Hear me out now Y’all- I haven’t seen it done in the slightest and it’s prolly already like taken or something, but like hear me out. Enemies to lovers?!? Kenshi x Johnny type shit here??? Perchance???

Samurai: Honest, compassionate, polite, fantastic swordsman, selfless, respectful, rooted deeply in tradition(?), strong moral compass, would much rather not fight, possibly a bit uptight depending, good etiquette(?), really loyal, possibly good in different forms of martial arts if you wanna add more to it??, extra points if they’re recovering from being “evil” or from hurting a lot of people/have a dark and mysterious past

Cowboy: The over the top, gunslinging, firecracker personality, extremely creative and outside the box thinker, possibly good in fistfights(?), fantastic aim(guns n shit), possibly more “modern” ways of thinking(less traditional), very much rowdy and easygoing, good with animals and such, bonus points for Southern Drawl, also really loyal, brawler

Idk yall im running on like three hours of sleep and I’ve been thinking abt this lol. I have no idea if this already a thing but if not then it is now bitches hyeheheyeyehye.

Anyways- how I pictured ppl could use this dynamic is maybe in a sort of Johnshi(Johnny Cage x Kenshi Takahashi from Mortal Kombat) relationship dynamic- could be platonic or romantic up to writer ig. But yeah so I could see it as the wild, golden-hearted cowboy meeting the emotionally drained/tormented samurai somehow meet and they just fucking HAAATEE each other. Samurai thinks Cowboy is waaayyy too free-spirited and way too open with his speech(possibly insulting a person of importance in front of everyone? Maybe this even earns the royal’s respect and the Samurai is appalled and confused!) whereas the Cowboy thinks the Samurai is way too uptight and rooted in traditions.

Perhaps they even get into some wacky ass fucking shenanigans which forces them closer together until they have to face their feelings towards each other. Idk man this sounded better in my head lol

story idea: person gets trapped in a mystical world with magical creatures, is scared and nervous. A magical wolf finds them, looks ethereal and good, says to follow them.

person follows because the wolf looks good and trustworthy. loses track of wolf eventually, is in the middle of a dark forest surrounded by who knows what. stumbles into a creature of some sort thats absolutely massive, and aggressive.

person tries to run but the thing is right behind it. person almost gets wholloped by the thing, but a dark creature jumps in between and begins fighting the aggressor.

dark creature is very evil looking, and person is scared beyond all wits.

dark creature eventually scares aggressor off, and person runs away. person tries to survive in this new world, and is constantly looking for the ethereal wolf because they looked good.

has multiple run-ins with aggressive creatures, only to have the dark looking evil one step in each time, protecting them.

person begins to realize that something in this world isn't quite right, and decides to confront the dark creature that came to their aid so many times...

Just imagine quaritch comes back from the battle with Jake, the admiral although very disappointed says she has something to show him, confused he follows her through the base. They come to the other side of a two way mirror, inside the room? Two teen Navi kids not true Navi tho, they’re like him, no older than 16, confused he turns to the admiral a questioning look apparent on his face. She doesn’t even spare him a glance “turns out sullys brother had kids, after Jake went rogue the RDA decided to take them into custody as a sort of back up plan” quaritchs eyebrows shoot up, a rare expression of surprise dancing across his usually stoic features “with all due respect ma’am, why?” The blonde woman nods her head ready for the question “they’ve been in cryo for years, with your recent failure” his ears pull back flat against his head wincing at her harsh tone “ we’ve decided to give this a go, see if his long lost niece and nephew can persuade him to hand himself in” quaritch nods, it could work but what does it have to do with him? “Although you failed to complete your mission last time, you’re still one hell of a solider so I’m giving you ONE more chance to redeem yourself, you’ll be in charge of the kids- do whatever is necessary to complete the mission, pretend to love ‘em or hate em I don’t care just get. It. Done.”

Will quaritch complete the mission? Will this end like him and spider? Will he have a change of heart? Idk 🤷‍♀️

I finally worked out how reaver’s immortality with the shadow court works in my wacky fucked up version of fable

it basically just messes with the beginning of his story

so since hes the product of a fairy king getting shitfaced and a seraphim taking pity, hes already immortal, but his kids arent. (The child in this case being Fawn.) so he summons the shadow court to hopefully grant her immortality instead. but he wasnt specific and didnt tell them it was for her. so they…take it as he…wants it for himself, and so they strip away his freely-given immortality that he has had since birth and replace it with the immortality that comes with the price of others’ youth.
