a/n : i bought a lot of books and never ever read them so.. here we are.. a drabble!

summary : inupi is surprised to see your room that had.. a concerning amount of books.

you had decided to move in with inupi at his apartment so you two were packing your stuff. while he packed the stuff in the living room, you were packing personal stuff in your bedroom. after five years of dating when you met him while he was still in tokyo manji gang inupi was always a respectful man. never once going to far from your box but is willing to try if you wanted to. he would always ask for consent either a kiss, a hug or to sleep in one bed together.

going through your room, a pang of nostalgia hits you. you've been living in this small and spacious apartment for a decent long time so finally moving out from there was quite a challenge but you wanted your relationship with inupi to take another stage. therefore when he suggested you'd to move in with him, you quickly agreed.

"hun do you have more plastic over there? there's this garbage i still need to throw it" he shouted from the living room.

Many people may think that pinky promises don't mean anything or simply don't take them seriously, but the Inui thinks otherwise, he loves making promises like that and always, under any circumstances, takes them seriously, Inupi never promises something that cannot fulfill, for this reason, he is extremely loyal to what he promises.

Whenever you ask him to promise something, Inupi reaches out and asks for a promise, always doing it in the cutest way possible, he just accepts promising something more easily when you agree to make a pinky promise.

"Can we make a pinky promise, please?", "Pinky promise?" Or "Do you promise? Pinky promise?" These would be things that he would definitely say with a cute puppy expression.

If you end up breaking a promise, whatever its content, Inupi would be extremely hurt for a long period of time, even so, he would end up forgiving you at some point, but he would tell you not to promise things that you wouldn't be able to fulfill, Despite this, Seishu is extremely understandable and is completely lovable most of the time, even though he has a more reserved personality and some difficulties in showing his feelings.

For Inupi, pinky promises are demonstrations of affection, as previously mentioned, he has certain difficulties in demonstrating feelings or affection, it is a subtle and gentle way for him to end up expressing these feelings in a way that makes him feel comfortable, of course when someone breaks these promises he feels that his feelings have been invalidated in some way, for this reason, after someone ends up breaking his trust for the first time, he usually loses importance with the person's attitudes.

You're Alright (Seishu Inupi x GN!Reader oneshot)

A/n: My town had a pretty big storm last night, so I decided to write this at two A.m. (then I passed out on my keyboard.) For some reason, I have this headcanon that Seishu has astraphobia (fear of thunder & lightning,) So I decided to make this. Enjoy!

Warnings: Slight cursing, scared Seishu, tall people,

Ever since you had known Seishu, he had been timid. He wasn’t overly shy, but you knew that some things scared him more than others.

One of those things being thunder.

You couldn’t blame him; sometimes the sudden loud noises of thunder outside can spook anyone, no matter how much they like the sound. And honestly, you kinda liked the way he curled into you when there was a small storm.

But a big storm was a different story.

“You’re sure everything’s alright?” Seishu asked, a slight waver in his voice, “Like, there won’t be a tornado or anything?”

You chuckled, holding him closer to you, “Yes, Seishu; if there was a tornado, there’d be sirens.”

“You don’t know that!”

“Yes I do, baby,” You brushed some hair out of his face, “I’ve been in a tornado before; they test the sirens to make sure they work.”

“What if there was a last-minute issue?”

“Seishu, they have-”

BANG

Seishu let out a small scream, burying his face deeper into your chest as his body shook from dear. You felt bad for your boyfriend, but there wasn’t much you could do.

“It’s alright, dear,” You whispered into his ear, “It’s just a noise.”

“I hate it so much,” Seishu held onto you for dear life, “I don’t even know why I hate it.”

“That’s alright; it’s normal to be scared of something like that.”

The moment you saw lightning flash outside, you covered Seishu's ears, snuggling him deeper into your chest to shield him from the storm outside. Just from the ten minutes that it stormed, you could feel Seishu trembling in your arms.

BANG

Even with his ears covered, Seishu flinched hard, letting out a small whimper as his breathing hitched.

“Hey, hey, you’re alright, Shu; focus on me, okay? It’s just a storm; I promise it won’t hurt you.”

“It’s just so fucking loud,” Seishu whispered, his breathing speeding up.

“Look at me, pretty boy,” You pulled his face out of his chest, wiping his forming tears away, “Take a deep breath, okay? Follow my-”

BANG

“What the fucking shit!” Seishu pulled himself into your lap again, nestling his face into your shoulder.

You put your arms around the shaking boy, “Focus on me, alright? Just focus on me.”

“Can we go down to the basement?” Seishu asked, his voice wavering as he struggled to hold his tears back, “You know, just in case?”

“Would that make you feel better?” You ran your fingers through his soft blond locks.

Seishu nodded, clinging onto you as you walked down the basement steps, laying on the couch with your shaky boyfriend on your chest, the two of you basking in the muffled sound of the rain.

“Feeling any better?”

Seishu wrapped his arms around you, “Mhm. Sorry for making you do this.”

“Don’t appoligize; you know I could never be mad at you for something like this!”

“I still feel guilty,“ Seishu mumbled, closing his eyes, “I mean, I woke you up at 3-”

BANG

Seishu curled into a ball on your chest, still startled by the noise.

“Want me to get your earplugs?”

He shook his head, “I need to get over it sooner or later. I just wanna sleep.”

“Alright,” You pulled him into you, “Wake me up if you need something, okay?”

“I will.”

“Sleep tight, Seishu,” You kissed his head, “You’re alright.”
