A few of my Junji Ito-inspired makeup looks! I’m so captivated by his artistry. Fantastical horror had always been a huge inspiration of mine when I used to paint, so to try to recreate his work in my face was so exciting!🤩🤩🤩 What’s your favorite horror manga??
La Llorona as a story of female rage against the patriarchy and a tale of devastation at the results of colonial Spaniards is the superior version of her story
Spooky vibes 💀👻 a little la llorona post for octoyendas, I'm like super behind but it's good xoxo, now i tried to do something different, idk if I like it but I definetly don't hate it.

Once, there was a woman who fell in love with a noble man. They both gotten married and had two children together. But as time went by, the noble man became more and more distant towards the women while he gave more love and attention towards the children. Then one day, while on a stroll towards the river with her children, the women spotted the noble man with another women at his side. When approached, the noble man completely disregarded the women while giving his attentions to the children before leaving once again with the other women. Feeling betrayed and blind with rage, she dragged her children towards the river and drowned them. Realizing what she done, she threw herself in the river. Hoping to join her children in the afterlife. But her actions had caused her to not pass on, not until she finds her children. So in her agony, she is forever damned to walk the earth, crying out for children.
To this day, many say that you can hear her cries every now and then. Some even warn to not go near the rivers or bodies of water at night; for you might encounter La Llorona, The Weeping Woman…
In my hierarchy of needs, I place your attention before sleep
When I set out to seek validation, its you who I go looking for
My intuition is never wrong and lets be frank, you are no innocent man
Do you even know what an ignored email does to a woman?
I should have known tv shows are fictional and you’re just an actor
Appreciate you increasing the distance between us, helps days go by faster
My silence symbolizes an ending; yours symbolizes a tantrum
Don’t believe me but blame me instead, ain’t that my perfect man?
Its time I escape the corner you have put me in
Its time I learn that you’ll always have the upper hand
Why did you fight to conquer the east, when all you were going to do was ignore my texts?
Mistake’s surely mine, I invested far too much time
This partnership was doomed from the very beginning; you’re no Robin Hood and I am no Marian
To the one you’ll fool next, hope she never has to wonder what an ignored email does to a woman
