I did it again. I made a physical copy of one of my fanfics, and it turned out brilliant. I love it, and I wanted to share it with you all.

The fic is a The Owl House fic called “On Earth and Boiling Isles.”

“Luz is an overactive girl being sent to Summer camp. Her sister is a punk who picked too many fights on her sister’s behalf and is stuck taking Summer classes to make up for a suspension.

Luz goes to the Boiling Isles, and meets Amity Blight, a witch who is her rival-turned-friend-turned-girlfriend.

Lucia is stuck in class, and meets Amelia, a green haired, pointy earred girl and local class flirt.

Luz destroys the portal that will take her back home at the end of the summer to keep it out of an Emperors hands.

Lucia greets her sister back from Summer camp, and can’t shake the feeling that something is very wrong.”

It clocks in at 278 pages, and 172k words. Unlike my last fic, this one doesn’t have any illustrations inside, as I hadn’t really hit my artsy phase, but I did create the covers! It has two covers due to the two plots that go on in the story, one focused on big sis Lucia on Earth, and the other on Luz in the Boiling Isles. See, so clever! I deserve headpats and praise for being so smart!

The story was written over a year ago, and only stays with canon up until the end of S2e8. I started writing it almost immediately after S2e4, where “Creepy Luz” first appeared, and had to draw a line on when canon had to end, since I kept having to update written parts of the fic, and find roles for new characters as they were added. Raine hadn’t shown up yet when I started writing, and Hunter was still just the Golden Guard, after all! The story started getting posted about two weeks after 2A ended, with the bulk written before Yesterday’s Lie even aired.

My TOH Beta AU is along the lines that the og designs got green lit by Adult Swim and it's basically Rick and Morty but with women and with a fantasy/witch setting instead of a bro-y sci-fi/multiverse, and also really cool and fluid fight scene animation.

Luz is 19 and struggling through community college after flunking out of high school and one day she is fucking around with a funky old spell book she found in the dumpster and opens a portal to another world and the owner of the book shows up. The owner (but not the writer) of the book is Eda, The Owl Lady, a seller of illegal potions, magic wares, and the self-proclaimed Most Powerful Witch in the Boiling Isles, but also a hoarder alcoholic hedonist who has a penchant for getting stoned. Luz thinks Eda's fucking rad and crashes on her couch in return for a part time gig as the illegal potions dealer's body guard and middle man. In her spare time Luz enrolls in Magic Community College ("There's a community college for witches? Eat shit Hogwarts, I'm going there"), aids in the rescue of King- the self proclaimed King of Demons, a homeless talking garbage eating demon ("Ayo, he's like a little raccoon!")- who becomes their snarky roommate and mascot, makes friends at school, goes to magic parties, gets into fights, flirts with the stuck up rich girl who should be at university???, runs from the magic cops ("Oh fuck, it's my sister. Hey, sis!" "The chief of police is your sister???"), and has to stop unspeakable terrors from entering the human world.

draxum is like thor except slightly evil? hes an alien from another planet and his planet got destroyed by the kraang and hes being manipulated by belos

the foot clan is like the red room from marvel except different and slightly less serious. cass grew up there and shes fun and quirky

vee and Sunita are sisters, both are basilisks and they have their whole shapeshifting thing. sunita is number 4 and she escaped years ago and got adopted by her current family, who happens to be Katya's family

speaking of katya!! Raine whispers is basically like daredevil. music teacher by day, superhero by night its great and the batts dont know YET but itll be fun when they do

raines whole thing is theyre REALLY fucking ANXIOUS which is basically just me projecting but they basically have a really really intense spidey sense its rad but kinda sucks when theyre constantly on the verge of a panic attack

it is way too much to contain in one story but i think for like a whole universe it is fun and i might need to do like 3 fics focusing on each group of people because im like SUPER interested in raines whole thing

So it’s been well over a month since L&L’s season 1 finale, and I said by that point I’d collect all the responses on voting whether or not season 2 will be released in two batches or one.

So, after consulting all the comments/reviews on FFN and Ao3, the DMs/PMs from Tumblr and FFN, and all the Asks on my blog, I have concluded that a good majority of you would prefer to have season 2 of Loyalty & Light be released in two batches!

So, that means the next time I update the story, it’ll follow a bi-weekly update schedule (as per usual) and go from chapter 21 to 30, releasing only ten chapters. Then a mid-season hiatus for me to write the next half, and sometime later I return with chapter 31 to 41 and that wraps up season 2.

Season 3 will definitely be released in on batch, as there’s not much for me to split up, but I’m happy to see everyone come in so eagerly with their preferences. I’m sorry if you were part of the minority that wanted to have all of season 2 in one batch!

Either way, I hope you all bear with me for the long ride that awaits the next update! This fox is definitely in it for the long haul, so I hope everyone will stick around too. I’ll still have more to say here and there about exciting things to come for L&L, but I can say that season 2’s cover art has been made and I will show you all the second I have a confirmed date of when the fic will return. So that’ll be a long wait too I’m afraid.

Beta ToH GTA AU Amity

Ah shit, here we go again.(meme) From the fic Los Santos Dreams

Amity Blight aka Princess

age: 22

Unlike the others, Amity was born into this life. The youngest daughter in a powerful crime family in Los Santos, her life revolved around the criminal underworld since she could talk. Her parents pushed her and her siblings to be the perfect children while training them for eventually taking over the family business.

Now if you ask her what happened to her parents, well she’ll look you straight in the eye and mention the fire set in the mansion one night. If you ask who set it, she’ll only smile in a slightly deranged way.

This is only intimidation. A calculated move to throw people off and make her seem more dangerous than she is.

What she fails to mention is the gunfire that night, the screams of guards. Clutching tight to her brother and sister as they hid in her room. The crash of the door as its kicked open and the curse of a strange man as he took in three children barely into their teens.

Someone shouted his name, asking if anyone was in the room.

“...No, no. Just some rich people shit...” He leaned in and motioned towards the window, then grabbed and shut the door. Amity will never forget that man, nor the sight of Blight Manor burning as they made their escape.

Luckily, the children were eventually found by another survivor of that dark night, Lilith Clawthorne. Together they fled the city, eventually laying low with her sister for awhile.

Lilith and Eda would end up practically raising the Blights. Eda taught the twins the intricacies of cat burglary and pickpocketing, while Amity learned guns and violence from Lilith, the former Blight Enforcer. When Eda suggested moving to Los Santos, Amity was the only Blight to go with.

Now she acts as an enforcer for their little group. Anytime any of them has a problem, it’s a sure bet the offending party will be visited by a green mane and a pink outfit.

After the incident at the bank, Amity refuses to think about it if she can help it. But a small voice in her head, an old voice, her mothers voice, whispers “It’s because Blights are better...” She hates that voice.

People think she went back to Los Santos due to her ties as a Blight, or her loyalty to the Clawthornes. But really she wants to find that man again. Whether to thank him or kill him, even she doesn’t know.

But all she has is a ten(ish) year out of date memory of sleepy eyes and some tattoos and what can only be a codename.

Luz is an alpha but takes suppressants for [some reason?]. Eda knows she's an alpha but everyone else thinks she's a beta. Eda is alpha mom. Camilia is omega mom. Lilith is omega aunt/mom? Amity and Willow are omegas and Gus is a beta. Sisters bonding during tragic times. Amity finds human magic interesting and strange, much like Luz, though it doesn't take her long to realize something changed in Luz. 'Why is she so jumpy lately'. Both will do some healing and deep bonding. Everyone will find their home and their found family <3
