This scene is so important, actually.
The Blight kids really have grown so much since their initial dynamic in Lost in Language, which was... unhealthy to say the least. Here, Amity is obviously freaking out. She’s scared and her last option to contact Luz is gone, she’s clearly working herself into a panic. The twins, on the other hand, aren’t exactly okay, but they’re better off right now than she is, because they’ve always had each other to lean on.
So they ask themselves, what’s capable of cheering Amity up even now? And the answer, of course, is Luz. What would Luz think? What would she say, if she were here right now? They know how much of a calming effect Luz can have on Amity, and that’s how they’re able to try and have her take a breath.
And it works.
Amity is able to bring herself back from the panic and focus on what Luz would say to her. How she’d comfort her. Look how happy the twins are, and they’re happy because Amity is calming down. She’s always been one to whip herself into a frenzy, but they’ve found a countermeasure that works.
(And then, of course, Edric and Emira see that Luz herself is now here, so they peace out like good older siblings and let their baby sister have her first kiss.)

DISCLAIMER UNDER CUT:
The whole reason I wanted to do this comic in the first place was to explore how PTSD can effect a person much more outwardly aggressive than I feel like it’s portrayed typically. That muscle memory however removed from your situation it is can force you to do and say things that may have protected you in the past but now may hurt the people around you. Hunter taking an argument from spoken to physical is not the right way to handle this situation. I am not endorsing this behavior or telling you that you are allowed to express yourself in a similar way. If you are struggling with this type of overreactive PTSD I recommend that you might see a therapist to work through those issues the way that Hunter has not yet in this comic.
While many of you have been excited to see the climax where Hunter would “take Boscha down a peg” and it is cathartic in a way to see someone who has hurt someone else be punished I hope you know that violence is not the answer if it in any way can be avoided. Please do not physically harm anyone who has not physically harmed or threatened you.

You wouldn’t think that the introverted skrunkly man and the literal embodiment of a confident girl boss would be such a good ship, but you’d be wrong.

Spoilers for Watching and Dreaming!
After my fifth rewatch of this episode, I noticed a detail that maybe made me cry. Just a bit. As we all know at the start of the episode Luz, King, and Eda are all stuck in their worst nightmares due to the Collector. The one I want to focus on is Luz's dream.
Now I could rant a ton about this, the details the emotion, but I'll keep this to a minimum. Luz finds Amity first, and Amity starts to try and attack. Luz runs off and ends up with Willow, who is also aggressive and threatening. Then Gus, who passive aggressively attacks her. Then there is Hunter. Now this one is different. Hunter is simply broke down. But the main thing is when the rest of the group, Gus Willow and Amity, start to attack, Hunter does nothing. He simply stays crouched down on the floor, crying.
After thinking about it this means so much more than just he is simply sad. Luz's worst nightmares for each of her friends are exactly as the nightmare goes. She is afraid Amity, Gus, and Willow will feel betrayed and turn and fight against her. But with Hunter, she may be afraid of this, but she is more scared that he will break down, stop fighting. Luz is more scared that her brother will finally snap, than for him to attack her. Literally sobbing help 😭
Anyways this has been a Chaos Rambles, byeeeee!
