just came across a fic where aithusia is still a dragon but is disguised? can shapeshift? into a human form (smol child) with merlin as her father and now i’m obsessed with the idea of this dynamic, so consider:

- dragonlords all have dragon forms. merlin has a dragon form

- dragons all have human forms. kilgharrah as a man, bitter and cryptic and scarred from the purge, angry for being chained. aithusia, a young child, bone-white hair flowing long over her shoulders. her arms bend wrongly at the joints and tiny, paper-thin scars cover her body, from her time with the sarrum of amata

- there’s a distinction between the magic of dragons and the magic of dragonlords. the markings of dragons are different. their eyes in human form are all amber-gold, something in their teeth not-quite human. dragonlords are the natural leaders of the dragons, often more powerful in certain magics, especially in human form.

- in books of magical creatures and sorcery, dragons and dragonlords are put side by side, but categorised separately, for the difference in their appearance and abilities in magic. the sketches all show men with a beastly shadow, enormous and scaled and expressions set equally angry.

- the dragons are all kin, so culturally they all have a responsibility over the young. this counts doubly for dragonlords, protectors of the dragons. this makes merlin the natural guardian of aithusia.

- merlin, after rescuing her from the sarrum, returns to camelot with a tiny, fragile girl in his arms, bundled in rough blankets. the only explanation he gives is my daughter before he’s pushing past arthur to take her to gaius, get her injuries seen

- alternatively, merlin approaches arthur asking for time off to go retrieve his daughter, the same way he asked it for his mother. he’s pale and shaken but there’s a steel in his expression that arthur doesn’t know what to do with

- also, merlin sired a child. his manservant.

- there’s about a million different magic reveals in this. too many to list, but the ideas are exploding in my brain. arthur, clocking on to the fact that aithusia is so obviously a magical child. arthur, heartbroken that merlin didn’t trust him. arthur, initially scared of what he sees as a beast. arthur, in awe of the dragon form, realising the power merlin has.

- the angst of merlin trying to hide her magic in camelot when she’s such a powerful child. the angst of him bringing her to camelot and revealing her existence to arthur only to immediately make plans to send her away to someone trusted, maybe hunith, and arthur doesn’t understand what he means by ‘she’s not safe in camelot’ until he does.

- gwen being so gentle with her. arthur being scared to break her. leon picking her up and letting her curl into the crook of his neck as he carries her back from somewhere she’s wandered off to.

- all the knights being doting uncles (most especially gwaine)

- arthur learning of what the sarrum did to her and why, and rethinking his stance on magic. arthur thinking of all the magical children killed too young, first tortured or persecuted. thinks of all the fear and grief they did not deserve to carry.

- merlin educating arthur on magic after the reveal. taking him to lessons with aithusia to teach her control of her magic, the pair of them watching her fly free in her natural form in the woods for a while. her injuries are healing, slowly, with the help of gaius and merlin’s magic.

- mordred, despite merlin’s suspicions, working hard towards earning trust he isn’t sure how he lost, and starting with proving he can be trusted with aithusia. he is, admittedly, really good with her and she loves him, so merlin can’t completely begrudge it. it leads to conversations that change all their fates.

- aithusia’s first language being the tongue of the old religion. the language of spells. she knows not to speak to avoid getting caught (merrlin tried his best to explain) but once, she slipped up around arthur. all of them freezing, even though arthur knows. the guilt he feels at her terror.

- kilgharrah’s anger at camelot manifesting again somehow. an attack of some kind. arthur being confronted with the question of the magic ban repeal and how to balance keeping his people safe from magic and reparations for decades of the oppression of magic users.

the fic that fuelled this is called The Darkest Dawn by spacegirl7 and quite a lot of the above takes elements directly from the fic, so definitely go read and check it out, it’s so good. i have been thinking about it and its premise for days.

Like with the Outers I almost NEVER draw the Starlights and partly fueled by Cosmos's debut (and listening to Starbow, the og Starlights) it ended up in these lol. some info below

so first off - for the AU the Starlights arrived to Earth searching for Kakyuu all the way back during the Doom Tree invasion, using them as discreet cover before establishing themselves as a music group to try to reach her, eventually starting to sing for themselves. Kakyuu for her part disguised herself as a young woman and has been living a normal life actively refusing to meet her guardians, half because she's very much enjoying the freedom of not having to be a princess 24/7 half because she hates that she's enjoying it when her planet is fucking dead. It's a few years before Galaxia comes tho so she has plenty of time to wallow in that pit, and when she does come she's ready to face her fears and actively fights them when they attack. She still avoids the Starlights out of guilt tho.

As for the designs I made them more sporty and more individualized as well as getting rid of the rattails lmao. Healer gets a braid that keeps the same idea, Maker just has short hair and Fighter has a mullet because they have the vibes of loving mullets. still Sailor Star Fighter, Sailor Star Maker and Sailor Star Healer but Kakyuu's now Sailor Kinmoku because I still don't know why she wasn't just called that from the beginning. The Starlights are in their base form, Kinmoku in their equivalent of Super (Blooming Sailor Kinmoku)

from what i got about them so far it turns out to be a slowburn process with kitty being surprisingly more involved than initially thought XD

some potential tidbits is that after the movie, maybe they saw death just talking casually with perrito, i think him and perrito could be besties, probably the quickest. perrito can surprisingly keep up with him and not put off by his morbid interests and of course death greatly respects his view on life, thus perrito shall be the first bridge (i do agree with the HC that death is potentially there when perrito is almost drowning but maybe perrito didnt remember much) puss might still be afraid a bit, kitty is rightfully wary of him and protective of other team friendship, some tidbits i had on them, other than talking about those obvious parallels, maybe kitty tries to sneak attack him or test him or stuff, just to make sure he's not here to harm and mess with any of her newfound family (at first yeah but later on when they got better they enjoy sparring with each other and they can have interesting banter where it seems like they can go toe to toe with each other...puss is definitely impressed and have mixed feelings...side note, perrito noticed their similarities) death and kitty is definitely gonna bond over their similarities, surprised at first, become more unnerving at how so in tune they are sometimes. death had to admit that for a cat, kitty had been very careful with her life unlike puss, and for kitty, death is definitely much sneakier than she thought, and maybe she feels challenged about that (they both can land on their feet but puss still cant XD so there's also that...or even make same expressions sometimes) and yes the similarities? even if they gonna quick to be besties in terms of deeper feelings going on they gonna bottle it up and not addressed it right away, and some point later i can see them having that moment like yondu and rocket in guardian of galaxy. the "I KNOW WHO YOU ARE, BOY!! BECAUSE YOU'RE ME!!!"line, especially and the "worst" part is this can go both ways XD as for puss' side, he could be still a bit scared and stuff, make sense but he'll slowly gonna reach out again after several "quests and shenanigans", and also seeing how he interact with others like kitty, perrito and other people who didnt earn his wrath some "quests" that i had in mind so far is the murder mystery at shrek's where his reputation is on the line and death is probably the only murder witness so puss really has to convince him to help them (as this should be happening early on maybe death still hestitates if he should get this involved with mortal affairs, but maybe puss' insistence on protecting shrek and fiona wins him over in the end). the challenge here is, that since death already give them the answer on who the murderer is, their job is now to gather convincing evidence .tho i also have a plan to have the culprit suspecting that they got a help from a witch during this trial (said "witch" is death, i thought will probably be ironic if after advertised as big bad wolf he disguised himself with magic as a seemingly frail, witchy grandma this time, like he's an old castle servant who's always been there since forever, especially since he should've known king harold's final moments) another possible idea after that is them all trapped in a gladiatorial arena and has to perform for the audience if they want to get out from there and another possible thing after that is team friendship ended up in possession of one of death's eye

now i'm still not sure how this could happen maybe he got caught up in battle (not with another mortal, potentially, but with other supernatural creatures, demons, vengeful ghosts, mythical creatures, what have you) so he has to distract this creature but entrust the eye to team friendship. i had in mind that here, they gonna encounter various baddies who are suspecting that team friendship got a hand on a powerful artifact and want it for themselves, or for riches, and one in particular wants the eye to destroy it because they think it's too dangerous for any mortal to possess it. obviously puss just want to protect the eye and return it to its rightful owner. tho the challenge is that they are the only ones who knows whom the eye truly belongs to, so sometimes when they talked with other villains, they dont have the same context death is definitely gonna be slowly more and more actively involved in the team friendships' journey as he started to enjoy and miss their companionship more and more as for the romance side, from puss i think it slowly developed after those several quests where they already relied and trust each other multiple times. some funny moments i had in mind is puss tries to hold his hand but he cant reach XD when flirting with death he flirts back but sometimes cant really tell if this is genuine or just him playing along because he thinks that no way this is gonna go far it will be fun seeing how the more romantic puss deal with....death (which in my HC is the farthest from it, he'd rather infodump you the secrets of the deep than giving you flowers for example) but there's gonna be adjustment as they cats slowly learn how to figure him out the cats will give him flowers later but it kinda started like, puss will wants to write a song about him (with kitty's help) and at some point they want to describe his striking eye color and got a bit stumped on what to compare it with , until puss saw a red poppy during one of their outings (he gave kitty a blue one!)

the thing with puss here probably, if this is the old him, he'd probably gonna brag about dating death, imagine how that would add to his resume! people are gonna hail his name! he will get even more legendary! but post movie puss has another worry that sometimes it's like he was handed this super powerful weapon that he knows now, that he's not strong enough to use it, so he can get overwhelmed at times. this is one of the issue they have to address eventually as for death he might also need some time to reconcile that there's actual people who want him around on their lives, and even those might know a lot of mortal's physical limits, probably need to catch up a lot in terms of their emotional limits here...and sharing vulnerability as well, definitely gonna need adjustment for someone who's too used living alone for too long (tho he's also probably not willing to tell them all possible secrets he think they're not supposed to know so there's also that, mostly to protect them) bonus : possible proposal scene(??) "we...want you to be part of our lives" "oh?..but i already am, i already am part of yours and everyone's lives" "...oh we don't mean it that way" "...what?" some of misc HCs death is sterile, there i said it, puss asked him if he can...reproduce one day (in his defense, he is high on catnip/super drunk) and death has to remind him that his job is to take lives when it ends , not to create them death can surprisingly be the team mom sometimes death associated sound of life with gurgling organs slooshing around in liquid...as for my "life HC"....it's...end up with a surprising connection here since i want my "life" to resides deep in the water...since life begins in the water after all (and maybe not as one particular specific animal either, but as a colony of marine organisms)

Life always make a noise, that's how you know something is out there Death is silent the cats are definitely gonna have opportunity to ask many kind of questions, some he will never answer, either because he's not comfortable for sharing it or it's just not for mortals to know, for their sanity's sake....some that he answered will make them unable to see some things the same way again these are what i have in mind for now, probably will get more later as i get more ideas, but so far, still stuck on the first quest with puss since that will need more than just one or two simple pics to explain

Decided to do a silly lil doodle of my favorite Dopple-trio! :D on the surface I feel like this'd be a daily occurrence. Kale is the most normal of the 3 of them, but I wanted to draw her and Paps having a cute lil conversation. (More ideas below the cut!!!)

Pretender regularly interacts with humans (his disguise slowly recovers, and he continues to mostly abstain from his old habits) and usually appears as "human" as long as he's out. Sometimes in public I feel like ppl would be willing to talk to him, and he's always quick to make it clear that to get to his family people would have to get past him. (Also I think in their neighborhood/town everyone gets increasingly confused because he regularly goes, "Yeah, that's my Kid" some days abd other days he's like, "That's my little sibling" and it's just that he's her guardian and the terms are kinda interchangeable because it's easier to use them than explain the whole situation lol)

Pretender also has no sense of fashion. He's always so close to a neat outfit then takes the wrong turn before he exits his closet lol.

Paps stays in skeleton form (at least for the first few years) even tho it's dangerous, because his human disguise is awful and makes K uncomfortable. Instead he trains genuinely with Undyne and Tender to properly figure out a human shape over about 4 years. Eventually he does have a human disguise, but he's contented in his monster form too.

K I can't say a lot for (beloved @oodlesndoodles is who designed/owns her!) But I'm pretty certain that she'd probably still wear her one monster-style outfit sometimes if only to show her solidarity with her family, or just to mess with people on the streets 🙏

Last Notes: Human!Pretender is one of my favorite blorbos ever to doodle! His hair texture is probably the most satisfying thing ever! Paps keeps miraculously looking good for this AU??? I don’t know if someone mentioned this before, but Fox in japanese means kitsune.

Now if we look at japanese folklore, kitsune are yokai (supernatural beings). They are intelligent and cunning beings, shapeshifters, who possess paranormal abilities.

Kitsune often reside at Shinto shrine, operating as guardian protectors of that shrine and nearby villages.

Often they are portrayed to have deep connections with their humans.

There are two groups of kitsune: zenko (benevolent kitsune) and nogitsune (malevolent kitsune)

The zenko are messenger of a god and are reincarnations of souls in the spirit world.

Nogitsune on the other hand serve no god, they feed on life force for their own sadistic amusement

What does this say about Fox?

Fox could very well be force sensitive, considering that kitsune have paranormal activities. Though he or anyone else probably doesn’t know of it. For him it’s just all gut feeling and intuition. It would make it way easier for Palpatine tho to taint him with darkness, since Fox wouldn’t know how to properly shield his mind, especially not against a sith lord.

The Shinto shrines and nearby villages would be Coruscant and the republic. As the head of the Coruscant Guard, it is his job and responsibility to protect and keep everyone safe.

Like the kitsune, Fox too has deep connections to his humans: His batch, his Corries, his vode. He would do everything to protect and aide them. He would basically shapeshift/ transform into someone cold and strong to ensure that safety. Only a few, who search and look, would be able to look trough his disguise and see his true nature.

And like the zenko, Fox serves a "god", the Chancellor. He is Palpatine’s messenger. He does what the Chancellor orders him.

Killing fives was not only to protect himself and his men but also to deliver a secret message: Nothing the jedi or vode do would ever bring them victory, as the sith lord has long won.

First pic

The panels are about cuphead going "back in time" andcreated the hand print on the glass of the bakery in fairmont town. (the Labyrinth is full of crazy and confusing scenes since it messed with time), "Holly" (Mayhem in disguise) feeling the power of the Instrument. Alice healing Bendy and having wings as she completed her act of charity. Mayhem touching Isaac's biceps (he was frozen in time here, and this is also not the real isaac so he's an illusion). Guardian Boris playing the Instrument. Sarah on the ceiling with her head upside down(this was during the time when Boris played the Instrument for the exit).

Second pic

The panels are about Felix hiding from the Night Terror as it went its way through (i think this was b4 Alice healed Bendy, and was when illusion "Alex" is there). Mayhem flying with her broom (i love her so muchhhh). The Night Terror turned gold as the light from Holly's staff touched it (it wasnt a staff, i aint so ure anymore, but i know this happened in inky mystery). Alice piercing the Night Terror's nape with the angel sword with anger (it was when b4 the anchor exit, when sarah tricked them into "escaping")

The panels are abt Mayhem being eaten by the Night Terror, only to explode it with her (green) magic and make it scream in excruciating pain. Tho, she ripped its human mouth on its back which made it stop (she was annoyed of its screams, and here ot was only a silhouette of her. Tho she showed extreme pleasure in silencing the beast). A figure of dark eyes appearing woth Boris' reflection (i headcanon its sarah, or maybe not. This was when alice and Holly were i Bigby's car in order to see the fairmont town. And during ther trip, they called Boris, who was on a school). Bendy and "Boris" (this one is actually Guardian Boris, just disguised his eyes) seeing a pool of blood before Boris stepped in and disappeared (well, this rlly confused me, but it was explained afterwards). The fence of Fairmont town. Sarah with her head cut off and is on fire ("THIS GIRL IS ON FIREEEE!!" lol, this was when bigby, mayhem, sarah and boris fought). Bendy hissing bcoz of his newly attained wound on his right eye (this was when mugman, cannikin, holly, felix, and alice went into Bendy's dreamt that Boris made for him... And it went into absolute massacre of "sillyvision"). The last one is The Tear, it was something mysterious that Sarah (and Boris) feared.

Bruh i just noticed that every start of the pics, there are panels portraying short scenes.

Given that Hibari is feral to some degree at the very least, do you think he'd be fine with camping in the wilderness for some time? Do you think he'd hunt his own food?

Canonically his favourite food is Hamburger Steaks, but what other foods do you think he likes? He is weak for the traditional aesthetic, so do you think this applies to food as well? Or is his secret, guiltiest pleasure just putting on a disguise and going to fast food restaurants late at night after a long patrol?

i think he'd be fine with it, yeah, but he wouldn't necessarily like it. but he'd be able to put up with it, especially if there's something else in it he most definitely likes doing. i'm thinking of when dino trained him during the varia arc, taking him away from namimori in various natural landscapes. and if it wasn't for hibari getting to try to bite him to death to his heart's content while they were there, i do think he'd have thrown a tantrum and been difficult about needing to camp outside sooner than later lol.

and tbh generally speaking i think that's the rule of thumb with him! there's not a chance in hell he'll do something he doesn't want to do and/or dislike doing, EXCEPT if, 1) it's something he needs to do and/or can't be done by anyone else but him (like the more civilized part of the disciplinary committee work lol, or, in a way, him being the cloud's guardian LOL), and 2) it's still something he doesn't want to do and/or dislike doing, BUT. there's something fun in it for him to do too, that either evens out or outweighs the sucky part of the thing. (to use the same example again, during the varia arc, he only put up with dino acting as his tutor because he got to fight him while he did.) the CATCH tho, is that the second the fun thing does not even out the sucky thing, let alone outweigh it, all bets are fucking off. see him breaking his watch during the rainbow arc, with no regards whatsoever for fon. (he's SUCH a little shit, i love him.)

i could see him hunting his own food, yeah! idk about him going through with the kill tho. i mean, i know it's only ever said he likes little animals, but i think he has a soft spot for animals as a whole. so unless absolutely necessary (namely if he's by himself, and, you know, needs to eat and there's no other food around), i feel like he'd let that part to someone else.

that said, he most definitely enjoys hunting them and backing them into a corner. not in any malicious way, but just to asset his dominance as the apex predator in the area lol. he totally lets them go after that. and even makes sure to get back in their good graces again after that. the way he sees it, it's just a fun bonding activity that lets both of them keep their skills sharp, because of course he does, you know how he is lol.

i do think so, yeah!! he has a soft spot for traditional food and enjoys it the most, but generally speaking i feel like he just really loves warm, homemade food prepared with care and love. which is why he makes kusakabe cook his favorite meal for him haha. i also want to say that... i could see that being something he associates with an act and show of love. i mean, cooking is absolutely a love language, right? so someone cooking for him would be them caring for him, and him trusting someone to cook for him according to his tastes and eat it would be him also caring for them. (wait, this is kinda sweet actually. 🥺💖)

what other foods he likes... oh, i'm terrible at stuff like this zedfcgvh!! but, well, cold desserts, maybe? and he hasn't much of a sweet tooth, but when he craves it, it solely happens through desserts. if he likes hamburger steak most, then i guess he's a meat guy too. definitely a warm drinks guy too, tea, and maybe coffe too tyl. uhhhh, idk, snacks too? i mean, biting all those people to death on the daily and all day long would require energy, so i'm sure kusakabe makes sure he replenishes it between one beating and another lol. hibari also makes sure to have and keep a healthy diet, but in a casual way. not too casual of course, he needs and would want to keep his body in shape and at maximum capacity, but no doubt in a more casual way than ryohei or yamamoto lol.

as for fast foods, only on occasion, and the rare type of occasions, re: healthy diet and him liking homemade food. and, you know, for me it wouldn't necessarily be him being hungry after a long patrol at night. i firmly believe that in such cases, if there's even just the slightest possibility to make it happen at all, he'd rather wake kusakabe up to cook him food with absolutely no remorse whatsoever. 😭😂

he likes and respects fast foods as places and a type of restaurants tho! because you can just walk inside them alone, and sit at a table alone, and eat alone before leaving, and no one bats an eye at it or thinks anything about it, and everyone lets you be because that's literally not uncommon whatsoever. he definitely doesn't like or respect the noise and crowd as much lol, but as long as it's not too much, i could see him put up with it just to enjoy a little more his time there.

on the note of him disliking crowds, maybe like, seven out of ten, he goes for delivery. he's also that much more likely to accept a fast food invitation (yes i'm thinking of the 10th gen haha) if you tell him you'll eat it some place quiet and cozy and he's comfortable and familiar in, and where they won't be too much people. (fast food night at tsuna's place, anyone?)

so in that way i don't think it'd be a guilty pleasure of his, but instead a pretty well-known fact about him. but if i should give him a food-related guilty pleasure, i honestly think it'd be something he's allergic to. like, he's lactose intolerant or something, and he doesn't care zerdfghhg. he's still stealthy about it and hides it from everyone, but only because he's annoyed to death by the nagging. it's not like he'll die from it, so what's the big deal? he only gets a little sick, get over it. he will keep having his milk and cheese and whatnot, just watch him.

i really don’t know where to start, but i’ll try to :D

So essentially witchcraft is kinda how it sounds. being a witch. a lot of media about witches takes some inspiration from witchcraft, but they are generally fairly inaccurate.

as well, it is not a religion unless you want it to be. it can just be a spiritual practice if that’s all you want it to be.

i’m gonna try to put this into sections so here we go

Wiccan, Hellenistic and Paganism witchcraft

this section does involve deities, and i will cover more on them in a bit.

as similar as wicca is to witchcraft, where are quite a few key differences. wicca has specific deities, such as The Horned God, The Green Man, as well as the triple aspect (based on phases of the moon) The Maiden, The Mother, and The Crone. wicca is more religiously based because of its use of deities.

hellenic witches are likely those you have seen on tiktok, talking about their experiences with Zeus or Artemis. they work with Greek deities and spirits.

pagan witches kind of pick and choose deities. one pagan witch may choose to work with Freya (a Norse deity) as well as Apollo (a Greek deity). i’ve even seen some pagan witches with Christian God or Jesus Christ as their deity, so it’s pretty cool.

there are also Norse Pagan witches who work with deities from the Norse mythos, such as Odin, Thor, Freya, or Loki (i work with Loki :D).

deity work

you may be asking, “Cam, what the fuck are deities?”, and i’m glad you asked (or not).

deities are a type of spirit guide, they are essentially a being of energy (that’s what some say) that can sometimes take on physical form. sometimes deities will want to work with you, so they’ll reach out. reaching out can include repeating numbers, symbols, animals, or interests.

as dope as deities are, there are also trixter spirits. while deities will help you grow in both your craft and in your general life, trixter spirits take that energy, and disguise themselves as a deity. an example i’ve seen is somebody had “Hades” reach out to them, but after starting to work with “him”, they started getting a lot of anxiety, and it turned out to be a trixter spirit.

spirit guides

now that i’m confusing you with terms you don’t know, it’s time to define them!!!

a spirit guide is kinda what it sounds like, it’s a spiritual guardian (deities, ancestors, spirit animals, guardian angels, ascended masters, passed love ones, and probably more that i didn’t include).

i already covered deities so i’m not gonna do it again, now let’s talk ancestors. i personally haven’t had much experience with mine, but looking at what others have experienced, it’s not one specific person. it’s more so a group of people. i’m not to helpful on the topic, so you may have to do you own research.

spirit animals are one of my personal favorites. it’s an animal that watches over you and helps you. some may have a pet that passed away, others may have a random animal (mine is a bear, she’s very sweet).

guardian angels are very prominent in Christian religions, and they are exactly as shown in Christianity. an angel that guards over you, and helps you.

ascended masters are kinda what they sound like. think Mary, Buddha, important mortals and masters in religions that help you out :).

passed loved ones are very self explanatory. they serve as a guardian angel of sorts.

now, how do you find these guides? i’d say the best method is guided meditations (look on youtube and spotify/apple music)

yay now what about actual witchcraft

so, there are a few types of witchcraft. let me show thy, in a motherfucking speedrun babyyyyy

Green witch- works with spells, herbs, crystals, and plants

Astrology witch- works with zodiac signs, sun, moon, stars

Divination witch- works on predicting the future (crystal balls, tarot [tarot isn’t limited to divination witches tho same with pendulums], tea leaves etc.)

Moon witch- works with the moon and moon-based deities (Selene, Hekate)

Sun witch- works with the sun and sun-based deities (Helios, Apollo)

Crystal witch- works with crystals (and sometimes chakras)

Grey witch- works with both light and dark forces, pretty neutral about this practice vs that practice

Chaos witches (meeeee)- works with chaos magic, and does anything to get things done (yes, this can include appropriation and violation of closed practices, but i personally do not like to go there bc guilt issues go brrr)

Eclectic witches- a little bit of everything!

now, i covered the basic and common types of witches, but there’s probably more out there, so don’t be afraid to resarch!!

closed practices

a closed practice is something specific to a culture. voodoo and hoodoo are two examples of closed practices, and those can be practiced by African American people, or people of African descent (don’t quote me on this part, i have like base knowledge on this). if you find a practice that i haven’t listened in the witchcraft types section, please to research on wether or not it’s a closed practice.

most of this brainrot so far is my doing, but to be fair it was his idea first (and when we get a plot going i will be writing and he will be drawing :DD right? i think so- (logan plz confirm that)

Church AU Brainrot

-Crowley- 🐍

- serpent from eden, became a priest to avoid the choice between heaven and hell

- holy water tears, leaving scars due to the half of him that is still hell incarnate

- he/him (secretly he/they)

- feels extreme guilt on behalf of both sides of him, when he does something good he betrays hell and when he does something bad he betrays heaven

- religious trauma to the MAX (if that wasn’t obvious already)

- becomes good friends with Nina and Maggie (will develop backstory for that later)

- often very quiet. he doesn’t lead any like mass, he mostly just hides in the background (to avoid being found out by the churchgoers) but he does occasionally allow people in to see him one on one (this is a very rare occurrence tho)

- remembers the angel of the east gate, and thinks about her often. he can’t really figure out why, but he often feels like she’s there with him.

- They were together (as in how they are in the show, running into each other every once in a while) until 1827 (grave robbing minisode) when Crowley decided to become a priest. He was overwhelmed with uncertainty about how good heaven actually is, but he didn’t want to stay with hell and be forced to hurt people, or let them hurt themselves.

- he often writes in a journal, sometimes seeking God’s help and sometimes seeking Satan’s. (it’s like his personality is split in half, and when he feels both he is in immense emotional distress)

- When he gets very stressed/angry his eyes turn full snake and he has to step outside of the church (consecrated ground)

- when he feels happy (rarely) or feels love (aka the presence of Azi) his eyes turn blue

How Crowley met Nina and Maggie:

There’s a small apartment right above Nina’s coffee shop, and one above Maggie’s record shop. Nina has her own apartment, so when Crowley got his Hell Appointed apartment taken from him- he didn’t know what to do. Nina noticed him living out of his Bentley and offered for him to rent out the apartment. Because he doesn’t make much money as a priest, he helps out at the shop when he can and collects tips to begin paying off his debt to Nina. (Even though Maggie has convinced her not to make him pay as much as often. We also see a little of Maggie and Nina’s relationship explored through Crowley’s interactions with them. Because of their love, he begins to find hope for himself- later finding out about the ineffable bureaucracy and having a crisis)

-Aziraphale- 🪽

- Angel of The East Gate

- uses all pronouns (i use she for her mostly tho)

- A representation of a biblically accurate angel (multiple halos, tons of glowy eyes and extreme power)

- fell in love with Crowley in the garden of eden.

- Azi did have a “human ish disguise” up until the incident in 1827, where Crowley decides to become a priest due to not wanting to get punished for saving and helping people. Azi was therefore banished to heaven for failing to “defeat evil”

- They were obviously distraught to be torn away from him, especially when he could use guidance now so she started to secretly watch over him when she could. they became a guardian angel of sorts

- behind the scenes she’s been trying to find a way to get back to earth for him

- Started her studies to become a “better servant of god” which then in turn made her a guardian Angel of sorts

- they desperately want to help Crowley choose (mostly heaven but it’s a guilty thought for them) so he isn’t stuck in this terrible limbo between

- Azi isn’t respected in heaven, but he holds out hope and never lets it get him down. they’re the good guys, so whatever they do has reason :) (oh yeah, she’s got trauma too. very very blinded. she struggles to understand why Crowley won’t pick a side, but she loves him anyway)

we started with this art piece on the waiting screen!

to me this resembles the shadow robes from last life. falling seems to be a pretty central theme again? martyn referenced it and its also depicted in his loading screen.

there is a purple aura around martyn and puple spirit-like figures that reach towards him. one touches his chest, the screen goes white

then there is a comic that presents the characters backstory! its very cool and will be uploaded to youtube, so you should check it out once its there 100%!! the gist is:

martyn is a young adult that goes to visit his new, strange neighbor with a peculiar accent named DOC

doc knows a bunch about computers, so martyn brings his console to have him check it out

while there, martyn comes across a (arcade?) machine. he tries to play it but the joystick doesnt to anything. so he hits a big button...

this transports him into the virtual world - he is pulled into the datastream

doc sees this and is working on a way out, but for now martyn is stuck

while in the datastream, he gets missions from doc: there is an evil organisation named C.H.E.S.T that wants to take over the entire internet - by fighting different of their agents, who disguise themselves as for example npcs in video games, martyn can save the internet!

he doesnt know much about c.h.e.s.t tho, other than doc telling him that "theyre the bad guys and that we're the good guys"

also whenever he defeats a c.h.e.s.t agent he gets these purple crystals? maybe?

doc calles martyn a guardian, but he thinks thats too extra - he calls himself a "datastream defender"

martyn has confirmed that this lore is conected to evo and the traffic smps, being associated with the shadow lore. he didn't give any hints tho, saying this is something we have to figure out

basically, im expecting tumblr to go full theory mode on this, its clearly something martyn has put a lot of thought into! i also have a few little ideas myself. so if somebody wants to enable me 👀

MONKIE KID S2E1 Sleep Bug (Live rewatch blog)

Well, I managed to watch the whole hour of S2E0, the Revenge of the Spider Queen episode during the wedding reception. My thoughts on the rewatch are RS and DBK cooking stand is cute and strangely wholesome. I can see chimerashipping and dragonfruit. Wukong and DBK's interaction, sad no PIF tho. Gotta say, Love how DBK defended PIF saying she ain't weak! MK finally getting some self-worth and self-esteem is satisfying to watch.

Now, the only thing I remember about the sleep bug episode is the fact of a virus that makes people sleep and MK's name is long?
