Hello! It has been some time, hasn’t it? Now, I don’t have pictures of some of my travels through the wilderness, but I do have an interesting find from today! While in my residence, I heard a strange clicking noise. At least, no the usual ones. Come to find, it was a Click Beetle, but not the standard one you would expect!

This fellow appears to be the closest to the one that stumbled into my abode, part of the genus Deilelater. The most interesting thing though, is that those spots are bioluminescent! I was flabbergasted when I saw them glow!

If you are not out adventuring at the moment, perhaps a small fragment of it will come and find you. If it does, I suggest doing your best to learn about the creatures that find their way to you!

I...tried to make a meme and got carried away and made A Thing that is like partially unfinished because i spent like 3 hours on it and then got tired.

I think this is mostly scientifically accurate but truth be told, there seems to be relatively little research on succession in regards to lawns specifically (as opposed to like, pastures). I am not exaggerating how bad they are for biodiversity though—recent research has referred to them as "ecological deserts."
