HERE ARE 55 FANFIC IDEAS/PROMPTS (some detailed, some not) that i wrote down in google docs to make septicinnit fics for but never did actually made full fics of; some are short one sentence ideas and others are full plots!!!

I posted these because there was a time period where we were super hyperfixated on writing together (almost like a d&d roleplay but you're yourselves and also it's just text) as like our main bonding hobby and wrote down way too many fucking ideas- we don't rlly write like that anymore (we do other stuff when we hangout or have dates) and so most of these have been sitting in our google docs for a long time and i felt bad abt wasting them. now though!!! they won't rot away in the secret depths of google docs!!!

soulmates switch bodies, (through TIME) on a specific birthday. So, when tmy turns (age), he switches bodies with a s3án of the SAME age. Neither of them will remember the experience after, so it's their job to leave clues or enlist friends to help them track their Soulmate down. tmy's friends gather the night before his birthday and vow to figure out who his soulmate is and help him find them. (Past!s3án is very confused about all the things that have changed (tech, gay marriage being legal) and also very awkward because he's still an anxious bean.) (can you tell we wrote this one after a Your Name rewatch)

2. THEY MAKE A LONG FURBY TOGETHER!!!!! They both help design, scrap, sew and put it together by hand, and they decide on a name together, and it ends up becoming their sort of child and now they’re gay parents of a long furby (maybe they aren’t together when they decide to make it but they end up bonding over the furby and it helps them get together in a way??)

3. Coffee Shop AU where s3án is the owner and barista at T0p 0f Th3 M0rn1ng C0ff3e, which in the fic is an actual physical coffee shop. tmy becomes his first regular customer and also flirts with him over the counter a lot.

4. The five times tmy tries to hit on s3án and fails miserably (except shhh no he doesn't), and the one time he’s actually successful.

5. Sickfic again (I wrote one already) but it’s established relationship and S3án'S one who gets sick this time. Tmy is very determined to take good care of him, help walk him around the house when/if he needs it, make him soup, etc. Maybe he tries to cook but is kind of bad at it and S3án eats it anyway. Maybe tmy brushes his hair out of his face to check his temperature,,, hhhh fluff

6. tmy and s3án going to the movies and having a good time. That's it. That's the prompt.

7. s3án teaches tmy about The Wheel Of The Year and a bunch of celtic pagan traditions and stories (and some catholic ones, of course, bc he grew up in that too) and tmy EATS THAT SHIT UP bc anything remotely s3án-related is precious to him

8. Tmy finds out that there's services where you can just. Pay to go on a date with some guy (or other person), like a rental-boyfriend type thing. He’s like, “Yeah. I can go on a date with some guy to try it (being gay) out. Why not?” and while you can make requests, he decides, “fuck it, why browse the catalouge and make myself more anxious, I’ll just have them send some random guy”. Turns out, s3án works there part-time. Also turns out, he gets selected to go be tmy’s date. Oops.

10. tmy pretending to purr every time s3án shows him affection to be annoying

11. They keep fucking flirting on stream and everyone is so annoyed because they will NOT stop hitting on each other and playing it up and it’s like. “Get a fucking room ohh my god,,,”

12. S3án goes to a party with his friends and uses an ouija board, but this accidentally lets tmy into the human realm where he follows him home and haunts him!!!! Does silly shit like moving magnets on the fridge to spell penis or drinking all the milk or going just solid enough to throw a pillow at him and then becoming un-physical again so he can’t retaliate. (the pranks and haunting are actually just bc he thinks S3án is cute tho. And S3án ends up warming up to it.)

13. s3án is TRYING to make cookies but tmy keeps attempting to steal batter from the bowl, and it escalates into a food fight for the history books (ofc they have to clean up after)

14. MAKING 👏 PLAYLISTS👏 FOR 👏 EACH 👏 OTHER 👏👏

15. tmy’s anxiety gets out of hand and he starts overworking himself. s3án’s been there (I mean, he used to upload every day for christ’s sake) and so he does his best to help.

16. s3án is crushing on tmy and gets pretty upset about tmy flirting with…. every guy ever on twitter (and also on stream) but tries to hide it. tmy realizes he's jealous/pining and confronts him about his feelings.

17. Animal Hybrid Au where tmy's like. A Feral cat (or smthn like that. Maybe a vulture instead?) and keeps bringing s3án (human or more domestic animal) dead things and at first s3án’s very put off by it but he warms up to it over time

18. tmy wants to do a storytime vlog of his first kiss but realizes he's technically never kissed anyone on the lips, so tries to convince s3án to kiss him (on camera) for the clout. 

19. s3án gets into an argument with someone who's saying mean shit about tmy, and they turn to insulting s3án instead (maybe even making threats). It is at this point that tmy conveniently stumbles upon the conversation and immediately tries to THROW HANDS

20. tmy going to a party, having a hangover, and then s3án caring for him and helping him get better.

21. s3án helping tmy when he wants to try painting his nails for the first time <<<3

22. tmy tries to be flirty/romantic to s3án in Irish bc. He’s irish. But conveniently forgets that even IN ireland everyone speaks english because the language is basically dead. s3án is. Confused. And only gets like half of the words

23. tmy being emberassed abt how he hordes things and s3án showing tmy his own little weird quirks so he feels better

24. They’re both autistic and adhd - tmy has internalized ableism like younger s3án did and s3án helps him slowly realize it’s ok that he needs extra help and stuff for things.

25. Another autism one- tmy helping s3án through a sensory overload!!!

26. ANOTHER another autism one- s3án slowly piecing together some of why tmy does stuff he does, like learning he likes routines and sameness and figuring out he genuine;y cant tell when someone is annoyed with him (cough cough… mr b34st hates me video…) and helps him out, supports him, just accommodates him and tries to explain to other ppl when they don’t get it. Also sees himself in some of these things to a lesser extent and ends up figuring out they’re both autistic as hell

27. They start flirting and calling each other their boyfriends as a bit and then uh oh! It's not a bit anymore !!!! because they’re literally cuddling wearing each others clothes and everyone just reads it as actually being gay and because the jokes aren’t really jokes anymore the flirting is beginning to hit different

28. (Based on the Time Source!tmy had a beard for like. A bit) s3án hyping tmy up when he grows a beard bc tmy's so happy with it and s3án wants to support his weird fashion choice

29. Snowed in :0000 ??!!!!! SNOWED IN???? And eventually the heater breaks and they have to huddle for warmth????

30. Since tmy can sing and play piano, he decides to give s3án a little private concert to subtly (or well, not that subtly) reveal his feelings and. It’s very cute

31. s3án kisses tmy at a con when they think no one's looking, but the next morning it's all over the internet. s3án is definitely terrified but tmy is feeling even worse, so he comforts him and they take care of each other, staying in the hotel to wait for things to blow over and trying not to go outside

32. Fic where tmy speaks a fluent second language, and a mutual friend of him and s3án speaks the same language- unknown to tmy. This friend hears tmy confess in this language and now has to cover for him, KNOWING he has a crush on s3án. This gets worse when they are out shopping and s3án, talking in korean w a cashier who speaks it, shyly admits to the cashier that he’s buying something for a crush, ALSO NOT KNOWING that this friend speaks THAT LANGUAGE TOO, before handing it over to tmy as a gift a few minutes after they leave. So NOW they have to live with the knowledge that both of these fuckers like each other, but they also don't wanna be a fucking snitch. Comedy.

33. s3án and tmy are chilling when Uh Oh, Religious Trauma!!!! tmy cuddles him and comforts him until he feels better. Major angst and hurt/comfort

34. one of them goes on some sort of podcast and when the hosts mention the other he almost immediately accidentally leaks that they're together lol

35. tmy’s drawing, and for background noise, starts listening to music he knows s3án likes to try and feel closer to him. 

36. s3án and tmy TRY to watch a Generic Seasonal Movie ™ (Christmas or Halloween) On Netflix to try and get into the spirit, but they’re too hyperactive to pay attention and so they give up halfway through and go out to get fast food.

37. They're talking to a third party when s3án slips in conversation and calls tmy “his” tmy. tmy is ELATED

38. AQUARIUM DATE *foams at mouth*

39. tmy gets kinda nervous that no one takes him seriously bc of how extra™️ and loud and hyper he is and also because he likes pretty childish stuff and s3án helps out and it's pog

47. s3án realizes he likes tmy, and because he’s a hopeless romantic he starts listening to embarrassingly cutesy generic love songs about it. That's it that's the prompt I just think it's funny to imagine Jck S3ptic Eye, heavy metal fan, listening to 3d Sh3eran or even kpop like Twic3 or some other cutesy kpop group LMAOOOOO. His headphones unplug on accident or some shit and it's T4yl0r Sw1ft’s “You Belong With Me” and he's cripplingly embarrassed. like. It's so funny to me.

48. tmy1nn1t starts sleeping with a jcks3pt1c3ye stuffed animal (like the t0tm coffee one) and tries to keep it a secret because he's emberassed, but he goes over to s3án's house and s3án forgets to his his own tmy1NN1T stuffed animal, which tmy sees very obviously in his bed next to his pillow when he comes over.

49. In which people's hearts/feelings can manifest physically if they ignore and repress them enough, so tmy gets stuck trying to wrangle another, tinier little nonverbal chibi tmy (like three to four inches tall) that is extremely obvious abt his feelings for s3án and VERY intent about getting his attention. One day, s3án comes over and tmy locks the smaller tmy in a drawer, but this mini tmy manages to escape, hitching a ride in s3án’s bag so he can be with him and follow him around. When tmy realizes what's happened, he's HORRIFIED and tries to figure out where s3án's going/been to try and get the his heart back before s3án figures it out, and of course at the same time s3án ends up slowly realizing he has a little hitchhiker and taking care of him. He thinks the little tmy is very cute and is endeared by him, and also figures out he has a crush because tiny tmy is the opposite of subtle and very obvious on purpose (kissing him where he can reach and stuff, begging for attention by whining like a puppy and making happy little noises when it is RECEIVED) By the time tmy catches up with him his little self is like. Hugging s3án’s hand/finger all affectionate and squeaking happily while s3án, petting the little guy, looks up to the actual tmy and is like. “i assume this is yours lol?”

50. S3án realizing he likes tmmy and then being really shy around him after and kind of caught off guard/embarrassed by it. That being said he cannot get it together and stop acting like a nervous little kid w a crush, he’s so shy and flustered and it's so painfully obvious how he feels that he’s kicking himself. Thankfully Tmy is immune to social cues so it’s only obvious to literally everyone else. Tmy is harem protagonist levels of dense to the point s3án would think it was on purpose if he didn’t know him well enough to know he is just Like That- and he only puts it together when he is told DIRECTLY and CLEARLY that s3án likes him, where upon he is super starstruck and confused (really??? For real??? U like me??? ME???? omg???) like it hasn’t been on a billboard in bold letters for months. (this is a very autistic prompt. Autism wins)

51. Classic “truth or dare kiss and whoopsies i liked it too much” but the twist?? It’s drunk and on a livestream so they have to have the internal panic afterwords live and mask it despite being too drunk to do it well at all

53. You get a specific task you have to complete to reveal who your soulmate is. Tmy's task is to fold a thousand paper cranes. He enlists s3án for help, they hang out and bond and have a fun time, and S3án is his soulmate yippee!!! (S3án couldn't complete his own task when he got it for whatever reason, so he is also surprised)

54. DOUBLE LIFE AU. DOUBLE LIFE AU. LOOK ME DEAD IN THE FUCKING EYES. DOUBLE LIFE AU

55. S3án is a shapeshifter/changeling and Tmmy is a bard type magic user who finds out about this mysterious shapeshifter a few towns over and is VERY intrigued and then he meets him and he's not only a shapeshifter but also this silly loud guy who's honestly very weird and pretty and tmy is like. "I am going to seduce this funky little magic creature if it litterally fucking kills me".

im SADLY still doing uni work so yes i'm still doing these asks to make it more bearable :,) oh oh but i'm excited to talk about iceland thanks for asking about him!! :DD

1) what would their social media page/activity be like: almost none! it just doesn't seem like his kinda thing u know it goes against his old man energy... but he does use social media to talk to people and keep up with what the others r up to, he just doesn't post much! except for nature pics on instagram <- i think that's canon but don't quote me on it

2) what animal they remind me of: puffin is a boring answer so i'll say he gives off cat energy!! not in a catboy way, in the clingy-but-pretending-not-to-be way

3) my thoughts on their design/aesthetic alone: LOVE his design!! i think his outfit is unique and looks so nice (if u forget the shoes). i did kinda prefer him with the blue eyes he had innnn the movie was it?? but purple looks cool! ALSO ashy-haired iceland is the only iceland to me ok!! he and finland look too much alike in the newer seasons >:(

4) physical headcanons: i think he has a rlly good sleep schedule! like we're talking,, 10pm to 6am he's insane like that. i like to think of him as just slightly shorter than nor, and taller than finland! umm this isn't a headcanon it's canon but i feel like it's an unpopular opinion on tumblr :,) but he's 17 to me! he's also on the slender side. he never had to fight the way the other nordics did, so he's a bit twiggy

5) social headcanons: yes ok!! i covered his relationship w/ denmark in that ask so i won't talk about it again. i think it's so sweet how he looks up to sweden in canon, and while i don't think he grew up close enough to him to view him as a father figure, he's kind of a dad friend to him! ice definitely values social connections a lot, but he still struggles with making them, so he pretends not to. it's been better since the internet became a thing! but u have to think about what being a preteen growing up with ur only friends being your brothers does to someone :,) he's still not the best at socializing and making friends. ALSO NOT A HC BUT I LOVE THAT HE HATES ENGLAND ITS VERY FUNNY TO ME i hc he gets all >:/ when norway talks about hanging out with england like eugh. that guy?

6) psychological headcanons: like i said i think loneliness and self-isolation are def things he's struggled with. the other nordics help a lot but ! i think especially when he was growing up he felt insecure about physically growing so much slower than everyone around him, too. he & norway are also super interesting to me! i think his whole not wanting to call him big brother thing would be more than just him wanting to look grown up (but that too!), he feels awkward being emotionally vulnerable with norway, after growing up extremely close to him but then not hearing from him at all during his formative years (when denmark had to step in). they love each other all the same, but the awkwardness in their relationship is more than just him being immature! don't get me wrong they get along though and tease each other and talk on the phone about silly things and i adore them

7) ship(s) with them that I like or at least consider: aah i like hongice a lot !! i've literally only ever found one good fic of them BUT IT WAS SO GOOD that i fell in love with them as a couple!! i also think him and luxembourg or hongice + lux would be fun!

8) made-up connections with other characters that weren't in the canon (friends, enemies, whatever): aah i don't actually think i have any :,) it's not canon anymore because of him making friends with the aseans, but prior to those strips i would've called him the nordic with the least relationships outside of the group. i think he's friendly with the others around his age though! taiwan, seychelles, liechtenstein, lux, latvia! and he likes america, although he overwhelms him

9) Headcanons about their past: hrmrm in the hongice fic i mentioned he stayed in london during ww2 and i think that idea makes a lot of sense & i really like it!! the rest i've pretty much covered. i'll add that in my head he lived with norway growing up (canon is kind of contradictory, but one strip implies he lived in iceland even after he met norway). i just think it makes more sense that they wouldn't leave this kid all alone?? but it does also mean he witnessed a lot of difficult things (sweden & denmark's fights especially) so it wasn't always a happy time

10) content about them I'd like to see more of: him & denmark like i said !! also more nationverse hongice i feel like it's so rare!! and i loooove things going into the complexities of him & norway as siblings. plus anything about his young teens because we only ever see a frame of that in canon i'm p sure!!

legit spent the entire event trying to juggle with drawing (bro I haven’t done traditional art in so long - idk why tf I thought it’d be a good idea to give myself such a short timeframe [40mins - 1hr] to draw sketch comms), dealing with ppl complaining about my keychain prices (I was literally using the price recommended to me by the staff 😭😭 most con keychains are literally more expensive so idk what they were complaining about), and talking to random 50yr old men that were asking me about digital art (as creepy as that sounds, they were both v v nice - ended up convincing one to buy an iPad for his daughter for Christmas [she better be grateful >:(]),, ;-;;;

I doubt I’ll ever go to San Francisco (America sorta scares me hahaidhbkjjh) [actually maybe I’ll visit just for you pookie 🤭🤭😍😍], but I’ll definitely let you know if I ever open an Etsy store !!! I’ll probably end up doing it once my catalogue is larger & I figure out how to get higher quality prints :))) (so,, sometime next year :D)

My prediction was right tho LOL - only one TWST print sold (my mootie who loves Riddle bought it eheheh) (actually maybe 3 sold if you include the art trade for Leona and my brother buying a Ruggie print) - and as disappointing as it was, it’s a good indicator on what to make more of in future though!! As much as i love making TWST content, I do still want to make art that sells at cons 😔😔,, i.e. I probs have to focus more on vtuber/Genshin/anime art sighhhhhh

The way I’ve written this post makes it sound like the event was entirely miserable omfg i promise it wasn’t !! stressful, yes, but not terrible !! I did enjoy the experience a lot, and will be applying to proper, bigger cons in the future !! :D

1: when'd you start playing Rainworld? According to my steam library, 21 Apr 2017!

2: Have you completed the game? Which of the campaigns have you completed? Yes! And no! I have not touched a single campaign of the dlc that i paid for! All that money truly did go to just having Double Jump Slugcat back. Wistful sigh! I have finished Survivor's campaign though, mostly because its a requirement to unlock Hunter's, and THAT'S the one i'm always playing on for my pearl runs or random touring around the world. I forget if I finished Hunter's... I enjoy playing so much that I usually have mods to extend the cycles for Hunter. Never touched Monk <z3 I love him but i don't rlly care for playing an easy mode version of RW

3: What is your favorite region? Never ask me that <3 one thing about me is i'll never make a decision in my life let alone will I pick a favourite. Visually, Garbage Wastes stood out to me heavily. It is a disgusting, ugly, rotten place and i froth that shit. This shit look like scumdoggia out here. This place look like gwar lore. Yknow. Absolutely nasty place. I'm in there right now on my current pearl run! With two babies x.x Industrial Complex is also up there, if only because that was the first place I learned like the back of my hand and it has the best song in the entire game at its entrance. "Level" two of the game, and already we have the best song in it. Stellar experience. Also introduced me to Blue Lizards, which are one of my most beloved Lizard types &lt;333 Shoreline might also be somewhere up there.... Maybe... It's frustrating though. But a distinctly beautiful place all on its own. I LOVE stormy (cloudy in this case) waters. Its [spoiler] subregion is where i store all my pearls that i collect!

4: What is your least favorite region? This one's also hard, but... Look, i don't think i'm aware enough of game design for each region. EVERY region has fucked me over at one point with some intended or accidental game bullshit (scavs stabbing garbage worms affects YOUR reputation with them fun fact.... ugh) but i still go to all of them for their pearls or unlocks, and i must have some semblance of fun doing it cause i keeeep doing it! Maybe in world design... Filtration System? It's not exactly a linear region (vanilla Farm Arrays..........) but it does have an "end point", and i found it pretty easy to vibes-memorise my way through that place even without any light sources. The darkness is a real bloody challenge in Shaded Citadel, but it's also a feature and i can appreciate it there, somewhat. In Filtration System it's just kind of annoying on my eyes. I dunno, maybe i should go play all campaigns and take notes to really sus this one out. Edit: it's fucking Farm Arrays straight up Farm Arrays im there rn i hate it here and its 90% the rain deers fault

5: What is your favorite creature? THE DREADED FAVOURITISM QUESTION!! FUCK Lizards: Blue & Orange. Pink is also up there All Scavengers!! I LOVE their design, even if we are mortal enemies in gameplay...... Leviathans are also dope, and I am a friend of all Hazers and Lantern Mice, short of making them my meals, that is. I like to save them from water/save them from land This game is VERY GOOD at making bugs feel like bugs and making my skin crawl. Hell if i'm gonna put any of the bastards on this list but i figured i'd mention that i appreciate it..... And Scugpups :) my babies

magic kaito is. not rlly worth reading unless u can look past the author being gross btw (there's a handful of Really Good Moments but so many unnecessary gross jokes. and that fun 80s-90s typical homophobia </3) but also I'm going to talk abt it a bunch so you don't HAVE to read it <3

Okay so preface 4 those new into the whole dcmk extended universe (vzjdgss). Magic Kaito was the series b4 Detective Conan, with the first two volumes being published in '88 (and then of course being put on hiatus until '94)! It starts out as a mostly plotless comedy series focusing on Kaito Kuroba, a high school magician and the newest Kaitou KID, a phantom thief notorious for never having been captured. He inherited the KID name after discovering his father (deceased. maybe.) had been the previous Kaitou KID-- Kaito decides to be KID to try and figure out what happened to his father.

As KID, Kaito goes around stealing precious jewels (only to return them immediately after), clashing with a whole police squad dedicated to arresting him in the process, headed by Inspector Nakamori, his best friend/love interest's father. He doesn't really have much motive for stealing the jewels until the series very suddenly Has Plot (this happens in the '94 run, which is also when detective conan started svdnsgs. The art style shift is Very Noticable). The plot is uh. There's a special gemstone called the Pandora and if you look through it while this certain comet is passing by, tears will come out of it and if you drink those you'll become immortal. There's a shady group that constantly clashes with KID over trying to find the jewel, and Kaito learns that they're the ones behind his dad's death (supposed death I guess. he's p likely alive).

There's only been 5 volumes: the first two were released in '88, the third was released in '94, the fourth in 2007, and the fifth in 2017. BUT. Of course. That's just in his own series. Kaito shows up frequently in Detective Conan, with Conan facing off against KID, trying to foil his heists and figure out the magic tricks he's using. I have like a sneaking suspicion that rather than making more magic kaito, the author just throws a KID heist into detco when he wants to write one sgdndgsvshs

Kaito is a fun character... he's just this like shithead teen in way over his head. Supposedly has an IQ of 400 and is very good at thinking on his feet! Kind of a dumbass. Like it's rlly good seeing him in detco being like all suave and in control of the situation and then u go to magic kaito and he's trying to suppress his panic like half the time zvdhsggs Bro He Is Only 17. What the fuck. He's got ppl trying to manipulate and kill him constantly and he has math hw due in the morning u know...

ALSO fun to talk abt how magic kaito does v much feel almost like a prototype detco (ESPECIALLY w/the character designs. Aoko and Ran look Exactly The Same in some parts).... like idk! Seeing them be so similar but then branch off into Very Different Moods is cool (kaito more comedy, detco more drama)

Theres some cool comparisons 2 be made w/Shinichi's whole thing, being that he was v childish at the start and after turning into a child and goin thru All That he's matured a LOT (but still acts childish when he needs to) and then w/Kaito leaning in to acting childish as KID (but is also like. Internally much more mature than he lets on).... it's neat! I enjoy his character a bunch. That's MY bastard boy, ya know?

#also as far as anime stuff. theres a series that came out around 2012ish iirc and also an older ova! have not seen either in a while #but i think they just mainly go over the mk plot that had happened up to when they were made. #theres also a BUNCH of detco movies that he's a main character in... i think ive only seen last wizard of the century but that was fun #did not even get into the Wacky Side Characters. like the witch. or the sherlock holmes cosplayer (<- only kinda a joke) #magic kaito has a LOT of potential to be really cool which is UNFORTUNATE hampered #by the author both Only Writing Chapters Every 10 Years and also Making Excessive Gross Jokes #detco posting #long post #OH RIGHT. OK ill explain a bit! im dozing off rn so pls understand that i dont know how to write or type.

ill probably do a little more indepth so i base a lot of my character designs on how the voice sounds. like what would this character look like based off how they sound, sounds can have shapes so voices can have shapes. little uh motifs i guess? in voice? also, more obvious, design based off personality and also (very loosely) based off the models.

i came up with the designs half way through watching act two. i think only the first ep of act 3 was out at the time so it was EARLY days there wasnt even funny halve live fandom yet rlly. but YEAH so i got to make designs without too much influence from others which is awesome

gordon is comedic straight man normal guy (even tho hes Not normal) hes very generic, kinda scruffy. hes the Main Character and i wanted him to ve very Main Character. hes built like a rectangle, but softer edges. kinda goes along w his voice honestly. just a dude youd see in the line at starbucks or smthn. cartoony glasses w weird dot eyes trope thnak YOU... gordon normal voice syndrome m gettin NOTHIN from this guy he also has a mullet u just cant see it w the ponytail

benrey looks human and is pretty human. bc my art style is the way it is. hes built like a squircle, very wide and imposing but not in a threatening way, in an agitating way. he looks pliable and soft, like playdoh. he doesnt emote, and when he does the expression is forced and awkward. hes an alien after all, and is kinda still getting used to the whole Human Body Thing. benreys voice sounds round!

(gordon and benrey dont have contrasting designs but they have a lot of similarities in both shape and build. bc i dont see them as direct opposites and see them more similar if anything. they dont contrast since Everyone antagonizes gordon one way or another.)

bubby is the definition of Prickly Old Bastard, literally and figuratively. not approachable but generally nonthreatening (somewhat). hes on Edge, easily agitated and uptight, thats why hes always wearing a turtleneck or his shirt collar goes up to his head almost lookin uncomfortably tight. wanted him to contrast coomer..! a lot of the lil details of his design face upwards and inwards. bubbys voice sounds angular!

coomer is round and soft, hes fat bc hes a boxer and also bc it makes him look sweet and approachable, even though hes a very dangerous always-ticking timebomb. i wanted him to look visibly strong but not anime-buff, and also wanted him to contrast bubbys design in almost every way, which is why he changed so drastically compared to my first hlvai art. a lot of the lil details of his design face downwards and inwards. coomers voice sounds round!

(note how coomer and bubby have contrasting character designs but still have similar aspects to them. i wanted them to have a statler/waldorf or bunsen/beaker situation,where theyre obviously a duo. theyre both da shortest in the science team...same height)

tommy is tall and has been since my first piece of hlvai fanart. i just LOVE softer almost unassuming characters standing out like a sore thumb and that MAINLY being bc theyre tall. his voice sounds very tall too, i wish i could explain how or why. baaulp said tommy was a cross between the secretary in twin peaks and pee wee herman and i ran with that. awkward beanpole that wears the same outfit everyday. loose spaghetti noodl. wobbly nd fluid never stiff!!

darnold is my newest design concept and i wanted him to be soda can shaped!!! thats honestly it, he was the easiest one to get. i had his design in mind since i watched the act 4 vod before the episodes were actually released. hes similar to gordon where i wanted to give him this Normal Guy Dad Look. his designs a lot less complex since i used the soda can shape concept AND jusr how his voice sounds.....

anyway when wayne talked abt my designs on stream i Died and also i feel like thats when they were adopted by a lot of the fandom and slowly started mutating into what the general fanon designs are now. except for coomer and darnold who im Sure i based off other folks' designs! same w some of benrey im sure. idk early hlvai fandom days r blurry bc my brain doesnt WORK

ahhh hello anon!! this is my first ever request, i’m so excited!! this took rlly long for some reason, i’m so scared to disappoint yall with this 😭😭 well here you go, a part 2 to i love you :)

You were doing fairly great after the incident. Life was peaceful, your grades were skyrocketing, you quit the volleyball team and chose to pursue fashion design- life was good. You graduated Inarizaki as one of the best students in your class and first place in the 49th Japan Fashion Design Contest. You could almost remember the feeling of graduating, on stage, receiving your diploma, being cheered on by your friends and family, with a particular blonde boy eye-ing you with adoring eyes.

The after-party was hectic, never-ending drinks, maybe a make-out or two, but overall, you were ecstatic. An interesting thing that happened during the party, was your interaction with Miya Atsumu. He was still as lively as ever, a bright smile on his face wherever he was. Once he saw you that night, a drink in hand and your arm over your friend’s shoulder, a small smile popped on his face. He went still for a second as all the memories rushed back and you spun around. You were sweaty and drunk, but in his eyes, you looked heavenly. You remember glancing at his eyes for a second, he still had that same honey-toned eyes, a slight lovey-dovey look in his eyes. That was the only interaction you had for the night, and what you thought was for the rest of your life. Or so you’d thought.

Life was pretty much hectic after graduation. College, then joining one of the most successful fashion designers, to actually having your own brand. Who knew design could be so stressful? You slump down in your office only to be greeted by more piles of fabric and paperwork. Another load of presentations to investors and other businesses- yet your company seemed to be going nowhere. “Excuse me, your 4 o’clock meeting is here.” Your assistant suddenly says, making you flinch. “Geez- at least knock first.” You say, standing up and fixing your outfit. This client was particularly important to your brand- they had asked for a possibility of sponsorship. It would be groundbreaking to collab with them- a grade-a sports team would be amazing to collab with. You just weren’t expecting for him to be here. 

“Good afternoon, Mister… Shugo?” You say, looking down at a clipboard with all your materials. Shugo was a familiar name- you’ve probably heard it somewhere on the radio. “Y/N?- I-it’s you.” The man says, standing up. You freeze. You knew that voice- it’s gotten much deeper though. His tone is laced with curiosity- it almost felt like a dream. You look up to be met by him. His honey blonde hair was slicked to the side better, a hint of softness in his brown eyes. “Atsumu?” You mutter unknowingly. A sense of nostalgia hit you as your eyes scanned him. He looks older- and he’s surely gotten buffer. It felt like a dream, really. To see your high school crush almost more than 5 years apart. Then it came back. The sequence of events that happened leading up to the fight. It still hurt, of course, but not as much. I suppose you’ve gotten over it. You snap back into reality when Atsumu coughs awkwardly. “I’m supposed to meet- Shugo. Shugo Meian. Wh- what are you doing here?” You mutter out. “Shugo sent me. I didn’t know- this was your company.” Atsumu says, tucking his hands in his pocket with a small smile. He was still as smug as ever. You nod hesitantly- you had to give him the benefit of the doubt though. “Take a seat, Mr. Miya. We should start talking about the offer.” You say, pointing to the sofa behind him. He nods, giving you a small smile. Gosh- his smile was just as captivating as it did in high school. You feel yourself getting uncomfortable from your own thoughts- after all, you were over him. Right?

“Thank you so much for this opportunity, Mister Miya.” You say, bowing. After around an hour of deliberating and talking, you ended up with a beneficial deal for both of you. Of course, despite your troubles, you stayed professional. It was slightly amusing how Atsumu’s eyes would linger on you- admiring your figure more than a mere business partner would. “I look forward to working with you, Y/N,” Atsumu says, smiling widely. “Hey- uh- do you miss… Suna? and Osamu?” Atsumu asks, a bit hesitant. He’s not sure whether you’d like that because of the incident- but your eyes light up in excitement. “Well, a bit,” That was an understatement, of course. “I assume Osamu became a chef like he always wanted?” You ask curiously. You recall Osamu sharing his dreams of being a chef at lunch, a bright smile on his face every time he thought of it. Atsumu nods and you sigh in relief. “Well- you should catch up with us! Osamu’s finally coming back to town.” Atsumu says- which caught you off guard. Of course, you missed them a lot, but- it would bring back a lot of unpleasant memories. Eh, whatever. Seeing them for a bit wouldn’t hurt. “I mean- sure- but-” “Great! Here’s my number.” Atsumu says, scribbling down his number on a random card. “S-Shugo's number is on there as well- by the way,” Atsumu says, chuckling awkwardly. You nod, taking the card. Would you regret this? I dunno.

That day, you ended up in one of the fanciest nightclubs in town, Energize. It was pretty popular amongst rich people and Atsumu had volunteered to pay for everything anyway. You were seated in a booth, quietly waiting for your ex-teammates. Your heart was beating in anticipation- would they look different? You were sure Osamu still had his signature gray hair and Suna’s soft floofy brown hair. Your main concern was if they would show up or not. It was 15 minutes over what time they agreed, and you were getting hesitant. Was this a mistake? Your mind flashed back to the pile of paperwork and you sighed. You took out your phone, checking your texts.

Y/N This is Atsumu Miya, I presume? Atsumu - High School Y/N!! you texted !! Y/N ヽ(￣▽￣)ノ Are we still meeting up tonight? Atsumu - High School yeah yeah ofc !! suna and osamu already said yes :) Y/N I’m excited to meet them :DD Atsumu - High School they’re excited to meet you too btw u don’t have to be that formal with me lol Y/N Ah, no worries. I like being formal. Where are we meeting up? Atsumu - High School Energize, 8 pm tonight don’t be late :DD Y/N I’ll be there. 

You cringed at some particular parts of your conversations- had you always been this dry? You huff as you look around further, looking for a huddle of boys. There’s no one in sight that looks like them- and with that, you roll your eyes. It was an empty promise anyways- he never meant anything he said anyway. You stuff your phone into your pocket and head off before- you heard something. “Oi Tsumu, where the hell are they? We’ve been looking for them all over the place!” A voice says- Osamu. You would recognize that voice everywhere- were they really that blind? You turn around before being greeted by 3 males, one of them being Atsumu. “Y/N? Is that you?”

The air felt awkward yet soft as you fiddled with your nails. Atsumu had rented out a private booth for the 4 of you, blocking out all the noise and music. You leaned back on your chair, trying to observe your friends. Osamu had darker hair now- with fluffed-up ends. Suna, on the other hand, still has his signature fluffy brown hair, it just has more volume in it. “Osamu, you’re a chef, Atsumu tells me?” You finally speak up, the silence getting overbearing. Osamu’s eyes light up and he puts on a small smile. “Yeah. Osamu’s Onigiris- Doesn’t it sound nice?” Osamu asks excitedly and you nod. “I’m happy for you, Samu.” You slightly cringe- it was too soon to use that nickname. “What about you? What did you end up… becoming?” Suna asks, leaning on his elbow. “I’m a designer now. I own a company- it’s pretty small though.” You say, chuckling. “I knew it. You’ve always been good at drawing and design and… stuff.” Osamu says, a proud smile on his face. You felt a bit comforted by them, a sense of happiness. It felt nice- just to escape reality for a moment and be with your old friends. Atsumu, however, felt a little different. His heart was beating quicker by the second, and you could swear you saw him blush when he saw you. You could say that he was crushing on you.

The loud music was deafening as you made your way through the crowd, hanging on Suna’s shoulder. Everything felt vibrant as you looked around- people dancing, making out, and having fun. It’s been a long time ever since you loosened up and had fun so this was great. Osamu was laughing his head off about something and Atsumu was blabbering about how he was plucking girls from all over the country. After that awkward encounter, Atsumu had volunteered for heavy drinks and well, this was the outcome. “Mmmh- I think I need another drink,” Osamu says, pointing to some chairs. “Yes. Let’s get a few shots- then go home- because I feel like throwing up.” Suna says, a slight smirk playing on his face. “Mister bartender! 4 shots of vodka please!” Atsumu shouts as you all slump against the table. “Yo, Y/N, question… are you single?” Osamu asks as the shots arrive. You nod your head. Your love life so far has been a little boring… just a few hook-ups and dates along the way but no one really stuck. “Ah, you’re the same with Tsumu then!” Osamu says, giggling. Atsumu rolls his eyes and downs the shot in an attempt to push out what Osamu just said. “I mean- ever since you broke up with him, his girlfriend literally broke up with him too- and he never got over you- aFTER 6 YEARS!” Osamu says, chuckling. Atsumu nearly choked on his drink as he processed what Osamu just said- “Excuse me?” You questioned, glaring at Osamu. It takes Osamu a big fat second to realize what he said before a light blush colored his cheeks. “Hey, Suna! Didn’t you say you wanted to check out the toilet earlier?-” Osamu asks suddenly, standing up and picking Suna up by the hoodie. “Wait what?-”

“That was an interesting comment… wasn’t it, Atsumu?” You muttered, downing your shot. Atsumu shoots you a small glare before his cheeks flare in embarrassment. “I mean- Osamu is- a bit correct- I’m still single- but- that wasn’t true, I’m over you- pfft-” Atsumu said, giggling nervously. You chuckled because you’ve noticed that he’s grown more transparent over the years- you can see by the tone of his voice. “Are you sure, Tsumu?” You ask teasingly, leaning in slowly. Atsumu’s eyes widen before downing the rest of his shot. “Y-yes- I’m sure- of course-” Atsumu stutters, a light pink blush on his cheeks. You could just remember that Atsumu did the same thing to you, in high school. The way he made you flutter and smile joyfully- it was amusing. “I’m joking, Atsumu.” You said, giggling as you saw his flustered reaction. “Mmmm- I feel sleepy.” You said as your eyelids feel heavier. “Would you like to go home?” Atsumu asks, fixing your hair a little. He’s grown softer over the years, definitely. Honestly, at first, you’d be very mad at Atsumu if you weren’t drunk, but you were tired. It had been a long day- a small ride home would be okay, right?

“I’m sorry I ended up dragging you to my house.” You said softly, turning on the lights as you stumble into the apartment. Wasted, was the only thing that was right to describe you. Atsumu was right behind you, hoisting your arm up even though he was drunk himself. “No worries Y/N. I wouldn’t want you to stumble over and hit yourself.” Atsumu says as you lay down on the sofa. “Do you want me to get you a cup of water? Some meds, or anything?” Atsumu asks, observing you. You shake your head softly, yawning. “I’ll get you some food, wait here a second,” Atsumu says, standing up. Your head feels heavy against the cushions of the couch- and you feel worn out and tired. “Here you go- some bread, and meds- to avoid headaches,” Atsumu mutters, handing you a pill and a plate of chocolate bread. “Thank you, Tsumu.” You say, starting to eat up the bread. Atsumu’s heart fluttered at your nickname, a visible blush on his cheeks. “Hey, Tsumu, was Osamu really telling the truth? Back at the bar?” You ask softly. You’re currently leaning against Atsumu’s arm, him visibly flustering around your touch. He was definitely caught off guard by your question- a light blush coloring his cheeks. “Yeah. Sure. I guess you could say he was telling the truth.” He chuckles, hoping you wouldn’t kick him off the couch. “Why?”  was the only thing you could say. He sighed softly, sitting you up- a serious conversation, you noted. “I mean… somedays, I just remember how I treated you like shit. How I used you for my own benefit- it’s funny, really, how my feelings have grown over the years. I remember that day, the day you snapped- I was okay with it at first- I saw you as merely a game- but sooner or later I missed you- I missed the way you’d laugh at my cringy jokes, the way you attended every practice I had.” Atsumu mutters, looking down. His tears are threatening to spill and he lets out a breathy chuckle. And it’s so stupid because you can’t love me back. Not after the way, I hurt you and the way you ran off like that- I’m so stupid for loving you… aren’t I?” Atsumu asks. He looks up at you, a small smile playing on his face and he’s on the brink of tears. Back then, he could lie to you so easily- it was as if your feelings didn’t matter to him- but you were surprised to find out that the feelings you had for him… were returned. After all these years, he was willing to give his heart to you. You felt bad for him- of course, he’d think you hate him. You did, really, that day, you cried- you considered moving to another school- but here you were, sitting in front of Atsumu after he had just confessed. “Please say something. I- I won’t be mad if you say you hate me.” Atsumu mutters quietly. You sigh- what do you say?

“Atsumu. Look at me, please?”

He raises his head up to be met by a soft smile. “Tsumu. I don’t hate you, okay?” You say. Even if you’re drunk, your opinion on Atsumu was clear enough. “Yes, I was hurt. You had a girlfriend and you were flirting with me- of course, I was hurt.” You quickly said, looking down. “But I don’t know- you make me feel safe. Even after all those years and I saw you- my feelings all erupted once I saw you. Not gonna lie- it felt shitty- the man who broke my heart stand right then and there.” You gave out a breathy chuckle. Unknowingly, Atsumu was staring right at you with hopeful eyes, hoping for you to say that you loved him back. “Atsumu… I like you, aswell- but I just wanna know if you’re playing games with me. I don’t wanna be some kind of rebound- I don’t wanna raise my hopes up just for you to destroy them.” You muttered softly. “Yes, of course! I- I actually like you this time. You make me so happy, I promise-” Atsumu says, leaping into your arms very suddenly. You yelp at the sudden hug, feeling- inflicted.

“I never got to apologize for my actions- I’m so so sorry- I love you, I love you,” Atsumu mutters into your neck, causing you to giggle. It was amusing- to see Atsumu so flustered over you. “Tsumu. It’s okay, I forgive you.” You mutter softly, petting his hair. Atsumu pulls away, a drunken smile on his face. “C-can I kiss you? I didn’t get a chance to last time…” Atsumu asks slowly, a red blush on his face. You giggle softly- goddamn if he wasn’t cute. “Okay, you can kiss m-” You say slowly, before being interrupted by Atsumu’s lips on yours. His lips are sweet tang against your tongue, and his breath is warm and messy against your lips. You’ve dreamt of this moment since you first laid your eyes on him- his lips against yours, and you’re both a warm ball of happiness. Another life came quicker than expected for Atsumu, but he wasn’t complaining. He got to be with you anyways.

SHAUNZER WEEK day 6: AU

Human AU! I’ve been lowkey trying to make a human au that i’m into for a pretty long time now but I think I’ve figured it out. Shaun and Bitzer are childhood best friends but Shaun lives in the city and only visits during summer break because his family has a cabin by the countryside! Gonna add more lore under a readmore:

Shaun spent every summer break as a kid in his parents’ cabin on the countryside. It was just a short walk from the farm where Bitz lives. He and Bitz spent the entire summers playing together, being best friends. Then come autumn Shaun went back home and they wouldn’t meet until next summer. 

Then Shaun got into some high-end college and got really busy, and then got a summer job doing something he really loved. so he spent his college years working and didn’t get to meet Bitzer. 

After college he’s finally dragged back to the summer cabin because his mom wants him to catch a break. He’s a bit nervous about meeting his best friend after three years of not hanging out. In that time Bitzer has gotten a lot more responsibilities on the farm. But he’s still happy to meet him! And they start hanging out and keeping contact more after that and eventually fall in love...

Shaun: city boy. live with his adoptive parents, Gromit and Fluffles. Fluffles is his biological mom but Gromit sn’t his real dad but they’re really close.

Bitzer: Lives with his father on the countryside. Bitz takes care of the animals and the farmer takes care of the crops.

The farmer: Bitzer’s dad. Became grumpy after divorce when Bitz was 4.

Fluffles: Nicknamed Fluffles but real name is [redacted]. has Best Mom energy.

Gromit: Fluffles boyfriend, Shaun thinks of him as his real dad but they’re not biologically related.

Wallace: Gromit’s half brother. Also lives with them, or he technically owns the house, so they all live with him.

Timmy’s mom: Fluffles’ sister. Lives by the countryside. The farmer’s neighbor but they’re only acquaintances.

The flock: Shaun’s classmates

Mowermouth: Shaun’s ex, also goes to his school

Pidsley: Bitzer’s little brother, but stays in his room playing fortnight and doesn’t help on the farm at all. Also sometimes stays with their mom, but Bitzer stopped for that for some??? reasons.

Hoping to draw more of this in the future! I’m not super happy with my art at the moment and character design especially has been rlly difficult tho. But I still like this idea a lot!

Patton tossed his phone down on the bed and flopped back onto his pillows with a happy sigh. He looked out the window at the tree and couldn’t help but feel like all those flowers hadn’t been there yesterday. Or this morning. Patton squeezed his eyes shut. He was definitely imagining it. He sat up again and jumped to his feet. Maybe Emile was making lunch. 

When Patton got downstairs he could hear his dads in the kitchen. 

“You can keep going, honey. I feel fine.” Emile said. 

Patton could hear someone make a small inhaling sound, liking they’d been holding their breath before the tap started running. 

“Lo?” Emile asked. “What are you do- shit.” 

Patton reached the kitchen doorway and paused as he saw Logan hunched over the sink, coughing and spitting. Emile moved to block him from Patton’s view. “Hey, pumpkin!” he chirped. “Whatcha up to?”

Patton blinked. Emile’s cheeks were pink and he looked uncomfortable. “Um. Do you want some lunch?” he asked. 

Patton looked at Logan. “Is Pa okay?”

Emile rubbed his husband’s shoulder. “Papa’s fine. He just, um, ate too fast.” 

Patton furrowed his brows. That seemed like a blatant lie. “But-”

Logan coughed once more, louder, and wiped his face on his sleeve. “Dad’s right. I’m fine, Patton.” He rinsed the sink out and stood up straight again, he adjusted his glasses. “I could make us some omelets for lunch?”

Patton still seemed unsure but Logan pushed past it and opened the fridge. “Who wants to help?”

Emile grabbed a frying pan. “Pat, sweetpea, grab the glass bowl please?”

Patton hesitated before taking a deep breath. He was just being stupid. Papa’s fine. He reached up to get the glass bowl and handed it to Emile. They wouldn’t lie to him. 

And there’s no way it was actually blood in the sink.

“He almost saw you feeding!” Emile paced back and forth, chewing on his thumbnail. “Oh my goodness. What if he had walked in? He knows something’s wrong. He’s a smart kid, Lo. He’ll figure it out and he’ll be so hurt that we didn’t tell him!”

Logan sighed from the couch, his head in his hands. “Emi, please. Just calm down.”

“I can’t be calm! Patton trusts us now, and we’re keeping this from him. How is that fair?”

“Em, dear, we’re keeping this from him to protect him-”

“No, what does that even mean!? He’s not protected, he’s just a kid who doesn’t even know who his dads really are.”

“Emile.” Logan finally stood up and stepped in front of Emile’s pacing route, making Emile flinch at his vampire’s speed. 

Logan took Emile’s hands and set them on his shoulders. He gently took Emile’s hips and tugged him closer. “It’s okay, kitten,” he whispered. 

Emile shuddered as the tears that had been building finally spilled over. “I’m just so worried for him.” He buried his face in Logan’s neck. 

The vampire rubbed his back. “I know you are.” He threaded his fingers through Emile’s hair and kept running his hand up and down his husband’s spine. “It’s okay.”

Emile cried. “I want to tell him.”

“Shhh, I know.” Logan kissed his head. “I know. We will. We can do it soon. We’ll do it soon, I promise.” He swooped down to pick Emile up, cradling him close to his chest. “Let’s get some sleep now, okay? It’s late.”

Emile sniffed and scrubbed his eyes. “Okay,” he whispered hoarsely. 

Logan kissed his forehead and carried him up the stairs, smiling at his husband’s halfhearted protests. 

“I can walk!” He insisted, keeping his voice low enough to not wake Patton. 

“I’m sure you could, kitten, but why walk when you could have your vampire husband carry you?”

Emile kissed him as he was set down on their bed. “I love you heaps.”

“I love you heaps too, Emi.” Logan assured him. “Go to sleep.” 

“Okay.”

Logan hurried into The Witch’s Corner, his arms full of pastry bags and coffee cups. He sped straight to the counter and set everything down. He took a sip from his own reusable takeout cup as he grabbed his boss’s one. He took a second to admire the hand painted designs that were splashed across the cup, Dee’s work. Logan zipped to the back of the shop where Roman was organising a shelf of herb-filled jars. 

“Your tea,” he said. 

Roman glanced up. “Oh, thank you.” He took the cup gratefully. 

“There’s donuts and biscuits on the counter.” 

Roman hummed. “And how’s my son? Still obsessing over his wedding binders?”

“Remy was working at the counter when I got there. Virgil was serving all the customers and they both seemed incredibly annoyed with a florist.” 

Roman chuckled. “Sounds like them.” 

Logan leaned against the shelves and noticed a painting on the wall. “That’s new. One of Dee’s, right?”

Roman glanced over at the canvas Logan was referring to. It was a painting of two black cats, running through a forest, being followed by a colourful, sparkly mist. The witch smiled. “Yes. Dee made it the other day.”

“It’s beautiful.” 

“It is.” Roman sipped his tea and straightened a crystal cluster on a bookcase. 

They were interrupted by the bookshop’s door opening with a dainty little bell chime. “Hi, Roman!”

Roman smiled and headed out to the front. “Hey, kid.” 

Remus bounced over to the counter. “Can I do something cool today?” 

Logan walked over to them and sat down behind the counter. “Cool?”

“I wanna do witchcraft!” declared Remus. “Like you, Roman!”

“Roman’s not a witch,” dismissed Logan instinctively, shooting the older witch a tired look. “Stop feeding him your crazy voodoo lies.” he smirked. 

Remus lit up. “I want to learn crazy voodoo!” 

Roman laughed. “Alright. Maybe later, kid.” He pulled a donut from the brown paper bag. “But for now, you can redo the window display into something cool.”

Remus grinned. That was his favourite task. “Any theme?”

“Well it’s currently centred around dreamcatchers… so I’d say to switch it up we should go with the whole ‘skulls and crystals’ vibe.” Roman teased, smiling at the kid’s enthusiasm. 

Remus was wiggling with anticipation. “YES!” He scampered off to collect various bits and bobs from around the little shop, switching things around and taking all the feathery hoops down from the window. 

Logan shook his head fondly and pulled his book out from under the counter, it was a dusty old thing full of detailed sketches and smudgy faded scrawlings about ancient lore and myths. It took up a solid half of the counter but Logan loved it too much to stop reading through the old beliefs and occasionally jotting quotes down in his journal to do further research later. 

The witch took his donut back to the furthest corner of the shop to finish filing away some new books. Roman finished just in time for Remus to pop back and say goodbye.

i think leorio is gonna get Big Sad someday bc hes like, so normal compared to the other MCs, and also hes suuuuch a bleeding heart (i love him....) so i feel like thats gonna lead to some sadness for him once his friends start doing crazy shit or w/e 

also i predict that if he gets nen itll be like healing nen or st. does that even exist??? idk jack shit abt nen lmao 

i think that illumi has hypnosis powers or something, even just based on design alone. it could defs be for aesthetic (character design in hxh is wild), but his eyes look noticeably different from any other characters. also he was doing some freaky shit to killua. also i held this prediction before seeing the part where this is brought up so we’ll see if its right lmao 

as for this upcoming arc -  ruth and i are wondering if itll be similar to the vinsmoke drama in one piece - character goes back to abusive family, squad goes to rescue them...and then character refuses to be recused. w/sanji it was partially bc the vinsmokes threatened to kill zeff, his TRUE dad, but i predict in this case it could be more like the zoldyks saying ‘look killua these 3 weirdos showed up looking for you, convince them to leave or we’ll kill them’ and killua will be like, oh shit bc like.....think abt it. the vinsmokes targeted zeff (and not the strawhats) bc they knew they could easily kill him. same goes here, i assume - a family of trained assassins vs Good Good Fishing Rod Smell-Power Boy (who hasnt thrown a single punch yet), Lanky Dr Man With A Switchblade We Havent Seen Him Use Onscreen, and Mx 2 Wooden Sticks, Bloodlust, and Arachnophobia - 3 For 1 Deal! its a no-contest. so thats one thing i could see happening, potentially

where do i even begin

these r the ones i can come up w off the top of my head, therell probably be more once i decide to read avos honestly:

hollyleaf, briarlight, snowkit, feathertail, ferncloud

the short of it is, even if their deaths make narrative sense in service of a character or perspective changing (hollyleaf, snowkit), theyre still all kind of bullshit bc of what they represent 4 the series and writers as a whole. hollyleaf dies bc the writers never knew what the fuck to do w her in the first place (even tho her death does make sense narratively and is kind of justified, ill probably make a larger post analyzing this at some point bc I Am A Hollyleaf Stan but still think her death could have been okay and not frustrating), briarlight dies bc they decide her character is played out i guess (again i havent read avos so i dont rlly know, i just know i dont like it), snowkit dies NOT to rlly illustrate the danger of the forest to fireheart while hes young and make him question his choice to leave his comfortable life (which would make sense, even at the cost of an innocent) but to move a decided useless queen to the nursery, feathertail dies 4 basically no reason she easily could have saved the tribe w/o dying--i can only imagine they killed her bc they needed a definite reason her and crowpaw couldnt be together--, and ferncloud dies 4 basically the same reason snowkit dies/his mother is moved out of the nursery. like. its bullshit wall to wall.

anyway i initially was gonna do some canon design b4 even working on this but once i figured out what the ask was i was immediately floored into a wild frenzy to get this design out and articulate my feelings on the matter. basically lionwing is the opposite of everything i hate abt those deaths: shes a queen but there r no tragic events in service of shuffling her away from being that, shes a hero but is allowed to live to tell her tales, and she isnt punished 4 being a loving or passionate cat. and shes immortal. no fridging this one
