Our friends then jokingly said we should kiss, and we went “why not” and did. Our friends took a couple pictures, and later that night we added them to a shared album of all our prom photos.

In the days after prom, we all planned what pictures we wanted to post on Instagram together. We all posted on our main accounts, but Lily and I decided we wanted to make funny/casual posts on our private spam accounts along with the posts on our main ones. Lily’s spam post ended up containing the picture of me and Hope kissing (with our permission ofc), and I decided that I wanted to post it on my spam too (again with permission). However, I was a bit worried about posting it solely because I have a couple people added on my spam that Hope dislikes.

Specifically, I am “friends” with a guy from Hope’s old school who was a toxic friend to her. I met him a while before I met her, so I didn’t know he was awful until many months into mine and Hope’s friendship. I don't really want to be friends with him anymore after everything Hope told me, but I have no way to drop him because we have a lot of mutual friends. We also share a lot of common interests and frequent the same places in town, so we run into each other at stores or events sometimes. However, Hope told me not to worry about it and that it’d be funny for him to see someone who he considers a friend be kissing someone he hates.

We then decided on a phone call that I would post the photo as its own post with the caption “is it gay to kiss your friends”, and put a popular lesbian song on the post, then refuse to give context to anyone asking. About an hour after making the post, however, the guy messaged me in shock asking when I’d gotten a girlfriend and asking who she was. (This wasn't asked out of him having an interest in me btw, he is gay and has a boyfriend). I told Hope and Lily, and we decided that Hope and I were going to keep up a fake dating bit in order to lie to him.

We have since made a fake anniversary post on our stories and have been planning out a whole backstory for our “relationship” to make it sound believable. We plan to keep this bit up for as long as possible solely for the point of pranking this guy, which we all think is a little bit mean, but he was a horrible friend to her and we don’t really feel bad for lying.

I know you technically made it, but fuck it, talk about CPU Kerfuffle for the ask game

CPU Kerfuffle has been a godsend for me. When it started to really hit its stride, it was at a point in my life where I thought I had reached a sort of creative dead end. I was so scared that I had burned myself out completely, and all that was left was to ask “okay, so now that I’m done doing creative stuff, I guess I just….work for the rest of my life to stay alive?”

And CPU Kerfuffle really showed me that the creative spark will never truly die. Did I have some big projects planned? No. Did I have a big mashup album cooking or Go! Child stuff, or any of the things I had been wanting to accomplish? No. And yet, here I was. Myself and hundreds of others live were so invested over this weird story I had strung together over a bunch of CPU’s fighting. So much so that I’d even made an enormous mashup to honor that. (That’s why I was choked up during that part of CPUK 20)

While the emotion obviously isn’t as strong, I feel the same way about NCCT. I haven’t had a CPUK stream in forever (and frankly, I’m not 100% if I will), but through a silly little Discord RP thing, something where I don’t even care about there being a small audience, I can feel that creative fulfillment, and release that creative energy, which has been leading me to write some of the best stories I’ve ever written.

It makes me happy.

step by step:

firstly find the color code you want here

now create a new post > configuration button in the top right corner > text editor > change rich text to html

TTPD (and rep?) Theories

Come with me as I clown and theorise some things.

1. Ok, let’s start off with some things that I’m actually quite sure of (maybe?). I am fairly positive that the music video released at 8pm EST, will be fortnight. And maybe it will be the first single. Why you ask? Well-

Firstly, using the video she posted today as evidence the first scene is presumably her office. There we have a CD of midnights and four of the special addition vinyls. Midnights is her tenth album.

Now if we remember back to school, and that handy addition, four plus ten would be fourteen. Hence, a fortnight.

Next, on the planning board where she wrote the news we have fourteen tally’s beneath it. Need I say more?

2. Here comes some of my dicier theories. I think somehow four will be a factor in some way. I’m not exactly sure how, but it will. There are four versions of TTPD (the manuscript, the bolter, the albatross and the black dog), there were four stars on the notice board, and there were four cds. Now four and 2 seem to be commonly occurring. Which leads me to think, what if there was a double album release. I know people have said this before, and I’m probably delulu, BUT the cd nearest to the camera was black, you had to get through black before you got to the TTPD office. And it would tie in with no explanation just reputation.

Don’t ask me for dates, idk 😭. Something to do with 4 I guess?

The only solid theory I had was that it was related to the fortnight theory again. If the release date of rep tv was released 4hrs before or after or 4 days or gosh even the day of, and then it actually got released a fortnight later that would be 3/5 (or 5/3 for Americans), which is actually the age she’s turning this year, and it might tie up the fact that she’s getting back her reputation this year as she comes halfway through her thirties.

And also just a random thought, maybe 14 and fortnight is significant especially in this album, because 13 has always been her and her lucky number, and fourteen was plus Joe who was the extra 1, the 1 for her until she wasn’t.

That or there are four singles, or extra songs will come out at 4am EST or there’ll be 4 extra songs.

Will this come true? Who knows, that’s how I’m feeling about it ^^.
