Really struggling with motivation this week. Work is hard and taking up so much more mental energy than a typical school day, despite the fact that I thought the longer we went, the easier it would be. It’s sunny but below 40* and windy here and I am so tired of bundling up to go outside. So I’m putting in some trainer time in fun skinsuits trying to get the work done. I missed #transdayofvisibility last month. I was so tired and drained I ended up napping through it. Gotta like living with #mentalillness and #manicdepression. #fantasyroleplay with the girlfriend and taking care of my #dogson #hislordship Chowder. Next, you got my lovely #stubdragons and #crestedgeckos Mango Salsa and Dijion. I'll admit that I'm a #helicopterparent #lizardkeeper and I'm worried a bit about them. #crestedgeckos are #gonnagecko. I put their food out and they'll eat when they do. On a different tack it's been over 3 years since I've started my #transition began #thetimesareachange. . All of this #covid-19 stress is getting to me over time. #beingessential means I am putting myself and my family up for possible infection. I need th cash though so when people touch their faces or get to close I can only be reminded that customers see me as #anobject and not a person. I had some really bad struggles this week in pole, but some successes as well, and I need to start choosing to celebrate those. 1: #pdshouldermount on my *non-dominant* side! 2&3: #pdcirclespin to #pdreversegrab also on my *non-dominant* side! 4: this really cool #forearmhandstand that I can now nail every time. 5: a 2-handed #handstand on to the pole into a #pdlayback (well, I can sometimes do it, with an unnecessary mat behind the pole, starting from almost at the ground. Christmas holidays start in two hours😁🤞😴😉. Kids are exhausted. I am juggling everyone's demands. Gearing up for the full on Christmas see-saw of family expectations and achieve ability! Part of me wants to party 🎉 and see everyone and another part wants to stay in bed with the iPad and the curtains closed. I've just got to suck it up and get on with it🤶🏻. And so have the kids! The problem with Christmas away from home is that you are never truly comfortable, you are always at the mercy of other people's "house rules" and ways of doing things. Especially when it comes to social interaction. I get tired of doing talking for the kids when they won't answer the questions about school etc family members shoot at them. I get tired of trying to get my son to stop jumping in and out of the room when there is a film on he likes because he is big now and makes the China jump up and down and I'm scared he's going to break something, and then he's going to get shouted at(not by me). At home we behave how we need to, jump, spin, stim, repeat phrases over and over, chew clothes, shout, sometimes slam doors🙄, sing 🎶, I might redirect behaviours but I never get them to stop doing the things their body needs to do to stay calm. I get tired justifying their need to move, not be social, their need to have the iPad and zone out. I always do this I start to panic 🤔it will be fine, it will be fine.
