You watch Younghyun from amidst the crowd, your eyes focused on his every move, however subtle. The want to claim him for yourself is strong—overpowering even.

The crowd cheered, and you saw how Brian turned to look at you. You met eyes with him, your hands clenched as you let out something short of a snarl, wanting to chase after him then and there. You saw fear flash before his eyes, watching as he shivered before shakily continuing on with his verse. His eyes darting to you throughout the rest of the song, heart beating just a little faster each time.

You continued watching him, his smell intoxicating, making you close your eyes blissfully. You smiled to yourself, eyes fluttering. He'd be yours soon, you knew. Just you wait, you thought expectantly.

It's been two weeks since his last showcase.

You still haven't made your move, but the urge to claim him was getting stronger, and it's been depriving you of your sleep. Every waking moment was spent thinking of him. It would take one bite. One simple bite, to claim him for yourself and show others he was yours.

Your wolf was prancing at just the thought of it. He was right there, looking so out in the open. So vulnerable. Just waiting for you to run to him—

It took only a second to realize that there was another wolf nearby. Your eyes immediately landed on them, a low snarl escaping your lips, making the MyDay around you turn around with wide, frightened eyes.

It's now or never, you thought, snapping your gaze back to Younghyun. You leapt forward, people screaming as they saw your golden, glowing eyes, the animalistic growl emmiting from deep within your chest sending shivers down their spines. Brian yelled, trying to back up but falling over a cable, crawling away desperately. Sungjin and Jae were quickly scurrying to find security, Wonpil and Dowoon shouting from somewhere to the left of you, sounding just as frightened as the others. You could hear Brian's heart hammering against his chest in a panicked frenzy, his eyes wide with fear.

You crouched down, hovering over him with glowing eyes. He was panting, tears brimming in the corner of his eyes. "Please," he begged you in a shaky voice, "Please, leave me alone—"

"Oh, my poor thing..." You cooed, gently taking his chin in your hands to tilt his head back, exposing his neck for you to admire.

"You'll be fine, my dear rabbit." You muttered quietly, throwing your head back to lunge forward. You bit into his neck, your canines leaving a simmering red mark while simultaneously sending Younghyun writhing underneath you, the pain he was feeling unbearable. It felt like you had injected something into his system, something that was eating him inside out. Pulling away, you lick gently at the wound, Younghyun crying and whimpering beneath you as he tried to push you off of him, but to no avail.

"I'm sorry, dear rabbit. You're alright now.~" You hum, licking one last time at the wound before kissing the marked spot, pulling away to stare at his tear stained face fondly.

"Your wolf will take good care of you..." You whisper with a smile, Younghyun's eyes flashing a bright yellow, a strangled gasp leaving his throat.

again, same anon: i hope you have a wonderful day with all the festivities, and please always take your time with uploading and everything, i am just so thankful that you're doing it. in the meantime i have seen some clips, and have watched parts of the ending ments and cried my way through it.

i cannot put into words how big of an impact this band had on me during the pandemic and seeing them so emotional made me emotional and i hope every myday will have the chance one day to experience them live <3

omg watching it as it was happening was truly something else, i don't think i stopped crying the entire time, they truly got me good. awwwww anon! honestly i've been thinking about your message all day, i got into them right as they were all enlisting, like a whole month before young k left, so this is my first real go around with them. i hadn't realized how much they'd impacted me in that course of time (it's a bit of a meme on my personal blog, but i think if you guys saw my all time listening number for come as you are you might faint dsgjldsk that song got me THROUGH things the last year or so). although i admit back then i thought i was getting into this silly little band of guys who were loved, but generally a bit more on the quiet side numbers wise. as always i have to be proven wrong and they've only exploded from before their enlistment period, so being able to actually witness that in real time actually feels insanely special, and i think sharing it here and whatnot has only strengthened that hehe but you and i are in the same boat, and i'm manifesting we WILL see them live 🙏🙏🙏🙏 to a bright future together and with the boys!! 💕💕💕💕💕

Day 2: The song that made me a MyDay

I was a casual listener just going through their Spotify, but once Somehow came on it felt like everything else quieted down to make way for this song. It was a sound I’d never heard before, and Jae’s intro fairy powers worked for sure. The building pre-chorus got me so excited, and the chorus!! Realizing that each of the vocalists sing the strong high notes was enough for me to decide that these men had to be stanned 😂 This song has a special place in my heart

synopsis: Jihoon is having trouble writing lyrics due to writer's block. Knowing that he's up late at night, you go into the studio and convince him to go to bed, ending up with you two sleeping on the couch.

Pen scribbles, writing words, scratched out, again and again, small traces of led dotting the paper.

Jihoon's elbows on the table, his masculine hands holding the pencil, sitting at the studio desk. Soft instrumental played behind, the melody distinguishable through a distinct sound. The environment was perfect, quiet, and calm.

The studio was lit up by purple lights, dim and comfortable. In a comfortable chair, in front of a computer, was where Jihoon sat. Around the room we're neatly placed pianos and guitars, and a couch.

The paper Jihoon was currently staring at had a few words circled. Hold, Night, Work.

They were the specific keywords that Jihoon wanted to include in the lyrics for the song he was currently working on. Jihoon wanted to make a song similar to himself, a song that was filled with sincerity, and a song that others can relate to, find comfort from, and love. However, the right words were growing harder and harder to find. Sometimes, even the simplest words were the right ones, but even being surrounded by a large enough vocabulary didn't make the right words come.

Because the blinds are usually always closed, Jihoon didn't realize that it was nearly midnight.

Whenever he got caught up in working, he would become stubborn and refuse to leave the work unfinished unless it was done. It was the perfect time and to Jihoon, it felt like the perfect moment for his motivation to spark. He didn't want to believe it was writer's block.

Jihoon was so caught up in his thoughts that when you peeked into the studio, the slightest click and twist of the doorknob made him jump. The quiet atmosphere had made him sensitive to sounds.

Jihoon was flustered to see you at the studio. Outside, he was also surprised to see many of the lights in the building were turned off.

“What are you doing here?” Jihoon asked, turning to you.

You walked in and closed the door gently behind you.

As you were walking to stand beside him, you replied, “I'm worried for you and your members are too. Do you know what time it is?”

Jihoon checked his phone. 11:54 pm.

“It's almost midnight,” Jihoon said rather calmly as if it was a normal occurrence.

However, you knew that it wasn't a normal occurrence. Your boyfriend loved to sleep and could sleep for hours. It was only specific days like today where he feels the need to write something down and finish his musical pieces that he stays up so late.

“Yeah, it's almost midnight,” You placed your hand on his head, ruffling his soft hair. “You can work on it tomorrow, right?”

Jihoon chuckled softly. “But tomorrow is in a few minutes.”

You chuckled softly, spinning his chair around, your hands cupping his face. He just looked up at you, his hands in his lap.

Then, his eyes smiled cutely as he did.

“What? Why are you holding my face like this?” Jihoon asked, his hands fidgeting in his lap.

“Because I just want to drag you over to that couch and hold you in my arms and make you go to sleep right now,” Your hands went up to his hair, playing with it a little. “I mean, look at you.”

“What? What's with the way I look?”

“You look tired. Come on, when you sleep, you can wake up and be more motivated!” You glanced at the paper and saw the circled keywords. “The best way to write lyrics is to do it with sincerity, you said. It has to come from the heart, right?”

“I guess that's right.”

“What do you mean you ‘guess’? You told me that!”

Both of you laughed playfully, in the quiet night.

“Well, I'm just saying you're right,” Jihoon said. You could feel his hands trace up to your waist.

“It's okay to feel like you're not doing anything right. If you try to write and the right words aren't coming but you write anyway, feeling unsatisfied, will those lyrics be from the heart? Even if they have the same amount of sincerity?”

“I mean, it would be more sincere if I could pour out the right words from my heart, yes,” Jihoon replied.

You patted his cheeks with a smile and stepped back.

“So, I'm going to let you decide. If you want to stay up and write garbage to get rid of your writer's block, you can. If you want to wait all night for the right words to come, you can do that too. If you want to get some sleep and wake up tomorrow, refreshed, your heart filled with words, you can do that too. Whichever sincerity you think you want to apply best, follow your heart.”

You walked over to the gray couch and laid down on it, your head resting on the pillow. The couch was wide enough to fit the two of you and your legs were a bit longer than it but it was fine.

You were going to sleep in that studio if your boyfriend decided to stay up all night. That way, you could make sure he slept all morning the following day.

Jihoon stared down at the paper, feeling a whiff of inspiration cross his mind because of your words. That's when the idea of lyrics brought a lightbulb to his head.

Immediately, Jihoon wrote down a few sentences to work on. After this night, he felt like he would be able to do it.

Whenever I can't think, you reassure me.

Whenever I'm frustrated, you present me your ideas.

Whenever I'm out of it, you come to me with your reassuring hands.

The nights I stay up leave you coming to my door, telling me to go to bed, and sleeping on my couch, waiting for me.

My writer's block can only get through the paved pathway when you walk in and take my hand.

Hold me in your arms, whisper soft words, your smile engraved in my heart.

Because of you, the sincerity can speak, and the words from my heart can pour.

Tonight, I can sleep because of you.

My inspiration, motivation, my muse.

After finishing those sentences, Jihoon stretched his arms up into the air. Those sentences would give him so much inspiration when morning comes.

He stood up from his chair and turned off the lights in the studio, leaving full darkness, except the moonlight leaking through the blinds.

Jihoon opened the blinds a little to see and then got on the couch as well, snuggling up to you. He placed his hands around your waist, holding you tightly.

You smiled softly in the dark and wrapped your arms around Jihoon. You could feel his warm, calm breath against your neck.

Jihoon had his eyes closed, feeling your warmth spread throughout his whole body. At that moment, he just knew that everything was going to be alright and that the finished product of the unfinished piece would be sincerely satisfactory.

He was thankful, sincerely, that you loved a man like him.

He was also thankful that he could love such a beautiful person as you.

1: who’s your bias?

I’ve got 2 and a half lmao. I for sure bias Gunil and Goan, but I’m a bit on the fence about Jooyeon. I mean I love him but is it a phase 🤔

2: how did you decide on your bias?

I wanted to see who caught my eye, so I looked at their reveal videos and I was like 🥴🥴 to Jooyeon and Gaon at first, but more and more I was like Gunil 😳😳😳. I watched more videos and I definitely bias Gaon and Gunil, they’re goofy lol, I love it. Gaon also makes me really calm lol. Jooyeon I love but I just dk yet.

6: favorite song and why?

I’m including covers since they made Happy Death Day and dipped with original songs xjsnxnsnxnsn but right now, either Impossible or I’m serious.

7: what’s the first song you heard?

Idk if this counts but Jooyeon’s reveal video with that sick solo, ugh it was so good. That’s how I got hooked lol.

9: have they ever made you cry?

Them being MyDays whenever they sing Day6 songs. Like, a few times I’ve gotten VERY emotional because I realize that Day6 is splitting up (kinda) and they’re not being extremely active as a group anymore, and soon they’ll disband. That just, it breaks my heart, but obviously it’s going to happen. They can’t last forever, but I feel like I’m losing them cjsndnskxnsk like hearing them sing their songs is just like watching Day6 transcend a generation of the genre and like I’m being left in the hands of Xdinary Heroes instead, as silly as that may sound lol. But yeah, that’s how I got emotional fjdjdnsks

Sungjin

You had been waiting for Sungjin to come back from getting his guitar case from where he had left in another room in the JYP building. You guys were going to go on a cute little café date that you surprisingly didn't have to beg for. You had thought he would suggest somewhere else since Wonpil had wanted to go to the same place with him, but he had shut him down saying Cafes weren't really his scene.

You decided to get all his stuff so you could leave quickly, putting it carefully in your bag and placing his beanie on your head with a soft laugh. You were going to open the door of the practice room when you heard two voices conversing just outside the room. You tilted your head when you recognized Sungjin’s voice putting your ear against the wood of the door. You felt your chest tighten when you heard a soft female voice loudly laughing.

You heard the girl giggle and compliment his singing. With shaking hands you tiptoed to look through the little window the door had silently gasping when you saw her hand drift down his arm. You recognized Nayeon from Twice, one of the prettiest girls from one of the most popular girl groups. Her eyes drifted to your eyes peeking from the ledge of the window making direct eye contact when she softly took Sungjin’s hand and asked him if he could give her guitar lessons.

Her eyes then came back to Sungjin, wide and faux in innocence as she slowly blinked at him. Feeling nauseous you couldn't take anymore of the scene stumbling to the other side of the room. You needed to get away or else you felt like you'd burst through that door and smack her for even having the audacity to touch your boyfriend like that. You didn't get to see Sungjin awkwardly pull his hand away telling her he needed to go.

He walked into the room meeting your uneasy smile with a bright one, eyes crinkling when he saw his beanie playfully pulling it down so it covered your eyes fondly letting his finger drift to your cheekbone before taking your hand. Even the cute atmosphere of the café didn't manage to cheer you up. Sungjin immediately noticed your mood leaning towards you when he gently asked what was wrong. Not being able to make eye contact you’d ask him if he was going to give Nayeon the guitar lessons she asked for.

He quickly understood what this was about, almost scoffing at the absurdity of it. He would be silent in the car ride home. Getting to the dorms and he’d pull you to sit down on his bed facing each other and knees touching. He would not allow you to break eye contact when he leaned his forehead against yours nose gently nudging yours as he grasped your hands in his.

“Y/n, love, from now on, I want you to stop tormenting and making yourself unnecessarily suffer like that. What you're feeling and thinking right now is completely wasteful because no matter what, no woman will ever occupy as much space in my heart as you do, no woman can make me feel the way you do. Have trust in me y/n, please.

Sungjin will not hesitate to shut down whatever jealousy you had. He will be blunt and honest with you while still being loving and romantic with you. To be honest, Sungjin thinks it’s stupid you even feel this way, but he wont tell you that.

Jae

Your stomach hurt from having to hold in your laughter curling up in your seat behind the camera, and you had to stifle your laughter with a hand clasped to your mouth. You struggled to catch your breath as a small tear slipped out from the corner of your eye. You had been texting with Jae when he told you he hadn't eaten yet, so you being the kind and supporting girlfriend you were, you had bought food for Jae and everyone in Hwaiting choosing to stay and wait for the recording to finish, so you could go home with Jae.

You hadn't really watched any of the other episodes, so you weren't prepared for the chaos that ensued when going through the games. You could see Jae’s eyes finding their way to your figure, not being able to stop himself from smiling when he saw you laughing. He smiled brighter when you laughed in response to something he had done. He just loved your laugh too much. It did weird things to his chest, and it made his heart feel light.

The recording finished and the show was wrapped up. You clapped lightly saying words of encouragement to everyone with Matthew bringing you into a headlock. You presented them with the food you had bought, a smile making its way onto your face when they all cheered. There was a table everyone could sit at, and you were going to sit next to Jae, but Jamie was able to slide in before you could. You shrugged it off knowing they were close friends, simply taking the seat across from him with a confused smile.

You didn't mind their friendship at all. You had come into Jae’s life after years of them being friends, but as you watched her interact with Jae you couldn't stop the bitter feeling on your tongue. You saw her hitting Jae in the way a child does when they have a crush on someone else, pushing his fork so the food hit his chin and laughing when he complained.

She kept on childishly flirting with him right in front of you. She asked him to go to a new noodle place with her, and told him to reschedule when Jae said he had a date with you on that day which Jae outright refused. You felt like you were about to throw your food at her, so you excused yourself saying you weren't feeling too well. Jae stood up also saying he wanted to leave with you. You were upset, and you let it out on him. When he tried touching you, you pushed him away.

He started asking you what was wrong poking at you and tugging at your arm to which you eventually snapped telling him to go to that stupid noodle place with his friend that didn't seem to understand what a friend was. Jae would be shocked, staring at you with wide eyes before laughing loudly, bending over and clutching his stomach as if he had just heard the funniest thing. Right there in the hallway of this entertainment company, one of Jae’s hands would rest on your shoulder pulling you so that your body was against his, and the other hand would take your chin making you look at him.

“You really think- I can’t go one hour without thinking of you y/n are you crazy? Like did you eat those weird candies Wonpil likes because how could you ever think I’m not constantly wanting to go home so that I can see you. You! No one else! There is nothing on this stupid planet that could ever make me love you less than I do. Not even when you drool in the morning”

The fact that you were jealous would make Jae laugh because him? Paying any kind of attention to any female? that wasn't you? and didn't have your smile or eyes that he loved so much? hah, what a joke.

Young K

When he had first told you that he would be collaborating with a female idol, you had been perfectly fine with it, excited for him even. Even when he told you it would be Sunmi he would be spending hours with, one of the most beautiful and creative idols in the industry, you shrugged your shoulders wishing him luck and telling him to remember to eat. You trusted Younghyun, and you trusted Sunmi to act respectfully since your relationship had been revealed to the public a long time ago.

You hadn't had the chance to meet her seeing as you were busy with your own work. One day, Younghyun sent you a text message asking if you could bring his notebook to the studio seeing as he had written down some ideas he had for the song, and you agreed even offering to bring them snacks. He then responded with “You’re the only snack I need ;)” which you ignored going to the convenience store and buying as many snacks as you could. In your giddiness to see your boyfriend, you forgot to knock opening the door right away.

What you saw made you realize that trust should not be given out freely. You couldn't really hear around the angry haze forming in your mind, but you heard Younghyun talking about the song. You saw her hand placed on his jean clad knee, thumb rubbing the skin exposed by a rip in the cloth, and her hand twirling one of his hoodie strings around her manicured fingers. Younghyun didn't even notice her actions, attention solely placed on the screen in front of him.

You were just about to go and slap her hands away when he noticed you in the doorway, eyes lighting up as he hurriedly stood up greeting you with a chaste kiss and a hand tenderly running through your hair. You could only manage a weak smile in his direction feeling the other female’ s glare aimed at you. You nervously tugged at your ear asking him to talk outside, chest easing up when he immediately agreed. You quickly shut the door not even bothering to talk to the girl in the chair.

You stiffly gave him his notebook and the bag of snacks not being able to look him in the eyes. He was confused at your closed off attitude deciding he would talk about it to you in private where you could tell him in the comfort of your own home. Pressing his lips gently to your forehead, he whispered a “bye” against your skin before turning to go back into the studio.

He was stopped by a hand tugging at his sleeve, and when he turned back around, you would ask him not to go back into the room because if you saw her make one more move on him you weren't sure you could hold yourself back swinging at her. You really wouldn't be able to finish your sentence before you were pushed back into the wall with his mouth desperately seeking yours. After maybe 5 15 minutes, he would lean back heavily breathing and cradling your face in his hands looking at you with sincere eyes.

“I belong to you and no one else. My heart and soul are all yours babe. You are on my mind every single minute you’re not with me. You think I care about other women? That's cute. There is absolutely no way I could ever think of waking up next to anyone else or falling asleep with anyone else by my side.

I’m sorry but I believe Younghyun will be one to take your jealousy that route. He’ll think it’s cute . Actually, he'll find your jealousy kind of hot which he wouldn't dare tell you in fear of sleeping on the couch.

Wonpil

You had actually been away from Korea to go visit your family members. While you felt happy to see your family, you missed Wonpil so much you asked him to send you voicemails talking about random stuff that had happened to him during the day. Even with all the texts and calls, you still depended on those voice mails like they were your lifeline. You just missed his voice...and his laugh...and his touch. You missed him a lot. Your family even teased you about it, noticing your bright smile when you heard from him and calling you “whipped” which you didn't even try denying.

You had been playing with your younger cousins when you got a call from Jae. As soon as you answered him you had to put the phone away from your ear because he started screeching at you about leaving because ever since you left Wonpil had been all mopey and sulky. He had even tried cuddling Jae which Jae took great offense to. That was all you could catch before his screaming became unintelligible.

You heard a slight scuffling on the other side of the room before you heard Sungjin’s calm voice telling you they would be performing at a music show the day you got back. His voice got slightly nervous when he asked you to surprise Wonpil and if you were up to it because he had been down in the dumps lately. You agreed reassuring him you felt energized just by the chance of being able to see Wonpil earlier.

Getting out of the airport and you stopped quickly at your apartment to drop off all your suitcases and bags, and you slipped on one of his sweatshirts you had stolen from him not being able to stop a feeling of warmth in your chest feeling the soft fabric against your skin. Arriving at the venue and you greeted all the members with a big smile asking them where Wonpil was. They nervously looked at each other before pointing at one of the rooms simply telling you he was practicing. Entering the room would make you freeze in surprise because instead of just Wonpil behind the keyboard, Rose from Black Pink was next to him.

You saw his shoulders hunch up a clear sign he was nervous and feeling shy. She really had no shame. She made sure her shoulders and arms were pressed against his, and she giggled whenever their hands bumped. She had the nerve to rest her head on his shoulder while telling him how cute he was. You decided to intervene softly calling his name. Wonpil gasped at the sound of your voice immediately leaving Rose behind to crush you into a hug hiding his face in your neck. You could only smile meekly, one hand coming to wrap around his shoulders, and the other resting on the back of his head lightly massaging his scalp. With Wonpil not facing her direction, she gave you the dirtiest look she could.

You asked her if she could give you guys some alone time to which she rolled her eyes huffing as she left the room. When Wonpil leaned back to look at you with a soft laugh and bright eyes, you couldn't meet him with the same enthusiasm. His eyebrows furrowed asking you what was wrong with a hand coming to brush the skin of your cheekbone. When you told him you didn't like the way Rose was acting with him, you could see the clear disappointment in his eyes. His mouth would down turn in a frown, and he looked at you through his eyelashes as his hands dropped from your body.

“Why would you feel this way? Have I not shown you I love you enough? Have I not told you I love you enough. Have I not given you reason to have faith in our relationship? What did I do to make you think that I care about anyone else when I have you, you who are my everything. Do you not trust me?

Wonpil would be sad because Wonpil is someone who needs a stable and trusting relationship. He would be disappointed because he would think you don't trust him. He would be a bit distant from you for a little bit.

Dowoon

The day had been full of laughter. You and Dowoon had gone out to eat for breakfast. It had been a few days since you really had the time to spend and enjoy time with each other. Every time you caught Dowoon staring at you while talking to him, he would giggle eyes crinkling before looking down at his food. You eventually stood up leaning across the table to look him in the eyes, and he covered your eyes with one hand chuckling lowly and telling you to stop being so cute. He let his hand fall from your eyes to cradle your cheek brushing your hair away from your eyes gently.

You couldn't help but to lean into your touch, your bright eyes meeting his tender ones. You guys decided to go out for a walk around the area where the restaurant was. There was a supermarket with a claw machine where Dowoon wanted to win you a cute plush, but the machine was one of the rigged ones. After the 17th time of Dowoon hitting his head on the glass of the cursed machine, you tugged at his sleeve whining that you wanted to take a walk at the park near the supermarket since the weather was so nice.

You smiled and laughed as the sun basked you in its warmth. Dowoon had to stop you from going and petting every dog with a hand around your shoulders distracting you by letting a finger slip under the collar of your shirt and rubbing the skin between your neck and shoulder. You saw a little boy walking a large dog almost his size, and the dog was so gentle with the kid walking slowly as to not overwhelm the boy’s shorter clumsy legs. You stopped and put a hand on Dowoon’s shoulder whispering a soft “please” to which he immediately let go of you with a warm smile.

You excitedly ran ahead gently greeting the boy and asking what his dog’s name was. Dowoon watched you happily bend down to pet the dog when the child gave you permission with a certain kind of breathlessness racking through his body. You didn't notice his ears tint red when you turned around to brightly smile at him. He was so mesmerized by the sight of you he didn't notice his name called until a hand came to rest on his bicep.

He turned around only to stumble back and bow to who he recognized as Chung Ha. She laughed lightly, her hand coming back to rest on his arm telling him he didn't have to be so formal. She kept complimenting him which made him squirm because she wasn't you. He was getting nervous, and when he got nervous his face got red. You stood up telling the boy bye, and you turned around only for your smile to drop from your face quickly. You recognized the female idol, and you saw Dowoon’s red face which you confused for him being shy and flattered by whatever she was saying. You instantly went up to Dowoon’s side greeting the female with a tight lipped smile before telling her you and Dowoon had to get home before it got dark outside.

You saw the enjoyment in her eyes when she realized you were threatened by her. You tugged at Dowoon’s arm, eyes never breaking eye contact with her until you were far enough. Getting home and you would be silent not letting Dowoon touch you and ignoring him. You were passing by him on the couch when he grasped your hand asking what was up with you. You asked him if he liked the attention he got from Chung Ha with a cold tone. Dowoon tilted his head, tugging at your hand to make you sit on his lap. He looked down at you with a confused gaze. His hand cradled your jaw to make you look up to him.

“Why would I ever want anyone but you y/n? You who smiles as me even with all my flaws. Who never fails to make me happy just by being next to me. How could you ever think I could love someone else the way I love you. You y/n. My lovely y/n. You dummy.”

Dowoon would be so confused. Why would he want someone else that wasn't you. You were everything he wanted. That's why you guys were together. Why would he be as stupid as to ruin the beautiful thing you guys had?

Electric Love - Kim Seungmin

A/N: This is the eighth story in the Electric Love series. If you haven’t already, check out the others here.

You couldn’t believe it when Seungmin told you that he managed to get you guys tickets to see Day6. On the day of the ticket release, you and Seungmin had lucked out on tickets, but somehow, Chan had managed to get them. Unfortunately, but fortunately for you, him and his girlfriend can’t make it anymore, so he gave up the tickets to Seungmin.

You and Seungmin have planned this day out to the tee. You guys were going to meet up at your place in the morning, go out and eat brunch at some fancy place, and then head out towards the venue and wait in line until the venue opens. Then you and Seungmin will be singing your hearts out alongside Day6 and other MyDays.

Earlier in the week, you made Hyunjin come with you to the mall to pick out an outfit to wear for the concert. However, Hyunjin was no help at all. The only thing he did was annoy you by saying that you and Seungmin were going on a date. Hyunjin happened to be the only other person that knew about your little crush on Seungmin. He had practically forced it out of you. Hyunjin being the little dramatic that he was, he clung onto you until you were tired of him and eventually told him.

The morning of the concert, you had woken up earlier than usual. As you were getting ready, you played and danced around to Day6 songs. The makeup look that you had decided to do wasn’t over the top, you went for a soft glam look that would match the outfit that you picked. You had opted for a brown sweater with a collared button up underneath and a plaid skirt with white sneakers. You snapped the finished look to Hyunjin, and he responded with, “You look perfect for your date.” You send him back a picture of you rolling your eyes.

Heading into the kitchen, you go to make yourself a cup of coffee. Once you’ve gotten your cup of coffee, you sit by the kitchen island, waiting for Seungmin to arrive. You scroll through Instagram, checking out your friend’s stories. You see that Seungmin has posted something, and when you click on it, you see that he’s posted a selfie. He’s wearing a white t-shirt with a dark blazer and dark pants. Cute.

You hear the doorbell ring and then the front door opening, you that it’s Seungmin, so you stay seated. “In the kitchen.” You feel Seungmin’s presence come up behind you, “Whatcha looking at?” You show him the video that was playing on your screen.

“You ready to head out?” You get up and put your coffee mug into the sink. You see that your purse is already is in Seungmin’s hand, grabbing it from him, the two of you head out of your apartment.

The place the two of you had chosen to eat brunch at was a small little café that Seungmin had discovered. You guys had ordered quite a few things because you knew you were not going to be able to get dinner. Over the course of brunch, the pair of you discuss how excited you were for later on that night and you take a bunch of photos of each other that you later post on Instagram. Thanks to Seungmin, your Instagram feed was amazing.

After brunch, the two of you made your way to the concert venue. As you arrived at the venue, you had saw that there were already quite a few fans that were waiting. Once you were lined up, you had already started complaining, “Oh gosh, I’m so full. I shouldn’t have eaten the fruit.”

Chuckling, Seungmin responds, “Maybe you shouldn’t have eaten my French toast. Stop complaining, at least you won’t be hungry for a long time.”

You open up your purse and grab a little bag and present it to Seungmin, “Even if I did get hungry later, I have this.” In the little bag, was some snacks that you had prepared for you and Seungmin.

“Of course, you came prepared.” Checking his watch, Seungmin says, “We have five hours until they open doors.”

For the first hour, the two of you watch as the others at the venue do random kpop dances. From your place in line, the two of you dance along with them, well, more like Seungmin danced, you just sung along and did little movements. The next few hours, you guys play small games like I spy and rock paper scissors and make a bunch of small talk with those around you. Unsurprising to you, the wait in the line doesn’t seem long to you. Time with Seungmin always seems to go by fast. You loved being with him, being around him because he was safe space for you. That’s why you were afraid to tell him about your feelings. You didn’t want to ruin what you had in case he didn’t return your feelings, but you were fine with how things were, you didn’t need for him to like you back.

Eventually, your legs ended up tired from standing for hours, so you both sat down on the ground. Seungmin had offered you his blazer to sit on, but you had declined, not wanting to dirty it. Wanting to shut your eyes for a few seconds, you rested you head on Seungmin’s shoulder. The two of you were used to this position because when you were younger and had to ride the bus after school, you were always tired and Seungmin would offer his shoulder. While your eyes were shut, you heard a soft melody come from Seungmin, “What’re you singing?” you ask him, eyes still closed.

“A song I heard from Tiktok. It’s called ‘Electric Love’.”

“Keep singing it, it sounds good.”

Seungmin continues to sing the song to you. You swore Seungmin sung like the angels. His voice was so soothing, you almost fell asleep.

“Hey, don’t fall asleep on me now. We don’t have long until they open doors.” Seungmin was right, there was only a little bit under two hours left until the doors open.

For the next hour, the two of you share the snacks that you brought along. Chan and Jeongin had even called to check up on you guys. Chan telling you guys to have fun and telling Seungmin not to freak out too much. Jeongin had only called to annoy the two of you, but you guys enjoyed the call, even if you did receive a few stares from those around you when Seungmin and Jeongin started arguing.

As time got closer for the doors open, more people had arrived. To avoid getting trampled, you and Seungmin had eventually gotten up. Once the doors had open, people started pushing a shoving. Not wanting to get lost and separate from one another, Seungmin had offered his arm for you to hold onto. You try to hide the blush on your face as the two of you entered the door, only separating during the security check. After passing security check, the two of you rushed to the merch table. You guys had wanted to get t-shirts so that you could commemorate the day. Of course, waiting in the merch line was tiresome as well, but luckily for you guys it didn’t take that long to buy your shirts. After buying your stuff, the two of you headed off to your seats.

The seats the Chan had managed to get were pretty close to the stage, so you had a pretty good view of everything. Upon arriving to your seats, Seungmin had asked to take a picture of you with you with the stage screen in the background. Shyly, you let him and then you offer to take his picture. You barely managed to not scream at how cute Seungmin had looked in all of his picture. You thought it was completely unfair that he was this cute.

While waiting for the concert to start, you two start talking about what songs you couldn’t wait to hear. “Okay, but once I hear ‘I Need Somebody’ I am going to sob,” you tell Seungmin.

Chuckling, he says, “I think you’re going to start sobbing once you see Jae.”

“Okay true, but don’t act like you won’t be sobbing either once you see Wonpil.”

“I never said that I wouldn’t.”

Once the concert had started, you and Seungmin and the other MyDays started screaming. You had yelled out to Seungmin that you couldn’t believe that you were actually seeing them. When you had turned to him, the look on his face had told you that he was too happy to even listen to you. The first song they started off with was ‘Congratulations’. You knew that this song was extra special to Seungmin because him and Jisung and made of cover of this song and posted it on Youtube. Secretly, you listened to the cover every night because their voices were too heavenly. As the night continued on, you guys and the many other people there, sang along with Day6. When they played ‘I Need Somebody’ Seungmin had turned to you to make sure that you weren’t actually sobbing. Even when his favorite band was right in front of him, he still had time to worry about you.

Nearing the end of the concert, ‘I Like You’ started playing. This was actually your favorite song by them, even though you couldn’t do as the lyrics said. However, as you listen to Youngk’s soothing voice, you realize that you couldn’t hide your feelings for Seungmin forever. So, on the spot, you decide that you were going to tell Seungmin after the concert. However, your body moved faster than your brain did, so when you had grabbed Seungmin and turned him to face you, you actually had no idea what you were doing. Seungmin had the biggest smile on his face, and you wanted to be the reason for his smile. Gaining the courage that you needed, you grab Seungmin by his blazer and pull his body close to yours, closing the gap between your lips.

The kiss didn’t last for long because the second Seungmin had started moving his lips against yours, you had pulled away panickily. You couldn’t believe that you done that. ‘I actually kissed him.’ If you were to describe the kiss, you’d describe it as electric. A million thoughts were running through your head now, and you couldn’t even focus on Day6 anymore. In the middle of your internal panic, you feel a tug on your arm. Seungmin had pulled you closer to him and wrapped his arm around your waist. No words were exchanged between the two of you as you stared at him and he stared at Day6, but for you, words weren’t needed, you understood. You snuggle closer to him as you listen to the beautiful melody that floats around the venue, and if Seungmin asks, you definitely did not squeal when he planted a kiss on your temple.

“You know,” Seungmin starts as the two of you stand in front of your front door, “that song I was singing earlier today, ‘Electric Love’ that’s how I feel about you.”
