Me & the questions aren’t going anywhere lol

1: if they can design their hair what type of haircut would they create? Buzz cut, Mohawk, half shave like prime earth lor-zod, bald XD etc..

2: is the whole Superman getting his identity revealed canon to your universe? ( not the one where he openly reveals it but where he got blackmailed) & for angst & sadness, this takes places after the invasion of zod, imagine sitting in a classroom next to the introvert boy who open up a portal & got your love ones killed.

3: would Jon feel angsty with the super twins if aged normally? Maybe feeling the same way Chris felt when he was growing up: abandoned & replaceable.

4: would they use farts as a weapon? I can see Jake squatting over that victor zassz guys face & letting out a high rip XD

5: speaking of that, a villain for Jake: similar to smoke from mortal kombat, but uses farts instead of :p

6: any Christmas themed outfits? Maybe just add a blue & green Santa hat for Chris & Jake

1) As kids and preteens, their respective hairstyles remain as they’re usually depicted but as they reach into their later teens, that’s when their hairstyles deviate even if it’s slightly, more or less based on their canonical appearances in their respective stories. As such, upon reaching his mid teens, Chris sets to smooth and shorten his hair on it’s sides and back, leaving mainly his bangs intact. Then there’s Jake whom also trims off the top but most of all, combs his bangs upward having a noticeable streak present. Only instead of white akin to both in New Order or more commonly Jason Todd’s, Jake’s streak would be red like his Mother’s hair

2) Ideally no not really, I don’t really intend to have that plot angle be incorporated personally into my universe since the optics and wider scale consequences would have to be be addressed and past canonical times that’s happened have proven the concept is precarious in execution.

That being said though, had Chris’ identity alone though had gone public (Lois can come up with a generally accepted cover story of Superman letting the kid be cared for by his longtime Daily Planet friend Clark after the Bizarro incident just in case), then that Angsty route of him overhearing and bears the brunt of his classmates who blame him for the tragic consequences of Zod’s invasion should be excellent to explore for his character. It makes his doubts about whether Earth being his true home or not still linger as a constant source of internal turmoil and anxiety all the more palatable as he can feel all of that loss was his doing at the end of it. This is further complicated by also though of people like other classmates who still believe in his heroism and being a positive spot in their world. He did them is still their hero in spite of everything and it’s not just Jake and Jon that are telling him that.

All of that is delicious stuff to tackle for stories and I’m quite surprised that frankly I hadn’t tho if they too deep about it till basically now lol

3) I have a feeling that can be somewhat the case but I don’t foresee even an aged-up-too-fast Jon merely holding it all in just because of his sake. I can fully see him even talk with the twins about those emotions out of honesty but also reassurance that they belong in the family as much as Chris and him do. The twins are likely being accepting and understanding of those thoughts their adoptive big brother shares in the best way they know how. I don’t think I can call immediate reconciliation but it has a start and it can grow as their bonds grow over time.

4) …..mmmm…Nah. Funny as the idea sounds at least in their heads, maybe at for most for like panels where they have thought balloons showing that visual, the Duo are not exactly gross humor based when doing superhero work. Maybe some slapstick and definitely snark but not gross out

5) I can see a villain who utilizes gassy smells and other flatulence related gimmicks being akin to a joke villain for Skybird, akin to one of Spider-Man’s lesser known and often derided foes, Big Wheel. Maybe like some dude bro in his late teens who never really grew out of his early high school life, having been expelled from so many schools for his crude humor that at most he can get a GED. So he turns to small scale crimes and mischief to fulfill his habits, like a prankster type of villain that regularly gives the Bludhaven PD massive headaches to deal with. He dubs his villain moniker The Gas Master.

6) Maybe Jake can have a Skybird suit with the yellow parts if the torso being a light red while the main parts are instead differing shades of green. The cape can also be a solid white like the snow itself. Finally, Skybird can wear a hoodie with similar colors of green and light red with a white band to reflect the Holiday spirit in the air.

Then there’s Chris which the only real change to his suit in fitting for the Holiday season can be small Santa pins on the right side of his shirt.

Nova was stuck.

She wasn't sure what she was supposed to do next or how she was supposed to approach getting her sister back into her life. How was she going to explain any of it to Magpie and how was Magpie going to react.

There was no telling on what was going to happen and Nova's best bet on making sure things ran smoothly was telling Magpie about what Nova had discovered after their mission succeeded. But there was no real guarantee that it would and Nova wasn't sure if she could wait much longer.

Nova had been waiting for 10 years to get to her sister. How would she be able to wait any long when her precious baby sister was right there in front of her and needed Nova. Magpie was one of the orphans that was part of the Renegades program to help parentless prodigies. It was supposed to "keep them on the right path" though Nova just saw it as forcing them into compliance.

But that meant Magpie had barely anyone to watch after her and look out for her. She didn't have someone to take care of her, just like Nova hadn't had anyone to be there for her. She couldn't let the same happen to her younger sister.

And she needed to move fast in case Magpie was adopted. If she was adopted how was Nova ever supposed to get her back.

For once, the fact that no one ever wanted a prodigy child was a reassurance. It was Nova's only hope that Magpie wouldn't be adopted in the time Nova's mission lasted so Nova could then go and raise her and give her safety.

The safety she should have given her sister a long time ago.

Nova paced around her small room.

With the new revelation there was so much to consider.

But Nova knew above all she needed a plan that was efficient as possible. Making good plans was Nova's greatest skill and somehow she was at a loss for what to do. There was no logical or safe steps to take.

Even if Nova could bring Magpie home right then and there and raise her, was it even the safest route possible for Magpie. All things pushed aside, mission or not, Nightmare or not, Nova was not the most stable person. She needed a lot of therapy and while she would put everything into taking care of her sister, she was worried that she was too traumatized to be able to take care of Magpie without passing trauma onto her.

Nova was in therapy but she wasn't sure if she would ever be ready to take care of Magpie in the time frame that she needed to be ready. It was a lot to consider.

Her therapy sessions with Cleo had been going wonderfully. It hurt a lot, exposing Nova to parts of herself she didn't even want to know that she had, but she was already improving and becoming better from it. She was desperately trying to become better, for her safety and the safety of everyone else.

Nova took a deep breath.

"You can do this," she told herself. "You'll figure it out and then bring home your sister and take care of her and everything will be okay."

Nova sat down and write everything out. She found that writing things down to review the information helped her make the best plan as possible.

It took her a while to get it all in writing, spending an hour at her desk getting it on paper and then organizing all the information, but she was starting to formulate the inkling of a plan on what to do.

It would be smart to make sure Magpie was aware of the situation, but it would not be a good idea for Nova to start raising her just yet or for anyone to know they were sisters but them. It was too risky for Magpie's safety and that was what needed to come first and foremost.

The question that came after that was how she was supposed to properly tell Magpie and explain everything to her. There was no doubt that Magpie would have some resentment to her and would loath Nova if she wasn't told the whole story. But if Nova gave her the whole story it might cause more problems then it would solve.

Nova didn't know Magpie all that well and while she knew that she had absolutely no respect for the Renegades, which Nova admired, that didn't mean Nova was in the clear with her secret identity if she told Magpie.

How would Nova even tell her that at all? And how would Magpie even react to finding out she was related to Ace Anarchy?

None of this was a conversation that was going to be normal what so ever. It was going to be chaotic and emotional and overall insane despite Nova going to do everything to make sure it stayed quiet.

An idea sprung into Nova's head.

Magpie was always hunting down Nova's bracelet and she would most likely do it again. If Nova could just frame her so it looked like Magpie took it again, she could probably convince whoever dolled out her punishment that Magpie should work a later night shift with Nova in the Artifacts. That gave Nova a clear time slot to explain everything to her and it gave her a chance to spend time with her. They already had the rivalry part of being siblings down. All they needed after that was the part where they actually got along.

At the very least, it made Magpie aware of the situation and it gave them time to adjust to one another before anything moved any further. It would give Magpie a chance to comprehend the situation and Nova a chance to go to therapy and heal before everything was set up so she could take in Magpie and raise her.

It wasn't perfect and telling Magpie that Nova was Nightmare was incredibly risky but it was worth it to Nova. Anything was worth it if it meant she got her baby sister back. She had ten years to make up and she was going to give Magpie her all.

She barely knew her, but she loved her more then anything in the world. And Magpie deserved that love and affection.

Nova was going to figure it out. She was determined to do so. Nova had been willing to send the whole government tumbling to the ground if she thought it meant justice for her sister and family as a whole. Nova would happily go to greater lengths then that just to get her back.

And no one was going to stop her.

Even if she was arrested and caught, she would keep fighting for her sister. She would keep doing everything for Magpie- Evie- Maggie- whatever Nova was supposed to call her.

Nova dialed Adrian's number. If anyone knew how Magpie was reprimanded it would be him since when she had first met both of them, he was already threatening her with punishment for stealing Nova's bracelet.

He picked up right away. It didn't surprise her at all. He hadn't left too long ago but she figured he was keeping an eye on the phone in case she called since her knew very well how this was causing her intense emotional turmoil.

"Are you okay?" Adrian asked immediately.

"Not relevant at the moment. I have a plan and I have a question," Nova said.

She didn't care about herself at the moment. She didn't care about anything but getting her sister back and giving her justice. That would always be her end goal until she achieved it.

"What is it?"

"When we first met at the parade, you threatened Magpie with being reprimanded for stealing if she didn't return the bracelet. If she were to steal it again, how would her punishment be handled."

"Well I'm one of the people who's in charge of keeping an eye on her so if I was there it could be whatever I saw fit," Adrian explained.

"Perfect," Nova said. "I don't think I'll be able to take in Magpie anytime soon, it's far too risky, but I do have an idea on how I'm supposed to at least let her know that we're sisters and that I'm doing everything in my power to take care of her."

"Which is?"

"I know this might be risky, but if we can frame her for stealing my bracelet again and you're there, you could make her work a later shift with me at the Artifacts. You could tell us something about trying to get us to get along so she stops trying to take it. Figuring out the root of the problem or whatever bullshit you all tell yourselves. When it's just us working together, I can tell her everything. Or at least get close enough to her to be able to tell her."

"Nova that's genius," Adrian said. "My star you are so smart."

Nova's heart fluttered and she was completely giddy, both by his words of affirmation and by the idea that he so confidently believed in her plan and was in on it. Even if it was just them, it would work perfectly and everything would fall into place.

Still, at the same time, despite the excitement and bolt of confidence, nervousness washed over her. And the more news that popped up the more conflicted she was beginning to feel. Nova thought she had her closure, but it was instead unraveling.

Nova remembered when she was little, when she was upset, she'd pray just like her parents and Ace had taught her to do. Her parents told her that if she wasn't sure what to do to pray and think about it and God would tell her what to do.

Her family had been very religious and very Catholic and she remembered going to the Cathedral for her first communion in a little room with her family and the little rosary that her mother always wore.

But Nova had long since abandoned religion. Her parents were religious. Her whole family was. Her uncle even lived in a cathedral. She would ring the bell in the Cathedral and it was one of the few things that brought her joy after her parents death. But then in a span of a month she lost all of her family and she didn't understand how God could do that to her or do that to them.

Then as time went on, Nova hated religion and the Cathedral wasn't even a holy building anymore. She was glad it was rubble because she didn't want to have to live in. A building full of the thing she hated. And the Renegades saw themselves as god so she hated them for that too. Hated them on impulse for being false idols and then hating them for trying to be a god.

In Nova's mind, there was no greater sin then trying to play god. Not because of religious views but because she couldn't stand the thought of someone believing they had the right to control someone's life like that. It disgusted her.

And of course, she had realized she had seen the Anarchists, and Ace especially, as god themselves. Nova hated herself for that. She hated it for the same reason she hated the Renegades for it but still, it hurt even more because these were the people that had torn her life apart like it was a sheet of paper and she idolized them.

Nova thought she had gotten closure on her religious beliefs a while ago as well and now she was questioning that too. Questioning it like she was questioning everything else. Ace orchestrated all of it and he took away her religious beliefs too, the last thing she had as a connection to her family. She was so tempted just to believe out of spite and to have something of her family again. To be able to believe that when she was dead too, that she'd have her family again. It was the one belief she could never force herself to abandon. It was the only hope she had.

But if God was real how could he let all this happen? Would her parents still want her to believe in God? Did she need a God?

Nova was unsure, just like she was unsure about everything else. Everything but the fact that if God was real to her, then God would give Nova back her sister.

For the first time in ten years, Nova prayed.

Just like she would if she was still with her family, she knelt in front of the wall and clasped her hands together. They had a cross on the wall in the living room and on Sunday's they prayed. Usually her dad was out trying to make money but when he came home he always signed the cross as he passed it and when it was just Nova and her mother, she recalled her mom holding her rosary between her hands and telling Nova that one day, she'd have her own. Nova was almost certain her mother had died with it on and wore it as much as Nova wore her bracelet.

Despite it having been ten years, Nova still remembered some of the prayers by heart to the point where it almost enraged her. How could she remember something she didn't even want to know when she could only ever remember the faces of her parents if she stared at the mirror long enough.

As soon as she started praying, Nova stopped. If God was real then they were cruel and Nova wasn't even going to consider forgiving them until she had her sister back. Even then, if God wasn't dead, then they were going to be when Nova found them.

FINALLY NEW OC TIME BABEY

The boy is Emrys, a prince from the Mirrorplane who is on the run from his own kingdom! The girl is Lacie, an orphan who was raised by a guild that rescued her from a somewhat abusive/manipulative friendship as a child!

More (incredibly long) info about these kiddos under the cut~

Emrys (or Em for short)

Age: 23

Hair color: Golden orange

Eye color: Red

Element: Lightning

Emrys is from the Mirrorplane, the parallel world to ATS. His kingdom is caught in a huge power struggle between all the other kingdoms, and Emrys’ mother, a queen who only seeks power from others, is leading them straight into ruin. Emrys is destined to receive the Crest of the Crowned, which is basically a huge emblem of power, as soon as he’s officially crowned as the king. Except that the queen plans to utilize the emblem’s power to start a grand war, which. Is not good!! The night Emrys finds this out, he plans to escape the kingdom along with his childhood best friend Lixin, a regular human who’s basically being used as a pawn to be married off to Emrys’ younger sister in order to create powerful elemental children. Yikes! Emrys is also engaged to a princess from another kingdom, but it’s an arranged marriage, and he doesn’t have feelings for her (so there’s another good reason for him to leave). Lixin is caught during his escape, and Emrys leaps to his rescue, but in the scuffle things get tense and he accidentally kills the guards sent after them. Hands stained with blood, Emrys stumbles into a portal leading to the other side of the Mirrorplane.

Emrys decides that he might as well stay there since he doesn’t know how to get home and he probably shouldn’t go home--he’ll be safer here, and this way his mother can’t use him to start a war. This goes alright for a couple months as he adapts to a world that isn’t constantly fighting with each other, until he realizes that his mother somehow sent people to come look for him and capture him so he can be dragged back home. He also hears word that Lixin is in this world as well. Emrys goes on the run, never sticking around one place for long, and tries to search for Lixin along the way. This is when he meets Lacie!

Personality traits

• Has a hard time trusting people in general. Refuses to get close to people in fear of them getting hurt. Because he's on the run and is a target he tries to keep to himself. A very lone wolf type. Doesn't want other people to get dragged into his problems so he tries to handle everything alone

• Very quiet, observant, INCREDIBLY intelligent--gets really absorbed in books when given the chance. One of the few times his facade falls and he gets Soft and passionate is when he's immersed in reading/studying. Loves absorbing knowledge from this world since it’s different from the Mirrorplane

• Makes scathing remarks often. Doesn't get riled up even when people tempt him. Is able to keep a very cool head most of the time. When he does get angry he gets STUBBORN. Refuses to let people try to talk to him or calm him down. Brushes people off and ignores attempts at support

• You know that he trusts you when he teases you or pokes fun at you

• Very wary. Always keeps an eye out for an escape route

• Careful around people. Knows his strength so he tries not to hurt others

• Deep down tho he's utterly selfless, unbelievably loyal to the people he cares about, and is a truly kind and generous person. He would sacrifice anything, even himself, to keep his friends safe, and beats himself up constantly if one of them gets hurt.  Once he learns to open himself up to others he becomes Tender and is able to express himself easier. He's truly a gentle person at heart

• Is awful at romance because he has no experience (even being engaged) and gets flustered easily when it comes to anything with romantic intent. This is like the one thing he has zero confidence in. Lacie usually has to take charge in this department because he’s too hesitant and nervous to figure anything out himself, so he tends to follow her lead, which sometimes leads to disaster but they figure things out one step at a time!

Elemental abilities

Lightning elemental: Uses a thin sword/rapier to fight. Is VERY fast and agile. Usually starts by hitting pressure points and jolting them with electricity to numb the nerves. Doesn’t really like using his lightning directly so he tries to stick to the rapier as often as possible

He’s not a huge fan of fighting so he’d rather avoid conflict if necessary (especially after he killed someone on accident before). However he should not be underestimated in battle--he’s been trained how to fight from a young age so he knows what he’s doing. He uses a lot of tactics and smarts to get himself out of sticky situations

Lacie’s parents died when she was very young, so she was sent to an orphanage shortly after. Her parents were bandits, labeled as outlaws, so a lot of the kids teased her and ostracized her. This caused her to hold a grudge against both them and her parents, even though they’d only resorted to thievery to provide for her and themselves. There was, however, one person who reached out to her there--an older girl named Gwendolyn. Gwen was very standoffish and didn’t care what the other children thought of her. She was the first person to treat Lacie normally, so Lacie grew attached to her. However, Gwen used Lacie and treated her as a tool to do what she wanted, but Lacie, too terrified of losing the only ‘friend’ she had, never spoke up about it. Gwen did care about Lacie, and there was a genuine friendship there, but that was overshadowed of her tendency to manipulate Lacie.

Gwen eventually hatched a plan to escape the orphanage and strike out on their own. Lacie agreed and together they snuck out in the middle of the night. (Sounds familiar? Wow, parallels!) The next day, Gwen tried to steal from a person in town, which ended up being a member of the guild nearby. Gwen managed to get to Lacie before getting caught and shoved the stolen items onto her, making her a target. Lacie realized how awful this was and finally gathered the courage to yell at Gwen. The guild member caught up, saw their interaction, and took Gwen in for questioning. He escorted Lacie to the guild, where she was pretty much adopted by the members.

Lacie grew up with the guild and learned compassion and how to forgive her parents. As an adult she’s a very kind, friendly and confident person. She is still burdened by her past but she tries not to let it get to her. 

Personality traits

• Not the most polite person since she doesn't really have a filter

• VERY curious. Somewhat naive. Asks a lot of bugging questions if she doesn't know something

• Hot-headed and stubborn. Gets riled up easily, but can control herself when she's angry. Argues a lot but isn't fond of it

• In reality, a very kind person who cares for her friends and would do anything to protect her family. Spirited and determined

• Can be kind of silly, especially when she's trying to cheer others up. Emrys finds her amusing and calls her a dork

• A leader type character...one that can take charge of the situation when everybody else is losing their heads

• Willing to step out of her comfort zone and dive into new adventures without hesitation. She lives for the thrill. Is spontaneous and willing to take risks/chances. Drags Emrys into her fun a lot bc he’s so sheltered as a prince lmao

• Self confident on the outside, insecure in reality (a lot of this comes from the emotional abuse she went through as a kid). But not enough that it's crushing--just enough to make her second guess things sometimes, ESPECIALLY when it comes to Emrys because he's a rubix cube of emotions and she's always afraid of overstepping her boundaries--this is only when she finds out more about him tho. She doesn't mind being an ass to him when they first met because he’s kind of a jerk so her first instinct is to lash out at him

• Isn't necessarily a rule breaker until it's brought up, and then she gets excited about doing daring things. Is almost too enthusiastic about it sometimes

Elemental abilities

Metal elemental: Uses throwing knives infused with magic to fight. Being a metal elemental, she’s able to control their trajectory and can toss them around and have them zip right back to her like boomerangs. She mostly uses these to unbalance enemies and strike them hard enough that they get too dizzy to stand. After she loses her arm, she also utilizes the metal it’s made out of to temporarily transform it into usable weapons.

She’s fine with fighting and is hasty enough to throw herself into battle without thinking, but is fine with peace talks most of the time. 

AND NOW onto how these two cuties meet ;)

If it weren’t obvious by now Emrys is a loner and therefore hates guilds and being associated with them. So naturally, after running into Lacie, he treats her with a lot of attitude and snark, which she retaliates against. After Lacie helps him chase off a couple thugs that he stole stolen goods back from (not the people actually chasing him), she somehow coerces him into the guild for a couple days, and he’s unsettled yet warmed by the friendly atmosphere. Emrys eventually admits he has to stick around town for a while to make some money, so Lacie offers to help him out by going out on official guild missions. Emrys is like I don’t need or want your help and she’s like alright fine then try making money on your own, guild missions pay WAY better and you can’t do one without an official member escort. So he’s like. Jesus fine okay I’ll go on the damn mission with you LOL

They go on a couple missions together and start getting close. Emrys is like oh no this is not what I want so he panics and tries to leave town, but Lacie catches up to him and yells him for leaving without saying anything. Unfortunately during this whole mess the trackers sent to follow Emrys find out where he’s hiding. He and Lacie go out on one last goodbye mission together and they get ambushed. They’re horribly outnumbered and even when Emrys resorts to actually fighting his hardest, Lacie gets terribly injured. Emrys manages to fight off the attackers, getting his hair cut off shorter in the process (which is why it’s shorter and in a cute little half bun in the second pic), but Lacie’s losing so much blood at this point--so he stumbles into the closest building in the closest town and GUESS WHO’S IT IS.

YEAH. IT’S THE ROBO FAM!! (Take note that this is like, 2-3 years after they return from the Mirrorplane themselves, so they’re around 25 at this point.)

Elias and Gifre are enjoying a nice evening prosthetic check date when Emrys stumbles into the mechanic shop, covered in Lacie’s blood, and begs for help before passing out. Both of them go OH SHIT and immediately leap to the rescue. As Elias, Gi-bot, Ava and Ignis (who were called in) work on patching up Lacie’s wounds, Elias realizes that her arm is too far gone to be saved. And this is kind of a sad moment for him since you know. He also lost his arm. So he can relate. Ava’s like you’ll just have to make her the best goddamn prosthetic in the world then and he’s like alright yeah, so they have to remove Lacie’s left arm and it’s. Not pretty.

Emrys wakes up several hours later to find that Gifre treated his wounds. When he asks where Lacie is and Gifre shows him, he immediately breaks down, because she got hurt SO badly because of him and this is why he didn’t want to get close to her in the first place. He laments over dragging her into his mess, and Gifre gives him a nice long Pep Talk, coming from a similar situation with dragging Elias into his personal issues with Python’s Blood. It helps a little, but Gifre can tell Em’s gonna be blaming himself for this for a WHILE (hence the guilt complex comment).

As Lacie recovers and gets used to her new prosthetic (and keeps smacking Emrys whenever he looks guilty about it), the two of them become closer despite Emrys’ attempts not to--but Lacie is stubborn and refuses to let him distance himself. They also get really close and bond a lot with the robo fam, having bunked with them for a while. The main part of the story is just these domesticity moments with the robo fam and their two new dysfunctional houseguests LOL

Eventually Emrys does find Lixin and decides to return to the Mirrorplane to sort things out with his mother, and that brings up a whole bunch of crazy drama, but the robo fam and Lacie come with him (and by that point he’s gone Full Tender and leans on them a lot for support so it’s NICE and CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT), so things get sorted out one way or another. There is a point where he and Lacie have a huge fight because Lacie...finds out something about the Mirrorplane that she does not like, and it nearly shatters her entire relationship with Em, so that’s a big oof. But they get it all sorted out and it’s fine. The reason why their fight hurts even worse is because at this point they’re full on in love with each other but are both too awful at romance to actually say anything. They’re stupid and they can’t communicate and I love them

Yes they end up together because *points at self* I’m a hopeless romantic loser. Lacie becomes a princess of the Mirrorplane which is WEIRD as hell to her but she gets used to it. Also they actually don’t stay there, Emrys hands the kingdom over to his younger sister, who’s always been better at handling royal affairs, and comes back to the regular verse with Lacie to live with her there. They get a house in Spinel Town near the robo fam and LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER THE END

Soooo, for the past two weeks I have been deeply entranced with the otome of Cinderella Phenomenon recommended by my beautiful friend @ladykateofhousebeaumont (thank you queen for having me play this masterpiece, I am blessedddd) and I have many thoughts I need to get out of my system because

Can I start by talking about Lucette’s evolution went because

Home girl went from being the most hated on the land to understanding her toxic behavior through her different suitors and coming to the realization her mom was very toxic and growing from that. Truly, poetic cinema at its finest.

Also hi yes, my favorite character (apart from the suitors which ill talk about in a minute) was Delora. Like you cannot tell me she isn't totally Lucette’s adoptive mother. Like, hi? yes? I need some napkins for my teARS. Delora is the mother figure Lucette never had and Lucette represents the daughter Delora had and Hildyr killed and I just.... ugh, my emotions 

Also, is it bad I lowkey wanted a Garlan route?? lmaooo he was so cute with Jurien and I love me some soft shy boys and asdfghhgfds, like I shipped him with Jurien and all but Garlan I luv you too ;w;

Anyways, the boys, I will comment on them from my least favorite to my most favorite, so bare with my screaming as it will become louder and louder, i’ll also include the highlight of some CGs and a song that reminds me of the pairing because I don't have anything better to do aasdfghjhgfd

Rumpel

Lets start with doctor boi. To be honest when I saw the pictures of the guys in the downloading page I thought my favorites would be Rumpel and Waltz (I mean, I got one of those right lmao) because he wears glasses and home girl loves loves lovessss glasses. Then with his first interaction with Lucette It was very meH to be honest. He is just not my type and I would rather have Rumpel as a friend, although he did gave me quite a couple of laughs when he interacted with Karma lol.

His ending cg is brutal tho, his along Rod’s are the most heartbreaking ending CG’s (even though his ending in of itself wasn't the worst in my opinion because I wasn't too attached to him).

Anyways in short, Rumpel, flirty doctor boi. with good heart even though you roll your eyes at half the things he says xD

Oh boi, baby Boy Fritz. The only reason why Fritz isn't higher is because throughout his route I felt like I don't get to know much about Fritz in of itself but rather Varg, but the little we get to see Fritz I find adorable. He was one of the routes I was most excited on playing because he was adorable in the other routes, always looking out to protect Lucette and he always did <33

And Varg. To be completely honest I kinda liked him at the beginning but not much, the moment I trully fell for him was at the end when he gave up himself to let Fritz be with Lucette. Boooooi that scene where he says Fritz would never deserve her but he still wants her to be happy asdfghj broke me. 

Like in the end even though I liked Fritz and Varg individually a lot, I feel like there wasn't enough time with either to come on higher in the list and thats the only reason why he is number 4, but I still love them very much ;w;

Also like, the good ending?? its like the saddest one?? I mean yeah, they got to be together and what not but my home girl Delora dies?? and Parfait?? no magic? hello? I cried so much? asdfghjkl Truly the most angsty ending by far and I just..... Can they be happy pls? </3

Also as a side note, Fritz was the only route I could get all the positive choices at once without having to reload the files and I feel very proud about that lmao bye

Honestly between Rod and Karma it was a tough choice, and I think I could say they were fairly tie with one another, just putting Karma a little higher because his good ending was one of my favorites and Rod’s was kinda sad (well, I mean, I get it, they are step brothers so they cant be publicly involved but its still sad ;w;).

Y’all know I live for my tsundere characters and Rod did not disappoint. Not only does he have some of the cutest blushing moments (thx Sebby!) but he and Lucette have such a great dynamic! They understand each other and I think Lucette had one of the best developments in his route, understanding Em and getting her good deeds by growing close to her family was such a cool way for her to become a good person, my queen Lucette is everything in this route.

The bad ending is also super sad and the CG was so heartbreaking. To think if only Lucette would have said that he loved him (which she did) at the end to save him asdfghjkl, my feelings.

Honestly I didn't expect to like Karma that much. I mean, he was nice, he looked playful and I liked the teasing dynamic but I did not expect him to end at my #2 at all. But boi was I in for a ride. Once you get to know Karma? understand him and the reasons he is close off? how he truly doesn't consider anyone loving him as an option to break his curse? uh, um, excuse me to say this but, poetic cinema at its f i n e s t.

God and Karma and Lucette’s dynamic, iconic. He teaches her how to open up and live life, be happy, while she helps him realize he is much more than his looks and how he fell for his personality, god I love them.

Also the good ending was one of my favorites, they were just so comfortable with each other and I cant wait to see their dynamic with their family, its gonna be awesome. His bad ending was in my opinion, one of the worst too. Dying thinking the girl he loves never truly got to love him and see past the beast and just when she realizes he is holding the rose thing that he is Karma and she killed him? brutal

What’s there not to love about Waltz?? he is not only a cute boy who is in love with her best friend, her only family left, and taught her how to become the good kind hearted person he knew she was deep on the inside but he would also give it all for her happiness?? they protect each other?? powerful witch couple?? uh por favorrr

His bad ending broke me, thinking his conscious is ruined thanks to Hildyr and watching the girl he loves become basically a puppet? heartless. And his good ending, their dynamic, everything everything I love Waltz and everyone should know it.

THAT COCROACH OF A SHIP NEEDS TO DIE (no offence to their shippers and other remakes of their ship bc I actually ship some of them but I just cannot deal with these two together. I feel like in order for them to get better they need time to be separate away from each other.

favorite episode: my mind is blank of episode titles rn but I think either the episode with Grace x Daniel’s first kiss or the episode after that.

saddest death: No deaths thank goodness. So much angst already I’m glad we don’t deal with that. 

favorite season: S2 by far. There really isn’t any contest.. I mean I actually liked s1 unlike most of the fandom, but s2 was always my fave season in og and other remakes anyways along with s3. And I really loved this season.

least favorite season: S1. There’s only been two seasons in this remake but still.

character that everyone else in the fandom loves, but i hate: Used to be Tyler bc he was just too mean imo (I did love how he’s protective of Shay tho) but now with that last scene with him and Grace and reading his inner deeps thoughts in his messages with Grace (I’m still shook that Tyler being Green Nail Polish Girl theory was confirmed) I can’t help but love him. I’ve officially adopted him now like most of the Skam Austin characters. But atm I don’t think I have one. 

my ‘you’re piece of trash, but you’re still a fave’ fave: hmmm well the great thing about Skam is that is shows basically everyone is deeply flawed and can make big mistakes that sometimes  can be ‘trashy’. But I’d say Daniel and PenJo mostly in s1 (they literally started as f*ckboys) and some moments in s2. I still love them (especially my son Daniel) with my whole heart tho and now they are Softbois.

my ‘beautiful cinnamon roll who deserves better than this’ fave: Grace, Shay, Kelsey, & Zoya.

my ‘this ship is wrong, nasty, and makes me want to cleanse my soul, but i still love it’ ship: I don’t really have one here but I guess maybe Shay/Megan bc of the shit that went down this season. It’d more than likely be better to have Amaerican!Even not be Megan bc of all that mess and I’m excited to see her and Shay’s love story but I still have a soft spot for Shay/Megan.

Fae!Bitties Informative

Hi guys :)

I know some maybe still waiting for moment when I release new Fae!Bitty called "Mystery Glitch" and well...I still work on him >3< sorry :'< I'm slow.

Otherwise I decided to write here more info about my Fairy bitties :3 so...Here we go :D

Wings

Each Fairy has see through wings with unique patterns.

Those patterns are actually veins that allows magical energy to flow through, giving strength and nutrients to them making them sparkle

!They are fragile! When bend wrongly they can heal and work fine if with little bit of strain. When portion of wing is ripped or even scratched then they don't heal completely but can still fly, using spider silk to do lil "repairing" but sadly they never really regrow back to its original glory. BUT when bigger portion of wing is ripped that it afect the main vein or even completely plugged from Fairys back they never heal or regrow. Making them unable to ever fly on their own.

Wingless fairies or just fairies forever bond to stay on ground can easily have deep depressions and when not treated...they can become self damaging, refusing to eat, be more terrified of everything (when flying they had escape route everytime on foot they're more vulnerable) and in the end they can succumb to eternal sleep, falling down

When wings are detached they stop being see through even sparklers turn to dusty coating.

In other words Wings are really important for Fairies. Even more that other limbs. When they lose hand or leg they can make natural prosthetics or just live without said limb but when wings are damaged they lose more of their freedom and it has deeper effects on their mindset

Scratches

They LOVE scratches on their back. To be precise right between their shoulder blades/ wings. But because of how close to their wings it is and it's hard for them to scratch themselves on their own they don't get enough of it. So when they have careful owner/mama/papa who knows how to scratch them~ well~ each of them react differently XD

Dreamie

Because of their grumpy personality during day time their reaction is one of the cutest one :3 the moment u started ur scratching their grumpy self melt away turning them into sleepy lil motorbikes~♡ their purring is loud and when u continue to the moment they fell asleep then u'll be unable to wake them up till last sunlight disappears behind the horizon. U'll be even unable to pry them of anything they got ahold of in their sleep because of their iron grip XD

Sing Song

Because of their hyperactive personality they try to lean into the touch and get deeper and quicker scratches just so they can try and return the favour to u too. They just have too much to do to enjoy long procedure ;)

Sweetie

Their soft spoken personality makes even their reaction gentle :) the moment u start scratching they hug the closest thing to them (most of the time its fingers of ur other hand) and start making soft murmuring noises~

Faun

Ironically Fauns are the sensitive ones so when scratched they occasionally moan between purrs, lulling them to sleep and making their dream 18+ too XD

Mystery Glitch

Mysteries are more skittish when it comes to scratches because they're afraid ur gonna hur their wings. But when trust is gained then these lil guys reacts similarly to Dreamies. Loud purring sleepy blissfull expression BUT instead of fallin asleep like Dreamies they do kitten motions with their hands (kneading kitten motion)

Diet

They're all Vegetarian. Some are capable to eat meat but they still prefer veggies ower steak because of how closer to nature they are.

Heats

Most of them have both types of heats (submissive and dominant) only Sweeties have one type more often (Sub). In this season they search for comfort and even try to do mating dances to find perfect partners. They don't stay only on one partner because of their need for assuring their reproduction and also to assure their offsprings have more than one or two protectors. In other words Fairies are open to polygamy/ open relationships.

Also...big portion of Fairies are actually gender fluid they sometimes refers to themselves as females or males which is also reason why they can have both types of heat (Sweeties tho even with having mostly sub heat can refer to themselves as males too.)

Extra

Because of how nature oriented Fae!bitties are they don't really need to stay at adoption centre but can actually live in wild, searching for their owners in their own ways :)

When they have owner they live with them, helping and occasionally wandering out to find nice things to bring back as presents.

Those that decided to live at centre and wait for their owners to come for them likes to live in greenhouse and refuse to live in main house centre even if weather is unfortunate.

k so some ns headcanon as requested by @spaceygayroses​

i pulled them from my long-as-fuck (like 700 chapters long) google doc but almost every one of those is like..... paragraphs long!! so i chose shorter ones!!

.....surprising to absolutely no one, i have no self-control when it comes to these two

a ) When naruto met sakura

b ) A mere few, fast weeks into dating, they have a discussion in the early evening about telling friends and family, and they agree to do it the next day. After finally coming up for air during their celebratory makeout session, she tries to shove him out the door to get on with their evening plans, she having to go to work. Deep down she’s amused that as she keeps ending kisses and pulling away, he keeps dazedly following after her with his mouth, not even opening his eyes. She gets persuaded back into it a few times. when a neighbor’s door slams she’s knocked out of their reverie and tells him to stop being a giddy schmuck and go! and laughs as he exaggeratedly swoons down the hallway of her apartment complex (well, she thinks he’s purposefully exaggerating, but he’s not, he’s authentically that mushy / dramatic) At like 1am she wakes up to boisterous noise outside and goes to her balcony to find naruto and kiba and shikamaru, all pretty inebriated tho actually the latter two more so than the former (he’s just using inebriation as a cover), and naruto’s standing on the gate at the edge of the little apartment yards singing songs he’s making up as he goes about how happy he is, crowing about dating his precious sakura-chan. She leans over the edge of the balcony and starts shaking her fist at him and scolding them and he just does the will smith pose and motions to her and shouts at kiba and shikamaru “DO YOU SEE HER!! HAVE YOU EVER MET MY GIRLFRIEND!!!” and they are just guffawing. Sakura hisses “naruto!! My neighbors!!” and he slurs, “awwww fuck ‘em!! One of ‘em slamming their door’s why i’m down here instead of up there loving you! I saved their asses, so they can just deal with me appreciating yours!!” and she just goes “YOU ARE.. SUCH A DUMB. ASS.” “yeah, but i get to be YOUR dumbass!!” “......I’m coming down to get you before Kakashi sics ANBU on you” and they all fully expect he’s done for as they watch her march out the stairwell resolutely, her speed increasing, but then she smiles while she jumps the gate even tho it’s not that tall and hops onto him, her legs around his waist, his hands supporting her under her thighs, and they alternate between laughing giddily and kissing

c ) they get married a month or so after his inauguration, which means HE’S the hokage that legalizes the marriage papers with his signature. and i just like to think… perhaps naruto is still his usual emotional self during the ceremony and does cry in happiness a bit during their vows… but he gets super sappy / sobby when alone in his office and signing the marriage papers as hokage. that’s…. that’s embodying both of his oldest dreams IN ONE MOMENT.

d ) they adopt twice, their first and last kids (of five): first is Arashi, last is Namika -- both names that reference Minato. Arashi asked them to rename him; he was six-ish when they adopted him. Namika’s name referencing Minato actually happens to be coincidence. she’s Shinachiku’s classmate and her parents are killed shortly after they graduate the academy :’( they give her a place to stay and it turns into adoption.

Arashi was shy and quiet with most people. he makes Naruto think of both Minato and Sasuke. Arashi was intimidated by Sasuke at first, but they become real close. Kurama loves Arashi bc he’s clever as fuck and adores studying history. Arashi has insecure attachments and is distrustful/distant for a while but when he’s older becomes a natural leader of his peers (tho sometimes even then can still seem distant). he has a very strong sense of justice like his parents. 

Namika is the perfect blend of chill and motivated. she’s so chill she gets along with all of the siblings. in fact she’s the only one without problems with anybody: shinachiku and sakuya butt heads, and arashi and konohana go at it all the time. while those four are shoved into get-along shirts naruto and sakura cuddle namika really exaggeratedly and joke about the exhausting nature of her siblings

e ) the kiddos kiss kurama good morning (naruto’s tummy)

f ) predictably, he takes every chance he gets to kiss sakura’s forehead, particularly right on her seal (he likes to kid around about her seal and say “sakura-chan, geez, you went through all that trouble training just for this tiny little target for my kiss”). she’s a little bashful, or kinda harumphs when he does it in public or when she’s miffed at him. then their kids notice, first realized by one of the youngest ones, and start copying him, as kids do: learning by imitating their parents. from there on out she’s often in tears or very near tears when they do this.

g ) it’s affection like this that grips her heart with gratefulness to be with him. he is continuously providing all she needs for her insecurities to be soothed and her dreams to be encouraged. these expressions of love are so deeply tailored to how he can best adore all that makes her, her. she sometimes can't believe how every expression of his love is permeated with his intense understanding of who she is, what she wants, often in ways so breathtakingly simple, honest and ingenuous that she wonders if he even consciously realizes the perfect appropriateness of his gestures.

h ) They are constantly hiding ink & brushes & markers from their youngest children bc in addition to mimicking forehead kisses, they’re constantly drawing on each other’s faces to give each other mommy’s “sparkle beauty sticker” and daddy’s “fox-marks” … which…. Unfortunately sometimes they pronounce as “fucks-marks” and naruto kinda…. Shrugs and makes a face like he’s conceding they might have a point (as in marks that once “fucked over” village approval of him)…. sakura’s horrified But she still laughs really hard when he starts calling any scratches he receives from their lovemaking “fucks-marks”

i ) if anyone makes the mistake of saying something particularly negative or abhorrent about naruto in front of her, especially if they’re insulting his suitability as hokage, she’s so incensed she can’t guarantee they’re gonna live to regret it. ...ok, sooo… she can’t and doesn’t actually maim or kill a fellow konoha citizen or any stuck-up diplomats... but damn is the confrontation and reprimand so scary; it’s like she flays their soul so deeply they have no shreds with which to hide their worst sins, guaranteeing no god would ever allow them into any heaven.

j ) naruto has to excuse himself every time sakura takes her gloves off with her teeth

k ) she loves to wash and pamper him. she doesn’t have an explanation for it, really. it can be but doesn’t always become sexual, but of course it’s always intimate. it’s not like a critique on him, finding him too dirty or something (he’s dirty, but usually in the ways she likes), she just really enjoys this avenue for expressing her affection. she likes preparing relaxing baths for him, or shampooing and rinsing his hair. she likes running her hands along his muscles, rubbing oils and lotions into his skin. she even likes to give him gentle little facial treatments if he’s in the mood to let her. (spoiler alert: he’s practically always in the mood to let her.)

l )  this vision came to me on a drive home form work: sakura on her period and being pretty damn miserable as far as cramping went. And she like…  has her arm over her eyes as she’s laying on her back on the bed and bemoaning her situation; she laments that she left her heat pack somewhere or let someone borrow it or something. So naruto just… takes his shirt off and gingerly lays across her, so they’re perpendicular with his stomach resting on hers. And she’s just like “what on earth are you doing” and he nonchalantly replies, “eh… I run hot. I’ll be your heating pad, Sakura-chan ♥”-- .. is… is there like, evidence the kyuubi chakra can make his temperature warm even if he’s not using it to fight?? Idk. either that or he just really does run hot, which makes sense because he is made of sunshine after all. “holy hell it actually helps. The heat along with the pressure” “yep I’m good for hot pressure” he winks at her and she rolls her eyes but is blushing. and so he just… provides his services pretty regularly from that point on. When this popped into my head I laughed for a full three minutes

m ) they both look young for a very long time, much to sooooo many people’s jealous chagrin. this is not bc I don’t like older features on them or want them to be ~~ooh~~~awww~~always the typical version of hotness~~~ it’s bc I legitimately think they both would appear youthful for longer than others bc of their chakra stores, etc. sakura’s would not be as intentional as tsunade’s, but it would still be an obvious side effect, and naruto is, well, naruto: I bet his uzumaki longevity is boosted by the demon chakra… plus his entire soul is youthful tbh

n ) they regularly visit orphanages together, bearing gifts and stories and their kind companionship. it amazes villagers-- how much their hokage and their head medic-nin, love their people. later in life they foster kids. (oh-- they had fostered two before immediately afterward fostering then adopting arashi)

o ) their first kiss is at Ichiraku’s (this hc is one’o those written in paragraphs but this is... the succinct version lmao)

p ) sakura finds the ring. she proposes. he’s so relieved and elated when she does especially because she isn’t mad he delayed (she actually is never harping him about it or lamenting/venting to her friends that they’re not engaged). she goes the grand scale public route. it’s a little unlike her, but she wants to reinforce in his mind and heart that she absolutely wants him, and wants the world to know it

q ) one of their really big fights happens when sakura is nominated as a hokage candidate. (this is also long paragraphs in the doc but i’ll try to summarize askjdlkj; -- update: i DID shorten it even tho it doesn’t seem it alskfjlaks)

she surpasses tsunade in every way: she fucking attains sage mode via wood style because why the hell wouldn’t she kishimoto??? (and i don’t CARE if people are poking holes in this, I will patch them up! let her be amazing--in other words let her be HER and the HEROINE she’s always been evolving into! why be a wet blanket when you can love women in manga? Tim Gunn voice: MAKE IT WORK!) (alsooo you know what I went and re-read this and it dawned on me this person wrote “should have,” not necessarily that she could one day develop this ability post-actual-canon. So I guess the headcanon is that Kishimoto liked women / her and gave her this arc from the beginning and all the details required to necessitate this development were actually present in the story). everyone admires the skills she’s exhibited running the hospital, and because she’s a war hero who is constantly at a major hospital and cures/saves people on the daily -- basically communicating that saving and protecting others is her life’s work -- a lot of citizens know her and really like and respect her... other reasons, etc., moving along tho-- 

naruto never thought his dream could ever be threatened or usurped by one of his most fierce and steadfast supporters. but…. He really loves her. And he’s so proud of her. And so he seriously considers refusing it if they choose him, so it would likely fall to her, or just flat-out taking his name out of the running so it’s not even a choice. It is in part self-sacrifice, but not merely; he respects her; reveres her strength and leadership; agrees she’s been indispensable and reliable for so long, and has worked so hard...  and, geez, he often thought HE was an underdog?? His life’s been no picnic, he’s worked incredibly fucking hard to get through things and evolve to his current station... but, well… his future wife has overcome so much to gain her status and prove herself, too, with as much effort as him, and while she did have teachers on the same level as him, she performed all her heroism with signiiiificantlllyyy less prophetic/demon/bloodline inertia to get her here (and by less we facetiously mean: none).

she’s pissed he’d even consider walking away from this goal. he tries to explain, “sakura. you’ve been my dream, too, for just as long.” it takes an emotional night -- mostly with her pleading for him to understand that she doesn’t want him to and is so sorry she’s ever made him feel like martyring himself is the only way to get her to acknowledge his devotion -- to settle it all. but yeah. he becomes hokage. a GOOD hokage.

r ) i love the idea of kurama just one day smugly bringing to their attention their shared connection to mito (i hc that mito developed the seal technique tsunade and sakura have) “naruto? what’s he saying? what does he mean?” “well, uh… y’know how baachan’s uzumaki mito’s granddaughter? and mito was kurama’s jinchuuriki before my mom? uh… what he’s saying is… mito developed the byakugou by accessing some of his chakra. so… that means…” and she finishes: “we’re both… kind of mito’s disciples?” “thanks ultimately to kurama’s chakra.. and.. being uzumaki...” he says somewhat blankly. and her brows shoot up as a sort of wry smile twitches on her lips, which then turns into a genuine grin. she looks at him with love in her eyes and repeats tenderly, “being uzumaki…” kurama immediately kinda regrets his decision to share this fact when they’re gonna be such sappy nerds about it

s) from my 1sentence challenge but it doubles as a hc: When he opened the door to their cozy apartment he saw her on the living room rug -- knees at a silly angle with fabric draped over her thighs, repeating the motion of her hand moving toward it, then away -- and when he got closer the red thread seemed to glimmer a greeting, her engagement ring winking in tandem, while she lovingly stitched the characters of his destiny onto the new haori.

..........i thought about stopping at n.... and then i decided i needed to get from n to s ;) (i’m embarrassing, i know, it’s ok, i’ve come to terms with it)

LAITO:

My first exposure to dialovers was the anime so my first impression towards Laito was like “oh, he’s the flirty one - oh shit he’s banging her in a church, you cant do that, thats nuts lol” but as I got more into the games, Laito became SO IMPORTANT TO ME??? especially like his relationships, w/ ALL the characters like his brothers and yui and the other families and everything! I especially love learning more about his relationship with Ayato and Kanato because it’s so dang complex. His feelings towards his triplet bros is really complicated because he loves them and you know he loves them but his trauma w/ his mom sort of fucks it all up so he’s got like this genuinely nice and kind and loving personality fighting against this trauma and warped view of the concepts of love and family that Cordelia gave him, and what you get is, “I love my family and I hope they die” and throughout the games u learn more about the reasons why he has those world views and it’s SO GOOD Laito is such a well thought-out character!?! As a writer Laito delights me but as a fan, his whole deal makes me so dang sad djhfghjdkdfd

That’s why I was so fucking satisfied w/ Laito in the Laito vs Shin cd because you got a bunch of the darker stuff surrounding him (his tendency to push people off of buildings, that FUCKING VOICE DROP he does when he’s genuinely mad) and Laito was like...he was SCARY. And he was scaring YUI and he was scaring HIMSELF, too, which made me so sad!! Laito was like crying and punching walls and being like “why am I acting like this??” and it fuckin broke my heart dude. He’s a genuinely good person, he’s so wonderful, but he’s recovering from some really really nasty stuff. So that cd really gave me a sense of like, “Man, Laito hates this just as much as I do.” It makes me want to...idk...it makes me want to give him more opportunities to be good. He really is good!!!

KANATO:

As for my first impression, I think Kanato turned me off right away because I could instantly recognize all the tropes they were gonna use when they were designing him. You can look at him and tell that he’s gonna be the ~yandere~ character (I hate using that word but u know what tropes I’m talking about). As soon as they showed him eating a bunch of sweets I was like “yep.” When they showed us his room full of wax dolls, I was like “uh huh, that seems about right.” And then he yelled a lot and tried to stab Yui for making him french toast or whatever and I was like “ok.........I’ll go start ayato’s route” u know??? just super not my type, and the Kanato vs Azusa cd was torture because Azusa’s so soft-spoken but Kanato’s always yelling at the top of his lungs. I had to keep messing with the volume and it bugged me.

I think I would like Kanato a lot more if he...had a...friend. I think rejet kinda realized that he needed one and they had that in mind when they were introducing Azusa, but that ended up being a pretty bad failure I think. Kanato doesn’t really get along with anyone and he’s pretty open about admitting that he doesn’t like anyone particularly well. I’m glad to see him starting to love Yui genuinely but...idk I feel like every other diaboy has another diaboy(s) that he gets along with really well and it’s always nice to see them acting friendly and even encouraging each other sometimes! Kanato doesn’t really have that kind of relationship with anyone. When Ayato tried to reach out and apologize in LE, Kanato was like “lol kill yourself” and I was actually so fuckin mad at him, I was like “boy if you don’t fix that attitude of yours-”..........I guess I just wish that he had more character development by this point. That scene really hurt.

RUKI:

Basically the WORST first impression ever...my first Ruki scene that I ever saw was when he broke the cat’s neck and I was so pissed. I was like “immediately fuck this guy” and he became my least favorite character right away. And on top of that he was really elitist and one of those jerk intellectuals “ohhh solve this puzzle or STAY OUT THERE IN THE COLD you big dumb idiot. im smart and you’re not” and I was like FUCK this guy, how does yuma put up with him with HIS backstory?

But I hella warmed up to him during MB, like especially during Reiji’s route where Ruki was like “...uh...okay” the whole time jhdghdj that shit was hilarious. Ruki started feeling really real. And I think that like...hm...like if Laito is a genuinely good person surrounded by bad influence, Ruki is the opposite - he’s a bad personality surrounded by good influence. Ruki’s a jerk and he’s been a jerk his whole life but he has these wonderful brothers who love him so much and this lovely angel Yui and he’s just got all these good people who look up to him and he has to be good. This little asshole kid who treated all his servants like shit is now cooking dinner for his three adoptive brothers every day and they love him so much and they love him so much. It’s so fucking satisfying. I love seeing him supporting his brothers even though it conflicts with his personality and his main drive, like letting Kou run away with Yui even though Kou couldn’t become Adam. Ruki’s most important thing in MB was making one of the Mukamis become Adam but he gave that up to let Kou be happy. That shit is so important. Ruki was such a fuckin turnaround for me, I hated him at first but now I love the hell out of him and what he represents for the Mukamis.

KOU:

Kou is great!! I think he’s affected lots of characters in really positive ways, and he’s been affected in positive ways by different characters and it’s really nice to see. For sure he’s still got that trauma from his past but I really appreciate that Kou is in an environment that doesn’t have a lot of reminders of the bad stuff from his childhood. Like, how Kou was sought after for being such a beautiful child, and how he was trapped in a dark place for such a long time. There’s none of that shit when he lives with the Mukamis. Rejet could’ve easily put in tons of haunting reminders about Kou’s whole “too beautiful for his own good” thing but whenever he gets complimented, it’s usually for something different. Azusa will talk about how talented and amazing he is, and Kino’ll be like “idol clothes are pretty nuts huh? lol” and Ruki will be like “you’re working properly after all” and I fuckin love that shit...They could’ve made it so dang hard for Kou, but no, he’s in a much happier place now. He’s nice and comfortable being with these people. That makes me feel relieved lol

And then you keep seeing nice little reminders that they’re friends in other games, like in either LP or VC (Im sorry I literally cannot tell these two games apart) they were picking out hair accessories together for Yui, and in the Subaru vs Kou cd, Kou asks Subaru at the end if he had fun, and in LE Kou gave Subaru that pep talk and made Subaru laugh, and Subaru was like “Kou if I’m gonna die then I want you to kill me” and Kou was like “But I don’t want you to die!” and Subaru was like “you dont??? you actually care? about ME???” ITS SO FUCKING GOOD DUDE Subaru needed Kou so badly. It was weird like...I was so mad at him during certain routes but I could never actually dislike him. It’s because he’s so dang funny tbh. He literally killed some of my favorite characters but then he would say a funny line and I’d be like “haha, I’m glad kino is here!” like it’s almost scary how charismatic he is towards both the other characters and to me, the player. He asked nicely if he could kill Shu and Shu was like “ok, sure.” Kino is hands down my fav villain because of this. Especially because you can really tell that deep down he wants to be a real member of the Sakamaki family and like he genuinely wants to be friends with people like Yuma and Kou, and he’s got the whole villain-turned-awkward-family-member trope which I LOVE. Like especially in that drama cd where he was like “I never get to go to school so I want to do home ec with you guys! Let’s make donuts!” and Kou was like “ok!!!” and kou tries to be super positive and encouraging the whole time even though Kino was actually secretly plotting to blow the place up. Kino looks like an idiot but he’s a genius tbh

I was really mad at him for his actions in DF mostly ^^; And tbh it’s really hypocritical because it was a group effort between both of the Tsukinamis, but I ended up loving Shin and hating Carla. Kino also did similar bad stuff to Carla, but I ended up loving him while hating Carla. So, why?

Well here’s fuckin why. Shin and Kino are cute & funny. They have their nice little payoff moments - maybe Shin hurt one of my favorite characters, but then you get to see how bubbly and energetic he gets around his big brother. He was walking one of his wolves around christmas time while wearing a red jacket and a random kid approached him thinking he was santa claus. That’s adorable! For a long time, Carla didn’t have anything like that. And he was a jerk to absolutely everyone, including Shin, who was so dang devoted to him!! instead of trying to get out of the funk, i recognized it was okay to record my observations mentally and rather than write to share them, enjoy them and just be. 

to get lost in the moments.

without the stress of keeping up with a discipline (writing) i’d spent all last year trying to develop.

stem my fear of being a mommy.

this fear, i've always instead portrayed in a way that would build me up to look like a R O C K S T A R woman that is driven + motivated to make a difference... but with tunnel vision around the healthcare industry and my career.

really though,

i’m scared. 

i always have been.

what am i scared of and why?

1) 24+ years ago when i was diagnosed with type I diabetes, there were limitations to having a healthy pregnancy while living with T1D. 

i learned about this as i learned about how to treat my symptoms and live my life.

...and as i learned about how to set expectations.

for myself.

and for others.

while i’ve been very atune to prove that i am limitless (thanks, God!) when it comes to living with my disease, this stipulation from years ago left a hole in my heart that forced me to fill it with other tangible things.

like choosing to plan my career over even acting like i wanted to plan to have kids one day.

“...because if it’s too complicated for me to become a ROCKSTAR mommy one day, i may as well choose to do something that will make a difference some other way,” i told myself.

2)  now that i've launched my career, i have to focus to make the impact i want to make. 

my goals.

my vision.

...not His goals.

or His vision.

i will either be inadequate at being a mom.

or inadequate at doing my life’s work.

i won’t be efficient enough.

and i’ll take too long.

and now, as I type this, i think to myself,

“who am i to say that THIS IS my life’s work?!”

“what if i’m called to do something different?!”

how do we even begin to figure this out?

3) even if, one day we do have a child, foster a child, or adopt a child, we will be irrelevant at that point and the family won’t care.

this really is a deep rooted fear that i KNOW is silly.

it’s a lie i've been fed by the enemy.

it’s one i've continued to believe because of my experience- with my family and fears that were perpetuated during the darkness of my life in 2017.

again, not HIS experience.

my own.

i felt challenged and pulled to step out of my comfort zone with this, and to share in mission work with nick.

we started seeking ways to give back and test out the waters of parenting when we were blessed with an opportunity with Matvey this summer.

the chance to LOVE someone who didn’t expect it gave me so much joy!

so much that i wanted to share it with others, especially family.

we made this announcement around Christmas last year, but it seemed like no one cared.

again. lies.

there were no questions about our decision.

where it came from.

why we’d chosen this route.

what our plans were.

nothing.

instead, they asked my brother and sister-in-law about when they would have children.

the lies perpetuated jealousy and the yearning for affirmation from family.

and not once did i get it.

have you ever done the right things, only to seek affirmation from the wrong people, like i have just shared?

it’s difficult.

but it happens almost daily, right?

approval syndrome is something our culture thrives on.

he can translate and speak some English and has averaged learning one new word per day by watching us point and listening.

...and he’s taught me way more to life than i ever thought possible in just 2 short weeks with him.

he’s taught me that i can have awkward hands and still be a good mommy... because i have a husband that will fill the gaps and teach me along the way.

he’s taught me that i can pursue my dream career and embark on the journey of mommy-hood...and be a ROCKSTAR at them both. 

he’s taught me that i may not ever be ready, but that i must remain steadfast in my faith and “go” when i’m called to.

he’s taught me that people may say things sometimes because there is deep-rooted hurt in their own hearts.

...that they don’t mean it to hurt me... and that i can use these situations to LOVEbigger with them by finding out how they need love...then share it with them.

he’s taught me how to play legos.

and soccer [i was never a soccer player!].

and how to use our own leaf blower.

how to fold and organize my clothes. [he’s REAL particular!]

how to wash the dishes. [he likes to help and doesn’t believe in dishwashers!]

...and that learning how to swim requires two things only:

1) lots of courage

2) and resilience

in just T W O - W E E K S, this boy has changed my perspective on what it means to sacrificially love another human.

not for any return or credit.

but to LOVEbigger, so that he may heal while he’s here...and so that i can heal, too.

(I can only assume since Mercedes/Ingrid are expected to be married off, Annette I don’t read too much of her but I don’t think she ever takes over her uncles land, and every other noble girl I don’t think takes over their family name either) so I assume women have it rough. Whose to blame her for wanting a relaxed life, she’s lived through a lot before the game starts. She also has a connection to Manuela which is fun. Dorthea’s first or second line of losing her undershirt doesn’t really her for the fan service thing, but she talks about her worries of war and fighting wondering what the hell she got into joining this school. I really liked her paralpug with Ingrid because she’s got some interesting friendships supports (with Edelgard too and Petra) Bernie I guess too. Yeah the plot would be the same if she was in the game or not but that’s a majority of the cast.

I liked Edelgard the same reason I like sonic adventure 2. You get to see the villian for a majority of the routes of the game and think wow she’s kinda like Shadow there hedgehog. She was forced in the some pretty grim situations and now is still being used. However she’s fighting for her own ideals. Now remember I skimmed the game because I’m not gonna get too deep in something when I have other things going on in my life. I don’t care if she’s a hundred percent right or wrong it’s not real life. She got experimented on her whole childhood and people though she had any sort of power before going to school. From what I understand Edelgard a grudge towards the church puts too much pressure on nobles having crests because the dragon people are the reason for crests? I don’t know I don’t care Edelgard’s got enough charm to charm me into her schemes. She genuinely like Byleth, wants to impress them, and is a little socially awkward but pushing through it. Her character seems real/likable even though the game developers didn’t put much thought in her route, that all went to Blue Lions. She wants to impress Byleth constantly because she doesn’t know what it’s like having friends because Huebert was kinda forced to be her friend. She wants to tear apart outdated traditions and even though she’s apart of it she’s gonna take the lead, and willing to leave her role as emperor once the war is done. She has a right to be pissed and even though her war gets a lot of fictional people killed, this conflict would boil over one way or another. The western church revolts, I bet more people are sick of Rhea than the game leads on, Edelgard had the guts to revolt and had an army prepared. I know a lot a people are like “boohoo she lost 11 siblings” but she probably knew there were more people affected, considering she meets Lythesia and her family was heavily affected by that. She can only speak on the behalf of her dead siblings tho. Yeah there was a problem with their society, but she didn’t make that problem the main thing, it was the church’s leadership she also had a issue with. The church basically rules over the land but not much is done. Edelgard gets to see Sylavains family disown their older son for not having a crest, Mercedes adopted and hopes to marry rich because she has a crest, lythesia and her family tragedy for CRESt drama, Marianne and Mercedes having basically the same thing, crests crests crests them and the church are the enemies. Lowkey theory so quick. Since the empire is the first country of Serios got its divine name from Sothis or Rhea I bet only the royal empire family knew the church turned into dragons in theory. She’s got backstory, she’s got her morals, she’s a complete character. Dimitri has backstory but loses his mind for awhile. I love Claude, but we don’t know much of his backstory and the game developers keep sprinkling new things after the games release (the name drop) Yuri I don’t much about

Caspar I’m just learning to like, after a couple routes. Yeah I thought it was funny when he flat out said he didn’t like Edelgard. I don’t know if he’s stronger in other routes (plot wise) because in Blue lions his aunt sneaks in the ranks and he doesn’t do much. He does have a convo with Randolph if he faces him. I get he gets a paralpug with Mercedes if he is in another route but I don’t know how it helps him plot wise. You kill the death knight but I still don’t know death knights complete importance yet (yeah he’s Mercedes brother) I don’t expect everyone to love Edelgard even her own class you know like real life. Idk if other schools have that but most people don’t really care about their class president/class rep. You’re allowed to oraganize events but so help me god if you ask me to put more team spirit In I will tell you to back off, you know that kinda relationship. I like Caspar cause he’s funny when I give his supports a chance.

Yes Petra is a prisoner of war so the situation gotta suck, and a main reason she asks Brigid to help the empire is to probably get the country’s freedom...and at the end doesn’t it? I lowkey forget. Yeah it sucks, but Edelgard’s evil uncle is more or less running the country and when Edelgard takes power Shes got a war to focus on and probably needs Brigid’s help so free their country/hostages isn’t her biggest concern. Ferdinas tells Petra she can go home if she wants before the war offically starts, but Petra does wanna stay and fight. I like that she has the outsider perspective because if they only had one other country not ruled by the church it’d be weird. She’s a strong unit to use. It seems like the other BE house treats her fairly well and she doesn’t seem to be super depressed or isolated considering the hard challanges she’s facing before the start of the game. She’s a nice fun strong character.

Other than the lords, the lords have 2 people, a retainer/no official retainer (Hilda) and a noble that opposes the lord (Lornz, Felix, Ferdinand)

Hubert evil vampire man who sometimes listen to Edelgard it’s realistic. You think great leaders have everyone listening to them all the time, you’re hella wrong, the people the leader works with will oppose leader ideas and do what they find best. It happens all the time. Just look at managers and assistant managers, they tell you two different things all the time. But he still does like and respect Edelgard. Even though his support with Byleth is mainly Edelgard based his other supports make fun of him for being so creepy looking so that’s fun. He’s like a toned down Tharja, yeah he still kills people but he’s got a couple more topic to talk about.

Ferdinand has a complicated relationship to Edlegard which is interesting. Before she declares war he wants to be better than her in every way and she lowkey beats him. He believes in the nobility while she’s plotting against it, but knows Ferdinand has the merit. If he stays with the empire he wants to see the world be based on merit, and wants to be better than Edelgard but by her side. If he leaves it’s because his father who was involed with experimenting on children and didn’t something during a revolt of Hrem? Gets kicked out the empire and later killed. He didn’t know the dark past of his father and probably didn’t get the chance to learn. The way I see Ferdinand is that whether he learns about his father influences whether he stays or not, because I bet Edelgard explains to him secretly why his father would oppose Edelgard becoming emperor . He’s a bright ray of sunshine that updates his values throughout some supports and that’s what happens when you grow up. You find out your parents may have done some messed up things and change yourself based on that sometimes. I saw Edelgard and Ferdinand as two neighborhood kids who use to hate each other, then they grow apart and one wants to keep the relationship going so they keep the rivalry going on, but then joins them on the bigger and better things together.

You’re right their relationships aren’t believable before the time at school but given time they spend at school yeah I see it. Petra makes the best out of a bad situation, the nobles would wanna know why Dorthea doesn’t like them so much but wants to marry them. Caspar acts like a majority of people I know and they have friends but ain’t afraid to say F off I’m busy. Hubert gets to be a vampire and has freedom to be his own person while being Edelgard’s retainer. Ferdinand relationship with Edelgard is believeable to me, I’ve had different experiences than you. Linhart and Bernie, didn’t really listen to much what they had to say, just wanted to play some maps at that point.

The writers didn’t really make Byleth helpful, and if I was truly Byleth I would have been like “you know what go and try to kill a heavily guarded emperor I don’t care anymore even parts of your country is pretending you’re dead” because christ it was hard listening to that for like 4-6chapters. I still don’t completely understand the Duscur stuff, did war break out when the king and queen were killed in the land of Duscur, the queen planned it but still got killed and then war broke out and they sent the traumatized prince/king to go fight in it and watch his friend Glen die? He was like 10 when the war happened? Like I know he’s suffering but his character really went from I’m a nice young man with morals and can be easily tricked to murder is the only thing on the brain. Byleth didn’t really have many dialoug choices to deal with Dimitri. I know he’s unhinged but I would have lost faith to re hinge him and let what happens happen.

He snaps back after Felix’s dad dies and tells him some stuff and then gets stabbed by Flèche. I didn’t really care because I didn’t know Dimitri was gonna to have a new emotions and at that point I just wanted it finished.

Tbh the writers probably didn’t put much effort into Edelgard route and all their brain power went to BL. BL everyone knew each other before school started. Mercedes and Annette (lowkey Lornz in that group too) Ingrid, Felix, Sylvain, and Dimitri and Dedue. Ashe is the only odd ball out. And two BL characters get plot relevant chapters not just paralpugs, so the writers were really trying hard for BL

BE most of the nobles of that house probably all heard each other’s names mostly once of twice but didn’t really interact before that. The route is shorter than BL by like 6 chapters I think (BE was like 18 and BL was 24?? I think) so the writers probably weren’t thinking what they were putting down when making the route because be real here they were looking for money but to me their characters were more interesting.

Short answer I liked BE the most because I liked the lord and most of the house. Yeah the writing wasn’t the best, but I can enjoy it for what it was.
