i have a counter argument to the 'only one person can boop bill' thing, mabel. she's the type of person to slap stickers on people, she would definitely be the type to also boop others occasionally and bill would be no exception. she probably doesn't do it to annoy bill like dipper would, but maybe as a form of a friendly gesture, kind of like those people who will lightly punch friends in the arm when they hang out.
You know what? Good point. Mabel would get away with more than most, as a fun-loving lady! Bill understands those impulses, and being a touchy person! He indulges in similar ones himself.
Though when Bill's not in the mood to be playful and gets booped anyway? The 'sister-in-law' status grants her considerable grace.

I know that was a joke post but now I am genuinely curious what Hannibal would want (and be allowed) to have as his last meal.
let me start off by saying this started one place and took a huge turn (sorry) but... this got me thinking. my assumption is he was tried in maryland. maryland abolished the death penalty in 2013, but if he was tried under federal and not state, death penalty is still technically on the table in all 50 states.
unlike other states, maryland does not offer a special last meal to those about to be executed, and they are offered whatever is on the menu at the prison they are residing. i don't think that if he was charged federally it would have necessarily changed his food situation.
given that hannibal was held at bshci, he probably would have had whatever they were serving that day. we saw in s2 with will that it wasn't anything particularly exciting. canned/processed/boxed food. the more gourmet meals he got while imprisoned were definitely due to a special deal he had with alana. it's not directly specified in the show to my knowledge, but pretty sure he got special privileges for helping her and margot. but also if it means hearing him complain less, all the better.
that being said, there is a chance alana would break the maryland tradition and actually offer him a special meal. most requests deny alcohol or tobacco, but again, we're humoring a special meal.
now for the fun part. obviously hannibal wouldn't be given human meat. some inmates in other states asked not only for a meal but to share the meal with someone. and i think hannibal would definitely request to have a last meal with will since the last meal they had together (at least on screen) was the meal before mizumono.
and i think it would be well within the realm for hannibal to want to recreate this meal, maybe even going so far as to ask to make it himself. +/- if alana would allow for that, maybe if everything was precut and he wasn't near anything sharp. if he wanted will to share the meal with him, i'd be curious to see what will would do. he'd know hannibal was on death row, it'd be all over the news, jack would tell him, etc. and i think he would seek out the result of hannibal's trial if he was not sitting in the room as he was sentenced. knowing he indirectly put him there, and i'd place bets on him opening that hand written letter asking for his company one last time and he'd go to see hannibal and share that meal with him. to dine one last time together.
and i wonder how each of them would see it. will never answering if he wanted a sacrifice, yet one now sat across from him. how during the mizumono meal, will said "that'd make this our last supper" to which hannibal responds "of this life" which now truly is the last meal of this life, of hannibal's life. maybe for will, too, in a way. for how good could food taste or sate knowing your conjoined, blurred half is about to die, and that nagging guilt in your chest that it's your fault. and the question of if they could survive separation. and maybe the question was more up in the air when it was possibly hannibal who had to live without him, but now will is faced with the reality that he has to live without hannibal. and in some alternate life it would have been easier to stay with his wife and never see hannibal, but knowing he was alive was enough, and he'd no longer have that crutch.
but hannibal seeing it as almost a redo for before the slaughter in his kitchen. going back to a moment they had some peace, even if brief, life as he knew it was brief now. but still, someone he loved, the only person he loved, sitting across from him eating and drinking wine together. maybe in silence, i don't know. smiles would be exchanged; hannibal's genuinely happy and will's a bit sad. to be so fully and deeply and intimately seen. now there was no running away together anymore. will would leave and hannibal could only hope will would go to his execution.
and i think will would go. i don't know if it would be a "want" situation, but a "need". to see hannibal lecter taken down almost so effortlessly. the unkillable finally killed. the man he couldn't shoot the two times he had a gun in his face, the man he dropped his gun for and let himself be gutted and held by, the man he pulled a knife on and still couldn't take down. ultimately, in a way, will took him down. hannibal surrendered because will rejected him. will didn't need a weapon, he just needed words and a closed off heart. and within minutes, it'd be over.
but what happens after? the remains of inmates not claimed by family get kept in the prison cemetery. hannibal has no family to claim him, will is the closest to family he has. but what if will claims him, then what? will doesn't know what hannibal's final wishes are; to be cremated, buried? maybe he does know without hannibal having to explicitly say. to eat you like the sacrificial lamb you are.
my guess is a body executed via lethal injection (chosen method for maryland) would not be safe to eat. sodium thiopental is a barbituate like the one used for animal euthanasia, but it isn't the part of the "cocktail" that actually causes death. i know animals euthanized (with a different barbituate) and eaten can kill the animal that eats them, so there is a chance eating hannibal could do the same thing. consuming potassium chloride (the deadly part of the injection) in large quantities can cause a lot of side effects/health detriments and in theory, eating enough can cause cardiac failure, but i don't know the oral bioavailabity in comparison to iv.
as romantic as it seems, i don't think will would eat hannibal knowing it could kill him, and tbh, i don't see hannibal wanting will to knowing his death might be imminent. even if it meant being together in the afterlife, that wasn't how will was going to die. like yeah "death only by my hand" but it's not the same. maybe part of will's punishment is having to stay alive without him. i do think hannibal might if the roles were reversed, though.
if will ended up giving hannibal a graveplot (probably unmarked so it doesn't end up desecrated), or even sprinkling his ashes somewhere, i know will would visit him again. maybe not for awhile, maybe denial or anger, but he would go back. i know hannibal said he could never go back to lithuania, so maybe will takes him there and buries him next to mischa so they can be together, finally and forever. maybe he doesn't take him home, knowing how much hannibal stayed away when he was alive. there are a lot of things will could do, tbh.

There's just something about how when Will woke up in the hospital in season 3, he asked the doctor for water, and then when he gets shot in Florence, Hannibal immediately gets him a drink without him even having to ask.

On the train of your last ask, what are your thoughts on dragons sexuality?
Personally I think he’s Demi something (more attracted to personality than looks or gender)
Honestly because we don't know that much about the guy it's kind of hard for me to form an opinion, and if Crocodad Real then we're going to find out his orientation eventually (since we gotta find out if that was a contributing factor to the Dragodile Divorce (assuming they're divorced)) so I'm kind of okay with not forming any headcanons, since the headcanon could get thrown out the window
If anything, what interests me is how Dragon's orientation could impact the story-- like when I've discussed the Dragodile Divorce I have mainly focused on speculating how Crocodile would've felt about it, but how Dragon felt about that is interesting too
Because if he's straight then yeah that probably contributed to The Divorce, but how did Dragon feel about it? Learning that the love of his life is now happier than ever before after transitioning and being happy for him, while also losing the version of Crocodile that he fallen in love to begin with? No longer feeling thet draw to him because of the thing that has brought him so much joy and comfort? Knowing that even if they did take down the WG the family Dragon had hoped to have would never come to be, because their relationship would now end? And that it would be on some level his fault, because he's not attracted to Crocodile anymore?
Like even if Dragon took things well and the divorce happened "on good terms", it would've been sad for Dragon too.
But then there's a slightly juicier option, because what if Dragon was bi, but the Divorce happened under unpleasant circumstances (be it Dragon lashing out or things getting violent because he couldn't recognize Crocodile) and he didn't figure it out until it was too late?
Because you'd still have Dragon going through some if not all of those previously mentioned feelings, of having to come to terms with the version of his significant other whom he had fallen in love with no longer existed, the family had pictured in his mind would never become a thing, that those things were be kind of his fault and that he had hurt Crocodile deeply in the process.
But then he'd be looking at some news article of Crocodile's most recent heroic stunt, seeing his handsome face with that usual, unbothered expression, and realizing he still loved him? That he still wanted to be with him, wished they were together, even now that Crocodile was a far more handsome man than he was? And then the realization that he's bi hitting him like a fucking truck
But it's too late. The divorce already happened. He already hurt Crocodile too deeply. Knowing Croc, he had probably already moved on. There was no fixing it, the relationship was over. At least for now, trying to go see Croc could be dangerous due to the WG and not wanting to risk the WG finding out about them and The Kid and Croc would probably be furious if Dragon even risked that at this point, after what he had done.
Oh, and then Crocodile killed thousands of innocent people attempting to usurp a country by manufacturing a civil war. Something Dragon can't forgive. (Not to mention, hearing he had been taken down by their own son... Oof)
But what if despite all that, and not knowing the full circumstances behind what had happened (like the fact that Crocodile didn't know who the hell Luffy was), Dragon still loved Crocodile? What then?

Death note au idea where light just keeps time travelling back at random timelines and now he has to figure out how to get out of the loop(?) Before he goes insane.
Like the first time it happens, after he dies at the staircase, he wakes up and its the day he got the death note. At first he was confused and terrified, but still decides to use the death note since he believes that this might be a second chance for him. Now he plans to do it much more carefully. He was able to throw off L so many times by avoiding to make the mistakes, the slip ups, that he did on the previous timeline. The game of out witting each other. But he was caught again because he let raye penber and naomi misora live. He dies and wakes up again but at his classroom.
He wakes up disoriented, after all he got shot again but not by matsuda but by his father. He remembers the death note, looks around and doesn't see it fall. He thinks that maybe it's not the date yet when the death note falls. But when he hears the news about the killings. The heart attacks and thinks that someone else now has the death note and they're not just killing criminals but also innocent people. Eventually he teams up with L, to catch kira. They bond, often throwing theories at each other and fighting. Although, he slips up and mentions something that makes him look suspicious, L starts to get suspicious of him. I'm thinking he either gets executed or he dies because of the other kira.
Then he wakes up, and he's behind the prison bars, looking around he eventually realizes that he's at the time where he asked to be confined. He hears the speaker open, and it's L, asking him if he's alright. He glares at the camera, almost snarling before stopping himself. This isn't the L from the previous timeline. If he is kira in this timeline he doesn't want to dig his grave even further. He hears ryuk complaining and moaning about being bored and also apples. Should he risk it? He doesn't know if when he gives up the death note would he still remember the previous timelines but he doesn't, he might convict himself of being kira.
(Alright, my brain is fried, I have no clue how to continue this. But if u get the idea its probably a slow burn lawlight (or not?) Where after looping from different timelines, he slowly becomes crazy and for some reason L, despite not knowing about the looping, is the one that keeps him sane. The one that somehow changes their actions. Not predictable. That when he goes back from the timeline where he's dead, he couldn't even enjoy it. Even after beating near at his own game, he couldn't enjoy it. That's why when he goes back to the timeline where light stops mid speech of explaining the connection of kira killings to yotsuba, he just stares at L. In disbelief, and without hesitation, hugs him or something. )
That is all, thank you.

Thoughts on 3rd life mirror birds. 3rd life big dogs. 3rd life property police. They fascinate me and I think you have thoughts on them but I might be wrong..either way
i do in fact have thoughts on them but i think if i talk about 3l!flower husbands publicly any more rn I’ll get so self conscious I’ll explode on the spot. this being said i have still yet to watch evo but its been on my list for forever bc of 3l!property police specifically… i really love martyns petty grudge against jimmy for those first two episodes he acts like he’s 12 and really pissed off on the playground. anyways i think that martyn going from being concerned for his friend to Just Fucking Lying to split up Scott and Jimmy, because he took personal offense to Jimmy being unwilling to drop everything to go live with him on the spot is the funniest thing in the world. Girl it’s not about you

random thing for @magnifiico bc Amaya was feeling so very full of love that she needed to express T~T 💖💕
In Rosas, nothing captured the citizens' hearts like wish ceremonies—and their king who performed them.
Amaya felt the people's pure, wholehearted joy like an ocean wave over her back as she departed the stage alongside her husband. It melded with her own; blooming bright in her chest, stronger than the cheers echoing into the castle.
As the doors shut behind them, Amaya took one of Magnifico's hands between her own, drawing them both to a stop. With a warm smile resting upon her lips, her thumbs stroked gently over his skin, and, for a moment, she merely gazed at the hand she held.
To think of how far they had come...How tirelessly her beloved had worked—and still did, each and every day—to make Rosas a safe haven. All to protect not only their people, but their most precious hopes and dreams.
"You are...incredible," Amaya murmured. When her eyes lifted to meet his, they shimmered with such pride, such a depth of love that put the collective devotion of every citizen of Rosas to shame. "It's no wonder that our people adore you, as do I."

So I realized a while back I had this internalized nagging resentment towards Beyoncé and the beehive and I think it's coming down to a few factors that piled up over time. And none of those have anything to do with Beyonce herself but everything to do with her fanbase.

I've read your tags about Nadia and I thought "welcome to the club!" (😆) I have very mixed feelings about her route too, for (almost) the same reasons! It's a shame, I wish I could appreciate more but it felt too much like the devs were alleviating the wrong of her actions and making her a perfect dom girlboss 😔
OH MY GOD, RIGHT??? THANK YOU, UGH 😭😭
I absolutely hate how she gets glorified by the narrative and some fans as this perfect goddes while she's just as childish, arrogant and entitled like Valerius and Lucio are. Really obnoxious that those two get rightfully villanized by the game but that with Nadia we're getting tied to a chair and spoon fed the narrative that she has never done anything wrong in her life.
The canon tells us over and over again that's she's a disgustingly rich monarch that married a tyrant on purpose just to try and steal his land as some kind of pet project to prove herself in front of her family and to enflate her own ego, but the moment Lucio didn't let her monopolize everything she started to close herself in her rooms to take naps just like a child throwing tantrums?
AND when she wakes up she keeps blaming her husband and the courtiers for Vesuvia's downfall as if she didn't have any sort of responsability towards the people of the city she decided to rule. Like... yikes. Am I supposed to think she's a good leader or even just a nice person?
Again: all of this is fine, great even. I love flawed characters and shitty people, Lucio and Valerius are my absolute favorites. But I find really pathetic these double standards in the narrative. I'll say it: it feels performative, fake and tokenizing. Not that I would expect any less by Nix Hydra.
Allow Nadia to be a fully fledged person with flaws and faults of her own, cowards.
I legit thought that her route would have been about her acknowledging her entitlement and neglet towards the city but appartenly the biggest conflict between her and MC was about her *checks notes* ... paranoia.
... ok.
Paranoia that she was right to have anyway because Valerius was literally just around the corner ready to stab her in the back, so??
What was the point.
Awfully written route. She would have worked great as the morally grey character/kinda shitty person she is, but I guess the devs were too busy to pat themselves on the back to do that.

Mayhem occurs often in places like that — where embers trace the revival of the wildest fires incrusted in the flesh of everyone. Typical, one may think. It's almost the same: drinks, songs, other substances into play … all to numb everyday life and it's toll. To devour what it's necessary for survival, letting the greed grow bigger to claw itself to the very core. Predictably, the woman could only feel apathy towards those who waste such luxuries away.
That's the reason she stands before him, all in a place she does not belong to. Where she does look out of her element and yet, it's chaotic to be this calm, to have learnt to swim with sharks. It's odd. It's casual. The woman had to lift a strand of the red dress and move the other hand to see how much of the drink was left before speaking. "Of all the people, finding you there… It's a surprise. I cannot say if I like it, or not." <3
☣ — BRIGHTLY COLORED LIGHTS FLASHED CONTINUOUSLY AS MUSIC PLAYED LOUDLY THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING, followed by the movement of various bodies dancing to the almost hypnotic beat — often leading for one to be bumped into by the growing crowd of the drunk and high, something many didn't seem to mind within this kind of environment — the smell of cigarettes and weed mixing together with the smell of sweat was something he certainly didn't enjoy. It was something he could deal with though, at least for the time he was here... after all, he couldn't exactly run a nightclub or bring in new customers if he wasn't present to entice all the new faces into coming back on a regular basis, especially when it came down to the ladies. They were the prime targets. It was always so easy to wrap his arm around them and whisper all the sweet little things they wanted to hear into their ears, always making them want more than what they were worth. After all, it wasn't like they actually wanted him, they just wanted the money and power that was affiliated with his family name. Just like everyone did. Thus why it was so easy for him to reach into the bag and pull out one of his many facades, changes faces on a daily basis simply for the sake of getting what he wanted. The savvy business man, the charitable philanthropist, the genius scientist, the compassionate doctor, the stone-cold assassin, the team playing soldier, and most of all, the fun loving neighbor. None were exactly who he was deep down on the inside, but rather parts of him that he wished to be.
☣ — Fits of laughter rang out loudly, COMING FROM NONE OTHER THAN THE WOMAN SWARMED AROUND HIM — hands gently brushing upon his shoulders or grabbing upon his arms, something the absolutely couldn't stand (oh how badly his body wished to retract into itself to avoid all of the unnecessary touching, it took all he had not to push them off of him — instead keeping the charming smile present upon his face (even if it looked like it was straining). But all of his willpower alone could not prepare him for the sight he saw just ahead of him. Sakura colored hair, amaranthine eyes, and a beautiful red dress. The woman in question being none other than Crystal, his beloved wife, the very one who was back at the estate only moments ago. All of the charm and wit previous had completely vanished, his body only served to grow tense the longer he stared at her — he should have expected something like this, after all... Crystal had always been an explorative woman — he could feel the beads of sweat roll down his face and the hair on the back of his neck stand up. So with a quick movement, he pulled himself away from the gaggle of woman around him and slowly made his way over to the other.
☣ — 'You have to confront her.'
'You have to explain to her.'
'You have to think of something to say to her.'
'You have to reassure her about everything.'
HE HAD TO DO SOMETHING TO MAKE SURE THERE WOULDN'T BE COLLATERAL DAMAGES FROM WHAT SHE HAD JUST WITNESSED IN THAT MOMENT, or else there would be trouble.
☣ — "I can explain," his voice comes forth rather softly when he speaks, ALMOST BEING COMPLETELY DROWNED OUT BY THE BLARING MUSIC OVERHEAD, "it's not what it looks like, okay? I'm just working." He isn't sure if what she says means she's angry or simply surprised, but regardless... he feels as if he owes her this much. "I'm only here to bring in new customers and... the women here are easy targets for that. They clamor around anyone who looks attractive enough and has money, so I decided to use it to my advantage. I never intended to do anything more than that, in case I've possibly upset you." Yet no matter how much he tries to talk his way out of this, he can feel the overwhelming sensation of unease welling within the very pits of his stomach. It's a strange feeling, something that he isn't used to experiencing. It was akin to something a child would feel when they'd been caught doing something they shouldn't, except this felt ten times more overpowering. Perhaps because he wasn't a child who had been caught by a parent, but because he was a grown man being caught by the woman he loved the most. Caught doing something that he didn't even truly care for. "You know that I love you and that I'll always love you, more than anyone here. More than anyone ever! I would never do anything to hurt you and if you don't believe me, ask me to do anything and I will." Voice beginning to fill with the sound of panic, a truly bizarre trait for the man of raven hair — because not once did he ever lose his cool during any situation, so long as it wasn't about his grandfather's death — arms crossing over one another as hands begin to tightly grip at the fabric of his black suit, fingers digging further and further into the skin hidden underneath.
☣ — OH, how he hated this feeling. He hated everything about it and wished she would simply say something already. It was dangerous how much of a hold she had on him without even needing to say much of anything, but then again, that's what happens when someone who's broken and obsessive falls for someone who knows how to get what she wants.
