Myself and @miguel-manbemel were talking about the livestream that aired on the YouTube membership after Learning New Things About Ourselves and Thomas and Joan had mentioned in it that they were thinking about posting the footage of Thomas acting out what the puppets were supposed to do as reference to Nate, the puppeteer, on his second channel. Well since nothing had manifested from that, I proposed Miguel and I ask if Thomas could release the footage to patreon if he still had it/had time. Well the man actually wrote that down and turns out? He still had it!

Random thing I noticed

Someone has been hit in the head with something for the past 6 Sanders Sides main episodes

It started at Crofters the Musical- Thomas with the jam jar lid

Then in LNTAO it was Roman with the paper

In Embarrassing Phases it was Thomas with the rock

In SVS part 1 it was Logan with the butterfingers

DWIT...

...pretty self-explanatory. And Logan gets hit with the throwing star (I think that’s what it’s called?) later on too.

Nothing happens in the asides episode, but these are a separate series in a way. If you only count main episodes, the streak continues- Patton gets hit with the dialogue box in the redux.

What does this actually mean then, you ask? Well... I don’t really know. This is just something I picked up on, I have no idea if it was intentional or not. If you have an actual coherent theory to take from this, I’d love to hear it!

Ok, so Thomas has made alternate versions of certain scenes in certain videos that do not include the flashing lights in the original scene. While I have a lot of related issues with Thomas and Co at the moment and so will not be using this space to praise Thomas for this, these are good things to have. What is not good is the amount of people on the comments of this going “secret comment section!” And treating it like some sort of Easter egg scavenger hunt where they’re part of some “special club” for finding them. These seperate videos are accessibility features. Please treat them as such.

Okay more new episode thoughts…

I was surprised by Logan's little speech to Remus about how the sides all have their part to play in keeping Thomas healthy.

I mean, I agree with him! But it wasn't too long ago that Logan could barely admit Roman contributed anything of value. What triggered the change?

I see two possibilities:

1) It's a legitimate change in opinion. Yay character development! Due to being consistently ignored and talked over, Logan has been forced to acknowledge that Thomas can be a functional human being without him at the forefront, and therefore, that he's not the most important side, but a member of that team.

2) It's a change in rhetoric. Logan still thinks he's the most important side, but clearly, given that he's consistently ignored and talked over, that's never going to be acknowledged. So he'll work towards the closest attainable goal: being a member of the team.

In (1), Logan being met with reassurances that he's valued and changes in behavior from the others to support that would resolve the crux of the issue.

In (2), reassurances won't fix what's simmering beneath the surface. There's a lot of bitterness and rage down there, and Logan has some more turmoil and change to go through before anything gets fixed.
