Ok so when I write stuff I always make Nightshade he/him because that’s is what comes naturally for me. But I am not a non binary hater. I have had people block me for trying to explain this so that is why I am anonymous.

I just want to say NiGHTSHADE YOU ARE AWESOME AND EVEN IF SOME PEOPLE LIKE ME DONT USE YOUR PRONOUNS WE LOVE YOU ANYWAY. I LOVE YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH

Anon, I’m not going to be overly rude here, and if I come off as such, that’s not my intention, though I am a little vindictive here. But I’m going to be wholly honest here: not using someone’s preferred pronouns, and ignoring them in favor of what’s more comfortable for you personally, is actually very disrespectful, and it does not demonstrate love.

Now, for the moment, I’ll give you a pass, because I definitely understand if you haven’t had much time and experience to get used to it, so you’re new to writing them, I was there too, but please at least try to work on using they/them/their for them, and in future asks you send please refer to them as a they/them. It doesn’t have to be an overnight transformation, but work on it. I’m sure if you try, give yourself some time, and start working on it, soon it will come naturally like nothing.

And for the record, when I say I understand, I remember when I was first writing them way back when the series came out - while they’re all drafts within my Wattpad books, and I always went back to correct myself, just to enforce that self-policing I was doing to make sure I got them right - I used to use gendered pronouns for them sometimes too.

It was a slip, and I really never meant to be hateful, or spiteful. Most characters had always been gendered in some form, so that’s what I was subconsciously used to.

But, as I wrote, and wrote, and the more I thought of them as a they/them, the more that tendency to gendered terms slipped away, and now calling them a they/them/their is so natural I don’t even really have to think anymore.

This proves obvious from how since then, I have lots of lovely NB characters, such as:

Knockout, Trans Genderfluid - She, her, they, and them are most common, but occasionally uses he, him, and his.

Dragstrip, Demifluid - They/Them, occasionally also he/him

Mesothulas, Agender - They/Them

Unnamed Getaway/Atomizer Kid, Genderless - any/all pronouns; gender what’s that? who needs one, that shit’ll weigh them down. as far as anyone else is concerned, their gender is anarchy, and they identify as a threat to the government.

Evac, Bigender - He/him and They/them

So trust me, if you start to focus down on calling them they/them/their, it will become easier! Just work on it, and slowly with a little bit of time it’ll practically be second nature soon.

Really good Alphys character study. One of those fics you could slot into canon with next to no resistance.

Despite living in Snowdin for months, Papyrus still feels like an outsider. An invisible barrier stands between him and the sense of community he craves. His brother tells him to be patient, but Papyrus would rather take matters into his own hands. Sans tries his best to understand.

Pre-canon, pre confidence spike Papyrus centric. Good angst and bros miscommunicating. Struck a bit close to home tbh. Seeing Papyrus before his bravado might be a bit jarring, but the interactions between the brothers more than made up for it to me personally. I really, REALLY enjoyed the way Sans is written here. Biscia stamp of approval.

I'm not sure if the author is ever going to turn this into a full fledged story, but even as a vignette it is extremely fucking funny.

Probably my favorite crossover fic idea of all time. Formatted like a WTNV episode, has segments both with AND without the monsters. Marked as incomplete (I'm assuming the author wants to eventually add new vignettes) but the final chapter is a special segment about Chara, Frisk and Flowey that is so flooring and clever it ties the entire work together perfectly either way.

What if Revived!Clover dimension hopped into an AU where they weren't revived and saw their dead body

Out of all honest, Revived!Clover (Flowey HAS to be with them at all times to make the vines work properly.) would probably force or perhaps try to convincing flowey to make a burial for the alternative ver of them; Cause it felt right, and Revived!Clover felt that perhaps somewhere…

In another universe, Another alternative version of them perhaps met a gruesome end, and is now a ghost; their body a soulless carcass isn’t put to rest, giving the ghost no closure… And Revived! Clover wanted to give this Clover Justice, in hopes. That the spirit would find closure, and perhaps move on… (😉)

Clover hopes, that in some timelines, their bodies weren't disrespected and were done no Justice to. Maybe, for now.

I always imagined that the barrier looks less like, well, a barrier and more like a giant piss-off force field around the area

So even though monsters lived in the ruins for so long, no one bothered to climb/dig their way out the other end. Or if they did, they found out the barrier was still there the hard way

So yeah, martlet never bothered to try flying out from that way. You'd need a monster and human soul to get out after all.

After frisk fell though....

Barrier's made of anti-monster magic. Y'know, to stop monsters from like trying to bash their way out through brute force I guess. Most monsters begin to feel physically weak as they near the barrier, which makes flying out with a human child on your back just that much harder

No. No it is not. I think the incorrect quote about the zoo being jail and having done crimes also fits very well. XD Also, if that’s a reference to Rescue Bots S1E6/“Walk on the Wild Side”, *forehead kiss*

In fact, when I got your ask yesterday, I started writing a fic, or at least the dialogue to it. Dunno if I’ll finish it, but this ask inspired me to it.

“Definitely.” Thrash agreed, looking at it too.

“Ooh, ooh, that seal there might've committed vehicular manslaughter.” Hashtag enthusiastically joined in.

“Mmmm...”

“I don't know how it would do that, but it very well could be possible...”

“I think it's actually a mafia boss, that goes after poachers.” Nightshade added, joining the fun.

“Nightshade wins.” Hashtag announced.

Clearly none of them could read the room. Or, well, the immediate vicinity.

Do you think sans and toriel tell dirty jokes? I could see sans telling them depending on the audience (probably more a thing for grillbys) but I'm never sure about toriel, not that I think she's a prude about it or anything but I can't figure out if it would be her type of humour or not y'know?

actually i don't think sans tells dirty jokes at all, the dirtiest he ever pushes himself to in canon is implying he's fucked your mom, and even then he immediately walks it back. if you asked him he'd probably be like "dirty jokes, huh? yeah, i know some of those." and then spend half an hour punning about socks or dust or just straight up dirt. the fun is in defying expectations.

toriel acts like she's above that type of humor in polite company but get a few glasses of wine in her and she brings out the big guns

As his code became more and more corrupted with time tangled down in the basement and lack of food, his NEO suit began to glitch heavily until the armor and wings completely disappeared off of his body, snapping a few wires loose along with it. Of course he still has the armor and wings hidden deep in his mess of code somewhere, but it’s not there by default anymore and rarely surfaces.

Here in this drawing he’s already missing the wings since they were the first to go, but the armor hasn’t quite glitched off yet.

I want to know more about Anyone!All Might. His characterisation has a very different take given he doesn't have Izuku. Would it be okay to share how would he react if he knew Izuku (faked) died?

Honestly? Deep down, he would be pissed. Like, obviously, he would get sad about Izuku's death, because it was a misguided child who tried to be a hero, and heartbroken that OFA is gone. But deep down? He would be enraged that this dumbass kid stole OFA only to get killed by a two-bits serial killer a couple of months afterwards. He isn't proud of it, he wouldn't admit it but I know all.

Part of him would feel responsible. #He should have taken the time to modulate his answer instead of telling him the cold harsh truth one day where he was depressed and in abso #ute pain #He should have taken the time to know Izuku if only to find him again.
