Honestly this is just my review but I just can't like this. The only reason is because of the OG life. For example when the brother started saying stuff like "She used to be a gloomy, detestable girl. Skulking about with that pale. lifeless face like a living corpse." the reason why she ended up that way was because of you. The brother, the whole people in the building.
You knew that she was struggling and being bullied, but you did nothing at all. The maid, the blonde hair, tried to at least do something and even though the OG pushed her away it was clear that she just needed someone by her. She was afraid that kindness would make her weak. So whenever someone acted nice to her or show her sympathy she got scared.
In my own words the brother were obviously the most shitty because they were just bystanders and couldn't even help her and then complain why she look so dead inside. If you were the OG you would think that the brother would probably try to defend you or save you but they just don't care until you changed. they just sit there and let the circus burn or worse they are nice with you by the bullies back but when the bullies come back, they ignore you and just watch. So no wonder why the OG committed suicide. She couldn't take it anymore.
She became paranoid and suicidal because of the pressure until she finally killed herself. the only way she was able to get some sort of attention from others was after death, no longer in control of her body and without anyone else noticing the stranger in walking in her skin.
What make me more angry is the fact that the MC end up forgiving them. Like I know you still have the OG past memories so why... The OG did nothing wrong. She was just simply trying to survive in an environment. And you shouldn't just forgive someone who body is not even your in the first place.
The story is good but the MC is kinda stupid? She like a saint? I mean in her old world she was 19 but bro you don't have to forgive everyone and just forget. It's not that simple... I'm pretty sure the writer who wrote this never felt through what the OG felt because it so unrealistic.
However. Overall this manhwa is good so I give it like a 3.5/5

i started reading The Young Lady is a Royal Chef, i like reading stories where the main characters pursue a dream of cooking, it's always interesting to me, so of course, i had a lot of hope for this one.
spoilers below (not very far, only finished chapter 10 so it's not huge significant spoilers)
so far, it's not bad, the art style is cute, and the girl that possessed the og girl's body is very similar to the og mc in a few ways while having a different personality. thing is, I'm at chapter 11 and everyone is treating the old her like she was a villainess.
the og mc so far from what we've seen was an abused girl who was depressive, her mother figure (i believe she is at least I'm not even sure anymore, troubling translations and such) forced her to eat rotten food and she almost died many times due to them. from what i understand her family before basically didn't do anything to help her due to her being considered useless.
i am dying right now reading this and not of laughter. there have been many instances in this story now with the og family saying things like "she's so different now, she doesn't have that gloomy look in her eyes that made her look like a dead fish, now she's using her head!" and immediately when she told her grandfather of the abused (asking him to save her) the mother figure turned it on her saying that she's lying and such, to which her grandfather believed the mother figure.
if they try to make it seem like they are all very loving to the mc now because she's no longer depressed and like they never neglected her i swear 😭😭😭

Baby's first Thanksgiving with rip wheeler! please and thank you <333
Rachel.....dahling.....why must you make me an offer I can't refuse??!!!! (lol).
Tumblr media
Neither you nor Rip were awoken by the alarm on his phone that usually awoke the two of you during the work week, but rather, the cries of your four month old daughter, Evelyn.
"Relax sugar bear, I've got her," Rip groaned, leaning over to kiss your cheek.
You awoke again, maybe a few minutes or even a half hour, to the snow falling heavily outside and Rip re-entering your room with Baby Evie who had finally calmed down.
"You know young lady," he said, pretending to be stern with her. "Your momma needs her sleep too. We've got a big day ahead of us with all your aunts and uncles, your cousins and everybody coming over for dinner tonight."
You laughed and held out your arms to take Evelyn from your husband. "Did Rhett and the others call?" you asked him.
"Said they'd all be up from Wabang in the next hour if the snow doesn't get worse," Rip explained. "Gettin the house done's gonna be a pain in the royal ass."
You laughed as you sat back and let Evie feed for a little bit, knowing she was probably hungry. A savory smell coming from the kitchen caught you off guard. "Rip is somebody in the kitchen?"
Rip shook his head and shrugged. As soon as you could get out of bed and Evelyn had her fill, you took her right down to the kitchen to find Mo, Thomas Rainwater's right hand man, in your kitchen, peeling a rather large bag of potatoes Rip had gathered from the garden in the backyard.
"Well good morning sleepyheads," Mo greeted.
"Morning Mo," you chuckled. "How long have you been at those potatoes?"
"Been at'em for a good half hour," Mo answered. "Birds's all gutted and brining in the fridge. Don't know what the hell you want done with the corn though."
"Woah wait a sec, ya'll brought corn?" Rip asked him.
"And you mean to tell me you don't remember?" Mo questioned. "I got that shit from my neighbor."
"Wait, the old lady on the rez that owns the corn stand?"
"Of course it's the old lady you brain dead deer turd," Mo laughed. "She's the only owner of a roadside corn stand in the whole of Bozeman!"
Rip went down to the cellar pantry and came back up a few minutes later with the basket of corn, setting it beside the island counter in the kitchen. "Here's hopin we have enough."
"That shit'll feed a whole village for weeks," Mo told Rip as he peeled the potatoes. "Here, you take over the potatoes."
"Yes chef, anything you say chef," Rip chuckled.
"(Y/n) you want anything while I'm in here?" Mo asked you.
"Um just a coffee if you don't mind," you answered. It wasn't long before the coffee was brewed and Evelyn began making grabby hands for her uncle.
"Alright, alright sweetpea you come with me," Mo said, lifting Evelyn from your arms.
You slipped into the kitchen to help your husband peel the potatoes, shuck the corn and get everything ready for when the family arrived. "Well," Rip said as he began chopping the onions. "Not as chaotic as I thought her first Thanksgiving would be."
"Just you wait," you warned him. "John, Thomas, Kayce and Monica will all come traipsing through that door with something freshly dead and throw it on the counter."
Rip laughed before he kissed you. "Happy Thanksgiving sweet thing."
"Happy Thanksgiving you big weirdo," you answered.

The Brown Residence | Brindleton Bay, Simerica
???: Hey, fam! I'm home!
Tumblr media
???: Jenny! Hi, sweetness. How are you?
Jennifer: I'm good, mom. How are you? Where's Dad and Dennis?
Rainbow: I'm alright. They'll probably come down once they smell the food. Want to help me in the kitchen?
Jennifer: Yeah, sure.
Tumblr media
Rainbow: So, what time is your friend coming over?
Jennifer: Pretty soon. He's coming straight from work.
Rainbow: Ah okay. Dennis spoke pretty highly of him.
Jennifer: Yeah, they seemed to hit it off at Halloween. Hopefully, you and Dad do too.
Rainbow: Hopefully, he's as great as ya'll say. Help me stir those veggies will you?
Tumblr media
Jennifer: I think you will think so. He's got a good job, comes from a good family, plus he's really funny and thoughtful.
Rainbow: And where'd you meet him?
Jennifer: Remember when I was volunteering at the homeless shelter last summer? He was volunteering there, as well.
Rainbow: Okay, that's a good sign. 'Cause I have read some other things that-
Tumblr media
???: Smells good in here! Must be a dynamic duo in the kitchen!
Jennifer: Hi, Dad!
Dennis Sr: Hi, baby girl. How are you?
Jennifer: I'm good. How are you?
Tumblr media
Dennis Sr.: Well, I hear there's a boy coming over so I could be better.
Jennifer: Dad. He's great, I promise. You're going to love him.
Dennis Sr.: I hope so. Can't just let anyone snatch up my Baby Girl.
Jennifer: These are examples of things you all shouldn't say when my boyfriend is here.
DJ: Good luck, these two run away all my ladies.
Tumblr media
Jennifer laughs: Hi, Dj.
Rainbow: And what ladies are these? The ones you have plastered all over your bedroom wall? Bring a real girl over here and then we'll talk.
DJ: Dang, mom. You stay cramping my style.
Jennifer chuckles: I'm sure the ladies love DJ.
Doorbell rings
The Browns in Unison: Come in!
Tumblr media
Gianni: Hello, Brown family!
Jennifer: Hi, Gianni. You're just in time for dinner. You already know DJ, this is my mom, Rainbow, and my dad, Dennis.
Dennis Sr.: Hi there!
Rainbow: Welcome, Gianni.
Jennifer: Here. I'll take your coat. Have a seat.
Tumblr media
Gianni: This food tastes amazing! You did a great job, J, Mrs. B.
Jennifer: Thanks, Gianni. I'm glad you like it.
Rainbow: Thank you. I'm guessing you don't have home cooking a lot with your parents away.
Gianni: Yeah, my mom wasn't much of a cook, but I can't complain. Always ate good.
Tumblr media
Dennis Sr. laughs: I'm sure you did! I can't imagine food cooked by Royal chefs is all that bad!
Gianni chuckles: Yeah, it's alright.
Rainbow: And what about your dad's side? You know before he... went to jail.
DJ: Someone's been doing their homework...
Jennifer: Mom...
Tumblr media
Rainbow: What? I'm just trying to get to know him. Isn't that what we're here for?
Gianni: It's okay! Really. I'm an open book.
Rainbow: Good. Because I read this article. Let me pull it up. Ah "New Flavor of the Week: Gianni Spotted with 5th Girl this Month." I'd love for you to be open about that.
Tumblr media
Jennifer: Please excuse my mother. You don't have to answer these questions if you don't want to. You know I don't care about that kind of stuff.
Gianni: No, I don't want anyone to have any doubt about me. Yes, I used to... date around. You know, young, single, wealthy guy in Del Sol.
Rainbow: And what about now? Is Jennifer the new flavor of the week?
Tumblr media
Gianni: No. Jennifer isn't a flavor. She's more like an enhancer. She makes everything better, including me. She's more than what I need or deserve. I'm really lucky to have her.
Jennifer: Aw, thanks, Gianni.
Rainbow: Mhmmm. Good answer.
Tumblr media
DJ: That was smooth, man. I'm taking notes.
Rainbow: Maybe you should be taking notes, so you can finally bring home one of these ladies you keep talking about!
Laughter
DJ laughs: Why you keep coming for me, Ma?
Tumblr media
Jennifer: Don't worry! We know your time is coming, DJ! But it might help if you left this house.
Dennis Sr.: House? Try his room!
Laughter
DJ: Alright, I'm eating upstairs.
Tumblr media
Dennis Sr.: Well, it looks like you survived the interrogation portion of the evening, son. Now we've moved on to the roasting portion. You still interested in being involved with this family?
Gianni: Well... I imagine I can't take a roast to seriously from a family who still has their Halloween decorations up for some reason? It's nearly Spring!
Laughter
Jennifer: And they are so tacky, too!
DJ: The tackiest!
Rainbow: Tell that to that big hat you're wearing at the dinner table!
Laughter

The Shivadh Romances: Volume I is now available for sale!
This book collects the first three novels in the “Shivadh” romance novel series, and is available in epub, paperback, and special-edition hardback.
Askazer-Shivadlakia is “the little country by the sea” — a coastal micronation perched between France and Italy, with Europe’s only Jewish royal family and a distinctly queer-friendly culture. The irreverent but earnest Shivadh people have recently elected a new king, and there are a lot of changes afoot for the country and its rulers.
Fete For A King introduces Crown Prince Gregory, who needs both a husband (sooner rather than later) and a caterer for his coronation. He wasn’t expecting American celebrity chef Eddie Rambler to want either job, but it looks like Eddie’s applying for both. The sequel Infinite Jes follows Gregory’s father Michaelis into retirement; he was just looking for a new hobby, and instead encounters broadcast journalist and nonbinary icon Jes Deimos. They might be more than Michaelis bargained for, and vice versa, but each might also be what the other needs. And The Lady And The Tiger finds Lady Alanna Daskaz visiting Galia, a nearby micronation that claims she’s the heir to their throne. She and her best friend Jerry, Duke of Shivadlakia, are going to have to figure out how to get her out of this -- and maybe figure each other out along the way.
Read all three in a single volume!
Buy in ePub | Buy in Paperback | Buy in Hardback
Or if you’re interested in reading each novel individually, you can learn more about them and find purchase links here.
Due to some pricing foorarah, I can’t price the paperback or hardback editions of The Shivadh Romances: Volume I any lower than they are, despite the fact it pays me honestly more revenue than I’d prefer. To compensate, $5 from each paperback purchase and $10 from each hardback purchase will be donated to 826 National, supporting young writers, and the American Civil Liberties Union, supporting civil rights such as abortion access, safe voting, and a range of rights and protections for LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Chapter 360: An Evening at the Palace
Lady Helena Reynolds entered the drawing room next to Princess Jessica, finally relaxing a bit after being so nervous at meeting the reigning monarch and his wife.
Tumblr media
“Dinner was wonderful, your royal highness,” Lady Helena said as she walked next to Princess Jessica into the lounge adjacent to the family dining room. “Please extend my compliments to your chef. It was a true delight.”
Tumblr media
“I’m sure Monsieur Tremont will appreciate your kind words,” Jessica replied as they sat down. “He so rarely has the opportunity to challenge himself anymore. Growing older, Stephen’s tastes – and I must admit, my own, as well – are fairly simple, so I know he was excited to have a visitor to impress.”
“Well, he certainly did so,” Helena replied. “It’s been such a lovely evening I almost wish it wouldn’t end.”
Tumblr media
“Such flattery,” Stephen said, smiling. “Though, I must admit, I’ve truly enjoyed myself as well. Michael has brought young ladies home before – but none have been quite as lovely as you.”
Helena dropped her gaze, nearly blushing.
“So how are you finding life in the city?” Jessica asked. “It must be quite a change from Hemingford.”
Tumblr media
“It is,” Helena replied, “though, having spent so many years in Paris after my parents passed, Hemingford was more of an adjustment than Weston. While I enjoyed the peace and beauty, there were times it seemed a bit more bucolic than I might have preferred. At least, until Michael arrived.”
Tumblr media
“Of course,” Stephen replied. “Which leads me to my next question. Do you two plan on going public with your relationship?”
“Stephen!” Jessica snapped as Helena dropped her gaze nervously. “That’s none of our business!”
Tumblr media
“It is very much our business, my dear,” Stephen said. “If they are serious about this relationship, going public will be a much better option than being found out by the press. Believe me, I learned that lesson with Michael’s mother.”
Tumblr media
“That may be, father,” Michael said, crossly. “But I would appreciate you allowing us to determine the next phase of our relationship. When we’re ready to go public, we will – but no amount of pressure from you or the press will push us into it.”
“Suit yourself,” Stephen said. “But I won’t be around forever, Michael. It’s time for you to start thinking about your future. That means a wife and a family. The monarchy requires stability, and it’s your responsibility to provide it.”
Tumblr media
“I think we’re all getting ahead of ourselves,” Jessica said, trying to de-escalate the conversation. “Michael and Helena have only recently begun seeing one another. I think there’s plenty of time for them to decide how they want to move forward.”
“Perhaps,” Stephen said, standing. “I apologize if I’ve overstepped. If you’ll excuse me, I should turn in before I say anything more.”
Tumblr media
“Father, you don’t have to ….” Michael began.
“Goodnight baroness, Michael,” Stephen said. “I’ll see you upstairs, my dear.”
After Stephen’s departure, the room was silent for a moment.
Tumblr media
“Mother, what the hell is going on?” Michael asked quietly. “This behavior is extreme – even for him.”
“I’m not sure, but I intend to find out,” Jessica said. “Now, as far as you two are concerned, I hope you’ll ignore my husband’s comments. Michael, why don’t you show Helena the gardens. They’re actually quite lovely at night.”

Ascendance of a Bookworm (29) Part 5 Volume 8 Chapter 1
This translation is not supposed to replace the official releases of the light novel series and is purely made for my own entertainment. Please purchase the official light novel when it becomes available!
Joining forces
After finishing my discussion with Dunkelfelger and discussing the treatment of Justus and Eckhart with Sylvester, I left Sylvester's office and joined Cornelius, Hartmut, and Lieseletta. Since I wasn’t feeling confident yet that I would be able to walk swiftly with the elegance expected of a young lady, I formed my highbeast and got in. We were in a hurry.
"I have secured Dunkelfelger's assistance. We are leaving tonight.” I declared, before asking, “Oh, and before I forget, do you know what became of the archducal family meeting?"
Cornelius nodded and quickly explained, “Florencia required all the attendants and knights in attendance to sign a magic contract that prohibits them from further spreading the confidential information you accidentally spilled in the spur of the moment. As people were signing the contract, we received an ordonnanz from Aub Ehrenfest relaying that you secured Dunkelfelger’s assistance and would be leaving for Kirnberger at midnight and that he would be leaving for the Royal Academy at once. I presume something else happened on your end?”
I nodded, "I shall explain the details later, but it's not bad news."
It would be foolish to discuss the arrival of Justus and Eckhart right here in the hallway. After skillfully preventing Cornelius from making any further inquiries with a smile, I turned my gaze to Hartmut, who was walking on my other side.
“Hartmut, please inform my guard knights to gather in my room at once.”
“I presume you wish to hold a strategy meeting?” Hartmut asked with a calm and collected face. “I have already contacted everyone. I informed them time is of the essence, so even those who were stationed at the temple should be arriving about now. I told Roderick and Philine to stay as they are.”
Somewhat taken aback by his efficiency, I involuntarily did a double take at Hartmut.
"...w-well done."
“I am glad to be of use to you, Lady Rozemyne.”
As Hartmut had predicted, everyone was already there when I returned to my room. However, it did not escape my eye that the knights who had rushed over from the temple still seemed slightly out of breath.
“Um, Lady Rozemyne. Hartmut informed us there was some kind of emergency…”
"Yes,” I said. “I know this comes rather suddenly, but I'm going to attack Ahrensbach’s foundation tonight.
"……excuse me?"
The situation had changed considerably since this morning. It was not something I could have predicted either, so their reaction was to be expected. I quickly explained the current situation to those who hadn’t attended today’s meeting. That Ferdinand lay collapsed in Ahrensbach’s replenishing hall, that Georgine would likely use this opportunity to invade Ehrenfest, that I would be going to Ahrensbach tonight to rescue Ferdinand, that I secured Dunkelfelger’s assistance with the help of Sylvester, and that Justus and Eckhart had arrived at the Royal Academy and would join us later.
There was no denying it, this was an emergency. As everyone's face tightened, I started giving instructions. There was little time until departure.
"First of all, for my attendants, I ask that Lieseletta and Gretia accompany me to my Library. Ottilie and Bertilde, please stay here and pack my highbeast-riding clothes, shoes, and any feystones and magic tools in this room I might need. Also, since I shall be taking dinner and a nap at my library, please arrange to move my personal chefs as well.”
“Lady Rozemyne, how many people shall be having dinner at the library tonight?” Ottilie asked. “I believe it would be wise to prepare extra ingredients as well……”
As I looked around and started counting, Lieseletta quickly stepped in.
“Ottilie, please pack as many ingredients as possible. I shall check with the chefs at the library. If it turns out we don’t have enough, I shall contact Lady Elvira. It seems Lord Eckhart shall be returning, so I’m certain she will be happy to cooperate."
Ottilie and Lieseletta had quickly divided the work between them. So, I moved on.
"When you are done, I would like you to assist Florencia, Charlotte, and Brunhilde to collect information and prepare for Georgine’s invasion.”
"Understood," Ottilie smiled. “Better not waste any time then”, and immediately got to work. Bertilde, yet unaccustomed to my reckless behavior, hurried after Otillie in a fluster.
“Then, Lady Rozemyne,” Lieseletta asked. “Would you like Gretia and me to go to the library and assist Lasfam with the preparations to receive our guests?”
"Yes, indeed,” I replied. “You are very perceptive, Lieseletta. Eckhart and Justus shall be having dinner with us and taking a nap as well. I will leave the preparations to you."
"Understood. Since there is little time, we shall go ahead,” Lieseletta said, then added, “Oh, and please don’t accidentally send all your retainers off on errands. Be sure to keep a guard knight to accompany you to the library.” before leaving the room with Gretia.
"Hartmut and Clarissa, I would like you to distribute the magic tools and rejuvenation potions you have made so far, and after that..." I began, but I was interrupted by Clarissa.
"Please rest assured!” she enthusiastically declared. “We have prepared enough magic tools and rejuvenation potions to last us. So, we can leave at any time. Once we have distributed everything, Hartmut and I shall take turns to take a nap."
Setting aside Clarissa, a scholar of the sword from Dunkelfelger, it surprised me that she thought Hartmut would be included as a member of our invading party as a matter of course.
“It will be difficult for you to manage the magic tools and potions loaded inside your highbeast by yourself,” Hartmut pointed out. “Even more so if you wish to distribute them to Dunkelfelger as well. So, please allow me to tag along, so you may focus on rescuing Lord Ferdinand."
"...I appreciate the offer,” I replied. “But I do not believe this battlefield is a place for scholars to go." As I folded my arms and slightly tilted my head, contemplating whether he would do all right on the battlefield despite lacking any ditter experience, a smile appeared on Hartmut’s lips.
“Oh, do you truly believe that to be the case, Lady Rozemyne?” he asked in an amused tone. “Aren’t you an archduke candidate and a scholar apprentice yourself?”
"Ugh... Time is of the essence, if you slow us down, I will leave you behind!” I declared in frustration, unable to argue with him.
Hartmut smiled calmly in response, “That won’t be a problem since I will be riding inside your highbeast, Lady Rozemyne, to manage the magic tools.”
"Just leave it to us!” Clarissa proclaimed. “…I suppose it’s time to fully demonstrate my true strength. I have traveled from Dunkelfelger to Ehrenfest without rest once before!"
……NOOOO! That’s not something to be proud of!
Since I wanted to increase our stock of antidotes as much as possible before departure, I decided to let Hartmut and Clarissa do as they wanted and sent them off to the library. Then, I looked around at the knights who would be accompanying me to Ahrensbach.
"Laurenz, since you are still a minor, you have a choice,” I said. “Would you prefer to come with me or stay here?"
“I have given my name to you, Lady Rozemyne,” he stated with a bitter smile. “Please do not leave me behind.”
As if on cue, Judith’s hand shot into the air, "I don't want to be left behind either!"
However, as things were, I could not give her permission to accompany me. Knight apprentices were not allowed to work outside the noble’s quarter to begin with. For my sake, Sylvester had made an exception and included the temple to be within their scope of action. He had also given permission to bring them along should I be visiting their birthplaces for work. However, invading another duchy was most definitely not on the list of allowances given.
"Judith, since this is an emergency situation, you will need your father's permission. I cannot bring a minor to fight a battle in another duchy without their parent’s approval.”
"Why! ... I will send him an ordonnanz at once, to get his permission!" Judith exclaimed with teary eyes, before rushing out of the room.
I took this opportunity to give orders to my guard knights.
“I would like all of you to take turns going to the knight’s dormitory to have dinner, take a nap, and prepare for departure. Damuel will be the only adult knight to remain in Ehrenfest.”
My guard knights gave Damuel a surprised look, then gathered to discuss their rotation schedule. Damuel was left to stand on his own. I softly tugged on his cape and handed him a sound-blocking magic tool.
"I want you to stay here, because there is something only you can do."
“Lady Rozemyne?” Damuel asked cautiously.
“Please protect my family,” I said. “They are more important to me than anything else in Ehrenfest. Georgine and her lackeys kept contact with the former high bishop. So, there is a chance she knows about my family and their whereabouts in the lower city. She may have realized they are my greatest weakness.”
If one carefully studied the circumstances surrounding my entering the temple, Charlotte’s rescue, my connections in the lower city, my choice of exclusive craftspeople, and my trends, it would be abundantly clear who were the most important people in my life. Considering that Georgine was planning to sneak into the temple and seize the foundation, as the high bishop, I was probably the biggest obstacle in her way. Objectively speaking, taking my family and the Gutenburgs hostage would be the most effective way to block any resistance on my side.
"Damuel, I cannot ask this of anyone else. You are the only one who knows. Please."
“Understood.” Damuel sighed. “… I made the same promise to Lord Ferdinand after all.”
"To Lord Ferdinand?"
As the question left my lips, Damuel gazed into the distance, presumably in Ahrensbach’s direction.
“Before he left for Ahrensbach, he told me I would become the only one who directly knew you from your shrine maiden days.”
Both Sylvester and Karstedt knew that I was a commoner as well, but when I was still an apprentice blue shrine maiden, we had only met face-to-face a few times, not daily. Even though Ferdinand had given them reports on my life in the temple, they likely did not fully understand how much I cared about my family.
“Therefore, he ordered me to protect your heart, Lady Rozemyne,” Damuel continued. “He also told me to keep tabs on Hartmut’s information-gathering activities, to keep him from stepping out of line. A truly unreasonable request, if you ask me."
Damuel looked down at me with a bitter smile. I suddenly realized his face was a lot closer than it used to be. Back in my shrine maiden days, our eye levels had been completely different.
......when we first met, I only reached up to Damuel’s stomach. I couldn’t look him in the eye unless he kneeled.
As the thought crossed my mind, Damuel kneeled before me. Rather than making eye contact, however, I could only see his brown hair.
"I suppose that as your guard knight, I should advise you that staying here in Ehrenfest is the safest option…" Damuel paused for a moment. Then he raised his head and looked me in the eyes. “Take care, Lady Rozemyne. Stay true to your desires and be sure to save Lord Ferdinand. May you have the blessing of the gods.”
"Thank you, Damuel. You are truly a knight of the finest sort."
As Damuel returned the sound-blocking tool and left the room, Cornelius gave me a curious look.
"Where is Damuel off to?"
“He is off to protect my most important things. Damuel is a guard knight too, after all,” I smiled. “Have you decided in what order you will take your naps?”
After confirming the knights' rotation, I headed to the library.
“Lady Rozemyne, I have been waiting for your return. I heard about Lord Ferdinand…”
As soon as Lasfam finished his greeting, he quickly came over to inquire after Ferdinand. He must have heard about it from my retainers who had arrived earlier. Anyone would get anxious upon hearing that their Lord was on the verge of death far away in another duchy, let alone a name-sworn retainer. Until now, I had rarely seen anything but a smile on his face, but today Lasfam’s expression was stiff, his green eyes betraying his inner turmoil.
“I understand your concern, Lasfam. However, I have obtained permission from Aub Ehrenfest to invade Ahrensbach to rescue him, and secured assistance from Dunkelfelger. I also expect Justus and Eckhart to arrive here by sixth bell."
As we walked toward my room, I inquired Lasfam about the status of the preparations.
“Are the guest rooms for Justus and Eckhart ready? The number of people eating dinner here has increased significantly, are there enough ingredients? Have the chefs arrived yet?”
As I rattled off my list of questions, Lasfam assured me the preparations were proceeding smoothly.
"I was hoping to have everything ready before they arrive,” I said, then added, “And if I inquire after the situation in Ahrensbach over dinner, that should leave sufficient time to prepare any additional things we may need.”
"Understood. I will have everything ready by sixth bell."
I noticed the tinge of unease had disappeared from Lasfam's voice. So, I added another task to the list.
“Also, if possible, please contact Eckhart and Justus’ family homes to see if any of their clothes are still left in Ehrenfest. I presume they did not have the chance to bring any.”
Lasfam nodded, “In that case, I shall prepare a change of clothes for Lord Ferdinand as well. He may need it.”
As I entered my room, Lasfam energetically walked off, his mind focused on what needed to be done. Since my retainers were all busy taking care of preparations, I knew I would only get in their way if I started wandering around. So, I decided to do what I could while staying in my room.
First of all, I sent an ordonnnanz to Brigitte in Illgner to inform her that it was highly likely that Ahrensbach would use Ferdinand’s incapacitation to invade Ehrenfest, and that Georgine was likely to operate in the shadow. I also told her about the silver cloth, requested she gather information from the commoners in their province, and reminded her to stay in close contact with the other Giebe.
“Grandfather is ready to provide backup at any moment. If you notice any irregularities at the border, contact us at once.”
Brigitte immediately sent a reply, “We received an ordonnanz from Lady Florencia earlier, but she didn’t relay nearly as many details. I would like to thank you for the additional and valuable information. We shall keep in contact with the other Giebe and ask our citizens to keep an eye out.”
Realizing that the Giebe’s of the border provinces hadn't received much information, I sent an ordonnanz to Florencia telling her, “Please share more details with the border provinces, and request Giebe Gerlach and Giebe Gardun to have their knights tighten their defenses.”
With the ordonnanzes taken care of, I entered my hidden room and searched the book of Mestionora for a map of Ahrensbach. I hoped to learn the location of the border gate and the temple. My efforts were rewarded, as I found a map of the duchy and the blueprint that was used to build the temple, thus learning everything I wished to know.
……it went through hell to get it, but I'm glad I did. It's amazingly useful! Thanks be to the Gods!
I copy-pasted the map and blueprint each onto a sheet of magic paper that Clarissa had prepared, thoroughly pleased with the results of my search. Understanding maps wasn’t exactly my forte. I always had trouble figuring out my current position and the location of my destination, but I was sure that at least one of my knights would be able to read it.
With high hopes, I searched for a blueprint of the castle too, so I might determine the location of its replenishing hall, but unfortunately, nothing popped up.  Since a castle’s floor plan would rarely be revised, about the only opportunity to see a blueprint of the entire castle was when Entwickeln was performed. Maybe it was in the part of the book that Ferdinand had?
“Seriously, why am I missing the most crucial information!?” I grumbled to myself.
There was no point in crying over it. Besides, Justus and Eckhart probably knew its location, so it didn’t really matter. So instead, I decided to copy-paste some magic circles that might come in handy.
After a while, the summoning tool glowed, indicating someone outside wished to speak with me.  As I exited my hidden room, Judith reported, “I was told to stay in Ehrenfest.” with a disappointed face. Considering a parent’s feelings, I hadn’t expected anything else.
"If you think that accompanying me to Ahrensbach is the only job expected of my guard knights, you are mistaken. It is also their job to protect the people important to me who I cannot bring with me."
"That's true, but..." Judith’s voice trailed.
Invading another duchy probably seemed like a spectacular job to a knight. The difference in mindset between Damuel, who was working hard on a humble job, and Judith could not be clearer.
“To allow me peace of mind, Damuel has promised to stay behind and guard my loved ones,” I said. “Judith, I want you to work with Damuel to protect the temple and the lower city. My Gutenburgs will be essential if I ever hope to expand the printing industry. They are indispensable to me. Tell yourself, “I shall not allow Georgine in.” Do not compromise on that determination as you protect the temple and Ehrenfest.”
Judith had good eyesight and specialized in ranged attacks. Stationing her at the temple, and having her attack with bug bombs, should give even a noble-born lady like Georgine a good scare. That silver cloth would not protect her.
"Understood,” Judith acceded. “I shall guard the temple.”
As I continued preparing as I saw fit, sixth bell rang. Soon after, Justus and Eckhart arrived. I immediately left my room to welcome them.
“Justus, Eckhart!”
"...L-Lady Rozemyne?"
Seeing me all grown up, Justus froze in place, left at a loss for words. Apparently, Sylvester had not informed them. However, unlike Justus, Eckhart quietly turned his blue eyes to me and softly murmured, “Rozemyne, is that you?” Then, immediately moved on and questioned me on the current state of our preparations.
……Eckhart certainly cares more about whether we can save Ferdinand and how far our preparations have progressed, than my sudden growth. No surprise there.
His lack of reaction was refreshing and reassuring.
“We have already prepared everything you just mentioned,” I told him. “I also acquired Dunkelfelger’s assistance, and we shall leave to rescue Lord Ferdinand tonight.”
“Just as I would expect from my little sister,” Eckhart replied. “It’s clear you were educated by Lord Ferdinand."
Hearing the honest praise and seeing the sparkle of hope in his eyes made me very happy. Eckhart only ever praised me whenever I was exceedingly useful to Ferdinand. In short, I was doing an amazingly good job right now.
"...Aub Ehrenfest said you have some kind of plan. Is that true?"
"Yes, brother,” I answered. “I do have a plan. And with you and Justus here, the odds of success have significantly increased."
My biggest worry was that I didn't know the location of the replenishing hall, but with their help, I should be able to get there without getting lost. Eckhart nodded in reply, “Good.”
“Eckhart, how can you completely ignore how much Lady Rozemyne has changed?” Justus asked, exasperated.
“I do not care how much she changes on the outside,” Eckhart answered. “As long as she still cares about Lord Ferdinand on the inside, I am good.” Showing no interest in the situation whatsoever, he walked over to Lasfam. In his hand, he held a metal cage containing a single name-swearing stone. I guessed it was probably Lasfam’s.
"Even then, doesn’t it intrigue you?"
Unlike Eckhart, it seemed Justus wanted to hear more details about my rapid growth. His brown eyes were gleaming with curiosity, and he started squirming in place. He clearly wanted to know more, but was unsure how to broach the subject in our current state of emergency.
"Lady Rozemyne, what happened to your body?” Justus eventually asked. “I have never heard of anyone growing that much in such a short period of time, and into such a beautiful young lady not to mention."
As Justus slowly approached me, Hartmut slipped between us, saying, "I am glad you asked." His orange eyes were gleaming with anticipation, sending a shiver down my spine.
"I doubt anyone other than Lady Rozemyne shall ever be bestowed the privilege of a miracle like this. It proves beyond a doubt how truly blessed she is by the gods. This was a miracle granted by Anwachs, the god of growth! Please allow me to explain in great detail the workings of this wonderful miracle."
“Certainly, but do stop when Justus gets tired of listening," I said.
I expected even Justus would soon get tired of Hartmut. He was in the habit of looping same-sounding compliments and overreferencing the gods, making his explanations hard to understand. In fact, my closest retainers kept dismissing him, saying, "No thanks, you already told me that before.”
……unfortunately, their evasions only motivate him to come up with new ways to express his excitement, infinitely increasing the number of unnecessary compliments.

I DID THE THING
THE FIRST PART OF IT ANYWAY
LEMME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK
Should a nine year old, let alone a nine year old dragon prince, be sneaking out and running through the streets of castle town without supervision during the middle of festival season? Probably not, but Link didn’t really care. That was the point, actually. He’d been stuck in that tower for the last two years and he was sick of it. His parents worried for nothing. He’d be fine because Auntie Cia would never know he left. Nobody was going to recognize him: it has been two years since he was last seen by the public and he was growing rapidly. Besides, he was wearing the big blue scarf he stole from his dad’s closet like a cape. His wings were tucked safely beneath the soft fabric and out of sight.
As soon as he felt the fresh air on his face and the cobblestones beneath his feet, he took off running. He loved to run, and he’d missed it dearly. The tower was spacious, but it didn’t exactly come with much space to run. Giggling to himself, he bobbed and weaved through the crowds, just basking in the warmth and joy of it all. The music, the laughter, the people. He bought some spiced meat on a stick from a nice old lady who patted his head and told him he was a very smart young lad for counting his change so easily. It was the best thing he’d ever tasted, way better than anything the royal chefs ever made. Probably because this snack came with a heaping side of rebellion.
He’d been wandering aimlessly, munching on his treat, when he was suddenly pushed to the ground. His head came into contact with the stone street and tears sprang into his eyes. Big hands reached under his cape to his pockets. He screamed, terrified they would spot his wings.
“NO! Get away from me! Please leave me alone!”
It was pointless. These people didn’t care. They held him down and took his coin purse from him. That… wasn’t what he expected. He’d thought for sure they knew who he was. What he was. That he would be sold off to a circus or something like Auntie Cia always said would happen. That they might pluck his scales. But they… just wanted his money?
“Do you guys not have enough to eat?” He tilted his head to the side, confused. “Would you like to share my snack?” He went to hold up the uneaten half of his meat on a stick, only to realize it had fallen on the ground. Tears came to his eyes again. His snack was ruined.
He was too busy crying about the pain in his head, his ruined food, the fear of being discovered, and from being surrounded by strangers with dubious intent to notice that they had started jeering. One of them raised up a foot and was getting ready to step on him when another little kid ran up, shouting and brandishing a wooden sword.
You were small and your weapon was a child’s toy, but you clearly knew how to use it. With surprising agility and skill, you managed to compensate for their compatible lack of strength. You advanced, forcing the two thugs back with your glorified wooden stick. One of them opened their mouth to say something, but you cut them off.
“I’m a knight’s kid.” You glared, “as good as I am, how much trouble do you think you jerks would be in if I screamed for help?”
The thugs looked between each other, contemplated their life choices, and left.
“Yeah, that’s what I thought. Cowards. Hey, are you okay?” You turn to look at Link, who looks up at you with wide eyes. The pain in his head is almost forgotten. Almost. You’re really pretty and cool and strong and where’d you learn to fight like that???? He’s sure he must have stars in his eyes.
“Yeah. Yeah, I’m okay.” Link nods, but the action causes him to wince a little. He suddenly remembers his headache. You wince in sympathy and pull a small potion out of your bag. “My parents like me to keep these on hand in case of emergencies. Drink. It’ll make you all better!”
Link takes the potion and drinks it. It tastes awful, but he can feel its effects the second it’s on his tongue, so he downs the whole thing. You smile.
“There, see? All better.” You offer him a hand and help him stand up. “Where are your parents?”
He frowns, deciding what to say. “Uhhh… they’re at home. I’m by myself.” You nod, considering that.
“This part of town is dangerous. You shouldn’t be here if you don’t know how to fight.” You return your toy sword to its toy sheath at your waist as you speak. “C’mon, I’ll take you back to the festival. I take it you’re not from around here.”
Link has the sense not to answer that as he follows you back to the festival. The two of you pass through a crowd and Link slips his hand into yours. You look at him, surprised.
“My parents always say that I have to hold hands in big crowds so I don’t get lost.” You chuckle and swing your joint hands between the two of you as you walk.
“Well, you don’t have to worry about getting lost as long as you’re with me! I swear I’ll protect you… uh. Shoot! I totally forgot to ask your name! I’m y/n.”
Link smiles at you, “I’m Link.” He answered without thinking. He hopes you won’t figure out he’s the prince. He doesn’t think you’d do something so mean, but he really doesn’t want the first friend he’s had in two years (except Falcon, his pet eagle) to try to sell him off for his scales.
You beam back, “well, Link, I, y/n, hereby swear to protect you from all harm that might come your way! You can trust my word because knights always keep their word, and I’m gonna be one someday! Just you wait!”
Link lets you gently tug him through the festival. They stop at most of the game stalls, which he insists on paying for with the coin pouch you returned to him. He stops suddenly at one stall, an archery game. He’s staring at one of the prizes: a pair of matching necklaces, each shaped like half of the triforce. It looks like the two charms connect to make a whole triforce shape. It’s cute.
“You want that, Link?” You look at Link, smiling amusedly. Link nods.
“Yeah. I’m gonna try to win it!” He pays the person behind the booth and picks up a bow and six arrows. The prize he wanted was level four. Link would have to break four of the six glass bottles in order to win it. The problem with this was that he’d never held a bow before, which you could tell the second he picked it up. He struggled to even nock the arrow. You did your best to talk him through it without making him feel bad, but there wasn’t much you could do from behind the “safety line” the game master insisted you respect.
Link didn’t hit a single target. Tears sprang into his eyes again. “I… I’m sorry. I wanted to give you half so we’d have something to remember eachother by but I failed.”
Your heart breaks. You angrily reach into your wallet and pull out some money of your own, “want me to try? I’ve been taking archery lessons since I was old enough to hold a bow.”
Link shrugs, dejected, “I dunno. It seems impossible. That bow is so heavy.”
Before he’s done talking, let alone looks up, you have already stepped up to the shooting line. You lift the bow. “I see what you mean. This game is definitely rigged.” You glare at the man behind the booth.
You shake it off and nock your first arrow. This bow is heavier than you’re used to, but you’re bound and determined. You aim carefully, willing your arm to stop shaking from the strain. Your first arrow misses. “Gah! Fudgesicles!” You’d heard your parents and the other knights saying that when stuff went wrong. It felt good.
The second arrow missed, but it grazed the side of the jar. You grin to yourself; you’ve figured it out. The third, fourth, fifth, and sixth arrows fly. They all strike their intended target. You destroyed four jars, you get the fourth-level prize. With a petty grin to the gamemaster, you took the two half-triforce necklaces from him. Your expression softened as you handed both necklaces to Link. He pushes one of them back toward you, his expression morphing from awe to confusion and hurt.
“No. I wanted to share.” You grin again, amused as you turn around.
“Mhmm. That’s the plan. Help me put it on?”
“Oh.” Link says, dumbly, as he clasps the necklace around your neck for you. You turn back around and smile at him.
“Your turn. Turn around.” He complies and you help him into his necklace.
Beaming, the two of you run around the festival. You dance for a while, try some new snacks, and play a couple more games. Link’s face lights up like a fireworks show when he tries cotton candy. You’re astounded he’s never had it before. Itś not like itś hard to come by, and his family is clearly wealthy judging by his clothing. You give him a bit of a sideways glance, but decide not to question it. He’s sweet enough and seems harmless. That, and nothing bad’s gonna happen to him in such a large crowd. He could be a runaway or maybe he’s just not in the city much. Maybe his parents are strict and thought he was too young to attend such events before today? It didn’t really matter, anyway. You’d made a friend and you were having fun.
…you spoke too soon. You’d let go of his hand because the two of you were jumping around in time to some music. Everything was fine until the royal guard showed up in a huff. They were asking a lot of strange questions, but you couldn’t really hear them. You recognized Sir Jack, the Nimble and Quick. He was nice to you, mostly. Sometimes he gave you little treats, but usually he didn’t seem to know what to do with you. You were so distracted trying to figure out why Sir Jack was even there — he was a member of Queen Cia’s guard, and he rarely was sent away to complete tasks — that you didn’t notice your friend had gone missing. You ran up to Sir Jack and hurriedly explained you’d made a friend but he’d gotten lost, and this was probably your friend’s first time out at a festival. Sir Jack just patted your head and said he’d have the other knights keep an eye out. You were still worried, but there was nothing you could do about it. Sir Jack brought you home and stayed to talk to your parents. You tried to eavesdrop but they were in the other room and they weren’t speaking in the common tongue. Your Hyrulean wasn’t bad, by any means, but Sir Jack’s accent was funny and he spoke fast. You caught your name, a word that sounded suspiciously like “Prince,” and “friend.” He sounded worried. Whatever it was he was talking about with your parents, he stressed it had to remain top secret.
What in the world was going on?

Event story - Chapter 3 (Grateful days)
Tumblr media
>> part 4
Emma sits in the sunlight while eating the food everyone has prepared for her. In the meantime, the Gourmet area is bustling with people and matters to take care of: emergency orders, members of the royal family that want to see Oscar, etc. Emma cannot help but worry, and Kuchen laughs at her, saying that she has an occupational disease (note: as in that she’s addicted to working). Still, though he understand where she’s coming from, for the time being she should just relax and savour the box. Then he leaves, saying he will be back soon and passing the escort baton to Caprice.
Suddenly, Emma hears someone breathing heavily just behind her, and when she turns-
Tumblr media
Jin: Master… (TN: he calls her Goshujin-sama lol). I’ve been thinking too much about Master, and now I’m…!
Emma: (Those feverish eyes… oh no, he’s about to go out of control!)
Jin: I’m starving… I’m starving so much I cannot bear it. Please fill me up quickly! (TN: bruh💀) With that food and your existence…!
Adel steps in, yelling at Emma to put the sake in his mouth as he throws her the bottle. (TN: GUYS THE AUDIO OF THIS SCENE IS CRAZY THIS GUY IS JUST WHIMPERING AND MOANING IT’S SO-). When Emma forces the alcohol down his throat, Jin comes back to his senses. Adele approaches him and with a not-so-happy tone asks him if he has the time to sell oil in a place like this. Jin tries defending himself, but to no extent. Adel asks him if just this is the extent of the feelings he’s been holding back. Jin apologises profusely, and though Emma says this scene is very familiar, she’s still no clue of whatever is going on right now.
Adel brushes off her concerns and starts staring at her.
Tumblr media
Emma starts panicking internally, wondering if there’s something wrong with her clothes; after all, the ones she’s wearing were designed by her grandma, so maybe they look worn or out of fashion- The moment she starts explaining herself, Adel stops her, telling her her clothes fit just fine. Those colours represent “maturity” and “confidence”, and now that he’s familiar with her, he admits that they’re good on her.
Adel: We met exactly at the right moment. Though in that sense, maybe you could say it’s Jin’s doing. Anyway, if you’re free, come to the Central hotel later, I’ll be waiting. Let’s go, Jin.
The two of them go on their way, leaving a very confused Emma behind. Suddenly, she hears loud cheers coming from somewhere.
Tumblr media
Chell is promoting the meisters’ wine, and Feld scolds him for drinking it himself. All the guests are enjoying the wine, and when they ask Feld if he has any other recommendations, he yells that he has no idea! Oscar simply told him this wine was delicious, that’s all!! Emma approaches, asking if they’ve been helping out the staff. Chell says that after all, this event is done to show their gratitude to the Lady, and… he also gets to drink like this.
Though the place was already crowded, more and more people start showing up. Most of the staff is made of master chefs, meaning that they’re not really used to big crowds such as this. Everyone is busy, and things are also starting to get out of hand, too. Unable to sit still, Emma walks behind one of the stalls and uses the Key to summon Fidel. Together, they quickly prepare numbered tickets to manage the crowd. Things get slightly better, but the wave of people is still overwhelming. As she’s about to dive back in the chaos, other guildkeepers decide to join, too.
The Gourmet area finally regains its composure. Cuit feels sorry that Emma has had to step in to help. Fidel scolds him, claiming that it is outrageous to bother a young lady while claiming to entertain her.
Tumblr media
Walter thanks her for saving them, and Emma replies that such a matter can only be dealt with by everyone cooperating together. Someone laughs, and when Emma turns, she finds Kuchen trying to stifle his laughter.
Kuchen: I wasn’t making fun of you. I was just thinking that you’re really you. (TN: wow, modern poetry thank you king👏)
Kuchen: Good work. Thank you.
Tumblr media
While saying so, Kuchen pats Emma’s head with his warm hand.

kisses, sailor moon
Ahhh i love sailor moon =///3///=
Kisses-
He'd kissed her a few times, before he'd really looked at her.
He was a prince, Prince Endymion of Earth. It was customary to kiss the hand of every well-bred lady he met. Princesses, duchesses, noble ladies of the court... he kissed every one of their hands, and never looked up.
Perhaps it was callous to admit it, but it was true.
Kissing a hand, bowing low, and giving an elegant greeting, it was just customary. Just a "Princely Duty."
But it was after he'd kissed her hand, surely several times, the Endymion finally looked up.
He had taken her hand, and had been about to drop a polite kiss on the knuckles when he'd spotted little red stains on her fingertips. He'd paused, but carried out the kiss, picking up the scent of strawberries, and then looked up.
Princess Serenity, was not looking at him, but her eyes were cast to the left, avoiding her mother's stern gaze.
There was grass in her hair, as well as on her dress. And there was a suspicious red stain at the corner of her mouth... and her left cheek bulged slightly like she was pocketing something in her cheek.
Startling his parents, Queen Serenity, and no doubt, Princess Serenity, Endymion looped an arm through the girl's arm, and announced, "Since you've come to visit our palace on Earth, let me show you the gardens."
Her mouth, surely too full, the Princess nodded her consent.
He quickly led her away from both their parents, though his guards and her guardians followed a polite six paces behind. Still, they were as alone as they could be, and when he was sure they were out of sight of their parents, Endymion whispered, "...Did you already treat yourself to something from the garden?"
Princess Serenity blushed from head to toe, and swallowed what he suspected was a mouth full of strawberries.
She cleared her throat, and lifted up her chin, a young lady full of pride.
But she looked up at him, with big blue eyes, and surprised him with a whispered, "I've never seen strawberries growing naturally in a place before, let alone a palace garden! I could not help myself!"
Charmed, Endymion asked, "Did you see the raspberries?"
She put the other hand on his forearm and squeezed, a genuine grin flashing on her face, "You have raspberries?"
Endymion smiled, enjoying the simple pleasure of having a conversation that felt... free of diplomatic and royal expectations, "I'll show you... but we have to be careful. If we're caught, I think we might land in some trouble."
Princess Serenity put a finger to her lips, "I won't speak a word! And next time you visit the Moon Kingdom, I'll show you moon cakes in the kitchen! The chefs always hide the best ones with them!"
He grinned, wildly thinking he'd like to seal the deal with a kiss.
Instead, he tugged her towards the family garden, intending to get the know the Princess better, so that maybe one day, he could kiss that sweetly smiling mouth.

Personality: Earnest and altruistic. Sometimes called "Too nice" and "Too caring" as he is just an all around nice guy. Loves to help out anyone and brings random food gifts to friends all the time to make me feel special. Attempts to be flirty with the ladies but often fails. Has a big jock type vibe given he is a big guy.
Fun Facts: Adam is from The Undergrove Kingdom of Fields which is also called "The Food Kingdom". It's the one that provides the majority of food, food ingredients, etc all the food to the other kingdoms of the Artisan Circle alliance.
Big eater this big guy is as it's practically been part of his life. He believes a lot of things should be celebrated by eating food with friends, family,or alone. Treat yourself! Expect to get some randomly for doing something not that noteworthy as he will think it is.
He is too nice but is a tad sick of hearing that. He doesn't see it as a bad thing but wonders why others do. His servants do not allow him to carry money or valuables on him as before his nice behavior made him give money to someone who was just using him. Often he does get taken advantage of sadly.
Training very young to defend himself as an attempt was made on his father's life. The Undergrove kingdom is targeted for crime due to people wanting to steal food often. Some feel they have too much power having control of the most food resources. Adam is skilled with swords but more so daggers.
One if not his only weakness is women. He just likes how beautiful they are,how strong they are,and cool things he reads about in books. He is a woman respecter big time. He tries to flirt all the time but seems to attract more of the type that use him and leave then ones who really like him. He also shows this side towards men like Ivy who is effeminate but not a female. He may just be attracted to femininity in general but he doesn't understand all that he just thinks Ivy is as beautiful as a woman despite not being one.
Adam is not the type of guy you befriend if you're up to no good. He doesn't tolerate such behavior from friends. Often he will just advise and try to steer you on the good path of things. He won't force it but if made clear your not going to change ways he will distance himself from you but still check in.

So while I'm still working on my Day 3 entry for KLAW (I'm just going to call it "The Bread Fic" for now), I thought I'd introduce 2 OCs that I've created specifically for this fic.
It's a mini fic in the "Eleanor's Kitchen" series, that follows Liam and his mum and their friends through many culinary adventures!!
The mini-fic (which I'm still writing haha) will focus on Liam's bond with the two head palace chefs, Chef Anais Martí and Pastry Chef Hitoshi Luno. I hope to get that fic out soon but in the meantime, here are some HCs!!
Chef Anais Martí
Tumblr media
(FC: Concha Buika)
• Head Chef of the Royal Palace of Cordonia
• Runs her kitchen like a well-oiled machine
• I mean seriously, kings and queens may come and go in the throne room, but the Palace Kitchens are her kingdom and she will never let you forget that!! Especially if you're royalty!
• She hails from Emeric, a county in the Foundries that houses a substantial Catalan-Spanish population who migrated there in the 1700s. It is said that the Foundaries overall are the one place in Cordonia that have mastered molecular gastronomy, but Emeric has chefs that do both that and some rustic homestyle cooking too.
• Anais is very good at molecular gastronomy. She just won't do it.
• A lot of her signature dishes have an Afro-Catalan influence.
• She worked as a line cook in one of the Capitol's premier restaurants when she was very young, and worked her way up. Word of her incredible chef skills and versatility made her a favourite choice to head the palace kitchens when the former Head Chef had to retire. Prince Constantine was in his late teens then.
• She has very few memories of Queen Agnes, Leo's mother, because she seemed uncomfortable with anyone in the palace in the brief time she was there. Queen Eleanor and Queen Regina are perfect contrasts to that in different ways - Eleanor was very involved and would chat often with Anais - in fact the suggestion for a private kitchen came from Anais because honestly - she could see the passion in Eleanor for cooking and released she needed her own space. Queen Regina she values because she gets involved the way you would expect a queen to be involved, and also trusts Anais' judgement.
• Undoubtedly she has the softest soft spot for Prince Liam, since the moment he stole a slice of wedding cake to give to his brother during a punishment.
Pastry Chef Hitoshi Luno
Tumblr media
• Compared to Anais, Hitoshi is a more recent addition to the Palace Kitchens.
• He hails from the Fire Tribes. They have a strong connection to different cultures - Japanese, Romani and at a later stage, Ethiopian. The first and the last also have connections to volcanoes which helped them assimilate into the Fire Tribes better.
• An ancestor of his IS Anton Luno.
• And like this ancestor - he is dumbfounded by the greasiness of some of the food from the Capitol, but has to admit it is addictive.
• His Japanese origins do show a lot in his baking!
• No one crazier for red bean paste in Cordonia than Hitoshi Luno! Surprisingly, his preparations have gotten Constantine to love it and to demand delicacies made from it every day.
• The Fire Tribes were well known for their hunting and cooking with game meat. But there is a section of people who have developed cuisines and culinary knowledge from the people who have migrated there in the latter centuries. Ethiopian honey wine, for instance, took a while to gain any popularity in the province because the inhabitants deemed it too sweet, but they grew to love it. Hitoshi's mother brews some every Christmas.
• When he found out about Lady Hana's love for tea - and knowing she was just (symbolically) disowned from her home - he sent across a sumptuous green tea and honey ice cream "with compliments from the chef". He knows via secondhand information that the teas she has tried are mostly Chinese, but she did like some of the matcha themed stuff the kitchen put out!
• Anais mothered him literally from the minute they were introduced, and it has stayed that way ever since. Hitoshi has caught himself complaining "Maaa! Not in front of the staff!!" several times.
