Speaking of the Pretender AU, I meant to ask this awhile ago but I forgot

Can the parasites in the pretender au infest other species or just Cybertronians. Considering their currently on a planet with an ever growing population of squishy humans to pick from I feel it would be a legitimate concern

Can they? In theory, yes.

Megatron is very very concerned about Optimus infecting anything, which is his main reason for hunting the Prime down across the galaxy despite the fact that he fled Cybertron. He refuses to allow the Pretenders to adapt and spread.

Upon arriving on Earth, Optimus would begin efforts to see if the native life forms are compatible. He wouldn't take any joy in bringing new species into the fold simply because it would be seen as disgusting. He is a failsafe meant to preserve Cybertronian kind, not other species. So his attempts at infecting would likely end up partially Cyberforming whatever he is messing with.

Will he infect the species on Earth to get a better idea of the land? Yes he will. Will he take joy in it? Nope not at all. He would want to keep it all contained to a degree. For this reason, he's fine with the children being around. They are good test subjects. Not that they are aware of course.

Ramble about the TFP kids

sometimes I feel like people misinterpret these three, especially Miko and Jack. i've seen others write Miko off as an annoying girl who messes up everything, and jack as a boring/bland character. I actually haven't seen much "hate" on raf, we all love raf lol.

and of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, i totally understand being annoyed by the humans and just wanting the transformer action ! but for me personally, i've always really liked their dynamic and personalities in TFP. i love how much they act like siblings, and how they're so different from each other but love each other like family. we also have to remember they're still kids, so they're gonna act like kids.

Miko runs into situations head first, she acts before she thinks. yes, this gets her in trouble a lot but it also makes her quick to take action in dangerous situations (even if she was the one her got herself in that situation in the first place). i love how she's not afraid to be herself, she's loud, states her opinion, wears those funky shoes, etc. it's just her character yk? she's a wrecker, she's tough and does what she wants, but she also cares about her friends and isn't afraid to express that. an example i can think of off the top of my head is in that one episode about the three being stuck in an alternate dimension; raf dropped his glasses and although miko teased him about it, she still ran and got the glasses back.

now for Jack, he's pretty much the opposite of Miko. that doesn't mean he lacks character and/or personality though. his personality IS being average, introverted, and overall a pretty neutral guy. unlike miko and raf, he doesn't want anything to do with the bots at first. he's also incredibly selfless and caring. and those qualities are ones that i think some people tend to overlook. when jack's bully, vince, got captured by knockout, he still wanted to save him. despite vince being an absolute asshole. jack also risks his life for people he cares about, as well as people he doesn't. not to mention he and miko snap back and forth, so both of them are at least similar in the sassy department lol.

as for Raf, i know i said i haven't really seen hate on his character but i'm gonna talk about him anyways. him being able to understand bumblebee makes a lot of sense to me and isn't just some "random quirky ability he has". number one, raf is extremely smart, and very good with computers, so it makes sense that'd he'd be good at decoding and understanding what bumblebee's beeps mean. (idk anything about computers and coding and all of that so i'm just assuming that has something to do with him being able to understand bumblebee LMAO, honestly i might look into this and make a separate post abt it). secondly, raf and bumblebee are pretty similar, so that's another reason they are greater at understanding each other. they're both the youngest in their groups (from what i remember) and they each struggle with being understood, even by their own family.

in conclusion for this little ramble here, i love the TFP kids so much and their personalities are really fun to analyze. as well as the relationships they have with each other and the bots. i think that's another thing i really enjoy about TFP and the humans, the human-bot relationships. yes they're guardians to the kids but they eventually become family to each other. and as ratchet says, "they've grown to need each other". the kids aren't just some random humans who hang out at the base, they help out on missions and, as i've said a billion times in this post, they've become family.

note: i'm sick and slightly delirious while writing this so hopefully everything makes sense and isnt too repetitive lol, also please feel free to ramble in the comments or add onto this, i love reading them <3

Okay, I don't know if you're answering questions again since you just got back and you don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but this has been on my mind for a while.

In all of the timelines where a character is in AoP, how would they react to Optimus being different? He's a lot more chill and open and hands-on now that he's not in charge or a Prime. Wheeljack and Arcee noticed and were surprised by the charges, so what would the others think of this?

Bumblebee would be happy about it since now he can bond more with his mentor *cough cough* dad. Ratchet is likely confused as hell since this isn't how Optimus would normally act. I imagine that Knockout just vibes with it since he's never interacted with Optimus outside the battlefields. What do you think?

Oh Knockout would probably be vibing and just gathering all the gossip and tea regarding Optimus' change in behavior. It's amazing how calm and relaxed he looks.

Ratchet is just wondering what the hell this world did to him. How is he smiling more often now?!

Ultra Magnus would hate the idea that reckless behavior and insanity is not only allowed but encouraged.

Bulkhead is weirded out by the fact that Optimus is different. He's seeing Optimus smile more. Smokescreen is definitely surprised because he's practically idolized Optimus.

Bumblebee would be happy that Optimus is more expressive, but there's a lingering thought in the back of his mind of how the Autobots and the war might have put too much stress on him. It guilt, and a little bit of jealously, that a world that's in so much peril is where Optimus has been shown to be the most content.

TFP Kids love Optimus' change in attitude. It's a little weird, but damn it, this Optimus might be willing to party!

I will GLADLY tell you more dear anon! Its still in production, BUT my thoughts go something like this:

The Bots and Cons have landed on Earth in the 8th century rather than the 21st. Due to series of mishaps, the Autobots end up scattered all over the world initially. They get back together quickly once groundbridges are established, but the bots have already taken on new appearances by that point. With no vehicles of reasonable technological quality on the planet, the bots have instead taken on the only metallic thing on the surface, that being armor.

The story progresses differently with Fowler being a sword for hire from Baghdad territory and June being a former Abbess. Jack is June's son as normal and he is training to be a Squire. Rafael is the eighth son of the resident Lord and has taken to training to be a scholar since it was either that or the monastery. Miko is a young Japanese recently orphanage child who got picked up by Wheeljack when he found her freezing to death on the streets. The language barrier between her and the others is quite real and so she largely relies on Wheeljack and Bulkhead to translate as she learns the language.

This story takes place in England and the Autobots camp out in a castle that Fowler took for himself and his mercenary crew a few years back. The Con's keep their warship but struggle to locate the Autobots due to the lack of any and all tech on the planet.

Its still a work in progress, but here are the design bases I have so far.

Ratchet landed in Norway and ended up getting himself Norse armor design something like this:

Bumblebee was plopped down in Wessex and choose Saxon styled armor as his alt of choice.

Bulkhead got thrown toward China against his will and found himself bulky as ever.

Wheeljack was thrilled to find himself in Japan when he arrived and promptly picked the armor that suites him best.

Arcee crash landed in Baghdad territory and chose the only armor that allows her to move.

Cliffjumper landed himself in North America and was rather starved for options, but he chose anyway.

He has the weakest armor out of all the team. He tried his best, but his armor barely qualifies as such due to the lack of metal. He looks the part though.

As for the Cons? Haven't thought too much about them yet, but Soundwave got himself something like this:

Allright here are my redraw redesigns of the tfp kids as reindeer

I personally think out of the three my favorite one was Miko I thought I did the other designs well but she kinda stole the show.

She also as you can tell drove me insane trying to find close or similar colors so oof I also had to simply her design a lot because I couldn't figure out how to include other things into her reindeer design.

My second favorite was raf because his was just kinda chill I feel like it could have been better but I really struggled with finding similar colors because I have a limited amount of colors to choose from .

Jack was my least favorite but that doesn't mean I don't like him I just hadn't finalized how I was gonna plan on how the clothing was gonna work so as you can tell with Jack I first thought to use the colors of his clothes on a collar of sorts but later with the other designs I went with bags because I thought the collars made them feel more like normal deer which I decided when designing Miko that instead of that they were turned in reindeer for some reason.

I am still finalizing on how and why this happened in my head.

So because of that when or if I get to it I will probably do something different for Jack like giving a bag or something that makes sense for him.

But other than that I'm satisfied

I also had Miko be a piebald reindeer and I think that really fit so yeah.

When Look at my old tfp kids reindeer drawing above it's honestly really fascinating seeing how I differ in my thought process when it came to how designed things I still have a bit of a soft spot for them but I really feel like I improved on my art.

Jackson Darby - Moved to jasper when he was young, dad left-, Made a friend (vince), both of them realize they are trans, years later lost that friend, works at McDonald's, out of nowhere is now in a war that has giant aliens robots, "adopted" two kids (miko n raf), almost dying multiple times, gets his friend back (vince), him and vince watches over six teenagers now, everything fine, everything isn't fine, is now in a war with GODS, almost dies again, demons exist now, gets possessed for a bit, has a white strands of hair now with a light blue end, gets throw into a other dimension by some crackhead-, almost dies again (i swear he gets no break), gets back to his, everything fine for a bit, gets possessed again, the gods war is "over", gets a bf (vince), wait- the Transformers war is still going on, AND THE MF SPIRIT THAT POSSESSED HIM IS STILL HERE, probably hasn't slept in days, He needs a break

So in light of recent bots getting freaked out by human bodies (hilarious btw thank you for those 😂), one idea popped into my head. So I have a "Dad sneeze" (as a 17 year old female this amuses my dad to no end) that sounds like I'm getting stabbed. Miko has this as well and will lie in wait for the perfect opportunity to get the bots to jump. The bots will never know peace ever again

That's hilarious as a concept. YOINKING it thank you.

Sneezing is a thing for Cybertronians, in a sense at any rate. They are capable of blowing air out of their vents harshly to clear debris and reset their systems. They are used to their own kind making such sounds. But the squishies? Nah that's TERRIFYING.

Miko figured out the bots get scared of humans sneezing when Rafael had several sneezes in short succession. She watched as Bulkhead tripped and fell in his panic. Arcee skidded a bit on her wheels. Bumblebee's door wings perked right up and his optics cycled wide in terror. Ratchet cursed and dropped his tools. Optimus keyboard smashed hard. Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus were in the middle of an argument at the time and immediately slipped up and halted, their respective horns blaring.

Miko learned, and through this, she thought it would be even more hilarious if the sneeze performed was even louder. Thus her scheme was formed. Her sneezes are loud and aggressive, the team do not know this. As such, it wasn't hard to wait until the team were doing a weekly debrief, and upon feeling a sneeze coming up, allow it to run its course.

Sounding like a gunshot, Miko's sneeze sent the entire team into various states of alarm. Optimus puffed up like a cat, his plating flaring and his finials snapping up. Ratchet jolted so harshly that he looked ready to duck and cover. Bulkhead and Wheeljack both dove for cover, uncaring of grace. Ultra Magnus threw whatever he was holding in Miko's direction, which she barely missed being squished by. Bumblebee and Smokescreen made various noises, Smokescreen squealing and Bee dipping into frantic whirls. Arcee froze up like a deer in the headlights.

Despite the danger, it was a win in Miko's book even if it resulted in a dent in the wall from Ultra Magnus's gut reaction.

So I made these pretty late yesterday so i didnt get to post them so im gonna post them here.

Quick backstory: so in my mind, Optimus prime has the same birthday as Peter Cullen because the two are so intertwined in culture that they’re essentially the same thing ( at least in my eyes Peter Cullen = Optimus Prime). So Optimus has the same birthday as mr. Cullen too.

Now, I ALSO have a head cannon that the tfp kids make a spinning wheel or a hat draw for random days of the year, and whatever day the pick becomes one of the autobots “birthdays” because they want a special occasion for the autobots but they don’t actually have birthdays to celebrate. The random day that Optimus gets is June 28th, so the kids get him a little gift and pit it in his room when he’s busy. When Optimus gets back, he sees the gift and gets confused, reads the tag, and almost immediately starts crying bc the poor guy hasn’t gotten any true forms of affection in like thousands of years. He doesn’t actually open the present (ever), instead just keeping it in his subspace and taking it out whenever he needs some motivation or comfort ( the poor mech cries over the present for like 15 minutes too)

Fun fact: irl, Optimus Prime is now 38 years old. So happy 38th birthday sad boi

In the Kids in AOT AU, what if General Bryce (under VERY scary threats by Fowler and June) had a team figure out a way to recreate the wormhole incident? Only turning it into a portal of sorts from Paradise to Earth.

Jack, Miko, and Raf now have the option to return home or at least visit to reassure their families.

As do Optimus and Megatron.

But also the Survey Corps and other team members now have the option to step foot into another version of their world.

How do they all take it?

TFP Kids Part 3

Been a while since I've talked about the TFP Kids in AOP.

The thing about this scenario is that the Autobots would definitely get involved in tracking down Jack, Miko, and Raf, definitely giving General Bryce the business before Wheeljack ultimately finds out where they ended up.

So when they all get there, June is on a hunt for her son, and runs to him and hugs him, while also completely confused about the 3D gear he's wearing.

"Mom, I'm fine! I'm okay!" Jack yelped as June peppered his cheek with kisses.

But how long that would take would ultimately depend on how fast the Autobots and humans can work together to get this right. But they do. All the Autobots are immediately suspicious of Optimus, but Jack, Miko, and Raf are vouching for him, along with the Survey Corps. The Autobots make Optimus hold the Star Saber to prove it's him. The blade glows, and the Autobots immediately tackle him into a hug.

But now there are a few things left in the air, such as Megatron's fate and the Eldians on the island. Would Megatron have the courage to stay and try to make amends with Optimus, or flee at the knowledge that he will be executed by the Autobots? Is Megatron a coward or not? Plain and simple. Also, the Eldians on the island have a way out if this plan doesn't work. The ultimate question now is would they take it.

The emotions are a bit complicated in this and I would probably need more time to think about it.
