The transit South Node, in my experience, brings such beautiful healing. And it’s not like a Pluto transit where you have to be cracked completely open first. No, it’s more like just finally finding the strength to let go of a belief, habit or any other type of pattern in your consciousness that hasn’t been working out for you.

It’s funny because my natal South Node seems to be hell bent on keeping me sucked down in an unhealthy and very unproductive focus on its house. But transit South Node gets nothing but my praise, because its transit on my Moon and Pluto in Scorpio, followed by its current transit on my Black Moon Lilith in Libra, is really just the prescription I needed to help sweep away detrimental self beliefs and stubborn trauma responses that had been compromising my lunar security for ages. And I’m honestly struck by how graciously and almost painlessly it’s been managing to do it.

There is a lot of info out there saying South Node transits can bring the pain. But maybe if you’re someone whose consciousness tends to be in the past anyway, then the South Node can just provide assistance to help you finally let go of beliefs, responses or habits you’ve known for ages are no longer serving you. Maybe these transits are only painful if one has to be confronted with ways they weren’t even aware they needed to let go.

My 9th house Scorpio Moon no longer feels like it has a chokehold on the entire rest of my chart, due to the toxic self beliefs I learned from my nurturing. There is space to form new beliefs now. And my Black Moon Lilith in Libra can finally see herself as capable and worthy of being in loving partnership. This transit of the South Node has really shown me the face of my Lilith in her power; not the face of her when she abandons her power and self sabotages.

Anyone else have any observations about what the South Node in Libra, Scorpio (or any sign!) has done for them? The lunar Nodes can be such a critical force from all that I can see. They’re so worth paying attention to in transit, and especially if the Nodes are big in your chart or if you are a lunar person.

Critical Criticism

Monday - July 4, 2022

I can observe critically with being critical ... a skill many seem to either have lost or don't care about. Call it the difference between observing something and "judging" it.

You can't begin to know or define your world until you observe it. But observing it is only half the battle, for not everything you see if actually "what" you see.

Today the Moon is in Virgo, the sign of analyzing in deep and detailed ways in order to understand. However, Virgo can also be a very judgmental and overly critical sign. So while it can be a great energy for research, it can also invalidate its own research by making judgments before it has all the facts.

Remember this today as we start the day with Mars at 29° Aries, a degree that tests how you use power, force and energy. Later in the day Mercury moves to 29° Gemini, testing how you use your thinking powers, and what comes out of your mouth. Given that both planets are in their home signs, this makes them more powerful, and the tests "bigger."

And toward the end of the day the North/South Nodes move to 20° Taurus/Scorpio. This sets us up for 20 days of protecting our feelings from the criticisms of others. It will be up to you to determine if those criticisms are valid, and if anything can be gained by them.

So there's a lot of energy out there today that's being tested. Use it properly - critically, with being critical - and you will gain much wisdom today.

Accuracy dependent on ENTIRE natal chart. Take this as entertainment. Theories not facts.

🪻 The planets you have in your first house can drastically change other people’s perception of your beauty. This can change your direction & outlook on life.

- Bella Hadid has Venus & Moon in her first house. These planets create a soft & feminine energy. She has a huge female following. She makes people comfortable and at ease. She appears as the definition of a girl’s girl. To other women, she is not someone to be intimated by. Instead, she is someone to look up to like a big sister.

- Megan Fox has Mars conjunct ASC. This kind of beauty isn’t soft, girl-next-door. It’s bold, hot & striking. Fox’s appearance can bring out insecurity & jealously. And if you remember early on in her career, she received a lot of unnecessary bullying. She was judged harshly by women and objectified by men. This can lead to an isolating experience which can make one take on the negative traits of Mars (being competitive, selfish, arrogant and aggressive). However, I am not claiming she is. I do not know her but I do remember the hate she got in the early 2010s.

- Another example would be Sidney Sweeney who is believed to have Mars conjunct ASC. Just recently an older female producer insulted Sweeny for “not being pretty” and claiming she “can’t act”. However, Sweeney’s ascendant sign is not confirmed by a good source. So this hate may be due to other placements or transits.

Having malefic planets in the first house can be terrible for this reason. You could not say a word to a person but your appearance can trigger a nasty reaction from them.

🌻 Ketu in 1st/Rahu in 7th people can marry a foreigner or marry on foreign land. These people may encounter cheaters in their relationships. When single they tend to become very frustrated. Almost angry. They may be obsessed with ex partners, friends or business partners. It is likely these people have to go to court several times through their lives. Generally, I see they often “win” in court.

🌺 Virgo Moons can hate expressing emotion. They don’t want others to know how they feel. Being vulnerable is extremely uncomfortable for them. Depending on the entire chart, they may not be good at hiding their emotions hidden.

🍀 Gemini energy is prone to mimic. For ex. gemini placements like gemini rising may take on accents without realizing it when they visit foreign places. Or if one has planets in their gemini 7th house, they may accidentally dress similar to their partner.

🌸 Jupiter in 10th without affliction can indicate the father being a mentor in your career. You may go into the same career as him. Or pick a career you know will make your father proud. These people often reach very high status in their career.

🪻 Mercury opposite mercury is the worst aspect to have in synastry imo. When the communication style is so different, these people can unintentionally be hurting the other with their words. Even when they agree and share similar values, they can still struggle to see eye to eye. In most cases, I see this resulting in ghosting. Often due to one party becoming frustrated with the other.

🌺 Aries energy is so physical. It’s such a generic example but a lot of aries sun I see are constantly play fighting. The men even share the same habit of starting to shadow box for no reason lol. Whenever I notice this behaviour in someone, I always guess they have prominent aries placements and so far always correct.

I can see that you may need to be patient with yourself and others. Maybe, you already learn how to spend more time within yourself or learning about your self-worth. Part of you know but it seems like material may tell you how to express yourself. Sexuality may be attached to money in sort of. Don't be possessive of your possessions? You want to connect more with spirituality. Go to nature if you ever feel lost. You don't need to follow what others expect of you. Be patient with yourself and listen to what your body is saying.
