saiki is a total collector. he loves to collect shit. he has an island he teleports to sometimes that is full of merchandise and different things and theyre all catagorized.
he especially likes collecting fossils. something about the mortality of it all is strangely fascinating and comforting to him. he hopes that one day someone appreciates his species fossils as he appreciates others.
rambled in tags just a bit but i think its a fine addition

A recent thift store find, a shell jewellery box! <3 I’m not sure if the shell on the outside is real or not, because of the crackle effect, but it does look a lot like abalone shell. It does also feel colder than room temperature, which is a sign it could be real shell, but I’m not sure.
The shell that it’s framed over is real though, but I’ve covered it on the inside with dark green corduroy, since it had old pen markings on it that wouldn’t come off, and I figured it could use some padding to avoid scratching what I put in it. And now that it has fabric lining inside, it makes a nice low, muffled clack sound when it closes, kinda like the closing sound of a fabric ring box ♡(˶^◡^˶)♡
I took a picture next to one of my abalone shells for comparison, as well as with the grey pearl necklace I made a while ago, since I thought they all looked good together ❀˚₊·⋆。
