So if you were wondering why River took her friends (family) and left The Capital Wasteland and headed west well it's very simple

She got tired of being treated like a savior she was tired of random wastelanders treating her like a god and worshipping the ground she walked on

She got tired of being The Brotherhood's poster child

She got fed up with The Brotherhood essentially stealing her father's life's work

She got tired of Three Dog talking about her and treating her like the second coming of Christ

What really set her over the edge was The Church of Saint Monica making her parents saints and asking her if they can make her a saint as well

This is when River got fed up

She took her friends (family) and packed up her shit and left The Capital Wasteland but not before telling Rivet City, The Brotherhood, Three Dog and anyone else who treats her like a god among men to go fuck themselves and headed west to get as far away from DC as she could

Y’all I need help writing Paladin Danse.

So I’m writing a story where my Sole Survivor (Gabby) goes with Danse to the Mojave and they meet my Courier 6 (Adrien). So I have some questions:

1.) How would Danse react/respond to Adrien who uses advanced technology to help an Independent New Vegas and uses cybernetics to extend their own life?

2.) How would he react to Veronica and the Followers of the Apocalypse?

3.) How would he react to the Mojave Chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel?

Freeside is so strangely homoerotic to me and I love it. LIKE?? dude he may be like this 8 foot tall mf who's like known to be brutal and just like a killing machine (see 'Monster/Terror of the East' , 'Caesar's Hammer' , etc.) but bro there's a reason he's like a myth and the Legate. all of his conquering and killing does play a role in that but he isn't just that. he's loyal, calculating, ruthless, eloquent and just,, he's the perfect man for his position. lanius is more than ready to wipe out any enemy to the Legion yet you can get him to surrender with a speech check; which is essentially him not overestimating his and the Legion's abilities to hold both the East + the West. and he was like such a good sport about it too, all "yeah ill get my army up and see you next war <3". he's not just all the blood of the tribes he's conquered and the enemies he's slain in the name of Caesar. he's both the sagacity that Vulpes has and the brutality that Joshua had in his Legate days.

so yeah, i just think he's neat and kinda unfair to reduce him to like a brute
