when he's frustrated, he'll mutter curses under his breath like it's so sexy and hot and pussy soddening or dick hardening (I don't have a dick idk how it works)

he loves when you wear long, flowy dresses or shirts, especially if they are in white. if you get it you get it

he would like white clothes on you since white typically represents like purity and cleanliness. and with all the stuff he's been through and it's just comforting

he's the lightest sleeper ever. he wakes up if you shift in bed too fast, if you make any unusual sound, literally wakes up so easily and this leads to him being very sleepy :(

he would want 2 kids so they aren't lonely. he wouldn't ever want his kids to feel the loneliness he felt as an orphan

he's a girl dad but if he had a son then you already know that kid is going to be a carbon copy of his dad

sometimes he comes home really drunk and he leans all over you, kissing you all over and saying how much he loves you and stuff and then he cries and then falls asleep

when he goes fishing or hunting or camping he always drags you along for it even if you complain

he looks like he goes camping like every season as the vacation he so desperately asks for 24/7

he doesn't understand text abbreviations. he's like a victorian child. he says "LOL" and doesn't even know what it means. "leon I'm feeling really sick, bring me some soup please" "Ok LOL."

he also replies really slowly to texts sometimes, it's not even on purpose he is just has no clue how to iphone

during missions, he has those cute lil kitten sneezes (like in re4r) but at home this man forces them to be obnoxiously loud because it always makes you giggle

and his hearts melts a little every time you giggle. your laughter is like his favorite sound in the whole wide world

he gets home at unholy hours of the night usually, so he usually just goes to the bedroom, gives you a kiss on your forehead or cheek while you're asleep and takes a quick shower before sleeping

however on nights where you wait for him to get home he is taken by surprise when you fling yourself into his arms when he enters

when be walks in he'll be like "sono a casa..." really quietly

yeah he learned a little italian bc he's like a mafioso son basically so he decided "why not just learn italian and make my girlfriend swoon over it?" il mio king

he's incredibly insecure in relationships. he thinks you deserve better than him, somebody who can be there for you without fail and isn't heavily traumatized

when you're sick he will literally do everything for you, he doesn't let you do anything until you're better

even when you aren't sick he does everything, he justa bit more lenient

hero complex ofc, he loves being there to 'save you' even if it's just helping you get something off the top shelf or helping you zip up a dress or a shirt

always puts his bed by you in minecraft even tho he has no idea how to play :3

also, loves bear hugging you. but he also does those hugs where he lifts you up completely and spins you around a little

if you where in raccoon city with him he would do the spinning hug the second you were finally safe

when he's feeling really affectionate (usually when he's a lil tipsy) he'll tell you things like "sei tutto il mio mondo" and "sei la metà della mia mela" (this is so cute if you also love apples)

he's a heavyweight this man can handle his alcohol, so if you get drunk easy like me, then yea he's def got you covered

doesn't let anybody he doesn't trust near you when you're drunk

also, even when he's drunk he's very protective. he's actually more protective

he is really good at comforting you when you need it but often pushes you away when you need it :(

sometime he will disappear for long periods of times. and he cuts off all contact. but eventually you will get a call from somebody like chris, claire, etc. that leon was drinking and they were bringing him home

he goes through cycles of highs where he stops drinking and lows where he drinks excessively (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥｀)

sometimes he'll send you random selfies when he gets service or random texts like "Hi." and tbh it scared the shit out of you to just get a random Hi when he's in the middle of like the desert a few times

he isn't really good with physical affection, he'll give you awkward hugs and hold your hands but he's just very awkward in general so...

but if we're talking cute re2make leon then omfg hugs 24/7 he will not keep his hands off you

he isn't really into pda bc he's shy about it, he will hold your hand and maybe give you an awkward side hug but that's really it unless it's one of those special occasions lmfao

this is kind of random but when he's alone he likes to look at old pictures of you both and just reminisce on the past ໒꒰ྀི´ ˘ ` ꒱ྀིა

i was just going thru some notes i have for brainstorming purposes and came across something i forgot ab

picture it w me, if you will:

no upside down modern au, alpha!eddie/omega!steve (bc apparently that's where my brain always goes)

steve is drunk at a party and either billy or tommy (also drunk) takes advantage of him. he ends up pregnant, kicked out, b/t wants nothing to do w any of it. steve's mom (bc we appreciate one good parent in this house) sends him money every month in exchange for pictures and updates of child w/o his dad's knowledge.

eddie meet him at some kind of organization event for underprivileged kids that he volunteers at bc he was that kid and knows how important they are. at first, he thinks steve is another volunteer & is absolutely enamored by him. but once he sees steve's kid run up to him, he decides to back off bc he assumes this means steve is in a relationship. he keeps seeing steve around and silently pines the whole time bc he's accepted that he'll never have him.

until eddie is at the library, hosting d&d. the party joins a few campaigns, and he gets to know them a little. he likes them, they're good kids (teenagers, technically). one day steve brings his toddler to the library bc they like to look thru the picture books on steve's days off. he also knows that the party goes to d&d that day and wants to say hi. when he leaves, eddie asks the party if they know him, and they explain that steve used to babysit them and drove them around a lot when they were in middle school. he uses this as an in w steve, resolved to just talk to him once and maybe be his friend.

he asks ab the kid's other parent simply for small talk purposes, wondering what they're like and why eddie's never seen them around. steve explains that he's a single parent; the kid's father was an asshole that didn't want to face the consequences of his actions.

cue eddie desperately doing everything possible to impress this child so he can prove to steve just how serious he is ab being w them. i like the think of it in the same vein as your moms new boyfriend trying to make you like him, even tho you already do and there's no need for him to try That Hard. but much more ridiculous and dramatic in true eddie munson fashion.

ok, its time for a QUICK tng update before xm*s proceedings. saturday we did "best of both worlds part ii" and "family" and last night we did "brothers" and "suddenly human."

best of both worlds part ii: I LOOOOOVED THIS EPISODE. mwah. EVERYTHING i wanted. creepy little cyborg implants. brainwashed picard. his beautiful perfect cgi tear (which may or may not have been cgi, this is a point of debate, experts please weigh in). data bravely doing a robot mind meld. 1000000/10 more borg episodes please please PLEASE

can you imagine if the borg has ben in tos btw. what a thought experiment, except for how i quite literally can't think about it or i'll get so excited i'll pass out

did guinan imply she and picard were lovers in this ep...girl you can do better

my one nitpick with william riker was him promoting that lady he hated instead of someone who deserved it, like worf or data. it probably would have given worf ptsd but can you imagine that enterprise having a captain and first officer being gay on the bridge again...wonderful. except this time there would also be deanna <3

"how much do you remember" "everything" AHAHAHAHA GREAT. GOOD. WONDERFUL. anyway

family: extremely unusual episode but i loved it nonetheless. i was really shocked worf's parents were so sweet!!! i fucking loved them. they're like the cutest people on earth i can't believe they raised such a taciturn and stoic guy like worf...

picard's family i wasn't sure about at first until the wrestling match in the mud. sometimes you need to punch a guy and his brother stepped up to the job admirably. i kept thinking he looked like michael caine, which would have been an incredible choice.

WESLEY.....................................................we don't need to talk about it

everyone's accents in this ep were wack. why does picard have a totally different accent from his brother. why is worf's accent different from his parents. ik its not that deep but its making me crrrazzzyyy

brothers: i didnt even get a look at the title of this episode before we started bc vumoo (the shady site im using to watch) doesn't display them but it was SUCH an unexpected pleasure to get a data episode

absolutely scuh-reaming at the ease with which he hijacked an ENTIRE goddamn starship. he's so competent i love that. a real "glad he's on OUR side" moment, not unlike spock commandeering the enterprise in "the menagerie" (rip i wish that had been a better episode).

lore grew on me really fast. i was neutral on him during his last appearance, the meme aside, but in this episode he was really fun and unsettling. brent spiner can do horrible, horrible things with his face

this ep felt a little cut off? i expected another confrontation with lore, a getting back of the chip, or at least some kind of burial or funeral for dr soong, but we just quit like 3/4 through the episode. maybe less time spent on the opening section of the hijack could have fixed this

anyway i love the foil between data and lore...one has support and the other does not...but it doesn't make sense for lore to get the emotions chip because it seems like he already HAS them??

oh yeah and data repeating "i am not less perfect than lore" got funnier EVERY time he did it. little man was really going thru it i was cracking up genuinely <3

suddenly human: this episode was wack

ok, did you guys read face on the milk carton when you were in school? i did when i was way too young to be reading it and it fucked me up real bad and i completely forgot about it until i watched this episode and then i got to unlock that memory in real time

anyway, while it is obviously the correct choice to return a child to their family when they are kidnapped as babies, it is also hugely traumatic for an older child to be ripped away from a loving home* and transplanted with strangers, which those books explore in horrific detail. so the whole episode i found myself going "i KNOW it's bad politics but could they not just CONSIDER leaving him with the only family he's ever known as a possible choice" and then they DID THAT and i wanted to be ill because it was obviously the worst choice in the world

* this is a different scenario than the first tng episode involving kidnapped children, which strongly resembled the residential schools from real life. THIS particular situation, minus the method of kidnapping (during warfare), more closely resembled the crazy cult shit happening in those books, where the kidnapped girl was being raised by people who thought they really were her biological grandparents and weren't bad people and her biological family also weren't bad people. a "no fault" situation EXCEPT FOR HE KIDNAPPENED THAT BABY DURING WARFARE.

anyway this is the second time tng has dropped the ball on this subject so i think from now on they should not do episodes like this anymore. really really really really bad.

number 1. zayne, lloyd, and garmedon definitely the lineup of favorite characters.

number 2. i hate. i hate misako. i hate her. i really hope she either a) gets some massive character development or b) never shows up in a relevant capacity again

i wish that there was like. more conflict with the human realm and her mom? like in her eyes her mom sent her away to camp and then when she came back she was "fixed" and her mom didn't even notice anything was wrong until Luz told her she she had been replaced like. I feel like that would fuck a kid up a little bit. add that to her feeling like she shouldn't be upset bc A. She offered her home to Vee and B. vee had it worse then her so she has no right to feel upset!! but like. I have a lot of thoughts on this concept

the heat dream sequences: my thoughts - d:dw

ok soooooo i just reread this arc super recently. like umm maybe 3-4 yrs ago i read this arc for the first time, completely forgot about it, and recently i got around to catching up and reading akihiro's newer stuff. so i'm just waiting around for new mutants and marauders to update rn so i'd like to just . ramble abt my thoughts here abt both akihiro and how i feel like the heat arc was super mid plot wise tbh, but how the character writing was awesome imo

i'll be using pages from daken: dark wolverine issues 10-23 w references to other runs

ok i want to . first try to figure out what's happening here

so heat can influence people's perception of reality - and show hints of an individual's true nature. most of the heat hallucinations we see are from the two highlighted victims of the claw killer, donna, logan, and ofc akihiro. i'll be focusing on akihiro's hallucinations specifically bc his are the most prominent, not to mention the most intriguing since it gives us a rare glimpse of his psyche

this whole sequence is like. huh. the way he describes how warm he feels is interesting - "the world is the temperature of a mother embracing a lost and panicked child"... that's such a specific way to describe feeling high. also it's something he's realistically never experiences (looking at his backstory) so it's very. huh! so does he ... desire that? kinship? i think so bc of. what other sequences we see from him. also keep in mind the green and yellow boxes. i think they mean something more. the green boxes come in whenever "daken" is speaking. but the yellow boxes? those only show up in the heat hallucinations. they're usually panicking about akihiro's deteriorating condition. they're the voice that questions the purpose of heat.

those yellow boxes... who is that? now. we see these boxes pop up again somehow.... kinda. in issue #13. we see donna's boxes come up + her thoughts. its a bright yellow, contrasting w akihiro's olive green boxes.

so if . donna's boxes are bright yellow, and akihiro's is olive green, then who is the dark yellow bubbles? they're clearly thoughts,,,, but of whom?

ok so the next part is. devoid of "daken" (the green boxes, that's what i'm gonna dub it for the rest of this analysis idk stick w me here folks)

so the first semblance of this weird dark yellow color is how they depict johnny here. first of all... why is johnny storm out of all people here? why is he akihiro's guide? and why is he the "librarian's assistant" to the place akihiro is introduced to work in?

here it's vital to note that in reality, akihiro is basically dead. he has little to no healing factor holding him up right now. so we won't be seeing "daken" until the end of this hallucination. that's right - i'm dubbing this guy "akihiro" (I KNOW . I KNOW they call him daken here but whatever. i'm not calling him that argue w the wall idc)

the heat...! you think that's why he feels like johnny storm is one of the harbingers of his library? the library that. in a way is the storage of sins committed? since the library is full of the names of people who akihiro killed.

as you can see here, "akihiro" is sorry for killing people. he even takes the beating and stabbing almost willingly. he's.... taking punishment. the subconscious guilt that akihiro feels deep down, almost unawaked, is stored far far away from . its his superego, this persona of his. his desire deep down is to . be boring . be in control . be guilt-free? maybe. based off his conditioning it seems like he can't really think of forgiveness or acceptance of wrongdoing as a viable answer to be free of guilt - which leads to the only other option: punishment. and in a way, his own subconscious is beating him down... until donna comes and belittles him for being "weak". as we've seen in previous issues of this run and in the concurrent x-23 run, akihiro sees caring or even genuinely feeling emotion to be something "weak". that's what "akihiro" is doing right now - showing signs of weakness. the hidden side of him. in this point of the story, akihiro still thinks of donna as a psychopath - just like him. so in a way, "donna" encouraging him to be less pathetic and become "daken" again is like him saying to himself to be less weak. and lo and behold, "daken" awakens.

oh well. at least we know something is at play here w his psyche. i personally believe that essentially:

"daken" (the olive green boxes + all of akihiro's conscious dialogue) is the ego - the conscious part which flips flops constantly on ... idk what he wants anymore

"akihiro" (the dark yellow boxes + the mild mannered newbie in the extended hallucination sequence with johnny) is the superego - the "good" side of him

"donna" (the hallucination of her in the extended hallucination sequence) and the "costumed daken" (the guy we see in the last page) is part of the id - the impulsive, "bad" side to him

idk i thought this was kinda interesting to think abt . i wanna delve more into his backstory and apparent "psychopathy" that he self-diagnoses himself w all the time. is it true? or is it just another excuse to what he does? i'll talk more abt that in a later post

Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget (2023)

Having escaped from the farm, Ginger and Rocky welcome a new little adventurer into their lives. Back on the mainland, the whole of chicken-kind faces a terrible new threat.

JayBell: One of the biggest plot points of this sequel--protecting the child from conflict and struggle by hiding the truth of the world from them--isn't unique. Like a little honesty with your child would go a long way.

I like that the lighting and tone and the animation is so much brighter in this sequel, not just because of advancements in animation, but because the story itself is so much more hopeful than the first. Of course it doesn't shy away from the central message of animal cruelty and human greed, but because all the chickens have created this free society, it automatically makes the world feel brighter.

I was wondering how they would update the concept of the first movie, and I think moving the conflict to center around a big corporation with more funding and a facade of morality is the perfect representation of the issue in the present day.

I also like that they made Rocky more himbo and less of a jerk in this one. I find him so much more likeable compared to his character in the original. The mother-daughter connection is a key part of the movie, and it's beautifully portrayed.

All in all, I'm impressed with the sequel. I'm glad they took their time creating it and didn't rush the process, even if it took 20 years.

Anzie: Okkkay soo shockingly the sequel is so much better than the O.G. Chicken Run. And I hate to say this, but the animation is so much better, bc that’s kinda not fair to say but it is. Annnnd the story is more fun too and feels like it’s got more details in it than the first. Although- like most secrets- this whole movie wouldn’t exist if Molly was just told the truth about the other side of the pond. The colors and different locations in the movie definitely feel like they add a lot of what the first movie was missing.

Ohhh and something I forgot in my first review- absolutely love the rats- but the one is a freak. Like he’s so obsessed with butts????? A little too much guys.

Love the fact that the farmer lady got a glow up bc she ditched her last husband and married a chicken nugget scientist that’s also a freaaaak. One thought tho is- and I really have no idea what they wanted the time line to be- but say definitely years later??- the same chicken that put me in a gravy machine and ran off with all my other chickens- just pops up in a secure Fort Knox style chicken farm/brainwashing facility/ nugget factory. I’d be worried and ask to be committed for my own safety. But that’s just me. Idk. Again it can’t beat flushed away’s superiority- but it was fun and cute and weird, so there’s that.

few updates cause its been a while

first, and less exciting one: i went to the cinema with a friend today. after what, 3 years?? probably. but i forgot its carnaval for a moment, and was reminded by seeing so many boobs. so many. girls with boobs out. in public transport. panicked for 3 seconds, remembered where i live and what time of the year it was and everything was good again.

second, we might be able to buy the 4th floor apartment! im having a crisis tho, bc my new bedroom will be less than half the size of my current one and its been very difficult to plan where tf am i gonna fit everything. as i said in the last few updates, i sleep inside a print shop now, so i need to have my bed and also all the machinery i use, and my books, and the product inventory... and beyond the new room being smaller, it is also very VERY... diagonal? crooked? one of the walls goes on diagonal to the rest of the room, with one other being 1,97m long and another being 2,60m, and both the crooked and the remaining one are 3,10m. i'll update again with images eventually, but the whole place is way smaller.

third, we are both, me and mum now, on our last leg with dad. he doesnt contribute anymore, he spent all of our money, he made debts when i specifically told him not to and im very suspicious of him having an affair. i dont recognize him anymore. he hasnt been a dad, my dad, in a long while. i have my issues with mom, but she doesnt deserve this. in fact we've been way closer and getting along way better. we're at the point of maybe waiting for the new apartment to be bought and finished and telling dad to get his shit together and leave. i dnot have the mental fortitude to deal with his shit, and i wont be taking care of a person who does not take care of himself. one of my friends called me a caregiver, as im my parents only child, but i refuse to be one. i dnot want kids, i will not parent my parents.

fourth, and the most exciting news for me: was approved on the post grad interview! i might be reaching (no one else thinks so), but im trying to be logical an at the same time not get any expectations. But. if there were 40 openings, 32 people were selected to be interviwed, and only 30 attended, me being one of them, this may, maybe, mean that im in, right?? i sure hope so, but i also worry bc its paid, and i have no idea if i can pay for it. i cant get a grant, or a scholarship, bc dad's gross salary is high enough to take me out of those lists, even tho hes receiving less than half of it. i cant apply on my own bc my address is the same as my parents. and having no job other than the few cons im attending will get me not enough money for the monthly pay. it may sound stupid in dollars, as its less than 60usd per month, but thats 280brl and i make about 180 average per convention. a few cons i make more, but i dont have a con every month, or more than one per month most times, and i also have to pay for them anyways, an the material. anyways, im happy but slightly discouraged. i already had to give up the japanese classes, idk how im gonna keep up with my studies.

thats it for now. wish i could sell things internationally, but no one would buy and the mail service would be expensive anyway

this man straight up saw u in a cutscene for one second and fell in love

he even added future (y/n) haver in his twt display name

the 1.2 update stream 🐥 he was there waiting for it to go live with like,,, 19k viewers spamming his chat abt predictions and obv ur official release + showcase

and when i say this man fell even more in love while watching ur trailer and character showcase 🥺 he wouldn’t stop smiling or being in awe bc ur just??? so stunning???

the kit initially designed for u is meant to be more for support?? kinda like the whole ganyu or zhongli debate abt them being a dps or a support/sub dps ;-;

and even though the majority said at the beginning (aka, mihoyo, pretty much any other streamer and the larger part of the fanbase) that ur meant for support, he said fuck that and built u as his main dps

and i won’t lie, u do more damage than any of his characters, and ppl who co op with him

ur his pride and joy :’)

he went to take a look at ur consts to see if they were worth the rng suffering and, lo-and-behold,

so now he’s using all his saved primos for u to try and get ur c6 const, along with making ur weapon r5 :’)

his chat gets a free view of him internally suffering when the gold light doesn’t come, and his external suffering when he loses the 50/50

in the end, he decided to whale for u <33

scaramouche is a famous tea channel, he starts informs people about drama in the youtube community. his sources are usually untrustworthy but everyone believes him because he's pretty. has been cancelled numerous times but still comes back every single time, much to the chagrin of the poor streamers whom he sets his eye on to make his next video about.

feiyun slope is is the northeastern area in liyue harbour. in-game, wanmin restaurant is actually in chihu rock, but for story purposes it's now at feiyun slope since that's usually where business occurs in the game.

hu tao and yanfei were on a ghost-hunting date, they had stopped to take a break after quite a long time without seeing any ghosts and that's when hu tao texted in the groupchat.

xiao's contact name is tiny because of a joke w his chinese name that i mentioned in a previous chapter. xiao’s chinese name is 魈, read as xiāo and meaning 'demon’, but the word for 'small’ in chinese is 小, read as xiăo. basically if you mispronounce xiao’s name the meaning will change, and so y/n nicknamed him tiny bc of the word 小.

while yanfei says the username is 'genshin-impact-updates', the actual poster is 'gi-updates'. just take this as yanfei having a rare lapse of memory, pretend it's not bc i realised twt usernames can't be that long <3
