoped they would soon. He was getting really tired of bananas.

I have a bunch (haha) of ideas for this. I might even make a oneshot book, who knows :>

This is somewhat of a simpler version, I have another idea that involves Twilight/Wolfie that I’ll put under the cut.

So Four keeps trying to get out, but the Yiga keep a close eye on him and he never gets to leave. In this version, either the Yiga know sign or they all learn it because it is the “language of ganon”. Eventually, he convinces them to let him go on a mission.

When he’s on the mission, he runs into the chain. He doesn’t want to blow his cover just in case, so he throws himself at Twilight/Wolfie. Wolfie can understand him, and he tells him “its me smithy I need you to kidnap me” and throws himself into Wolfie’s mouth. Twilight is confused but goes along with it

Twi and Four get captured and brought back to the base. In a last ditch effort to save Twilight, Four tells them “uhhh ganon is telling me that this beast will become my servant! He is lending me his power!” He starts telling Twi the plan in minish speak (which the yiga think is ganon’s language because of course they do). Twi even uses some twilight magic to create little wispy bits. So now they’re both stuck in the Yiga base, and Twi has to pretend to be under Four’s control. Four also tells them that Twi can’t eat bananas because “he doesnt deserve them” (he doesn’t want Twi to suffer like he has the past 2 months). Four doesn’t know if he can eat the dubious meat they give to Twi, but he will try if it means he gets to eat anything that isn’t bananas.
