“Y’know this can be considered kidnapping,” Levi jokes from the passenger seat.

You place one hand over your chest, feigning shock as the other still grips the steering wheel. “I would never,” you continue before placing both hands back on the wheel. “Besides,” you briefly glance at him with a grin. “You came willingly.”

Levi saved you from a terrible fate, slicing the fingers off a titan before it had the chance to swallow you whole. After, you insisted that he come over to your place so you can make him a cup of tea. It’s the least you could do is what you told him. Levi’s not one to accept a gracious offer like this from a civilian but there was something about you that was inviting to him, and he couldn’t help but give in to his curiosity. You two spent the next hour talking. Well, it was mostly you doing the talking but you asked Levi questions and surprisingly he answered. After that initial meeting, you checked in on him from time to time. He got used to you popping in. Your visits became so frequent his squad knew you by name.

The rumbling followed shortly after and you didn’t hear from him for a little while. Of course you were worried. You surprised yourself, and him, by practically jumping on him the day he got back. Since then, you two have been closer than ever.

“Come on, you’re not even going give me the slightest hint?”

You fight back a chuckle as you answer. “Weren’t you a captain? Aren’t captains supposed to be patient?”

“I wouldn’t have gotten anything done as a captain if I were always patient now, would I?”

“Fair enough.” You look ahead at the road in front of you, appreciating the sight. It’s a nice evening, the sky has transitioned from a deep blue to an almost black. Sparkles of light are start to peek out.

“Stars.”

“What about them?”

“We’re going to see them.”

“I see them every night.”

“Not like this. We’re stargazing tonight.”

You drive down a deserted road; the light pollution fades away as you approach a lake. You see the brilliant shine of its water and smile.

“Okay, this should be fine.” You say before stopping the car. You don’t turn off the headlights so you can see what you’re doing. You grab Levi’s wheelchair from the bed of your truck and help him onto it before you wheel him right in front of the lake.

“Trying to drown me?” You can hear the smirk in his voice.

“I would never drown Humanity’s Strongest Soldier.” You say with a little more admiration than you mean to. Levi hums in response and you take it as your cue to get your seat. “Be right back!”

You feel a steady breeze hit you as you walk to and from the truck. You approach Levi with your chair in tow. His head is tilted upwards, towards the sky.

“So…what do you think?” You ask him as you take your place next to him.

“Not bad.” He nods to himself, seemingly admiring the stars scattered above him.

“Right?” You smile, gently nudging him with your elbow as you take in the view yourself. Your eyes jump from star to star. “Can you spot any of the constellations?”

You glance at Levi and you can see him scanning over the pattern of the stars for a moment before finding a familiar sight. “Orion.”

“Good eye.” You smile but it quickly drops when you realize what you just said, not wanting Levi to think you’re making fun of him. “Sorry, I didn’t mean-“

“It’s alright.” Levi cuts you off with a small chuckle. “I only have the one. I’m grateful it can still do its job.”

You sigh, relieved, and go back to admiring the stars. You both sit there in comforting silence for a while. The breeze starts to pick up and you feel the uncomfortable chill prickle at your skin. You don’t want to be the reason you two back up and go home so you try to subtly blow warm air into your hands. That, of course, does not go unnoticed by Levi.

“Cold?”

“A little but it’s okay -“

As if by reflex, Levi places a gentle hand over your cold one.

“Does that help?” He asks you, his eyes seemingly say they hope it does and it’s hard for you to answer because he’s so warm?

Levi interprets your lack of response for you not wanting his hand on yours so he ends up quickly pulling back. “Sorry.” He says quietly, the lightest pink coloring his cheeks. However, that doesn’t stop him from trying to help you. “We can also share my jacket if that’s better.” He tries to drape it over both yours and his knees but it isn’t long enough.

“Levi-“

“I don’t need it, it’s fine. You can stick your hands under it.” He drapes it just over your knees.

“Levi…” You start slowly, a smile in your voice. “How about we just,” You pick up his wrist, creating an opening so you can lean into him. Levi looks a bit startled but he follows your lead and wraps his arm around your shoulder. “And now the jacket can cover both of us. Is that okay?”

“T-that works.” He breathes out before he covers the both of you with his jacket.

There’s another moment of silence before Levi speaks once again. “Thank you.” He utters quietly.

“For what?” You ask him as you stare up at the sky.

“Showing me the stars.” ✨

You and Marco made it a game to see who could catch who first under the mistletoe. Sneaking around corners, avoiding any doorways in the Moby Dick that already have mistletoes on them. You kept a handful of mistletoes in your back pocket, ready to attack at a moment's notice. The other crewmates made some bets on who would win; it was split down the middle, as you and Marco were both fierce in your own rights. You eyed some crewmates warily, though, unsure if Marco had roped them into helping him win this little game.

Speaking of Marco, you haven’t seen hair nor feather of him all day. Making you even more on edge that he could be hiding somewhere, ready for a surprise attack. You decided to make your way to the deck, out in the open sea air. The ship was decorated with plenty of lights and decorations, and some of you even managed to get Pops to dress up like Santa. A Santa who was currently getting wasted on eggnog. The sight made you relax your guard a bit, which was the perfect time for Marco to attack. Attack from above, to be precise; the glow from his blue phoenix form blended in perfectly with the various Christmas-themed lights.

So you didn’t have a chance of noticing until a mistletoe was placed right on top of your nose. Bumping into your face softly as Marco was hovering right above you, Mistletoe attached to his taloned feet with a string.

“Caught you, yoi.” He smirks down at you, this time intentionally bumping the Mistletoe into you now. You shake a finger at him. “You’re cheating; you’re using your devil fruit powers!” Marco shrugs. “I don’t remember there being a rule against it, yoi.” The lazy smirk still present on his face as he turns upside down, his face now replacing the earlier Mistletoe, bumping his nose on yours. “I still get my prize for winning now, right?”

You look at his upside-down face and roll your eyes. “You’re lucky you’re cute, but next year? No using devil fruits.” You gently cup his cheek and lean in for a smooch, which he happily accepted. After the quick kiss, Marco did a small spin and landed upright for a quick second on the ground before scooping you up in his arms. Flying up above the Moby Dick with you in his arms, the ship shone brightly in the endless sea. Like a shining star in the night sky.

Marco rubs his nose against yours, resting his forehead on you as he looks into your eyes. The glow from the flaming feathers and the lights from below twinkle in both of your eyes. His voice is a low, gentle whisper as he leans in for a second kiss.

“Merry Christmas, my love."

[a little description of what I think it would look like below the cut.]

Context: the party is in Avernus and Gale had to cast it in a hurry and I like the concept from Critical Role that the Mansion is affected by the emotional estate, feelings and memories of the caster.

A big parlor reminiscent of the Elfsong Tavern's welcomes the exhausted party in. It looks quite similar to the real thing but with a distinctive Waterdhevian flair. Everything they need is right there in this room in an open floor plan, because Gale didn't have the time to be a meticulous and dramatic architect (yet).

The crackling hearth in the center flickers with a purple flame that isn't emiting heat, but cooling the environment, a godsent after the heat of Avernus. Nine comfortable bedrolls and floor armchairs are displaced around it.

In the corner there's an enormous bathtub, not unlike the one in the House of Hope.

The walls are either occupied with bookshelves filled with books, his favorite tomes, most certainly, repeated over and over again, or paintings. Some are his favorite pieces, he recognises them from afar, but others... He doesn't know. And he's hesitant to find out what the spell took inspiration from to make the paintings at all.

But the most impressive part is the ceiling. Or rather, the illusion of its absence. Above their heads the lilac sky of the Astral Plane shines a soft, gentle twilight. Perfect for a good long rest or two.

His words would touch Camila so much that as she gazes into his eyes, she can see stars shining in them.

She smiles, slowly interlacing her fingers with Philip's.

"I would say the same thing about you."

With a soft smile, Beardo Philip thanks her.

Afterward, the two lean in and share a passionate kiss as a shooting star passes by them in the night sky.

Stella’s Spells ☀️🌒✨🌟💫( Canon and Fanon)

Disclaimer: I do like the headcanon that Stella doesn’t like her moon powers. Everyone has their ways of showing this but I think it would be because the moon just isn’t her. When I think of Stella I think of her bubbly, sweet personality. Absolute sunshine child. The moon just isn’t that. It represents mystery, calm, and serenity. That doesn’t sound like Stella at all. Well not outwardly. It takes a lot more for her to summon her moon magic than her sun or star magic

Rising sun: Sunlight emanates from her body. Blinding opponents. At first, she could only channel it through her scepter but as she got more powerful she could make it come from herself

Moon Flash: After spinning her scepter she slams it down on the ground a white light envelops the area. This can also make her and multiple people invisible. Making it look like they disappeared.

Reflective mirror: Summons a mirror with her moon powers and makes attacks from opponents attack them instead. (It’s a giant circular mirror, silver)

Sunburst: Little orbs of light will surround the opponent and go off like mini fireworks at the snap of her fingers.

Moon boomerang: boomerang in the shape of a crescent moon that misses the target but gets them when they least suspect it. Disorients them. ( I’m sure this was from Unicorn of War, it’s such a good idea come on now, but I wanted to specify what I think it would do)

Lunar slumber: this spell makes a person fall asleep instantly. It takes the energy out of them after a tiring day. Or maybe an illusion of something that helps them fall asleep( undecided 🤷‍♀️)

Army of constellations: just as the name suggests, she can make figures made out of stars to attack opponents. She usually makes an army of lionesses. (Because she’s a Queen)

Cloud breaker: a beam of light that she shoots up into the sky to break apart clouds, I kinda feel like this would be an Enchantix spell. She parts Stormy clouds. Or Icy snow clouds. Or breaks Darcy’s darkness (I have ideas for these three but they’ll come later)

Sunbeam: She creates a small sun that shoots out a beam. It’s a pretty concentrated and powerful attack so she uses it rarely. It could cause intense damage to the surrounding area. She has to focus on the target to make it hit. It follows until it does.

Black holes embrace: form a black hole on the ground or in the air sucking enemies to it. It’s a teleportation spell(?) but force-full. She has to have been to the place to send them there though. (I looked it up to make sure I was right and yeah black holes are just two stars colliding and creating a supernova)

Moonlight vision finder: when it’s night time she can hit someone with this to always find where they are. It surrounds them in a white light aura. She is the only one who can see it though. It makes her eyes glow silver. Though this spell can only really work best at night.

Eclipse protection: After saying the words “ Rise oh sun that gives vitality, Rise oh moon embracing dreamers in your embrace, grant me your divine power to protect the ones I oh so love and hold dear.” She can create a force field of a mix of her sun and moon powers. I would imagine as she gets stronger she can protect wider areas. But the drawback is that it takes a lot of energy. It also has like black orb that shines on top.

Stellar Collision: multiple orbs of white light that follow a target and hit all at once ( looks like shooting stars really)

Enchanted Moon Shield: A silver shield that appears on her arm. Moon engraving.

Star Shuriken(s): Stars that act as shuriken. She uses it to trap people.
