Do you have any advice for anyone who is trying to get into art?

Yea sure! (I assume it’s about starting to draw or anything related) I think it should be prefaced by saying that your best weapon for anything art related is patience, it takes time, it might not be the result you hoped for (bit tricky sometimes because it’s not what you imagined in your head and ur disappointed), but you gotta keep trying

Nowadays we got So many art resources online to get started i think it’s safe to say you might find anything you look for!! I would recommend youtube vids :-] Not only about TUTORIAL. HWO TO ART. but speedpaints or process to see how things might be done if you’re looking for anything traditional or digital !! Books and advices by pro artists online as well! The latter does a lot for me

I think to get started Started for real you can first start with traditional and start sketching simple things you see as reference (can be pic on the internet or irl stuff) to get your hand used to drawing, whether traditional or not. Art in general is very much abt observation tbh. If you feel like smth is off with your drawing you really gotta analyze everything between your drawing and reference. Also idk about others but for me my main boost for art is looking at my favorite artists art. Get inspired by the art of others, it must always be an inspiration to do better and keep going, and to not get you lower by comparing yourself to it.

Anyway yeah anything you might desire to draw first start by that! Documentation is also important methinks for basically everything ranging from color to anatomy! But most of all art must be Fun, you won’t gain anything by beating yourself into doing art I can’t stress this enough, go at your own pace doesn’t matter if you draw everyday or once a year! Draw what you want! Good luck!!

a/n: this is extremely specific and self indulgent bc i have 0 car enthusiast friends so i'm forcing y'all to listen to my ramblings thanks

KEN RYUUGUJI → Nissan Skyline GTR R32 

☆ I can picture Draken with any modded up Sedan with a wide body kit tbh, in fact, his car is the most modified of them all, both in performance and cosmetics, since he does own an automotive shop.

☆So he spends his free time tinkering on his envied dark pink Skyline, and he’s arguably one of the most skilled drivers out there, even if not the most competitive one.

KEISUKE BAJI → Mazda RX-7 

☆ Baji is a menace, and his car reflects that perfectly. His black and red Mazda makes the other racers quake in fear just by looking at it and knowing the amount of raw skill its driver has, but, while Baji does enjoy a good ol’ fashioned sprint race, it would be a shame to have such a classic car and not master the art of drifting, so that’s exactly what he did.

☆You can find him in the most dangerous corners, the loud exhaust and the sound of the screeching tires being heard from miles away. A bit of a hoonigan.

SOUYA KAWATA → Subaru Legacy GT Spec B

☆Angry doesn’t really care that much for competition, he’s more of a casual racer/cruiser, that’s why he has a more casual - and less modded - car.

☆His blue Subaru might not look that intimidating or fast, but he makes up for it with skill, deceiving any rival who decides to underestimate him. His car is the textbook definition of a sleeper.

NAHOYA KAWATA → Toyota Supra A80

☆Like his younger brother, Smiley is never at an event that much for the race itself - that’s just an afterthought -, no, he’s much more focused on showing off his tuned Supra whose looks can make any head turn.

☆Sure, he loves winning, but he’d be lying if he said he didn’t enjoy the attention of the crowd fawning over his red, neon-and-audio-system-in-the-trunk clad car, especially once he revs up to show off his extremely loud exhaust and backfire.

HAJIME KOKONOI → Stock Rimac Nevera

☆Listen, Koko doesn’t actually give a shit about cars, he just likes to win, hence why he’d rather fork out an ungodly amount of money to import a supercar instead of modding a normal one.

☆That’s also why he prefers drag racing, since he knows he has no skill, winning them shouldn’t be a problem against more skilled drivers as long as he has the most horsepower - and money - in the room.

RAN HAITANI → Lotus Exige Cup 430

☆Ran values luxury and elegance more than anything, so it makes sense he would have one of the most well known Lotus models. Sure, it might not be your usual street racing car, but, at the starting line, it’s always the sleekest, and its sheer power makes everyone look his way and whisper about it once he arrives in any race.

☆ Granted, much like Smiley, he would rather stay on the sidelines feeding off the attention he gets off onlookers gushing about his expensive vehicle.

HARUCHIYO SANZU → Mitsubishi Lancer Evo I

☆When it comes to driving aggressively, Sanzu is worse than Baji. He doesn’t mind playing dirty to win, and will ram into any car that dares stand too close for comfort at the track, even if it’s at the expense of his own car.

☆He just really loves the adrenaline rush of crashing his opponents and seeing the fear in their eyes first hand once they spot his baby pink Lancer at the starting line.

Considering that this encompassing so many characters, I'm going to be sticking to the ones I am certain Mirio could beat and the match ups I consider the most interesting. If there is any one specific fight you want me to talk about, let me know.

Present Mic: Ironically, Mirio's biggest weakest may be his greatest strength. Since Mirio can't hear anything, Present Mic can't really harm him. And since Mic is such a stationary fighter, Mirio could just swim up to him and punch him in the stomach.

Rock Lock: Anything he puts up is going to be bypassed without an issue. Sure, he could try to lock Mirio down via his costume, but he needs to turn his hand to apply the affect. And in that moment, Mirio is going to become intangible and attack from a different angle.

Pixie Bob: While drastically changing the environment would be a major problem for most, that doesn't matter to Mirio. No matter where or how she moves the terrain, Mirio has a way to move through it and keep gunning for Pixie Bob. It may prolong the fight by redirecting and confusing Mirio, but I still think he'd sink a win.

Fat Gum: While it would normally be a bad idea to launch yourself into Fat Gum's stomach, Mirio can phase right out after he's made an attack. Since Fat Gum can't really counter that, Mirio could widdle away at any reserves he has. Fat Gum does have his kinetic return, but he needs to charge that up and land the hit, which is easier said then done.

ittosara / early twenties, building their home

<3 modern au

The first piece of furniture they buy for the new apartment is a dining table.

It's wood and old and they found it on Facebook Marketplace for a suspiciously low price, but it's the first thing in their new home that's wholly theirs. They buy it with both of their money- Itto's salary and the bit of money Sara gets from her scholarship stipend.

Itto watches a bunch of YouTube videos and he splurges on paint strippers and buffers and whatever tools he would need for building and repairing, because this was his home, and he'd be damned if he wouldn't take care of it.

He still goes to work, he's always mainly done consultation and remote working (computer/design) stuff, and he's thankful for the pay and flexibility since he liked that there was someone who could look after the apartment most of the time. Sara is still a full-time law student, and she's also interning at a corporate law firm. Once, she told him she was thinking about doing financial consultation work to help him with money, but he told her he could handle the bills and expenses in the meantime because he saw how tired she is all the time. He loves her and he knows she can support herself but he wants to take care of her, too. Whenever she feels bad about it he tells her she really shouldn't, and when she insists, he tells her she has the rest of their lives to make it up to him.

Whatever free time he has is dedicated to fixing whatever he can. He strips the dining table and chairs and sands them down until the beautiful grains of the wood can be seen. He uses a dark stain and Sara almost cries the first time she sees the finished product.

Sara buys new faucets and a showerhead the next day.

Before long, they have a couch (which Itto re-upholsters) and a bed frame (which he also spruces up). They decide to splurge on a nice mattress after about three months of saving (they've been using their college mattresses; squeezed together). Living together had felt like an extended sleepover at that point, like how they used to camp at each other's dorm rooms back in undergrad. But, sleeping on the mattress that they bought for themselves for the first time made everything feel so much more real. They both wake up earlier than usual the next morning, both planning on bringing the other breakfast in bed. They laugh and cook together, hip to hip, shoulder to shoulder, the morning sun illuminating them both.

Itto also starts a mini garden in their kitchen, just herbs at first, lined up on their windowsill and pleasantly green. Then, it grows, and before long Itto has potted plants all over their one-bedroom one-bathroom. Itto waters them and Sara dusts them off.

There is one corner of their apartment that's been designated as Sara's study space and another as Itto's working space. Itto leaves her encouraging sticky notes all over her sticky-note wall, and Sara cleans and prepares fruits for him so he can grab whatever he needs from the fridge when she's away.

At night, Itto usually cooks, and Sara cleans. Sometimes she tells him she's had a long day, so he turns his phone's volume the entire way (Taylor Swift and Radiohead and who else is in their shared playlist) and they dance and sway before they go to bed. When he tells her he's had a long day, they sit on their couch- or, Sara sits, and Itto lays with his head on her lap, and they talk. Or, Sara talks (about her classes or her internship or her friends or whatever book she's read most recently) and runs her fingers through his hair and he listens. Her voice has always calmed him, after all. He doesn't think it will ever change, no matter how many years pass.

In their second year in the apartment, they get a dog, and they name it Dog, which Itto finds exceedingly funny. Sara doesn't, so they get a cat the next year and name it Algernon.

When she graduates, Itto and his entire family hold a party for her. All their friends are there, too. She looks at him and the cake in his hands and thinks that she's never felt so loved before. Itto tells her he will spend the rest of their lives making her feel this way.
