Get to know me!

Hi hiii. I got tagged by @thou-art-of-the-stars to make answer a couple of ice-breaking questions.

Favourite colour: Blue! Specially those electric blues or really deep blues, like a really clean sky or high night.

Song stuck in my head: gqtis - POOR 2

Last song I listened to: Dxrk - RAVE

Three favourite foods: Cucumber with lemon and spicy sauce/powder; rice with things (I cannot choose a single combination); and grapes; green grapes specifically.

Last thing I searched online: Terezi Pyrope tree

Dream trip: Probably somewhere that has a more temperate summer

Anything I want right now: I want some motivation to finish some things that I need to finish

That color post ironically hit on how people name and see color, reds tend to be near first because blood. Some cultures have greens hyper specialized with very specific names, often its noted how naming a specific shade makes it easier to notice it.

Like to us we see yellow orange red but if we didnt live in a red identifying culture you'd probably call it yellow red red

Anyway I think I read a thing before that implies in western Europe and related colonies we colloquially teach less terms for blues and greens, artists will learn a lot more of course.

although "artist vs laymen" i have to edit my own version because am artist, bad at colors though,so its funny how many of these just look like minor variations on the same shade even though they're like. pretty far away actually.

and yeah!! the more names we have for Blue the more Blue we see- like that "how we see colors' sheet is missing so many blues (and indigos) to me just because i got really into "cyan blue indigo violet purple magenta" when i was younger jfgsadhfjk

Fire Emblem characters often puzzle me in design, like the exposed belly button, or the short-shorts, or the open jacket on the shoulders being held up by seemingly nothing. The fire sword is neat. King K. Rool is an interesting character because he’s one of those guys who has a huge identity crisis, but also rocks it somehow. He’s mostly portrayed as a king, probably because of his name. Hikari likes the idea of being a king.

Hikari as Mythra! I like her Christmas-tree-like sword. I’ve decided to end Daily Hikari here as the point of the project was to get better with my new tablet, and I feel I am at a level where I am comfortable and am ready to make comics again. I have a big project pretty far into development and it stars Hikari! I’ll be posting stuff related to it any time I feel like I have something worth sharing.
