A perfect example is in the city of Lagos. Naturally, almost every individual in Lagos has this notion that you must be aggressive in Lagos.
And I wonder what makes the people have this notion? That's the policy and system leaders have put in place to govern the people.
Leaders may not directly control our lives but the policies and systems they create have been automated to do so. Almost everyone in Lagos came in from another city but how is it that when they got into the city, they naturally just understood that you must develop an aggressive attitude towards work and even the people they meet in Lagos?
Leaders have the capacity to change people's lives through the system they put in place and the policies they create.
If we must submit to any leader, we must submit to a leader who has the ability to develop and change systems than trying to change people to fit into the systems

Here’s a wicked problem  situation... Dating apps!!
Tumblr media
Above is my thinking system using Loopy
We are in constant change, evolving at a blink of an eye! “The smartest species”, humans, we are all very different, compassionate, courageous, competitive, hateful, weird, creative e.t.c. But one thing we seek in common is LOVE!!
Love, Love, Love, we crave for it, in many forms, such as companionship, friendship, family, e.tc. And Technology is making it easier for us to find, through 1500 online dating apps!! Online Dating Market Leaders.
Whether you want to find your significant other, stop feeling lonely,  just wanting to chat, for X reason are too shy to physically interact, aren’t sure about your sexuality, or want to explore other type of relationships, make more friends or simply know you are not the only one who dips chips in the Mcflury, you name it! You are more than likely to find it in one of the many current Dating apps.
Is it really, though...? to what extent and cost?
Well..., there’re many successful stories out there, my best friends for instance, I myself have got few good matches, for different purposes. I have been using two or three of these apps. So what? Higher chances to meet “my one”! of course if you can trust their algorithm. Haven’t you heard? Apparently, THEY DON’T WORK!!  (A wicked problem into a wicked problem!?) check this out: What You Need to Know About Online Dating Algorithms and the Catfishers, hackers, is my privacy even secure with the companies themselves? Well… the companies’ (who make a lot of profit from us) privacy policies assure us we are safe (not that anybody reads them or stops us from using them).
But even if all that is just exaggeration and speculation, what are actually dating apps doing to/for us?
Opinions vary, it’s changing our physiology causing addiction to the apps themselves. Check it out: The Psychology of Dating Apps.
Some say the use of them is objectifying, making us lose our morals even changing the meaning of relationships (doesn’t make it negative or positive). However others say it’s expanding our interests and likes, making us more accepting, tolerant and welcoming even liberating for some cultures.
Love has no frontiers!!
So tell me... what’s your take?

The world of business today is complex and growing more complex every day. Managers must contend with technological innovation along with an ever-growing global economy in which events on one end of the globe will affect your company. Making effective decisions is much more difficult in this brave new world, and systems thinking provides a model of decision-making that helps organizations effectively deal with change and adapt. It is a component of a learning organization, which is an organization that facilitates learning throughout the organization to transform itself and adapt.
System thinking is a method of critical thinking by which you analyze the relationships between the system's parts in order to understand a situation for better decision-making. In simpler terms, you look at a lot of the trees, other plants and critters living around the trees, the weather, and how all these parts fit together in order to figure out the forest.
First, we should begin by defining a system. A system is a set of parts that interact and affect each other, thereby creating a larger whole of a complex thing.

Tumblr media
Let's start with a simple example from nature: the Earth. Our planet is a very complex system consisting of atmosphere, water, mountains, plains, jungles, plants, insects, animals, humans, and our technological wonders, just to name a few. A scientist may look at many interactions of these parts in researching climate change. General patterns may be found in these interactions that may help explain the system and find solutions to the problems by changing the patterns of interaction between the parts.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snU-naxY5GU
Tumblr media
Now, let's apply the idea of a system to business. We'll start small and work our way up. A business is a system consisting of many parts: employees, management, capital, equipment, and products, among others. Your business and your competitors comprise a system, which we may call an industry. Different industries - along with consumers, governments, and non-governmental organizations - make up our economic system. It can get even more complex, but we'll stop here.
System thinking is a major departure from the old way of business decision-making in which you would break the system into parts and analyze the parts separately. Supporters of system thinking believe that the old way is inadequate for our dynamic world, where there are numerous interactions between the parts of a system, creating the reality of a situation. According to system thinking, if we examine the interactions of the parts in a system, we will see larger patterns emerge. By seeing the patterns, we can begin to understand how the system works. If the pattern is good for the organization, we can make decisions that reinforce it; but if the pattern is bad for the organization, we can make decisions that change the pattern.

The most futile way to change a system is to fight against it without a strategy. Everything in existence developed into reality, it was never fought into reality or entered into reality by chance or through just force. To change a system, the new one must be given a gradual process to develop into its full form practicing consistently the desired change. just like the old system took time to develop. . . . . #leadership #systemthinking #success #thinking #entrepreneur #inspiration #mindset #entrepreneurship #love #goals #coaching #leader #marketing #leadershipdevelopment #life #motivationalquotes #quotes #opportunity #challenge #growth #inspire #education #believe #system #community #leaders #africa #training #corruption https://www.instagram.com/p/CVQqPcPq2NP/?utm_medium=tumblr

What is Systematic thinking?
Systematic thinking is a process. Your mind gets aligned with the process of life to manifest things. With the systematic thinking your life becomes process oriented and not the result oriented. Your whole attention shifts to the process of life.
In a day you pick the actions that is important and the one’s that holds to bring permanent shift to your life.
From meditation, to exercise, from reading habits, to conscious eating habits, you bring your awareness to your day to day life.
Systematic thinking is to plan your day ahead in the morning. You clear in your head, how you wish to proceed in your life. You apply the systematic thinking to a single day and then you take it over to your life.
The practice of Raj-yoga Meditation plays an important role in the application of systematic thinking into your life.
The systematic thinking is not only to plan into the future, but to see the future reality clear in your head. You are absolutely clear in your head about how you wish to move forward in your life. Once the things are clear in your head, all it requires is the application of it in the outside world.

We continuously try to increase our understanding of the world around us. One typical way of doing this is by creating models that simulate reality. We simplify the world, break a problem down in bite-size pieces, and often leave out the passing of time. A typical example is the supply and demand curve that is used in economics.
But what happens if we accidentally forget to include an important variable or relation? Or what happens when time passes, the relation between some variables change? System thinking tries to take these factors into account. Here we offer five simple questions to help you along in preventing these issues, and more...
